Here are some of the headlines hitting the dirt sheets this week concerning IWF, and the IWF roster. Please bare in mind, these sources are not vetted, and this information may be incorrect at the time of print.
ULF HEDNIR TO BE CAST AS THOR!
We all know that the Infinity War Avengers movies is the end point of several key cast members of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and one of those cast members is Chris Hemsworth who plays Thor Odinson. Well, we’ve heard that Ulf Hednir himself is being considered for the role once Hemsworths contract is up. Will it be the same Thor? Or perhaps one from another universe, say...the Ultimate Universe, or even the Unworthy Thor? All we know is Ulf Hednir has had a huge boost in his career in IWF, and if he IS cast in the Marvel Cinematic Universe? The sky is the limit.
DALMONS BUYING THE SHIELD MAIDEN!?
Sources have been led to believe that one of the Dalmon siblings used their substantial wealth to swing a Shield Maiden title shot Lizzy’s way this week. At this time we’re not sure if it is Lizzy or Landon who is spreading the Dalmon wealth and influence around the IWF, but to some it comes as no shock or surprise, if anything people are wondering - what took so long? Either way Lizzy DOES have a Shield Maiden shot against current champion Shea O’Hara this week, and Lizzy Dalmon has taught us….never count a Dalmon out.
CONWAY FEUD?
There’s apparently sources flying around that there’s some dissent in the Conway household. With Jake “The Ace” Conway being unable to beat Andrew Jacobsen for the Imperial Championship, and then Kathleen Conway returning to action and entering herself into the Heiress to the Throne merely a couple of weeks later? Some are saying that Kathy has taken it upon herself to show her husband how it is done and claims that the couple are racing towards their respective championships.
ROWAN MACDONNOUGH DAUGHTER OF THE DEVIL!
Take this one with a grain of salt, but several really….”out there” church groups in the mid-west have been outwardly preaching against the Wolf of the Abyss herself, Rowan MacDonnough. Several of these groups claim that Rowan is the daughter of Satan himself, and that her coming was fortold in some ancient scriptures. Unfortunately we were unable to see these scriptures, as they were only available to the “supreme scribe” which….yeah, sounds a bit sketchy.
XAVIER CROSS IS IN LOVE WITH SPIKE KANE!
This is one for all the tumblr fans out there, and for all those fans who like to “ship” things. Rumour going around i that Xavier Cross keeps singling out Spike Kane, and making rather homophobic comments towards him - is because he’s actually in love with the Hall of Famer, and is projecting his feelings onto him. Most people would think it harkens back to when Spike Kane crucified Xavier Cross on live television, but this rumour is starting to gather quite a lot of traction, especially with Xavier's rather crude vocabulary always seeming to end up veering towards Spike in one way, or another. True or not? We’d just like to let Xavier know, that there is no judgement here. We’re a very open and accepting group of people here in the professional wrestling world…..well, mostly.
