Orlando, just moments after JFK's match with Jayson Mathews on Monday Night Sacrifice. We are backstage just behind the curtain to the main stage where we can see all the members of KIWA standing around waiting, Chris and Will chit chatting among themselves and Victoria is as always, texting on her phone. We can also see The Nighthawk lurking around in the background.
Jayson Mathews comes walking through the curtain as we can hear JFK's music playing in the background. As soon as he crosses the curtain into the gorilla area all the members of KIWA, even Victoria who puts her phone away, starts to clap. Jayson who's holding the top of his head looks confused, Chris is the first one to make his way over to him and pats him on the back.
Chris: "That was an awesome match my dude, way to go."
Jayson: "Uh...thanks?"
Will comes up and slaps him on the back hard making Jayson stumble a bit.
Will: "No shame in losing dat match homes Jim is a sly motherfucker he always finds a way to come out on top. Ya had a great showin do and put up a hell of a fight."
JFK comes walking through the curtain and lets out a loud.
JFK: "JAYSON!"
Jayson jumps just a bit as his name is screamed out, he turns back to face the man yelling at him, as JFK comes up from behind him, wraps his arm over Jayson's shoulder and whispers something into his ear.
JFK: "Got it kid?"
Jayson: "Yes sir, thank you."
JFK: "Thank me by showing improvement next time you are in that ring. Now go hit the showers, looks like your sensei is waiting for ya."
JFK nods to The Nighthawk who responds in kind as Jayson makes his way to him.
The Nighthawk: "Come, let’s go talk about what you did wrong, and how you can improve on what you did right."
The two men walk off as JFK grabs a towel and places it over his head, another man comes walking into the scene from off camera.
Man: "Hello James."
JFK: "Billy! So glad you could make it, are you rolling already?"
Billy: "Yes sir."
JFK: "Cool cool. Guys come here, I want y'all to meet an old friend of mine. Will, Chris, Vick, this is Billy Corben, director of the documentary’s Cocaine Cowboys and The U. Billy, The Redneck Renegades Will and Chris Fenell, and my sister-in-law and KIWA's public relations director, Victoria Kaos."
Billy shakes hands with everyone.
JFK: "Billy is going to document everything going on this week leading up to Metimorphisis. So whatever he needs, whenever he needs give him the time OK?"
They all nod in agreement.
JFK: "OK good, Billy, I'll be back in a few let me go get washed up and we can start."
Billy: "Sounds good, we've already started rolling so we'll just keep going if that's fine by you?"
JFK: "Works for me...WILL!"
Will, who is not doing anything is startled a bit when JFK yells his name.
Will: "What!?"
JFK: "....behave."
Will looks confused and taken aback but just nods his head.
We see Chris sitting in a chair documentary interview style, as he adjusts the mic pinned to his shirt he looks up at the camera as if someone's asking him a question.
"Describe James Franklin Karn in a word? Wow just one word...huh...driven. That dude is the most driven man I have ever met. No matter what it is he is always driven to be the best at it. KIWA? He wants only the best for every single member of this locker room. Coming back to the ring? He is driven to be the best in that ring. Everything he touches, everything he does, has to be done the right way, and for the betterment of others. He's driven to make the IWF better than it already is, to improve on its great foundation but make it better than it ever has been, for both the talent and for the fans.
When people told him he was too old, too slow, been out of the ring for too long to go toe to toe with monsters like Adyson Starr's beast Buff O’Buffington, or the Spike Kane’s of the world, he used that to drive himself to be better, to prove them wrong. To prove that he's not too old, he not too far removed, but that he is in fact in the best shape of his life, and that he is what everyone whispers him to be but something he’ll never admit himself.
A legend."
"Who is JFK?"
Documentary style interview again this time with Victoria Kaos sitting in the chair smiling at the camera.
"JFK is a champion, a father, a husband a brother and a devil. He can be the devil you know, or the devil you don't. But at the end of the day. JFK is one of the best human beings I have ever met. Sure, he's had his issues in the past, he's had to overcome major issues in his life that at the time, made him do what some people would consider "evil" things, but in reality, he was doing what he felt he needed to do to survive. And he's grown so much since his days of living in the dark. He is one of the best fathers I have ever seen, the care and love he gives his child is second to none, and that helps keep him driven and focused when he's on the road and performing in that ring. He wants to pave a legacy that his daughter can be proud of, a legacy that shows his daughter that if she puts her mind to it, and is willing to work hard for something, anything is possible.
He won't ever say this himself, but JFK is a legend, inside and outside of that ring. He's had his hands in some of the biggest stories, factions and events this business has EVER seen. And that legend will continue to grow this Sunday when he finally win's that Invictus Championship from Noah Fields and brings back a level of prestige and honor that belt hasn’t seen in quite some time.
But...I am his sister-in-law, and I am a tad bias so…"
She gives a sly grin towards the camera, something she's picked up from hanging out with JFK so much lately.
"Daddy loves you and will always be there for you."
We can hear JFK speaking to his daughter just before he exits a room and closes the door behind him softly. His wife Christina Kaos-Karn is leaning on the wall in the hallway.
"You know, I thought I was pretty clear that I didn't want this."
She points at the camera crew.
"In our house when you decided to go back into the business."
"I know I know, but Billy came to me with the idea, seeing as Metamorphosis is here in Miami, my home town, that it would be neat to show the fans a full documentary on the lead up to the event."
"I understand the why's James, I still don't like it."
She starts to walk away towards their room.
"Aw come on, it's just this one time deal, side's it's been kinda fun playing hide and seek with the camera crews, and Anna has had a blast with Billy."
"She does seem to love the attention."
"Of course she does, she's a natural born star."
She turns and smiles at him, she never could stay mad at him for long.
"Just don't make this a habit ok?"
"Deal. So..."
She opens the bedroom door and heads in while he leans in the entrance way.
"You going to invite me in to Let me love you"
We can hear DJ Snake ft. Justin Bieber Let Me Love You come on over the speakers in the bed room, Christina just smiles and shakes her head.
"You're an ass."
"But I'm your ass."
"That you are"
She gives him a light kiss then looks past him towards the camera crew.
"Tell you what, you finish up playing with your friends here, and once you put your toys away, you can come play with me. Sorry boys, I'm greedy and don't like to share."
She waves at the camera and closes the bedroom door. JFK turns to the camera.
"She really doesn’t, I've tried for years but she ain’t having it, very selfish. Very very selfish woman. But...I'd rather play with her than y'all so...later."
He winks at the camera and enters the room closing the door behind him.
"Something people don't know about JFK?"
This time it's Will sitting in front of the camera, he scratches at his beard as he thinks.
"The man is one of the most honorable and loyal people I've ever met. Now...I know people are rolling their eyes at that but let me explain. On the surface, and on TV, what people see from Jim most of the time is a sly cunning con man.
Hell he could sell ice to an Eskimo.
But deep down, that's not the Jim I know.
When we were growing up, I'd say we were shit...14...15...maybe 16 at the time. He was staying with us for bit while his dad was doing a European tour. Anyways. Me and Jim were in the same school together.
We might be cousins, but we were raised like brothers. So yeah, one day we decided to skip school and head up to the mall where we were shoplifting. I'm not proud of it now, but back then we were dirt ass poor and that's how we made money, we'd steal these old school electronic PDF type things, mind you this was way before smart phones and tablets. And we'd sell these devices at school to the other kids for half than what they went for in the stores.
We've gotten away with it a few times up to that point, but we were also hitting up the store on the weekends, this time was a weekday and we must have stood out like a sour thumb because the store was empty.
Jim said he even heard the camera's moving, watching him, at one point. So, we tried to get up out of there with the goods, I fucked up and lead us to the mechanics area and that’s where we got caught.
It was my idea, it was my plan, it was my fault we got caught.
Jim took the blame, for all of it. He was arrested that day while I was released to my parents.
He knew I had a scholarship lined up for wrestling and that an arrest like that, it was well over grand theft, could have ruined everything for me. Without even thinking twice he took the fall, to protect me.
That's the type of dude people don't see with Jim, and that's why I will follow him to hell and back if he asks. Shit, he don’t even have to ask, just lead and I'll follow."
Jayson Mathews comes walking through the curtain as we can hear JFK's music playing in the background. Survival Of The Fittest November 27th, 2016. Extinction Event.
This is the night that Noah Fields believes proves that he is better than me.
This is the night I was robbed by The Whores of Howlett.
One of these statements is true, the other is.... an alternative fact.
Fact of the matter is Noah, yes.
Yes you pinned me.
This is true and I will never deny you that. It's in the books, it happened.
You. Pinned. Me.
But you never beat me Noah.
Hell son, I don't think you even did any damage to me.
You pinned me yes, but it was Rob Diamond's unexpected and from behind Diamond Cutter that did me in.
I had you locked in Noah. I had the hammer ready to drive in the Final Nail in your championship run. Both arms were hooked and I heard you cry out, "Please, not my face!" but just before I could drive that nail home.
BOOM.
Rob outta nowhere.
I hoped you've thanked Rob, Noah. I hope you've made sure he's been well feed and has wanted for not because without him Noah, without Rob Diamond doing what he was told to do, I'd be the Invictus Champion right now, and our match in Miami, MY hometown, MY back yard, would be for your rematch.
But alas, that's not how history went down, and I am not the Invictus Champion.
What is is.
But now Noah, now...you have to step into MY yard. MY house. And you have to defend that title against me, one...on...one.
No one is going to save you this time Noah, you've already burned those bridges.
Oh, I know you are going to challenge Cable Arcane for the Imperial Championship.
That info has been leaked to me the moment you let management know your intentions. And I'm sure once word gets to Cable, he won’t be too pleased with you.
So that's one down that won’t be watching your back, and he's sleeping with the boss, so that’s two that will let you out to dry.
Spike? He's too busy fighting with the Immortal yet silent one, Falcon. He won't be watching your back.
Rob? Rob might not even have a job by the time you have to step through that curtain to face me. And even if he does somehow manage to get past Steve Awesome, he won’t be in any condition to help you.
So all that leaves is Zas.
Invictus rules means he won’t be an issue either Noah, because I'll have my backup hidden in the crowd, don't worry, Will and Chris won’t get involved in the match unless one of your snowflakes come out to help you, otherwise they will just be two other members of the crowd watching me whoop your ass from pillar to post.
The odds are even Noah, and that's not good for you, because at the end of the day when it's all said and done, you know, deep down you KNOW
I'm better than you.
"Who is JFK?"

Do you know why Germany lost World War 2 Noah?
It's because they thought they could fight a two sided war. They thought they could take on Europe, and Russia, at the same time.
And well, we know how that turned out for them now don't we Noah?
In case you are not a history buff like I am.
They lost.
Now, they say that we should learn from history, or we are doomed to repeat it.
In today's day and age that has never rang more true.
Especially for you Noah.
You're looking past me Noah, in your mind you've already beaten me and you are on to your next challenge, Cable Arcane.
Spoiler alert Noah.
You are fighting a two sided war, and it's not going to end well for you son.
You keep looking past me boy, and you're not going to see the knee flying towards your chin.
You're going to miss me pulling the hammer out, and you’re going to be out cold when I drive home that Final Nail into the coffin of your title reign.
Invictus rules boy, means I can do whatever I want, however I want.
And I want to punish you boy, I want to beat you within an inch of your life, I am going to hurt you so bad Noah that you are not even going to MAKE it to your match with Cable Arcane.
They will have to drag your limp carcass out to that ring so Cable can get the quick one two three, and be done with your sorry ass once and for all.
There will be a Metamorphosis this Sunday Noah, the House crumbles, and I'm the dynamite that breaks the foundation.
And a new Invictus champion will arise from the ashes. One that actually gives a shit about that title, and what it represents, one that will represent the history, honor, and prestige of that title, one that the IWF and its fans can be proud of.
James Franklin Karn.
"Something people don't know about JFK?"

One.
One can be a beginning, and an end.
When you count upwards, you start at one.
When you count backwards you end with one before there is nothing at zero.
The Chosen One.
The Devilish One.
The Handsome One.
The Cunning One.
The Sly One.
I've been all these ones and more Noah.
But that doesn’t matter to you, and it shouldn’t. What I was in the past, has no bearing on what I will be in the future.
The Future is now Noah, it's this Sunday at the American Airlines Arena right here in the heart of Miami Florida. My home town, my back yard where I will have twenty thousand good brothers and sisters giving me all their energy, cheering me on, and watching me become the most important One in your life Noah.
You go around bragging about how you are going to beat me and go on to be ten and oh while defending that Invictus Championship.
News flash Noah. I'm your one.
Nine and One. That's what you are going to be after I am done with you Noah Fields. After I take all that energy from the fans, all the frustration I've had with you and the house, and I unleash hell on your ass, you will know by the end of the night, that you should have never overlooked me, that you should have not worried about what you are going to Cable Arcane, but that you should have been concentrating on your ONE.
I'm the one that's going to destroy the foundation the House stands on, I'm the one that's going to draw first blood and take away one of the belts you have a death grip on. I'm the one that's going to take the IWF out of the darkness that is the shadow of the House and bring it to the light that is KIWA.
I'm the ONE that's going to crack that pretty little skull of yours over my knee and drive home the Final Nail in your very forgettable title run.
I'm the ONE that's going to take that Invictus Championship and bring it back to the prestige that it deserves.
You've never faced someone like me Noah, you've never been in that ring with a man of my caliber, of my talent, of my drive and determination. You've never danced with the Devil Noah, and he's been patently waiting his turn.
This Sunday you step into MY HOUSE Noah, and seeing as this is a stand your ground state, I will defend my house, indiscriminately. And if any of your little cucks from the House of Howlett decide to step foot into MY RING, IN MY HOUSE....well I have bullets with their name on it ready to aim and fire.
So enjoy this day Noah, enjoy this ONE last day as champion, because after Sunday, you leave the Triple A nine and ONE, and I leave as the NEW IWF Invictus Champion.
Sucks to be you.
