She couldn't stop smiling if she tried, Astrid's hand however was still gripped around hers like a vice as her eyes laid on The Viking's the two of them pushing through the door Pan's Blue tresses almost whipped around as she moved Astrid to sit down.
If you thought Pandora was bright before, it was lke the Red Sun was now fully rissen those blue eyes almost sparkling with delight and happiness as she could barely contain herself, she'd been like this all the way home but yet her voice remained soft comapssionate and caring.
"Do you wanna Drink?Food? Blankets? Should I get Spike? I should get Spike He needs to know."
To say Pan's excitement was palpable was likely an understatment.

Astrid hadn't said a word since Cavanaugh had given her the news. Pandora had leapt in and been her voice all through the rest of the meeting, Astrid herself only being able to occasionally nod or shake her head. As one hand clutched Pandora's hand with unyielding intensity, another rested on her abdomen. It felt impossible. Even as Dr. Cavanaugh went through all of the paperwork, detailing her options, talking about what she could expect in the coming weeks, the coming months. Everything seemed numb, as though the world was ever so slightly askew and she was watching her life like an outside observer.
Only when she was back home did reality snap back into place, and it gave her a sense of vertigo that left her grateful that Pan was already sitting her down.
"Water," she replied softly, looking up at Pandora with eyes that were grateful, but still processing. "And... Spike. Yes. He should... yes."

Everything still felt like a blur. Pans presence never faltered not even once, those blue eyes locking onto Astrids even as her lyrical voice drifted out.
"Okay water, Are you ok?"
Even now she was the same Pansoras other hand cupping the other woman's face.
"SPIKE WE COULD USE SOME WATER!"
Pan maybe realising of all things space was something Astrid didn't need or want even as she winked.
"Talk to me Astrid Hall."

Astrid gazed back at Pandora, eyes wide and still seeming not entirely there. She looked around at the room, taking everything in before looking back to Pandora.
“Pan... Pan, we’re... it’s going to be us. You know that, yes? It will be you and I before long, because he...” she swallowed the thought down a dry throat. “Are you... will you? I can’t... not alone. Not this. You will, won’t you? Please?”

Pan looked back form the door as Astrid's words resounded inside of her and the smile faded just a bit as those blue eyes rested on and she spoke firmly.
"I'm not going anywhere I promise."
She squeezed Astird's hand even as she knelt and smiles at Astrid just a bit.
"I swear I'm going to treat this child like it was my own flesh and blood."
She nods.
"I love you, Astrid Freeman-Kane-Hall. And I'm with you, every step."

Astrid nodded gently. "Okay. Okay. That's..."
She didn't know how to finish. It wasn't all she needed to hear, because there was so much that was swirling through her mind that didn't - and couldn't - have answers. It wasn't just "good" either - it was beyond that, reassuring in ways she couldn't express. Instead she just closed her eyes again and nodded.
"Thank you. Thank you so much. I... couldn't do it without you."
She looked up the stairwell. "I just hope that he'll be okay, given that he might not..." she closed her eyes and stopped. She didn't want to say it out loud - but she knew that the chances of Spike ever meeting it... no... ever meeting their child... were slim. Painfully, heartwrenchingly slim.
She squeezed Pandora's hand again. At least she'd never be alone. That was all she needed to get through this.

Spike had been upstairs at the time, busy organising tapes and routines for his students. The joys of certain networks - like the IWF network - made things like this easy, because he could pick specific matches. He'd gotten caught up watching the Dragon's Den match between himself and Angel Blake at nCw's last ever show when he heard the commotion from downstairs.
Water!? Got it.
He quickly began to scramble, knocking over a bunch of tapes, dvds, and magazines. He ran to the fridge and pulled out a bottle of mineral water before heading towards the stairs. As he got there, he realised that the commotion had died down, whatever had seemed so frantically important to Pandora must not have been that bad. He jogged down the stairs and over to the two women, a smile spreading across his face.
Spike: Hey ladies, what's up? I brought the water.
He extended his hand that held the bottle, only to slowly start taking in the two very different looks on Pandora and Astrid's faces. One looked over the moon, the other....well, she looked kind of shell shocked.
Spike: What's wrong? Did something happen? Was it Dean!? I'll kill him!
He paused, as Pandora placed a hand on his arm, putting out that "Blood God" fire almost immediately.

Pan kept her hand on his arm and she said gently, softly still smiling. "Spike, Astrid's return to the ring might be a little longer than anticipated, but this isn't really my news to break."
Pan chewed her lower lip, eyes casting down as she then looked over to Astrid and she moved back to her with a soft.
" Tell him."

Astrid looked up at Spike as he came down the stairs, a flicker of worry crossing her heart. What would he say? How would he react? Would he be angry? Sad? Afraid? There was no time to worry about it now. It was time.
Astrid shook her head. "No, Spike. It wasn't Dean. It was... well, it was me. And you."
She took him by the hand and guided him down to sit next to her. From there she gave no words, no verbal explanation. She simply stared at him in the eye, unblinking and unhesitating, as she guided his hand over her belly, and held it there, cupped in her own. She held the position for a few long moments before giving a single, firm nod.
