So the time for talk is over because October 25th will be the night of Revolution. October Revolution and it’s fitting that Revolution is the name of the Pay Per View we will be competing at. Because for those of you who are too lazy to look up the meaning of the word. It can be defined simply as a form of change.
Since I came to this company I feel like you have all seen the revolution of the Diamonds division and more importantly the revolution of Crystal Hilton. For the majority of my entire career on this roster. I have heard the same thing again and again.
This company by the likes of Ana Valentine, Amber Richards, Jessica Reed, and Eternity.
Everyone always mentions the big four again and again, and when it comes time to talking up the likes of me, it’s always the same old rehashed shit.
That I don’t belong in this company. That I am washed up, and while I may have been relevant years ago when it comes to competing in the middle of an IWF ring I just can’t seem to cut it. Everyone brings up my shared title run and uses it to drive the same point over and over against me.
And honestly after hearing it over and over again I come to the conclusion that perhaps some of those comments are right.
I will be the first to admit that a lot of them are nothing but the truth, and as much I would like to deny it. I can’t go against what is the blatant truth especially when it glancing at me directly in the face.
That doesn’t mean it always has to be the truth though. One thing that I wish to change more than anything else is the comment that people don’t think I have what it takes to stand up on my own. Ever since my days in that other company teaming up with the likes of Zelda Knite to my days in this company befriending Ana Valentine.
The story always seems to be the same. Crystal comes onto the roster she joins up with an established wrestler she does well as long as she is tied to that wrestler but the moment you separate Hilton from that wrestler she tends to fizzle out, and that’s what I am looking to change.
The concept that Crystal may not be good enough. That she’s not ready to stand out on her own. All of those comments are enough to flat out drive me to the brink of insanity, and at Revolution I am looking to change all of that.
I am looking to change that along the likes of you Kayla. When I look at you Kayla I know I said you were a cheating little Bitch but honestly you did what you had to do in order to put the title around your waist.
You accomplished a lot more than I have in this company and that alone gives you nothing but my utmost respect. You broke out from your sister’s shadow, and you were an overcomer. You showed that you just weren’t Amber’s little sibling. You personally showcased that you had the talent and the ability to break out of your shell.
And by winning that six way elimination match Kayla. By being able to bring the Shieldmaiden championship around your waist. You have shown the entire world that Kayla Richards is in fact the future of this business, and I would be a fool if I didn’t believe in it as well.
So have gotten my respect Kayla, and there was a time where I would have done anything to get ahead. I would have showcased the fact that I am a Hollywood starlet down everyone’s throats. I would have shown off how much glamour and glitz I have but at the end of the day that really doesn’t speak anything for my wrestling career.
I am disappointed in myself Kayla because even I know that I am not living up to my potential, and for some reason everytime I step in the ring with you. You have this uncanny way to get me fired enough to where it forces me to kick my game up a notch.
So I thank you for that.
But do not take my thank you for granted Kayla because at the end of the day I feel like I want this a lot more than you do because with one win over you. One win could really get my revolution in motion. It could get me moving in the right direction, and more importantly I would be right where I would need to be.
Do you know what it feels like to have everyone telling you, that you just aren’t good enough Kayla?
People constantly say I am washed up and I don’t have it anymore but I am only 27 years of age. There is still much more for me to do in this business, and I refuse to be the goddamn joke for any longer.
Every time we step in the ring with one another you have always gotten the best of me. Whether it’s with a pair of brass knuckles or with that kick of yours. Whenever you and I are in the same ring you end up getting the best of me and I am getting sick and tired of it!
Do you know how insulting it feels to go home and to hear my own daughter. My mini me, my own flesh and blood talk up how much you are her favorite wrestler in IWF?
It’s insulting considering I AM ON THE ROSTER…
Insulting that I know it should be me but to hear her say otherwise just breaks my heart.
Revolution it’s time for the official revolution of Crystal Hilton.
No more being in the shadow of someone else…
It’s time that I take my place in the spotlight and I won’t let anyone get in the way of that. Not even you Kayla…
Brace yourself because I guarantee on everything that is running within my body that I will overcome you and bring that Shieldmaiden championship to where it belongs, and that’s around my waist.
You will see for yourself that I am the rose that simply refuses to wither away. This is my story and I won’t let anything get in the way of that… Not even you.
Watch out Kayla because I am coming for you.
Nothing will stop this rose from blossoming…
Crystal Hilton life was going in the right direction everything that she had wanted this year was coming to past. She had a wedding to look forward to in a month’s time. She had a newfound aspect when it came to the wrestling business. Everything was going in the way that she had hoped. Everything except her wrestling career. It was late as Crystal held her head down in shame as she walked in her living room staring at all of the accolades on the wall.
Everything that was in front of her read the same. Crystal Hilton “Tag Team Champion…” Accolade after accolade it was all the same to her. Tag Champion, Trios Champion. It was as if every award she has ever held was always shared with someone else. Crystal didn’t know what to think until she walked over to her singles accomplishments.
There was a World title replica… But one and done… Same thing for the majority of every other singles title she has ever held, and her latest replica was that of the Ruby Championship. Crystal offered a long sigh as she just kept her eyes locked on it. As she spoke out loud.
Crystal: Always the bridesmaid and never the bride… Story of my life.
Crystal sighed in returned as she let some tears drop from her eyes, as they started to hit the ground below. However a voice calls out to her. A voice that belongs to her daughter.
Brittany: That’s funny considering you are going to be a bride in less than a month…
Brittany laughed as she walked into the living room and stood next to her mother. However all Brittany got in return was the loud sounds of sobbing. Brittany drew closer to her mother as she started to stand next to her.
Brittany: Are you crying? What’s wrong?
Crystal thought about it as she kept her eyes locked on everything that was in front of her.
Crystal: I am just thinking about my career.
Brittany: You looking over how awesome it was?!
Crystal shakes her head as she looks back at her daughter sighing in return.
Crystal: You really don’t mean that… Every time we talk you always find some way to rub it in that I am not good enough and…
Brittany shakes her head sighing in return as she wraps her arms tightly around the neck of her mother.
Brittany: Mom… Just shut up… Seriously what you are saying doesn’t even make sense…
Crystal: And what else am I supposed to think Brittany?
Crystal takes a deep breath as she looks back at her daughter who sighs back at her.
Brittany: I do think you are good enough.
Crystal: You do?!
Brittany: Why do you think I constantly get under your skin so much?! It’s because I wanna see the best out of you.
Crystal: You don’t think I am worthless?
Crystal looks back at her as Brittany smiles.
Brittany: No I don’t think you are worthless. Why would I think the best wrestler in the entire world is worthless?
Crystal: Because all I ever hear you talk about is Kayla Richards.
Brittany smiles as she glances back at her mother.
Brittany: That’s called motivation. If I didn’t think you could do a lot better than what you are. Do you think I would have put this much time in trying to stir something up within you?
Crystal thinks about it for a few moments as she shrugs her shoulders.
Crystal: Well… I really didn’t know what to think.
Brittany: Besides why would I go against the woman that makes me want to become a wrestler?
Crystal is taken back as she looks back at Brittany.
Crystal: You want to be a wrestler?
Brittany: Yep, and I want you to train me too…
Crystal doesn’t know what to say as she looks back at her daughter and hugs her in return.
Crystal: I had no idea.
Brittany: I know you are down in the dumps but there’s no reason for you to be there. You seem to be beating yourself up, and the only thing I can see that’s wrong is that you are in a slump. You remember Batman Begins right?
Crystal: Batman Begins?
Brittany: Yes when Bruce fell into the well, and his father had to have a talk with him.
Crystal: And you called me the nerd.
Brittany: Well the reason we fall is so that we can get back up again. You just need to pick yourself back up again, and once you do nothing will stop you. Do you believe you have what it takes to get there?
Crystal thinks about it for a few moments as she looks down into the eyes of her daughter smiling in return.
Crystal: Thank you Brittany… I really needed to hear that.
Brittany: Good...Now go out to that ring and add something else to this wall… Something that we both can be proud of.
Crystal continues to nod her head as she takes it all in.
