Gods, Monsters, Diamonds.
In the end, none of it matters, none of it it real, all that matters is who is standing when the dust has cleared, none of us are special we fight, because that's what we're programmed to do, survive, fight, feed the whole nine yards , we exist to propagate the infection that is the human race.
And Infection that is killing us.
After all, when there's no more room in Hell, The dead will walk the earth.
And we are the dead.
The camera fades in to headlights igniting the road, dim half light illuminating her face as she travels onwards, ever onwards, looking for the next safe haven even as she kept the radio off and hoped the engine wouldn't make anyone aware of her presence, she could feel it bruising under her skin, blood and bone pressing against the air of a split knuckle from the guy at the bar who wouldn't take no for an answer, a casual reminder that sort of thing wasn't proper for aldy to to , smiling at the violence through a sea of cries.
All the while the sky was burning orange with a rising sun and she realised she didn't have long before the IWF was ready to receive her.
She remembered the face of the scout, he'd given her a brief lowdown of the sort of competition she'd be facing, and already she had seen kindred spirits among their ranks, among their names people she could count on to try and stab her in the back or take the fiercest fight to her at the earliest opportunity.
They would have to be given a proper welcome.
And so we fade in
The screen is currently blank before it's filled with the EAS Screen for just a moment before footage cuts in to Max , gas mask and all leant against the ropes of aring, barely lit as she look about and pops off the mask to expose her features to start talking.
"My Name Is Maxine Valentine, but you can call me Max, the world around you is a prison. Television, the internet it hides the truth from us, the truth is we're all infected with a weakness of the soul, a virus that spreads until the outbreak occurs and the only solution is to drop a bomb and wipe everything clean."
Max smirks and leans forwards, a hands idly wringing as she flexes and grins.
"The Diamonds are rife with this plague, they fight it as hard as they can, but in the end Humanity claims them and all they can do is wail like mewling children in a world slowly going more and more mad, where the only sane thing is who is right...and who is cast aside"
Quick, chaotic shots of the Diamonds in the Rough competitors flicker on the screen even as Max's smirk begins to grow deeper and deeper eyes burning as she looks into the camera and keeps that same level of speech, like a part of her had died inside a long time ago, through the camera through the audience almost a stare that gazes into forever.
"You've heard this talk before, about how the war wil lcome and there will be horror, about how faith will guide the way and through faith, guidance will be fdn, you will doubtless har more words from lambs happily walking their way to a fight where the only thing we're fighting for is your amusement and our own damned pride, many will enter one will leave. And from what I see three of us will stop at nothing, because we... don't ....care."
Max shakes her head and grins a little more.
"I think I'm going to like it here IWF, and that is more's the pity for any of you, but i will give any of the diamond this one, moment for mercy, for stepping beyond the ropes Next week? I will show you none, So some of you have this one chance, just one to End the horror ....Just Walk away, Walk away and I will spare you...Stay and a Trait of Violence awaits....Is your..pride worth that much?"
Max smirks a little closer and grins.
"Which one of you gets to be patient Zero? The Outbreak has already begun... I am one of the living, and one of the dead. Join us."
We cut back the EAS Broadcast card with a Countdown timer
