Hey everyone Jenny Williams here. I have a few things that I want to get off of my mind. First and foremost I honestly didn’t know what I was getting into when I decided to sign back up with this great company of IWF. I am 31 years of age and in a few months I will be turning 32. I thought by taking my place back on the roster I would instantly find my way back into a premier spot on the Diamonds Roster.
I thought I could relive my glory days and would be in the thick and the thin of the hunt and none of these other bimbos would be able to touch me but I was mistaken. Keira Hunter managed to pick me apart and more importantly than that she was able to beat me in the center of the ring.
I would be lying if I said I wasn’t upset by what happened in the ring but when did women’s wrestling get dominated by the twenty something year old sensation? Why is it that experience and being a seasoned veteran doesn’t mean anything anymore?
I want to go back to the old days when I was on top of the wrestling world and Kathy Conway was right there beside me. When we ran the wrestling world as the ACE’s Queens. As a matter of fact I do believe that is when I was at my best because it was during those days when I had two successful NCW World Starlet Championship reigns and I couldn’t be touched.
That’s when wrestling was great and I hope that we can relive those days again. To be honest one of the greatest things I have seen lately in IWF is seeing Kathy Conway emerge with a big victory a few weeks ago. I know she is busy using her time running the Diamonds division and trying to build this division up to go to another level but honestly I always enjoyed seeing her compete in the ring.
I know for a fact that she has all the tools to perhaps become a Diamonds Champion just like I know I have what it takes to work my way up and become a Shield Maiden. The world should come to respect some older wrestlers so we can show them that we aren’t a dying breed and I would like to believe there’s much more in the tank.
I know for a fact that I can compete on a high level and I am going to show how much I can when I step in the ring with the Diamonds Champion. I know it may be a little out there that I can step into the ring with Pandora right now but everything is a learning curve for me. Everything is about getting my shit back in order and slowly working my way back up. It may take a day, it may take weeks, hell it may even take months, but at some point I will be where I need to be in order to get the job done.
This week it’s about taking slow steps. Learning how to crawl before I walk. Learning how to build some momentum and learning how to make an impact.
I will do exactly that as soon as the bell rings and from there it’s about going home to my lovely girlfriend and showing her that when I am passionate about something I can do just about anything. I wish you the best of luck Pandora but this week Lady Dream will dream again and personally show you that her dreams will become a reality. See you in the ring.
