Xavier I don’t want to sound like a broken record and I certainly don’t want to beat a dead horse, but it seems there have been few new developments since our last encounter, you have meekly stood back and watched as I have carved a wide swath through the roster, proving my dominance in the singles division, proving my worth and place in this place.
First I silenced the unstoppable cruiserweight Doc…
Then I made the Imperial Champion remember just how useless he really was. See, he didn’t stand a chance against me, and I could tell with every word he muttered last week that he was defeated even before he stepped into that ring with me. I knew that he was nothing more then a shell of the man that won the title last month. I did what I had to do, I stopped his momentum, I halted his progress and I ruined his sense of self security.
Joe will be questioning himself all week, Joe will be second guessing himself all week, and Joe will walk to the ring, look across and see Lex Sense and then know, that his month is over. He will know that his time has passed and he can stumble back to mediocrity, where he will likely spend the rest of his fledgling career. I defeated the Imperial Champion, I made him look like a chump and yet this isn’t the first time I have beaten someone so soundly it will ultimately lead to their downfall.
See, last month Xavier I tore you apart piece by piece, I made an example of you, I made a mockery of your title run and for one reason. You had to go and make it personal didn’t you? You had to bring my family into it. Perhaps if that didn’t happen, things could have ended better for you, maybe you would have lost that title, maybe you wouldn’t have to get up, every day for the last month hoping and praying that I would lose, so that I was no longer considered the number one contender.
But that didn’t happen, did it? I continued my reign of dominance, one that started the day I walked into this federation and one that won’t leave until I walk out the door. One that will torch its way through the roster like a great forest conflagration across the western states
Last month, I did the things I did because I was trying to help you Xavier, to be the phoenix, you truly rise to the top and be considered the best you have to hit rock bottom, you have to be destroyed and reduced to a pile of ash, and last month when I stared down at your broken corpse, when I stared at a man that had nothing left to give, no way to resist whatever I wanted to do.
I knew that you were at rock bottom.
And you can smile at the masses and claim that you weren’t affected at all by the results of last months match, but the world knows…
They know it when they see the color drain from your skin, leaving you pale…
They know it when they hear your voice quiver at the mention of my name…
They know it when they feel your clammy hand slap them a five.
See Xavier, I don’t second guess myself, I don’t have to fight inner demons when I go to that ring because when I go there, when I get inside that ring I am certainly in the place that I am most comfortable.
This isn’t ncw Xavier, there are no limits here, there is no Adam Knite to reel me in when I get carried away… There is no Zelda to try and slow me down when my opponent is really gushing.
But at least I have Lex to keep me in check right?
And that is going to be a problem for you and all the subsequent challengers to my throne, because it will be my throne, it will be my game, it will be my legacy that starts next week.
Because you offer nothing, no fire, no candle no light that I can’t snuff out…
With no regard.
{Scene opens to Jenny Famularo’s locker room after last Monday’s show, there is a large bouquet of flowers in the room. She walks over to the flowers and she smells them, taking a card from a fork sticking out and she reads it out loud}
Jenny: I could never cheat on you… I don’t understand what is going on, but I will figure it out. You looked great in your match tonight and I love you…
{She smiles looking at the flowers and she turns, waiting behind her is Xander with a single rose in his hand, the hands it to her}
Xander: This isn’t an apology because I didn’t do anything wrong, but more of a reminder of how I care for you, about how much I want to be with you.
Jenny: I know you didn’t do it, I don’t know why I thought it. Has anything else happened?
Xander: No, a couple odd text messages, but other then that nothing to note. I think that it is going to die down a bit. Want to go out for dinner? There is no reason for us to have separate rooms tonight, I mean, we are kind of married.
Jenny: I know, I know… Sure, let’s get some dinner.
Xander: Damn, that is some good news, I have missed my wife.
{She smiles and bites her lip before wrapping her arms around him, she hugs him deeply and a warm look of happiness covers Xander’s face, making you wonder just how much of Xander is true, and which part of him rules his overall psyche.}
You can sit all you want and tell the world that you aren’t scared or that what happened last month won’t happen again. I mean, what has changed? You have wrestled in mediocre matches against mediocre opponents whereas I have been featured in every main event this month.
Sound like the more things change, the more they stay the same.
See, things are on their way to being recovered now, I know people like to think I am this huge asshole because I come out here every week, call a spade a spade and then do exactly what I say I am going to do when I step into the ring with them, but really, throughout history those that have told the truth have often been considered the bad guy.
I am here, Lex is here so that we can remind the world that there are different levels of people, and that sometimes no matter how hard you try or how hard you work or how many personal demons you exorcise that someone out there is better then you, is stronger then you and will tear you apart just when you think you are at the top of the game.
Lex and I, and the rest of our group are the alpha males, we are the people that are going to put asses in seats, we are the people that are going to make people turn off their soap operas because they can’t wait to see what is going to happen next and we see the true future, and right now, the future with the current champions we have is not the future that is the best.
Changes need to be made. How can our Imperial Champion and Heavyweight Champion both have their asses handed to them by one single man? What message does that send?
So changes must happen, and they will happen.
Because the best changes are those that happen by force, and you just don’t have the force necessary to stop them. I want you to raise your hands or encounter your darkside or embrace the force. I don’t care what you do Xavier but I want more of a challenge then I had last week, I felt like I was playing ping pong, albeit amusing for a time being after awhile it gets tedious.
Much like your mood changes and life stories, are you a phoenix, are you a dark evil lord, are you a murderer, I don’t know and that in itself is your biggest problem, and ultimately the one that I hope to help you find the answer to. See, when my father donned the Harold mask he was hoping to help change people, to make sure they didn’t live their life in regret, to make sure they didn’t suffer like he did for so many years.
And it worked, it saved families, and maybe I am just trying to help you Xavier, maybe I want you to win, maybe I want you to stand up to the big bad meanie pants who is bullying you around so that you are able to reach your maximum potential and maybe even give me a challenge.
Or maybe I am a shark in the water smelling blood, and there is lots of it Xavier. You are damaged goods, you are not in the mental or physical state to face me next week, and I will certainly exploit that, I will certainly make this just one more lost opportunity.
Because that is what I am best at, and this is my game. You need to find yourself Xavier, because who you see here is who I am. I am not a mythical creature or a social servant of the gay public. I am a husband, and I am a man sick of the pussification of our society.
You and Joe are akin to retarded kids getting certificates of accomplishment in an academic decathlon. Sure it makes you feel good, but deep down you still wonder why you drool on your shoelaces when you tie your shoes.
Lex and I are leaving with two belts, and if things go the way they should, we will have three come this time next week.
Oooohh… Foreshadowing.
{Xander and Jenny are entering the hotel room, her arm is wrapped around his waist and the two look to be happy, flirting with one another as they walk. Jenny jabs a finger into his side and then withdraws it, expressing her pain}
Jenny: That hurt.
Xander: You can’t poke a rock, I mean that is just logic. But women can’t understand logic with their little brains, that is a scientific fact.
{Jenny wacks him in the arm as he smiles at her, her face is surprised at this misogynistic comment but she smiles, realizing that this was merely a joke}
Jenny: You are a real asshole.
Xander: Believe it or not, you aren’t the first person that has accused me of that this month.
{Xander gets to his hotel room and looks at the door, it is ajar, he looks at Jenny who shakes her head, Xander opens the door cautiously and when he opens it the room is trashed, things are thrown all over the floor, the lamp is smashed and the tekevision has a high heel sticking out of it. Xander looks over at Jenny}
Xander: This wasn’t caused from your Latina rage was it?
Jenny: No, I forgave you somewhat in my last promo…
{He enters the room and looks over on the mirror, where a message is written, it says “Why didn’t you call me back” written in lipstick, Xander looks over at Jenny and visibly looks shaken this time, the color in his face drains}
Jenny: I think it might be time to involve the police.
Xander: I think so too, before some freakin’ weirdo stabs me with a icepick.
Jenny: That would make a pretty interesting plot for a movie…
{Xander looks over at Jenny, surprise covering his face.}
Jenny: Too soon?
Xander: I would say so…
{Scene fades as Xander takes his cell phone out dialing some numbers on it and making a phone call}
