The scene fades in on the Diamonds Championship, sitting atop the wooden table top. My red colored nails slowly come into the picture as I wrap them around the top of my title belt and pull it into my body.
Alexis, everything I said at Open Fight Night...I meant. My sister and I truly are grateful that a now Hall of Famer like yourself took us under your wing. We traveled together as your husband was on the mend. You allowed us to pick your brain and you answered just about every question we could possibly have. Then, when we needed somewhere to stay, you and your husband opened your doors to us, and again, we’re grateful.
I look down at MY title belt.
But then you set your eyes upon my championship and you called it your cute little pet name, and then you made the final mistake of the evening...you said, you were going to possibly have to TAKE this from me.
The look on my face tells it all. I am quite frankly offended by those words.
I know you’ve been gone for quite sometime, but in the time you’ve been gone...I’VE been the one to carry this division in the absences of the former heavy hitters. I took all the advice you gave me, and all the pointers, and I applied it to my craft. I made myself better, just like you told us to do, and I made myself THE champion. I did something not even you could do...I beat Jessica Reed!
There was a smile as big as the Grand Canyon on my face. The sense of achievement was quite overwhelming.
So the very moment you thought you could stare at MY belt and just think you’re going to take it from me is the moment you just set me off, and now? Now, you’re going to pay for it.
The days of Alexis as queen are over and a new queen has assumed her throne.
I hold my title overhead.
The ascension of Paige Garcia and the Garcia Brand started when I became the Longest Reigning Shieldmaiden in IWF History, and it only grew bigger when I won this belt. I said a long time ago that not a single person in that locker room was going to take it from me. Not Jessica Reed, not Eternity, and now...not even you.
I point into the camera.
You’re great Alexis, and I’d be naive to not admit or recognize that, but this belt proves that I the new era has arrived and I am the head of that revolution. It shows that I’m the best, and after beating you, along with beating Jessica Reed, I will have proven that fact once...and for all.
With that, I blow a kiss to the camera as my sister switches it off.

“Because I Can”
It was right after Alexis threw down her challenge in the middle of the hallway of the arena. My sister and I had just been walked off on by Mike and Alexis and the cameras just got turned off.
Sara Garcia: Well, now, look what you’ve gotten yourself into.
Paige Garcia: There’s a point to it.
Sara Garcia: There is?
I shook my head at the naiveness of my sister.
Paige Garcia: Obviously, it’s easy to get under Alexis’ skin. This however was meant to further what this title means to both me and everyone else. I mean think about it...to beat Jessica Reed for the Championship? I mean, I’ve pinned Amber Richards in the center of that ring. We got a win over Ana Valentine-Jones-Whatever. Then I beat Alexis on top of it? The only one who would be left is Eternity. I could possibly have the best, most competitive reign in IWF history...something not a single person in this company can take away from me.
Sara nodded.
Sara Garcia: Okay, I see where you’re going here.
Paige Garcia: There’s not a single other person in the company with a reign as impressive in terms of competition.
Sara Garcia: That’s all well and good, but…
I could see the look of uneasiness on her face.
Paige Garcia: What is it?
Sara Garcia: What happens if you lose?
Paige Garcia: Pfft.
I was a little insulted by the lack of support.
Paige Garcia: I won’t! HOWEVER...if a miracle was to happen, and I did lose, I could say I went down swinging.
I readjust the title on my shoulder.
Paige Garcia: I want this title, this reign, to mean more than any other reign in the history of this company. I want my name to be recognized throughout not only this company, but this industry, and to do that, I have to beat each and every dominant female in this company...and that’s EXACTLY what I plan to do.
I walk off, my sister following as the scene fades.
