The scene opens up and we see your Shieldmaiden Champion, in the back of a car as I’m being driven from the hotel to the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. My hair, blonde highlights and all are straightened along the side of my head and down over my shoulders; my eyes shaded by sunglasses, and my body covered by a body hugging black and white dress.
I am the Shieldmaiden Champion here in the IWF, and its well documented that I am indeed the longest reigning Shieldmaiden of all time. I’ve beaten everyone there is to beat, and now it’s time to do something that nobody has ever done before...become the Diamonds Champion WHILE being Shieldmaiden.
I’m breaking records...why not do something that nobody has ever done before?
More importantly...who’s going to stop me?
I point to myself.
I’ve beaten everyone there is to beat, and after I beat the three would-be challengers in my match and retain MY Shieldmaiden Championship, I think it’s only fitting that I take the step up and take that Diamonds Title off of Eternity’s hands...right?
I shrug my shoulders.
I mean, there’s really nothing else for me to do in this business...right? I have fame, I have fortune, and I have a championship. So legit, it really is the only place for me to go...up...to the Diamonds Championship.
I grab the Shieldmaiden and set it on my lap.
And if I have this little fashion trend with me...so be it.
The drive goes on as the driver pulls into the toll lane, leading into the tunnel. The driver pays the toll and we head into the tunnel causing me to raise my sunglasses up on my head.
So what about the people that think they’re going to get in this match? There’s people like the three I’m going to face for my Shieldmaiden Title. There’s people like the girl I beat a couple of weeks ago, Eva Broussard. My mentor, Alexis Caffrey, who would be so proud of me and my reign, has clearly stated her intentions of being in this match. MY OWN SISTER is probably going to be in this match, and yet the only one with as much pressure as me is perhaps Eternity herself.
She points into the camera.
Eternity, you have history waiting for you at the end of the tunnel. You are on the cusp of doing something that nobody in this company, man or woman, has ever done. You’re going to become the longest reigning champion EVER in the history of this company. Longer than Renee Pleasant, longer than Roberto Verona, longer than ANYONE!
That in and of itself is an accomplishment of which I look to eclipse.
I throw my hands in the air.
SEE!? ANOTHER REASON FOR ME TO WIN!
I retain my Shieldmaiden, extending that reign far and beyond, AND win the Diamonds Title. Then, I go on to become the longest reigning Diamonds Champion of all time, and both my Shieldmaiden AND Diamonds reigns become the longest ever.
BRILLIANT!
The voice of the driver is heard, telling Paige that they’ve arrived.
It looks like we’re here folks. The site of not only my greatest triumph, but also my greatest accomplishment in my career.
The car comes to a stop and Paige gets out of the car as the scene fades.

“All Too Fast”
With my engagement announced to my sister and now the world on Twitter...it was time to prep for things. Preparing for a wedding is quite harassing as far the time it takes to get things done. First and foremost was setting a date.
I was at the hotel in Brooklyn, and Brian was along for this leg of our East Coast trip as he was making more of a conscious effort to at least be around for the monthly Pay Per Views to support his fiance.
Wow...that was weird to hear come out of my mouth...even still.
I was sitting in the bed, we had taken the morning to ourselves, and I was on my laptop, looking at places where we could have our wedding. As I swiped through different photos, there were the classics like famous churches, and beaches, and vineyards. Then, as I was swiping through, getting somewhat bored of the selection, there was one that caught my eye.
Paige Garcia: Babe! Look at this.
He turned from the desk where he was going over some paperwork. I showed him the photo and it was of a wedding toward the edge of a cliff, looking out over the Pacific Ocean.
Brian Godd: That seems pretty breathtaking right there.
He turned back to the desk, continuing on with his paperwork. I sensed a bit of a disconnect and set the laptop to the side. I rolled off the bed and walked over to him, leaning over his shoulder, kissing him on the cheek.
Paige Garcia: What’s wrong babe?
Brian Godd: Nothing. I just gotta get some of this done before we go out and about, and before your event on Sunday.
He only seemed to do this when I brought up wedding stuff. I was determined to get to the bottom of it.
Paige Garcia: How come you get distant when I talk about a wedding? Last week I was looking at flowers, and now, venues.
He set down the pen and sat back in his chair, looking up at me with somewhat tired eyes.
Brian Godd: It’s not that I get distant. It’s more of me just thinking that you’re taking this on a little too fast. I just proposed to you last week. I was kind of expecting a normal engagement...you know?
I was a little taken aback. I didn’t think I was rushing anything.
Paige Garcia: That’s fine hun. I don’t need a quick wedding. I just like to be prepared is all.
Brian Godd: I know, and it’s one of the things I love about you. Some of this though is meant to be organic...perhaps relax a bit on the planning and let some of it just come to you.
Paige Garcia: Like what?
Brian Godd: Not so much that stuff...just enjoy the time you have now. Don’t obsess over something that is months away.
Paige Garcia: You think I’m obsessing?
He nodded. His honesty was one of the things I appreciated about him.
Brian Godd: A little. Let’s just take a break on it. I’ll finish up these documents, and we’ll go for a lunch, or maybe to the Statue of Liberty. In all my travels, I’ve never gone there. I think it would be cool.
I nodded. Perhaps he was right. Maybe I was rushing things just a bit. I can slow my role, and just enjoy my time with my man...my prince...my everything.
Paige Garcia: Alright sweetie. I’ll leave you to it.
I kissed him again, this time on the lips, him returning the favor. I crawled back on the bed and over to my laptop. I looked at the picture and smiled...bookmarking the site on my browser before closing the page down. I set the laptop to the side and grabbed hold of the remote, flipping on the television as the scene fades.

The scene comes back to and we’re inside the Barclays Center, Paige sitting in one of the seats about halfway up the lower bowl, staring down at the ring.
So as I look up and down the field of competitors, I can’t help but ask the same question I ask every single time I face one of these useless women who think they have what it takes to dethrone me, or in this case, stop me from my own goals of ascending to greater heights…
What do any of you have to gain, other than Eternity that is.
Fiona? Disappointment.
Crystal...who really cares...am I right?
Eva? Please, you can’t shine my boots.
How about that little beat dropper Pandora? Please, she’ll be too busy singing and dancing before she’s hit in the face with a ladder, and dropped like the fool she is.
Any old timers?
Ana Valentine? Please...she ran with her tail tucked.
Amber Richards? I beat her already...so again...no threat.
She stares down at the ring with a smile on her face, pointing towards the squared-circle.
Do you see that? That ring down there is where it all goes down. We open the show, we tear the house down, and I retain my championship. Then, the ladders come out, and I pull double duty, showing the world that I’m the best thing going in this division.
I’ll beat down whoever I have to. I’ll use whatever is at my disposal to take out every single girl in that match, climb a ladder in the center of that ring, reach up, and take what is meant for me to have…
THE IWF DIAMONDS CHAMPIONSHIP.
I will end the longest reign in history, I will make my own history. I’ll become the first ever dual champion, I’ll etch my name in the record books, and as the end of the Eternity Era happens in front of us...a new era will begin...it will expand...the Era of Garcia...and in the end...you will all realize what I already know...It’s ALL About ME!
The scene starts to fade as Paige simply smiles while still staring at the ring.
