Say it ain't so! Our hearts are heavy with loss as Bushido was felled once again by the InFamous douchebag. Not only that but things have not been easy in Bushido's world. Two ladies have found themselves wrapped around his warm embrace yet neither seek nor want shelter from the cold. It seems that the Asian Sensation's home is no longer sweet. No matter! For Bushido has learned long ago what it means to overcome adversity and adversaries. While he hasn't had the greatest of weeks, bar the one where Jake Keeton found himself on the wrong end of the 1, 2, 3, Bushido is ready to pull that trigger and end Brad's hopes of usurping his championship. Especially after his little escapade made matters worse between Miranda and The Bush. Indeed, his homestead has been a "Three's Company"-type of situation only Jack Tripper isn't banging Janet or Crissy. A real shame.
CRASH!
Hotel suite's aren't safe when a woman is scorned. Miranda is stomping back and forth, occasionally smashing a mirror with the wiffle ball bat in her hand. Where she got that bat? We'll never know.
Bushido: It was simple mistake.
Miranda: Simple?
Probably not what she wanted to hear.
Miranda: SIMPLE!?!
Nope. Definitely not what she wanted to hear.
Miranda: Nothing about our lives is simple anymore! I thought it was going to be simple when we decided to ditch Dragon and make the move to IWF and for a while it was. Undefeated streak, championship victory and then... Ayame.
Bushido: I thought two you were friends?
Miranda: That's not the point. This whole arranged marriage has been nothing but an unlucky blight in our existence. Ayame is cool and all but she's not the problem.
Bushido: What is?
Miranda: You are, dork!
CRASH!
There goes the TV as Miranda swings at Bushido's head only he ducks the blow. Bushido rises, taking the bat away from her and noticing the steady flow of tears streaming down her cheeks. Her anger seems to have subsided. Replaced by sorrow.
Miranda: Wenn Sie nicht bekommen, warum ich wütend bin dann sehe ich nicht den Punkt zu bleiben.
German spoken in sadness seemed to accentuate the feeling. Bushido couldn't reply. Mainly because he didn't understand her. She simply gave him a look that he understood and then slipped out of the suite. Bushido felt like he should follow but he didn't. He tosses the bat to the ground and slumps down on the sofa afforded by the hotels luxurious accommodations. His elbows rested on his thighs as his face was buried in the palm of his hands.
Ayame: If you don't get why I'm mad then I don't see the point in staying.
His intended's voice broke the silence that was slowly swallowing The Floating Dragon. He rubs the frustration out as his hands smooth out his bald head, turning to face his future wife.
Bushido: What?
Ayame: That is what Miranda said.
Bushido: You understand German?
Ayame: I can speak several languages. I am amazed your father did not have you learn as well.
Bushido: *speaks Japanese*
Subtitles: Father had tunnel vision when it came to what I should learn.
Ayame: I feel like I am intruding. Miranda clearly wants to be in my place.
Bushido: *speaks Japanese*
Subtitles: I do not understand what she wants. Maybe she is just mad I accidentally spit in her face.
Ayame: Then you are a fool.
She slips into a seat beside him, closer than she has ever been to him. Her hand massages the back of his neck and Bushido seems a bit confused by this.
Ayame: Men are such boys when it comes to relationships. You fail to see what is right in front of you. This will be your undoing, Bushido... Bushido? That is not your real name, is it?
The One shakes his head and it peaks her curiosity.
Ayame: Will you tell your future wife what it is then?
Bushido: Perhaps... One day.
The innocent moment between the two looks not so innocent to someone outside looking in. That's exactly what occurs when Miranda came back into the room to apologize only to find Ayame sitting close to Bushido. From her perspective it appears as if they are doing more than talking and her face is clearly heartbroken as she slowly closes the door.
Today...
The morning sun has just risen. One would swear they could hear the cockadoodledoo if they listened closely. Bushido leans on the railing of a balcony, white silk pants and shirtless. Ready or not, here Bushy comes.
Bushido: *speaks Japanese*
Subtitles: I will not tell a lie. Losing is the most difficult part of this career. I can be an arrogant man but only because my skill deems it necessary. I believe, no matter who stands in front of me, I believe that I shall be victorious. It is a pressing issue when one proves you wrong.
Especially when he has done it twice.
Since my debut, I have only lost two times and it was to the same man. I will not make excuses or claim that I was ill with the flu at the time. I will not use my own personal issues outside of the ring as factors to why I was not entirely focused. I simply lost because I was not good enough on that night. I still know I can beat Rob Diamond. The man just is not as good as he thinks he is. Sure, he has great skill, but he is not unbeatable and regardless of what he and his life partner claim, InFamous is not immortal.
They ain't no damn Highlanders!
Bushido: *speaks Japanese*
Subtitles:I will not take anything away from both of you gentlemen. I can see and respect the glint coming off of those belts you now wear. Your names are renowned throughout this industry and I can see why... But you are in no way, shape or form the end all, be all of brutality. You are not the only ones that could dig deep and uncover a darkness long since hidden. What happens in your personal lives is your own misery to be had. You will not prove your worth as a father by showing the world how twisted you can be. It will only further harm your cause but I guess that is for you to work out. Nobody cares about your daughter, Rob. How dare you try to make your issues ours? As if I should worry about a little girl's absentee father who clearly enjoys dismembering grown men more than actually being a loving daddy. I have my own problems to deal with.
You will not force me to cower in fear simply because you are in a bit of a bind.
Puff out your chest all you'd like, Rob. Focus all of your attention on Criminal Intent and lose sight of what's in front of you. Continue to fall into their games and act like the puppet whose strings are pulled by them. Then sit back and wait for my backhand to blindside you. I have seen your best, Rob. Your best has bested me but I believe the time has come for me to find that little darkness inside of me and pull out a comeback like no other. I am the Cruiserweight Champion. I represent a division that continues to thrive and not one that continues to die because its champions are two of the worst human beings on the planet.
Brad was right, you are getting what you deserve.
Both of you are, right Spike?
The One turns away from the sun and stares into the camera with a you reap what you sow smirk on his face.
Bushido: *speaks Japanese*
Subtitles: The incomparable Spike Kane. The God of Xtreme. So full of shit, you are.
Show me who the hell hails you and I'll show you a moron. The two biggest blowhards in this business form a tag team... Sounds like the start of an unfunny joke to which you are the punchline. Be that as it may, between you and Rob, you are a stand up guy. Now that isn't saying much at all but it is what it is. I see in you a worthy competitor saddled with an unsavory piece of garbage, but you are used to having been saddled with a worthless brother, aren't you? Either way, I really do not have anything negative to say to you other than grow the fuck up.
Scratch that. I have plenty to say.
God of Xtreme?
Are we in elementary imagining what we'll be when we grow up again? I guess in this business it is good to have monikers but how pretentious does a "chav" have to be to come up with that one? Just look in the mirror, Spike, and you'll find the answer. I have respect for your in-ring ability and have heard horror stories of your past matches but you are not the only one who has been to hell and back. You are not the only capable of being Xtreme. So for you to think that we should simply bow down to your will or else is quite childish. Any grown man with a set of balls will pick option 2 as I have and kick your godlyhood down your stinking throat.
I am not afraid of men pretending to be gods.
The both of you had made it quite clear that Hulk angry, Hulk smash. While your Batman voice is as impressive as Christian Bale's, you will find that I am neither scared or intimidated. I am a naturally gifted warrior, trained by my father's father to be the man I am today. I was trained in the ways of my namesake and I use these feats to the best of my ability. I think I could handle two grown men who like to play dress-up with one another when the cameras are not recording. I am tired of being second best to Rob and the continual growth of his ego. I am tired of Spike spewing his tired old rhetoric as if this was 2009. The both of you are champions but neither of you have what it takes to hold the belt I hold.
I do not rely on anybody.
I handle my own business and while the both of you are frustrated in your real life dilemmas, you will not be taking out those frustrations on me or my partner for the night on Sacrifice.
Twice you've beat me, Rob.
Twice is enough.
Too much if you ask me.
Bushido: *speaks Japanese*
Subtitles: So I will agree with you Brad and say we should work as a team if only for one night. Lineage is around the corner and on that night I will prevent you from stealing what is mine. I will vanquish your spirit and swallow your dreams only to spit out the broken shell of a Kane. You will pay for having me spit into Miranda's face... But on Sacrifice, once that bell rings, we will stand united and together we will show the tag Team Champions why the Cruiserweight Division is the only division that matters. Champion and Number 1 Contender will take the best InFamous can give and when it is all said and done we will ask,...
Was that it?
Bushido turns back to face the horizon, enjoying this brief moment of reprieve. A calm before the storm, if you will.
Bushido: But once match is over, Brad. Bets are off.
CRASH!
Hotel suite's aren't safe when a woman is scorned. Miranda is stomping back and forth, occasionally smashing a mirror with the wiffle ball bat in her hand. Where she got that bat? We'll never know.
