Maxine was once again with her little choir, preparing them In song as she stood in an area of the Compound as she starts to sing along with them.
Fight the good fight with all thy might,
Pack is thy strength and Pack thy right;
lay hold on life, and it shall be
thy joy and crown eternally.
Run the straight race, through Rowan’s good grace,
lift up thine eyes and seek her face;
life with its way before us lies,
Pack is the path and Pack the prize.
Cast care aside, lean on thy Guide;
our boundless mercy will provide;
trust, and thy trusting soul shall prove
Pack is its life and Pack its love.
Faint not nor fear, our arms are near;
we changeth not, and thou art dear;
only believe, and thou shalt see
that pack is all in all to thee.
As the song peeled out as Max stood back with a smile and she spied the form of Dean in the door way and she smiles at him as she wandered on over.
“Hey you, You seem in a good mood.”
Max chuckles as she nodded a bit.
“It’s a good day Dean. The sun is shining and people are screaming.”
Dean chuckles.
“Such a romantic, Max Is that all?”
Max smiled coyly and leaned up next to him on the wall with a chuckle.
“Well there is a certain memelord who’s mere appearance has put me in a good mood, or rather improved my day significantly.”
Dean grinned as he slide close to bump his hip against hers.
“Flattery will get you everywhere.”
Max chuckles a bit and then gets a little serious a hand touching his face.
“Don’t let him take you.”
Dena looked at Max and frowned putting a hand on top of hers as he gazes at her,
“You’re worried about that?”
Max nodded softly as she voice half broke as she said with a little smile lying through her teeth.
“No, I’m not worried, not at all..”
Dean leaned forwards and their foreheads touched even as Dean looked sad.
“What happens if they do?”
Max looked at him and she frowned.
“You don’t want to know.”
Dean gazed into her eyes, into her soul it felt like even as he felt a shiver run down his spine as he saw it there gazing back at him at the merest thought of Dean being taken. A cheeky grin peeking out.
“Yeah I do. It’ll be hot.”
Max replied dryly, her voice seeming to drop like a stone as her emotions died on the spot ashes looked at him, through him.
“No, you don’t, not this time. You’ll be witness to it and I won’t stop until I get you back.”
Dean withered and pulled her in close to kiss her nose with a whisper and a smile.
“I’ll wait for you.”
Max chuckles a bit and said softly, capturing him in another kiss,
“Don’t make me cry Dean Harper.”
Dean smiles at her and brushes just below an eye and said with another small grin.
“Not tears, never tears.”
We fade in on a iron bar poking at the embers with a wry smirk as her eyes are still cast down and she speaks.
“You wanted challenges and I have given you one, you say you aren’t afraid and I’ve seen how far you come, but you’re still alone little girl.”
Max smirks a bit.
“People think I’m a monster and they’re right but the world needs monsters. I’m a necessary evil Vivienne without me you people have nothing to aim for, nothing to strive for without the struggle. You are meaningless, feckless and you have all turned away thinking us jokes, the rules have changed.”
Maxine chuckles a bit and pushes once more at the ashes stirring the burnt embers to generate the glow of heat even as she spoke gently.
“The last we met I threw you around like a broken doll, but It was a lesson, an you have learned well, look at you, holding that belt so close proud of what you are proud of your legacy, proud that you stand tall here at the Seventh seal, you watched your former friend help you to victory, savage poor Pandora and you know what I saw Vivienne?”
A long pause.
“I saw you do nothing , I saw you wait and if Shae hadn‘t gotten involved you would have happily not involved yourself in the problem you know why?”
A chuckle.
“Pride.”

“That’s your sin cinnamon roll, that’s your weakness. Pride and fear, you talk the talk now, but you Vivienne have and always will be consumed by your pride and for that? You must be punished.”
Max shook her head.
“You sit there on a throne of sugar spinning yourself as something good and bright when the truth is Vivienne you lie, you lie to yourself you lie to the people you lie to the memory for your father, and all the while you gather the fortitude to stand in front of the monster not realising that in order to face it?”
Maxine smirks.
“You become something terrible yourself, something so terrible it denies it even exists all the while watching as it’s enemies are consumed and left aside, ignorant of the damage you inflict on everyone around so consumed with your justice that you forget to see if you need help, and before your know it you are lost in the shadow of the warp.”
A small laugh.
“Drowning in the arms of the abyss.”
She chuckles.
“Come Bloody Assizes, Vivienne I will take the belt form your bedraggle form and I will once again claim dominance to The Open Weight to my Sheildmaiden, my little Astrid.”
She tosses the bar into the embers and stands up .
“With you the fires of resistance begin to die, let this be a lesson and a warning.”
Fade out.
