Won't you come into my room, I wanna show you all my wares.
I just want to see your blood, I just want to stand and stare.
See the blood begin to flow as it falls upon the floor.
Max has been settling into some training, fists impacting on a heavy set bag as she worked up a fair sized sweat, breath heaving as each movement increased the speed and strength of her strikes.
She turned at the sound of a door closing to find Dean standing at here, with a natural expression on his face arms crossed even as Max sighed, relaxing the eyes were different, she'd grown accustomed to seeing the changes every time Leviathan came to the surface turning back to the bag.
"Come to watch a mortal at work Leviathan? Or just taking in the scenery?"
The demon that controlled her lover's body like some sort of strange meat puppet moved closer to examine her with a guarded tone.
"Training, You've been busy Maxine, between yourself and dean you almost run the pack now, you are strong but yet you are not one of the host, you play, but you play very well."
Max shook her head and clicked her tongue against her teeth to look towards Leviathan even as she spoke gently.
"What's your point Leviathan? I'm a big girl, There are men who are scared to face me never mind women what are you trying to prove?"
Leviathan snorted.
"Yet you lose to the Spencer girl, nobody is afraid Maxine, Spike Kane and Astrid Hall have seen to that."
Max walked up to Leviathan and looked at him again with a slight hiss.
"You might wear a pretty face but if you don't think I'll plant you for such talk Demon : think again."
Leviathan out stretched his arms and said confidently glaring right back in that monotone voice.
"Hit me."
Max Hesitated just a moment even as the fist balled up and Leviathan took a step closer.
"I am a Fallen of the Heavenly Host... I don't think I'll be so easy to...Uuurrk."
Max had swung in with a picture perfect body blow to just under the Solar plexus as Leviathan was talking, the look on his face as much as the interrupted speech and anything else gave it all away.
"That sounded like it hurt."
Max couldn't resist the little smile as Leviathan dropped to his knees and coughed as he finally gained the ability to breath back and muttered.
"How?"
Max slowly leant down to grab Leviathan's hair and pulled his head back even as she stared down at him and she whispered gently, carefully and almost lovingly breathing on him with a slight grin.
"Because I have faith Leviathan, faith in myself, faith in Rowan, and the faith that if I put my mind to it? I would Piledriver The Morningstar. I am your Soldier, your plague and your food source."
She kisses his forehead and smiles.
"You'll live, Leviathan, but consider that a lesson; Nothing is invincible, not even the universe.”
She patted his cheek.
“Love you babe.”
Leviathan couldn’t help but smile to himself as Max left him catching his breath and mutters.
“Humans..”
We fade in on Max lit from underneath, smiling a bit and glaring down into camera.
“The Iron Maiden is on us once more, and we start to vye for the chance to become the next to move forwards, it’s become very clear that not many have the stomach for what is coming, and that Only some of us will forge on to show the future once more.”
A pause and she smirks.
“We suffer the indignity of being written off as nothing more than a passing craze, as nothing more than followers when we are leaders, and the first lamb you choose to send to the slaughter is Crystal?”
A sigh and a shake of her head.
“It could be worse it could be McFly, preaching her sermon about how great she is , but instead we have the queen of the Silver Screen, again, I could barely hide my contempt for you the last we met but like a proverbial cockroach you come crawling out asking to be crushed again.”
A snort of derision even as she starts to walk and take a seat the camera slowly titling up to meet her gaze.
“You’ll stroll out with your cliché lines, if you even stroll out at all, but it won’t be enough Crystal it will never be enough it has never been enough and so every time we meet I will punish you until you get the concept of personal improvement, or you break, whichever comes first.”
She smirks.
“You are my herald Crystal, you demand that people scream and so youwill scream for me…and scream….and scream and scream.”
She grins.
“And you will scream. And when I’m satisfied, and only when I am satisfied will I put you to rest.”
Max stroked her chin and muses.
“But be warned Crystal that right now and very recently I have been feeling particularly unsatisfied.”
She tilts her head.
“In the unlikely event you defeat me I will still punish you, I must not let you carry your sickness into the Iron Maiden, I cannot. There can only be one Iron Maiden, and I have deigned that it will be ME.”
Max turns her back on the camera and starts to walk away.
“Sleep well Crystal, may you wake to a whole new nightmare soon.”
Fade out.
