Say what you want about Ryan Shane the man, Ryan Shane the wrestler is truly an impressive specimen.
Since returning to the IWF earlier this year Ryan Shane has been all but unstoppable. He dominated his competition with a new fiery attitude that put him into contention for the Man of Steel Championship.
He won his second and historic Man of Steel Championship against Devlin Raine, the only man alive or dead who can claim to have defeated the God of Steel in his domain. Ryan Shane went on to have a second, if shorter dominating run as Man of Steel Champion, aligning himself with a known commodity in Laura Howlett, the leader of the House of Howlett.
Together they have been on a meteoric rise.
With Laura Howlett by the side of Ryan Shane he was able to obtain the most points in the 2017 Heir to the Throne and all but guarantee himself a spot in the finals. From there Ryan Shane would go to the finals and defeat Jayson Matthews, who made his second straight appearance in the Heir to the Throne, securing himself an Imperial Championship title shot at Extreme Endurance.
In less than a year Ryan Shane has made history twice, the only two time Man of Steel Champion and due to the rules of the Heir to the Throne, the only undefeated Man of Steel Champion.
The final test of the resurgent career of Ryan Shane is only a couple of weeks away as he prepares to face either Spike Kane or Andrew Jacobsen for the Imperial Championship.
Again, say what you will about Ryan Shane the person, but Ryan Shane the wrestler has had a year unlike anyone in the professional wrestling business before him and if he continues down this path it's easy to see Imperial Championship gold in his future.
