{ With Mr. Happy already waiting in the ring, he lights in the arena flicker and die as if there were some kind of power outage. As the light sounds of an acoustic guitar play, the high pitched laughter of children fills the air. A red spotlight shines on the stage as heavy smoke rolls across the floor. As opening lyrics of Monster (Under my Bed) by Call me Karizma starts to sing Abraxes rises from the center of the stage, his eyes burning out from under his mask as he stares down at the ring.

The rhythm of the song changes from a twisted lullaby do a grinding rock song just as he rises to his full height. Abraxes glares around at the audience before he walks down the ramp, focused on the ring in front of him. He crawls into the ring, exaggerated movements of his hands and legs to appear more like a creepy spider then a man. He rolls to his feet, holding his arms into the air as the lullaby starts anew. }

Terri Morasco: Welcome, one and all, to another Monday Night Sacrifice! We do want to apologize for some technical issues these past few weeks, but we’re just about set for our opening match here!

Vasco Dias: Tell you what, this Abraxes has been very impressive…

Terri Morasco: And scary to watch! Mr. Happy looks just about ready to go, and…

[DING-DING-DING!!!]

{ The bell rings, and the two men trade back and forth blows for a solid five minutes with neither man gaining an advantage at first. Happy eventually gets some good offense in, including nailing the rookie Abraxes with a pair of decapitating clotheslines and a DDT that scores him a two-count! However, the clown’s inability to fend off the bigger rookie’s incredible strength, and he winds up on the business end of the crucifix powerbomb that’s dubbed the CONSIGN TO DREAM!!! }

Terri Morasco: Yikes!

Vasco Dias: Game over, man!

{ Satisfied with his work, Abraxes goes for the quick cover… }

Alison Valance: “This next contest is scheduled for one fall.”

{Max Power jogs out and does variations of a spinaroonie and many popular fortnite style dances, as well as dabbing. He makes his way down the aisle and executes a unique front-handspring from turnbuckle corner to the ring. Although a modern entrance, the TV edit is what makes it because when he comes out the picture changes from standard to eight-bit classic video game and switches to normal after he completes the handspring from the turnbuckle to the ring.}

Alison Valance: “Introducing first, from Silicon Valley, California and weighing in at 150 pounds, representing Flyforce…. Max Power!”

{As the opening strains of "I Remember (Rolling Thunder Intro)" by Tristam boom out over the sound system Nighthawk walks calmly to the ring with his wife Sin by his side in a blue-and-white kimono. As they kiss passionately at the top of the ramp, the crowd's adoration increasing in volume, they both let out a war cry before walking down to the ring carefully as blue, white, and orange strobe lights go off behind them before Nighthawk enters the ring by leaping over the top rope and then going to a neutral corner as the referee checks him for foreign objects.}

Alison Valance: “And his opponent, from Chicago, Illinois and weighing in at 185 pounds…. ‘The American Samurai’…. ‘The Wrestling Machine’ Nighthawk!”

Terri Morasco: “And as we come back to Sacrifice, a very interesting singles match is on tap. Nighthawk, returning to his usual role as the IWF’s welcoming committee, looks to do battle against Max Power of Flyforce. Nighthawk’s technical bonafides are second to none throughout the world, and Max Power comes highly regarded as a technician himself. This ought to be interesting.”

Vasco Dias: “Ever since his return, we’ve seen Nighthawk wrestle a much more British-influenced style than we did when he was last here. He seems to have become more interested in using deception, and tricks, to guide opponents into the holds and pinning combinations he wants to get them into. It’s less about brute-forcing his way through a problem, and more about figuring out the quickest way through. And for Max Power, someone without a lot of experience, wrestling someone with a style like that, who has seen and done everything, is going to be a very frustrating experience.”

{As the referee rings the bell, checking both men for foreign objects, Nighthawk warmly offers a hand to Max Power who accepts the handshake. Almost as soon as he releases the handshake Nighthawk sees the opening and calmly pops through into a European-style top wristlock before chaining that through into an elevated wristlock variation known as the Jim Breaks Special as he seems intent on putting work in on the arm almost immediately. Holding onto the armbar until just before Max Power gets to the ropes Nighthawk then quickly fashions a fast tilt-a-whirl armdrag right into a cross-legged crucifix pin that gets a very fast 2-count and causes the Silicon Valley native to roll to the floor where he looks at his opponent with new eyes, apparently stunned at just how fast his veteran opponent actually is. Calmly removing the orange peel-colored rubberband that keeps his long straight hair out of his face, a bashful smile on his face as the female fans in the audience let out high-pitched screams of approval at this turn of events, the “Wrestling Machine” steps back into the center of the ring and beckons Max Power in to continue the competition. Shaking out his arm as he tries to think of what to do next Max goes for a collar-and-elbow lockup only to be quickly trapped in a standing armwringer, quickly seeing Nighthawk grapevine his other arm before taking that armwringer over to the mat and converting it into a seated armbar before quickly placing his thumb directly in the palm of his opponent to keep the hand immobilized while he pronates and supinates the wrist to find the spot that causes the most damage. Flipping his hair out of his face as he goes to work on the arm of his opponent Max Power tries to get out of this with a counter headscissors only to see the Chicagoan swat that away like a fly getting too close to his face, continuing to bend the wrist back until Max Power finally is able to get to the ropes forcing a break of the hold which is given at the count of 1. Pulling himself up to his feet Max goes for a knife-edge chop only to see Nighthawk grab the chop before it gets to him and smoothly chains that into a flying cross-armbreaker right through into a Hangman’s Clutch which draws a lightning-quick yield.}

Alison Valance: “Your winner, as a result of submission, ‘The Wrestling Machine’ Nighthawk!”

Ryan Shane and Kimberly Jackson vs Lord Dominicus and Mimi Simpson

{ Lord Dominicus and Mimi Simpson are already in the ring. }

Vasco Dias: And here we are with another Round 1 match in the Olympian tournament!

Terri Morasco: Another unlikely duo in Ryan Shane and Kimberly Jackson! Let’s see how they fair against Lord Dominicus and Mimi Simpson!

{ "Black Vultures" by Halestorm hits the PA system hard as the crowd pops. The lights in the arena begin to strobe as Kimberly Jackson runs out onto the stage and does a little shadow boxing routine as pyro ignites behind her. She struts down the entrance ramp and rolls in under the bottom rope, jumping to her feet and throw a jab/cross combo at the hard camera. }

{“Angry Heart” by Otherwise begins to play throughout the arena and the crowd boos loudly. The entrance ramp is dimly lit and Ryan Shane makes his way out as pyro goes off behind him.}

Alison Valance: Introducing weighing two hundred and ten pounds, from Allen Park, Michigan, Ryan Shane!!!

{Ryan Shane continues toward the ring and slides in under the bottom rope. He gets to his feet and raises his hands in the air as the crowd continues to boo.}

Vasco Dias: I wonder how these two are going to work together?

Terri Morasco: I’m not sure, Ryan doesn’t seem all that interested in playing well with others lately.

Vasco Dias: Especially not with Laura and Oracle lurking around.

{ The referee calls for the bell and Shane starts things off with Dominicus. They go for the tie up but Shane gets around LD quick and drops him with a rear waist lock. }

Vasco Dias: I will say, Shane has been looking great since his return.

Terri Morasco: Better than ever!

{ Shane lightly kicks Dominicus in the back of the head as he starts to get up which angers the bigger man. Lord Dominicus pops back to his feet only to catch a roaring elbow from Ryan Shane and the Southpaw Shuffle! }

Vasco Dias: Shane is just having some fun with Dominicus now!

Terri Morasco: He really needs to focus, this is a big chance for him!

{ Shane grabs Lord Dominicus and hits the Right Nowthern Lights Suplex and makes a hap hazard pin that Lord Dominicus kicks right out of. Kimberly seems very upset in their corner and demands to be tagged in. }

Terri Morasco: Kimberly doesn’t seem to thrilled with the laid back attitude of Ryan Shane tonight.

Vasco Dias: Shane has this match in the bag, just sit back and enjoy the ride.

{ Kimberly steps into the ring and so does Mimi but as she does we see Laura Howlett and The Oracle on the ramp. The Oracle has a chair and makes like he’s going to come down to the ring but Ryan spots them both and takes off up the ramp giving chase to the pair who disappear into the back! }

Terri Morasco: Where the hell is Ryan going!?

Vasco Dias: He’s chasing the Oracle backstage!

{ We cut to the back where Ryan Shane and The Oracle are exchanging fists as referees and other wrestlers try to break them up. The two are pulled apart but still try to keep fighting. }

Terri Morasco: Ryan just left Kimberly all alone in the ring!

{ We cut back to the ring where Kimberly has been working over Mimi in a vacant corner with some chops. Kim throws her out of the corner with a snapmare and hits a running knee to the back of Mimi’s head! }

Vasco Dias: Doesn’t seem to be slowing her down at all!

{ Kimberly pulls Mimi up off the mat and hits her with the KNOCK OUT! Lord Dominicus charges in before Kim can make the cover but Jackson toe kicks him and hits an Ace Plant on Lord Dominicus then pins Mimi Simpson for the three count and the win! }

Terri Morasco: Kimberly Jackson picks up the win for her team but damn, I can’t believe Ryan took off like that.

Vasco Dias: Ryan and Oracle have some bad blood between them that’s going to have to get settled eventually.

{ Kimberly stand victorious in the ring but looks visibly irritated. }

TIB and Rowan McDonnough vs Steve Awesome and Fiona McFly

{ The action was incredibly fast paced for this match. Steve Awesome and TIB were tearing the house down with some high impact maneuvers. It looked like Steve had the match won after hitting a SteveKO but Rowan made the save for her partner and challenged Steve to hit her. Steve instead tagged out to Fiona who was chomping at the bit to get her hands on Rowan. Rowan was momentarily staggered by Fiona’s offense after the hot tag but Rowan eventually came storming back with a Balor’s Gaze. This time it was Steve who broke up the pin and brought Fiona back to his corner for the tag. TIB lit Steve up in the back half of this match and really showed how badly he wants to go all the way but Steve’s experience nearly stole him a pin. Rowan tagged herself back in during a corner exchange. Rowan and Fiona traded blows for an extended period of time before Rowan got the upper hand by superkicking Steve and distracting Fiona. }

Vasco Dias: Rowan with a superkick to Fiona’s partner!

Terri Morasco: Fiona needs to stop checking on Steve and pay attention to Rowan!

{ Fiona is looking over the ropes at Steve who is holding his jaw. When Fiona turns she is caught with a Beast of War followed by an arm trap neckbreaker! Rowan quickly heads to the top rope as Fiona struggles to recover but it’s too late and Rowan hits Life’s Finale and scores the three count to advance her team. }

Rob's words

{ We open on the closing moments of the match between Rob Diamond and Ethan King from the Spike Kane remembrance show for the IWF World Championship set to Slipknot’s “All Out Life.” Ethan King is stumbling on his feet when Rob Diamond leaps into the air and hits the Diamond Cutter! We see the three count from the referee and Rob Diamond clutching the World title in his hands. }

Rob Diamond: Next to discovering I had a daughter, that was the happiest day of my life.

{ We see exclusive footage from after the show went off the air. Rob Diamond kneeling in the ring with tears rolling down his face. Rob rolling out of the ring to celebrate with fans. Steve and James joining him at ringside as the three share a group hug. }

Rob Diamond: Winning the IWF World Championship was the pinnacle of my career. So far.

{ We cut to the following day. Rob Diamond is in the gym and going all out on the treadmill, topping out at nearly ten miles per hour before grabbing the hand rails and jumping off. }

Rob Diamond: Getting to the top of the mountain is hard.

{ Then to Rob doing burpees mixed with fifteen pound dumbells in each hand performing a curl everytime he reaches his feet. }

Rob Diamond: Staying at the top? That’s the real challenge.

{ We see Rob jogging through the wilderness then stopping to grab a fallen tree trunk to perform lunges with it over his shoulders. }

Rob Diamond: I know Elijah Lassiter is no joke. The kid is for real. He’s the future of this business, of this promotion. But is that future now?

{ We transition to Rob in a MMA training camp. He’s inside the cage sparring with a trainer hitting hard kicks and elbow shots as the trainer moves around. }

Rob Diamond: It could be. If I don’t put in the work. If I don’t train harder than I’ve ever trained before. That future will start at Extreme Endurance.

{ Rob hits a hard back elbow and then moves right into some knee strikes. }

Rob Diamond: Thing is, I am putting in the work. I am training harder than I’ve ever trained before. I’ve been in this game a long time, eleven years. I’ve worked my entire IWF career for this championship. The biggest prize in our industry. I’m not about to lose it.

{ Now we see Rob sparring in a wrestling ring. He’s working with some younger men, faster men, all at the same time. They surround him but one by one he fights them off. }

Rob Diamond: I’ve been doing this for ELEVEN YEARS! I’ve worked my ASS OFF for the last SIX YEARS! Elijah is the future but that future isn’t now. It isn’t tomorrow. It isn’t at Extreme Endurance! The future is when I say it is! I earned the right to call myself the best wrestler in the world right now and that isn’t going to change at Extreme Endurance. That isn’t going to change because some plucky young kid won the Heir to the Throne. Elijah, I respect you, I like you but you ain’t the guy to take the World Championship from. Not today. Not tomorrow.

{ We cut to Rob Diamond standing alone in a ring, his surroundings blacked out, the World title over his shoulder. }

Rob Diamond: Not ever.

{ Fade to black as the song comes to an end. }

Caleb Lockwood and Brooklyn Maddrox vs Dean Harper and Mandi Matthews

Alison Valance: The following tag team match is scheduled for one fall!

Terri Morasco: This match will be interesting to be sure.

Vasco Dias: Will Dean Harper support his team mate or his old faction.

Terri Morasco: Dean is called most loyal for a reason.

Vasco Dias: But you saw the segment last week. He was hanging out with Mandi and her kid.

{The lights in the arena fade to black as purple and white strobe lights begin to flitter about the crowd. The frantic strobe effect suddenly stops as "In the Dark" blasts forth from the speakers of the auditorium and all spotlights turn to the top of the ramp to illuminate the figure standing there, eyes closed and head lowered.}

Alison Valance: Making her way to the ring, from Centralia, Pennsylvania - weighing in at 112 pounds ... she is the The Little Bad Wolf, BROOKLYYYYYYYN MAAAAAAADROOOOOOX!

{Brooklyn looks up, a smile on her lips as she begins her walk to the ring. She seems to glide up the ring steps before stepping in to the ring and making her way to the center of the ring. Unhooking the Woman's World title from around her waste she holds it high in the air, grinning at her opponent and refusing to break eye contact.}

Terri Morasco: This is Brooklyn’s return back after Helena gave her a concussion.

Vasco Dias: She looks ready to get into it here.

{A roaring scream pierces the air, and as the crunching guitars of "Rise, Rebel, Resist" play Caleb Lockwood stalks out onto the stage, eyes fixed on the ring as he licks his lips idly. He stalks down to the ring, hands clenching and unclenching as his eyes shift back and forth to scan the crowd. As he approaches the ring, Caleb slides into the ring, rolling to the side and coming up in a crouch. His eyes never stop moving as he backs into the corner of the ring, cracking each of his joints in turn and waiting for the match to start.}

Alison Valance: Next down to the ring, standing at 5’11’ and weighing in at 168 pounds… Caleb Lockwood!

Terri Morasco: This has got to be a tough spot for Caleb to me in. Last time Dean and Caleb were in the ring things did not go so well.

Vasco Dias: sometimes there has to be a loser. Caleb just wanted a leg up. Dean likely understands that. Or he doesn’t…

{Umbrella by All Time Low starts rocking the speakers as Mandi Matthews steps out onto the stage, a bit overwhelmed in a good way by all the people and there warm reception. She jams a bit to the music and then she jogs down to the ring as the chorus plays.}

{She slides into the ring and jams out the song with the crowd as they chant along.}

{The music slowly fades as Mandi smiles at the crowd.}

Alison Valance: And next down to the ring standing at 5’9’’ and 165 pounds… Mandi Matthews!

Vasco Dias: Mandi certainly does look like she got her groove back…

Terri Morasco: don’t start.

{Lights go to black, leaving the arena in dark silence for a few moments before the dark, rhythmic pulses of the beginning of Hand that Feeds by Nine Inch Nails begins to surge through the arena. Lights flash randomly through the arena, and soon flashes of some of the most savage moments of Dean's career flash in flickering effect on the 'tron. Finally, a single white spotlight shines down in the center of the stage, where Dean is crouching as he shifts side to side along with the music, hoodie and leather jacket open to show a bare chest underneath. He smiles up at the camera, eyes alight with a savage mania before he leaps to his feet, the motion bringing a massive flash as every light in the arena flares. He holds that position for a few moments, fist raised in the air before sprinting down to ringside. He leaps up onto the Apron, vaulting over the top rope and flipping into a roll that carries him to the opposite side of the ring, where he catches himself in the ropes and lounges amongst them almost casually, bobbing his head along with the music. With the help of the ropes, he shrugs off the hoodie and jacket before sliding back into the ring, tossing the removed clothing into the crowd. He takes a slow turn, arms wide as he takes in the reaction from the crowd, before cracking his neck and settling into his corner.}

Alison Valance: and last down to the ring standing at 6’2’’ and 200 pounds… Dean Harper!

Terri Morasco: This odd couple pairing has gotten into a very weird place.

Vasco Dias: You have to assume that Dean knows what he is doing.

{Brooklyn and Caleb have a quick conversation, where Brooklyn stands in the ring ready to start. Mandi enters the ring, giving Dean a thumbs up as she gets ready for the bell to ring.}

Terri Morasco: Here we go…

{the ref looks between the two teams and signals for the bell. Brooklyn rushes Mandi but Dean tags himself in.}

Vasco Dias: Uh oh.

Terri Morasco: Already?

{Mandi shrugs her shoulders and goes back to the outside as Dean goes in. Brooklyn pauses looking at Dean, pointing at Mandi but Dean shakes his head no. Brooklyn looks hurt but with the ref’s insistence so goes back to her corner and Caleb enters the ring.}

Terri Morasco: Dean just made this match have to involve him and Caleb. This could have been just like the tag team world cup where he sat on the side lines…

Vasco Dias: I smell a trick.

{Caleb walks over to where Dean is standing, ‘We’re doing this?’}

Vasco Dias: Oh come on, just fight!

Terri Morasco: I don’t like The Pack but I can understand why it might be hard to fight a friend or a brother.

Vasco Dias: spike Kane did it all the time.

Terri Morasco: that’s different and you know it.

{Dean nods.Caleb shakes his head but goes for Dean with a Running somersault neckbreaker but Dean hits him with a Spinning Side Kick to the head, knocking Caleb to the ground. Brooklyn yells, tries to get in the ring but the ref stops her. Dean lifts Caleb up and hits him with a Roll-through Russian legsweep followed by a flipping leg drop.}

Terri Morasco: Oh my god.

{Dean gets Caleb back to his feet and hits him with a Running kneelift into a hangman’s neckbreaker. Dean pushes Caleb into the ropes and his him Repeatedly with knee strikes to Caleb’s midsection}

Terri Morasco: I…I think we are watching something die.

Vasco Dias: Caleb’s not dead yet.

{Dean hits Caleb with a Reality Break. Dean walks back, waiting for Caleb to get up. Brooklyn is yelling and Mandi looks concerned and a little worried.}

Terri Morasco: I can’t believe I’m seeing it.

Vasco Dias: Maybe it’s a trick.

{Dean hits Caleb with a DANCE THE SPIRAL knocking Caleb to the ground. Dean looks at Brooklyn, as she tells him to stop and he shakes his head, putting a foot on Caleb’s chest for the pin.}

Terri Morasco: I don’t think it’s a trick.

{The ref seems a little confused but does the count

Alison Valance: your winners and moving on to the next round of the mixed tag… Mandi Matthews and Dean Harper!

Vasco Dias: Dean Harper betrayed The Pack. We just…That just happened.

Terri Morasco: I’m not sure this is a good sign for anyone.

{As Dean’s theme plays he goes to Mandi and she seems to be checking if he is okay before leading him out of the ring. Brooklyn is at Caleb’s side, shaking him to see if he is okay. The lights go out and then come back on and Rowan is standing in the ring next to Brooklyn and Caleb’s downed body. Dean is at the top of the ramp, he looks at her but follows Mandi out.}

Vasco Dias: Oh that is not a good sign…

The Ace and Kathy Conway vs Candy Kane and Wolf Folder

------------------------------------

{ The lights in the arena dim with the opening chords and then start to flash red, blue and white in rotation as the guitar riff kicks in, joined by the drums. Then the lyrics to "Brotherhood Of Man" by Motorhead begin and the circular steel platform that The Ace is stood upon with his back towards us and the Union Jack Flag draped across his shoulders, begins to turn. The platform is decorated to look like a roulette wheel. Slowly it spins a full one-eighty degrees and we now see The Ace facing us as Kathy Conway is on a single bended knee on the right side of the stage. Cards begin to fall from the rafters. Kathy offers him her hand and The Ace waits a moment before stepping off the platform and grasping the hand of his wife, who is carrying his signature steel rake in her other hand.

The couple proudly walk through the shower of falling cards, hand in hand. At the foot of the ramp, the cards stop falling as the couple share a passionate kiss. The Ace then confidently struts over to the steel steps as Kathy follows. The Ace climbs the steel steps towards the ropes and steps through them he then holds them down for Kathy. He walks over to the adjacent turnbuckle, climbing the second rope. He raises both arms in the air as Kathy stands in the center of the ring cradling the rake. The Ace then climbs down, handing the flag over to a stage hand beforeand he walks to the middle of the ring, the lights return to normal... }

Vasco Dias: IWF’s premiere power couple have returned!

Terri Morasco: And of course you’re excited about that.

Vasco Dias: Who wouldn’t be!?

Terri Morasco: Certainly not the crowd here tonight.

Vasco Dias: What do these idiots know about true love!?

{ Ace and Kathy stand in the center of the ring hand in hand as the crowd boos them. Ace turns to his lovely wife and cradles her head as the two begin to passionately kiss. }

Terri Morasco: This again!?

Vasco Dias: Be quiet!

{ The crowd gets louder as the kissing increasing in passion, the two seeming to enjoy the hatred that is pouring out toward them. Wolf and Candy watch in confusion as the lovers continue their embrace. }

Terri Morasco: Do they plan on wrestling tonight!?

Vasco Dias: BE QUIET! This is magical! It’s not everyday you see love like this right before your eyes!

{ Wolf and Candy have had enough as they walk over to the Conways, Wolf grabbing Ace, Candy grabbing Kathy but the power couple break out of the kiss for stereo kicks to their opponents midsection! Ace and Kathy hook their opponents up and STEREO ACE PLANTS!!! The referee calls for the bell as both Conways make the pin and it’s ONE! TWO! THREE!!!! }

Vasco Dias: LOVE PREVAILS!!!!

Terri Morasco: I think that may well be the quickest match in the history of IWF.

Vasco Dias: That is the true power of love, Terri. Nothing can overcome it.
