First off, I'm happy to see Rob back -- and guess what, he's right. Steve made a choice; he chose to let his ego get in the way of his work and ended a friendship in the process. I've had friendships ended through the years just 'cuz I'm a Republican, that I think differently from the popular dogma of the day. People have gone through those types of things, and while it's heartbreaking, we gotta realize that our own emotions can be detrimental to us sometimes, that they can often get in the way of what you're tryin' to build in the future.
Brings me to you, Fi.
You wanted to be his friend, I understand. You hoped and prayed he'd come around, but alas...it didn't turn out that way. You did the best you could with what you had to work with, but he didn't wanna change his ways -- he chose not to. If I pulled the same stunt he pulled, you would be furious at me and I'd know why.
It ain't worth lettin' anger fry your brain over somethin' tht, frankly, we can't control.

I can't change all the BS he pulled, more than you can change everything that's happened to you. It's in the past, but you have to make another choice -- to move on. People would give an arm and a leg just to BE like you.

I don't want people to think of me as blowin' sunshine and rainbows, but out there Fi...we gotta push it. It's our job, it's what we do. We have a future to think about, somethin' that'll last so much longer than any of the title reigns we had. It's a helluva somethin' worth fightin' for, I'll say.
