{The introductory video montage for Game On plays, showing numerous highlights from the most recent episode IWF: High Stakes! PREDICTION RESULTS
Weekly:
5-3
Seth Evans: This week, there were a few people that did not… exactly… live up to their hype. But it happens to the best of us! We’re so excited to get out to the ring and demonstrate our ability, that we just psych ourselves out, and I would like to think that’s what happened, and we’ll see them come back stronger in the following weeks. And then Mandi was a triple homicide, but I wasn’t wrong: Tara still won. So… it counts. It counts, damn it! But let’s focus on the bit that I also said no titles would change hands at High Stakes, and what happened? NO TITLES CHANGED HANDS AT HIGH STAKES!
Overall:
30-13
Seth Evans: I’m still rather pleased with those tallies.
Weekly Top 5
Five:
Abraxes
Reasoning: The reason that I chose Abraxes for my number five spot for the week is pulling double-duty. He fought Angel and Dean Harper for the IWF World Tag Team Championships earlier in the night, and then went into the Roulette where he had a strong performance! He eliminated ten people! No doubt, he earned the top five.
Four:
Cals Jacobsen
Reasoning: Cals Jacobsen is moving up to the number four as successfully defending the IWF Imperial Diamond Championship, against Vivienne who has been rather strong since becoming the number one contender! Cals proves not to be a paper champion with a successful defense.
Three:
Ulf Hednir
Reasoning: The reason that Ulf is down to number three this week, of course with the other ahead of him… but he did finally tack on a loss to Xavier Zion, the first one-on-one loss that Xavier has suffered in the IWF after having such a strong debut! Ulf is now one win away from having ten wins in a row in the IWF, which is pretty astounding in itself. Too bad he won’t get it when he faces me! Anyway, he did also perform well in the Roulette where it took a great number of people teaming up against him… that target was definitely on his back, and they took him out quickly. And probably a good thing, because I think between him and Abraxes, they’d both have been double-digits if they didn’t take him out as quickly as they did.
Two:
The Powers That Be
Reasoning: The Powers That Be earn the number two spot by successfully retaining their belts in what was an instant classic! They showed that they are not to be trifled with because they did what they needed to do… they showed they were willing to do anything and everything to walk out with the win, and that is exactly what they did.
One:
Evan “Thunderchild” Albrecht
Reasoning: Coming in at the number one spot this week is EVAN ALBRECHT! A huge shoutout, a huge congratulations, to Evan “Thunderchild” Albrecht who has had a few failed attempts at the IWF World Television Championship, only to answer by WINNING THE ROULETTE, and earning a chance at the IWF WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP! Evan is on his way to bigger and better things, and he earned this.
Clutch Play of the Week
Seth Evans: There were quite a lot of plays happening at High Stakes… some moves of desperation.
Seth Evans: Some that sent a message...
Seth Evans: And some back and forth action!
Seth Evans: But this week goes to…
Seth Evans: It is hard not to give the Clutch Play of the Week on the week of High Stakes to a man who eliminated three people with one spear!
IWF WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP LADDER MATCH
Gods and Monsters vs Powers that Be(c)
IMPERIAL DIAMOND CHAMPIONSHIP
Writing challenge: Straight Trash Promo
Cals Jacobsen (c) vs Vivienne Rodgers
Seth Evans: I had to give a tie between Gods & Monsters versus Powers That Be, and Cals Jacobsen versus Vivienne Rodgers. Both of them were just so close! So evenly matched!
POWER 10
Locke and Caleb Lockwood: Locke for battling in Tag Team Title Match to a losing effort, but still good effort; then ending in the top three of the Roulette. Caleb Lockwood for being the runner-up of the Roulette.
Nick Danger: Good fight. Took the fight to Warren Kane. Was not afraid to battle the World Champion.
Vivienne Rodgers: Vivienne Rodgers is still a strong foe, and she will be back battling either Cal Jacobsen, or even Tara in the near future! She should take that loss with a grain of salt, and know that that match could have gone either way.
Abraxes: Abraxes comes onto the spot in a solo spot because of what he did in the Roulette, after what happened to him in the Ladder Match! That man is truly a monster.
The Powers That Be: They said that they were going to win, and that is what they did. I think that they will move further up this list as the time goes if they continue dominating credible teams, and I think that’s going to be their next agenda. But then again… do they really have anything to prove?
Tara Fenix: It is true that Tara did get her first successful title defense, but she was supposed to face Mandi… but she didn’t get Mandi. Many people are asking where the hell Mandi came from to earn the shot, but the fact of the matter is that she has endured some pain and would have been more than credible to face Tara! But then… she wasn’t there? I’m sure we’ll hear all about that. Tara still got her defense, though.
Cals Jacobsen: A successful title defense in what was a tie for match of the week! Cals Jacobsen proved that Cals is not going to lose that belt quite so easily, and can face people that are on fire to keep it from switching hands.
Warren Kane: Warren moves back up the list with a successful title defense over Nick Danger, which is another thing that we are asking… where the hell did Nick Danger come from? How did he get a shot? Simply put, he asked. And Warren proves that he will take any and all comers, and win.
Ulf Hednir: Ulf Hednir did finally lose his number one spot on the Power 10, and it was hard! Because of how consistent he has been, but he does move down this week on account of the Roulette… it’s hard not to give that number one spot to the winner there, but Ulf is still a fighting champion! And he is one win away from a ten-match winning streak! But without further ado, your number one spot...
Evan “Thunderchild” Albrecht: The winner of the Roulette! The fans were looking at people like Ulf, people like Dean, people like Abraxes, Locke, even Steve Awesome returning! But Thunderchild silences all of them and shocks everyone with getting the victory, and earning a shot at Warren Kane for the World Championship!
HONORABLE MENTIONS: Nick Danger, Tytus Rost
Seth Evans: We are going to skip the Game Genie section of this week. I must apologize for that… but I will think of someone next week that will shock everyone, and make everyone say: YES!
Predictions:
SINGLES MATCH
"Kawaii Kaiju" Dakota Bowman vs Crystal
My prediction is… “KAWAII KAIJU” DAKOTA BOWMAN.
Reasoning: Let’s see… Godzilla vs. Kong just released in theaters, and HBO Max, and there’s no doubt that Dakota Bowman has already seen it at least a dozen times, and so she is fired up! It’d be hard for anyone to beat her. This would have been the perfect week for her to battle for a championship. But I think that momentum is going to carry her forward for at least the next couple weeks.
SINGLES MATCH
Abigail vs Amber Cooke
My prediction is… AMBER COOKE.
Reasoning: This is going to be an absolute tough one, and I’m going to say a shoe-in for potential Match of the Week, so gamers! Be ready to tune in to Twitch or YouTube to see Before the Sacrifice, because this is one that you are not going to want to miss. Amber Cooke has been coming up short as of late, and I guarantee it’s burning Amber! She doesn't want to take another loss! She’s going to go out there like we’ve never seen her before, and it’s not going to be easy for her… because look at her opponent. Abigail. Abigail has proven herself time, after time, after time, and so that’s why it’s hard for me to vote against her… but I think Amber is just hungrier this week.
SINGLES MATCH
Vivienne Rodgers vs Samira Hamilton
My prediction is… VIVIENNE RODGERS.
Reasoning: Vivienne had a solid effort against Cals Jacobsen! It was not enough to win the championship, but it was enough to keep all eyes on her. She is going to want to bounce back after that, and I’m sure she’s going to want another crack at either Cals Jacobsen, or even at Tara Fenix.
TAG TEAM MATCH
Those Damn Gaijin vs "Local Talent" The Broadside Brothers (Jeffrey and Goffrey)
My prediction is… THOSE DAMN GAIJIN.
Reasoning: I’ve said it before about them, and I will say it again: two former World Champions. Let’s also keep in mind that both men also won the Roulette! Andrew Jacobsen in 2017, and Ethan King in 2019. Jeffrey and Goffrey are debuting in the IWF, looking to make a break in this business… but it’s not going to be so hot for them at Sacrifice.
SINGLES MATCH
1K RP WORD LIMIT
Almir Sayed vs Grave Roberts
My prediction is… ALMIR SAYED.
Reasoning: The guy has the ability to do a lot in the ring. He almost took the IWF World Television Championship away from Ulf Hednir a couple weeks ago, but came up just short! Almir is looking to get some momentum going forward, and I think he’s going to do just that this week.
SINGLES MATCH
1K RP WORD LIMIT
Nick Danger vs Phillip Deforrest
My prediction is… NICK DANGER.
Reasoning: Nick Danger is coming off a loss in what was a great effort to go after the World Championship! He took to Twitter to challenge Warren Kane, but was not able to secure the victory. He is wanting to stay in the picture by earning this victory!
SINGLES MATCH
1K RP WORD LIMIT
Caleb Lockwood vs Nate Fate
My prediction is… CALEB LOCKWOOD.
Reasoning: Caleb was the runner-up to the Roulette, and the most recent former World Champion… Nate Fate, like his partner, is biting off a bit more than he can chew with this match, and that does not take anything away from his heart! But Caleb doesn’t care about that. Caleb is looking to get some vengeance after coming up just short of winning the Roulette.
STREET FIGHT
Nick Knight vs Steve Awesome
My prediction is… STEVE AWESOME.
Reasoning: You do not make your huge return at the Roulette to not win your first match back, and it’s against someone the caliber of Nick Knight; a former IWF World Television Champion, but Steve Awesome is far from a slouch! He is a former IWF World Champion, and he has been a World Champion every place he has laced his boots. This man does not slow down. Steve Awesome takes it.
IWF WORLD TELEVISION CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
1K RP WORD LIMIT
Seth Evans vs Ulf Hednir(c)
My prediction is… SETH EVANS.
Reasoning: Why am I going to bet against myself? I’ve been counting on Ulf to retain the belt up to this moment, where I will finally conquer!
INTERVIEW
I wasn’t able to get the graphic done this week. I’m sorry.
Seth Evans: Alright, gamers! My guest tonight is the former IWF Women’s World Champion, Abigail! So… without further ado… here she is!
{Abigail walks out onto the set, a red spider lily in her hair on the left side and in a simple black mini dress with red eyeshadow, lips and nails. She smiles towards the camera and then towards Seth before shaking his hand and sitting down. The two are seated now in their respective chairs.}
Seth Evans: Welcome to Game On, Abigail, and thank you for taking the time to come to the show…
Abigail: My pleasure, Seth. Thanks for havin’ me.
Seth Evans: The first question that I must ask is… what is your preferred gaming device? PC, Xbox, Playstation, or Switch?
Abigail: PlayStation, although switch, even mobile can be useful ta relieve stress on the road too.
Seth Evans: Are there any particular games you prefer to play? Single-player, multiplayer? Any series that drew you to the Sony road. The Last of Us? God of War? Sony is known for their exclusives, which I will always admit that in the console war, they do have that edge. But yeah, Nintendo is also great! They have the classic characters everybody wishes would be released to other consoles, but never will… not to mention the most recent Nintendo World at Universal in Japan. We’ll have to visit when we get closer there on tour.
Abigail: Yeah, Sony have some great exclusives, as somebody with a bit of a soft spot for mythology in general, God of War is a favourite, as is Horizon Zero Dawn. Nintendo have some downright iconic characters, but I think the best thing on my switch is the ability to play the Witcher 3.
Seth Evans: I’ve yet to play Horizon Zero Dawn, actually. I’ve heard good things. I’ve seen good things. I’m just always caught up with some of my competitive games… {Seth chuckles.} But The Witcher 3 is one of the best! Have you watched the series on Netflix yet?
Abigail: I’m lookin’ forward ta the sequel, Forbidden West. And yeah, I’ve seen it, Cavill was an inspired choice ta play the lead.
Seth Evans: He is a bit of a godsend to the nerd culture. But you seem to be up there with numerous activities showing your support for numerous things... are there any particular ones that stand out to you that got you started with activism?
Abigail: It’s true, there are some causes I’m more passionate an’ relate more personally to than others based purely on life experience. I didn’t always accept most of the things I went through or even really myself up until a few years ago. With that heartfelt acceptance of self came a realisation that I could make a difference every single day of my life, even through somethin’ as simple as a retweet. Social media is a wonderful tool if ya know how ta harness its power an’ reach properly. Through it, I remind other survivors an’ myself that each day is special an’ that as long as we’re still breathin’, we have a purpose an’ a responsibility ta this world ta do our part an’ make it better. Like any journey though, it takes time an’ effort. I’m most passionate about LGBTQ+ issues, mental health, suicide prevention an’ child abuse causes ‘cause these are things that have personally touched me throughout my life ta varying degrees an’ left such a deep an’ profound impact on me as a result that ta deny it as I once did is ta deny myself. I’m a firm believer that the things ya do best in life come from the heart. Ta get the best out of life ya have ta stay true to yourself, absolutely.
Seth Evans: I do admire what you share, even if I tend to be a quiet observer. I guess we should dive into some questions pertaining to wrestling... you are a former Women's World Champion, and you held that title for such a long time. When you won it, what did it mean for you?
Abigail: It felt like the fulfilment of a personal journey, honestly. A lot of people never expected somebody like me who had been put out by a force of nature like Rowan MacDonnough three years ago ta return at all, much less ta do it in such a definitive way as ta beat the World Champion, two time Iron Maiden, Fiona McFly, in only my fourth match back.
Seth Evans: It was impressive. And you did have a good run with the title, and defended it quite well against all comers! Fulfillment of a journey, but did you feel that it put any pressure on you? Like all eyes were now on you. You had the biggest target on your back.
Abigail: Oh absolutely. Ya always feel the pressure of somethin’ like that, not ta mention some of the resentment from colleagues who have never quite managed ta break the glass ceilin’ for themselves. There were the obvious whispers, that I was only gettin’ the rocket strapped ta my back ‘cause of some sort of compensation for what happened ta Spike, but fuck that. I earned every single damned day I was blessed ta call myself the World Champ an’ I’m not about ta let ANYBODY undermine my accomplishments, especially in not such a fuckin’ insultin’ way, ya know?
Seth Evans: Well, as I said, you had a good run and defended it against any and all comers. Do you think that you may have silenced many of the naysayers by your success as champion?
Abigail: Not as many as I’d like, but I suppose that’s just the nature of the business, ain’t it? You will always meet people who know nothin’ else but ta criticise an’ judge. Hell, ya know all about that yourself, I bet.
Seth Evans: I’ve had my fair share of people but I blame myself for that. If I felt I was needed elsewhere, I had to be there. Ya know?
Abigail: Sure, {Abigail nods, and smiles.} I’ve been there myself on occasion.
Seth Evans: Just more important matters at stake at times, that’s all. But let’s go ahead and dive back into these questions, and so we will go a little into your title run again... a lot of great defenses, but you clearly knew who Tara was — how did you feel stepping into the ring with her? Just another day? Just wondering if you got the same jitters with her that I got when I went into the ring with Angel.
Abigail: Of course, I knew who Tara is. A lot of people like to use the word pioneer, but she actually is. She’s had an incredible career, spanning decades. I wasn’t as nervous as I was excited. It felt like another opportunity ta prove myself against one of the all time greats, to really show the world I could hang with the very best not only in this company, but in the entire industry. I think I did that.
Seth Evans: I would say you definitely proved it when you did. But do you have any intent on going after her for the championship? Purely business, of course. Or is there anyone you would wish to go against this moment? Or just going with whoever Roberto gives you?
Abigail: Of course, the ambition is always there. There is no doubt in my mind that Tara and I will meet again in the ring, it ain’t a question of if, but when. I think management know there’s money left on the table for another encounter down the road, especially as I was never involved in the decision to lose the title. It’s out of my hands for the moment, but when I am blessed with another opportunity, ya can bet I’m gonna do everything I can ta seize it. Until then, I’m willin’ ta do business and prove that I am worthy of that opportunity, one match at a time.
Seth Evans: I’m sure I speak for everyone when I say we are looking forward to the one-on-one encounter. Is there any particular person you would like to get your hands on? Not necessarily because they wronged you, but just someone to challenge your toughness? Push your limits?
Abigail: A dream match from IWF would be Jess Reed, but if we’re gonna go back in history a bit, I think it would be cool ta test myself against other pioneers in the business, both obvious like Zelda Knite, an’the underrated like Emma Danielson. The latter had a hand in my IWF trainin’ so it’d be fun I think.
Seth Evans: It is always nice to face the veterans of old. One thing since last week that I really liked to ask, so I’ll ask you this week: what made you choose your theme song? What stood out to you that made you feel it represented you?
Abigail: Sometimes I feel that nobody needs ta be reminded more than myself just how far I’ve come in life. Reminded that in spite of everythin’ I made it, not only in my career but in my life ya know? For me, it’s more than an entrance theme, it’s a survivor’s anthem. I resonated with it immediately after it was recommended ta me. Now every time I come down the ramp I remind not only the world but also myself that I’m not dead an’ the journey of my life is not over.
Seth Evans: I’ve never heard it that way, but that is the beauty of music is that we all do have our own interpretation of music received. Next time, I’ll have to give it a listen. One last question before we move on to the fan questions: why did you pick your finishing move as you did? Explosive? Just landed it better? What stuck out to you in choosing that to me your stamp in the ring?
Abigail: Honestly, I feel like Blind Faith can hit you out of nowhere an’ quite quickly. It has a flow to it that is versatile I find, ya can either milk it for the crowd or just spin an unsuspectin’ opponent inta it for much the same impact.
Seth Evans: It does hit people, and has a good success rate on ending the matches. But let’s go ahead and move on to fan questions! Fan question: was it hard learning who your biological family was?
Abigail: In a word, yes. The whole thing was a shock ta the system initially, especially with the complications of stolen identity with my biological cousin thrown in as well. I didn’t know quite how ta handle it, an’ I certainly didn’t handle as well as I could have at first. But now I know better, now I know that I am so much more than my biology.
Seth Evans: The next question is from another anonymous fan… Fan question: You do a lot of activism on twitter, have you always cared about those causes or is it something new to being in the public eye?
Abigail: I have always cared. Obviously some causes hit closer ta home than others for me personally but I try ta put as much good out inta the world as I can. When I was workin’ my way up in IWF Devo under the guidance of people like Spike an’ Emma, I didn’t quite realise the tremendous power I could harness ta make a difference through the global reach of this company. Now I do, an’ so I do whatever I can ta raise awareness of as many of society’s overlooked problems as I can. It fills me with a tremendous sense of pride an’ purpose ta do so an’ Roberto Verona has been incredibly supportive this whole time an’ I cannot thank him enough for finally lettin’ me be more of myself out there this time around than I was when I was still not sure exactly who I wanted to be in my first few years in this company.
Seth Evans: The next question… Fan question: Was it hard being the only girl in a house full of boys?
Abigail: At first, absolutely. It was an incredibly long adjustment period for both sides I think, but now...I couldn’t ask for a better or more real family than my beloved Ma, Pa an’ Spencer brothers. I hope they are proud of me, not only for what I have done in this business, but for what I will do in the future for however long I’m lucky enough ta still do this.
Seth Evans: Ooh, a repeat question. Next one from abigail69: If you could pick one person to have a match with who would it be?
Abigail: Before Diamonds Are Forever last year, I would have said Eternity, but now, I think I would like ta definitively settle the score with Rowan one day one on one. Something about that whole thing still feels unfinished. As for matches I haven’t had that would be dream matches for me here in IWF, I feel like Tara would be the obvious answer for obvious reasons, ta see what we could really do one on one, but also I would love ta match up one day with the original architect of the IWF Women’s Division as we know it today, Jessica Reed.
Seth Evans: There are a lot of good options out there. The next question comes from WeCare4YourMentalHealth: IWF has, in the past, been accused of not supporting the mental health of their employees. As someone who advocates for mental health awareness, what have you seen?
Abigail: I am aware of the little controversies an’ conspiracy theories that edgy fans, disgruntled employees graspin’ at straws an’ even edgier wrestlin’ journalists try ta peddle on the internet for click bait views ta their little blogs try ta peddle. I don’t pay ‘em much mind ‘cause that’s all it is, click bait. I may be many things ta many people but one thing I certainly am not is a hypocrite. If I genuinely felt workin’ with IWF undermined the conviction of my personal philosophies in life, as the company not prioritising the physical an’ mental well being of each an’ every single one of it’s employees would, I would be out the door tomorrow. I wouldn’t even blink or look back ‘cause nothin’ is worth tradin’ my heart an’ soul for, certainly not this job or the steady pay check it provides. I stand by my convictions, absolutely. Always have, always will.
Seth Evans: Next question from KnightsofKanes: As a woman of "two families" (Spensers and Kanes - respectivley) Has there been any regrets over how things have turned out?
Abigail: Honestly? My deepest regret as it pertains ta the truth of my lineage is that I rediscovered that I was a full blooded Kane at all. Somewhere along the way when I was very young I had forgotten or shut it out for good reason as I was bounced around an inadequate welfare system, an’ lookin’ back I can’t help but feel that was probably for the best. I could have gone my whole life without ever knowin’ that an’ I would probably be happier. I hurt my real family with my eagerness ta embrace my birthright once, I will never do that again. If I could go back and undo the hurt I caused Ma an’ Pa, I would, but I can’t. I just hope they can forgive me, an’ I hope one day I can restore not only their faith in me, but my faith in myself.
Seth Evans: I’ve learned that it’s best not to wait for forgiveness. Those that know you have changed will see it, those that refuse to see it won’t. It’s all perspective. All you can do is be better, and all they can do is accept it or not. The next question comes from TaraMistress6996: Do you consider yourselves a role model?
Abigail: Honestly? That doesn’t feel right for me ta decide. If I inspire my fans or anybody else who watches me, then great. If they want ta see me as a role model, then that means more ta me personally than ta try an’ tell people I am one.
Seth Evans: There’s no doubt that you’ve inspired people around the world. The next question comes from RowanTheTrueGoddess: Who is the best wrestler you faced, and explain why?
Abigail: {Slightly hesitant, a small giggle.} Oh boy, I suppose the answer is obvious ta this one, but the best wrestler I’ve faced, especially since my return, is...Eternity. As for why? She truly is the ultimate test in that ring, not just physically but also psychologically. Nobody I’ve met before or since knows how ta play the game any better. It’s somethin’ I deeply admire an’ I would relish the chance ta wrestle her again, if I were lucky enough ta earn another opportunity. There’s a reason why for my money, she’s still the ultimate measurin’ stick in this company.
Seth Evans: Fan question from GoGoZilla: As one of the most successful women's champions in history, do you feel you need to do anything differently to reclaim the title one day?
Abigail: There is always room for improvement. It’s far too easy ta get complacent when you’ve achieved so much so quickly, so I try not to. I’ve been blessed ta have the kind of career resurgence that I’ve had, an’ I hope ta have it continue. There’s also somethin’ ta be said for not fixin’ somethin’ that ain’t broken, so I’d say it’s a fine balancin’ act. The results of what I’ve been doin’ speak for themselves, but there is always somethin’ ta learn for the next time I reach the mountain top, an’ there will be a next time, all things bein’ equal.
Seth Evans: Next question. Fan question from FadedJade: What do you want your legacy to be: great superstar or prominent activist, if it could only be one?
Abigail: Thats a lot easier ta answer than some might expect. If I could choose ta be remembered for just one thing, it would be havin’ made a difference in the world. There is an incredible power an’ immense satisfaction ta be had from knowin’ you’ve done good for someone. If ya have the means an’ the opportunity ta help someone, even if it’s only one person, ya should do it, absolutely an’ without hesitation. In a world where it’s far too easy ta let ourselves become divided, we should strive ta be better. We should strive ta come together for the greater good, especially in our darkest hours. My career is just that, a career, it has a beginnin’ an’ an end, but my humanity, that is eternal. My spirit is everlastin’...that is what I wannabe remembered for.
Seth Evans: This next one is a good one. Fan question from MediumKev: If you had faced Tara one-on-one instead of in a triple threat, do you think you'd still be champion today?
Abigail: I try not ta get too caught up in the what ifs of my life an’ career these days. The best I can do is ta play the hand I’m dealt in any given moment, but given that I was never involved in the decision ta lose my title, it’s a fascinatin’ what if scenario ta think about, ain’t it? Maybe one day, we’ll have that question answered definitively when I’ve worked my way back up the ladder, if Tara is still champion by then.
Seth Evans: And the last question. Fan question: you’ve been around the company for a long time. In your opinion who is a wrestler you haven’t yet faced that you would like to square off against?
Abigail: Looks like some of the fans had the same idea as you. I already answered this, but since the fan took the time specifically to ask, I would like to test myself most against Jessica Reed in this company.
Seth Evans: Well, I do thank you for taking the time to come to the show. That is all the time that we have for tonight!
Abigail: Thanks for havin’ me on. It was a pleasure.
Seth Evans: It was a rollercoaster, folks! But thank you for tuning! And until next week, gamers: GAME ON!
{Scene ends.}

Four:

Evan is on his way to bigger and better things, and he earned this.
Clutch Play of the Week
Seth Evans: There were quite a lot of plays happening at High Stakes… some moves of desperation.
{Zion climbs up to the second rope and looks behind him as he is trying to call for the super belly-to-belly suplex… The crowd is anticipating Zion to take Ulf down with the super belly-to-belly; he seems to struggle trying to sail him over… and just as Ulf seems to be coming-to, and trying to shift the momentum back in his favor, Zion lands it! SUPER BELLY-TO-BELLY!}
Seth Evans: Some that sent a message...
{Dean Harper hooks both of Abraxes’s arms as Angel has him caught, and musters the strength to lift Abraxes on top of the ladder and drops him down and through the table with Clipped Wings!}
Seth Evans: And some back and forth action!
{Zion sighs, but stands up to his feet and starts calling for Ulf to get up… he waves his arm… daring him, and challenging him to get up to his feet; Ulf rolls over onto his stomach, and finally up to his feet… just as Zion snaps forward to aim for the Zuperkick! Ulf ducks! Ulf rebounds off the ropes just as Zion turns around, and leaps up connecting with The Thor Punch!}
Seth Evans: But this week goes to…
{Abraxes sets himself up on the ropes, looking between where Jayson and Tytus are fighting and where Fateful Danger and Todd Williams are going at it. Adel and Abraxes make eye contact, Adel bows his head before grabbing onto Nate Fate. Abraxes bounces with a slingshot spear and knocks all the men in the tangle off the apron.}
{Abigail walks out onto the set, a red spider lily in her hair on the left side and in a simple black mini dress with red eyeshadow, lips and nails. She smiles towards the camera and then towards Seth before shaking his hand and sitting down. The two are seated now in their respective chairs.}
{Scene ends.}
