âGracias...â
----------------------------------------------------------
{We open up in Cabe Arcaneâs office. Suddenly the door swings open and in struts the Face of the Franchise. He walks confidently on both legs and right up to Cableâs desk as the crowd boo. Steve looks behind him as if he can hear the boos.}Steve Awesome: HEY! Donât boo me, Iâm The Face of the Franchise baby!
{More boos as Steve just rolls his eyes behind his sunglasses. He turns his attention back toward Cable.}Steve Awesome: Look, âboss manâ, I came to get my title match confirmed. Give me AJ!
{Cable looks at him with a cocked eyebrow.}Cable Arcane: What makes you think you should get a title match?
{Steve shrugs.}Steve Awesome: I donât know, heâs beaten everyone else. What? you gonna give Pooler another shot? Let me get a crack at âDaddyâs little boy.â
Cable Arcane: After everything youâve pulled? You faked an injury. Tricked everyone, even myself. And for what?
{Steve shrugs again and chewed his gum with a smirk on his face.}Steve Awesome: Because it was funny.
{Steve points at Cable who clearly isnât amused.}Steve Awesome: Did you see the look on your face?
{Cable shuffles through some stuff on his desk and finds the doctors note that Steve had given to him.}Cable Arcane: It was all an act? I assume this was fake as well?
{Steve feigns a look of amazement.}Steve Awesome: WOW. Look at you. Sure you donât moonlight as a detective as well as a terrible boss?
{Cable Arcane glares at him as he stands up from his seat slowly.}Cable Arcane: Steve,...I havenât even begun to be âterribleâ to youâŠ
{Steve keeps his glare right back on Cable.}Steve Awesome: Me eitherâŠ
{Suddenly the office door swings open and storming In is El Grandé Malo!!}El Grandé Malo: Hola amigos!!!
{The sold out MĂ©xico crowd starts cheering wildly Giving Malo the home country hero treatment. Steve turns his toward the crowd in the arena.}Steve Awesome: Oh come on! He doesnât even really live here! He lives in Maine, you idiots!â
{The crowd boo Steve who just shakes off the jeers. Malo steps forward and you realize he is dressed in khakis a button down and a tie.}El Grandé Malo: Malo is here to make the business casual complaints on senior Awesome, but Malo is thinking maybe now Malo will do complaint straight to his face!
{Malo gets right into Steveâs face and Cable gets ready to possibly break up a fight.}El GrandĂ© Malo: You lied to Malo. Made Malo look like huge jerk. Malo cannot let that stand. Malo is doing the challenge for open fight night! You, Malo, Mano y Mano. One more time! Unless you canât beat me with tricks!
{Steve just laughs and makes a mockery of Maloâs challenge. Spooky fingers and over dramatic jaw drops.}Steve Awesome: Pfft, you think your little jab is supposed to make me rush into another match with you, after Iâve already beaten you twice? Get over it Malo! Iâm gonna go ahead and say n-â
Cable Arcane: Done!
Steve Awesome: N-huh?
Cable Arcane: Steve Awesome vs El Grandé Malo will happen next week at Open Fight Night!
Steve Awesome: Wait! I never agreed to-
Cable Arcane: And just so everything goes the way itâs supposed to, Iâm appointing myself special referee!
Steve Awesome: No thatâs bullshit! See thatâs abuse of power, man! You will regret this!
{Steve storms off in an angry huff leaving a very ecstatic Malo.}El Grandé Malo: Gracias Senor Cable. Thank you so much.
Cable Arcane: No problem, Malo. Just do me a favor, kick his ass!
{Malo pounds his fist into his pound.}El Grandé Malo: Oh, Malo plans on it, Señor Cable. Malo plans on it.
{Malo glares in the direction Steve left in as the scene fades.}----------------------------------------------------------
SINGLES MATCH
Ulf Hednir vs Akihiro Nakamura
----------------------------------------------------------
{We return to ringside with Akihiro Nakamura already in the ring, awaiting his opponent ready for this singles encounter.}Terri Morasco: This could be a really good match, Akihiro is looking to prove himself and Ulf will no doubt be eager to prove that his scintillating form in the summer was no fluke.
Vasco Dias: Spoiler alert, Morasco, Hednir is going to make mince meat of this dweeb.
Terri Morasco: Donât count Akihiro out, you may live to regret it.
{The opening piano to âAeon of Coldâ by Wolfheart begins to play over the audio system; some of the fans are clapping their hands over their head. Fog overtakes the arena as if winter overtaking the autumn. The guitar, bass, and drums all drown out the sound of the piano and the silence from the crowd breaks almost in half: half of the crowd cheering for Ulf, while the other half is not. Ulf Hednir emerges from behind the curtains draped by his wolf headdress; his eyes scan the crowd to see some of the fans still supporting him⊠he reaches to his side retrieving the curved drinking horn hanging there before lifting it up to the crowd-- the half of the crowd that is still supporting him responds by lifting their own souvenir drinking horns in salute to him, and those without drinking horns would raise their arms. âSKĂ
L!â Ulf shouts to the crowd, and the shout is returned to him before he pours some of the liquid from the horn to quench himself. He spills the remainder of the liquid and places the horn back at his side and proceeds to march down to the ring.}Vasco Dias: I canât wait to see Ulf back in action.
Terri Morasco: Ulf really impressed on his first run in IWF, can he recapture that form?
Vasco Dias: I predict big things for the Norwegian.
{The bell rings and the action gets under way as these two men lock up in the ring, pushing back and forth as they try to get the upper hand. Ulf, however, has no desire to play games and yanks Akihiro towards him, driving a knee right into his guts. Wasting little time he begins to unload with some stiff lefts and rights which sends his foe reeling and forces the official to intervene, though Ulf quickly backs off. Akihiro recovers a little and manages to duck a running clothesless, driving and elbow into the back of Ulf as he lifts himself back up that sends the berserker into the turnbuckles. He wastes little time from capitalising on this as Akihiro lands a impressive running splash on Ulf who is a little dazed by his foes quick recovery.}Terri Morasco: I told you this wouldnât be so one sided.
Vasco Dias: Just you wait, itâs comingâŠ
{Akihiro grabs Ulf and goes for a bulldog, but Ulf uses his strength to push him off, rushing forward and landing a boot to the face. Akihiro leaps up and immediately eats a dropkick to the face as Ulf climbs ontop of him to unload a few more fists to the face, relenting before he gets into any trouble. He lifts his foes up and drops him with a DDT before applying a quick headlock. Akihiro sprays his arsma round looking for the ropes and luckily for him he manages to grasp ahold of them and force a breaking of the hold before Ulf can really get a grip on and strangle the oxygen out of him. The referee breaks the pair up as Ulf picks himself up and begins to regroup and plan his next wave of attack.}Vasco Dias: And just like that, Ulf is back in control.
Terri Morasco: Heâs a talented performer, but its going to take a lot more than that to put this opponent away.
Vasco Dias: Weâll see
{Ulf stalks over to pick up Akihiro but in a more of desperation finds a foot in his face followed by a flurry of fists which drive him back across the ring. Akihiro grabs Ulf and drops him with a snap suplex, leaping in the air to drop a leg across his throat. He goes for a pin but the Norseman manages to kick out after two to keep himself in this tie. Akihiro hits the mat with frustration before picking himself up. Ulf staggers to his feet but soon regrets it as he eats an enziguri but itâs only managed to daze the Norwegian. Akihiro swings and elbow at him but Ulf blocks, driving a fist into his jaw that sends Akihiro staggering backwards. Ulf wastes little time before dropping Akihiro with a Fishermanâs Suplex that rocks the ring. Ulf decides not to go for a cover, instead pulling Akihiro up to his feet but to his surprise his foe begins to struggle as the pair tussle for control back and forth.}Terri Morasco: Akihiro will not quit!
Vasco Dias: He may live to regret it.
{Akihiro pushes Ulf off of him and ducks under a attempted clotheslines, rushing to rebound off the ropes in an attempt to build up some momentum. He rushes back towards his target but there is absolutely nothing he can do to get out of the way of an absolutely thunderous Thorâs Rage which connects brutally with his jaw. Akihiro hits the mat with a sickening thud as Hednir wastes no time and immediately goes for the cover. The referee hits the mat, 1âŠ. 2âŠ. 3! Ulf Hednir has picked up an impressive win here tonight as he lifts himself up to his feet, yanking his arm away from the official as he raises his fist of his own accord, roaring at the crowd as he does so.}Terri Morasco: Ulf was in imperious form here tonight, somebody has a light a fire under him.
Vasco Dias: I donât think heâs finishedâŠ
{Ulf slides out of the ring and goes over the ring steps, making a beeline straight for Mjolnir which he grasps eagerly as the official checks on Akihiro. The crowd boos as he slides into the ring smiling as he stalks Akihiro, grabbing the referee and throwing him to one side. Ulf grins as he pushes his victim with his foot, mocking him with vicious taunts before raising his arm into the airâŠ}Vasco Dias: Go on! Smite him!
Terri Morasco: Youâre unbelievable.
{Ulf goes to strike his prey when suddenly the PA systems erupt and the crowd goes wild as Nighthawk comes barrelling down to the ring. Ulf stops before he strikes Akihiro and prepares to fight Nighthawk who slides into the ring grasping a steel chair, swinging for Ulf immediately who ducks and bails from the ring, shaking his head in a ânot todayâ motion. Nighthawk begins to check on Akihiro as Ulf makes his way up the ramp, the hammer casually clung over his shoulder as he smiles, pleased with himself. Nighthawk lunges up and asks for a mic, thrusting it his lips as he looks up the ramp at Ulf.}Nighthawk: Enough.
{Ulf stares back at Nighthawk⊠and just laughs. Nighthawk stares right through him as he helps Akihiro to his feet as IWF personnel flood the ringside area, much to the disappointment of the crowd who wanted to see their hero get his hands on Ulf. The personnel help Akihirio to his feet and begin to escort Nighthawk away as Ulf simply waves at him menacingly, the bodies of men standing between the pair as the tension is palpable.}Terri Morasco: Why do I get the impression that this may be far from over?
Vasco Dias: Fingers crossed next time Ulf manages to crack some skulls open, it was disgusting of Nighthawk to not let the fans get what they wanted.
Terri Morasco: I donât think youâre anywhere near on the same wavelength as our audienceâŠ

âHave You Seen This Boy?â
----------------------------------------------------------
{We open on Vasco Dias and Terri Morasco both sitting solemnly.}Terri Morasco: Earlier today something strange happened involving Jayson Matthews.
Vasco Dias: I'm still not exactly sure what to say about it besides what the hell happened?
Terri Morasco: I'm with you Vasco. We've seen some strange stuff in IWF and while, well... Let's just go to the footage.
{We flash to a black screen that reads "EARLIER TODAY" then to a shot of Jayson Matthews happily walking into the arena with his bag over his shoulder. Jayson stops to greet a few fans who turned out early and signs some merch before taking a few selfies with them. Jayson continues on toward the arena when screeching tired catch his attention. Jayson truns just in time to avoid being run down by a white panel van. Jayson stands perplexed as the door slides open and six masked men in hoodies spill out and grab him.}Jayson Matthews: WHAT THE HELL!?
{Matthews tries to fight back but one of them puts a cloth over his mouth and nose and Jayson starts to pass out. Finally Jayson is unable to resist and the men drag him back to the van, throwing him in hard and piling in behind him. They slam the door closed and the tries screech again as the van peels out of the parking garage and through the door to the outside and disappears. We cut back to Vasco and Terri.}Terri Morasco: So it appears Jayson Matthews was abducted...
Vasco Dias: Maybe not the craziest thing to happen in IWF but what the hell?
Terri Morasco: We know the local police have been notified and are looking for him. We just hope Jayson is returned safely.
Vasco Dias: Abductions are no laughing matter and I'm just left wondering why?
Terri Morasco: I don't know Vasco and I'm truly worried. Jayson is such a bright spot in professional wrestling.
Vasco Dias: One of the best people I've ever met.
{The scene cuts to commercial on the somber looks of the commentators.}----------------------------------------------------------
TRIPLE THREAT MATCH
Pax Stormcrow vs Caleb Lockwood vs El Grandé Malo
----------------------------------------------------------
Alison Valance: The following triple threat match is for ONE FALLâŠ
{The house lights dim slightly as the words âOLĂâ appear on the screen. The fans begin chanting along with the music as El GrandĂ© Malo bursts out from behind the curtain. He stomps his way out to the center of the stage, bouncing up and down in time with the music.}Alison Valance: Coming down to the ring first, El GrandĂ© Malo!!!
Vasco Dias: He certainly seems excited to be here. Youâd think after how his last match went would have dulled his mood slightly.
Terri Morasco: Steve Awesome lied to all of us. I donât see you broken up about it.
Vasco Dias: I keep my emotions inside where they belong, Terri.
{He hops up and down pointing into the air and quickly begins jogging down toward the ring, slapping the outstretched hands along the way, before sliding into the ring and heading for the nearest corner. He scales the turnbuckles and continues to hype up the chanting crowd before dropping down and pulling on the nearby top rope, stretching while waiting for the match to begin.}Terri Morasco: How prepared do you think Malo is for this match?
Vasco Dias: How prepared is anyone? Sure, it has the male roosterâs newest cinnamon roll but you canât forget about The Packâs Caleb Lockwood.
Terri Morasco: With a triple threat itâs always hard to know where your focus should be, thatâs true.
Alison Valance: Coming down to the ring next⊠Pax Stormcrow!
{The lights in the arena dim, and there is the sound of a powerup collected in an old video game system. A beat is laid out, filling the arena with the sounds of a Midi file. The lights pulse in time with the music. As they flash as the beat trembles, an explosion of sparks rocks the entrance stage. Pax runs out, shouting at the crowd to hype them up as the chanting on Suplex by A Tribe Called Red kicks in.}Terri Morasco: Pax made clear his intentions here tonight. He is more dedicated than ever.
Vasco Dias: He can be dedicated all he wants. With the two other corners of the ring being who they are Iâm not sure itâll help.
{Witherspoon walks out shortly afterwards. The big manager wears a charcoal gray suit. He glares angrily at the crowd, before following after his client. He jumps in place at the entrance ramp, before making his way down to the arena. He slaps hands with fans, especially taking the time to pay attention to a kid or two on the way down to the ring. Witherspoon, ignores the crowd. He slides under the ropes and rolls to his feet, circling the ring as he shouts to the crowd with a giant smile on his face, while Spoon paces at ringside in his corner}Vasco Dias: At least with Caleb being here thereâs a chance I might see some bloodshed.
Alison Valance: Last down to the ringâŠCaleb Lockwood!
{A roaring scream pierces the air, and as the crunching guitars of "Rise, Rebel, Resist" play Caleb Lockwood stalks out onto the stage, eyes fixed on the ring as he licks his lips idly. He stalks down to the ring, hands clenching and unclenching as his eyes shift back and forth to scan the crowd. As he approaches the ring, Caleb slides into the ring, rolling to the side and coming up in a crouch. His eyes never stop moving as he backs into the corner of the ring, cracking each of his joints in turn and waiting for the match to start.}Terri Morasco: I canât say I envy anyone in that ring.
Vasco Dias: Donât be a coward, Morasco
{The three men stand in their respective corners all looking at each other. Itâs clear they are measuring each other up before the bell rings. Caleb seems the most relaxed in the ring compared to the other two who are eyeing him more.}Terri Morasco: Seems like everyone has a feeling Caleb is the one to look out for here.
Vasco Dias: Heâs like a dog with a bone. He has a tendency to go after what he wants until they canât get back up.
{As soon as the bell rings Caleb moves from his corner with speed, doing a running kick to Paxâ hamstring before turning and knocking Malo with a Facebreaker knee smash. Malo staggers back slightly as Pax goes after Caleb with a Belly to back Suplex.}Terri Morasco: Strong opening from Pax here.
Vasco Dias: But will it be enough? Who can say.
{Pax hits Caleb with a Leg Sweep as soon as he stands up. Pax goes for an arm bar, locking Caleb into it. Caleb tries to wiggle further into the ropes but Pax uses his weight to keep Caleb locked in.}Terri Morasco: Caleb might be in trouble here.
Vasco Dias: Perfect technical work from Stormcrow. Not what I would do but taking out your biggest obstical early isnât a bad play.
{Malo climbs onto the turnbuckle and as Pax tightens his hold on Caleb. Malo bounces once before doing a Flying cross body hitting Pax to the mat on top of Caleb.}Vasco Dias: Oh that was a wonderful move from Malo!
{Caleb elbows Pax in the face to get free as Pax rolls away. Malo kicks Caleb as soon as he gets to his feet kicking the Pack member into the turnbuckle. Just as Malo is about to pursue Pax picks the smaller man up and hitting him with a German Suplex.}Vasco Dias: None of these men are going down easy. I love it. I want blood though. Hit him in the nose! Make him bleed!
Terri Morasco: Who?
Vasco Dias: Iâm not picky.
{Malo stands up and Pax hits him with another suplex.}Terri Morasco: Pax is building momentum again.
Vasco Dias: But heâs forgotten about the dog in the ringâŠ
{Caleb waits until Pax stands up to hit him with Facebreaker knee smash sending the younger man down. Caleb turns and looks at Malo who backs up slightly.}Vasco Dias: See? What did I say?
Terri Morasco: uh oh.
{Malo hits Caleb with a Surprise superkick to the face hitting him into the turnbuckle again. Malo backs up and does a Hangtime dropkick to Caleb but he moves out of the way at the last second causing Malo to hit the turnbuckle.}Terri Morasco: Ouch. Poor Malo.
Vasco Dias: Caleb delivering the pain where he can.
{With Malo cornered, Caleb does a Running knee strike, followed by a sitout facebuster hitting the other man on the ropes. Malo rolls slightly to lay on the apron.}Terri Morasco: Is Malo okay? He doesnât look okay.
Vasco Dias: Caleb is wanting to take everyone down in this match. Perfect.
{Just as Pax is getting up from the mat Caleb hits him with a Running somersault neckbreaker. He waits just long enough for Pax to stagger back to his feet before hitting him with a Beast of War.}Terri Morasco: Oh no!
Vasco Dias: This is not looking good.
{Caleb walks over to Pax and hits him with a CURBSTOMP.}Terri Morasco: I hate that move.
Vasco Dias: Itâs because you have a weak stomach.
{Caleb goes for the pin.
1
2
3!!}Terri Morasco: I canât believe thisâŠ
Vasco Dias: Caleb went out there to hurt everyone and he succeeded.
Alison Valance: The winner⊠CALEB LOCKWOOD!
{"Rise, Rebel, Resist" plays as Caleb stands up and looks over the ring as the down Malo and Pax who still isnât moving. He raises his arm in the air smirking at Witherspoon.}----------------------------------------------------------

âAn Offer...â
----------------------------------------------------------
{A camera catches Bob Pooler standing backstage, leaning against the wall checking his phone. Dean Harper comes walking up behind him.}Dean Harper: Hi Bob.
Bob Pooler: {TurningâŠ} ⊠Dean. Whatâs up, you here to lay me out too or is there something on your mind?
Dean Harper: Iâm here to talk. Thereâs nothing wrong with that, is there?
Bob Pooler: Like how you âtalkedâ to Cross? After everything youâve done to Spike? What would we have to talk about?
Dean Harper: {SmilingâŠ} Those were old grunges working themselves out. Nothing that concerns you, is it? Youâre part of Spikeâs little group but itâs not like youâve all been on the same page as of late. Talking isnât out of the question, hm?
Bob Pooler: Fine; what do you want to talk about?
Dean Harper: An offer.
Bob Pooler: Get lost.
Dean Harper: Come on, donât you want to at least hear me out?
Bob Pooler: Thereâs nothing you can say, no offer you can make, that would interest me.
{Pooler starts to walk away}Dean Harper: Nothing? Not even the Imperial Title?
{Pooler stops walking.}Dean Harper: youâve noticed the changes everyone gets when they swear themselves over donât you? How Max, Brooklyn and Caleb have improved by leaps and bonds? How most of us have all gotten titles?
{Bob Pooler doesnât turn around.}Dean Harper: We could offer you the guidance you so desperately deserve. We could help you overcome the failures youâve been living with.
{Bob turns around and stalks into Deanâs personal space.}Bob Pooler: You can go to hell.
Dean Harper: {SmilingâŠ} Been there. Done that.
Bob Pooler: Iâm not gonna be someoneâs puppet.
Dean Harper: Could be argued youâre Spikeâs right now.
{Bob pauses for a moment before grabbing a fist full of Deanâs shirt and shoving him backwards into the wall. Bob says nothing but just glares into the light blue eyes of Harper. After a heartbeat, Pooler pushes himself away from Dean, his eyes never leaving the Pack leader as he backs away.}Bob Pooler: You stay the hell away from me, got it?!
{Pooler turns and storms off into the distance, leaving a mildly amused looking Harper in his wake.}----------------------------------------------------------
SINGLES MATCH
Nighthawk vs Devlin Raine
----------------------------------------------------------
Alison Valance: âThis next contest is scheduled for one fall.â
{{The Lights Darken as the Intro of "OMEN" starts to play, whilst the beat picks up Devlin emerges from the crowd wearing his jacket and the Guy Fawkes mask, the Destiny Dealer steps up on the guard railing slowly as he slips off the mask and slides under the bottom rope to salute at the crowd waving his hands to the music as if conducting an orchestra and then turns to keep eyes about him.}
Alison Valance: âIntroducing first, from Chicago, Illinois, and weighing in at 210 poundsâŠ. âThe Destiny Dealerâ Devlin Raine!â
{As the ring announcer moves to a neutral corner the lights in the sold-out arena dim for just a moment as the opening strains of "I Remember (Spartan X Intro)" by Tristam boom out over the sound speakers, as Nighthawk walks to the ring confidently shaking hands with the crowd as he does so. Climbing up on the outside of the 2nd and 3rd turnbuckles the "Wrestling Machine" exhorts the crowd to make more and more noise before climbing into the ring and submitting himself to be checked out by the referee.}
Alison Valance: âAnd his opponent, from Chicago, Illinois, and weighing in at 185 poundsâŠ. âThe Master of 1000 HoldsââŠâŠ âThe Wrestling Machineâ Nighthawk!â
Terri Morasco: âAnd after a grappling-heavy bout with the supremely impressive young rookie Pax Stormcrow, Nighthawk resumes battle with one of his most difficult opponents, Devlin Raine. This ought to be a fun, fast-paced, contest Vasco.â
Vasco Dias: âThis is, Terri, going to be a technically proficient contest. And quite frankly, on most other nights, this would be a main event. I expect weâre going to see this match carry some of the intensity we would have seen in a main event match, even for an opener. And with what we saw from Nighthawk and Ulf Hednir, Nighthawkâs temper may be a little hotter than normal.â
{As the referee checks both men for any sort of foreign object the crowd roars in excitement for what they expect to be an absolute classic, finally sitting down after the referee rings the bell to start the contest. Shaking hands with each other Nighthawk and Devlin immediately move into a collar-and-elbow lockup as they jockey for position against each other, finding themselves tied up in the ropes almost immediately and continue to jockey for position as they fall through the ropes and continue pushing against each other until they realize where they are and reluctantly break the collar-and-elbow lockup before rolling back into the ring and stretching out against the ropes, each clearly coming to terms with the intensity that this bout is going to require. Going back to the collar-and-elbow Devlin pummels through into a waistlock only for Nighthawk to counter with a standing switch right into a hammerlock, quickly chaining that through into a standing European-style top wristlock before adding a back heel trip to take that over to the mat. But as he tries to switch up the top wristlock into a more traditional version of the hold the âDestiny Dealerâ takes advantage of the momentary opening left by the readjustment and quickly counters into a front headscissors, grinding the point of his elbows in between the shoulders as he does so to try and keep the hold applied as he moves back towards the ropes. Keeping his palms on the mat Nighthawk shakes his finger no when the referee comes over to see if he wants to quit, slowly and deliberately moving himself into a full headstand while his hands are working to pry apart the headscissors from underneath before gracefully executing an escape from the hold right into the seated wristlock that he had wanted originally. Pulling himself up to his feet, the smirk on his face that was there at the start of the bout having never left even for a moment, Devlin nods his head in appreciation for the slickness of the counter before cartwheeling into a top wristlock of his own before converting that into a standing cravate which Nighthawk simply spins out of into a tilt-a-whirl armdrag only for Devlin to counter that into a backslide attempt that gets a long 2-count before both men retreat to the ropes, their eyes never leaving the other. Stretching out against the ropes carefully, neither man taking their eyes off of the other as much due to pride as anything else, the âWrestling Machineâ carefully moves into the center of the ring again and this time quickly goes for a collar-and-elbow lockup and both men again jockey for position before finding themselves in the ropes, this time breaking before falling through the ropes although not without a rather large degree of negotiation on the part of the referee. Leaning against the top rope, stretching out carefully, the âMaster of 1000 Holdsâ takes a moment to work out what he wants to do next.}
Terri Morasco: âAnd early on, this match has been wrestled at a very quick pace. This has been a match built, at least in the beginning, around counters and speed. I donât know who a pace like this is better for, Vasco.â
Vasco Dias: âNormally, I would say Devlin wants this to be a brilliantly fast pace. But Nighthawkâs conditioning borders on the legendary. I think weâre going to see this go all night, and by the time weâre finished, we may be witnesses to a classic.â
{Quickly going for a knucklelock Devlin quickly spins into a waistlock only for Nighthawk to counter into a hammerlock and quickly lifting that into a standing armwringer, causing Devlin to attempt to counter first by turning into the standing armwringer to try and switch out into a standing cravate. Finding that opening closed Devlin then decides to try to hit a quick armdrag to get himself out of trouble only for Nighthawk to roll through the armdrag into a grounded top wristlock as he continues to focus on the arm. Placing his knee in the middle of the shoulder to keep the arm from wriggling out Nighthawk begins to work on the wristlock, only for Devlin to feint an attempt at the same headstand that Nighthawk looked for earlier before somehow hitting a twisting headscissors necklock. Shaking his fingers no, as his verbal answer is currently muffled, Nighthawk now begins to try and escape this position as he begins to move side-to-side only to get the headscissors applied once again before he can fully break free which the âDestiny Dealerâ supplements by turning the hold sideways and performing a full plank while still keeping the hold applied. Asking if he wants to submit now the referee is again rebuffed, this time with a loud but still respectful âNo, Mr. Refereeâ, the âWrestling Machineâ now begins to work on prying the feet apart so he can get out of this position which he is finally able to do and decides to go for a quick cross-armbreaker attempt which Devlin quickly escapes by sliding through the bottom rope to the floor. Shaking out his arm, casting a wary glance at his opponent in the ring, Devlin carefully slides back in at the count of 6 before going for and getting a standing Japanese stranglehold, turning that over into a camel clutch variant of the hold that again draws the referee over to see if he wants to submit. Shaking his fingers no when the referee steps in Nighthawk slowly scoots his lower body through Devlinâs legs to escape the camel clutch before somehow sliding through the Japanese stranglehold to the point where he can slip his way out of it and counter into another European-style top wristlock which Devlin does a perfect backflip out of right into a tight small package that gets a long 2-count which Nighthawk reverses into one of his own that also gets another 2-count before both men kneel at the ready, Devlin shaking out his arm as Nighthawk tries to loosen the muscles in his neck. Pulling themselves up to their feet both men shake hands with each other before going back to an intense collar-and-elbow lockup that sends both men through the ropes where they continue to jockey for position against each other until the referee leaves the ring to convince both men to return to the ring, which they finally do.}
Terri Morasco: âWeâve seen a lot of high-end technical wrestling, Vasco, in this contest. But I donât think itâs ridiculous to wonder if weâre going to see this match heat up a bit. Honestly, right now, you can begin to see something starting to happen in that regard.â
Vasco Dias: âI think Devlinâs statements earlier in the week, Terri, may be the cause of that tension. When you tell someone as skilled, and experienced, as Nighthawk that you donât think he wants to be great it will light a fire under him. I think, Terri, the longer that this match goes the more weâre going to see that tension build and build.â
{Stepping into the ring carefully, each man warily looking at the other, both men go for a collar-and-elbow lockup only for Nighthawk to come through the back door with a standing armwringer which he takes to the mat with the aid of a dragon screw on the arm which allows him to quickly lock in a wristlock. Swatting away the headscissors attempt, wagging his finger in quiet confidence as if to indicate that trick isnât going to work at all, Nighthawk rolls himself away from the ropes while still keeping the wristlock applied as he flips his cherry bomb-red hair out of his eyes. Placing his palm on the mat Devlin quickly uses that to get to a knee before rolling inside the wristlock and then using his feet to slowly widen Nighthawkâs base until he can reach up with his free hand and pull Nighthawk into another tight small package for a 2-count. Getting up to his feet, shaking out his arm noticeably now as the work on it is quite obviously beginning to bear fruit, Devlin shoves Nighthawk off and then lands a hard forearm to the jaw as the former Man of Steel champion doesnât seem to be all that interested in continuing the pure wrestling. Wobbling for a moment, the surprise of having the blow thrown stunning him as much as the force behind it, the âWrestling Machineâ flips his long cherry bomb-red locks out of his face and asks Devlin if heâs sure before returning fire with a massive European uppercut followed by a tilt-a-whirl armdrag that sends the âDestiny Dealerâ through the bottom rope to the floor. Going for a diving frankensteiner from the ring apron to the floor Nighthawk lands hard on his back and on the back of the head when Devlin moves out of the way at the last moment. Shaking out his arm Devlin rolls Nighthawk into the ring before hitting a gorgeous springboard dropkick to the back of the neck followed by a gorgeous bridging dragon suplex that gets a long 2-count before rolling through into an elevated facelock. Cranking back tightly on the facelock Devlin grunts in disappointment when the âMan of 1000 Holdsâ somehow is able to grab the bottom rope to force a break of the hold.}
Terri Morasco: âAnd after more excellent pure wrestling, Devlin Raine finally saw an opening and took advantage of it. But as weâve said every time weâve seen him, Nighthawk is trememndously resilient. How much does Devlin want to injure a man he considers a friend? Because, Vasco, he may have to do just that to beat him.â
Vasco Dias: âIf Iâm Devlin Raine, I get the idea of beating Nighthawk by submission out of my head. Since heâs been in the IWF heâs tapped out very infrequently. Youâve got to hold his shoulders to the mat. Again, Terri, is Devlin willing to do what he needs to do to make that happen?â
{Moving to his feet quickly Devlin heads to the ring apron and lands a cracking enzuigiri to the back of the head before hitting a gorgeous diving senton that gets a very long 2-count. Pulling Nighthawk to his knees Devlin lands a basement dropkick to the face followed by a basement Burning Chrome that gets a very long 2-count. Pulling his man up to his feet Devlin goes for a Dev-DT only for Nighthawk to land a series of forearm shivers to the jaw to get himself out of trouble before running the ropes looking for a Manami Roll only to get caught in a beautiful Tiger Bomb as a counter that gets another long 2-count. Blinking his eyes to deal with the blow he just took Devlin takes a moment to check to see if the refereeâs count was accurate before keeping the pressure on, placing Nighthawk on the top rope before following him up and looking for an avalanche frankensteiner only to be shoved to the mat by Nighthawk who is too dazed to do anything but sit on the top turnbuckle for a moment to catch his breath. Finally getting his bearings Nighthawk comes off with a top-rope crossbody and gets a very long 2-count that sucks the air out of the sold-out arena. Deciding to try and husband his advantage Nighthawk goes off the ropes and this time gets the Manami Roll he was looking for as Devlin rolls to the floor to catch his breath. Taking another gulp of air Nighthawk gets a running start and hits a gorgeous tope con hilo on the âDestiny Dealerâ before rolling him back in the ring. Going for a springboard frankensteiner the âWrestling Machineâ is forced to course-correct by landing on his feet after Devlin moves out of the way, walking right into a Brain Dance followed by a bridging tiger suplex that gets a very long 2-count. Shaking his head in frustration Devlin heads onto the ring apron and hits a gorgeous slingshot inverted tornado DDT before taking Nighthawk back up to the top turnbuckle where he hits a floatover superplex that gets another long 2-count. Hitting a basement superkick almost as soon as Nighthawkâs shoulders leave the mat Devlin finally has had enough and signals for the No Face which lands only for the âMaster of 1000 Holdsâ to fall through the middle ropes to the floor as Devlin screams wordlessly in the ring.}
Terri Morasco: âIf there are two more evenly matched competitors on this show tonight, I want to see who they are Vasco. As a pure wrestling match, it was high-level chess. As a battle between two equals, this has been a classic battle of attrition. The longer this goes, the more it looks like itâs just going to be a question of who hooks in a complete pinning combination.â
Vasco Dias: âWhen you think of great junior heavyweight rivalries, there are a lot of appropriate selections. What weâre seeing here, in this match and in the series that these men have had, stands the test of time with all of them.â
{Pulling himself up to his feet, staring glassy-eyed at Devlin Raine who is doing the same, Nighthawk leans against the guardrail only to be driven chest-first into it from a tope by Devlin Raine. Rolling Nighthawk back into the ring Devlin quickly heads to the top turnbuckle and hits a beautiful frog splash for a 2-count, looking in shock as Nighthawk does not kick out but rather bridges out of the pinfall attempt. Going for a backdrop driver Nighthawk is able to counter out into a schoolboy cradle that gets a long 2-count only to walk right into a Dev-DT which Devlin covers and is again when Nighthawk bridges out of the pinfall attempt again before the refereeâs shoulder hits the mat at the count of 2. Looking around in utter shock that Devlin is taking all of this and still has enough energy to bridge out Devlin heads to the ring apron and looks to springboard in with another inverted tornado DDT only to get caught with a step-up enzuigiri using the middle turnbuckle as a springboard causing him to collapse to the floor outside. Taking a moment to catch his breath and get his bearings the âWrestling Machineâ quickly hits a gorgeous spaceman asai moonsault to the floor. Rolling Devlin in Nighthawk goes for a springboard frankensteiner only for Devlin to roll through into a pinning combination for the 3-count.}
Alison Valance: âThe winner of this matchâŠ. âThe Destiny Dealerâ Devlin Raine!â
{As Devlin has his hand raised in victory, Nighthawk slumps against the bottom rope in tears. Picking his friend up Devlin hugs Nighthawk and raises his hand in victory before they both go to the back, Nighthawk still almost inconsolable.}

SEGMENT
âTake Whatâs Yours...â
----------------------------------------------------------
{We comeback from commercial break, and âCult of Personalityâ begins to play over the speakers, the crowd jumping to their feet as Mike Laszlo and Alexis Caffrey step out onto the stage to a nice ovation from the Monterrey crowd. They head to the ring, smiles on their faces.}Terri Morasco: I wonder what this could be about?
Vasco Dias: I donât know, but they seem happier than they should be after he failed to become Imperial Champion again.
Terri Morasco: A hard hitting affair that was, one has to wonder why heâs out here.
{The two enter the ring and play to the crowd before Mike reaches down for a microphone.}Mike Laszlo: Last Sunday at Metamorphosis...things didnât quite go as planned for me, but God damn what a match, am I right?
{The crowd shows their gratitude for the amazing main event.}Mike Laszlo: I mean, you had four guys in that ring who just wanted to beat the crap out of each other, and I think we delivered.
{More applause.}Mike Laszlo: Now, in that match, I wasnât the one pinned, and if you ask me, our illustrious, moral champion couldnât beat me straight up. So Andrew, Iâm out here toâŠ
{The lights go down in the arena. The synthesized beginning of "Remember The Name" by Fort Minor begins to play as the crowd gets antsy in their seats. As the song begins to play, a single spotlight appears from the rafters on the stage and we see Derek Brooks, his hands stretched out, basking in the warmth of the light.}Terri Morasco: ITâS DEREK BROOKS!
Vasco Dias: We havenât seen him since he beat up Mason St. Croix a few months back.
Terri Morasco: He picked a hell of a moment to reappear, thatâs for sure.
{Derek slowly lowers his gaze to the ring. The lights return to normal as a series of boos hits Derek atop the stage.}Derek Brooks: Did you miss me?
{More boos. Mike leans against the ropes in the ring, clearly unamused by the interruption. Derek turns his gaze to the ring, noticing the annoyed look on Mikeâs face.}Derek Brooks: Oh, Iâm sorry...did I interrupt? Did I stop you from trying to put yourself in a match in which you donât belong...again? You come back time and time again and expect yourself to be thrust into the spotlight, and why? Because you were Imperial Champion once upon a time? You want a real story, send that piece of ass home with me and ask her how it went the next morning.
{The crowd letâs out an âOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHH!!!â Mike doesnât seem impressed, and Alexis looks offended. Mike pulls the microphone toward his face.}Mike Laszlo: Listen, first off, yes, I was an Imperial Champion, also a Man of Steel, a Joker In The Pack, and a winner of the Extinction Event...as opposed to you whoâs...done nothing.
{The crowd seems to be enjoying the slinging of insults.}Mike Laszlo: Second of all...if I sent this woman home with you, sheâd have you crying a safe word within the first five minutes.
{This garners a laugh as Derek looks around annoyed.}Derek Brooks: Real cute...like your loss last week.
Mike Laszlo: And where were you? Not even on the card.
Derek Brooks: You think youâve got it all figured out. I was training. I was making myself look as good as all these women expect me to be, and making them all wish they could be with me. I was getting ready for this very moment, where I figured one of you idiots from that Fatal Four Way who didnât get pinned would come out and cry about a rightful spot. WELL LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT RIGHTFUL SPOTS! I WANT MINE!
Mike Laszlo: You? Again, youâve done nothing...earn it.
Derek Brooks: I just figured Iâd come out here and take yours.
{Mike backs up and draws a line with his foot in the ring.}Mike Laszlo: Come cross it.
{Derek wags his finger and shakes his head.}Derek Brooks: No, no, no, no. We donât do things on your time...we do them on mine. You and that piece of ass...better look over your shoulder from here on out. My time is now...and I wonât be stopped.
{Derek drops the microphone as âRemember The Nameâ plays again. He smiles as the camera cuts back to Mike who simply shakes his head in disdain as we cut to commercial.}----------------------------------------------------------
TRIPLE THREAT MATCH
Vivienne Rodgers vs Fiona McFly vs Gabriella Luna
----------------------------------------------------------
{The opening trumpets to Confident by Demi Lovato begin to play as the lights in the ring drop, leaving gold and green spotlights on the stage and ramp. The lights in the arena pulse with similar colors as the bass kicks in. Vivienne herself does not appear until the lyrics begin in Earnest, walking on from backstage with Ciara alongside her. Vivienne grins confidently as she raises a fist into the air on stage, holding the pose for a few seconds before stepping toward the ring, throwing a few punches and a kick as she begins to walk. She jumps up onto the apron, walking alongside the outer part of the ring before going in over the top rope, interacting with the crowd as she circles the inside of the ring. Ciara follows her in, circling opposite her and working to get the crowd psyched up for the match. She takes to the center of the ring as the chorus plays, raising her fists into the air before she and her manager share a high five before Vivienne settles into her corner as Ciara slips out to ringside.}Terri Morasco: Vivienne Rodgers seems to be enjoying herself these days.
Vasco Dias: Right...makin' friends ain't gonna do you no good in a cruel world.
{The relentless opening chords of "Vortex" by Los Savants crash out as Gabriela Luna dashes out onto the stage, throwing her fist into the air to the cheers of the crowd. She shouts at the crowd, beckoning them on with her hands, and grins widely at them before turning and charging down the ramp. Gabriela leaps and slides feet-first under the bottom rope, rolling to her feet and coming up with a defiant shout of joy. She runs over to the nearest empty corner, leaping up onto the second turnbuckle and further beckoning the crowd on before hopping down into a crouch and waiting for the match to start.}Terri Morasco: Gabriela's having fun with her fanbase south of the border.
Vasco Dias: I hope they serve better nachos here than the ones I got the other day during the Super Bowl.
Terri Morasco: Oh will you stop already...?!
{"I'm Shipping Up to Boston" by Dropkick Murphys kicks into high gear as Fiona McFly marches out on stage, takes a bow, and heads down to the ring--giving lucky fans quick pecks on the cheek along the way.}[DING!]
{The bell rings to start the match, and all three ladies take a moment or two to stare each other down while taking in the crowdâs energy. They then start a clandestine game of âpaper, rock, scissorsâ...with Vivienne Rodgers on the wrong end of the draw. Gabriela Luna and Fiona McFly, the veteran pair of this three-way, decide to have some fun and double up on Vivi at first, sending her reeling toward the ropes with heavily-synched forearm smashes to the temples before sending her into the ropes; Rodgers bounces off the strands and into a double dropkick, followed by a second. Eventually, Fiona grabs a hold of Vivi and plants with a pair of vertical suplexes for a count of two...only for Gabi to bust up the pinfall. She manages to plaster Vivi with a snap suplex of her own before connecting with an Asai moonsault for a two-count...but Fiona breaks up the pin this time. Now McFly and Luna are taking turns trading martial arts strikes as Rodgers pulls herself back to her feet.}Terri Morasco: uh-oh...Gabi and Fiona ain't seeing eye-to-eye here!
Vasco Dias: Doesn't these three-ways always devolve into chaos?!
{Thatâs when Vivi decides to interrupt Gabiâs playtime with Fiona...but opting to double-team the Northern Irishwoman into the corner with stereo kicks to the older womanâs ribs. Now itâs McFlyâs turn to be thrown around like a rag doll as sheâs taken for the ride; Fiona bounces off the ropes and into a double clothesline, followed by a double hip toss. Now Vivi is able to place her victim in a firemanâs carry before slamming her on the knee with a slick swinging backbreaker that gets her a two-count from our zebra...but Gabi breaks up the pin at the last second and proceeds to chuck Fiona over the top rope and onto the floor!}Vasco Dias: And now Gabriela and Vivienne want to play by themselves. This is gonna be fun!
{Rodgers yanks Luna by the hair and gives her a good SMACK as McFly rolls on the arena floor, trying to shake off the fuzzies as hard as she can. Meanwhile in the ring, Rodgers puts Luna into position and nails her with a sharp, swift belly-to-back suplex before following that up with a sharpshooter that Gabi breaks by reaching the bottom rope as quickly as she can. Vivienne then proceeds to hit her opponent with her signature âReflectionâ Screwdriver maneuver that scores a close two-count.}Terri Morasco: That was close!
Vasco Dias: Yeah, yeah...but close only counts when you're munchin' on them Mexican beans.
Terri Morasco: Hrmmm...you know, I wish you actually took comedy lessons from someone who knows the craft.
{Still on the outside looking in, Fiona watches Gabi counter Viviâs second screwdriver attempt with her âOnatoppâ hurracanrana driver that nearly gets her the three-count...only to wind up being hit right in the schozz at the last split-second as Fiona flies back into the ring and hits her with her late husbandâs former signature âMantisâ kick. Unfortunately for McFly, the move isnât as successful as she thought it would be, and winds up on the wrong end of Viviâs âTik-Tokâ pyramid driver--who follows it up with the three-count.}----------------------------------------------------------
LAST TEAM STANDING DOUBLE DOG COLLAR MATCH
Spike Kane & Astrid Hall vs Dean Harper & Maxine Valentine
----------------------------------------------------------
{The crowd grow silent as the lights go out, monks chanting can be heard, as the chanting gets louder the stage area starts to fill with smoke. Suddenly, and abruptly as the drums and guitars kick in a pyro explodes around the stage.}âBROTHERS! MY BROTHERS!
Is this all what we are?
SISTERS! MY SISTERS!
Weâve been crushed by the fists of GOD!!!â
{On the word God another pyro explodes either side of the rampway as Spike Kane appears through the smoke, to a growing roar from the crowdt. He stands with his arms outstretched, fists balled up soaking in the reaction from the crowd. After a few seconds he simply heads right to the ring, rolling under the bottom rope and standing right in the center of the ring, extending his arms once more, before the lights fade to normal and the music fades.}{The arena is filled with blue and green light as Immigrant Song begins to play, evoking colors of the sea or the forest. As the music intensifies, Lights shine down to reveal Astrid entering through the crowd, huge smile on her face as she descends towards the ring, carrying a viking-style shield as she approaches. She interacts with the crowd, laughing with them and allowing some of them to take selfies with her, giving high-fives and fist bumps all the way down. Her manager, Emma Danielson, walks behind her, smiling and interacting with the crowd as well, though not in as show-stealing a way. Before leaving the crowd, Astrid hands the shield to a young girl declaring âAnyone can be a hero - welcome to the Shield Wall, Sister!â. She leaps into the ring, pumped up and beaming after one last fist bump with Emma, jumping onto the ropes with a triumphant fist in the air taking in the crowdâs cheers before eventually settling into her corner, still brimming with energy.}Terri Morasco: I donât know what to say about tonights main event besides that itâs going to be absolutely brutal.
Vasco Dias: Spike Kane and Astrid Hall versus Dean Harper and Maxine Valentine in a last team standing dog collar match. Whoever thought this up is diabolical!
Terri Morasco: The heat between these two teams is absolutely tangible and Iâm expecting this to play out like bloody horror movie!
Vasco Dias: I absolutely agree. I donât foresee a lot of wrestling holds in this match, just blood and more blood!
{The lights go out as the melodic opening of The Howling by Within Temptation begins to play. After a few moments a single white spotlight shines down on the stage, showing Dean crouched on the stage, looking down at the ground with his hood concealing his face. Smoke rises around him eerily as he slowly rolls his wrists. Suddenly, in time with the opening guitar riff, the lights snap blood red as Dean stands, walking through the now red-lit smoke towards the ring. He jumps up onto the apron before springing on the bottom rope into the ring. Once in the center of the ring, he spreads his arms wide as he soaks in the red flashing lights before lifting his head sharply, kicking back the hood to show his face, nodding in rhythm to the music as he slowly breaks into a wicked grin. After a few moments he turns and settles into his corner, tossing his hood and jacket to ringside.}âAmazing Grace! How sweet the sound, That saved a wretch like me .I once was lost but now am found ,Was blind but now I seeâ
{The Last line of the first verse starts to tone down through minor key and into a dirge as âThe Wolfâ By Fever Ray starts to pay , and out stalks Maxine, Gas mask on her face, walking slowly to the ring and head bowed, even as the lights flicker red and green as she climbs the apron , eventually the mask is removed as she climbs in the ring and stalks her prey from side to side}Terri Morasco: All four competitors almost look happy as the referee is applying the dog collars!
Vasco Dias: Dean Harper and Maxine Valentine are no strangers to punishment.
Terri Morasco: Neither is Spike Kane and Astrid has been through her fair share of wars before too!
Vasco Dias: Youâre right and all four seem to be looking forward to this!
{The referee finishes attaching the dog collars to Astrid and Maxine, Spike is attached to Dean, the leather strap connecting the men with the men and the women with the women by their throats.}Terri Morasco: Christ, this is going to be bad.
{The referee seems to take a deep breath before calling for the bell and all four competitors charge into the middle of the ring and start throwing wild right hands at each other!}Terri Morasco: Theyâre not wasting any time!
Vasco Dias: Thereâs no time to waste in a match like this!
{Spike and Dean are exchanging shots, Astrid and Maxine are doing the same. No one is backing down. No one is giving in. Itâs just a full on punch contest right now.}Vasco Dias: You can already see the marks on their faces!
Terri Morasco: Who is going to fall first!
{Finally Maxine hits a wicked right that sends Astrid falling to the mat, at the same time Spike connects with a hard elbow that does the same to Dean. Astrid rolls to the outside of the ring and grabs the leather strap and rips down hard pulling Maxine face first into the mat! Dean wipes a smile from his face and gets right back up to his feet and leaps at Spike with a forearm! Astrid uses her ungodly strength and pulls Maxine hand over hand by the strap onto the apron.}Vasco Dias: Here we go! Business is picking up!
Terri Morasco: In a brutal way!
{Dean connects with another forearm on Spike then bounces off the ropes, roping in the leather strap as he goes and then uses it for an assisted sling blade on Kane! On the outside Astrid wraps the strap around the throat of Maxine and begins to choke her against the apron. Dean uses the strap around Spikeâs neck to pull him back to his feet and then throws Kane into the corner of the ring. Dean charges in but Spike grabs Dean for a massive Euronage out of the corner! Maxine starts to slip her thumbs under the strap and uses her raw strength to pull it away. Astrid looks stunned.}Terri Morasco: Maxine is over powering Astrid!?
Vasco Dias: That is unbelievable!
{Maxine frees herself and rolls off the apron as Astrid goes for a elbow and eats the apron. Maxine connects with a throat thrust and then grabs a fist full of the leather strap and whips Astrid hard across the back! Spike turns his back on the fallen Dean and starts to reel in the strap until it becomes taught and then pulls Dean up onto his own back, choking him!}Terri Morasco: Spike is hanging Dean on his own back!?
Vasco Dias: Spike is a freaking monster!!!
{Maxine whips Astrid again and again until Astrid fires off a desperation Superman punch! Maxine stumbles and Astrid hits a running big boot that drives Maxine backward into the steel ring post. Astrid is quick to grab the leather strap and wrap it around Maxineâs neck and around the post. Spike finally releases Dean who falls to his knees. Kane turns and wraps the strap around the neck of Dean and pulls him up to his feet. Spike grabs Dean for a t-bone suplex and launches Dean out of the ring but Harper manages to land on his feet and then drops down to his knees and pulls Spike against the ropes choking him now!}Terri Morasco: What in the hell!? Dean Harper just landed on his feet on the outside after a t-bone suplex!?
Vasco Dias: Harper is one of the most agile men on the whole roster!
{Harper continues to choke Spike over the top rope. Spike tries to use his weight to spill over the top rope and relieve the pressure but instead Dean rips down hard on the strap as Spike teeters and Kane takes a bad fall onto the apron and to the outside. Astrid finally releases Maxine and then looks to the apron where she throws up the ring skirt and her eyes light up. Astrid pulls out a kendo stick to a pop from the crowd. Maxine tries to get back to her feet as Astrid spins the kendo stick in her hand before cracking it over the back of Maxine Valentine! Astrid hits her again and again. Astrid drops the stick and uses the strap to pull Maxine up to her feet then rips Maxine in for a big time European upper cut!}Terri Morasco: We knew this was going to be a brawl but holy hell!
Vasco Dias: Youâre witnessing the embodiment of hatred!
{Astrid boots MAxine into the ring post again but Maxine seems to bounce off with a nasty headbutt! Astrid stumbles and Maxine uses the strap to whip Astrid into the post! Spike is struggling to stand as Dean connects with repeated knee strikes to Spikeâs midsection. Once Spike goes down Dean looks under the ring and pulls out a LADDER!}Vasco Dias: Here we go.
{Dean places the ladder on the ring apron and on the crowd barrier creating a bridge. Dean drags Spike to his feet and places him on top of the ladder before climbing up onto the apron and then to the top rope. Dean leaps off with a senton but Spike rolls off and Dean crashes and burns on top of the ladder! On the other side of the Maxine drags Astrid by the dog collar and whips her head over heels into the steel ring steps! Maxine throws the top of the steps off and pulls Astrid up to her feet. Maxine lifts Astrid up onto her shoulder then brings her down back first onto the steel steps with the KARAMBIT!!!}Terri Morasco: Astrid Hall could be out!
Vasco Dias: I sure as hell would be!
{The referee is counting as Spike climbs up onto the apron. Spike uses the strap to pull Dean up to his feet and drags him to the ring post. Spike sits on the top rope and tucks Dean between his legs before pulling him up into power bomb position. Spike stands on the second rope then carefully up onto the top rope while still balancing Dead and then leaps off with a SIT DOWN POWER BOMB AND BOTH MEN GO THROUGH THE LADDER!!!!}Terri Morasco: OH MY GOD!!!!
Vasco Dias: Fuck⊠I donât even care if Iâm not allowed to say it. Fuck.
Terri Morasco: That was insane!
{Both men are down in the remains of the ladder while Astrid climbs back to her feet. Maxine looks to Dean with concern as the referee starts his count anew. Astrid cracks the distracted Maxine over the back with the strap then uses it to pull Maxine into another rip cord European upper cut! Astrid charges and hits WINTERS GRIP sending both women through the crowd barrier!!!}Terri Morasco: Maxine took her eyes off her opponent for one second too long!
Vasco Dias: How could you not!?
{Astrid wraps the strap around the throat of Maxine and forces her back to her feet and starts to drag her through the crowd. Astrid is leading Maxine toward the ramp area as the referee continues to count Spike and Dean down. Astrid reaches the crowd barrier that separates the crowd from the stage but Maxine comes back to live with a huge boot the back of Astridâs head! Astrid falls onto the barrier and Maxine wraps the strap around Hallâs throat then lifts her up with the Donât Look Down, using the strap to choke Astrid at the same time. After several long seconds Maxine slams Astrid down gut first over the top of the barrier!!}Terri Morasco: What a sick Donât Look Down from Maxine!
Vasco Dias: Iâve got to say, that strap is coming into play far more often than I thought!
Terri Morasco: I donât think anyone could have predicted this!
{Spike and Dean both climb to their feet at the count of nine and start to exchange punches again. Spike quickly gets the upper hand and drives Dean backward down the side of the ring. Dean stumbles away after a very hard right hand and staggers onto the announce table. Spike charges Dean but Harper senses it and grabs Spike for a snap belly to belly suplex onto the announce table! Dean quickly pulls himself up with a fist full of strap and starts to whip Spike savagely! After the tenth or twelth strike he uses the strap to pull Spike up by the throat and then lifts Kane up for SHOW OF DEVOTION THROUGH THE TABLE!!!}Vasco Dias: SON OF A BISCUIT!!!!
Terri Morasco: Dean Harper is unkillable!!!
Vasco Dias: All four of them are!!!
{We got back to Maxine and Astrid, the former has drug Astrid by the throat through the curtain and into the backstage area. Maxine uses the strap to whip Astrid into walls, boxes and over tables. Astrid tries to get back to her feet as a second referee finds them. Maxine again uses the strap to whip Astrid who tries to get away but Valentine is on her. The two find themselves in the loading dock area where the broadcast truck is located. Maxine goes to throw Astrid into the side of the truck but Astrid reverses it, Maxine bounces off the truck and grabs Astrid for a huge side walk slam on the concrete. Maxine drags Astrid toward the truck.}Terri Morasco: This match has broken down in every way possible.
Vasco Dias: I have no idea how any of them are still fighting.
Terri Morasco: Youâve got me.
{Once again Dean and Spike are up at the count of nine. Dean comes at Spike but Kane hits the Bloody Sunday kick! Dean stumbles and Spike wraps the strap around Harperâs waist and uses it for extra leverage in a nasty release German suplex! Dean rolls over flat onto his stomach and remains motionless as Spike tries to regain his composure. Kane walks over to where Dean lays and begins to rip up the protective padding on the floor to expose the concrete beneath.}Terri Morasco: Oh no.
{Kane pulls Dean up onto the ring apron. Spike then picks Dean up into the Spike Impaler however Dean drives knee after knee into the skull of Spike until he drops Harper back to his feet. Dean quickly fires off a drop kick that sends Spike flying into the post on the apron!}Vasco Dias: This isnât good!!!
{Backstage we see Maxine Valentine with Astrid Hall on top of the production truck. Maxine picks Astrid up onto hier should then runs across the top of the box truck and slams her down and THROUGH THE ROOF OF THE TRUCK WITH THE KARAMBIT!!!! The screen goes black for a minute as we just hear the commentary team.}Terri Morasco: OH MY GOD!!!
Vasco Dias: WHAT JUST HAPPENED!?
Terri Morasco: Maxine put Hall through the truck!?
Vasco Dias: I donât believe my own eyes!!!
{The scene comes back to Dean inside the ring, Spike staggering on the apron. Dean charges Spike and sling shots over him for DESCENT INTO HELL ONTO THE EXPOSED CONCRETE FLOOR!!!}Terri Morasco: What a sickening thud!!!
Vasco Dias: Spike Kane and his partner have to be dead!!!
{The referee at ring side starts his count as Dean pulls himself up to his feet. Backstage Maxine Valentine staggers out of the production truck as the other referee runs in to check on Astrid.}Terri Morasco: We may have a simultaneous ten count!
Vasco Dias: That would be incredible!
{Spike, almost begrudgingly pulls himself up at nine, at the same time Astrid Hall steps out of the truck and tugs on the leather strap to get Maxineâs attention.}Vasco Dias: No freaking way.
Terri Morasco: Spike and Astrid are both up!?
Vasco Dias: This isnât possible!
{Dean seems almost excited that Spike is still going, Maxine on the other hand is unreadable. Maxine charges Astrid and misses a big boot, Astrid immediately responds with a SPEAR against the side of the truck! Dean grabs a steel chair from ring side and cracks it over the back of Spike Kane! Astrid continues her assault with Berserker's Fury against the side of the truck again and again. Dean unleashes his own fury with the steel chair again and again. Astrid finally pulls Max away from the truck by the strap and uses it to snapmare Maxine over her shoulder! Spike continues to try and get up and finally Dean just places the chair over the exposed concrete, opening it up. Dean gets another chair and opens it, placing the two back to back.}Terri Morasco: What is Dean planning here!?
Vasco Dias: Nothing good!
Terri Morasco: And what about Astrid!? Where is she taking MAxine!?
Vasco Dias: To hell!
{Astrid drags Maxine by the neck to a near by limo. Harper pulls Spike to his feet by the throat. Astrid drags Maxine up onto the hood of the limo. Dean sets Spike up for a vertical suplex but Kane reverses it out of nowhere and hits a SPIKE IMPALER!!! That drops Dean spine first across the two backs of the chairs!!! At the same time Astrid lifts Maxine up over her head and HIT MJOLNIR THROUGH THE WINDSHIELD OF THE LIMO!!!}Terri Morasco:.....
Vasco Dias:.....
{Dean Harper is struggling to get back up as Spike seems exhausted but ready to keep going. Astrid rolls off the hood of the limo as Maxine is completely motionless. The second referee is counting. Dean falls to the floor again as Spike tells him to bring it. Back at the limo the referee has reached six⊠Seven⊠Eight⊠Dean tries again to stand as the refereeâs are in lock step⊠In split screen we see Dean fall again as Maxine hasnât moved at the limo and both referees hit nine⊠TEN!!!}Terri Morasco: Astrid and Spike have done it!
Vasco Dias: What a brutal encounter!!
{The referee calls for the bell Backstage Astrid staggers and stumbles to a knee before rising up again and walking away from the scene under her own power.}Terri Morasco: What a way to end Sacrifice.
Vasco Dias: That was one of the craziest matches I have ever seen.
Terri Morasco: And itâll only get better the closer we get to Night of Immortals!
{We close on Astrid Hallâs back as she walks away and Spike looking completely spent as he sits on the floor.}
