The camera comes on with a view of Pax Stormcrow. He is sitting in an examination room as a doctor monitors him as he slowly moves his head around on his neck. The doctor gives an approving nod before walking from the room. The young wrestler turns to the camera.
"Ya, I wasn't able to make it to Sacrifice. Doctors didn't clear me to compete and management thought it might be best if I just stayed away for the evening. There was concern that I might..." He lifts his fingers into air quotes. "'Do something rash'"
He shrugs his shoulders.
"I mean, I probably wouldn't. I was really mad though. I think I have made it clear that I don't really like bullies. But I guess, if I don't run around and beat my chest while throwing around empty words that means I'm not doing anything."
He smiles at the camera.
"I guess I should have put together a stable to stand against the Pack that ultimately didn't do anything. Except for Astrid and Bob Pooler, the rest of your Watch Dogs just puffed out their chests and made noise. Plus, it's not like Astrid and Bob got where they were with much help from you."
He hops of the examination table and stretches out.
"I'll give it to you, ya put me through a hell of a match. I have never experienced anything in my life like it before. It really opened my eyes. Made me realize a lot of things. I mean, beyond the fact that you are a petulant bully who falls back to what is easy and familiar the moment things get a little difficult for you."
He points to his eyes and then at the camera.
"I see you Spike Kane. Just an old man, fighting to stay relevant. Interesting timing too. You didn't bring out the blood god against Dean Harper. Were you afraid of what he would do to you? Nah, let's bring it out against the new kid. He's nothing to be afraid of. He hasn't done much of anything. Surely that won't backfire."
He laughs and shakes his head.
"But hey, let's find out if you are right, eh Spike? Let's see if I am someone to be afraid of crossing. Open Fight night is coming up, and I'm cleared to compete. I know ya like to attack people not involved in matches. I know ya like having help. Let's take care of that. You and me, Spike. In a cage together. You can bring whatever toys you want to play with in there. That's fine with me."
He grins, moving closer to the camera.
"If I am such a push over, why not put that belt of yours on the line too. What have ya got to loose? After all, I'm just Pax Stormcrow."
The camera fades as Pax smirks in it's view
