-------------Wrestler Info-------------
Wrestler's Name:
Chris Card
Nickname(s):
Technical Perfection
The Real Man's Wrestler
Gimmick: You know that point in your 18 plus year wrestling career when fans get so used to you cheating that they stop booing you and start cheering you? That they're willing to overlook the years of over the top flaunting of wealth and loquacious insults and get behind your nefarious actions? No? Then you're not Chris Card. But you can still buy the T-shirt!
Height:
6'3
Weight:
220lbs
Fights out of: Toronto, Ontario, Canada
Alignment: Dirty, despicable, cheat of a Face. Think Ric Flair.
Pic Base: Rob Conway
Appearance/Attire:
Deep purple elbow pads, white wrist tape, black tights with a white skull over a purple ace of spades logo on each side, black wrestling boots with "CARD" in white text on them. Outside of the ring, tailored Italian suits with designer shirts, designer shades and a Cuban cigar.
Theme Music: "DC Sound Attack!" by Clutch
Entrance: Purple and white spotlights home in on the entrance area as the opening drum fill to "DC Sound Attack!" plays. As the harmonica and guitars start up, Chris Card walks the first few steps out from the curtain and pauses, soaking in the atmosphere and cracking an enigmatic smile. After a brief nod of acknowledgement to the crowd, Card walks purposefully down to the ring.
"The optics of it are not important,
The public don't give a damn,
I see you're in need of consultation now,
Everybody needs a sinister hand"
Alison Valance: WEIGHING IN AT TWO HUNDRED AND TWENTY POUNDS AND FIGHTING OUT OF TORONTO, ONTARIO, CANADA, HE IS "THE REAL MAN'S WRESTLER", "TECHNICAL PERFECTION" CHRIIIIIIIIIIIIS CAAAAAAAAAAAAARD!
Card rolls under the bottom rope and stands in the center of the ring, basking in the crowd reaction before retreating to his corner to be checked over by the referee.
Special Entrance: None as yet.
Primary Style: Technical with a British wrestling edge.
Secondary Style: MMA. Chris is primarily trained in Muay Thai but has rounded out his game in recent years.
Other Style: Cheating. Oh so much cheating.
Strengths: Chris is an excellent grappler and chain wrestler, liking to mix strikes and grappling into beautiful flowing combinations. He is a difficult man to outwrestle. And then he cheats. With an almost ESP like sense of where the referee's gaze is, Chris doesn't get caught (unless he wants to - and even then he's probably setting up a different illegal tactic while the referee is distracted by the first one). He's also very difficult to cheat against because he's probably done it first and better.
Weaknesses: Chris doesn't fly. At all. Ever. Chris also lacks any huge power moves of any description, so it's always the death of 1,000 cuts rather than putting his opponent out cold with something dangerous. Chris also suffers from the odd bout of Dick Dastardly syndrome. Sometimes a cunning plan is just too good not to try when he might be better off just trying to win clean.
