I don't need men to reinforce archaic patriarchal normative gender roles by defending my honour, it supports the notion that women are incapable of defending themselves and require men to be boiled down to nothing more than their physical strength.
However, it's quite clear to me Mr Gillmen wants to turn this genuine debate into an opportunity to post thinly veiled threats against myself, so in the interests of ensuring my own personal safety from a highly bigoted unbalanced individual, I would like to invite Spike Kane the opportunity to repay his many debts to society by acting as my personal moderator to prevent any violence from the cavalcade of bigots being assembled by Mr Gillmen.
I thought that after eight years of Mr Obama we'd be in a better place, yet his brave fight against social oppression in America has been heavily resisted by men of Mr Gillmen's ilk.
Very disheartening.
