As the scene opens up, Alexis is shown sitting at a table, the Diamonds Title sitting in front of her. Her head is held up by the hand placed delicately under her chin as she repeatedly taps the fingers of her free hand against the wooden table top. She notices the camera and brings her other arm down against the table top.
Oh, don’t mind me. I’m just trying to figure out what there is to really talk about today. I mean, I could always go the route of Kayla Richards and just insult everybody, or Fiona McFly and tell some bullshit story, or Esperanza who’s probably just going to go on some rant of how she came oh so close to beating me and Kayla and yet failed on every occasion.
Don’t let the supposed confusion fool you. She knows exactly how she's going to go about this. After all, she has an all-knowing husband who has been in this match before, albeit on the other side of things.
Okay, I've made my decision, and I can't help but talk about the ignorant little twit who calls herself my better. You know, the one who says her title means mine because she's defended it week in and week out against a bunch of NOBODIES!
Kayla, sweetie, honey, little art canvas of mine…you're Shieldmaiden Title will never mean as much as my Diamonds Title. It sure as Hell won't ever eclipse it. You don't now, nor will you ever mean more than me.
You see you pesky little dip stick, you can defend that title against the bottom barrel of the division week in and week out because nobody has to earn anything to get in a ring with you. I on the other hand need someone to step up because unlike you, I've beaten everyone there is in this division, yourself included. Whereas you’re a common occurrence, I'm a prize. I am the Diamonds headliner used to put butts in seats. I'm a name while you're just another one of ”them”.
She puts her index finger into her chest.
Trust me Kayla, I’d love to be in that ring every single week. I'd love to have the competition you have, on my level; but the facts are the facts…that competition…for me…doesn't exist. I beat Eternity, I beat Ana, I beat you, and the list goes on and on.
So why?
Why Kayla?
Why should I crave attention? Why should I go seeking competition? I did enough seeking as I scratched and clawed my way through the Iron Maiden, as I beat Ana at Night of the Immortals, as I lost to Eternity only to escape her mind games and find myself again, beating her to become a two time Diamonds Champion, something you can only hope to achieve. I'm done seeking. As champion, as YOUR champion, I'm going to sit here on my throne, as your queen, and the peons like yourself can fight to see who fights me next.
So continue on my little LA Ink wannabe. Continue being the sideshow; continue being the appetizer to me as the main course. What I want you to stop doing Kayla is comparing yourself to me. Either put your money where your big mouth is, or just shut it. Stop comparing yourself to me, stop aspiring to be me, stop fantasizing about being better than me, because not a single one of those goals is realistically attainable.
She places one hand on the table while removing the other from view.
You stick to being down there…
She raises her other hand high in the air, over her head, and looks up at it.
While I stay up here…all alone.

“One Down…”
I watched as his legs pushed the weight plate up, and as his knees bent I winced for him, but his face remained steadfast as he pushed the plate again. He was working overtime in his rehab as he wanted to be back to one hundred percent as soon as possible. He repeated the process a few more times before setting the plate up on the rack with his feet. He let out a final exhale as he sat up from the bench and swung his legs over the side, his feet firmly planted on the ground. He grabbed a towel and wiped his face as I approached.
So?
He shook his head from side to side before taking a sip of his Gatorade.
No pain at all.
YAY!
I hugged him and kissed the side of his face as he smiled and let out a little laughter. I pulled away, wondering what was so funny.
What are you laughing at?
He pulled me in, sitting me on his lap.
It’s nothing. It just seems like you're more died than even I am for my comeback.
Its not so much more excited, as feeling things are right again. I feel like you were robbed in the peak of your career. You were champion, then so close to winning again. Now you have to go back and start from scratch.
Not necessarily.
I sat there confused.
Huh?
A smile crossed his face.
Did you forget that little briefcase I have sitting at home?
I’ll be honest, between my own happenings in IWF and all that's happened between Mike and my Mother I did forget about the Joker in the Pack briefcase.
I guess I did. That makes me feel better. So what's the plan?
I don't know yet. I'll have to talk to Roberto and see where things go from there. Until then, all I can do is get stronger, faster, and better.
I nodded and kissed him on the lips again.
And I'll be there to push you every step of the way.
He smiled as he playfully pulled me closer, the two of us sharing a passionate kiss as the scene fades.

As the scene comes to again, Alexis is exactly where we left her sitting at the table. She seems bored as she leans forward on her forearms, waiting for her cue which she then gets.
Ready? Okay, so now that I got all of that out of my system pertaining to the other “champion” in this match, let's look at the two challengers in this glorious Extinction Event, Fiona Mcfly and Esperanza Serranto.
Let's start with Esperanza shall we?
I mean it fits doesn’t it?
After all, I did just beat her last week…
Again proving who the dominant female in this company really is.
How did it feel Esperanza? Did it make you all warm and cozy inside?
She hugs herself, rubbing her hands up and down her arms, portraying that warm, fuzzy feeling.
Did it feel good to get in the ring with first the Shieldmaiden and then the Diamonds Champion, only to find out that you don't quite measure up? Yet despite your tainted attempts against Kayla and myself, you're still granted a huge opportunity. Kayla says you earned it, I say there was nobody else and the new face needed exposure.
We'll agree to disagree I guess.
She folds her arms one over the other in front of her.
So since we know the outcome as far as you're concerned, I have to wonder my cute little hood rat, what duo you expect to get from all of this?
Experience?
A career defining moment?
I mean, it couldn't possibly be a championship because that would just be ludicrous. Maybe even borderline, dare I say it…crazy?
Last week, you said after our match I would be afraid of you…the big hungry wolf chomping at my heels…and yet here I stand, in a match with you again, and yet I'm perfectly still. I'm more confident now than I've ever been before. So did you forget to do something last week that will instill this fear in me? Should I be quaking in my Chuck Taylors?
I won't.
I’m not.
Sorry to burst your little bubble cutie.
I am the Diamonds Champion now and I will be still after Survival of the Fittest.
She pulls the Diamonds Title in front of her and rubs the center plate over and over again, staring down at the shiny gold with the enamor of a mother staring down at her little baby.
You don't seem to understand. This belt isn't just a piece of property; it isn't metal strapped to leather. This previous delight is MY baby, and like I told Mercedes Vargas…I won't let a single one of your grubby hands take her from me.
The scene fades again.

“…One to Go”
With Mike ready to go, and feeling much better, it was time to put all my focus into the most important woman in my life…my mother. I had gotten home from the last show, and took the night for myself. The next morning I got in the car and headed over to my mother’s house. I knocked on the door and let myself in.
Mom?
Over here sweetie.
I headed into the kitchen around the corner, the smell of a homemade meal making my nostrils flare. It smelled delicious. I heard the sizzle as I stepped in to see my mother upright, moving around, and full of color; a far cry from how I saw her the last time.
Well someone is feeling good today.
She looked up with a smile on her face.
Yes. The doctor gave me some stimulants, and other supplements that have allowed me to be more active the last few weeks. I’ve been cooking every day, and is just much better all together.
Hearing those words put me at ease. Honestly, I knew she was a little better after taking to her on the phone, but this is far and away better than what I anticipated. She finished stirring her signature sauce and motioned me into the dining room.
I’m sorry I haven't been able to get here as much. With all the travel and signings and other stuff, my plate had been really full.
She put her hand on top of mine.
Don’t you feel guilty sweetheart. I didn't like you seeing me inn such bad shape anyway. Mike has stopped by and we've legit each other company as we're been healing.
I shook my head with a smile on my face.
God, I love that man.
As you should. You have quite the catch. I'm so glad your personal and professional lives are at such peace. I'm so proud of you.
I felt my face getting warm. That feeling of having someone so invested in you was almost overwhelming.
Thank you mom. You don't know how much that means to me.
There was a humility to the situation as she gazed at me with the biggest smile on her face. I looked back and smiled back. The moment was interrupted by the stovetop timer. My mother looked over.
Do you have time for some dinner?
I nodded and we headed back into the kitchen as the scene fades.
**********
The scene comes back in and we see Alexis impatiently sitting at the table, the Diamonds Title slung over her shoulder.
Can I tell off the idiot Irish girl yet?
Huh?
Oh, we're on?
Oh well.
She looks into the camera.
I’m glad you heard that Fiona. I want you to know what I really think of you. You're not a woman you're a little girl. You spew all this nonsense about me and my title reigns, and how “the power of the Title” has corrupted me; that my husband has corrupted me.
I have to ask you and your silly little brain cells that scramble about if you even have a clue about what you're talking about.
Did it ever occur to you that we were this way all along?
People cheered me and my husband before because we were facing THEIR enemies. Now that we take on their heroes, we're the bad guys. News flash honey…WE DON'T CARE!
She points into her chest.
My husband and I earned out spots. We took on everyone in front of us, we beat people that others said we couldn't, and we rose to the top of our divisions and took the prize we both wanted oh so much.
This is what you should inspire to be Fiona.
You shouldn't be bad mouthing me or my reigns, or how I got them. You shouldn't be putting down my methods, for in the end you little fairy, the ends were sooooo worth the means. I defeated Ana Jones, I fought demons and defeated Eternity, and last week I defeated Esperanza, adding her to every other Diamond I've defeated this year.
At the coming Pay Per View, you and Esperanza understand what I already know. I'm the queen of this castle, and I have no plans on being dethroned and reminiscing my baby anytime soon.
She leans over and kisses the title as the scene fades.
Oh, don’t mind me. I’m just trying to figure out what there is to really talk about today.
