Gimmick / Biography: Born the son of a convicted rapist father and devout Christian mother, Will Peterson was, in his words, "fighting battles coming out of the womb". Despite being reasonably strong academically and an enthusiastic sportsman in several fields, Peterson always felt his height (or lack of it) held him back from fulfilling his potential in life. Making up for his height, Will threw himself into the gym and bulked up to almost Schwarzenegger-like proportions.
Still, he was told he was too short for rugby, he didn't have the pace for football and would never have the temperament for cricket. For Will Peterson, amateur wrestling became an almost begrudged hobby. As it turned out, he was a natural, and with a new channel for his pent up anger, this casual hobby soon turned into a life passion.
Peterson turned pro soon after leaving school, but became frustrated and stuck in a rut in several low-budget British federations. He bounced around independent promotions without direction, but always accompanied by his trusty sidekick "Jumbo" Jayson Jacques.
Jay was an old school friend of Peterson's; despite initially both chasing the same girl for months, the two eventually became close friends after said female had strung them both along before sleeping with another fella. Together, they struck a bizarre and often hilarious double-act, with Peterson being dwarfed by this gregarious, 6'6'' man-mountain. Despite his stature, Jay is the personification of "gentle giant"; quiet and unassuming, when he does open his mouth, the stuff that comes out is usually hilarious - not always intentionally so!
Between them, Peterson and Jacques had begun to hatch a plan to move to the more lucrative and rewarding world of American professional wrestling, a plan which Peterson's mother strongly opposed. Knowing of the incredibly strong bond between Peterson and his matriarch, no-one expected Will to go against his wishes and leave. But it was in mysterious circumstances that both Will Peterson and Jayson Jacques disappeared from the British wrestling scene and, indeed, from the country altogether...
As previously alluded to, possibly the only thing shorter than Peterson's stature is his temper, which has gotten him into plenty of trouble both in and out of the ring. He exhibits classic "Short Man Syndrome", but is also surprisingly witty. In wrestling, he has a somewhat eclectic mix of a strong technical skill set and a fiery street-fighter attitude. He is a born underdog, loves to have the odds stacked against him, but has history of crumbling under pressure and expectation on big occasions.

Entrance: "Underdog" by Kasabian blares out over the arena speakers, prompting a mixed reaction from the capacity crowd. Moments after his theme hits, the stocky form of "The Underdog" Will Peterson appears at the top of the ramp, arms folded and wearing a characteristic scowl.
Peterson cricks his neck one way and then the other, before making his way down the aisle, staring inexorably towards the ring in front of him. Fans along the aisle revel in trying to wind the sawn-off powerhouse up, trying to get "The Underdog" to 'bite', and Peterson can't resist jaw-jacking with a particularly vocal member of the crowd, getting right up in his face, sneering and pointing, before snapping his head the other way and sliding into the ring.
Peterson affords himself a slow, 360 degree turn, arms wide, seemingly revelling in the mixed reaction being sent his way. He pauses, eyes closed and arms still wide, before snapping his arms back down to his sides, causing a cacophony of red pyro to explode from above him.
