There were highlights of the two fighters making their entrance to the octagon: Ulf Hednir was the first one to enter the octagon surrounded by his training camp, which included JC Keeton, Virginia Stepanov, and Xavier Cross; the angle transitioned to show friends of Ulf’s sitting near the front row, directly behind the commentators, as they cheered for their fighter. Hailing from Odda, Norway. The second one to enter matched Ulf in size, just a hair shorter, but equally wider; hailing from Paris, France was Pierre Jaque. As soon as both men were in the octagon and prepared to start, the door was shut and the referee explained the rules briefly. They touched gloves and went to their corners.
ROUND ONE!
Ulf and Pierre closed their distance toward the middle of the octagon, neither man wanting to give up the center; they touched gloves one more time and were already studying each other to search for an opening. Pierre took the first swing, but Ulf ducked and aimed for a haymaker of his own; Pierre deflected the punch, but Ulf followed with a knee that found its mark in his gut. Pierre absorbed the shot and brought his arms to defend whilst Ulf began throwing precise strikes to search for an opening but Pierre’s defense was proving to be too much. Ulf increased the distance between himself and Pierre, wisely knowing that he had the reach advantage, as Pierre tried to keep the distance close. Ulf did not want to give up the center.
Pierre zoned in on Ulf, and connected with one good punch; surprisingly, the punch seemed to only leave a reddening mark and not actually cause him to bleed, but Ulf was able to deflect the next part of the onslaught but was being battled back away from the center and against the cage. Pierre attempted a clinch, and tried to suplex Ulf over, but Ulf is able to defend and keep himself standing. Ulf delivers a few shoulder thrusts forward to Pierre’s jaw which seem to be taking a quick toll on him… Pierre was unable to defend himself. Pierre broke the clinch and backed toward the center of the octagon, raising his hands to defend himself, as Ulf swung for a roundhouse kick at his head! Pierre was too slow to get his hand to his head and Ulf hits his mark, and Pierre goes down like a sack of potatoes, but Ulf is relentless as he charges forward before the referee signals the bout to be over!

POST FIGHT!
Ulf rushes to the octagon and leaps to the top; he sits on the wall while throwing his arms up in triumph, and can be heard shouting something as a nearby camera zooms in on him, and he points to himself whilst speaking: “JEG! DO NOT! BLEED! JEG DO NOT BLEED!” he said, specifically pointing to the red mark where Pierre had struck him quite well, but still did not bust him open.
Both training camps went into the octagon to join their fighters, as they checked Pierre to ensure he was okay. Pierre nodded his head in answer to their questions, then joined Ulf in the center of the ring as the referee was waiting for the announcer to make the call. Both of them wore their sponsored attire.
Announcer:
The referee has called a stop to the bout at three minutes, seventeen seconds, in the very first round! And your winner, by knock-out: ULF! HEDNIR!

Ulf shook hands with Pierre, and gave him a hug, while giving him inaudible words of encouragement to keep fighting and assuring him he’s a good fighter, and that Ulf got lucky with that opening. The camera crew and interviewers rushed toward Ulf as he had his arm raised, to get a word with the winner.
Interviewer:
Ulf! Wow! You defeated Pierre quickly and decisively tonight, and-- you don’t look like you broke a sweat… What were you thinking when you connected with that roundhouse kick?
Ulf Hednir:
Well, jeg did not know det jeg ville get such an opening! Pierre-- he is a great fighter, absolutely astounding, but der er times det vi just get lucky. He let his guard down at de wrong moment og was just not quick enough to dodge or deflect my attack, so… jeg got a lucky hit, det is all. Jeg never come into de octagon og assume det min opponent kan not defeat me. Pierre og min selv vil see each other in de future, og jeg er certain det he will give a much better performance. It was just one of those nights. Vi had a game plan-- min camp og min selv-- og we saw it to perfection.
Interviewer:
Absolutely, absolutely! You just knocked him off a five fight winning streak, but… with how quick you ended this, when can we expect to see you back in the octagon? We know that you are the current IWF Television Champion, and they are keeping you busy, but you are still undefeated here-- are you going to retire from MMA to focus on wrestling?

Ulf Hednir:
Nei, nei. Absolutely nei. Jeg vil not retire from MMA until de day comes det jeg kan not step into de octagon, og jeg er only tjuefem. Det is twenty-five. Jeg ha a long career ahead of meg. Min manager was discussing with me getting me a fight as early as next month, og truth be told, jeg er still fresh! Jeg vil gladly accept a fight as early as next week!

That’s a little short notice. Do you think you could really be ready that early?

Ulf Hednir:
Jeg er always ready!
Jeg er always ready!
Ulf said with a slight chuckle.
Interviewer:
Well, congratulations on your win! You earned it!

The interviewer continues a closing speech, and Ulf pats him on the shoulder a few times before joining his training camp as they pose for several pictures. They then leave the octagon. He walks by the commentators and even shakes their hands as they are congratulating him on his victory, but he primarily goes to the friends sitting behind them that were cheering him on. They take several photos with each other.
