SINGLES MATCH
Mikhail Federov (w/James Gilmore & Lindsey Grawn) vs Derek Brooks
----------------------------------------------------------
{Digital Summer's "Playing the Saint" blares from the Yokohama loudspeakers as we find Mikhail Federov already standing in the ring, sporting denim blue jeans, black boots, and his old Corpus Christi IceRays #44 hockey jersey. On the outside, we see James Gilmore and Lindsey Grawn hamming it up, with the latter speaking very loudly from her trusty American Patriot-themed megaphone.}[DING-DING-DING!!!]
Alison Valance: The following contest is scheduled for one fall! In the ring from Moscow, weighing 347 pounds...introducing MIKHAIL FEDEROOOOOV!!!
Vasco Dias: They say everything's bigger in Texas...well in Russia, Mikhail's bigger than YOU!
Terri Morasco: He's big TROUBLE, no question about it.
Vasco Dias: And with Gilmore and Lindsey at ringside? Hoo-boy...this is gonna get FUUUUN!
{The synthesized beginning of "Remember The Name" by Fort Minor begins to play as the crowd grows silent.}YOU READYYYY!?
LET'S GO!
{The beat breaks in and the strobe lights around the arena go with said beat as the crowd begins to amp up.}"This is ten percent luck..."
{As the lyrics begin a single spotlight shines on the man known as "Greatness" before he glances over his shoulder, staring down at the ring. With a concentrated look he slowly turns and starts down to the ring as he's announced.}Alison Valance: From New York City, weighing in at 265 pounds, he is "Greatness Personified"...DEREK BROOKS!
{He holds out his arms at the end of the walkway as his name echoes throughout the arena as the fans cheer him on. He climbs the stairs and walks along the apron to the corner where he ascends and looks out to the crowd before flinging his arm in the air much to their appease. He jumps down and steps through the ropes, walking to the center, bouncing around, light as a cat despite his large frame as he gazes out to the crowd before snapping around, climbing the corner and flinging his arm in the air again as the flashbulbs go off everywhere. He jumps down and continues bouncing from one foot to the other in a graceful manner as he waits for the match to begin.}Terri Morasco: Derek Brooks looks like he's ready to take a swipe at Federov.
Vasco Dias: But what ya DON'T realize...is that this match was over before he even came out here!
[DING!]
{True to his words from lat week, Derek Brooks immediately goes after the much larger Mikhail Federov, beating and banging on the ex-hockey enforcer's ribs with a series of rights and lefts, moving away ater each combination, moving away to avoid the Russian's wild swings and sticking him again in the torso. Brooks, much to the Japanese crowd's silent looks of awe and wonder, shoots Federov into the ropes; Mikhail bounces off the strands and into a cradlehook Samoan Drop that shakes the ring!}Vasco Dias: ZOINKS!!!
Terri Morasco: That's 347 pounds that Derek just plastered to the deck as if it was nothing!
{James Gilmore, at ringside, is going bananas like an ejected baseball manager throwing an on-field tantrum! On the megaphone, we hear Lindsey Grawn shout "DEREK BROOKS IS A WOMANIZER!" among other things, encouraging Mikahail to get back in the fight. Brooks, though, has other ideas as he locks in an armbar.}Terri Morasco: And Brooks is showing no fear! He's talking trash to the big guy!
Vasco Dias: PFFFFT...wow! Federov is actually SMILING!
{Indeed, we see Mikhail's wide grin on his kisser as he takes great pleasure in absorbing the hold; the referee asks if he wants to quit but Federov, still with a smirk, shakes his head as he pulls himself back to a vertical base. Derek, holding onto his opponent's left arm still, senses the danger and applies a hammerlock slam, going for the cover yet only getting a two-count. As Brooks pulls Federov up off the mat, the latter delivers a swift front kick with his steel-toed boot squarely into his victim's ribs, prompting Derek to clutch his chest in pain!}Terri Morasco: Ouch!
Vasco Dias: {imitating Scooby-Doo} Ruh-roh Raggy!
{in normal voice} Things just got serious!
{Cackling with glee, Mikhail watches Derek writhe on the canvas in pain for a moment; then, at the moment we hear Lindsey screaming "KILL THAT SUMBITCH!", Federov goes on the attack, YANKING Brooks up by the hair and throwing him into the corner like a rag doll! He then proceeds to pull his opponent's head down, mimics pulling a hockey sweater over, and just NAILS him with a solid uppercut that sends Brooks reeling into the buckles! Then the fun REALLY starts as Federov starts beating the living piss out of the New Yorker with right hand after right hand--ONE AFTER THE OTHER!!!}Terri Morasco: Derek Brooks is getting slaughtered out there!
Vasco Dias: That's what happens when ya piss a giant off!
{Federov sends Brooks for the ride; the latter bounces off the ropes...and into a MASSIVE clothesline that sends him flying head over heels and onto the mat! Smiling from ear to ear, the Moscow native PULLS HIS RIVAL UP BY THE TRUNKS AND SENDS HIM FLYING OVER THE TOP ROPE AND ONTO THE FLOOR WITH A FOREARM LARIAT!!!!}Vasco Dias: Ohhhhh MY! Derek's in dead man's land now!
Terri Morasco: I had a feeling this was gonna be a mugging but...gimme a break, somebody's gotta stop this!
{Whilst the ref is busy giving Mikhail a stern talking-to about rules and regs, we see James Gilmore AND Lindsey Grawn, like a pack of wolves smelling blood, go on the attack and put the boots to him! The fans "ooh" and "aah" as Gilmore and Grawn continue the barrage of kicks and punches as Federov screams fiercly, waving his arms up and down like a wild animal! Eventually the ref comes to his senses, but it's not nearly in time as Gilmore dumps Brooks back into the ring and simply yells "I'M INNOCENT!"}Terri Morasco: Innocent, my BUTT! This is the numbers game at its worst!
Vasco Dias: What did I tell ya?! This match was done before it even got started!
{Mikhail seizes the initiative once more, showing off some wrestling skill as he applies a trio of back-crunching vertical suplexes that get him a count of two! Federov stands up and snarls at his opponent before methodically pulling him back to his feet...but just as he is about to go for the kill with a devastating short-armed clothesline, Derek ducks underneath and manages to get in his "Happenstance" Irish Curse backbreaker--to the Yokohama folks' delight! He goes for the pin, talking trash to Federov the whole time....}1...!
2...!!
THREEEEEEAAAAAWWWWWWWWW....!!!!!!!
{Derek shakes his head as the dude in stripes holds up the dreaded two fingers! The New Yorker THOUGHT he had this match won! But he keeps on truckin' along, placing Mikhail into position for his dreaded DISPLAY OF GREATNESS finishing maneuver! Unfortunately for him, Federov senses trouble and squirms out of the predicament, eventually lifting Brooks over his shoulders like a sack of potatoes before placing him in a cutthroat torture rack position--a la James Gilmore! The crowd groans as Federov tilts forward, hitting Brooks with his boss' own NUCLEAR OPTION!} Vasco Dias: WOW! Mikhail did that move better than James! This is game over right there!
Terri Morasco: But Federov's not going for the pin! This could be a mistake!
{Indeed instead of going for the sure-fire win, Mikhail Federov simply plays to the groaning audience, waving his arms and screaming "AMERICA, NUMBER ONE! RUSSIA, NUMBER ONE! IWF--HA!" before spitting on Derek Brooks who's clutching his back on the canvas! Federov continues taunting the crowd, completely unaware that Brooks, slowly but guided by his own willpower alone, has managed to get to his feet. Gilmore starts yelling at Federov who turns around and sees Derek stumbling to his feet. He uncorks what looks like it’s going to be a massive Clothesline but Derek ducks...DISPLAY OF GREATNESS!!}1...!
2...!!
THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
[DING-DING-DING!!!]
{Derek Brooks gets up to celebrate his victory...}Terri Morasco: WHAT THE HELL!?
{Mikhail Federov clubs Derek from behind and starts to go apeshit, grabbing the referee, lifting him up high over his head, and with a running start...HE THROWS THE 185 POUND OFFICIAL OVER THE TOP ROPE AND INTO THE FIRST ROW!} [DING-DING-DING-DING-DING-DING-DING-DING-DING-DING-DING-DING-DING-DING-DING-DING-DING-DING-DING-DING!!!!!!]
Terri Morasco: That's a referee, dammit! And Mikhail Federov is acting like an uncaged animal!
Vasco Dias: And look who's next, Terri...
{Federov marches over to the corner, the victorious Brooks in the back with a massive forearm shiver as James Gilmore hops in the ring and pounces on his victim! The pair stomp Derek into the mat as Lindsey Grawn hops into the ring and shouting unintelligible directions to the pair; yet Gilmore and Federov get the message as they plaster the hapless New Yorker to the mat with a double-DDT! We then hear one last command from Miss Grawn...}Lindsey Grawn: TIME TO MAKE IMPERIAL GREAT AGAIN--SURF'S UP!!!
{...and the angry, spiteful tone of her voice would act as the cue for what they've got planned! Gilmore and Federov hop to the outside and look underneath the ring, pulling out the red, white, and blue American flag-themed boogie board that James uses whilst out on the beach!} [DING-DING-DING-DING-DING-DING-DING-DING-DING-DING-DING-DING-DING-DING-DING-DING-DING-DING-DING-DING!!!!!!]
{The bell continues ringing as the two men, after sliding the object into the ring, reach underneath the apron once more to pull out a small white bin! James, laughing his ass off the whole time, opens up the bin to reveal its contents...BARBED WIRE!}Vasco Dias: Oh, now THIS is hardcore!
Terri Morasco: What are they gonna do with that barbed wire?! Are they...OH DEAR GOD, NO!?!
Vasco Dias: DEAR GOD, YEAH!!! THEY'RE WRAPPING THE SURFBOARD IN BARBED WIRE!!! I LOVE IT!!!
{Yep, Vasco's right. Gilmore, holding the surfboard steady, watches as Mikhail--with great swiftness and precision--wraps the patriotic boogieboard in the razor-sharp barbed wire before sliding it underneath the bottom up and back into the ring! Federov drags the unconscious Derek Brooks into the corner and props him into a seated position. Gilmore, with a sinister politician's smirk on his mug, places his toy so that it rests comfortably across his victim's face, like a trash can!}Terri Morasco: Oh no...get some referees out here!
Vasco Dias: Looks like James is about to...LOOK OUT!!!
{James, laughing with crazed intentions in his eyes, ascends the ropes until he climbs up to the top of the adjacent corner turnbuckle! Lindsey sticks out her tongue, wagging her finger as Gilmore flies off the top strand...AND CONNECTS WITH A COAST TO COAST DROPKICK THAT CRUNCHES THE BARBED WIRE BOOGIEBOARD RIGHT INTO THE FACE OF DEREK BROOKS!!!!}Vasco Dias: JESUS!!! Now THAT’S how you make a statement!
Terri Morasco: This is sick!
{No music plays as Gilmore and Company celebrate their triumph, leaving the lasting image of a broken down, battered, and bloodied Derek Brooks in the corner, his face completely covered in barbed wire!}----------------------------------------------------------
SEGMENT
”A Year’s Time…”
----------------------------------------------------------
{We open up to find Jayson Matthews as he walks into the locker room. He sets his gear bag down and picks a locker. Just then Cable Arcane walks into the same locker room with his gear bag. They stare at each other for a few moments. They faced each other one year ago at this event and both of them would have very different careers to follow. But yet hear they were, one year later, at the same event. This time, Jayson didn't freeze up.}Jayson Matthews: Can’t believe it's been a year since we faced each other for the Imperial Title. It feels like so long ago.
{Cable gives a slow nod.}Cable Arcane: Yeah. You really have come along way, Jayson.
Jayson Matthews: Yeah you too. I mean you've always been a hall of fame level badass. But I mean your a lot more tolerable to be around. Heh heh.
{Jayson chuckles at his harmless joke and even Cable cracked a bit of a smile at his own expense.}Cable Arcane: Yeah, well I mean it. From the chump I wiped the floor with to the champ I see before me right now, you've come so far in just a year. If this Jayson Matthews was in the ring with me last year, things might have been different.”
Jayson Matthews: Woah, woah….just “might”?
{Jayson smiles and shrugs his shoulders and holds his arms out, trying to cue Cable into saying more. Any possible semblance of niceness and warmth drains from Cable’s face and he glares back at the smiling Matthews.}Cable Arcane: That’s all you're gonna get.
{Jayson takes a step back with arms up in the air trying to show Cable he was harmless.}Jayson Matthews: That's fine. I’ll take it.”
{Jayson looked up at Cable and smile genuinely. Hearing those words from him felt good. It was almost validation.}Jayson Matthews: Thanks Cable, that means a lot.
{Cable gave him a nod, and then starts heading for the door.}Cable Arcane: Good luck kid….try not to get your ass kicked so much though.
{Cable heads out the door and Jayson just nods his head}Jayson Matthews: Thanks…
{He says to no one in the room.}Jayson Matthews: ….great advice….
{He looks away and sighs sarcastically.}Jayson Matthews: ….why didn’t I think of that?
{He shakes his head as the scene fades.}----------------------------------------------------------
STREET FIGHT
Cable Arcane will earn consideration for an opportunity to face Roberto Verona if he survives this match for 20 minutes.
Cable Arcane vs Ivar and Bjorn Ulriksson
----------------------------------------------------------
{The lights in the arena dim and strobe red as "Long live the Chief” by Jidenna begins to play.}****as fighting over rings
****as wanna be the King, but
Long Live the Chief
For a li' ol' thang lil' boys bang bang
Long Live the Chief
****as fighting over rings
****as wanna be the king, but
Long Live the Chief
Now watch pretty mama while I slang my cane
Long Live the Chief
Uh
{As the song kicks into gear Cable Arcane marches out onto the ramp with his head bowed and fists clenched, he stands at the center of the stage with a spot light shining down on him in the darkness.}Alison Valance: The following handicap match is a Street Fight! If Cable Arcane can survive twenty minutes, he will earn consideration for an opportunity to face Roberto Verona! Introducing first, from Hartford, Connecticut, weighing in at 220 pounds, Cable Arcane!
Terri Morasco: The word of the night is survival. Cable has to go twenty minutes with two mountains of men in order to even have a chance at getting his hands on Roberto Verona. I don't know how he'll do it, but if anyone has the tools in his toolbox to do so, it's Cable Arcane.
Vasco Dias: This is a sanctioned execution, Terri, and a lesson to the rest of the roster: don't cross the boss.
{Finally Cable rolls his head to crack his neck and starts to make his way down the ramp with a determined look on his face, completely ignoring the crowd. As he walks down the ramp, however, the Ulrikssons explode out from behind the curtain, slamming into Cable with a vicious double clothesline to the back of his head! Cable tumbles head over heels down the ramp, the Ulrikssons stalking after him with intent glares on their faces.}Terri Morasco: What in the hell?! He hasn't even finished his entrance!
Vasco Dias: I love it! Expect the unexpected, Cable, especially from our illustrious COO!
{The Ulrikssons lay boots into Cable, rolling him down the ramp, and haul him roughly to his feet. They flank him, one on each side, and each man hooks one of Cable's arms, looking at the ring. They take a few steps forward, practically dragging Cable with them, until they both throw their arms forward, launching Cable up and over the ropes INTO the ring with a double hip toss! Cable lands hard on his back, and one of the Ulrikssons stalks over to a corner, climbing onto the apron as the other climbs up into the ring. The one in the ring shouts at the referee, gesturing at him, and the referee reluctantly turns to ring the bell. As soon as he does, the in-ring Ulriksson covers!
ONE! TWO! KICKOUT! Cable throws his shoulder up, much to the delight of the crowd!}Terri Morasco: This match is underway, and if the Ulrikssons had their way, it would have been over just as quickly!
Vasco Dias: Ivar knows they aren't getting paid by the hour tonight. That's why he went for that cover so quickly. The sooner they get done, the sooner they can spend some of that hard-earned cash.
Terri Morasco: Glad you know the difference, Vasco.
Vasco Dias: What, you don't? Racist bastard.
{Ivar pulls Cable up, laying into him with a clubbing forearm to the side of his head. Bjorn drops from the apron, kneeling and searching under the ring as Ivar delivers another brutal strike to Cable, continuing to batter him. Ivar grabs Cable's arm, hurling him across the ring into the corner with a huge Irish whip, and comes chasing in after him with a huge body avalanche! Bjorn pulls out a steel chair first, sliding it into the ring, and then follows up with a table, climbing onto the apron afterwards. Ivar drags Cable over to the corner where Bjorn is waiting, and tags in his brother.}Terri Morasco: Wait, they have to tag in and out?
Vasco Dias: You tag in and out in handicap matches. They're not savages, Terri.
{Bjorn steps into the ring, and they begin hammering on Cable, ignoring the referee's demands that Ivar leave the ring. Bjorn hooks the chair with the tip of his boot, sliding it towards the center of the ring. He grabs Cable in a sidewalk slam position, taking a few steps back towards the center of the ring, near the chair. Ivar charges in, delivering a nasty big boot to Cable's head, and Bjorn uses the momentum to spin through into a sidewalk slam on the chair! Bjorn drops down to cover as Ivar heads to the corner!
ONE! TWO! THR—KICKOUT! Again, Cable throws his shoulder up!}Terri Morasco: Talk about resiliency! Cable Arcane is taking some punishment here, and he's refusing to stay down! That drive to get to Verona is pushing him through the pain!
Vasco Dias: I always knew Cable had more guts than brains. Maybe once the Ulrikssons are done tearing him apart, we'll be able to find some more proof?
Terri Morasco: That got dark, Vasco.
{Bjorn shakes his head, mounting the smaller Arcane and beginning to rain down hammer-fist strikes on him. Cable manages to block one, countering with a vicious right from underneath that dazes Bjorn, rocking him back slightly. Cable uses the opening to push Bjorn up with a double palm strike to his chest, giving him an opening to slip underneath Bjorn and roll to his feet. As Bjorn turns to meet Cable, he's met with a HUGE leaping knee strike that dazes the giant! Cable takes a few steps back, charging and delivering another one that drives Bjorn into the corner! Cable takes a few deeps breaths, roaring in fury, before charging into the corner and rocking Bjorn with a third knee strike, followed by him hooking the big man's head and running out with a bulldog! Cable gets to his feet, just in time to see Ivar step between the ropes, glaring daggers at him. Cable looks over at Bjorn before looking back to Ivar incredulously.}Terri Morasco: What happened to tagging in?! I thought you said they had to tag in!
Vasco Dias: I said they WERE, not that they HAD to. Try to keep up, Morasco.
{Cable shrugs, beckoning for Ivar to bring it. The big man charges him, only for Cable to swiftly sidestep him and send Ivar crashing chest-first into the turnbuckles! Cable uses the opening to roll under the bottom rope, Bjorn beginning to stand again. Cable ducks under the apron, quickly retrieving a kendo stick, and he turns around to see Bjorn rolling out of the ring and growling at him. Cable beckons the big man to charge him, and Bjorn does. Cable dodges out of the way again, leaving Bjorn to go flying past him! The big man pulls up short of the ringpost, but as he turns back towards Cable, he's greeted with a huge kendo stick to the back of his knee! Bjorn buckles to his knee, and Cable unleashes a withering barrage of shots to his head and shoulders, Bjorn trying to fend them off. One slips through his guard and cracks Bjorn in the temple, sending the big man slumping back against the ring steps! Cable fist-pumps and grins, nodding as the crowd roars its approval.}Terri Morasco: What was that about having more guts than brains, Vasco? Seems to me like Cable's outsmarting Verona's goons.
Vasco Dias: He's got a lucky break. And he can't focus too long on one of them...
{Indeed, as Cable turns to check on Ivar, he's met with a huge chairshot to the head! Cable crumples back, dropping the kendo stick, and Ivar helps his brother up, checking on him. The Ulrikssons turn back to Cable, grabbing him and dragging him up. Bjorn gets Cable in a spinebuster position, charging and ramming him spine-first into the ring apron! Cable lets out a cry of pain, and Bjorn rams him into the apron again before turning and locking him in a bearhug. Ivar charges, letting out a roar, and impressively leaps enough to clear Bjorn's head and complete a HART ATTACK on the outside! Cable's head snaps off the protective mats with a dull thud, and the crowd oohs at the impact. The Ulrikssons take a step back, grinning at their handiwork as the referee slips outside to check on Cable.}Terri Morasco: Oh GOD! Cable could have cracked his skull on the floor there! He might be out!
Vasco Dias: As I was saying: focus too long on one of them, and the other will take advantage. The Ulrikssons are working as a well-oiled tandem here! Roberto is going to get his money's worth here tonight!
{Cable waves off the referee, insisting he can continue, and indeed he pushes himself up to a kneeling base, glaring at the Ulrikssons as they turn back around. A look of confusion crosses their faces, but they quickly turn to looks of hatred. The two men close on Cable, who quickly turns and takes off at a sprint in the other direction. Bjorn keeps chasing him, and Ivar turns to run the other direction, the two big men clearly intending to pincer Cable. As Cable rounds the far corner, he notices Ivar running at him. Thinking fast, he stumbles, clutching at his knee with one hand. Ivar picks up speed, and the Ulrikssons each round a corner at the same time, Cable stuck in the middle. They nod to each other, roaring and charging at Cable to sandwich him with a double lariat, but Cable's knee "miraculously" recovers in time for him to leap up onto the apron, causing the Ulrikssons to crash into each other with vicious lariats! Cable wastes no time, delivering a running Penalty Kick to the chest of Ivar, then turning around and doing the same to Bjorn! Both men stagger, and Cable whips around again, delivering a second round of kicks to both men before charging at Ivar and leaping off the apron with a lunging clothesline that takes the big man down!}Terri Morasco: Once again, speed and smarts deliver Cable Arcane from disaster, and that's Ivar down!
Vasco Dias: Remember what happened the last time he focused on one Ulriksson! He can't let himself be distracted too long, Terri.
Terri Morasco: If anyone remembers, it's Cable Arcane.
{Indeed, Cable gets to his feet, eyes flashing with defiant determination, and he leaps back up on the apron, charging after Bjorn and looking for a third Penalty Kick. As he kicks, though, Bjorn shifts and catches his other leg, sweeping him off his feet and driving him into the apron with a vicious POWERBOMB! Cable spasms, clutching his back as he sinks to the floor, and Bjorn slaps the crumpled Cable, shouting at him angrily. He reaches under the ring, drawing out a length of steel chain, and doubles it up in his hand, whipping Cable viciously across the back. Cable screams in pain again, and Bjorn walks over to Ivar, roughly hauling him up to his feet. Bjorn points into the ring, handing Ivar the chain, and Ivar nods, sliding in and beginning to wind the chain around his right arm. Bjorn hauls Cable up by the hair, slinging him into the ring, and climbs in after Cable, eyes full of bloodlust. Bjorn hauls Cable to his feet, getting him into position for a Russian legsweep, and Ivar hits the ropes, delivering a chain-assisted LARIAT as Bjorn snaps back with the legsweep! Blood gushes from Cable's forehead, and Bjorn covers as Ivar shakes out his arm!
ONE! TWO! THREE! NO! The referee is insisting that Cable kicked out at the last nanosecond! Ivar turns, roaring in the official's face!}Terri Morasco: How in the HELL did Cable kick out again?! I could have sworn that was three!
Vasco Dias: It was! That referee is an idiot! FIRE HIS ASS! DO YOU HEAR ME?!
Terri Morasco: Impartiality, not in Vasco Dias' vocabulary. The Ulrikssons need to pick it up, though. They've only got a few more minutes before they hit that twenty-minute mark, and Roberto Verona does NOT want that to happen.
{Ivar just stalks over to the table, retrieving it and propping it up in the corner asBjorn grabs Cable by the throat, hauling him to his feet. Cable lashes out with a kick to the groin as he's picked up, though, dropping the big man to a knee! Cable grabs Bjorn's shoulders, delivering a pair of vicious knees to the stomach, and steps back for a moment before whipping about and delivering a brutal spinning backfist to Bjorn's temple! The big man slumps to the side, and Cable straddles him, beginning to rain down elbow strikes on Bjorn! Ivar finally looks back, nostrils flaring, and he charges, big booting Cable off of his brother. Not wasting any time, he slings Cable up on his shoulder like a sack of potatoes before charging and putting him through the propped-up table in the corner with a brutal POWERSLAM! Ivar covers again!
ONE! TWO! THRE—KICKOUT AGAIN! Ivar pounds the mat, grabbing the official and shaking him roughly while screaming at him!}Terri Morasco: Another miraculous kickout from Cable Arcane! They're gonna have to kill him to keep him down!
Vasco Dias: They may just do that. The Ulrikssons want BLOOD, and not just that little gusher they got from him earlier.
{Bjorn staggers to his feet, shaking his head, and stumbles over to his brother, shouting something to him. Ivar turns, listening, and nods, stalking back over to Cable's prone form. He pulls him up to his feet, slapping him a few times, before slinging him over his shoulder again. Bjorn grabs the steel chair, a vicious grin on his face, and winds it up like a baseball bat, taking a few practice swings as the Ulrikssons turn to face each other, the crowd registering its shock and disapproval.}Terri Morasco: Oh God, if they throw Cable into that chairshot, they could break his neck! They can't do this! They CAN'T do this!
Vasco Dias: They can and they will. Say goodbye to Cable Arcane, everyone!
{As Ivar preps to hurl Cable to his doom, however, a familiar figure leaps the rail in street clothes! The crowd absolutely ERUPTS in cheers, and Bjorn turns around just in time to have the chair driven into his face by the LIGHTS OUT from ANDREW JACOBSEN! The Imperial Champion's patented superkick levels the big man, and Ivar's shock is enough for Cable to wriggle off of his shoulders, delivering another low blow to Ivar!}Terri Morasco: ANDREW JACOBSEN! THE NORTH STAR IS HERE, AND HE JUST PUT BJORN ULRIKSSON'S LIGHTS OUT!
Vasco Dias: What?! WHAT?! HE'S NOT SUPPOSED TO BE HERE! THIS ISN'T FAIR! THIS ISN'T RIGHT! THIS IS BULLSH—
Terri Morasco: Oh, shut the HELL up about fair and right! We've been watching a damn mugging! Andrew was screwed out of a spot on the card by Verona, and now he's repaying the favor!
{Andrew shouts something at Cable, who dazedly nods, and the two men move to opposite corners of the ring, Ivar kneeling in the center between them. They look up, locking eyes, and nod again before charging in, Andrew connecting with a low-angle Lights Out as Cable delivers a leaping knee strike to the back of Ivar's head! The big man crumples to the mat as the timer appears on the Titantron, and Andrew high-fives Cable as the crowd counts down.
TEN! NINE! EIGHT! SEVEN! SIX! FIVE! FOUR! THREE! TWO! ONE! ZERO! The bell rings, and "Long Live the Chief" hits the PA as Cable collapses to his knees, whooping in victory through his crimson mask!}Alison Valance: Here is your winner, Cable Arcane!
Vasco Dias: Cable Arcane won NOTHING! He cheated! Andrew Jacobsen cheated for him! That son of a bitch shouldn't even be in the ring right now! WHERE THE HELL IS SECURITY?!
Terri Morasco: Assist to Andrew Jacobsen, but one moment doesn't change the fact that Cable Arcane fought with the heart and mind of a true warrior here tonight! He earned this win, no matter what you say, Vasco!
Vasco Dias: But...this is...AAARGH!
{Andrew offers Cable a hand up, and Cable takes it, being hauled to his feet. The two men nod, shaking hands as the crowd cheers them on, and Andrew steps back, offering Cable a fistbump. After a long moment, Cable accepts it, and Andrew nods again, ducking down and rolling under the bottom rope before disappearing into the crowd. Cable rolls out of the ring, stumbling back up the ramp as fast as his legs will carry him. The Ulrikssons are already beginning to stir in the ring, and as they watch Cable walk away, Arcane flashes a bloody, shit-eating grin, earning glares of pure hatred from the Ulrikssons as he staggers through the curtain.}----------------------------------------------------------
SINGLES MATCH
Due To Interference, despite it not being a Council Member, Xavier Cross has been expelled from the Heir to the Throne.
Xavier Cross vs Steve Awesome
----------------------------------------------------------
{All the lights in the arena die out and the fans in attendance start chanting
his name.}"AWE-SOME! AWE-SOME! AWE-SOME!"
{Dramatic Pause.}"REGRETS I'VE HAD MINE!"
{The lights in the arena explode to life as they flash green and black to the beat as Steve Awesome comes running out with intensity to the hyped up chorus of "Full of Regrets" by Danko Jones.}Lonely nights/ and a whole lot of wasted time!
If you see her wont you tell her for me/
It's better this way to avoid all the misery
{The chorus plays again as Steve walks down to the ring. The guitar starts soloing and Steve hops into the ring and he provocatively slips off his jacket and then spins and drops into a kneel and he flexes his arms. He gets a slow motion effect as pyro sprays behind him.} Alison Valance: "Standing at six feet, two inches...weighing in at two hundred and thirty eight pounds....He is the Face of the Francise....STEEEEVEEEE AWEEEESSSOOME!"
Vasco Dias: "Steve Awesome looks as focused as ever, he tried to do the right thing, but Xavier Cross doesn't think he's doing the smart thing."
Terri Morasco: "So he has his gang of marauders jumps Steve Awesome, who just wanted to help his buddy out."
Vasco Dias: "Tonight the two men will get their hands on one another and settle this before it gets any worse."
{Steve raises his hand, backing into the corner waiting for Xavier Cross to come out. Steve still looking a little beat up from the last beating at the hands of the Council. "Rebirth" by Bone Thugz-N-Harmony begins to blars over the speakers. The stage ignites with fire, but after a few moments. Xavier Cross hasn't appeared from behind the curtain.}Vasco Dias: "Steve Awesome looks as confused as the crowd, and us, where in the world is Xavier Cross?!"
Terri Morasco: "Is this another Council mind game?!"
Vasco Dias: "Look, at the big screen!"
{The screen changes, we see Xavier Cross sitting in a desk chair, starring up at the ceiling, leaned back. He looks down, smiling.}Xavier Cross: "Did the connection get through? Well hello Steve, Vasco, hoe the give the microphone to, and of course this wonderful Japanese audience. Did you miss your favorite champ?"
{A mixed reaction from the crowd, after referencing his past in Japan.}Xavier Cross: "You should see the look on your face, it's almost as good as when I got the phone call from IWF management that you cost me a shot in the Heir to the Throne tournament....I was pretty pissed off...but Steve...I'm realizing a few things...That I don't want to beat you buddy, oh no no Steve..."
{Cross turns the webcam around, we see Mandi Matthews and Steve's daughter sitting on a couch, both look very nervous and scared. The screen begins to crackle to static as it fades as Xavier's insane laughter is heard in the background. The cameras all turn to Steve Awesome, the color has drained from his face he looks left, and right, then down at his hands. Steve is visibly shaken, as he quickly leaps out of the ring, and into the audience, rushing towards the nearest exit.}Vasco Dias: "By god...Xavier Cross may have finally crossed the line."
Terri Morasco: "God knows what he is doing to Steve's family....what the hell is wrong with Xavier Cross."
Vasco Dias: "This...this is bad, even for Cross's standards...."

#1 CONTENDERSHIP FOR THE IMPERIAL CHAMPIONSHIP
SINGLES MATCH
Spike Kane vs Mike Laszlo
----------------------------------------------------------
{"Cult of Personality" by Living Colour hits the sound system, Mike Laszlo walking out onto the stage, followed by Alexis Caffrey, to an abundance of cheers from the crowd. Surveying those who cheer, a grin comes over his face as he heads for the ring with a confident walk, Alexis by his side holding his other hand.}Alison Valance: Making his way to the ring, accompanied to the ring by Alexis Caffrey, from Cleveland, Ohio, weighing 237 pounds…MIIIIKE LASZLOOOOO!
{The two get to the end of the ramp before Mike lifts Alexis onto the apron. She enters the ring as Mike rolls in under the bottom rope. He climbs the outside ropes to the top rope in the corner nearest the entrance ramp and poses for the crowd amassing a magnitude of cheers. He jumps down and goes to the opposite corner and does the same, garnering the same reaction. With a sly grin on his face he jumps down and backs into the corner, clasping his hands together and twirling his wrists as he gets ready for the match.}Vasco Dias: Mike Laszlo is here, and he’s determined to beat Spike Kane once and for all tonight.
Terri Morasco: He claimed it was the monkey on his back that he needed to get rid off, and that he was going to topple another God.
Vasco Dias: That’s a way of mentioning Angel without actually saying his name isn’t it?
{The crowd grow silent as the lights go out, monks chanting can be heard, as the chanting gets louder the stage area starts to fill with smoke. Suddenly, and abruptly as the drums and guitars kick in a pyro explodes around the stage.}“BROTHERS! MY BROTHERS!
Is this all what we are?
SISTERS! MY SISTERS!
We’ve been crushed by the fists of GOD!!!”
{On the word God another pyro explodes either side of the rampway as Spike Kane appears through the smoke, to a growing roar from the crowdt. He stands with his arms outstretched, fists balled up soaking in the reaction from the crowd. After a few seconds he simply heads right to the ring, rolling under the bottom rope and standing right in the center of the ring, extending his arms once more, before the lights fade to normal and the music fades.}Vasco Dias: He went back to his old theme?
Terri Morasco: We’ve seen quite a change in Spike as of late, but he’s still going for that Imperial title shot with the full gusto of the “God of Xtreme”
Vasco Dias: He had some pretty heated words for Laszlo this week, pointing out how he’s had eight Imperial Title shots but only won the title once.
Terri Morasco: From none other than Angel Blake.
Vasco Dias: Yes, recognize.
Terri Morasco: ….people don’t say that anymore.
{Both men stand in their corners as the referee checks them both independently, before he calls for the bell. Mike and Spike begin to circle each other in the ring, the crowd starting to get hot for this match, the two men have had a constant war of words for so long, with a fair bit of history between them. Laszlo steps forwards for a lock up, but Spike Kane slaps Mike Laszlo right across the face, the sound echoing through the arena, and the crowd responding with a loud “ooooh” Mike turns his head with the slap and simply stares at the floor for a few seconds}Vasco Dias: Oh damn, what a slap!
Terri Morasco: Spike showing Laszlo exactly what he thinks of him there.
{Laszlo turns around and glares right into the face of Spike Kane. The two begin to shout insults at each other, before Laszlo slaps Spike right back across the face. Kane staggers to the side from the force, and turns around, ducking under another slap from Laszlo before kneeing him in the mid section and grabbing his head. He whips Laszlo off the ropes and comes back with a powerslam, as Laszlo comes back off the ropes. Spike rises to his feet, and immediately looks to the crowd, who are kind of cheering for him.}Terri Morasco: This crowd is torn, they’re not quite sure who to cheer for, but it appears they’re leaning towards Spike Kane.
Vasco Dias: That’s because they’re idiots.
{Mike steps onto his front foot and takes a swing at Spike, but Kane manages to duck backwards under it and grab Mike Laszlo for a roll up pin, the ref hits the mat as everyone shouts out in surprise. ONE! …...TWO! …..TH-NO! Mike kicks out, and is furious at the insult Spike had sent his way from trying the pinfall right away. He rolled out of the pin and is on one knee as Spike stands with an arm on the ropes laughing at Laszlo.}Vasco Dias: He can’t think that would win, right?
Terri Morasco: I think he’s trying to get into Mike Laszlo’s head. As if to say he’s not a challenge.
{Inside the ring, Mike sprints across with impressive speed, catching Spike off guard. He slams a punch to the mid-section, then one to the shoulder, another to the leg, one more to the mid-section and then finishes the flurry off with a spinning lariat taking Kane down to the mat. Spike tries to roll with it back to his feet, but Laszlo is there with a yakuza kick right to the face that almost knocks the teeth out of the God of Xtreme. Kane simply flops back to the matt and Mike returns the insult by covering Spike. The ref hits the mat, and counts…...ONE! …….TWO! …..THREE!?!? WHAT!? Oooooh no…..Spike Kane had his foot on the ropes. The referee waves off the three count.}Vasco Dias: WHAT!?
Terri Morasco: Foot on the ropes, he got his foot on the ropes. Great ring presence.
{Mike rolls to a knee as he shrugs, not caring too much about the fall, but Spike jumps to his feet and grabs Mike throwing him to the outside through the middle ropes. Spike drops to his knees to catch a breath before going out after Mike. He sends a stiff kick to the upper back of Mike, before he rolls into the ring lying on his back before rolling back out to break the count, however as he turns to face Laszlo, Mike has clambered back to his feet and charges at Spike with a mad rage, tackling Kane to the ground. Mike unleashes a flurry of punches as he tries to vent his frustration on the God of Xtreme. After a few blocked shots, Spike drops his guard and Mike Laszlo gets a few licks in, before he climbs off of Kane, his hair a tangled mess and his face all red from the anger.}Terri Morasco: Laszlo has lost it!
Vasco Dias: He’s letting out all that frustration on Spike.
{Laszlo gives a kick or two to Spike before grabbing him and dragging him to his feet and rolling him into the ring. Mike climbs up onto the apron before taking a deep breath and launching himself over the ropes into a slingshot leg drop onto The Spiked One. Laszlo follows up with a pinfall attempt, ONE! …..TWO! Spike kicks out}Vasco Dias: Mike is pulling out all the stops here tonight.
Terri Morasco: It just goes to show what even a chance at being the Imperial Champion means to these guys.
{Mike doesn’t seem too surprised as he grabs Spike again and drags him back to his feet. This time he whips Kane off the ropes, but Spike comes sprinting back and ducks under the wild lariat from the champion, Spike then sprints to the ropes once more and comes back again rolling over Laszlo’ back as he ducks down for a monkey toss. Kane then spins around and takes Mike down with an armdrag sending “The Best in the World” across the ring. Mike rolls to his feet and runs back to Spike who takes Mike down with another arm drag sending him to the opposite side of the ring now. Angered, Laszlo rolls to his feet again and this time as Spike goes for the arm drag, Mike holds onto him, and pulls him through with a reversal arm drag of his own sending Kane towards the corner.}Terri Morasco: Great exchange there.
{Laszlo rises to his feet as Spike gets to a knee, Mike charges as Spike comes up with a rising clothesline, but Mike ducks underneath and runs up the turnbuckle, jumping backwards for a huge moonsault, but Spike jumps into the air grabbing Mike and lifting his knees forcing them both to hit the mat hard, Mike landing on Spike’s raised knees. The two of them lay on the mat on the edge of pain and exhaustion as the referee begins his ten count. ONE……...TWO……...THREE……...FOUR….Kane rolls to his knees and starts to catch his breath.}Vasco Dias: How the hell did Laszlo pull that off!? Incredible! I mean….it didn’t work, but still! INCREDIBLE!
Terri Morasco: Both men are putting it all on the line tonight. Mike Laszlo is really showing his class and ability.
{Mike climbs to his feet a little dazed and winded from the move, he stumbles a little and turns around before Spike Kane leaps to action, with a kick to the gut, BAM!! THUNDERSTRUCK!!! Laszlo flops onto the mat and Kane thinks about pinning him for a second before he drags Mike Laszlo back to his feet by his hair, before dragging Laszlo to position him in the corner. Spike slowly walks to the other side of the ring, firing up the fans as he does so. Alexis stands next to Mike shouting at him to get up. Spike leans into the opposite turnbuckle before holding his hand out like a gun at Mike and smirks.}Terri Morasco: Spike is playing with fire here, he really should have gone for the cover!
Vasco Dias: His overconfidence is going to be his downfall.
{Spike sprints across the ring, but Mike jumps to life, jumping up and diving into Spike Kane…Mike jumps in the air, grabs Spike's head, then falls back into a DDT! Mike roars and flexes his muscles after slamming Spike down hard to the floor. Spike looks out cold as Mike snarls above him. Alexis is shouting for Mike to pin Spike.}Vasco Dias: What a reversal!
{Laszlo crawls to cover Spike, but can only manage to flop an arm over him. The ref counts the cover….ONE! …..TWO! ….THRE-NO! SPIKE KICKS OUT! The crowd are on their feet for these two men, as Mike, breathing deeply slowly nods his head.}Terri Morasco: I think Laszlo is realising it’s going to take something special to put Spike Kane away.
{Laszlo drags Spike back to his feet, and he sends a swift punch to the face. Spike staggers, and Laszlo sends another, but Spike fires back with one of his own! The two begin to wail on each other, and the crowd are eating it up. Laszlo sends a quick kick to the gut catching Spike off guard, before lifting him up onto his shoulders, looking for the Malicious Intent, but Spike wriggles free! He drops down and spins Laszlo around, lifting him in the air….SPIKE IMPAILER!!!!}Vasco Dias: Oh damn, that HAS to be it.
Terri Morasco: Spike Kane could be going to face Andrew Jacobsen!
{Before Spike can cover, Alexis Caffrey climbs up onto the apron, and the referee goes over to tell her to get down. The two get into a shouting match, while Spike covers Laszlo, unaware of what's going on. The crowd chant...ONE! ...TWO! ….THREE! …..FOUR! ….FIVE! ….SIX! ...after the six, with no referee Spike drops the cover and turns around to shout at the referee. He motions to Alexis, and he pulls the referee away from her - who quickly goes to check on Mike Laszlo. With the referee's back turned Alexis sends a huge slap to the face of Spike Kane! Spike stumbles backwards, and Laszlo rolls him up for the pin! ….ONE! …..TWO! …..THREE-NO! SPIKE KICKS OUT!!! THE CROWD ARE GOING INSANE!}Terri Morasco: Alexis almost gifted Mike the win!
Vasco Dias: Perfect ring awareness there. The ref was distracted and Alexis took the advantage.
{The referee sees Alexis still on the apron, and he begins to shout at her, she shouts right back and then the referee very dramatically points towards the stage! The crowd cheer, as Alexis flips out, the referee is sending her away!}Vasco Dias: What!? He can’t do that!
Terri Morasco: Yes he can Vasco. He’s sending Alexis backstage, away from the match. Now it’s even!
{With the referee distracted, Laszlo grabs Spike as they both struggle to their feet. Laszlo drops to hit Spike with a low blow, but Spike thinks quick, and knees Laszlo right in the head! Mike Laszlo falls backwards, and looks almost out cold, Spike then looks to the crowd, before looking to the turnbuckle. He climbs up and stands tall on the top turnbuckle before he leaps through the air…..BURNING STAR!!!! The crowd are going absolutely nuts! Spike lands with a thud on Mike Laszlo, but just enough for a pinfall, the ref slides in for the count…..ONE! …..TWO! …..THREE!!!! “Crushed” immediately plays over the PA and the referee helps Spike to his feet, raising his arm, to a moderate cheer from the crowd.}Vasco Dias: Jeez, Spike pulled out every trick in his arsenal just to put Laszlo away. That’s how resilient the Cleveland native is.
Terri Morasco: But at the end of the day, Spike Kane is the number one contender for Andrew Jacobsen’s Imperial Title! THAT is a match I cannot wait to see!

HEIR TO THE THRONE FINAL SHOWDOWN
FATAL FOUR WAY MATCH
Jason Sandman vs Dean Harper vs Chris Card vs Kole Kaos
----------------------------------------------------------
Alison Valance: The following contest is a FATAL FOUR WAY MATCH, and is the first match in the HEIR TO THE THRONE TOURNAMENT!
Terri Morasco: Here we go! Heir to the Throne is under way!
Vasco Dias: Only barely, Terri. This is the last chance match – do you really think anyone here is going to actually go on to win it?
{The arena goes black as the intro for White zombie's Blood Milk and Sky comes over the PA system. Once the drumbs and guitar kick in a dark green hue overtakes the arena and smoke overtakes the stage. "The siren sings a lonely song, Of all the wants and hungers, The lust of love, a brute desire, The ledge of life goes under" As Rob's voice comes over the PA Kole Kaos emerges from the smoke wearing a black with dark green trim patch-worked long hooded jacket. He slowly makes his way down the ramp towards the ring. He slowly turns at the ring and heads to the stairs, he climbs the stairs and stands on the apron in the middle of the ring, he flips the hood off over his head and shrugs the jacket off throwing his arms up in a flexed crucifix pose, as he does so green pyro bursts from all four ring posts, he then makes his way into the ring staring at his opponent, or up the ramp with disgust on his face as he waits for the match to start.}Alison Valance: Introducing first, from Everywhere and Nowhere, weighing in at 255 pounds… Kole KAOS!
Terri Morasco: Careful Terri, he might not like you saying stuff about him like that!
Vasco Dias: I. Said. Nothing.
Alison Valance: Introducing next, from Norfolk Virginia, weighing in at 285 pounds… the Angel of Death, Jason SANDMAN!!
{Am I a Psycho comes on the speakers and as it begins Deal With It Bitch Productions Presents logo come on the Teletron. When the opening words are heard the name of Jason Sandman shows up on the teletron. Jason Sandman comes out of the entranceway and as he raises his singapore cane and a steel chair wrapped in barbwire in the air pyro shoots off. Jason Sandman runs down to the ring, throwing the cane and chair over before sliding under the ropes.}Terri Morasco: Two members of the Council represented in this match. I doubt they’ll let anyone other than them win the tournament.
Vasco Dias: Isn’t it three members? Dean Harper…
Terri Morasco: … Hates the Council, from all reports, despite his loyalty to one of its members. And speaking of…
Alison Valance: Approaching next…
{The lights go out as the melodic opening of The Howling by Within Temptation begins to play. After a few moments a single white spotlight shines down on the stage, showing Dean crouched on the stage, looking down at the ground with his hood concealing his face. Smoke rises around him eerily as he slowly rolls his wrists. Suddenly, in time with the opening guitar riff, the lights snap blood red as Dean stands, walking through the now red-lit smoke towards the ring. He jumps up onto the apron before springing on the bottom rope into the ring. Once in the center of the ring, he spreads his arms wide as he soaks in the red flashing lights before lifting his head sharply, kicking back the hood to show his face, nodding in rhythm to the music as he slowly breaks into a wicked grin. After a few moments he turns and settles into his corner, tossing his hood and jacket to ringside… which are caught by Rowan, who the audience swears wasn’t standing there a second ago.}Alison Valance: From Souix Falls, South Dakota, weighing in at 200 pounds… Dean Harper!
Terri Morasco: Chris Card was right – Rowan MacDonnough, the Diamonds Champion, is joining us at ringside.
Vasco Dias: HOW DOES SHE KEEP DOING THAT??! I was specifically watching for her this time and I STILL didn’t see her come in!
Alison Valance: And finally, from Toronto, Ontario Canada… weighing in at 220 pounds, Chris CARD!
{Purple and white spotlights home in on the entrance area as the opening drum fill to "DC Sound Attack!" plays. As the harmonica and guitars start up, Chris Card walks the first few steps out from the curtain and pauses, soaking in the atmosphere and cracking an enigmatic smile. After a brief nod of acknowledgement to the crowd, Card walks purposefully down to the ring and rolls under the bottom rope.}Terri Morasco: Chris Card looks absolutely fearless against all of these men.
Vasco Dias: Of course he does! What does Technical Perfection have to fear from three men who are all smoke and mirrors?
DING!
{The bell rings, and Chris Card immediately works to stay away from everyone else in the match. For a moment it looks like Sandman and Kole might not play his game, and work together to batter Card down… but Dean’s been wanting to get his hands on the Council for too long as he surges forward, hitting Kole Kaos with a huge Slingblade! Sandman turns to attack Dean, but only manages to throw him into Kole. Intentional or otherwise, Kaos rises to his feet and the two Council members begin to exchange blows as Chris Card waves his hands like a conductor over an orchestra.}Terri Morasco: Just as Chris Card predicted. These men are dancing to his tune.
{Kole Kaos starts off by taking Sandman down with a swinging side slam, but Jason quickly recovers and pulls the smaller man into a German Suplex… then another… and then a third. Kaos rises up and hits Jason with a German of his own before lifting Sandman up and powerbombing the Angel of Death into the turnbuckle! Chris Card slips in as Kole recovers and hits him with a backfist strike that Kaos didn’t see coming, but swiftly vanishes to the other side of the ring, leaning against the ropes as though casually waiting. When Kaos turns, he sees Dean Harper behind him, and assumes him to be the one to deliver the attack.}Terri Morasco: The dirtiest player in the game indeed!
Vasco Dias: The only fair fight is the one you lose, Terri.
{Dean and Kaos clash, the smaller Harper trying to dart around the chaotic powerhouse and keep him off balance with a bicycle knee, then a legsweep. Kaos, however, isn’t perturbed by Dean’s strikes, and manages to pull him into a piledriver! Kaos roars and hauls Harper up before dragging him into a KAOSBUSTER! He goes for the pin!
ONE!
TW-Dean kicks out, laughing madly all the way!}Vasco Dias: Why is he laughing?
Terri Morasco: For the same reason he’s loyal to Rowan, I expect – because he’s utterly off his rocker!
{Dean rolls out of the ring, moving quickly out of the way as Sandman comes up behind Kole, Chris Card maneuvering carefully to stay out of Jason’s line of sight. Sandman grabs Kole from behind, looking perhaps for another German Suplex, but Kaos reverses the maneuver and pushes Sandman away, the brief gap closed by a spear! Kole goes to try to cover Sandman, but Chris Card steps in again… and when the ref can’t see, hits Kole in the face with some pepper spray! Kole staggers away, but isn’t able to escape before Card hits him with the Cardiac Arrest Alpha! Kaos goes down and Card steps on top of him, spreading his arms for the crowd as the ref begins to count!
ONE!
TW- Dean Harper grabs Card by the ankle and pulls him down, breaking the pin as he slams Chris Card’s groin into the apron through the ropes. Card’s face becomes a mask of pain as Dean grins and rolls back into the ring!}Terri Morasco: Ouch! Card’s going to feel that one in the morning!
Vasco Dias: What a low move from Harper!
Terri Morasco: You… you did see Card use the pepper spray, right?
{Dean gets in the ring, and looks immediately to pay Kaos back for the near-fall earlier, and capitalizes on the God of Chaos’ burning eyes to hit Kaos with a running double knee strike! Kaos goes down, but Sandman comes up behind Dean and drags him hard into a German Suplex. Dean gets close to the ropes, and Sandman advances... but as soon as he gets close Dean hits Sandman with the UP IS DOWN! He takes Sandman to the mat and goes for the pin… but Kole drags Dean off and sends him sliding across the ring! For a moment it looks like Kaos is considering trying for the pin, but this time Jason stands up before Kaos can even get there. Sandman stands up and lays Kole out with a KISS THE DEMON OR THE ANGEL WILL RISE! Sandman goes for the cover!
ONE!
TWO!!
THR- Kaos kicks out!}Vasco Dias: That was close!
Terri Morasco: They might be stable-mates, but these two have been proving since last week that they’re more than willing to tear one another apart.
{Chris Card once again slips in, limping ever so slightly, seeing the chance to take advantage and make some chaos in the ring. He comes from behind Kaos and hits him with a dropkick, knocking him into Sandman and once again bringing the two to the verge of blows. This time, however, Jason isn’t going to fall for Chris’ games, and grabs the smaller man before he can slip away, pulling Card into a Full Nelson Slam! Sandman follows up with DADDY’S DENTAL WORK, and goes for the pin… but Kaos breaks it up!}Terri Morasco: Looks like the friction between these two Council members is really coming to a head!
Vasco Dias: Kaos wants to win this, possibly to show Ulf that his defeat last week wasn’t as definitive as Hednir believes.
{Sandman gets in Kole’s face, and the two of them mouth off to one another as Card shakes off the attack and rolls back, grinning as he sees the men arguing and once again begins to wave his arms like a conductor, getting a huge cheer from the crowd! However, Dean is back on his feet, and climbs up into the corner close to where the two men are arguing…!}Terri Morasco: They need to pay attention!
Vasco Dias: This is going to hurt!
{Jason Sandman turns around just in time to see Dean standing on the top turnbuckle behind him, and isn’t able to get out of the way in time to avoid being driven HARD to the mat by the SCREAMING FROM THE SKY! Kole Kaos is too close behind him, and Sandman is knocked into his stable-mate!}Terri Morasco: Dean Harper following through on his promise to take the Council down!
Vasco Dias: For the smallest man in the match, he sure does make the biggest impacts.
{Kole sprawls the impact from Jason Sandman’s collapse, sending him rolling to the other side of the ring. Chris Card sees his opportunity and leaps in on Kaos, trying to go for the pin on him as Dean leaps on top of Sandman, planting his knee on Jason’s sternum while spreading his arms and looking to Rowan in supplication! Both members of the Council are pinned!
ONE!
TWO!! – Kole Kaos kicks out! Jason Sandman does not!
THREE!!!}Alison Valance: Here is your winner, proceeding to the Heir to the Throne Semi-Finals… DEAN HARPER!
Terri Morasco: A huge defeat for the Council tonight as their teammate’s disciple proceeds to the Semi’s!
Vasco Dias: But what does this mean for Dean Harper?
{Chris Card slips away, sensing the potential tension rising between the three men as Rowan rolls into the ring, holding the Diamonds Championship belt under over her shoulder. Kole and Sandman get to their feet, looking unsure as to what’s about to happen as they glance between Rowan and Dean. Harper is grinning at the two of them wildly before glancing over to Rowan… and holding out his hand towards Kole.}Terri Morasco: Is Dean going back on his previous statements and joining The Council?
{Jason and Kole look between one another, unsure what to do, as Dean looks towards Rowan with a wicked grin. Then, with her eyes gleaming sharply… she slowly and deliberately draws her thumb across her throat.
Kole and Sandman look confused for a split second before Dean snaps his hand, shooting a fireball from his wrist right into Kole Kaos’ face! Rowan watches with satisfaction as Dean barrels into the already winded Sandman, knocking him senseless with a few sharp strikes before flashing another fireball into him from his other wrist point blank! Sandman staggers back as Dean takes him to the floor with a Dance the Spiral!}Vasco Dias: Dean Harper is unleashing himself upon the Council at Rowan’s order! She’s turning on them!
Terri Morasco: Make a deal with the Devil…
{Maxine Valentine rushes down the ramp, sliding into the ring to Rowan’s side, and looks about ready to leap to stand with Dean against the Council… but Rowan holds out an arm to stop her, shaking her head. Kole Kaos recovers from the fireball and lunges towards Dean Harper as Jason scrambles to his feet. Sandman glares at Rowan with hate.}Jason Sandman: TRAITOROUS DEMON BITCH!
{Rowan simply laughs at him as Dean Harper steps between them all, beckoning the two men forward with a mad grin. Jason and Kole, however, know well how to fight alongside one another – especially against a lone opponent. The two men work together to take Dean to the mat. Rowan crosses her arms and leans back as he watches the carnage, Jason and Kole pounding Harper as he laughs… then suddenly, a figure leaps over the barricade from the crowd wearing faded jeans and a black hoodie, sliding into the ring and delivering a SUPERKICK to the back of Kole’s knee! Sandman whirls around just in time to see the new attacker driving Kole’s head into the mat with a DDT, before nimbly returning to his feet and staring Sandman down. Dean gets to his feet and moves to stand side by side with the newcomer. The hooded man looks over to Rowan, then back at Jason Sandman before pulling back his hood to reveal…}Terri Morasco: My god! Is that…? That’s CALEB LOCKWOOD! Caleb Lockwood is back, and is standing with the Wolf of the Abyss and her pack!
{The crowd begins to roar with approval at the reveal of the returning Caleb Lockwood, looking leaner, meaner, and more demented than he did the last time he set foot in the ring four years earlier. He stares Sandman down with a wild look in his eyes as Rowan and Maxine step forward to join Dean and Caleb in a line. With both of them already hurting and badly outnumbered, the two members of the Council roll out of the ring and withdraw.
Rowan steps forward ahead of the three of them, turning as they all smile back at her. They all then take formation, Rowan at the lead, the two men to the side, and Maxine towering directly behind Rowan, as they all turn to the hard-cam and spread their arms wide.}Rowan MacDonnough: At last… the hunt begins in earnest.
{The lights go out, and when they return the ring is empty.}----------------------------------------------------------

{The lights in the arena start to twinkle like diamonds, green, purple and red with the melodic holler and drum beat of ''Black and Silver" by Xandria. The chords of an organ punctuate the words as Kathleen Conway appears on the stage with one hand on her right hip and her husband, The Ace by her side. She begins her walk down the ramp, alongside her husband, Kathy has a smile on her face. At the foot of the ramp the couple share a kiss before Kathy gets to the ring and climbs on to the apron with her back to the ropes, she drops to one knee. She holds onto the ropes behind her as she flips her hair to the side and winks at The Ace before standing up and climbing through the middle rope into the ring. She pulls her hat off and whips it into the crowd before backing herself into the corner to stretch against the ropes.}{The arena is filled with blue and green light as Immigrant Song begins to play, evoking colors of the sea or the forest. As the music intensifies, Lights shine down to reveal Astrid entering through the crowd, huge smile on her face as she descends towards the ring, carrying a viking-style shield as she approaches. She interacts with the crowd, laughing with them and allowing some of them to take selfies with her, giving high-fives and fist bumps all the way down. Her manager, Emma Danielson, walks behind her, smiling and interacting with the crowd as well, though not in as show-stealing a way. Before leaving the crowd, Astrid hands the shield to a young girl declaring “Anyone can be a hero - welcome to the Shield Wall, Sister!”. She leaps into the ring, pumped up and beaming after one last fist bump with Emma, jumping onto the ropes with a triumphant fist in the air taking in the crowd’s cheers as Sara and Brooklyn take the opportunity to pretty much drop kick her legs from underneath her, sending Astrid crashing to the mat!}Terri Morasco: Sara and Brooklyn on the same page to jump start Astrid Hall!

HEIR TO THE THRONE SEMI-FINAL #1
TRIPLE THREAT MATCH
Jayson Matthews vs Seth Evans vs Mason St. Croix
----------------------------------------------------------
{The drum fill kicks in the door and the guitar riff of 311’s Perfect Mistake starts blasting over the PA system.}“Listen Up!”
{The arena lights start changing from orange to black on the beat and Jayson Matthews comes bouncing from behind the curtain and head banging to the riff. His Invictus Championship firmly around his waste. He jams to the verse as he starts to walk down the ramp, slapping fives with as many fans as he can on either side.}This is the next stage, we turn the page
We're gonna wreck a place when we take the stage
Roll up your sleeves, get down with me
It's going off in the pit like you wouldn't believe
Alison Valance: Weighing in at 200 pounds, hailing from Detroit, Michigan. He is the IWF InVICTUS Champion……JAYSON MATTHEWS!
{Jayson stands at the end of the ramp and stares into the ring and he starts to bounce up and down and hypes himself up and as soon as the chorus hits he dives into the ring forward rolls onto his feet and runs over to the side opposite the ramp and leans over the ring holding out his Championship. While the lights strobe orange and black.}“Ohhhhhhhhhh
See in it my eyes
Hold it in my hands
All those days that you wasted away
There was no one to blame
It's a perfect mistake
{He hops up on the turnbuckle and holds out the Invictus title with one arm and points to the crowd with his other hand. Thanking the fans for the cheers and displaying the title to the fans.}Terri Morasco: The Invictus Champion has been through the ringer over the past few weeks thanks to Jason Sandman.
Vasco Dias: And now he has to be looking over his shoulder during this tournament.
Terri Morasco: Maybe that's why Tyler Jacobs is with him at ring side.
Vasco Dias: The Sandman is looking for him, and when he finds him, it's not going to be pretty for Jayson Matthews. And Tyler Jacobs won't be able to help. What's he going to do Terri? Ask him a question? So Sandman, how does it feel to be kicking my ass here tonight?”
Terri Morasco: Oh would you stop?
{All of the lights flicker out throughout the arena and turquoise tinted lights quickly replace while the opening guitar riff of “Blow Me Away” begins to play through the speakers. A roar of cheers rings from the majority of the fans in the arena and from the way that the camera does see them, it doesn’t appear that one single person is sitting in their seat; Seth emerges from behind the curtains dressed in his loose leather pants with the Halo symbol on his left leg. He lifts his hand above his eyes to block the blinding light from him to take a moment to look at the entire crowd, and smiles and nods his head in approval for the reception that he receives. Not moving from his spot at the top of the ramp, he brings his hands to his chest and jumps up and down a few times as if to get the blood flowing before finally landing, and hunching for a moment before breaking into a sprint; while sprinting down the ramp he slaps hands with many of the fans on one side of the front row but as he reaches the end of the ramp, he centers himself before taking a long jump and landing one foot on the apron, showing off his athleticism, and his hands reach forward to grip the rope and steady himself on the apron. Both of his hands grip the rope tightly before shaking the rope to fire himself up and quickly stepping between the top and middle rope, and breaking again into a sprint to one of the turnbuckles. While standing in there basking in the praise, he extends his arms out for several seconds and finally brings his hand in to pound his chest twice, and finally steps down from the turnbuckle to wait for the match to begin.}Terri Morasco: Another man looking to move forward in this tournament. He's also a professional gamer. Fun fact for everyone at home.
Vasco Dias: What's a professional gamer?
Terri Morasco: Someone who receives sponsors to play competitive video games.
Vasco Dias: Oh jeezus, this is one of the reasons why the world is ruined.
{"The War Isn't Over Yet" by Eye Empire begins playing and blue and white pyro shoots out from the walkway as Mason St. Croix stares straight ahead with his eyes focus on his opponent and walks at a marching pace towards the ring . Once in the ring Mason climbs all four turnbuckles one at a time before hoping down and taking the center of the ring where he stands at attention, his eyes never moving from his opponent.}Terri Morasco: And the all American Mason St. Croix. Go ahead, Vasco say something bad about a war hero!
Vasco Dias: Uhhh, unmmm, DAMN YOU POLITICAL CORRECTNESS!
{The three heroes in their own rights, Jayson Matthews, Seth Evans, and Mason St. Croix all stand in opposite corners as the bell rings. They all slowly walk to the center and start sizing each other up and it's seemingly pretty even.}Terri Morasco: All three of these men are on the shorter side with about and inch to two inches of height difference and no man has more than thirty pounds of weight advantage.
Vasco Dias: Its going to come close.
{Mason makes the first move as a clothesline at Seth who ducks under the strike attempt and narrowly missed a drop kick thrown by Matthews, Seth sees Mason coming back at him and decides to throw a cross body but Mason shows incredible strength and manages to catch and stabilize himself and the crowd pop as they think Battle Cry but then Jayson comes running in with a crossbody of his own and his force was enough to knock Mason over and all three men go down and the ref goes for a count with Jayson and Seth on top of Mason!}Terri Morasco: WHAT!? We got a pin attempt! Both men on top!
Vasco Dias: No way, what happens if, oh man Mason got his shoulder up!
Terri Morasco: It was early enough in the match that he could kick out.
{Mason is back up to his feet and Jayson and Seth are back up to there feet as well and they square up again and this time Mason goes right after Jayson Matthews with a driving spear into the corner. Jayson hits the buckle hard and Mason drives his shoulder into him a few times. Mason hears Seth coming in behind him and moves out of the way at the last second and Seth smashes into Jayson with a huge corner splash. Jayson slumps down a bit in the corner and Mason hits a thick forearm shot right to the back of Seth’s neck, Seth takes another one and stiffens up from the shot, Seth battles back with an elbow to the gut and Mason and flips him forward with a snapmare to a sitting position and Seth runs to the ropes and hits Mason with a front drop kick to the face.}Vasco Dias: Seth taking control here.
Terri Morasco: Jayson coming back into-OH!
{Jayson wakes up as Seth was getting to his feet after the dropkick. Jayson springboards off the second rope and just eats a Bull True superkick and falls back to the mat in a heap. Seth glances at Mason and then back at Jayson and goes for the cover! 1…..2…..but Mason was able to break the pin. He pulls Seth up to his feet and nails him with a short arm clothesline and Mason goes for his own cover 1….2...Seth manages to break up the pin again and Jayson rolls out of the ring to recover. Mason and Seth square up.}Terri Morasco: Tyler Jacobs and the ref checking on Jayson Matthews as Seth Evans and Mason St. Croix tie up in the ring.
Vasco Dias: We got the veteran verse the gamer. Who is going to get the advantage?
{The two men tie up and Mason gets Seth into a side headlock and Seth reaches for the ropes at first and tries to fight out but then he reaches down and sweeps the leg. Mason hits the mat and then rolls out of the way of the standing knee drop. Seth’s knee eats empty canvas and Mason runs in and hits a brutal uppercut and then goes right into a pin. 1…..2….Seth gets his shoulder up but he stays on the mat attempting to shake off the shot. Mason gets to his feet and goes after Seth but he stops when he sees Jayson Matthews comes running into the ring and immediately gets caught in the Battle Cry and just gets driven into the canvas!}Terri Morasco: Jayson Matthews just can't get out of the starting gate here!
Vasco Dias: Its this event, Legacy, he's cursed to fail here because that is his legacy! Get it?
Terri Morasco: Your so deep sometimes, Vasco.
Vasco Dias: I detect your sarcasm, Terri.
Terri Morasco: That's good, because I'm laying it on pretty thick and OH Mason with a cover!
{Mason hooks the leg and the ref counts 1...2….but Seth breaks up the pin he pulls Mason up off the pin and shoves him shoulder first into the turnbuckle and Seth hooks Jayson’s leg.1….2….no Mason breaks it up with an axe handle smash to Seth’s back. Seth gets up to his feet and goes after Mason but he eats the St. Croix Combo and Seth goes down and Mason hooks the leg as tight as he could on Matthews. 1….2,....Jayson gets his shoulder up! Jayson rolls back out of the ring as Mason goes over and pins Seth. 1…..2…..Seth kicks out!}Terri Morasco: Mason went for two covers and they both didn't get results. He's not entirely happy.
Vasco Dias: what does he gotta do to beat these guy?
{Mason drags Seth back to his feet. Seth was still groggy but he knew he had to keep fighting back and he went for some elbows to the abdomen. Mason loosens his grip and Seth goes for a Russian leg sweep but Mason elbows out himself and goes on the Warpath! He hooks the leg 1...2….Seth gets a shoulder up and Mason goes to pull Seth up but Seth pulls Mason back down with a small package 1….2….Mason kicks out at the last second and as they both climb to there feet, Seth gets underneath him looking for the Extermination and gets him up on his shoulders. But that's when he notices Jayson Matthews is back on the apron and he's spring boarded off the top rope and he comes flying in with a drop kick that takes Seth off his feet and Mason goes down and rolls out of the ring.} Terri Morasco: Oh man Jayson Matthews just re entered this match in a big way.
Vasco Dias: Seth needs to react quick.
{Seth narrowly dodges a Jayson Matthews Experience and Seth goes behind and pushes Jayson toward the ropes but Jayson holds on and Seth falls backward effectively missing the roll up tempt. Jayson springboards backward with a moonsault but Seth ducks and Jayson lands behind him and lands a reverse DDT for his trouble. Jayson hooks the leg but Seth shoots a shoulder up into the air. Jayson tries to go for the RibKracker but Seth blocks it and shoved Jayson off. Seth tries to go for Extermination but Jayson punches his way out and slips out behind. Just then Mason comes storming into the match again and Jayson leaps up and brings him cracking down with the RibKracker! Mason pops back up due to the impact and that's when Seth catches him with Bulltrue! Jayson cracks Seth with the Jayson Matthews Experience and Seth toppled over the rope. Jayson hooks the leg on Mason! 1…..2…...3!!!!!!! Perfect Mistake by 311 starts to play as the ref raises his hand in victory.}Terri Morasco: Jayson Matthews just advanced to the finals of Heir to the Throne! He's now one match away from an Imperial Championship!
Vasco Dias: I can't believe it!
----------------------------------------------------------
SEGMENT
”I’m Only Getting Started…”
----------------------------------------------------------
{We open up backstage as we find Jayson Matthews, flanked by Tyler Jacobs as they stand next to Tiffany Jones.}Tiffany Jones: Jayson, you just advanced to the finals of Heir to the Throne. How do you feel?
{Jayson smiles as he wipes one sweat from his face.}Jayson Matthews: It feels great, Tiffany! One more match left to go. It's all the marbles now. But we're going to keep the train moving. I got all this support it feels good and-”
{Tiffany screams as Sandman shows up from out of nowhere and cracks Jayson Matthews over the head with a kendo stick. Tyler tries to do something but Sandman drills Tyler as well. Tyler hits the ground like a sack of bricks. Jayson is trying to pull himself up using Sandman's pant leg and Sandman just drags him up to his feet and throws him into a stack of shipping crates and pallets and everything comes crashing down.}Jason Sandman: You're feeling good eh? Try this on-”
{Suddenly Jayson comes driving out of the rubble and he spears Sandman into a metal grate and Jayson starts popping off shots. Jayson looks down and picks up the kendo stick that Sandman brought. He stares at it for a second and wields it over his head to strike Sandman but Jason kicks Jayson in the stomach and Sandman grabs Jayson by the back of the head and slams Jayson into a vending machine. Sandman rams his head into it a few times and then finds a nearby chair and swings it with intent to smash his face. But Jayson ducks and pops off a few shots and pulls Sandman toward the buffet table!”}Jayson Matthews: Here! Have a banana!
{Jayson shoves a banana into Sandman's mouth and then punches it and the banana smashes all over his face and he chokes a bit.}Jayson Matthews: Wow, literally just went bananas all over your face!
{Sandman shakes it off looks scary mad and spears Jayson hard and he goes through the buffet table marking a huge mess! Sandman then grabs Jayson drives him face first through the glass of a popcorn machine! Jayson slumps down to the ground, his face now covered in blood and glass. His eyes look glazed over and he's breathing heavy.}Terri Morasco: Oh my god! Someone needs to get back there! Quick! Jayson is bleeding heavy!
Vasco Dias: This is bad.
{Sandman just starts pummeling Jayson’s bloody and glass covered face as security and medical teams storm the scene. Security struggle to move Sandman but eventually they do and Sandman laughs as they pull him away.}Jason Sandman: I'm only getting started kid, good luck in the finals!
Terri Morasco: This looks bad! What's going to happen with the finals!?
----------------------------------------------------------
HEIR TO THE THRONE SEMI-FINAL #2
TRIPLE THREAT MATCH
Ryan Shane vs Ulf Hednir vs Dean Harper
----------------------------------------------------------
Alison Valance: The following contest is a Triple Threat, and is part of the Heir to the Throne Semi-Finals!
Terri Morasco: This is going to be an insane match!
Vasco Dias: It's going to be a slaughter. One of these men is leagues beyond the others.
Terri Morasco: Who?
Vasco Dias: If you have to ask you're even worse at your job than I thought, Terri.
Alison Valance: Introducing first, from Oslo Norway… ULF HEDNIR!
{The opening guitar riff for “Raise Your Horns” by Amon Amarth starts to play throughout the speakers, there is a mixed reaction from the crowd… more cheers than not; Ulf Hednir emerges from behind the curtains wearing a wolf headdress and his standard wrestling attire, and he still sports a smile to the crowd as he gets to the center of the stage before crouching down and stretches his legs out; as he stands up, he reaches to his side to withdraw his drinking horn and salutes the crowd before drinking the ale from the horn; he places the horn back at his side and hurries down the ramp not bothering to meet and greet with the fans along the side, and then he walks around to the back of the ring where he takes off his wolf headdress, and drinking horn; he hands both to the time keeper. He then steps toward the ring and slides under the bottom rope, and is quick to get to his feet as he does a light jog around the ring before grabbing the top rope and testing its durability… after being satisfied with the durability, he shouts, “Skål!” out to the crowd, and while some return the shout, it is less than he likes to hear. But he pays little mind to it, and just waits for the match to begin.} Terri Morasco: Ulf’s been showing no illusions about his intent to become the youngest ever Imperial Champion by winning Heir to the Throne, taking his place alongside his stablemate Rowan MacDonnough, who at 19 is the IWF’s youngest ever Diamonds Champion.
Vasco Dias: Are you sure about that, Terri? I don’t think Rowan and Ulf see one another as stablemates anymore – certainly not after what happened to Kaos and Sandman in the last match
Terri Morasco: Fair point, Vasco. We’ll see how this match plays out.
Alison Valance: And our second contender…
{The lights go ouy as the melodic opening of The Howling by Within Temptation begins to play. After a few moments he turns and settles into his corner, tossing his hood and jacket to ringside… which are caught by Rowan, who the audience swears wasn’t standing there a second ago. Standing alongside her are Maxine Valentine and Caleb Lockwood.}Alison Valance: From Souix Falls, South Dakota, weighing in at 200 pounds… Dean Harper!
{Harper is grinning like a maniac as he stares down Ulf, drawing his thumb across his neck.}Dean Harper: YOU’RE NEXT, FAM!
Terri Morasco: … Right, yeah, he’s definitely deliberately planning to target the Council.
Vasco Dias: Which means that Ulf is going to be even more motivated to break him down tonight. Dean’s waging a one-man war against the Council, seemingly on Rowan’s orders, and Ulf’s not taking any of it!
Alison Valance: And their opponent…
{“Angry Heart” by Otherwise begins to play throughout the arena and the crowd boos loudly. The entrance ramp is dimly lit and Laura Howlett makes her way out from behind the curtain. The fans in attendance have no problem letting her know exactly what they think of her. Ryan Shane then makes his way out. He holds the Man of Steel title above his head as pyro goes off behind him.}Alison Valance: Accompanied to the ring by Laura Howlett, weighing two hundred and ten pounds, from Allen Park, Michigan, he is the IWF Man of Steel champion... the King of Detroit, Ryan Shane!!!
{Laura Howlett heads toward the ring with Ryan Shane following close behind her. When they get to the ring Shane slides in under the bottom rope as Howlett climbs the ring stairs. Ryan opens the ropes for her and she enters the ring. Once they are both in the ring the two share a kiss as Shane once again raises the Man of Steel title above his head. He hands it to Laura who carries it back out to ringside.}Vasco Dias: And there he is! The great equalizer! The Man of Steel! He’ll tear into these two men and rip them down as they try to kill one another and remind everyone why he’s the true Man of Steel!
Terri Morasco: … I’m going to go ahead and presume you have a favorite in this match.
DING!
{As soon as the bell rings, Ulf comes screaming out of his corner and plows right into Dean Harper with a forearm smash, knocking the much smaller man to the ground. He turns on Shane next, who tries to take Ulf down with a Russian legsweep, but Ulf simply moves around it and sends Shane reeling with a Cross Chop before knocking him to the ground with a huge headbutt. Ulf turns to the crowd, having immediately taken down his two opponents!}Ulf Hednir: SKAAL!
Terri Morasco: A hot start from Hednir, showing that mix of strength and surprising agility that makes him so dangerous in the ring.
{Shane and Dean get back to their feet, and it’s the Man of Steel Champion who acts first, striking at Ulf’s knee before the Heathen can react. Shane continues to engage in a brutal series of strikes to Ulf’s knees, deliberately trying to disrupt his vertical base. It clearly starts to work as Ulf staggers, forced onto the defensive by the Man of Steel. He moves to the ropes, and Laura Howlett starts to move to try to offer Shane some assistance there… but finds herself face to face with Rowan MacDonnough and Maxine Valentine, and it becomes strikingly clear what will happen to her if Laura interferes on Shane’s behalf.}Terri Morasco: No House of Howlett help for Ryan Shane tonight. We all remember what Rowan did to Lindsay Grawn a few weeks back.
Vasco Dias: The Man of Steel needs no such aid! He can win this on his own with no challenge!
Terri Morasco: Can ya cool it with the fanboy act for two seconds, Vasco?
{Shane is going to continue his onslaught on Ulf’s knee, but Dean Harper returns to the fray by hitting Shane with a Snake Eyes into the top rope, sending the Man of Steel reeling. Dean squares off with Ulf, gesturing gleefully for the Council member to bring it on, and Ulf is all too happy to oblige him. Though he’s still a bit off balance from Ryan’s attack to his knees, he advances on Dean who meets him with a roll-through Russian legsweep followed by a flipping leg drop! Ulf, however, grabs onto Dean like a vice before he can get away, locking Dean in an armbar! He wrenches hard on Harper, but Rowan’s Most Loyal barely seems to acknowledge the pain, laughing as he almost seems to help Ulf wrench.}Vasco Dias: What the HELL IS WRONG WITH HIM!?
Terri Morasco: You’re looking at the right hand man of a woman who once dislocated her own arm to lock Shea O’Hara in a counter-submission. Don’t tell me you expect sanity?
{Ryan Shane comes back into the fight, and Ulf lets Harper out of the armbar to focus on the oncoming Man of Steel. Shane goes straight for Harper, however, paying him back for the earlier Snake Eyes with a snap DDT. He forces Ulf to the ground with a dropkick to the knee before pulling Dean back up to slam him down with a RIGHT NOW-THERN LIGHTS SUPLEX! Shane goes for the cover!
ONE!
TWO!
Dean gets a shoulder up!}Vasco Dias: That was so close!
Terri Morasco: Something about horseshoes and hand grenades, Vasco.
{Ulf stands, clearly getting angry, and whirls on Ryan Shane. The two of them exchange a flurry of heavy-handed offense, Ulf’s rage almost starting to overcome the pain in his knee! Shane tries to go for a knee-targeting takedown to stop Ulf’s fury, but Ulf drags Shane into a VALHALLA DRIVER! Ulf goes for the pin!
ONE!
TW- And Ryan Shane kicks out!}Terri Morasco: Another near-fall for the Berserker!
{Ulf rises to his feet and rounds on Dean, who had been looking to head to the top rope while Ulf was distracted in the same way he did against Sandman earlier in the evening. Ulf maneuvers himself, limping slightly, between Dean and the corner before advancing on the smaller man with murder in his eyes. Dean holds his hands up as though trying to talk Ulf out of it… but then races past Ulf to the side, onto the ropes and flies right back into ulf with the FATAL FRAME! Ulf hits the mat hard and the ref goes for the cover!
ONE!}Terri Morasco: Holy… I think Dean might have the pin…!
{TWO!}Vasco Dias: NO! HERE COMES SHANE!!!
{Ryan Shane surges in and slams into Dean with the SHANING WIZARD, sending Rowan’s most loyal careening off of Ulf and into the corner, where his head hits the post with an audible thunk. For a moment it looks like he might try to pin Ulf as well, but it becomes clear that Shane has no desire to appear to have capitalized off of Dean’s offense. Instead he hauls Ulf to his feet and slaps some sense back into him before taking him right back down with the SOUTHPAW SHUFFLE! Then, as soon as Ulf’s body hits the floor, he follows Hednir down and…}Vasco Dias: HE’S GOT ULF LOCKED IN THE CRYING SHANE! IT’S ALL OVER!
{Dean struggles to come to his senses in the corner, unable to break the submission! Ulf’s eyes bulge furiously as he looks for an escape, and desperately drags himself towards the ropes… but Ryan pulls him back to the center of the ring, leaving Hednir nowhere to go! Straining against the pain, and knowing that he can’t break the lock… Ulf Hednir TAPS OUT!}Alison Valance: Here is your winner by Submission, proceeding to the Heir to the Throne Finals… RYAN SHANE!!!!
Terri Morasco: And just like that, the Council is out of Heir to the Throne!
{Ryan Shane stands victoriously as Laura Howlett joins him in the ring. Dean stands and brushes off his pants with a shrug, tapping the Man of Steel belt as he passes the incredulous pair. He gives Shane a shit-eating grin, mouthing: “You won’t need that soon – call me!” before rolling out of the ring to join Rowan, Caleb and Maxine.}Terri Morasco: … Well that bodes ill.
Vasco Dias: Who cares? This means that it’s going to be Champion Vs. Champion in the Heir to the Throne finals – Invictus Banana Vs. The MAN OF STEEL!
Terri Morasco: I’m… guessing you still have a favorite.
----------------------------------------------------------
HEIRESS TO THE THRONE SEMI-FINAL #1
SINGLES MATCH
Helena Sawyer vs Shea O’Hara
----------------------------------------------------------
Alison Valance: “This next contest is scheduled for one fall with a 15-minute time limit and is a Semifinal contest in the 2017 Heiress to the Throne.”
{The lights dim, and a series of twinkling blue lights begin to shine at the mouth of the entrance ramp as the intro of “Blue” by The Birthday Massacre begins to play. As the crashing guitars kick in, the stage is bathed in flickering blue lights, and Helena Sawyer slowly walks out onto the stage, a lopsided grin on her face. She walks down the ramp, wearing a twisted smirk on her face. As she passes by the camera at the foot of the ramp, she snaps her jaws at the cameraman, giggling as she walks on and hops up onto the apron. Helena looks up at the ceiling, grinning ecstatically, and turns to face the crowd, hooking both arms on the top rope and throwing her body back with a piercing scream that turns into a giggle. She kicks herself backwards, flipping over the top rope, and back-rolls into a kneeling crouch, staring at the ramp for a few moments before standing and slinking to a corner. She looks up at the ceiling as the music fades, mouthing frantic words to herself as the lights come back up to normal.}{The lights go out before the tron flickers to life with a flick of orange hair, before "In God We Trust” by Sweet Little Machine blasts out of the PA with orange and green lights flashing wildly, in time with the drums}"ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR!
NAH, NAH, NAH NAH!
NAH NAH-NAH NAH NAH!"
{The crowd chant along with the song, as Shea O’Hara barges through the curtain before standing in the middle of the stage. She lowers herself, almost squatting, before thrusting her arms into the air with the “devil horns” as a small pyro goes off behind her. She then sprints to the ring, sliding under the ropes and runs to the camera side and leans through the ropes on the second rope throwing up her “devil horns” once again.}Terri Morasco: The second and third seed in the Heiress to the Thone set to go at it here.
Vasco Dias: These two had time to plan for one another and have an advantage heading into the Finals.
{Before Alison Valance can even get the pre-match ring introductions started Helena Sawyer immediately rushes Shea O’Hara and they begin to trade blows in the ring as the referee tries to separate both combatants before raising his hands up in resignation and ringing the bell. Continuing to land heavy forearm strikes, each blow landing with thudding force of the sort that makes the first few rows of ringside wince openly, Shea finally lands a flurry of forearms before hitting a running start and attempting a running frankensteiner only for Helena to catch her and hold on for a powerbomb which gets a long 2-count before deadlifting the Shieldmaiden Champion up and then going for a buckle bomb only for Shea to counter out of that into the frankensteiner that she was looking for originally which also drives Helena’s head into the top turnbuckle. Heading up to the top turnbuckle, seemingly looking for the St. Patrick’s Parade, Shea is able to roll through and land on her feet when Helena moves out of the way before alley-ooping her to the floor.} Terri Morasco: Helena is taking it to the Shieldmaiden.
Vasco Dias: She got her out of the gate and hasn’t let up.
{But as she hits the floor Shea follows her out with a running leaping mushroom stomp from the apron but lands awkwardly and appears to do great damage to her left knee even as she crushes Helena with the maneuver. Pulling herself up to her feet using the ringside guardrail Shea hobbles towards the ring apron to keep the match going only to be stopped in her tracks by the referee who takes one look at her, and moves to have the match waved off. But before he can do that Shea stops him and demands he let the match continue, which he reluctantly does. Almost as immediately as he does though, a still groggy Helena takes full advantage of the situation and clips the bad knee of Shea from behind. Rolling her back in the ring Helena looks down at the clearly-injured Shieldmaiden Champion with scorn before locking in a cross-legged Stretch Muffler as she seems intent on drawing the submission. Pulling back tightly on the hold Helena screams out for Shea to submit, which she finally does as tears fall down her face from the pain of the submission.} Terri Morasco: She could be seriously hurt.
Vasco Dias: Yeah, the high risk didn’t pay off, and it cost her this match.
Alison Valance: “The winner of the match, moving on to the finals, Helena Sawyer!”
----------------------------------------------------------
HEIRESS TO THE THRONE SEMI-FINAL #2
SINGLES MATCH
Keira Hunter vs Kathleen Conway
----------------------------------------------------------
Alison Valance: The following contest is the second Semi-Final match in the Heiress to the Throne Tournament!
{"Hanging On By A Thread" by The Letter Black begins to play as Keira walks out onto the stage, a leather jacket covering her pale upper body, hanging open. At the eleven second mark as the lyrics begin, she rips the jacket off and heads to the ring.}Alison Valance: From Los Angeles, California, weighing in at 128 pounds...KEIRA...HUNTEEER!!!
{Keira jumps up on the apron and steps into the ring. She starts smacking her fist into her hand, waiting for the match to begin.}Terri Morasco: The fact that Keira was the leading points scorer over the course of this tournament truly is an inspiration. I don’t think anyone saw that coming.
Vasco Dias: I know I didn’t, but we come down to the nitty-gritty now, and the lights are on bright. She has a tough challenge in this match.
Alison Valance: And her opponent…
She walks to the middle and flips her hair again with a hand on her hip as the lights return to normal and the music fades.}Alison Valance: From Wichita, Kansas, weighing in at 123 pounds, she is “The Queen of the Diamonds” KATHLEEN CONWAY!
Terri Morasco: Kathy did have a match already once tonight, defeating Sara Garcia, Brooklyn Madrox, and Astrid Hall in the last chance Fatal Four Way.
Vasco Dias: You have to wonder if that’ll play a factor in this match.
{The two women appear ready, nodding to the official as they step forward. The official rings the bell and Keira thrusts a kick right into the face of Conway!}Terri Morasco: HOLY CRAP!
Vasco Dias: She might have taken her head off with that kick.
{Keira quickly drops down on the cover…
ONE!
TWO!
THNOOOOO!}Terri Morasco: Conway gets the shoulder up after Keira caught her off guard with that huge kick out of nowhere.
Vasco Dias: Interesting strategy to try and end it quickly, seeing as how whoever wins has one more match tonight.
{Keira lifts Kat to her feet, ramming her with a set of headbutts, the third of which taking the Queen of Diamonds down to the mat.}Terri Morasco: No waste in motion here by the youngest member of the Diamonds Roster.
Vasco Dias: She’s focused and as we heard earlier in the week, we know this is the biggest moment of her life in her mind.
{Keira grabs Kat by the head and pulls her up in a front facelock. She throws Conway’s arm over her head and snaps her over with a Snap Suplex in the center of the ring, floating over into the cover but only getting a two count, this time Kathy kicking out a little easier than when getting kicked in the face. Keira pulls Kathy up again, but this time, Kathy breaks Keira’s grip, shoving her back into the ropes and upon rebound lifting her into the air and dropping her spine-first against her knee with a Tilt-a-Whirl Backbreaker! Keira arches in pain but Kat pushes her down and hooks the leg for her first cover of the match resulting in a nearfall two count of her own.}Terri Morasco: And just like that, this whole match has flipped.
Vasco Dias: It was literally one move by Kathy and now she’s in control for the time being.
{Kathy pushes herself off the mat and looks down at Keira writhing in pain. She takes a few steps forward before dropping her knee into the lower back of the young Diamond who screams out in pain. Kathy scoots back in a seated position and grabs hold of Keira, pushing her feet into the back with a Bow and Arrow submission hold. Keira screams out in pain but adamantly shakes her head in rebellion of a tap out.}Terri Morasco: Keira is in clear pain after Kathy drove that knee into her back.
Vasco Dias: It sure did change things here.
{Kathy yells at Keira to tap, but the pale warrior is able to take her free hand and reach out for the rope forcing the break of the hold as Kat lets go and gets to her feet. She’s stalking Keira who is in obvious pain while pulling herself up with the ropes. Kat walks up behind her and locks her arms around her waist but Keira hits a few back elbows sending Conway stumbling to the center of the ring. Keira turns and hooks Kathleen up with a waistlock and hits her with a German Suplex! Both women are down, Kat holding the back of her head, and Keira still clutching at her back.}Terri Morasco: These two women are putting it all on the line here.
Vasco Dias: Kathleen looks a little worn, perhaps fatigue is setting in?
Terri Morasco: Don’t discount what Keira has done in this match, that Suplex had Conway land on the back of her head.
{The two women are slow to their feet with the aide of the ropes. Kathleen is first to fire off a forearm shot to the face of Keira who responds with a hard Knife-Edged Chop across the chest.

The sequence gets more rapid and more hard hitting until the two turn it into a slugfest at the behest of the crowd who cheer them on. Keira swings wildly, Kat ducks and looks for the Kat Nap but Keira is able to get her legs off of the body of Kat, standing straight up before kneeing Kat in the stomach twice before lifting her in the air and dropping her with the “Inevitability” (Front Suplex into a Seated Facebuster). She pushes Kathy onto her back and goes for the cover…
ONE!
TWO!
THRNOOOOOO!}Terri Morasco: Kathy showing the fight of a Conway!
Vasco Dias: I hope you came up with that by yourself...you sound ridiculous.
{Keira stalks Kathy who is getting to her feet and underhooks both arms looking for the Double Armed DDT that transitions into the “Endless Pain” submission hold but Kathy spins out of it, grabbing hold of Keira’s arm and twirling her into the “PokerfAce”, but before she can drop, Keira pushes her forward into the ropes, lifting her into the air, bad back and all and throws her off, dropping her neck-first across her knee with a Ushigoroshi that she calls the “Spirit Breaker”!}Terri Morasco: SPIRIT BREAKER!
Vasco Dias: She’s going for the cover!
{Keira hooks the leg…
ONE!
TWO!
THREE!
The bell rings and the crowd stands to their feet as “Hanging On By a Thread” plays throughout the arena.}Alison Valance: Here is your winner, advancing to the finals of the Heiress to the Throne...KEIRA...HUNTER!
{Keira’s arm is raised, but she’s quick to pull it down before leaving the ring, preparing for one more match later in the night.}Terri Morasco: A absolutely huge win for the upstart to advance to the Finals of this tournament!
Vasco Dias: Kathleen has nothing to be ashamed of as she too put on one hell of a match.
Terri Morasco: She did indeed, and now our finals are set...Keira Hunter versus Helena Sawyer!
{Keira backs up the ramp, a smirk on her face, but also a twitch of pain as we fade to an ad.}----------------------------------------------------------
SEGMENT
”Perfect Life…”
----------------------------------------------------------
“The man who has everything…”{All the lights in the arena are cut and we are plunged into darkness as those words echo.}“The perfect husband…”{Slowly music is heard rising.}“The perfect wife…”{The tone is familiar but not quite audible.}“The perfect child…”{But slowly we recognize the music as the orchestra version of Gateways by Dimmu Borgir which makes the crowd buzz.}“The perfect life…”{A pale visage begins to appear on the screen but it is still blurred enough that we can’t make out any features.}“I think I shall have it…”{But the visage becomes very clear once the black eyes open and we see the face of God.}“I am coming for what is mine…”{A terrible smiles spreads across his lips as we fade to black…}----------------------------------------------------------
HEIR TO THE THRONE FINALS
SINGLES MATCH
Jayson Matthews vs Ryan Shane
----------------------------------------------------------
Terri Morasco: Welcome ladies and gentlemen to the Heir to the Throne finals, live here at LEGACY!!! It’s been a long night for our competitors but it all comes down to this match. Whatever happens after tonight, one man will be able to say they were the Heir to the Throne winner of 2017!
Vasco Dias: I’m surprised by one of the men in this match but the other? He was destined to be here! The legacy of Ryan Shane continues tonight while that buffoon Jayson Matthews will be thrown back to the bottom of the ladder!
Terri Morasco: I don’t think it’ll be that cut and dry, Jayson Matthews is a hell of a competitor and he’s been here before where as Shane? This is his first time in the main event of a major IWF ppv, he could crumble from the pressure.
Vasco Dias: Not bloody likely!
He holds the Man of Steel title above his head as pyro goes off behind him.}Alison Valance: Introducing first, being accompanied to the ring by Laura Howlett, weighing two hundred and ten pounds, from Allen Park, Michigan, he is the IWF Man of Steel champion...Ryan Shane!!!
{Laura Howlett heads toward the ring with Ryan Shane following close behind her. When they get to the ring Shane slides in under the bottom rope as Howlett climbs the ring stairs. Ryan opens the ropes for her and she enters the ring. Once they are both in the ring the two share a kiss as Shane once again raises the Man of Steel title above his head.}Vasco Dias: If there were ever a power couple in IWF better than Laura Howlett and Ryan Shane then I haven’t seen them. The House of Howlett is back and better than ever. Laura Howlett single handedly took Zasshu, Rob Diamond, Spike Kane and Cable Arcane to the best year in any of their careers and now she’s doing it again! Last year she brought Cable Arcane to the Heir finals and now she’s don’t it again with Ryan Shane!
Terri Morasco: I can’t argue with you there Vasco, Laura is a hell of an advocate and has definitely turned the career of Ryan Shane around, however, Jayson Matthews has had quite the year as well and this may be his time to shine.
Vasco Dias: You can put over Jayson Matthews all you like, Terri but Ryan Shane is the better athlete, the better wrestler and honestly? The better man.
{The drum fill kicks in the door and the guitar riff of 311’s Perfect Mistake starts blasting over the PA system.}“Listen Up!”
{The arena lights start changing from orange to black on the beat and Jayson Matthews comes limping from behind the curtain and attempting to head bang to the riff but he’s clearly still feeling the effects of the Sandman’s earlier attack. Jayson heads down the ramp carrying his Invictus Championship, slapping fives with as many fans as he can on either side of the ramp.}This is the next stage, we turn the page
{Jayson stands at the end of the ramp and stares into the ring and he starts to bounce up and down but clearly he is still reeling from the earlier attack and instead walks forward and rolls into the ring, getting to his feet a little slower than usual. Jayson raises his belt above his head while the lights strobe orange and black.}“Ohhhhhhhhhh
See in it my eyes
Hold it in my hands
All those days that you wasted away
There was no one to blame
It's a perfect mistake
{He climbs up on the turnbuckle and holds out the Invictus title with one arm and points to the crowd with his other hand. Thanking the fans for the cheers and displaying the title to the fans.}Vasco Dias: Jayson Matthews is looking mighty worn out after his long evening here at Legacy.
Terri Morasco: You mean after Jason Sandman attacked him backstage and left him bleeding out on the floor?
Vasco Dias: As if Jayson would be anymore ready for this match if Sandman didn’t send him a message.
Terri Morasco: You’re completely delusional.
{The referee talks to each man as Valance prepares to announce the match.}Alison Valance: The following contest is scheduled for one fall! *ONE FALL!* With NO TIME LIMIT! It is the final match in the 2017 Heir to the Throne!!!! The winner of this contest is guaranteed an Imperial Championship match at Extreme Enduance!!!
{The referee calls for the bell and Ryan Shane roars out of his corner with a major charging lariat that sends Jayson falling backward into the turnbuckles. Ryan stays on top of him with several corner clothes lines as Matthews head whips back and forth while the referee does his count.}Vasco Dias: Shane on the attack! He smells blood in the water!
Terri Morasco: Literally! And look at Laura cheer her man on!
{Laura is screaming orders at Shane. Ryan backs off as the referee breaks it up but as soon as he steps back he runs forward again and hits another charging lariat to Jayson Matthews. Shane rips Jayson out of the corner with a snapmare and quickly follows it up with a roll over neck breaker to the applause of Laura Howlett!}Vasco Dias: Look at Shane pick Matthews apart!
Terri Morasco: Ryan Shane is absolutely having his way with Jayson Matthews at the moment but Matthews is used to fighting from underneath.
Vasco Dias: This is one fight Jayson Matthews can’t win!
{Ryan Shane is right up to his feet and Laura Howlett is telling him not to lose focus as Matthews tries to stand. Shane turns his attention to Jayson and immediately connect with a huge swinging neckbreaker and Jayson is flat on his back. Ryan leaps to make a quick cover but Jayson is able to get his shoulder up at two!}Terri Morasco: Shane is trying to end this match as quickly and painfully!
Vasco Dias: As a man in his position should! Ryan Shane is above God of Steel! Ryan Shane has forged a Legacy of Steel and he furthers it with a resounding win here tonight!
Terri Morasco: You’re forgetting Matthews kicked out! Jayson is still in this fight!
Vasco Dias: For now!
{Laura yells more instructions and without physically acknowledging them, Shane peels Jayson off the mat and runs him toward and then throws him over the top rope! Jayson lands hard back first on the apron and Shane gets a running start before connecting with a baseball slide that sends Jayson flying off the ramp and onto the arena floor!}Vasco Dias: Shane is taking this outside the ring, this is bad news for Jayson Matthews!
Terri Morasco: This is not where Matthews wants to be with a man who has remade his career trapped in a steel cage!
{Ryan follows Jayson out and Matthews is trying to crawl to his feet but Shane grips him by the back of the head and pulls Matthews to his feet. “YOU DON’T BELONG IN THE MAIN EVENT!” Shane screams in the face before running Matthews face first into the ring post and as quickly as the skull of Jayson bounces off blood begins to pour from the wound Sandman left him with earlier.}Vasco Dias: The brutality of Steel Legend! Ryan Shane!
Terri Morasco: The referee needs to step in and stop this before it goes too far!
Vasco Dias: The referee needs to let Shane have his way with Matthews until it’s clear that there is only one Heir to the Throne!
Terri Morasco: The match isn’t over yet, Vasco!
{Ryan Shane backs off at the referees command as the medical staff moves in to check on Jayson Matthews. However Laura Howlett moves her way around the ring and whispers in Shane’s ear, to which he smiles. Shane takes off full steam and hits a running forearm shot over the heads of the medical staff!}Vasco Dias: There we go Shane! The medics can have their way with Jayson after the match!
Terri Morasco: They just want to do their job and make sure Jayson is ok!
Vasco Dias: Then stop the match!
{Shane pushes the medics away and pulls Jayson up off the floor. Shane violently throws Matthews back into the ring and Jayson tries to roll to the other side but Ryan is right there with a hard stomp across the chest of Matthews. Shane smirks as he reaches down to pull the bloody Matthews up to his feet and yells in his face “KISS YOUR DREAMS GOODBYE!” Ryan goes for the South Paw Shuffle which ends with a Discus Punch but JAYSON DUCKS!!!!And immediately Matthews hits the Jayson Matthews Experience almost out of instinct and knocks Shane to the mat for the first time this match!}Terri Morasco: There we go! The ever resourceful Jayson Matthews finding a way to fight back!
Vasco Dias: Matthews just made the biggest mistake of his life!
{Jayson staggers his way to a cover but Shane doesn’t stay down for more than a one count with a quick kick out. Shane pushes Jayson off of him and Matthews is slow to stand but Ryan is right up and charges Matthews who leaps up and grabs Shane for the RIBKRACKER!!! Shane bounces up and then falls down before Matthews leaps on top of Shane for another cover! ONE! KICK OUT!}Terri Morasco: Jayson Matthews is making a comeback!
Vasco Dias: Jayson Matthews is hitting a few lucky strikes! He’s got a punchers chance like Conor McGregor but no one touches the Steel Legend, Ryan Shane! Matthews can’t go the distance!
{Jayson is starting to get some steam behind him as he Hulks up while getting to his feet to the roar of the crowd. Jayson lets out a roar as he wipes the blood from his eyes and locks his sight on Ryan Shane who is getting up. Shane however catches the running Jayson and connects with a massive powerslam!!! Shane stands right up now and looks like he’s seething with anger. Jayson just lays there and Shane doesn’t allow it as he takes Matthews by the hair and stands him up. This time Ryan connects with the full South Paw Shuffle and Matthews just falls flat on his back while Laura looks on with pride.Shane hooks both legs and covers Matthews!}Vasco Dias: Matthews is done!
{The referee counts. ONE! TWO! KICK OUT!}Terri Morasco: Not yet! Jayson still has fight left in him!
{Ryan is right up to his feet and gets right in the face of the referee demanding him to do his job better. Laura yells to keep his eyes on Jayson Matthews and Shane listens as he turns back to Matthews who has yet to stand up. Shane stomps over to Matthews and reaches down for him but Matthews grabs Shane for a school boy! ONE! KICK OUT!}Terri Morasco: Matthews with the quick school boy!
Vasco Dias: But still not enough to put Ryan Shane down!
Terri Morasco: To your point, Shane hasn’t put Matthews down yet!
{Ryan is right up to his feet and he looks for a running knee to the head of the kneeling Matthews but Jasyon drops flat and Shane misses. Jayson pushes himself up as Shane turns right into a spinning back fist, a spinning heel kick and then Jayson lines up his shot and connects with a massive super kick!!!Ryan staggers for a second before dropping to the mat and Jayson throws himself over Ryan and hooks both of his legs as the referee slides into position!ONE! TWO! KICK OUT!!!}Terri Morasco: Jayson Matthews nearly had Ryan Shane beat!
Vasco Dias: Near doesn’t mean anything! The Steel Legend is still alive and well!!!
Terri Morasco: But how much does Shane have left in the tank after his earlier match!
Vasco Dias: How much does Jayson have left!?
Terri Morasco: That maybe the question that gives us a winner between the two! Who wants it more!
{Laura is yelling for Shane to get up but Matthews is to his feet first and it seems he’s finding his second wind as he starts to bounce up and down to the cheers of the crowd.Ryan Shane is a little slower to his feet as Matthews takes off and leaps to the ropes, spring boarding off and grabbing Ryan Shane for a tornado DDT! Jayson looks excited now as he looks to Shane who is pushing himself up, Matthews hits the running knee that Shane missed earlier and heads right past him to the ropes where Matthews springboards off with a moonsult and another cover. ONE! TWO! KICK OUT!}Vasco Dias: Matthews is digging deep into his arsenal but nothing is enough to put Ryan Shane away!
Terri Morasco: Every move Jayson connects with takes a little more out of Ryan Shane.
Vasco Dias: Maybe it does but Matthews will never be able to take enough out of Shane to win this match.
Terri Morasco: That’s just you’re opinion!
{Jayson Matthews gets up and he’s looking fired up despite the crimson mask.Matthews gets a running start and hits the ropes, Jayson bounces off and jumps over Shane where Jayson hits the opposing ropes but Shane has gotten back to his feet and hits a Discus Punch! Shane then pulls Matthews right into a pendulum backbreaker!!! Shane sneers and then heads to the corner of the ring, Shane climbs up the ropes and now stands on the top as Matthews is still down.}Vasco Dias: MURU SPLASH!!!
{Shane connects and the referee drops down for the count. ONE! TWO! KICK OUT!!!}Terri Morasco: Still not enough to put Jayson Matthews down!
Vasco Dias: It’s only a matter of time now, Ryan Shane is closing in!
Terri Morasco: Jayson Matthews is the ultimate underdog and he excels with his back against the wall!
Vasco Dias: The only thing his back will be against is the mat!
{Ryan Shane is slow to his feet as Laura again yells to Shane, he nods as he waits for Matthews to stand. Shane is right on Matthews and grabs him for the Right Now Thern Lights Suplex!!! Jayson tries to push through and get right to his feet but Ryan Shane is right on him again this time with the Someday Snap!!!}Vasco Dias: That’s all she wrote for Jayson Matthews.
{Ryan moves in for the cover, ONE! TWO! KICK OUT!}Terri Morasco: Jayson Matthews isn’t done yet!
Vasco Dias: This kid is an idiot!!!Shane is going to kill him!!!
{Ryan Shane looks visibly angry as he stands up and drags Jayson up to his feet with him. Ryan Shane slaps Jayson across the face once, twice, a third time and then looks for the South Paw Shuffle again but Jayson ducks the punch and connects with another Jayson Matthews Experience!!! Matthews moves in for another Ribkracker but Ryanh fires off a hard forearm shot and then hits Jayson with a jumping knee strike! Ryan throws Matthews hard into the corner and runs in after him with the SHANING WIZARD!!!Matthews crumples to the mat!}Vasco Dias: SHANING WIZARD!!!!
{Ryan Shane covers the fallen form of Jayson Matthews and the referee moves into position. ONE! TWO! THREE!!!!}Vasco Dias: THE STEEL LEGEND HAS DONE IT!!!! The one and only two time Man of Steel Champion has just won the 2017 Heir to the Throne and an Imperial Championship match at Extreme Endurance!!!
Terri Morasco: Jayson Matthews put up a strong fight, considering his earlier attack but Ryan Shane was just too much for him.
{Ryan Shane is up to his feet and he almost can’t believe it as Laura Howlett joins him in the middle of the ring.}Alison Valance: Your winner and 2017 HEIR TO THRONE!!!!RYAN SHANE!!!!!
{Ryan almost out of instinct grabs Laura Howlett and plants a huge kiss on her lips!}Vasco Dias: THE HOUSE ALWAYS WINS!!!!
Terri Morasco: What an outstanding match. Jayson Matthews gave it his all but in the end the reigning Man of Steel Champion was just too much.
Vasco Dias: The Steel Legend cements himself as the greatest Man of Steel Champion of all time as he will now forever remain defeated in his second reign and go on to become an Imperial Legend against possibly Andrew Jacobsen.
Terri Morasco: You may be getting ahead of yourself Vasco.
Vasco Dias: Or maybe I’m telling it like it is.
{Laura stands stunned after the kiss as Ryan turns back to the crowd to celebrate as the confetti falls and the crowd boos.}----------------------------------------------------------
HEIRESS TO THE THRONE FINALS
SINGLES MATCH
Helena Sawyer vs Keira Hunter
----------------------------------------------------------
Alison Valance: Ladies and gentlemen, this is the FINAL MATCH in the HEIRESS TO THE THRONE!
{The crowd pops as the lights dim, and a series of twinkling blue lights begin to shine at the mouth of the entrance ramp as the intro of “Blue” by The Birthday Massacre begins to play. She looks up at the ceiling as the music fades, mouthing frantic words to herself as the lights come back up to normal.}Alison Valance: From Amityville, New York, weighing 151 pounds...HELENA...SAAAAWYER!
Terri Morasco: She had her way with the Shieldmaiden earlier after Shea injured her knee on a dive to the outside.
Vasco Dias: She did, and now she faces Keira who seemed to walk away from her match with Kat Conway not in the best of shape.
Alison Valance: And her opponent…
{“Hanging On By A Thread” plays throughout the arena, and out comes Keira, still holding her back from the match she was in earlier, but still looking determined as she walks down to the ring.}Alison Valance: From Los Angeles, California, weighing 128 pounds...KEIRA...HUNTER!
Terri Morasco: She does look to still be feeling the effects from earlier. She is out here though and she knows what a win here would mean.
Vasco Dias: It’s a vault, instant ascension into the upper echelon of the Diamonds Division.
{The two are in the ring, the referee makes sure we’re ready to go and as the bell rings, Helena charges Keira looking to drive her shoulder into her gut while taking her back into the turnbuckle, similar to how she started her earlier match, but apparently Keira was watching and sends a knee up into the chops of Helena, stumbling her back to where Keira can charge forward, hitting a series of Clotheslines before taking Helena down with a Neckbreaker, holding her back as she makes her way back up to her feet.}Keira Hunter: COME ON!
{Keira screams, the adrenaline clearly pumping as she waits for Helena to get up. Helena turns and Keira goes to fire off the same kick that took down Kathleen Conway to start their match earlier but Helena is able to duck it at the very last second. Keira turns back toward Helena who lifts her up and drops her across her knee with a Sideslam Backbreaker, Keira immediately rolling out of the ring, hitting hard on the floor.}Terri Morasco: You can bet Helena saw Keira’s match earlier and goes right to work on the injured back.
Vasco Dias: A great strategy, and one that might garner her the Heiress to the Throne.
{Helena follows Keira to the outside and drives her back first into the barricade at ringside, Keira screaming out in pain as she collapses to her knees only to have Helena grab her by the head and slam the back of it into the same barricade. Keira slumps over as Helena yells at some fans at ringside.}Vasco Dias: Helena has taken over this match.
Terri Morasco: She really has. She’s rolling Keira back into the ring.
{As mentioned, Keira is rolled back into the ring and Helena slides in, hooking the leg, looking to end the match…
ONE!
TWO!
NO!!!}Terri Morasco: The girl has tenacity.
Vasco Dias: She’s not here for no reason.
{Helena sits up and looks down at Keira who looks to really be in bad shape. Helena stands up and grabs hold of Keira, bending her over for what looks to be a setup for the “Dark Mother’s Blessing” but as she torques to spin downward, Keira is able to slip out of it and as Helena turns, she’s kicked right in the face, Keira collapsing on top of her for a cover…
ONE!
TWO!
THRNOOOOOOOO!!!}Terri Morasco: How did Helena get the shoulder up?
Vasco Dias: Not sure there. That kick came out of nowhere, and an immediate fall into the cover. Helena too has plenty of resilience, and shows us that yet again.
{Keira rolls off the cover and lays face down in the mat, smacking her hands against it to try and get rid of the pain that’s ravishing her body. Helena too is now on her stomach, crawling toward the cover. Keira pushes herself up as Helena just about pulls herself up in the corner. Keira charges and plants a knee right in the face of Helena! Keira backs off and Helena stumbles out of the corner where she’s kicked in the gut and lifted into the air only to be dropped with a Brainbuster! Keira covers but only gets a two count yet again, this time slapping the mat in frustration.}Vasco Dias: She needs to watch her emotions. If they get out of line, she can lose this pretty quickly.
Terri Morasco: Perhaps that’s where the younger age is a fault?
{Keira turns and gets to her feet, pulling Helena back up but Helena breaks the grasp of Keira and surprises her, lifting her onto her shoulder and driving her down with the “Dying of the Light” (Big Ending). Helena hooks the outside leg…
ONE! TWO! THRENOOOOOOOOO!}Terri Morasco: The look on Helena’s face tells the story.
{Helena seems to be somewhat upset and turns a glare toward her young adversary. Helena is to her feet and pulls up Keira. She yells at her to “Stay Down” before punching her straight in the face, dropping her to the mat below. A sick smile comes over her face as she lifts Keira up again, shoving her near lifeless body into the corner before unloading a fury of shots to the injured back. Keira is nearly in tears as she slumps down to her knees. Helena takes a few steps back and charges in, planting a knee into the back of Keira’s head, a whiplash effect happens off the bottom turnbuckle.}Terri Morasco: This is getting tough to watch.
Vasco Dias: Things aren’t looking good for the youngest member of our roster to remain on the roster.
{Helena looks to be measuring the youngster who is on her feet but doubled over in pain. Helena charges forward looking for the Lithium Kiss, KEIRA STANDS UP AVOIDING CONTACT! Helena’s leg is exposed and Keira leaps up, stomping at the back of the knee, crippling Helena to the mat.}Vasco Dias: That might be her opening!
Terri Morasco: That knee buckled pretty hard!
{Keira grabs hold of the leg and stomps on it a few times before spinning around and dropping into a Figure Four Leglock! Helena slaps at the mat in fits of rage, doing her best to fight the pain as she arches her back and screams in agony. Keira, breathing heavy, starts yelling to tap but Helena is having none of it as she tries to pull herself to the ropes. In a sudden fit of power, Keira pulls her back to the center of the ring and wrenches back on the hold!}Vasco Dias: She’s got nowhere to go in the center of the ring!
Terri Morasco: This would be the biggest win of this young girl’s career if she could get Helena to tap out.
{Helena fights the pain, then collapses on her shoulders, the referee making the count but only getting to two before Helena shoots her arm up off the canvas. She keeps pumping and eventually is able to turn the hold around, all the damage now going onto Keira who screams in pain but uses her long frame to reach out and grab the bottom rope forcing the referee to break the hold. Both women are down and the crowd is into this match throwing up a “This is Awesome!” chant and the commentators couldn’t agree more.}Terri Morasco: The crowd here tonight is truly appreciative of what they’re seeing here tonight.
Vasco Dias: Indeed they are, we’re witnessing a great matchup!
{Both women are into the ropes, using them for balance as they get back up to their feet. They stumble toward the center of the ring, their backs bumping forcing them to jump around and immediately start slugging it out!}Terri Morasco: THIS IS AN ALL OUT WAR!
Vasco Dias: It shows what the Heiress to the Throne means to these two!
{Helena gets the better of the slugfest, knocking Keira back a step before taking her out with a Spinning Backfist!}Terri Morasco: ATHAME!
Vasco Dias: She connected flush!
{Keira collapses to the mat. Helena covers…
ONE!
TWO!
THREE!}Terri Morasco: WAIT! THE REFEREE IS WAVING IT OFF!
{Keira’s foot is draped over the bottom rope and the referee calls off the three count! Helena can’t believe it and neither can the capacity crowd who is now standing on their feet, those at ringside smacking the barricade to show how much of a big fight feel this has in the arena. Helena stands to her feet, and she’s stalking Keira who is completely out of it. She grabs Keira from behind in a Full Nelson, but immediately, Keira throws her backside into the gut of Helena, not once, but twice, breaking her grasp before turning and hitting her with the INEVITABILITY!}Terri Morasco: Where the hell did she get that from!?
Vasco Dias: I don’t know Terri, but she’s going for the cover!
{Keira hooks the leg on a cover, the fans chanting with the referee’s count!
ONE!
TWO!
THREENOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
Keira nearly jumps off the cover, holding her head as she screams at the top of her lungs! She can’t believe that she can’t put Helena down! Frustrated, she grabs Helena and doesn’t hesitate in lifting her on her shoulders. The grimace on Keira’s face tells the story of how bad her back is hurting, and perhaps the slight hesitation is what allows Helena to slip off of Keira’s shoulders behind her, spinning the young Diamond around, and hitting her with the “Dark Mother’s Blessing” in the center of the ring. Helena covers Keira, not enough energy to hook a leg…
ONE!
TWO!
THREE!
The bell rings as Helena rolls off the cover.}Alison Valance: Here is your winner...and the 2017 HEIRESS TO THE THRONE...HELEEEEENA SAAAAAWYER!
Terri Morasco: What a battle between the IWF’s up and coming stars, and we have a new Heiress to the Throne in Helena Sawyer.
Vasco Dias: Neither one of these women has anything to be ashamed of, and looking forward...Helena and Rowan...that’s scary.
{The referee raises Helena’s hand as Keira slowly rolls out of the ring. Fireworks and pyro go off as Helena regains her composure and just starts laughing in the center of the ring. She motions at her waist then raises her arms in the air as more pyro goes off behind her. She steps out of the ring and stands next to the ring, the “Heiress To The Throne” logo on that particular side and points to herself, continuing to talk to the camera as the Legacy and IWF Logos appear on the screen and we slowly fade out.}
