I know what you want Sephiroth. You don’t just want this awesome looking, shiny, silver belt around my waist…you want what comes with it. You want to have the notoriety, the fame, the glory that comes with it. You don’t care that this belt means more than that. You don’t care that it symbolizes the fact that you’re the best technical wrestler in this organization.
It’s funny that you’re sick of something du Lac, because I am too. I’m sick of people coming in to the IWF from other organizations thinking that because they were top dogs there, they can just be ones here. That’s not the case you night-walking sick freeeeak.
The IWF is a collection of the biggest and brightest stars in the wrestling business today. The disrespect you outsiders show to us who have been here day in and day out pisses me off to no end. You think because you were a champion in other places you can just waltz in here and it would remain status quo.
Do you know how I know this Sephiroth? I know this because I felt the same way. I came from other federations where I was the top person in the company, but then I came here. The culture shock here was amazing. I thought that no matter the number of losses I could just bounce back and be the best, and I was wrong. So like you should, I started from the bottom and worked my way up. I made my name known again as I scratched and clawed my way to right now, this Man of Steel Championship and I’ll be damned if I let someone take this away from me so soon.
This match is a culmination of all my work so far Sephiroth. Some would think that I would have come to that culmination when winning this belt last month but that is but the second to last step. Danger Zone is about the end result. It’s a shot to prove that me winning this belt was no fluke and that I can take on the best of the best this company has to offer.
Seph, this belt is a symbol of technical prowess, but what we do in that ring will be so much more brutal. You tried to make this about you. The mind games, the stipulation, all of it was about you. The end game here is about you collecting another title. The end game, though you profess over and over that your name is known, is to reinvigorate that name to the masses. You want them to know who you are again. You want them to understand that Sephiroth du Lac is a massive success and you want them to experience that live rather than by lore and rumors.
The time for head-games is over Seph and when the dust settles, you won’t be known as a success, you’ll be the first in a long line of defeats. You’ll be my first title defense. You’ll be my vindication proving once and for all that I can not only win the big match, but retain my title as well.
That is the ultimate victory. To win a title can be a fluke as I’ve said anyone here can beat anyone on any given night. To validate that title win with a defense makes the reign that much more precious. So, that being said, Sephiroth du Lac, I thank you for helping me validate my Man of Steel Title Reign.

Title: The Reveal
Location: The Desert outside Las Vegas, Nevada
Time: 10:45 AM Local Time
I was frantic, paranoid even. I didn’t know what was going on. The cops just told me to get in the car and follow them. We rushed to the desert and as we transferred from city to desert, the dirt kicked up around our car. We took about an hour drive and four cars pulled up along a dirty, dark brown, wooden shack. It looked abandon aside from the large, navy blue van parked beside it. There were no windows and we couldn’t see inside. I was told to stay behind the car as means of protection. I listened as the police yelled over the horn at the people inside and in the moment, someone started shooting causing me to duck down behind the car. Shots rained out all around.
Detective Detective Bradley: GET DOWN!
Gun shots rang out again and as I peeked over the hood of the car and watched a series of cops give chase. I started to creep out from behind the car and make my way toward the front door. Shots rang out again which caused me to rush toward the wall and stiffen up against it.
When the shots cleared I reached out and pulled the door open and braced myself for whatever would come next. There was nothing. Only silence as I peered in and looked around. Before I could say anything a bruised up Alexis charged at me and nearly took me down with a strong embrace. There was a cut over her eyebrow that bled on my shirt, but who the hell cares, I had found her. I found her and I was never letting go again.
I could feel her take comfort as she nuzzled up against me, her grip strong as can be. She was shaking but it began to calm as she spent more time in my arms. I led her to the EMTs to check her out. After they cleaned her up she jumped into my arms again and didn’t want to let go. The moment was interrupted by Detective Bradley.
Detective Bradley: I hate to break the moment, miss?
Alexis didn’t respond at first. I didn’t know if she didn’t hear him or was just so absorbed in the moment that she ignored him. She turned her face in my chest and focused her look upon him.
Detective Bradley: Were there only two miss?
She nodded up and down and he nodded back.
Detective Bradley: The assailants have been shot and killed. Would you like to I.D. them?
We agreed and we were taken to the bodies. They laid side by side, killed together, just as they had schemed all of this together. I watched as one of the cops kneeled down and removed the ski masks from their face, first was the guy whose black hair fell out of his face. I recognized him instantly and I could feel my face heating up as I’m sure I was beat red. The anger inside consumed me as I stared down at Caleb Martinez.
Mike Laszlo: His name is Caleb Martinez.
I felt Alexis look up as I looked down at her.
Alexis Caffrey: How do you know him?
My nostrils flared as I stared down at his cooling dead body.
Mike Laszlo: Remember a few months ago, the guy who obsessed over Sara?
Alexis Caffrey: Ye…yeeeeeeea…this is him??
Mike Laszlo: It is. I didn’t think he would go this far.
I watched as the mask was pulled off the woman. At first I didn’t recognize her. I shook my head as they carefully turned her body enabling me to see her face. I thought back and then it hit me. The anger turned to shock as I stood there and stared down at her.
Mike Laszlo: Stacey Drago.
Alexis Caffrey: Who is she?
Mike Laszlo: These two were in a relationship in high school. She was really submissive and would do anything he said. It must have translated all these years.
Alexis looked down at them and then up at me.
Alexis Caffrey: Can we go home?
Mike Laszlo: Yeah, let’s go.
Detective Bradley: We’ll call in a few days to collect a statement.
Alexis nodded and the two of us headed to the group of squad cars where one of the police was waiting to drive us back into town as the scene fades.
====================
You helped that happen Sephiroth. You gave that scumbag mother fucker my information and you caused a surreal situation to happen that was way too personal to me. Before, this was all about defending this title and making you wish that you had never challenged me.
Now?
Now, that’s all changed. You made the same mistake that Caleb Arcane made. You made the same mistake Killian made when he escalated things to a whole new level. YOU WENT EVEN FARTHER!
You stupid Twilight cast off son of a bitch. You put my girlfriend’s life on the line. You had her minutes away from death. This goes far beyond the world of professional wrestling Sephiroth. This goes beyond me being a champion and defending this belt at a Pay Per View like it’s some other title match where only pride is on the line. This goes way past you pretending to be a vampire and I get to do it all in the confines of legality.
I have you to thank for that.
You laid down the stipulation that this match be contested with no rules. You put forth the fact that in this match we can go over the line of simple violence. I get to use anything in my disposal to hurt you and hurt you bad.
When I’m done with you and have made you pay for the things you’ve done, for the jeopardy you put Alexis in, you’ll wish you were a damned vampire. You’ll wish that you had that invincibility. You’ll wish that you had all those super abilities to counter the brutality in which I will unleash upon you.
Remember as I slam your pale face into that steel. Remember the horror you put my girlfriend through as I take a steel chair to your body in ways that have never been done before. As you hear the bones snap, as you feel the muscles and ligaments tear, remember her face, think of the tears that I saw flow down her face.
They’ll be the same that flow from your Maria’s face when I end you once and for all, and don’t worry Sephiroth, unlike Dracula or the other villains in a horror movie, you won’t be coming back.
Your day of reckoning is Danger Zone. I am your judge, your jury, and your final executioner. You are guilty. Your sentence, a beating the likes of which you have never EVER seen before. A beating that you will wish to never feel again. I promise you that.
And in the process, I’ll keep my shiny, silver belt.
It’s funny that you’re sick of something du Lac, because I am too. I’m sick of people coming in to the IWF from other organizations thinking that because they were top dogs there, they can just be ones here. That’s not the case you night-walking sick freeeeak.
