In this brand-new web series, "IWF Shotgun" will take fans on a wild ride as they--as the title suggests--will ride shotgun with some of your favorite Superstars and Diamonds of the Imperial Wrestling Federation!
Kicking off this IWF Network exclusive program, we take a trip down south to the small Texas community of Fredericksburg as we join Fiona McFly behind the wheel as she talks all things wrestling...including a candid look into what truly makes her tick.

{ We find Fiona McFly driving down a small country road after making a grocery run, heading back towards the getaway ranch she shares with husband Jack Gaither. Naturally, she has her hands firmly gripped on the steering wheel of their brand-new 2018 Kia Niro hybrid crossover, doing 51 miles an hour in a 45 zone. A small video camera, pointed in Fiona's direction, has been clandestinely hooked up on the center console so that everyone can get a good shot. And of course...no Fiona-driven excursion could be complete without her first-class driving skills AND her music playlist. And guess which artist or band is playing now? }
"I left my home in Norfolk Virginia
California on my mind
I straddled that Greyhound
And rode into Raleigh
California on my mind
I straddled that Greyhound
And rode into Raleigh
And on across Caroline
We had motor trouble that turned into a struggle
Halfway across Alabam'
And that hound broke down and left us all stranded
In downtown Birmingham..."

{ That's right, it was Elvis Presley's "Promised Land." Today, as we ride along with Fiona, she is in an Elvis-playing mood. She turns down the stereo and smiles for the camera. }
Fiona McFly: Hello everyone! It's such a unique honour and privilege to be able to take part in this inaugural web series. I have to be very quick about me time here though 'cos, here in Texas, what I'm doing is not exactly legal--I'm speeding as it is, not to mention all the other distracted driving laws and stuff like that which are there for a good reason, I might add. Yes, I admit I'm a terrible driver but that don't make me...bad, right?
{ Fiona grinned and chuckled as she took a sip from a bottle of Mountain Dew Throwback. }
Fiona McFly: I can't get enough of Mountain Dew Throwback...but I digress. Anyways, I see people on me Twitter feed asking me "Fiona, what makes you tick and all that?" So I figured...why not share it with you all. First off, I was born in a wartorn part of Northern Ireland, taken from me homeland by me mum 'cos she wanted to hide that she was in IRA and ordered an attack on me father. I was nearly raped whilst in secondary school by an upperclassman gridiron player--it was the same school where I met Jack but that other guy was vile and very foul-minded.
{ She slowed the car down, sensing a police presence up ahead... }
Fiona McFly: A part of me is angry that those things happened to me...yet in the end, I have me faith in God and the Holy Scripture, that I carry with me like a badge of honour. Wrestling is the same thing...I have nights where things go really, really bad and sometimes, I want to just throw something at somebody for no reason. But...that's not me way, not the right way to handle adversity. As I said...faith is a great way of overcoming all odds, and it's not just in wrestling. But it's above and beyond that...it's a guiding principle in me life OUTSIDE the arena as well. Me dream, me ultimate dream, is to someday start a wrestling ministry--where we utilise the sport to teach younger people not only how to defend themselves, but to succeed in other areas as well--especially in the classrooms of our schools...
{ ...but it is too late as we hear the sound of police sirens, followed by a stern male voice yelling from a loudspeaker. }
Voice of Police Officer: Driver....pull your vehicle over to the right--NOW!
Fiona McFly: (sigh) Oh dear...this is not good. I have to go--love you all in bunches. I'll catch you later, okay?
{ The last thing we hear before the camera is shut off is the opening verse and chorus to another popular Elvis standard, "Viva Las Vegas." }
"Bright light city gonna set my soul
Gonna set my soul on fire
Got a whole lot of money that's ready to burn,
So get those stakes up higher
There's a thousand pretty women waitin' out there
And they're all livin' devil may care And
I'm just the devil with love to spare
So Viva Las Vegas,
Viva Las Vegas..."
