---------------------------------------- OPENING SEGMENTPre-show like roundtable discussion part 1
---------------------------------------- {The camera pans around the Sam Boyd Arena, fans are filing in as we pull up on Vasco Dias, sitting in a seat not behind his normal commentary booth, he smiles looking up into the camera.} Vasco Dias: “Ladies and Gentlemen! Welcome to The Night of Immortals Pre-Show! Remember to subscribe to the IWF Network, only 9.99 a month, new subscribers get their first month free, including tonight's event, Night of the Immortals! Joining me at our pre show, IWF personality, Tyler Jacobs!” {The camera pans out a bit, showing Tyler Jacobs wearing a fancy suit, giving a smile he looks in the camera.} Tyler Jacobs: “Thank you Vasco, it’s great to be here, it’s been one long year, we’ve had a lot of things happen since the last Night of the Immortals, and I’m excited to see what is gonna unfold here tonight.” Vasco Dias: “Pleasure to have you Tyler, and joining us, the always lovely Rachel Grimes!” {The camera pans out a little further, showing Rachel Grimes, wearing a red dress, fully done up for tonight’s festivities.} Rachel Grimes: “Watching the fans fill in, I’m already getting goosebumps. Tonight is going to be one of the greatest ever!” Vasco Dias: “And rounding off our round table, a man pulling double duty tonight. Xavier Cross!” {What fans that are in the stadium begin to cheer, as we pan over to Xavier Cross sitting next to Tyler Jacobs on the outside table, wearing a suit himself, he leans forward smiling ear to ear.} Xavier Cross: “This is a new territory for me, I gotta say I’m a little nervous.” Tyler Jacobs: “Don’t be, just smile and nod, we will carry this!” Rachel Grimes: “When it comes to talking about wrestling, it’s hard to find three people better than Tyler, Vasco, and myself.” Vasco Dias: “Flattering words, but let’s dig in shall we? As the fans fill in, let’s get a word from our lovely sponsors of tonight’s events. In theatres now…’Solo: A Star Wars Film’ Rachel Grimes: “An excellent movie by all accounts! I saw it earlier this afternoon, loved it!” Tyler Jacobs: “Xavier, where did you get your suit for tonight?” Xavier Cross: “Excellent question Tyler, Men’s Warehouse. Where you’ll love the way you look, I guarantee it.” Rachel Grimes: “and of course, remember to have your pets spayed and neutered.” Vasco Dias: “Now that the bills are paid, let’s set our focus forward. What are you all looking forward the most tonight? Rachel?” Rachel Grimes: “for me, it’s the Strong Styler Championship match. Weeks ago, we all knew that Mike Laszlo and Bob Pooler would be one of the most talented, but also the most dysfunctional tag teams in tournament. And Mike Laszlo proves that he is only out for himself…” Tyler Jacobs: “Could you really team up with Bob Pooler? I mean the guy has one of the biggest egos…” Vasco Dias: “We all know Laszlo is riding high after that game seven win by his hometown Cleveland Cavaliers, does that factor at all in this match?” Xavier Cross: “As talented as both men are, I don’t think a basketball game is going to factor into whether Laszlo or Bob can win, it’s going to boil down to Dean Harper.” Tyler Jacobs: “That’s true, the special guest referee, and everyone’s second favorite cult leader, Dean Harper puts on the Zebra stripes.” Xavier Cross: “I think as chaotic as Dean is, as sadistic as he is, he will call is fair, fair may be getting involved in the match himself. But he’s the kinda guy who’d split the difference down the middle. I don’t have the best relationship with Mike Laszlo, but he is one of the most talented guys in the business, and has held down companies by himself. So I’m looking forward to see what kinda fight he brings to Bob-O.” Vasco Dias: “What about you Tyler? What are you looking forward to tonight?” Tyler Jacobs: “The card is so stacked, but it has to be the main event! Spike Kane and Angel Blake fighting each other on the grandest stage. The two god’s of this industry clashing. Have you ever seen a Spike Kane and Angel Blake match that didn’t leave you on the edge of your feet? With the highest stakes involved tonight...oh man, the skin on my arm is rising up.” Xavier Cross: “I’ve squared off against both men, and I tell you, both ‘em bring out something in you that is scary in retrospective. I’m curious to see what is gonna happen earlier in the night with The Age of Gods taking on the Bourbon Street Saints.” Rachel Grimes: “The two God’s have showed impeccable chemistry together, surging through the tournament to the finals tonight. But that is a lot of ego on one of side of the ring, it’s like pouring gasoline on a fire, it’s only gonna blow up.” Vasco Dias: “You’re absolutely right, the main event is going to be fireworks of Immortal proportions. Let us welcome our first guest, competing tonight on the preshow in a few moments, Fiona McFly!” Rachel Grimes: “Fiona! How are you this evening?” {The screen splits in half, as Fiona McFly joins on backstage, her trademark smile across her face as she waves into the camera.} Fiona McFly: “Thanks for having me!” Tyler Jacobs: “So how are you feeling Fiona? Nervous? Excited?” Fiona McFly: “Oh, there's a lot of excitement going on around here in the Las Vegas area. You've got Night of the Immortals, you've got the hockey Stanley Cup Final with the Golden Knights...it's the biggest time of the year, who can't be excited?” Tyler Jacobs: “You’re absolutely right Fiona! When I was driving to the arena today, the fans were outside already going nuts! The city is buzzing!” Xavier Cross: “Fiona, Xavier Cross here. You’ve faced a lot of adversity over the last few weeks, as someone who knows the pain of losing a loved one, and trying to compete I understand the uphill battle you’ve had. How’s your mindstate going into tonight? How are you?” Fiona McFly: “It hasn't been easy, it really hasn't. Three years ago Jack and I were both in title matches, the following year he retired to watch me co-headline against Eternity...and I'll admit last year wasn't…” {She paused, calmly shaking her head as she sipped on a bottle of Pepsi Zero Sugar.} Fiona McFly: “It was the worst time of me life, on both levels--personal and professional. You think you're all happy and the next moment, it's all taken from you and you can't do anything about it.” Xavier Cross: “You’re absolutely right, But you’ve kept fighting, and the fans absolutely love you for it. What are your expectations for tonight? You’re taking on newcomer Alexis Gold.” Fiona McFly: “I have...even in the midst of contemplating retirement and all that mess. Yet as for expectations? I think the actual word that's missing here is 'commitment'--not just applying to this sport but anything outside the ring. When you set expectations for yourself, you're more tempted to break them; as long as you stay true to yourself and not pretend to be someone else, nothing will ever hurt you.” {She took another sip from drink.} Fiona McFly: “Alexis Gold? She looks to be promising and all that; it will be her first big chance, on this platform's biggest stage, to show me what she's got out there. Like I said to a certain personality the other day, not EVERYONE can grace a docket like this--pre show or main card--so the best thing I can do is show the planet that I'm still here, that I'm still committed to this gig no matter the results or what the trolls think.” Rachel Grimes: “Fiona you do catch some negative flack on social media, but I think that glosses over some of the nice things. In fact we had a fan send us a tweet, with the hashtag #NotIPreShow "Fiona, I lost my husband a few months ago, we were big wrestling fans. Thank you for showing me its possible to move forward. #Love" Anything you'd like to say Diana from Alabama? Fiona McFly: “Diana...I really appreciate the kind words. Moving forward from losing a loved one--any loved one--is hard enough. All you can do is stay committed to that process--cleaning things out and donating them, enjoying the life around you--and you'll be perfectly fine.” Tyler Jacobs: “Excellent advice Fiona, you’re match is gonna be coming up soon, anything you like to leave us and the fans with?” Fiona McFly: “I've always believed that certain tenets I've learned whilst wrestling should be applied to living outside the bounds of the ring as well. If there's anything I wanted to teach to anyone, especially our children, it's to always stay committed and true to whatever you're doing--your studies, etc.--and, above all else, don't ever give up hope.” Rachel Grimes: “Always a pleasure Fiona.” {The screen opens back up, showing our four hosts for tonight’s pre show events.} Vasco Dias: “Fiona McFly has become such a polarizing figure on social media…” Xavier Cross: “Keyboard warriors Vasco, it’s easy to throw insults at people, especially people like us on a grand stage knowing there is no retribution. Women catch some of the worst flack online too.” Rachel Grimes: “Cross is right, but it’s all about how you handle it.” Tyler Jacobs: “Fiona won’t back down from her internet trolls, and she won’t back down in the ring, win, lose or draw.” Vasco Dias: “Before I have to take off to call the match, I’m sure Terri is missing me down there. Xavier, as a wrestler, does it feel like a slight or disrespect to be on the pre-show match?” {Xavier scratches his chin a bit, before tilting his head.} Xavier Cross: “I wouldn’t say it’s disrespect, I mean, it’s a loaded roster, this is a loaded card. A lot of key players got left off the card, so just being featured in general is an achievement. One thing I love about the Locker Room, is that is doesn’t matter what match you’re in on the card, or if there is a title on the line, stipulation or just a standard one on one match up, each and everyone of us goes into a match wanting to steal the show. It isn’t about phoning it in because I’m on the preshow, or having a hour and a half main event match. When that bell rings, it doesn’t matter if you’re first, middle, or last, you want to perform like you’re in the main event.” Tyler Jacobs: “It’s not wrong to assume that someone may have a chip on their shoulder by being placed on the pre-show and not the main card?” Xavier Cross: “I think having chips on your shoulders are good things, like having a monkey on your back. But it’s when you let those chips and monkeys control you, and you don’t make any progress forward because you’re too busy whining about something, that’s when it becomes a true negative. I should know, I spent months of my career whining and what did that get me? You got to take every chance you’re given and try to knock it out of the park.” Rachel Grimes: “Which is why you’re here?” Xavier Cross: “Honestly, I’m thirty-four, I almost had my career ended, if I limited myself to only between those ropes, I’d be robbing myself of some great chances, and some fun interactions. Being on this panel, it’s absolutely going onto my favorite wrestling memories.” Ciara O’Connor: “That’s if your brain doesn’t shut down from head trauma…” {Wearing a ripped pair of jeans, and a ‘Best Friend’s Club’ t-shirt as she walks up onto the stage, giving Xavier the dirtiest of looks.} Rachel Grimes: “Miss O’Connor, how lovely for you to join-” Ciara O’Connor: “Shut the hell up…” {Ciara grabs Rachel’s chair, moving her back, as she picks up the microphone Rachel was using, as she turns around to the fans who reign boos at her, still filing into the arena.} Ciara O’Connor: “Sorry not sorry to interrupt your little…” {She makes a jerk off motion} Tyler Jacobs: “By all means Ciara, speak away.” Ciara O’Connor: “You want to talk about chips, and monkeys. But the best damn thing in this place isn’t on the Night of Immortals Card, this isn’t just a travesty, this is a national tragedy. I mean, I know lil miss Princess Diana hitting the wall was sad, but this...this is just devastating for the Best Fans Club out there.” Xavier Cross: “Did you just compare your being left off the card to the death of Princess Diana?” Ciara O’Connor: “Simply put, she should feel honor that she would even be spoken in the same sentence as me. This isn’t going to sit well, and I feel so...so...sorry for whoever I get my hands on…” {Ciara slams the microphone back on the table, as she makes a rude gesture at Xavier Cross, before walking off.} Rachel Grimes: “Lovely as always…” Vasco Dias: “This is a better time than ever! Let me head down to the announce desk. I’ll see you three after the match!” {Vasco gets up from his seat, as we circle away from the stage where the panel is, to the ring.}
----------------------------------------
PRESHOW SINGLES MATCH Fiona McFly vs. Alexis Gold
---------------------------------------- Alison Valance: The following match is scheduled for one fall!
Vasco Dias: Oh how the mighty have fallen.
Terri Morasco: Don’t say that Vasco. It’s the biggest show of the year and any chance anyone has to be on this show should be grateful.
Vasco Dias: Fiona McFly was the Iron Maidan 2016.
Terri Morasco: And Fiona is humble enough to be honored to be here.
“Tonight.. I just want to take you higher.. Throw your hands up in the sky.. Let's set this party off right..”
{The techno-screech preluding the inevitable beat drop soars across the audience, the lights dim to a gold color as Alexis makes her way onto the stage, a quick spin and a pose -- her right elbow calculated at an acute angle, hand raking through her hair and left knee prompt out balancing on the left nose of her boot and right ball of her heel -- signals a slo-mo effect and the rain of gold pyro from the rafters.}
Alison Valance: First down to the ring…. standing at 5’4’’ from Los Angeles, California…. ALEXIS GOLD
{Alexis sashays down the ramp, twirling a single strand of hair around her index finger, cutting cold glares at those at ringside as she passes. She approaches the ring apron, hopping onto it with her left cheek bending her left knee atop of the surface while stretching her right leg across it; her left hand wound around the top rope as she poses for a moment then pulls herself onto her feet. From there, entering the ring through the middle and bottom ropes; concluding to her corner with pre-match stretches. }
Vasco Dias: I am so glad Alexis could be here this evening. I would have missed her entrance.
Terri Morasco: Of course, you would have.
Vasco Dias: Fiona is going to enter next. Better go start the popcorn, it’ll be done before she gets to the ring.
Terri Morasco: Stop it.
{ A video package begins playing to a rock-remix version of Rachel Platten's "Fight Song," showing a montage of Fiona McFly at various stages of her life... }
"Like a small boat On the ocean Sending big waves Into motion Like how a single word Can make a heart open I might only have one match But I can make an explosion"
{ ...including home movie footage of the famous 1994 go-kart race in the Texas Hill Country. We see photos of Fiona from her high school and college graduation ceremonies... }
"And all those things I didn't say Wrecking balls inside my brain I will scream them loud tonight Can you hear my voice this time?"
{ ...until we finally see an image of her standing next to the late Jack Gaither on their wedding day. The black-and-white photo fades down as... }
"This is my fight song Take back my life song Prove I'm alright song My power's turned on Starting right now I'll be strong I'll play my fight song And I don't really care if nobody else believes 'Cause I've still got a lot of fight left in me..."
{ ...a blast of pyro goes off as the song kicks into high gear. We see Fiona hopping onto the stage with a rugged smile on her face, looking around at the cheering crowd as she twirls a replica of her trusty bullwhip around and around. She strolls down the rampway, hugging and high-fiving folks along the way before handing the replica whip to a child as a souvenir. }
Alison Valance: And last down to the ring… Standing at 5’8’’, from Arlington, Texas… FIONA MCFLY!
Vasco Dias: That was a long.
Terri Morasco: Not like some other members of this company don’t have long entrances. Stop picking on her.
Vasco Dias: I’m just being honest.
{Both women stand in the ring. Fiona waving to fans and Alexis stretching.}
Vasco Dias: Any bets on how this match will end?
Terri Morasco: No. Either women could pull this off tonight.
{As soon as the bell rings, Fiona darts across the ring and grapples with Alexis. Alexis tries to fight her off but Fiona holds tight.}
Terri Morasco: Things are not looking good for Gold here.
Vasco Dias: She might be able to pull something out.
{with some effort Fiona gets Alexis to the top rope despite the other fighting, slamming Alexis down.}
Vasco Dias: Ow! That had to hurt!
{As Alexis is getting up Fiona sneaks behind her and hits her with a KIMBLELOCK. Alexis cries out in pain and taps out.}
Alison Valance: And you’re winner….FIONA MCFLY!
{Fiona drops Alexis and holds her arm up in the air. As “Fight Song” plays overhead.}

OPENING SEGMENT Pre-show like roundtable discussion part 2
---------------------------------------- Tyler Jacobs: “Welcome back to the Night of the Immortals pre-show panel. I am Tyler Jacobs, joined by Rachel Grimes, and Xavier Cross, Vasco should be joining us shortly.” Rachel Grimes: “That poor guy, having to run back and forth.” Xavier Cross: “He’s powered by bourbon and anger, he’ll be just fine.” Tyler Jacobs: “What a match we just saw by Fiona McFly, dispatching rookie Alexis Gold.” Rachel Grimes: “And during that match, we have received word that the Sam Boyd Stadium is sold out! 40,000 people are gonna pack into this place tonight to watch Night of the Immortals!” Tyler Jacobs: “An impressive feat, but it’s not surprising, when Imperial Wrestling is the number one rated, syndicated show on the market.” Xavier Cross: “I got to say, working outdoors provides a list of problems, but my weather app on my phone says that it should be a great night.” Tyler Jacobs: “That warm Vegas air, should make for an interesting environment.” Rachel Grimes: “Xavier, what difference can wrestling outdoors versus wrestling inside?” Xavier Cross: “Biggest thing to me is the fan noise, some arenas the sound shoots right up into the rafters, and comes down, so you really don’t get the fan noise right in the moment. Then of course, most arenas, you’ll feel like they’re all around you. The open stadiums are interesting, because the highs and lows can be felt.” Rachel Grimes: “It’ll make for a memorial night.” {Sitting down quickly, Vasco has returned to the panel.} Vasco Dias: “Phew, what a night already. These fans are wild, they're still filing in the jam packed stadium” Rachel Grimes: “I'm sure Terri misses you already.” Xavier Cross: “So Vasco, what match has you excited tonight?” Vasco Dias: “Brooklyn Maddrox defending her title against Dawn Halliwell. Maddrox is stacking her claim as the top women's competitor in the company and a win tonight may solidify it.” Tyler Jacobs: “More so this is The Pack versus the Age of Gods. Which if the match stakes were high, this is going to push it over the limits.” Xavier Cross: “The immense pressure of representing a faction l, while also competing for a title. This match has all the makings of becoming an instant classic.” Rachel Grimes: “and what are you looking forward to Cross?” Xavier Cross: “Of course I'm excited about Joker in the Pack, and taking on Red Cap. But I'm gonna be bias as my favorite lady defends her title against Helena Sawyer.” Vasco Dias: “After the formation of the Best Friends Club, and generally a hard few weeks for Vivienne, what's her mindstate going in tonight.” Xavier Cross: “Viv is laser focused. We had breakfast this morning, and she has been quiet. It's kind of scary quiet. This is the biggest match of both of their careers, and I know my baby girl is going to pull it off.” Tyler Jacobs: “Don’t underestimate Helena, she earned her spot in this match, and I expect her to give a thousand percent tonight. Vivienne Rodgers title reign is in jeopardy tonight.” Tyler Jacobs: Okay the next thing we need to talk about is-what the!? {Just then Steve Awesome rushes the stage flanked by his entourage; Malo and Rob Diamond. They all walk in front of the camera interrupting the set.} El Grande Malo: Were taking over. Rob Diamond: Don’t make it any worse then it has to be! Vasco Dias: Hey they aren’t supposed to be here. Rob Diamond: We’re gonna wreck your shit! El Grande Malo: Senior Rob! They have no papers to shuffle or anything to put into disarray! Tyler Jacobs: We do everything by on iPads and touchscreens now. Rob Diamond: Damn technology! Okay ummm, close the apps they have open and mess up their hair! {Malo does as he’s instructed.} Vasco Dias: Oh no!!! Tyler Jacobs: Oh…man. This is a minor inconvenience really... {Steve walks in front of the desk staring off set.} Steve Awesome: Where the hell is Cable? Where’s Arcane!? {Xavier tries to save face in front of the camera. He tries to whisper, cupping his mouth with one hand so the camera can’t see it.} Xavier Cross: Steve you aren’t in this segment. Steve Awesome: I don’t give a rats ass. This is bullshit, X. I’ve been dicked around by that dumb son of a bitch for the last time! {Steve paces back and forth in front of the desk as the hosts awkwardly stand by.} Steve Awesome: He’s really going to leave the biggest star he has off the biggest show of the year? Seriously!? Where the fuck is Cable? Rachel Grimes: Woah, can we like cut or something? Tyler Jacobs: That’s what this is all about? You stormed our set over the fact that you weren’t booked for tonight!? Oh come on! Xavier Cross: Okay but can’t we handle this some other time? You know, during your own tv segment? Steve Awesome:Nope. I got something to get off my chest! This bullshit has gone on far enough! I don’t care if Cable stacks the deck against me, that’s fine, that’s something that murderous bastard has to work on himself, but he left me off the card intentionally because he hates me. That means he took a payday away from me INTENTIONALLY, that means….he took away money for my family INTENTIONALLY! Food out of my child’s mouth! INTENTIONALLY!!! Rob Diamond: Can’t be letting babies go hungry man. El Grande Malo: That is setting the bad example for the children. {Rob and Malo shake their head and “tsk” the situation.} Steve Awesome: So I’m taking over until Cable gets off his fat ass and addresses this situation. Bring me Cable! Cable Arcane: Damn it, Steve! {You can hear Cable’s voice from offset and shortly he appears in front of the camera.} Cable Arcane: I got an entire pay per view to run and you are already pulling your stunts before the main show kicks off! Can’t we settle this in my damn office? {Steve closes the distance and goes right up to Cable’s office.} Steve Awesome: Oh now you want to settle it in your office once I held up your show. Well it’s too damn late. We’re both standing here, so let’s settle it right here! You want to explain to me, why I don’t have a match on A Night of the Immortals? You want to tell me why some people are booked multiple times…” {Xavier tries to look innocent as he glances around the room as if he wasn’t paying attention.} Steve Awesome: ...But I can't even get a match on the damn pre-show? Seriously? Are you really that stupid and down right petty to allow your personal bias of me, keep the greatest entertainer you have off the biggest most entertaining show of the year? {Cable rolls his eyes and sighs a deep breath.}Cable Arcane: You insufferable asshole! If we gotta talk about it now, creative didn’t have anything for you. Better luck next year. Steve Awesome: Heh ho really? Better luck next year? Better luck next year! You know what Cable? {Steve looks at him and sneers. Disrespect oozing from his face.} Steve Awesome: You are pathetic! Cable Arcane: Oh I’m pathetic? Steve Awesome: Yeah you really are. I’m the face of the Franchise. I’m the best in the world! {Cable grinds his teeth as Steve says that.} Steve Awesome: That’s right. I beat you Cable. {Cable just shakes his head. To angry to formulate a sentence at the moment.} Rob Diamond: I remember when that happened! El Grande Malo: Malo was there when it happened! Steve Awesome: And it eats away at you everyday. And it’s turned you into a sad pathetic little man who sits behind his little desk and gets his revenge by screwing me over. You took money out of my pocket and food from my family, my little girl. All because I beat you in a match a couple months ago. All because I… {Steve pokes Cable in the chest.} Steve Awesome: Hurt your precious reputation. {Cable slaps Steve’s hand away.} Cable Arcane: Don’t touch me, Steve. Steve Awesome: What are you going to do? Murder me? {The room goes silent.} Xavier Cross: Low blow. Rob Diamond: Ohhhhhhhhh Damn! {Rob laughs in the background as the rest of the panel sit awkwardly at the desk. Cable is seething in anger as Steve smirks in his face.} Steve Awesome: Besides, you said creative had nothing for me...but I couldn’t help but notice you didn’t have anything going on either… {Steve shakes his head.} Steve Awesome: You were only best in the world until I came along. Now you are just scared and pathetic. Cable Arcane: I hate you. I really do. And I enjoyed every minute of leaving you off the card, but my hatred had nothing to do with it. You really want to know why you didn’t get booked? Since you made this big mess and got in front of all these people live in front of the whole world, you really want to know? {Steve arrogantly nods his head, that flippant grin on his face the whole time. Cable steps forward and gets in Steve’s face. Cable glares daggers and Steve confidently grins in his face.} Cable Arcane: Because you don’t deserve it. {Steve’s grin gives way to a scowl.} Steve Awesome: What do you mean I don’t- Cable Arcane: NO! Shut up! It’s my turn. We as management decided that you didn’t deserve it. Not only because you are a pompous, hypocritical, asshole, who has been nothing but obnoxious since he came back. Faking injuries, creating those smear campaigns on Verona and I, trying to bring back people who have been banned, I’m not even going to mention the damn twitter incident...but also because you honestly been kind of a let down since you’ve been back. You couldn’t win the tag team cup, you couldn’t win the Extreme title, you’ve just floated through the motions and have been as lazy as possible. Really the only impressive thing you did was beat me and you had to have Malo help you do it! {Steve clenches his fists in anger as Cable tells him off.} Cable Arcane: To be quite honest, some of us are questioning if your contract here is even worth it. How does Face of the Indies sound? Ooh, how about this one? Best in the Tri-State Area? Rob Diamond: Ooooohhhhhh Damn!!! Oh wait, sorry. {Rob quietly snickers to himself. Steve glares at Cable.} Steve Awesome: Are you threatening to fire me? Cable Arcane: Oh no...well not until I get my rematch first. Then afterward... yeah probably. Steve Awesome: You know what? Screw this! I don’t need this crap from you Cable. How about I just do you a favor and quit right now. Then we will see how much you will miss me. {Steve turns and starts to storm off set as Rob and Malo start to follow. Cable crosses his arms.} Cable Arcane: Well we won’t miss you for A Night of the Immortals, that’s for sure. You asshole! Steve Awesome: I’ll show you, Cable. I’m gonna show everyone! They will all be sorry! {Steve storms off and Rob and Malo follow behind him. Cable sighs and shakes his head. He turns and looks at Xavier Cross and the rest of the panel.} Cable Arcane: Sorry you had to see that. Please carry on with the show… {Cable walks off and the live camera switches focus back to Xavier and he clears his throat.} Xavier Cross: Uhhh yeah, we will try Vasco Dias “Strong words from Cable Arcane and Steve Awesome…” Xavier Cross: “I gotta say, Cable has helped take this company to new heights, so it's hard to argue with him.” Rachel Grimes: “Moving on to better things than Steve Awesome, Caleb Lockewood defends his title against newcomer Ethan King.” Xavier Cross:“What I don't understand is how everyone has a grudge with Spike Kane.” Tyler Jacobs: “Spike Kane is a polarizing figure, and when you're as successful as he is, it tends to happen.” Xavier Cross: “King needs to not overlook Lockwood, The Pack is vicious, and Caleb is a prime example of what they can do to anyone at anytime.” Rachel Grimes: “We should probably have the red cross on standby, its going to be a bloodbath.” Vasco Dias: “Least we forget Jayson Matthews and Nighthawk. 2 out of 3 falls.” Xavier Cross: “Poor Jayson, the kid is getting pulled in every direction right now. But he may finally be able to get some solid ground under his feet by defeating his former mentor.” Tyler Jacobs: “this isn't just a match, this is a battle for Jayson Matthews soul.” Rachel Grimes: “But does Nighthawk have it in him?” Xavier Cross: “Jayson Matthews had one of the best years of his career last year, and if Andrew Jacobsen didnt have the run he had, you could argue Matthews as superstar of the year. I don't think Nighthawk has the stuff to win tonight.” Vasco Dias: “Nighthawk is a pure soul in this business. If anyone can break the control God has over Jayson. It had to be Nighthawk.” Rachel Grimes: “I'm getting the wrap up cue. Tonight is going to be incredible. Thank you all for joining us.” Tyler Jacobs: “This was surprisingly more pleasant than I thought it was going to be.” Xavier Cross: “Well you didnt have Ciara O’Connor coming at you.” Vasco Dias: “Good luck tonight pulling double duty Cross. I am Vasco Dias. Let's get it started shall we folks?” {The camera fades out as we go to a Night of the Immortals hype package.}----------------------------------------
SINGLES MATCH Redcap vs. Xavier Cross
----------------------------------------
Vasco Dias: “Ladies and Gentlemen welcome, to Night of the Immortals! The biggest show Imperial Wrestling puts on every year!” Terri Morasco: “This is the show that is the measuring stick for the industry! We have an action packed card, and tons of drama looking to be settled on the grandest stage of them all.” Vasco Dias: “As always, I am Vasco Dias and joining me to my left is Terri Morasco!” Terri Morasco: “And might I say Vasco, you look very dapper tonight.” Vasco Dias: “And you do not look like a total train wreck, glad to see you pulled it together for Night of the Immortals.” Terri Morasco: “...anyway, next up we have two men that have stood in each other’s way for weeks now, with Red Cap looking to make a name for himself, and Xavier Cross trying to banish the demon that has been Red Cap.” Vasco Dias: “End of the day, it seems Red Cap has taken acception to the fact that Xavier has continuously called him ‘Rookie’, while Cross seems to have been the target of many of Red Cap’s notorious ghost appearances. Let’s take a look to see how we got here!” {The screen swaps over to a video package, it opens to Xavier Cross re debuting, grabbing the microphone, as Akaline Trio’s ‘Burn’ plays softly in the background.}Xavier Cross: “IN THIS AGE OF GODS! I WILL BE PROMETHEUS! {It cuts to Xavier Cross hitting a series of his ‘Echoes of Madness’ knee strikes on various opponents. We pan into Xavier Cross pointing his finger gun at an opponent as we hear the music get to the lyrics ‘Everyone learns faster on fire.’ as we completely switch the mood and song, to Red Cap doing his no effort moonsault to the outside, looking like an absolute athletic star. The song has changed to ‘Ride the Tiger’ by Jefferson Starship as we get a clips of The Red Cap watching Cross from afar, interrupting Xavier’s backstage segment.}The Red Cap: “A fate is fate...there is no….” {The music suddenly stops as the clip flips to the go home Sacrifice, as the two men have just been separated after the brawl, Andrew Jacobsen standing between the two. As the camera pans up to the giant ‘Night of the Immortals’ sign.}Vasco Dias: “Another great piece put together by our boys backstage! They will hype you up for any match!” Terri Morasco: “Both men are looking to make a statement, this is a pivotal moment for The Red Cap, his young career can make a huge start with a win over Xavier Cross.” Vasco Dias: “But is Xavier Cross got it in him? Not only will he be facing Red Cap tonight, later on he will compete in the Joker in the Pack match. He has claimed this week the only reason he’s double booked is because he has the talent here.” Terri Morasco: “...it’s also possible they may need a replacement, and if Red Cap has a dominant win, that he might also find himself in that slot.” Vasco Dias: “No use putting it off any longer...ladies and gentlemen...The Red Cap versus...Xavier Cross!” {The lights begin to flicker, as the ground grows anxious in anticipation. With each dark out, we see movement. The flickering becomes a strobe light, as we begin seeing multiple versions of The Red Cap begin to fill the ramp, stage, ring, and even in the crowd. A single clap is heard as the lights shoot up brighter than normal as a white smoke begins to fill the stage area, the doppelganger Red Caps have vanished in the last blackout. Jefferson Starship’s ‘White Rabbit’ begins to bellow out in the arena, as we see The Red Cap slowly stand up on the very top of the Imperia-Tron! Grabbing onto a cable, Red Cap gracefully slides down landing on his feet. He races down the ring leaping from the end of the ramp, both feet landing on the apron as he immediately backflips onto his feet with little no effort. Holding his hands out, the camera pans in with a low shot as the stage erupts in an explosive pyro as he begins to climb the ring steps with a unique grace as he grabs onto the top rope, leaping over it, he moves to the corner grabbing onto the turnbuckle for a moment, putting his head down as he looks up, calmly his eyes search the arena from behind the mask.}Alison Valance: “Ladies and Gentlmen….allow me to introduce from Arcadia….he stands at six feet, two inches. He weighs in at two hundred and ten pounds….he is….THE RED CAAAAP!” {Instead of his normal casually stance, Red Cap slowly turns around taking his duster off, dropping it on the arena floor below, before cracking his neck.}Vasco Dias: “No carefree attitude about him...Red Cap seems to be in the mood for business tonight.” Terri Morasco: “Usually during the match, Red Cap will focus up and become dangerous, for him to start a match looking that way...I won’t lie, I’m a little scared myself…” Vasco Dias: “Scared you should be, this is Night of the Immortals, our table is destined to get destroyed at some point.” Alison Valance: “And his opponent….hailing from Atlanta, Georgia...he stands in at six feet, three inches, weighing in at two hundred and thirty-one pounds….he is….” IWF Galaxy: “XAVIER CROSS!” {The lights grow low, as the normal intro to ‘X’ Gon Give it to Ya’ hasn’t played yet, only silence, until the arena is completely dark as the stage lights up with a lightning bolt cracking the top of the stage as the arena is rumbled in a large thunder crash. There standing we see...The D.C. Comic character, The Flash! A spotlight soon is racing around, as walking out from behind him is another comic character, The Green Arrow!}Vasco Dias: “It didn’t take Xavier Cross long to capitalize on his new side job!” Terri Morasco: “I never thought I’d see Stephen Amell in a IWF arena!” Vasco Dias: “Calm yourself! That’s the Arrow you fool!” {A spotlight shoots into the air as the symbol for ‘Nightwing’ is shot into the air, Hovering over the blackened Impria-Tron, as it slowly out from the back is Xavier Cross, in a very new set of gear, a full athletic suit, based on a Nighthawk model, black, with streaks of royal blue, a slight black mask covering his eyes. But he isn’t alone, walking next to him in a very familiar outfit, is Wonder Woman, wearing her typical armored attire, a lasso at her hip.}Vasco Dias: “Is...that…” Terri Morasco: “It is! It’s Vivienne Rodgers! The Imperial Wonder Woman herself!” Vasco Dias: “Listen to the fans! They’re loving every bit of this!” {The newly made Nightwing Xavier Cross, bumps knuckles with The Flash and Arrow, as he turns to Vivienne ‘Wonder Woman’ Rodgers, putting his hand on her cheek as she gives him a smile. The trio walks back leaving Cross alone as he stands at the top of the ramp staring down at The Red Cap. ‘X Gon Give it to Ya’ begins to echo over the loudspeakers as Xavier Cross begins to nod his head to the beat. Instead of his normal walk down the ramp, he runs and leaps onto the barricade, running it like a tightrope down to the ring as he leaps from the barricade to the apron, he begins to ascend the turnbuckle from the outside, as he holds his arms out as the fans are going insane.}Vasco Dias: “This is a moment in time, listen to this crowd eat it up!” Terri Morasco: “This is show business of the highest order!” {Cross puts his arms down as he looks across the way at Red Cap as Cross steps onto the top turnbuckle, before casually stepping into the ring. Grabbing onto either side of the ropes leading into the turnbuckle he dips down a bit, his eyes locked on Red Cap.}Vasco Dias: “It was made clear to both of these men that they cannot put their hands on one another until that bell rings…” Terri Morasco: “With all the press functions, and just frenzy this week has been, these two have crossed paths, and have almost come to blows a few times...but now, now is the moment these two have counted down to.” {John Briggs checks both men, and calls for the bell. Both men explode out of the corner as Xavier Cross looks for a sliding trip, but Red Cap leaps into the air with a beautiful dodge. Cross catches himself, pushing himself to his feet quickly, as Cap turns around and the two men lock up in the center of the ring. Cross gets the advantage early, getting a hold of Red Cap’s arm, wrenching it a bit, as he slips under it wrenching it even more. Red Cap slaps his shoulder as he rolls forward, getting the advantage holding onto Xavier’s arm, wrenching it on his own now Red Cap takes advantage. Cross scratches at the hand of Cap, before leaning back throwing his momentum forward, Xavier Cross hits a standing front flip, still holding onto Red Cap’s arm now, he turns around wrenching it back forcing the offense against Red Cap he drops to a knee, clutching his arm. Cap quickly rolls to his feet, as Cross looks for an arm drag, but Red Cap throws himself high into the air dropping down with Xavier’s arm, but instead of being dragged Xavier cart wheels out of it. Both men stare at each other for a moment. Cross throws a hard forearm, but Red Cap ducks, letting Xavier’s momentum turn him around as Cap grabs him around the waist, looking for a snap german suplex. But on the throw, Cross backflips out of it landing on his feet he charges forward looking for a drop kick, but Red Cap side steps, as Cross lands on his back. But Xavier kips back up to his feet. Red Cap throws a hard high kick to the chest of Xavier who catches the foot but Red Cap back flips out of the clutch of Cross, forcing Xavier back a bit. The two men stare at each other again for a moment, before charging at each other, the two side step one another, rebounding off the ropes getting more speed. But as they’re about to crash in the center of the ring, Red Cap goes high and Cross goes low to avoid each other’s attacks. Cross on his back, spins his hips trying to trip Cap again, but Cap leaps over the attack as he uses his momentum in the air to come down with a closed fist onto Xavier’s face, but Cross manages to roll out of the way at the last second. Both men slap the mat, again having another stare off.}Vasco Dias: “By god in heaven himself, the athletic talent these two men have shown in the opening part of this match, are earth shattering!” Terri Morasco: “Both men have brought their A-Plus game for this big fight! And these fans are eating it up, I don’t think anyone has been sitting down since this match started!” Vasco Dias: “But the momentum of the entire match could rest on whoever can get the first real offense move in. These flashy counters are entertaining, but one man will break…” {Red Cap charges forward, but Cross hits him with a drop toe hold, rolling over Cap’s back, Cross looks to lock in a Cross Word Puzzle v.2 in early, but Cap shoves himself backwards as Cross goes forward. Red Cap moves forward looking for his penalty kick, but Cross manages to lean back. The fans at home are treated to a replay as the foot of Red Cap barely grazes the hair on Xavier Cross’s chin. Red Cap waits a beat as he charges forward as well, Cross ducks a clothesline from Cap as both men hit the opposite ropes. Look at these two go!” Terri Morasco: “It’s been a long time since I’ve seen such athletic displays. Red Cap is an incredible athlete! They sit there for a moment before the referee John Briggs splits the two men up, Cross throws a sneaky right hand, but Red Cap backflips to avoid it, landing on his feet he wags his finger at Xavier, but Cross shoots out of the corner, lifting Red Cap up with a shoulder tackle, slamming him into the opposite corner. Cap grabs Cross by the leg, and twists the ankle, as he applies an ankle lock as he slowly stands up to get more leverage on the foot. Cross smacks the mat, putting both hands on the ground, as he begins to do push ups, his body moving just enough to loosen the grip of Red Cap, as Cross rolls on his shoulder returning to his feet. Back on his feet, the two men begin to circle each other as Cross shakes his leg a bit, not letting his ankle get a chance to tighten up. The two men tie up once more, but Cap doesn’t take the bait, throwing a stiff knee shot into the gut of Xavier Cross, grabbing Cross by the wrist he wrenches it, Cross tries to counter with a hard kick, Cap ducks still holding onto Cross’s wrist, pulls up as Cross is facing backwards, his arm stuck between his legs as Cross is flipped forward landing on his feet, he adjusted his grip, grabbing onto Cap as Xavier drags him down with an arm drag. But Cap’s feet hit the middle rope flipping him backwards as he hits a lucha arm drag sending Cross through the bottom rope, slamming against the ring floor below.} Vasco Dias: “An impressive show by both men, counters after counters, but it seems Red Cap has the advantage with the reverse-rebound-lucha arm drag. Jesus, add reverse or flip, and you could call this match.” Terri Morasco: “Everyone knows your job is easy Vasco, I am the entertaining one and by goodness! These two men are all over the place, the ticket prices could have been higher!” Vasco Dias: “And we still have plenty more action to go.” {Red Cap quickly hops over the ring ropes landing on the ring apron. Xavier is quickly to his feet as Red Cap charges across the ring looking for a hurricanrana but as his body rotates Xavier Cross hits a pinpoint drop kick to the back of Red Cap sending him flying in the opposite direction. Xavier takes the chance as Red Cap gets back to his feet, Cross charges up the ring steps, across the ring apron and leaps out with a front flip looking for his own hurricanrana, but Cap manages to hold his ground, showing pure power as he lifts Xavier Cross up in a power bomb position. Cap moves over to the ring apron, but Cross grabs onto the top rope. The two struggle against one another to break the others grip. Cross manages to get himself back up on the ring apron, but Cap grabs him by the leg, jerking it out from under him as Xavier lands back first onto the ring apron. Cap quickly slides into the ring, breaking the count for a brief moment as he begins to ascend the turnbuckle. He measures Xavier up for a moment before launching himself off the top rope, hitting Xavier Cross, who was sitting on the ring apron with a huge missile drop kick. Cross slams against the ring apron, as he is laid out a bit twitching as Red Cap lands awkwardly. Cap looks around as the fans are split even in half, cheering for him, and cheering for Xavier. He begins to make his way over to Cross, but is caught with a surprise kick to the head staggering him. Cross looks around a bit, as he grabs onto the top rope, turning his back to Red Cap, he holds his arms out letting the cheers power him up, as he leaps into the air without touching the ring ropes, he hits an awkward moonsault, trying to mimic Red Cap with the ultra athletic moonsault! Cross crashes into Red Cap as he lands on his knees looking around a bit, as he grabs Red Cap by his helmet, forcing his foe to his feet, Xavier tosses Red Cap into the ring as he turns around taking a few steps up the ring ramp as the fans are just going nuts. But suddenly they get louder, as his face tells the tale as he slowly turns around to see Red Cap charging towards the ring ropes, springboarding off the adjacent ropes, to the top rope facing Xavier launching himself with a springboard that could break long jump records from the top rope, to just a few feet passed the end of the entrance ramp with a ridiculous shooting star press, as he crashes down atop of Xavier Cross. Red Cap staggers back to his feet, falling down once before climbing back to his feet. The fans are going completely nuts!}Vasco Dias: “HOLY SHIT! Just….what the hell kind of springs does that kid have in his knees?!” Terri Morasco: “That distance, that was easily twenty feet!” Vasco Dias: “Red Cap is showing just how high risk he’s willing to go! And this match isn’t over yet!” {Grabbing Xavier by the hair, Cap drags him towards the apron tossing him under the bottom rope, before rolling in after him. Cross is in another world in the center of the ring as he tries to get to his feet, falling to a knee. Red Cap has moved to the corner, eyeballing him, as he points at Xavier the same way Xavier points to an opponent before hitting his knee strike. The submission is in! Crossword Puzzle Version Two!” Vasco Dias: “And they’re in the center of the ring, how long can Red Cap last?!” {Xavier wrenches back with all his might, as Red Cap’s body is being folded in an unnatural way. Xavier lets go of the leg, rotating his body to get more leverage in the crossface chicken wing. Red Cap’s legs are swinging wildly, as he tries break the hold to no avail, using a last ditch effort, Red Cap rolls both him and Cross over trying to break the hold. But Cross isn’t letting go, as Red Cap flails his free arm, the roll getting him closer to the ropes. Putting his palm firmly on the ring, he uses every ounce of strength he has to pull himself within inches of the ring rope. A fingertip away…..but Cross does his own roll of the submission forcing them back to the center of the ring, the hold still locked in tight.}Vasco Dias: “Red Cap almost had the ring rope, the hold was almost broke, but now it looks like this match is almost over!” Terri Morasco: “That Cross face chicken wing is locked in so tight! What can Red Cap do??!” {Using one more chance, Red Cap rolls the submission with his last bit of might being sapped from him, as the two men roll over, hitting John Briggs knocking him into the corner. Xavier doesn’t realize this as he keeps the hold locked in tight as Red Cap begins to tap out! But, after not hearing the bell, Xavier looks around seeing the knocked out Briggs. Clutching his hair, Xavier returns to his feet.}Vasco Dias: “Cross had it won, but it doesn’t matter, this sold out arena saw it, but the referee is out, so this match keeps going!” Terri Morasco: “It’s hard to tell if Red Cap did that intentionally or not, I don’t think he saw John Briggs there?” Vasco Dias: “It doesn’t matter Terri, Briggs was there, and Red Cap needed that to happen!” {Cross leans down to check on referee John Briggs, as Cap slowly gets to his feet trying to shake off the damage done by the submission. That’s Xavier Cross’s signature move!” Terri Morasco: “Reflections worked! Red Cap may have finally capitalized on this!” {Xavier twitches a bit in the center of the ring as he holds out his arm a bit, like he’s trying to grab the ‘Night of the Immortals’ sign, but Cap grabs Xavier’s outstretched arm and begins to pull back on his index finger. Cross flails wildly but Cap put his foot on the face of Xavier Cross, and begins to pull on his arm, as he pull back on the index finger of Xavier Cross. As Red Cap lets go, walking to the corner eyeing Cross carefully, as Xavier rolls over, clutching his hand.}Vasco Dias: “...I think...I think Red Cap just broke the finger of Xavier Cross!” Terri Morasco: “I heard a sickening crack, and I think the fans did too because the crowd has grown awfully silent as they look on.” {Red Cap begins to stomp his foot, his eyes locked on Xavier Cross, who has rolled onto his knees, still clutching his hand in agony. Cap charges forward looking for another shot at the running penalty kick, but Cross leans back, popping up. I think he snapped his finger back into place…” Vasco Dias: “It’s hard to tell if it was broken or dislocated, either way, that takes some balls.” {Picking himself back up, Cross runs to the opposite corner putting his foot to the middle turnbuckle, pushing off as he charges at Red Cap, throwing his body, Cross looks for the cannonball, but Red Cap manages to slip out of the way, Cross’s legs get tangled and now he’s in the tree of woe. Red Cap gathers himself from the outside ring apron, holding himself up with the top rope as he looks at Cross, a twisted look in his eyes, his expression hidden by the mask as Red Cap springboards to the top rope, before dropping a downward drop kick right into the gut of Xavier Cross, who flounders around, still stuck in the tree of woe. Red Cap slaps his mask a bit, as he stands back up to his feet, before sending a series of kicks into the chest of Xavier Cross. Glancing over, seeing that John Briggs is finally gathering himself. Red Cap looks to finish it off, taking a few steps back as he charges forward aiming a baseball slide drop kick to the face of Xavier Cross. And he’s got his submission locked in!” Terri Morasco: “But look how close Red Cap is to the ropes!” {Terri is correct, as Red Cap manages to get his foot on the rope. Briggs tells Cross to break the hold as Cross falls backwards, exhausted. ----------------------------------------
{The opening hook of "Ante Up" blares from the PA as Nick Hunter and Nate Harris walk through the curtain, Nick immediately running over to the edge of the stage and riling the crowd up as Nate cracks his neck, a smirk on his face. Nick runs over to the other side of the stage, working the crowd some more, and Nate begins to walk down the ramp, Nick running to catch up with him as he continues to talk a mile a minute at the fans.}
Alison Valance: From the Big Easy, at a combined weight of 410 pounds, the team of Nick Hunter and Nate Harris, the Bourbon Street Saints!
{Nick fistbumps someone in the crowd, leaping up onto the apron as Nate climbs the steps. Nick slingshots over the top into the ring, landing on his feet and talking even more trash as Nate steps between the ropes, settling back into their corner. Nick walks in a circle in the ring, continuing to rile the crowd as he makes his way back to Nate, dropping his voice and beginning to talk strategy as the music fades.}
Vasco Dias: That’s it Terri! It’s time for the World Cup Tag Team tournament finals!
Terri Morasco: Yes it is buddy! The Bourbon Street Saints have fought long and hard to get here, coming back through a second chance and earning their way to the finals.
Vasco Dias: On the other hand, the Age of Gods also earned their spot here…
{The lights go out as Necessary Evil by Motionless in White kicks in hard. Torches light up in the darkened arena as we see Angel Blake and Spike Kane standing on the center of the stage. Spike throws up the X and Angel does a Christ pose before the two of them step forward and begin to head toward the ring, an explosion of fire behind them. Spike rolls in under the bottom rope and sits cross legged in the ring, Angel comes up behind him, the two pose again before the music dies and the light returns.}
Vasco Dias: What a presence!
Terri Morasco: You’re not wrong there Dias. Angel and Spike most certainly do have a presence, but later tonight they’re due to fight each other for the World Title. You have to wonder if that is going to play into the match here.
Vasco Dias: Oh ye of little faith! Any normal human being would crack under that pressure and try to gain an advantage going into tonights Main Event…..but they are no ordinary people Terri.
Terri Morasco: Sure….you keep telling yourself that, all I’m saying is don’t count out the Saints.
{The two teams are in their corner, Angel stands on the apron leaning over the shoulder of Spike, as he stares across the ring. Nick and Nate have a hand around each others heads as they lean in and give each other a hype slash prep talk, before Nick steps out onto the apron and the referee finally calls for the bell.}
Vasco Dias: It’s the Final! LET’S GO!
{Nate begins to pace around the ring as Spike walks into the center. His eyes never stop following Nate, who skips forwards for a lockup. Spike immediately takes him down with an armdrag, but Nate pops right back to his feet and as Spike turns around he nails him with a diving forearm. Nate pops right up to his feet with a “woo!” and the crowd pop. Spike rolls to his corner where Angel leans down to talk, but does not tag in. Spike pulls himself up, and rolls his shoulder as Nate hops from foot to foot, before motioning for Spike to “bring it” and of course, Spike charges.}
Terri Morasco: Showing Spike that he’s not going to be an easy target here.
Vasco Dias: Easy? No. A target? Definitely.
{Spike charges towards Nate, but he ducks under the wild lariat and hits the ropes. Spike turns around as a diving Nate Harris comes at him, but Spike hits the mat and rolls underneath. The two quickly roll to a knee, Harris smirks at Spike who just sneers back. The crowd, however, begin to applaud. The both move forwards to lock up again, this time Nate slips behind Spike and goes for a belly to back suplex, but Spike hooks his leg through Nate’s to block it. Nate goes one more time, but Spike hits him with a sharp elbow to the head. Harris staggers a little and Spike hits the ropes coming back with a Bloody Sunday kick with some venom on it.}
Terri Morasco: What a shot!
Vasco Dias: He put something extra on that! That was a message to Nate Harris and his partner.
{Spike goes for the cover, but Nate kicks out at one. Spike snarls as he drags Nate to his corner, he looks up and makes eye contact with Angel Blake. There almost seems to be a sense of hesitation before they tag and Angel takes over. Spike steps out onto the apron after handing over the arm of Nate Harris to Angel. Angel twists the arm around before dropping a leg drop across it. He wrenches the arm a little before letting go and climbing to his feet. There’s a sense of quietness around the crowd as Angel peers out to them.}
Vasco Dias: Bow in awe Terri!
Terri Morasco: Oh brother…
{Angel slowly drags Nate to his feet, he whips him off the ropes and goes for a quick side kick, but Nate leaps over it and takes Angel down with a diving lariat. Harris then does a handstand flip to get to his corner and tag in Nick Hunter. Nick leapfrogs over the ropes, the two of them bump fists before grabbing Angel and nailing him with the Roaring Tiger Suplex combination. Nate leaves the ring as Nick goes for the cover…..ONE! …..TWO! …..THR-KICKOUT BY ANGEL!}
Vasco Dias: You can’t keep God down!
Terri Morasco: I don’t know Vasco, it was pretty close there.
{Angel rolls to his side, looking up towards Spike who is nodding his head, reaching out for a tag. Angel reaches but is too far away. Nick quickly applies pressure locking in a front facelock on Blake on the floor. Blake struggles for a moment before getting to a knee, Hunter follows, trying to keep the pressure on as Angel starts to send shots to his gut, Nick Hunter quickly takes the initiative and steps up before nailing a huge impact DDT. He steps over Angel and tags in Nate. Nate too, hops over the ropes and the two men grab Angel as Nate hooks up and ...CANONIZATION!!! The crowd pops like mad as Nick slides out of the ring and Nate goes for the cover.}
Terri Morasco: This is it!
Vasco Dias: No! Come on!
{The referee slides in for the count as the crowd chant along….ONE! …..TWO! …...THREE!-NO!!!! Spike kicks Nate Harris in the side of the head forcing the count to break. He immediately starts to stomp on Nate, before the referee can try and separate them. Nick Hunter slides right back into the ring and charges at Spike clotheslining him and himself over the top rope and outside the ring.}
Vasco Dias: This referee has lost control!
Terri Morasco: You’re only saying that because the Age of Gods don’t have an advantage!
{Inside the ring Nate is back to his feet, holding the back of his head from where Spike was stomping. He stalks Angel who is slowly getting to his feet, the referee is looking over at Nick and Spike as Nate goes to grab Angel and Blake sends a stiff kick to the groin! As Nate slowly begins to bend cupping his privates Angel snaps forwards with a huge Genocide Kick! He falls backwards and goes for the pin, after a few moments the referee spots it and turns to count….ONE! …..TWO! …..THREE-NO!!!! Nate Harris kicks out! The crowd in the arena go absolutely nuts! On the outside Nick is back to his feet and he slides in to go and help Nate up, but the referee gets in his face.}
{As the referee corners Hunter, Nate begins to come to his sense. He spots Spike climbing up onto the apron and nails him with a huge step enziguri that knocks him back down to the floor. He turns to stalk Angel who is back to his feet, but as he gets close to his corner Spike tags himself in. God stares Spike down for a moment as Spike rushes past him and prepares to go to work... but the brief look between the two gives Nate an opening of distraction and delivers a chop block to the back of Spike's leg. Hunter is now back in his corner, and the two tag. They lift Spike in the air and...CANONIZATION!!!
Nick goes for the cover….ONE! …...TWO! …...THREE!!!
The bell rings and the crowd go nuts as the Bourbon Street Saints bounce around the ring, high fives, and chest bumps. The referee grabs the trophy from the timekeeper as Angel drags Spike out of the ring.}
Terri Morasco: The Bourbon Street Saints have done it! The fairytale ending comes true!
Vasco Dias: Dammit! Dammit all to hell!
{The Saints celebrate in the ring with the trophy held high as Spike and Angel help each other up the ramp, once they reach the top there’s a moment where they lock eyes and look right at each other, before Spike nods his head and heads backstage, leaving Angel to look down at the Saints. The camera returns to the Saints and focuses on their celebrating.}

IWF EXTREME CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
Caleb Lockwood(c) vs. Ethan King
----------------------------------------
{Lights go down. The opening riff of "Hail to the King" plays, met with swiftly moving and flashing white spotlights flashing through the arena, and as the drums kick in Ethan King slowly steps out to the stage, accompanied by his wife. He takes a few steps forward, wearing an expensive looking black suit, looking to either side as he cracks his neck with a smug grin. Ethan looks dead ahead at the ring, as the overture ends, the lights come up in full as he spreads his arms wide and soaks in the reaction from the crowd.} Terri Morasco: This match is Ethan King's IWF debut, and he's certainly talked himself into a big opportunity. The question is if he's in over his head taking on the pitbull of the Pack in a hardcore match. Vasco Dias: Ethan King earned his name wrestling deathmatches in Japan. He's much more than a pretty face, he's a savvy competitor and the LAST person you want to underestimate. {When the lyrics begin he finally lowers his arms and begins his walk down the ramp. When he reaches the ring he removes his suit - revealing his ring attire underneath - pulls himself up onto the apron, and finally stepps into the ring when the chorus roars through the arena. He stands in the center of the ring, a single fist raised in the air as he nods slightly in rhythm to the music, pumping his fists three times in time with the words “HAIL! HAIL! HAIL!” before finally settling into his corner.}
Terri Morasco: You can feel the anticipation in the air here... Vasco Dias: This is going to be an absolute bloodbath. {A roaring scream pierces the air, and as the crunching guitars of "Rise, Rebel, Resist" play Caleb Lockwood stalks out onto the stage, Extreme Championship hanging from a clenched fist and eyes fixed on the ring as he licks his lips idly. He stalks down to the ring, hands clenching and unclenching as his eyes shift back and forth to scan the crowd.} Terri Morasco: And here comes the Extreme Champion, ready for battle! Vasco Dias: He looks so angry and dirty. Thankfully, the King is going to put this rabble in his place! {As he approaches the ring, Caleb slides into the ring, rolling to the side and coming up in a crouch. His eyes never stop moving as he backs into the corner of the ring, cracking each of his joints in turn and waiting for the match to start.} Alison Valance: Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is a Falls Count Anywhere HAAARDCOOOORE MATCH, scheduled for one fall, and it is for the IWF EXTREEEEEEME CHAAAAMPIONSHIIIIIP! {The crowd pops for the announcement, and Alison allows them to calm down before continuing.}Alison Valance: Introducing first, to my right, the challenger. Being accompanied by Gwen Price-King, from Green Bay, Wisconsin, weighing in at 240 pounds, ETHAAAAAAAN KIIIIIIIING! {Ethan raises his fist in the air again, smirking as the crowd boos him and his manager. Laura, for her part, merely stares across the ring as Alison shifts slightly.}
Alison Valance: And his opponent...representing the Pack, from Oakland, California, weighing in at 168 pounds, he is the IWF Extreme Champion...CALEEEEEEEEB LOOOOOOOOCKWOOOOOOOOD! {The crowd unexpectedly pops as Caleb takes a step out of the corner, holding the Extreme Championship high in the air with a smirk on his face. Ethan smirks back, bemused, as Caleb hands the belt to the ref, never breaking his gaze with Ethan. The referee displays the title to each side of the ring before handing it off to the timekeeper and consulting with both competitors. Ethan nods to the ref, and Caleb gives his own almost imperceptible nod. Satisfied, the referee turns and calls for the bell.} Terri Morasco: HERE WE GO! Vasco Dias: This is going to be messy! {As the bell rings, Ethan raises his hands, beckoning for a lockup. Caleb blinks, shrugging, and nods, prompting a smirk from Ethan. The two shoot in for a lock-up, and Ethan quickly uses his size advantage to snare a side headlock. He chuckles, shaking his head, and mockingly grinds on the headlock, Caleb struggling against Ethan's grip. He transitions into a hammerlock, wrenching on the hold and taunting Caleb as he bears down on the hold. Ethan twists out into a wristlock, yanking on the hold with a mocking smile.} Terri Morasco: Unusually scientific start to this match, and Ethan's definitely bringing his superior size to bear early on. Vasco Dias: The King is putting this riff-raff in his place. Good for him, I say! {Caleb grits his teeth, struggling as Ethan bears down on the hold, before flipping through with a headstand and reversing the hold into a wristlock of his own! Ethan struggles now, caught off-guard as Caleb swiftly transitions into a hammerlock of his own, then to a side headlock before snapping Ethan down with a side headlock takeover! Ethan quickly counters into a headscissors, but Caleb kips up out of the hold, Ethan scrambling to his feet only to meet a quick dropkick from the Extreme Champion! Ethan rolls to the outside, shaking his head as his wife consults with him.}
Terri Morasco: And lest we forget, Caleb Lockwood's got some grappling game of his own! Vasco Dias: Underneath that beat-down exterior is a premier athlete, trained by the Ace and hungry for victory. Ethan's got the advantage, but he can't take Caleb too lightl—WHOA! {As Vasco's speaking, Caleb hits the ropes, charging and leaping over the top rope to take out Ethan on the outside with a huge tope con hilo! Caleb lands on his feet, roaring as the crowd cheers the athletic display. Caleb grabs Ethan by the seat of his tights, hauling him to his feet, and hurling him into the ring. Caleb kneels down, rummaging under the ring, and withdraws a steel chair, grinning before slinging it into the ring. He does the same with a trash can before climbing up on the apron, measuring Ethan with a smirk on his face.} Terri Morasco: An amazing aerial display from Caleb Lockwood, turning back the hands of time! Vasco Dias: When something like the Extreme Title is on the line, you bring your entire arsenal to bear. This isn't just any night, Terri, this is Night of the Immortals. We see extraordinary things! {As Ethan gets to his feet, Caleb leaps up on the top rope, springboarding in with a forearm...ONLY FOR ETHAN TO SWAT CALEB OUT OF THE AIR WITH A MASSIVE CHAIRSHOT! Caleb drops to the canvas, clutching his head, and Ethan quickly drops a knee to the side of Caleb's head, rolling to his feet with a flourish. A puddle of red quickly grows under Caleb's prone form, and Ethan delivers a series of vicious stomps to Caleb's forehead, the referee unable to do anything but ask if Caleb can continue. Caleb waves the referee off, earning another stomp from Ethan before being scooped up onto the Wisconsinite's shoulder and barged into the corner for a Snake Eyes! Caleb rebounds off of the top turnbuckle, an arc of crimson flying from his forehead, and Ethan drops into the first cover of the match!
ONE! TWO! KICKOUT! Ethan shakes his head briefly before nodding, grabbing Caleb's wrist and twisting him into another wristlock.}Terri Morasco: God, you were right! This is getting ugly quick! Vasco Dias: That's why Ethan King is in this position: he has the talent and the instincts to compete at an elite level. The Pack are in trouble here! {Ethan shoots a knee up into Caleb's sternum before wrenching his arm around and snapping it off of his shoulder. He doesn't let go, however, and Ethan threads around into a half nelson before yanking Caleb up and drilling him with a half nelson backbreaker! Caleb clutches his spine, letting out a cry of pain, and Ethan smirks, straddling him and nailing a series of punches. Caleb's blood streaks along Ethan's hands and forearms, leaving slick trails of red in their wake. After roughly a dozen strikes, Ethan kicks Caleb onto his stomach, hooking his foot under Caleb's chin and guiding him up to a vertical base.} Terri Morasco: Oh God, he's an absolute wreck! Ethan King is in FIRM control here! Vasco Dias: Now you see what happens when the classes go to war! {Caleb staggers as Ethan rears back, whipping his foot around in a vicious arc for the BARE YOUR THROAT! NO! Caleb manages to roll forward and underneath the move, hitting the ropes! Ethan quickly recovers, hitting the opposite ropes, and comes off with the FINAL TILT! NO! Caleb ducks under again, leaping onto the middle rope, and catches Ethan as he turns around with the BEAST OF WAR! Both men drop to their hands and knees, Ethan clutching his forehead and Caleb quickly forcing himself to his feet with a shout of defiance.} Terri Morasco: One move! One move is all it takes to shift the momentum, and Caleb Lockwood might have just bought himself back into this match! Vasco Dias:This flipping maniac! Ethan King doesn't deserve this sort of shabby treatment! He's a philanthropist! He's a successful businessman! Who is Caleb Lockwood to inflict this kind of-of senseless brutality on him?! Terri Morasco: He's the IWF Extreme Champion, Vasco, and he intends to keep it that way! {Ethan rocks back to his knees, and Caleb lights him up with a huge kick to the chest. A second connects, then a third, then a fourth! Ethan clutches his chest and Caleb quickly wrenches his arm, hauling him up and looking for an Irish whip. Ethan reverses, ducking his head for a back body drop, and Caleb counters with a facebreaker knee smash! Ethan shoots upright, stumbling in a circle before running straight into an inverted atomic drop that staggers him again. Caleb hits the ropes, and Ethan quickly scoops up the fallen chair, hoping to catch lightning in a bottle twice! Unfortunately for him, Caleb's just too quick this time, coming off with a huge single leg dropkick that smashes the chair into Ethan's face! Caleb quickly mounts Ethan with a crucifix, delivering a barrage of elbows to the side of Ethan's head!}Terri Morasco: What a flurry of offense! Ethan King might be in trouble here! Vasco Dias: Get that idiot off of him! Don't you understand you're defacing a national treasure?! Quem quer que tenha dado a esse idiota um contrato deve ser jogado do alto de um arranha-céu! Terri Morasco: He's trying to win a match, Vasco! Your favoritism makes me sick sometimes! Vasco Dias: Nate Harris! Terri Morasco: Not relevant right now! {Ethan keeps enough of his wits to roll Caleb onto his shoulders!
ONE! TWO! KICKOUT! Caleb releases the crucifix to kick out, but as he approaches Ethan again he's met with a quick rake to the eyes. Caleb stumbles back, clutching his face, and Ethan delivers a savage snap kick to the gut, doubling him over. Ethan hauls him in, underhooking his arms and looking for the BEND THE KNEE! Caleb manages to snap his arms free of the underhooks, however, and lashes out with a superkick to Ethan's kneecap, dropping him to his knees. Caleb quickly hits the ropes, bounding off and leaping for the CURB STOMP! NO! Ethan rolls out of the way, fumbling with his boots, and as Caleb turns around, hopping a bit on one leg, Ethan lunges forward, drilling Caleb between the eyes with the BRAZEN EQUALIZER! Caleb drops like a sack of bricks, and Ethan drops into a cover, hooking both legs tightly!
ONE! TWO! THRE—KICKOUT! Caleb barely manages to kick out, and Ethan looks incensed! He begins to argue with the referee, who frantically defends his cadence.}Terri Morasco: Those damn brass knuckles again! First they took out James Michael Nash, and now they almost dropped Caleb Lockwood! Ethan King is throwing everything at the wall here! Vasco Dias: Stay down! STAY DOWN! Know your place, Lockwood! {Caleb forces himself up to his knees, gasping for air. Ethan shakes his head in disbelief, lighting Caleb up with an uppercut before delivering a quick boot to the gut. He underhooks Caleb's arms again, this time to the side, and hauls Caleb to the center of the ring, eyeing up the trash can, and kicks his leg out for the BLACK ICE! NO! Caleb spins out, grabbing Ethan's wrist, and hauls him in for the FADING HOPE DDT ON THE TRASH CAN! Caleb bounces up into a sitting position, grin stretching his fac. His visage is absolutely awash with blood as Ethan clutches his own forehead, a rivulet of blood staining him a matching shade of red. Caleb drops back down, rolling to the outside as Gwen looks on, worried.} Terri Morasco: Caleb keeps pulling these counters out of nowhere! What's he going to do next? Vasco Dias:Under that ring lurks only misery and pain, Terri! I don't like this, I don't like this at all! {Caleb flips the ring apron up, reaching under and slowly drawing out a table! The crowd voices its approval, and he slides the table into the ring, following the furniture in quickly. Caleb gets to his feet, setting up the table near a corner, and walks back over to the still-prone Ethan. Caleb hauls him up with a handful of his hair before hooking him into a Muay Thai clinch, drilling him with a series of knee strikes that cause Ethan's arms to drop limp. Caleb drags Ethan over to the table, bouncing his head off it and leaving a bloody smear before rolling him onto the table on his back. Caleb looks to the turnbuckle, and the crowd roars as he points to the top buckle before making a flipping motion with his hands!}Terri Morasco: WHAT?! He couldn't be signaling for what I think he is, could he?! Vasco Dias: Before the likes of Dean Harper arrived in IWF, Caleb Lockwood was one of the premier high-flyers in all of wrestling! He could be digging deep for the big guns! {Caleb walks around the table, hauling himself up the turnbuckles with gritted teeth. He wipes the blood from his eyes, looking around at the crowd with a grin on his face. Caleb closes his eyes, taking a deep breath, and backflips, rotating twice midair gracefully to deliver the SKYSCRAPER PRESS!THROUGH AN EMPTY TABLE! Ethan managed to shove himself off the table at the last second, leaving Caleb to crash through ribs-first! Caleb and Ethan both lie in motionless heaps in the middle of the ring, half the mat stained various shades of red by their savage war. Gwen pounds on the mat, trying to encourage Ethan to get up as both men lay stunned and a "HO-LY SHIT!" chant roars to life.} Terri Morasco: MY GOD! We haven't seen that move in almost half a decade, and if he had connected with Ethan King, this match would be over! Vasco Dias: Ethan averted disaster there! That's why he's the King, Terri: always have an escape plan! {Shockingly, the first one to stir is Caleb, who forces himself to an elbow, looking up from the wreckage at the barely-breathing Ethan. He tries to pull himself free of the table, only for a trio of security officers to rush from the curtain, followed closely by Laura Howlett and the overwhelming rage of the crowd. Ethan manages to roll onto his side, arm splayed out, and one of the security team reaches in, grabbing his wrist and slinging him across his shoulders in a fireman's carry. He begins carrying Ethan up the ramp as Gwen and Laura begin arguing furiously. The two women argue up the ramp, the two remaining security officers flanking Caleb's downed form.} Terri Morasco: What in the hell is going on here?! Laura Howlett just pulled Ethan King out of the ring, and it looks like she's trying to pull him out of the entire match! Vasco Dias: It's no use winning if you can't do anything with it. She's protecting her investment, Terri. It's a smart managerial choice. Terri Morasco: Gwen Price-King certainly doesn't seem to share your assessment, Vasco, and now Caleb Lockwood's alone in the ring with two of those guards. What in the hell is going on?! {The guards haul Caleb up to his feet, but Caleb instinctively lashes out with a low blow, dropping one of them. The second's eyes go wide, and Caleb suddenly unleashes a flurry of punches, driving him back. The guard shoves Caleb back, but Caleb catches him on the rebound with a knee to the gut and another FADING HOPE! Caleb bounces up, the second guard getting to his hands and knees, and without thinking he hits the ropes and drills the second guard's head into the mat with the CURB STOMP! Caleb gets to a knee, snarling as the crowd cheers his revenge. Caleb rolls out of the ring, heading to the timekeeper's area, and snatches his belt back, stalking towards the back with murder in his eyes.} Terri Morasco: I didn't hear a bell, and the referee hasn't said anything. I...I think this match is still ongoing! Vasco Dias: For Laura Howlett's sake, she had better hope not. Ethan King barely made it out with his life, and now Lockwood looks more furious than ever. {Caleb lopes up the ramp, his free hand clutching his forehead, and disappears behind the curtain to the crowd's cheers.}
Terri Morasco: It's going to take a minute to sort things out here, folks. Bear with us. ---------------------------------------- ----------------------------------------
JOKER IN THE PACK Dean Harper vs. Andrew Jacobsen vs. Ulf Hednir vs. Pax Stormcrow vs. Xavier Cross vs. Captain Thaddeus Isambard Bancroft
----------------------------------------
Alison Valance: The following ladder match is for Joker in the Pack! {The camera goes under the ring to show where the ladders are stored to above the ring where the brief case with the words JOKER IN THE PACK are written along the side.} Vasco Dias: This is one of the events I’m excited to see if I’m honest. Terri Morasco: As with any ladder match the contract for the Joker in the pack is hung above the ring. When one of the competitors reaches up and grabs the briefcase they will be able to cash it in to get a match with any champion they choose. Vasco Dias: Weapons are legal as well so anything goes. Terri Morasco: With the men we have in this match tonight it is sure to be intense. {The lights in the arena dim, and there is the sound of a powerup collected in an old video game system. At the sound, the crowd leap to their feet with cheers. A beat is laid out, filling the arena with the sounds of a Midi file. The lights pulse in time with the music. As they flash as the beat trembles, an explosion of sparks rocks the entrance stage. Pax runs out, shouting at the crowd to hype them up as the chanting on Suplex by A Tribe Called Red kicks in.} Alison Valance: First down to the ring, Aitkin Minnesota standing at 6’2’’ weighing in at 249 pounds…. PAX STORMCROW! {He jumps in place at the entrance ramp, before making his way down to the arena. He slaps hands with fans, especially taking the time to pay attention to a kid or two on the way down to the ring. He slides under the ropes and rolls to his feet, circling the ring as he shouts to the crowd with a giant smile on his face.}Vasco Dias: Pax looks ready to go tonight. He’s got a lot to prove in this match. Terri Morasco: He is a technical wrestler and in this situation he might have a disadvantage but it’s also possible he has some skills just hiding in the wings. {The lights dim as the pipes of "The British Grenadiers" hits the arena speakers and then from the rafters comes swinging Thaddeus and Harriet, Thaddeus dressed in a long coat, top hat and flying a Union Jack umbrella as he laughs brightly moving for the ring, he takes a moment to regail his subjects, wiping his feet on the apron as Harriet holds the ropes open as the pair walk the ring and be smug} Alison Valance: From the S.S Vermillion standing at 6’3’’ weighing in at 230 pounds…. CAPTAIN THADDEUS ISAMBRAND BANCROFT Vasco Dias: Here’s who I am most excited for in this match. Who knows how this is going to go. Terri Morasco: With the history between Pax and Thaddeus it’s hard to know what is going to transpire here. Vasco Dias: They could get distracted and fight each other. It’s anyone’s guess. {The lights go out as the melodic opening of The Howling by Within Temptation begins to play. After a few moments a single white spotlight shines down on the stage, showing Dean crouched on the stage, looking down at the ground with his hood concealing his face. Smoke rises around him eerily as he slowly rolls his wrists. Suddenly, in time with the opening guitar riff, the lights snap blood red as Dean stands, walking through the now red-lit smoke towards the ring. He jumps up onto the apron before springing on the bottom rope into the ring. Once in the center of the ring, he spreads his arms wide as he soaks in the red flashing lights before lifting his head sharply, kicking back the hood to show his face, nodding in rhythm to the music as he slowly breaks into a wicked grin. After a few moments he turns and settles into his corner, tossing his hood and jacket to ringside.}
Alison Valance: From the Pack compound, standing at 6’2’’ and weighing in at 200 pounds… DEAN HARPER! Vasco Dias: This is going to get bloody and I love it. Terri Morasco: Given the other people in this match I can’t say I disagree with you. {The entire arena is shrouded in darkness, leaving the crowd in anticipation; a single spotlight shines down to the side of the stage showing an individual male figure standing at the top with a war horn held to his lips-- the horn sounds throughout the arena, and rhythmic drumming joins the horn as the ramp is illuminated by torches held at the front of a line of men that are marching down the sides of the ramp; the men behind the torch guides are holding swords and round shields…}
Tyr! Tyr! Tyr! Tyr! Tyr! {The two torch bearers separate at the end of the ramp, and continue strolling forward; the men all follow around until they have all surrounded the ring for the exception of the ramp, and the ramp side of the ring. The drums continue beating rhythmically, as all of the men come to a stop; the chanting of the music continues as another group comes out from behind the curtains-- they all have their shields held up forming a shield wall as they press forward just to cover much of the stage. The war horn sounds loudly, holding the note for a good while, and the spotlight stops over the center of the men that have formed the shield wall. The torches are put out leaving that spotlight as the sole light left on throughout the arena. The drumming and chants all come to a stop for several seconds until the war horn breaks the silence one last time… and the guitar riff from “Raise Your Horns” by Amon Amarth starts to play over the audio system; the men who had formed the shield wall advance in a tactical fashion forming the remaining line up the ramp. Ulf Hednir emerges from the middle of the shield wall formation wearing a white wolf headdress, no shirt, and red streaks of paint fading down his face and his chest, and black eyeshadow. He looks out to the crowd and retrieves his drinking horn hanging at his side, and all of the Vikings that have surrounded the ring have also retrieved their own…}
So pour the beer for thirsty men A drink that they have earned And pour a beer for those who fell For those who did not return {Ulf walks down the ramp at a slow pace, saluting the men as he walks past them by holding the horn up; as he passes them, each Viking takes a drink from their own drinking horn but Ulf has yet to take a drink of his own as he continues to walk down until he is at the bottom of the ramp. The chorus of the song blasts through the speakers, and Ulf raises his horn as many of the fans in the stands, some who have gotten their own drinking horn are holding theirs up, while others are throwing up the devil horn hand sign.}
Raise your horns raise them up to the sky We will drink to glory tonight Raise your horns for brave fallen friends We will meet where the beer never ends {Ulf Hednir holds the drinking horn as steady as he can, but takes a leaping stride up to the apron and walks to the nearest turnbuckle; he climbs up with one foot on the second rope, and the other on the top of the turnbuckle as he lifts the drinking horn and finishes the beverage with one giant gulp-- he holds the empty horn high for the crowd, as they cheer louder and the Vikings surrounding the area all hold their own horns high as well. Ulf shouts, "Skål!" out to the crowd, and they all return the shout back to him, before Ulf gives a salute to the surrounding Vikings, and all of them place their drinking horns to their belts and march out the sides of the ramp and out from the side rather than the center curtain. Ulf leaps down from the turnbuckle he is perched on, and into the ring, as he parades proudly around the ring-- he walks to the far end of the ring hands his drinking horn to the time keeper. He stands proudly in the ring a moment longer before removing the wolf headdress and also handing it to the time keeper. Ulf stands near his corner in the ring, waiting for the match to begin.}Alison Valance: From Oslo, Norway standing at 6’5’’ and weighing in at 243 pounds…. ULF HEDNIR! Terri Morasco: Ulf has been clear about wanting to be the youngest Imperial champion in the company’s history. If he wins this match tonight he might very well win that. Vasco Dias: He just has to get past everyone else here to do it. {The lights grow a little brighter, as the intro to 'X Gon Give it to Ya' by DMX begins to play on the loudspeakers, out from the behind the curtain slowly walks to the stage, rotating his shoulders a bit, a smirk on his face as he throws his hands up to the cheers of the crowd, pushing his hood back, glancing around the arena hand over his brow to block out some of the light.} Alison Valance: Standing at six feet three inches, weighing in at two hundred and thirty one pounds....he hails from Atlanta, Georgia by way of Lexington, Virginia....he is Xavier.....CROOOOOOOSSSSSS... {Throwing his fist in the air, a series of flames lights up the sides of the entrance ramp down to the ring as he charges forward running down the ramp, sliding into the ring through the bottom rope, glancing around a bit, he tosses his jacket off, before making his way to hard camera ropes, putting one foot on the middle rope lifting himself up throwing up a single fist in the air, as the fire slowly goes on the entrance ramp, but the four turnbuckles send a series of fire pyrotechnics into the air. Walking back, the fire slowly fades as he begins to stretch off in his corner.} Terri Morasco: Cross has been on a renaissance lately. This is also his second match of the night. If he manages to make win this match it will be something to see! Vasco Dias: He already had that long impressive match with Redcap this evening. Maybe if he hadn’t had that match he’d have something left in the tank, but I don’t know if he’ll be able to pull it off this evening. {The opening riff of "Unbreakable" plays, sending the crowd into a frenzy, and as the drums kick in Andrew Jacobsen comes striding out onto the ramp, Danielle Chase a step behind him. He takes a few steps forward, looking to either side with a wide grin on his face. Andrew looks dead ahead at the ring, cracking his neck, and throws his arms out and head back as a burst of red and green pyro goes off to either side of him. Andrew and Danielle walk down the ramp, Andrew high-fiving fans as he goes, and he pulls himself up onto the apron, looking around at the fans with an infectious grin on his face. He climbs through the second rope and walks to a corner, checking his gloves and talking with Danielle as he waits for the match to start.} Alison Valance: And last but not least from Minneapolis, Minnesota standing at 6’2’’ weighing in at 235 pounds… ANDREW JACOBSEN Vasco Dias: And here is the previous Imperial Champion in this match. Terri Morasco: He has made clear his intentions to take back the belt from Angel Blake. He said regardless of who is in his way. {As each man gets into position there is a clear tension in the air as they all look at each other waiting for the bell to ring to start the match.} Vasco Dias: It’s hard to know how this is going to go down. Terri Morasco: Do you think any of these men are going to work together? Vasco Dias: We know AJ and Cross have had some time together in Japan. We know Ulf and Dean had a somewhat successful tag team. But do I think any of that is going to make a reappearance here? No. In a match like this it’s every man for himself. Terri Morasco: But in the past this match has been won by two men- Vasco Dias: Every man for himself. {As soon as the bell goes off each man splits their attention. Pax grabs Xavier in a German suplex and tosses him down. } Terri Morasco: Pax paying Cross back for his comments in his promo and on twitter here. Vasco Dias: Cross isn’t the first person to make fun of his name. It seems to be a pretty common tactic here. I think what this is about is more about the mom comment. {Ulf hits Dean with a forearms smash. AJ waits for Dean to get up to hit him with a forearm chop. Thaddeus stands in the corner and his assistance Harriet hands him a cup on Saucer with tea in it.} Terri Morasco: Ulf and AJ going after Dean here. Vasco Dias: It makes sense. Many people identified him as who they consider the big threat here. Terri Morasco: Doesn’t hurt there is some bad blood between Ulf and Dean as well as AJ and Dean. Vasco Dias: Well, sure. I like How Thaddeus is just taking in everything. {Thaddeus leans against the ropes sipping tea as the match continues around him.} Terri Morasco: Is that what that is? Vasco Dias: Keeping himself ready for when the ladder up so he can take advantage. {Pax hits Xavier with a Power slam. Ulf hits Dean with a dropkick, Aj assists with a Discus chop.} Terri Morasco: AJ and Ulf are putting it hard to Dean Harper. Vasco Dias: Harper likes pain but sooner or later it has to be too much pain for his body. {Thaddeus takes another sip of tea.} Vasco Dias: What kind of tea do you think he is drinking? Something green? Caffeinated? Terri Morasco: That’s the question you have? {Cross bounces off the ropes and hits Pax with a Rebound Clothesline. Once Pax is down he hits Pax with a pele kick.} Terri Morasco: Cross bouncing back here to get back at cross Vasco Dias: Cross has the experience in the ring over Pax here. {As AJ is setting up for a Superkick, Dean dead drops out of position, so Ulf take the LIGHTS OUT to the head. AJ has a look that makes clear he hadn’t intended that but before he can turn around Dean hits him with a Roll-through Russian leg sweep followed by a flipping leg drop} Vasco Dias: And Harper’s ring awareness coming into play here. Terri Morasco: Poor Ulf. Poor AJ. Vasco Dias: This is what team work does you poorly in this match. {Xavier hits Pax with a Springboard Enziguri knocking him back to knock into Thaddeus spilling his tea.} Vasco Dias: Oh no! {Dean backs off AJ just enough to hit him with a Running double knee strike to a seated opponent. He drags AJ up and Dean starts hitting a repeated knee strikes to AJ’s midsection.} Vasco Dias: Dean making an example of AJ here. Terri Morasco: The amount of damage being dealt without the ladder even making it into the ring. Vasco Dias: It’s going to be interesting to see how this goes. {Thaddeus hands off his tea to Harriet, looking very angry at Pax and Xavier.} Vasco Dias: Oh this will be fun. {Thaddeus hits Pax with an elbow drop. Tries to get a hold of Cross but cross gets away quickly.} Terri Morasco: Cross getting out of Thaddeus’ range. Vasco Dias: Smart plan {Pax pops up behind Thaddeus and hits him with a German Suplex. Thaddeus gripes the rope and takes the tea pot Harriet was holding and uses it to hit Pax in the head.} Vasco Dias: Oh no, the tea! Terri Morasco: I hope Pax is okay. {Xavier looks around the ring to see Dean kicking the middle rope into AJ’s throat. Xavier pauses before shaking his head and going after Dean with a Diving Chop block to the Knee.} Vasco Dias: OUCH, that had to hurt Terri Morasco: Xavier could have grabbed the ladder there but he choose to help his friend. Vasco Dias: Poor decision. {Thaddeus eye pokes Pax, causing him to take a few steps back. Thaddeus put Pax into a Headlock.} Terri Morasco: Pax in trouble here. Vasco Dias: Thaddeus isn’t going to forgive Pax for spoiling his tea. {Xavier hits Dean with a German Suplex, rolled into a belly to back wheelbarrow facebuster. Aj sits back holding his throat a second before getting up and dropping a Springboard elbow drop on Dean.} Terri Morasco: Xavier paying Dean back for what happened at Metamorphosis in January. Vasco Dias: He’s recovered. He’s fine. {Pax hits Thaddeus with a Snap Suplex. Pax locks in a ankle locke but Thaddeus hits Pax with a low bow. Pax rolls out of the ring.} Terri Morasco: Pax bouncing back from Thaddeus’ attacks here. {Dean headbutts Aj, grabs Xavier and hits him with a Snap belly-to-belly suplex out of the ring. AJ grabs Dean and Fisherman’s Dean out of the ring.} Vasco Dias: AJ Clearing the ring here. Terri Morasco: AJ was defending his friend. Vasco Dias: Or just getting shit out of the way. {Thaddeus runs up on AJ grappling him and hitting him with a Back breaker. Ulf appears outside the ring, setting up a table} Vasco Dias: Thaddeus getting his hands onto AJ! Terri Morasco: AJ has been taking a beating this match. {Pax gets up slowly and hits Dean with a Olympic Slam. Pax hits Xavier with a Powerslam.} Terri Morasco: Pax getting his hands on two competitors on the outside. Vasco Dias: making sure they are out of the way. {Thaddeus hits AJ with a LAWS OF MOTION} Vasco Dias: YES! Terri Morasco: Poor Andrew! {Ulf starts pulling out a ladder, Pax hits him with a leg sweep. Pax grabs the ladder and climbs up onto the ring. Thaddeus has AJ in the corner. Pax sets up the ladder.} Terri Morasco: What’s Ulf doing? Vasco Dias: Maybe he was planning on putting Dean through that? {Xavier hitting Dean with a Scissor Armbar. He hits him with a bicycle kick knocking Dean into the barricade. Xavier grabs him by the head and bashes him on the barricade before releasing him.} Terri Morasco: Dean and Xavier getting into things here. This has been the moment I’ve been dreading. Vasco Dias: Really? I’ve been looking forward to it. {Thaddeus seems to see the crowd pointing and see Pax climbing up the ladder. Thaddeus drops AJ and leaps onto the ladder.}
Terri Morasco: Pax is on the ladder! Vasco Dias: Thaddeus is coming up on the otherside {Dean elbows Xavier in the stomach and grabs him for a Snake Eyes towards the steel steps but AJ slibes in, bumping Xavier away from it.} Terri Morasco: AJ saved Xavier! Vasco Dias: More like got int the way. {Pax and Thaddeus find themselves both on the top of the ladder together.} Terri Morasco: Given the way the two have a history together this was bound to happen sooner or later. Vasco Dias: This can only end well. {Pax and Thaddeus start exchanging blows.} Vasco Dias: Fist fighting. Just push Pax off the ladder! Terri Morasco: They want to ensure the other one doesn’t come back is the thing. {Ulf leaps into the ring and pushes the ladder with a grunt of sound causing Thaddeus and Pax to fall off the ladder into the table on the outside. Ulf lifts his arm up, there are chants of “HOLY SHIT” and “SKAL!”} Vasco Dias: Did you see that? Ulf took out two men on his own. Terri Morasco: The crowd certainly did. {Aj hits Dean with a Gordie Howe Special. He hits Dean with a Running low dropkick to the knee.} Vasco Dias: Andrew’s just going after Dean today. Terri Morasco: Why wouldn’t he given the history? The things Dean has said about him? {Ulf starts climbing the ladder. AJ slides back into the ring.} Vasco Dias: Ulf might win this. Terri Morasco: Not if Andrew gets there first. {Ulf starts to work on getting the briefcase. AJ hits Ulf in the leg a few times but Ulf continues working. Xavier comes into the ring and starts to push the ladder. AJ sees what Xavier is doing and goes to help him. The push the ladder over leaving Ulf hanging on the briefcase.} Vasco Dias: Don’t let go Ulf. Terri Morasco: It has to be hard to unclip and hold on at the same time. {Ulf drops from the briefcase and AJ catches him into an ICE BREAKER, Xavier grabs Ulf and hits him with a THE FINAL FLAME. AJ sets up the ladder again.} Vasco Dias: Ouch. That doesn’t look good for Ulf. Terri Morasco: AJ and Ulf have been a pretty good team today. {Thaddeus get up from the table. Harriet tosses Thaddeus an umbrella who catches it with a flourish.} Vasco Dias: Where was she hiding that umbrella? Terri Morasco: I have no idea. {Xavier hits AJ with a Slingshot Complete Shot that knocking AJ into the ropes. Dean pops up from the other side and jumps from the ropes onto the ladder. Dean stops at the top and looks down at AJ and Cross fighting and Ulf getting back to his feet}
Terri Morasco: Don’t do it. Vasco Dias: DO IT! {Dean smirks before doing a SCREAMING FROM THE SKY down into the three men in the ring. The crowd loses its collective shit.} Terri Morasco: Damnit Dean. Vasco Dias: Okay but that looked amazing. Did you see that? {Pax gets up slowly. Thaddeus hits Pax in the throat with it before low blowing him. Thaddeus spins the umbrella before tossing it back to Harriet who catches it with ease. He walks up the stairs.} Terri Morasco: Poor Pax. Vasco Dias: Thaddeus does what he needs to. {AJ pushes Dean off of him and pulls himself up on the ropes. He looks to the ladder and the briefcase. He starts making his way to the ladder, climbing.}
Terri Morasco: This could be it! Andrew just has to get to the top and finish what Ulf started! Vasco Dias:Thaddeus is up though. {Thaddeus jumps into the ring and steps over the other men’s bodies making a show of it as the ref checks them. Harriet fiddles with something on the umbrella before casually touching it to the Ladder as AJ’s climbing. AJ’s body jerks and he falls off the ladder slightly limp. Dani screams at Harriet who shrugs, putting the umbrella over her shoulder. Dani launches herself at Harriet causing the two managers to fight on the outside.} Terri Morasco: Two managers fighting. I can’t say I blame Danielle but… Vasco Dias: I’m always down for a catfight on the outside. {Thaddeus poses slightly on AJ’s body before starting to climb the ladder.} Terri Morasco: Thaddeus now might not be the time. Vasco Dias: Now’s the perfect time. {The lights in the arena suddenly go wild, strobing slightly. A weird garbled message plays through the speakers that sounds slightly British, maybe Thaddeus’ own voice, before the lights go back to normal.} Terri Morasco: What was that? Vasco Dias: No idea. {Harriet hits Dani with the umbrella causing Dani to hit the ground, before springing onto the ring. She taps the ladder slightly, Thaddeus leaps back avoiding being electrocuted, rubbing his hands. Harriet grabs Thaddeus by the collar bone before launching back causing them both to hit the mat before she rolls out of the ring.} Terri Morasco: WHAT IS EVEN HAPPENING? Is that legal? Vasco Dias: It’s awesome whatever it is. That looked amazing. That’s all I care about. Clearly the ref in the blue shoes doesn’t mind it. {Xavier gets up and and kicks Dean Harper in the head. He moves back, breathing hard before hitting him with a Running Dropkick to Head, knocking him to the mat.} Terri Morasco: Xavier getting his hits in on Dean. Vasco Dias: Oh, Thaddeus posing is wasting time but hitting Harper is good? I see how you are, Terri. {Xavier then looks at the ladder. He start to climb it, just as Jason Sandman jumps the barricade, just missing Pax.}
Terri Morasco:What’s Sandman doing here? Vasco Dias: No idea? {Just as Jason stands in the ring, looking around like he’s ready to knock anyone down who tries to get up as Xavier continues to climb.} Terri Morasco: The Council reunion? Vasco Dias: Maybe? {Xavier grabs the case and starts to unclip.Suddenly Jason grabs Xavier’s legs, hitting him with a Ganzo Bomb onto the mat.} Terri Morasco: NO! Vasco Dias: Friendship is for the weak, Terri. {Jason then powerbombs Xavier out of the ring.} Terri Morasco: But why?! Vasco Dias: Who knows? {Ulf pulls himself up with effort and make a move for Jason who slips out.} Terri Morasco: Can’t believe Jason Sandman would come into the ring and cost Xavier the Joker in the pack! Vasco Dias: You don’t know he would have gotten up the ladder. {Dean stands up with a devious smirk before hitting Ulf with an Up is Down.} Terri Morasco: Dean Harper getting any excuse to hurt someone. Vasco Dias: It’s kind of his religious requirement, isn’t it? {AJ starts to move and Pax climbs back into the ring, drawing Dean’s attention. Dean bounces on the rope slightly before launching himself to the middle of the ladder and quickly getting to the top working on unclipping the briefcase.} Terri Morasco: No, No. This can’t be happening. Vasco Dias: Oh, it’s happening. {Pax and AJ both scramble to push the ladder over, getting it over just as Dean gets the case in hand. The camera follows Dean as he lands on the outside of the ring of the ruined table.} Vasco Dias: Maybe he’s knocked out and someone else can grab it? {Dean stands up, bleeding smiling holding the briefcase. “The Howling” Starts to play much to AJ and Pax’s frustration, Xavier stands up to see what has happened, looking around. Thaddeus sits up and Ulf pulls himself up from the mat.} Terri Morasco: Guess not Alison Valance: Your 2018 Joker in the Pack Winner…. DEAN HARPER! {Dean while holding the briefcase as he starts to walk up the ramp away from the other five men while laughing slightly.} Terri Morasco: I can’t imagine anyone is pleased with this result. Vasco Dias: The Pack likely is. They are likely overjoyed. {Dean stops at the top of the ramp, still bleeding, blows a kiss before the camera pans back to the ring where the rest look angrily in different states of getting ready to leave the ring.}

2-OUT-OF-3 FALLS MATCH Nighthawk vs. Jayson Matthews
----------------------------------------
Ring Announcer Alison Valance: “This next contest is scheduled for the best 2-out-of-3 falls with no time limit.”
{The somber twang of Heaven Beside You by Alice In Chains hits the P.A system. Shortly, Jayson Matthews steps onto the stage, dressed in all black and his head hidden within his hooded jacket. He shuffles to the ring. No smiles. No usual fun. Just head down.}
Alison Valance: “Introducing first, from Detroit, Michigan and weighing in at 202 pounds…. Jayson Matthews!”
{As his opponent waits in the ring the arena lights slowly fade to black as "Light of the Seven (You'll Never Leave Harlan Alive Intro)" by Srod Almenara ft. Alina Lesnik booms out over the sound system accompanied by royal-blue Roman columns of fireworks and slowly falling cherry blossom leaves. Finally standing at the top of the ring ramp Nighthawk gazes down at his opponent and takes a long deep breath before slowly removing the top knot keeping his long hair free from flowing to the middle of his back while walking to the ring slowly, his eyes never leaving his opponent and a stony gaze of absolute concentration and focus. Climbing in the ring Nighthawk slowly unzips his leather duster and hands it to a ringside attendant before going into a wrestler's crouch in the middle of the ring.}
Alison Valance: “And his opponent, from Chicago, Illinois and weighing in at 185 pounds…. ‘The American Samurai’ and ‘The Master of 1000 Holds’…. ‘The Wrestling Machine’ Nighthawk!”
Terri Morasco: “And in a match that is more about emotion and friendship than anything else on the card tonight, Nighthawk tries again to save his friend Jayson Matthews and this time looks to do it in a 2-out-of-3 falls match.”
Vasco Dias: “As much as any wrestler in the IWF has a pet match, Nighthawk’s is the 2-out-of-3 falls match. His strategy for it is usually sharp and perfect. But can he be that level of a thinker against someone he considers not just a friend, but like an actual brother?”
{As the referee checks both men for foreign objects Nighthawk offers his hand to his former student Jayson Matthews, Nighthawk offers a handshake to his student only for Jayson to swat it away and shake his head in disgust. Signaling for the referee to ring the bell Nighthawk immediately goes for a lockup which Jayson quickly uses his weight advantage to turn it into a standing switch which he uses to hit a tight waistlock slam right into a front facelock. Ignoring the boos of the sold-out crowd Jayson tries to hook in the facelock only for Nighthawk to smoothly escape all the way out right into a hammerlock and then stands to his feet while keeping the hammerlock applied, only for Jayson to try a snapmare which he is able to get and hold onto before trying to hook in a reverse chinlock. Checking in to see if he wants to submit the referee is waved away by Nighthawk who quickly rocks on his buttocks towards the center of the ring before crossing his legs together and wiggling his hand in front of the face of Jayson Matthews who quickly takes the hand only to find himself trapped in a wristlock before Nighthawk hits a quick armdrag and then rolls that over into a crucifix pin attempt that gets a quick 2-count. Checking for a moment to see if he actually got a two-count the “American Samurai” walks right into a flying headscissors from Jayson Matthews, who quickly turns it into a more traditional headscissors as he tries to slow the pace down and use his strength and weight advantage to control things. Shaking his finger no when the referee comes over to see if he wants to surrender the 1st fall Nighthawk now begins to work on escaping the headscissors, rocking side-to-side until he distracts Jayson enough to simply remove himself from the hold and then using that as an opening to float through into a prawn hold for a quick 2-count. Swinging wildly in frustration when he returns to his feet Jayson finds himself quickly hooked in an elevated wristlock commonly referred to in Europe as the Jim Breaks Special, which causes him to scream in pain before finally being able to reach out with his free hand and grab on to the ropes to force a break of the hold. Dropping to the ring apron and then the floor, stretching out his arm from the work that was already done on it, Jayson carefully steps back into the ring while drinking from a bottle of water left in a cooler at ringside. Shaking out his arm Jayson goes back for a lockup and quickly transitions right into a second waistlock before transitioning it into a Stretch Plum as he looks to try and draw a submission while also working on weakening the world-famous gas tank of the “Wrestling Machine”. Shaking his fingers no when the referee comes over to see if he wants to quit Nighthawk now begins to work on escaping the hold that his former student has him in, pushing up with his hands to loosen the facelock portion of the hold which he is finally able to do before quickly hooking in a flash triangle armbar as he tries to get a submission and continues to put more work in on the arm. Scrambling to the ropes to escape the triangle armbar the Detroiter takes a minute to check his arm as the “Master of 1000 Holds” stays in the middle of the ring and keeps his eyes on his former student as the sold-out crowd roars their approval.}
Terri Morasco: “Vasco, I want to ask you a question and see if you agree with me. In this 1st fall, am I right in thinking Jayson Matthews is trying to out-Nighthawk Nighthawk? He could have wrestled this match any number of ways but I think he’s trying to prove a distinct point here.”
Vasco Dias: “I think you’re right, Terri. The trouble with that, though, is that Nighthawk knows exactly how much he can push himself for each and every one of these falls. And we haven’t seen Jayson Matthews since their last match at OFN. We have no idea what his conditioning is like. If you’re rooting for Jayson Matthews to win, you have to hope he’s kept in shape since then.”
{Stepping back into the ring carefully, trying to guard his arm from attack, Jayson again goes for a lockup only for Nighthawk to execute a standing switch right into a hammerlock as he continues to go to work on the arm while keeping his head back so that Jayson can’t go for a snapmare counter. Getting desperate Jayson reaches down to go for a trip only for Nighthawk to see that coming and release the hammerlock and instead lock in a standing surfboard, quickly going for a backslide that gets a quick 2-count before keeping the arms trapped and sliding through into an Arms Across America attempt as Jayson finally is able to get a toe on the ropes to force a break of the hold. Stepping back in carefully on the referee’s count of 8 Jayson goes for a lockup and again does a standing switch right into a standing Japanese stranglehold, which he turns into a seated version of the same hold and then turns it into a particularly ugly surfboard variant as the sold-out crowd winces in pain while chanting “Let’s go Nighthawk” with increasing ferocity. Continuing to shake his head no when asked if he wants to quit the “Wrestling Machine” rocks forward to get himself out of the surfboard position before standing up to his feet and smoothly wriggling out like someone charming a snake which allows him the opening to hook in a textbook small package for the three-count which allows him to take the 1st fall.}
Alison Valance: “The winner of the 1st fall…. ‘The Wrestling Machine’ Nighthawk!”
Terri Morasco: “And in a 1st fall that he largely controlled Nighthawk is able to hook in a perfect small package as the match was wrestled at his pace. If Jayson Matthews wants to even this up, Vasco, what does he need to do?”
Vasco Dias: “Simply put, Jayson Matthews needs to turn this into a sprint. He has to try and up the pace and try and create some chaos. Because if everything is slow and deliberate, it’s going to create real problems for him in the 2nd fall.”
{As the referee rings the bell to start the 2nd fall Nighthawk flips his long hair out of his face as a fuming Jayson Matthews sits cross-legged on the mat, seemingly disbelieving that he fell into the trap of his teacher. Pulling himself up to his feet with one arm, his left arm hanging limply at his side, Jayson rears back and slaps Nighthawk across the face with his right hand which the Chicagoan responds to by simply grabbing the left arm and hitting a lungblower on it followed by a wraparound armdrag which sends the Detroiter through the middle ropes to the floor. Following him out Nighthawk hits a quick tope suicida that drives Jayson all the way to the guardrail before coming back in and hitting another tope suicida that lands with much the same effect. Going for his 3rd consecutive tope suicida Nighthawk has to course correct and lands on the apron when Jayson slides back in the ring at the last moment, holding onto the ropes for just long enough that Jayson can get a sliding one-footed dropkick through the top and middle rope followed by throwing him violently against the guardrail before getting a half-mad glint in his eyes and sliding back in the ring. Measuring his former teacher with the focus of an assassin Jayson waits until the “American Samurai” rises to his feet and then plasters him with a gorgeous tope suicida to the back that sends Nighthawk flying head-first into the guardrail. Going out to meet him and roll him back in the ring Jayson then signals to the crowd that it’s over before going for a leaping DDT as he shakes out his left arm. Heading to the ring apron, basking in the boos and general hatred of the crowd, Jayson flies in with a gorgeous corkscrew splash followed by a slingshot quebrada moonsault but steadfastly refuses to make a cover and instead lands a short jumping knee to the chest. Seemingly more interested in beating his man up then making a cover Jayson pulls Nighthawk to all fours and lands a hard basement dropkick to the forehead, followed by a massive jumping senton across the back before mockingly hooking in a seated bridging facelock as he mockingly yells out “Hangman’s Clutch”. Screaming no when the referee asks him if he wants to submit even as pain courses through his body Nighthawk tries to crawl towards the ropes while the facelock does its work, finally grabbing the ropes as the sold-out crowd roars in approval. Shaking out his left arm Jayson throws Nighthawk through the middle ropes where he lands on the ring apron. Getting a crazed glint in his eyes Jayson leaves the ring and grapevines both of the legs of the “Wrestling Machine” around the ring post before simply landing a barrage of superior football kicks to the head of Nighthawk, until the referee backs him away and checks to see if the Chicagoan can continue. Getting a nod in the affirmative that he can continue Jayson simply tosses Nighthawk to the floor like useless garbage and demands the referee begin his count, continually shaking out his left arm. Crawling back into the ring on the count of 9, quite obviously out of it, the “Master of 1000 Holds” crumples against the ropes.}
Terri Morasco: “And, in stark contrast to the 1st fall, Jayson Matthews is completely in control here but has not, to my shock, gone for a single pin. It seems like he’s trying to prove a point here, but considering he’s already down a fall, the prudence of that strategy can be called into question.”
Vasco Dias: “If I was trying to figure it out, Terri, I think Jayson Matthews is trying to grind Nighthawk down for the 3rd fall. He’s going to put as much of a beating on him as he is able to, so that when the 3rd fall comes around, he doesn’t have the same gas in the tank as normal.”
{But as Nighthawk pulls himself up to his feet Jayson is there to meet him with an insulting slap across the face followed by a leg lariat, and then a powerdrive elbow to the pit of the stomach before finally going for the first cover of the match which gets a 2-count as Nighthawk is able to kick out albeit not without a lot of force. Dragging him into the center of the ring Jayson lands a short European uppercut before whipping him into the corner and then following him in with a pair of running double knees to the chest, followed by an outside-in enzuigiri that crumples the Chicagoan in the corner where he is it with a slingshot outside-in dropkick to the chest. Smirking as the “American Samurai” tries to pull himself up to his feet, guided there by the sold-out crowd at Sam Boyd Arena, Jayson hits a hard kneelift to the lower abdomen followed by a gorgeous folding powerbomb before fuming in rage as Nighthawk kicks out at 2 a second time. Insultingly landing a short kick to the forehead as he tries to crawl to his feet Jayson Matthews then holds Nighthawk by his long cherry bomb-red hair before firing a rapid-fire flurry of short-range kicks to the forehead again as he seems intent on putting as much punishment on his former teacher in the 2nd fall as he possibly can. Picking the “Wrestling Machine” up by his hair and literally dragging him to the nearest corner Jayson then picks him up and places him on the 2nd turnbuckle before hitting a 2nd-turnbuckle ace crusher before locking in an STF as he again tries to draw out a submission. Screaming out in pain, clawing his way on the mat towards the ropes, Nighthawk finally reaches the ropes before collapsing on the bottom strand utterly exhausted from the effort as Jayson fumes and yells at the referee that it was clearly a submission. Turning around the Detroiter is greeted by a groggy but nonetheless standing Nighthawk who uses his last bit of energy to land a massive running palm strike right to the jaw before both men collapse to the mat exhausted as the referee begins his count slowly and deliberately, not wanting to see the 2nd fall end in a double countout.}
Terri Morasco: “Already up one fall, Nighthawk appears to have weathered the Jayson Matthews storm and come back fighting. Can he close this match out and do the very rare thing of winning a 2-out-of-3 falls match in 2 straight falls?”
Vasco Dias: “Interesting thing here. If both men can’t answer the 10-count Nighthawk wins by 2 falls to one. If Jayson wants to stay in this match, he has to get up quickly.”
{Pulling himself up to his feet slowly by the count of 9 Nighthawk waits for Jayson to get to his feet before hitting him with a gorgeous bridging Northern Lights suplex that gets a long 2-count, quickly following that up with a ground zero moonsault for another 2-count. Seeing his opening Nighthawk heads to the outside and goes up to the top turnbuckle where he is able to hit a gorgeous frog-splash elbow right into the pit of the stomach before covering and getting yet another 2-count as the Sam Boyd Arena rocks with chants of “Let’s go Nighthawk”. Heading out to the ring apron, signaling for a springboard frankensteiner, Nighthawk is instead caught by a recovering Jayson Matthews who bullets through the middle rope with a spear that sends both men crashing into the guardrail, the Chicagoan clearly taking the worst of the blow. Looking down at his former student with menace and evil in his eyes Jayson drags the “American Samurai” to the ring apron before heading to the top rope and landing a double stomp directly on his face and upper chest. Rolling him into the ring Jayson covers with a foot on the chest and gets the 3-count to tie the match up at one fall a piece.}
Alison Valance: “The winner of the 2nd fall, tying the match up at 1 fall a piece, Jayson Matthews.”
{As the referee checks Nighthawk to see if he is able to continue Jayson runs over and pushes the referee aside before pulling Nighthawk up to his knees and landing a quartet of kicks to the chest followed by a closed-fist baseball punch to the back of the head which causes Nighthawk to slump over in a seated position as Jayson walks back to a neutral corner, demanding that the referee stop the match because Nighthawk is quite obviously unable to continue. But as soon as the referee steps over to see if the Chicagoan is able to continue he rises up like Lazarus and glares a hole through Jayson Matthews, clearly infuriated with how far his former student has chosen to take this before striding to meet him only to be caught with a Jayson Matthews Experience which doesn’t immediately take Nighthawk down before following up with a backdrop driver. Covering cockily Jayson is stunned when the “American Samurai” forcefully kicks out at 1 as the crowd roars their approval for this comeback and arises somehow even angrier than before. Backing Jayson up into the corner with a barrage of flesh-searing knife-edge chops Nighthawk steps back a bit and runs in with a hard European uppercut, waiting as Jayson staggers out of the corner before hitting a gorgeous bridging dragon suplex for a long 2-count. Heading up to the top turnbuckle Nighthawk goes for a gorgeous shooting star press only to land on the knees of Jayson Matthews, gasping for air as Jayson quickly pounces on the opening with a brainbuster. Covering quickly, hooking both legs just to be on the safe side of things, Jayson yells at the referee when Nighthawk somehow kicks out at 2. Screaming wordlessly Jayson steps back and measures the “Wrestling Machine” for the BananaRama only for Nighthawk to see it coming and duck, causing Jayson to fly over the top rope all the way to the floor. Getting a head of steam Nighthawk blasts Jayson with a tope con hilo that sends him over the guardrail and into the 3rd row of the crowd. Quickly climbing back into the ring to break the referee’s count Nighthawk takes a quick glance at where his former student is before leaping into the crowd after him with a diving springboard tope con hilo. Letting out a war cry, stepping over chairs as he tosses Jayson Matthews over the guardrail back into the ring, Nighthawk goes for a springboard hurricanrana only to be caught out of the air and hit with a buckle bomb right into a massive Michinoku Driver that gets another 2-count. Throwing a miniature temper tantrum Jayson again whips Nighthawk into the corner.}
{But as Jayson runs in after him, Nighthawk moves out of the way at the last minute as Jayson lands hard against the turnbuckle. Going for a monkey-flip out of the corner Nighthawk instead finds himself hit with another buckle bomb followed by three consecutive backdrop drivers. Hooking both legs, as well as grabbing a handful of tights, Jayson exhales loudly when the referee finally counts 3.}
Alison Valance: “The winner of the match….. 2 falls to one….. Jayson Matthews!”
----------------------------------------
IN RING SEGMENT The Fall Out
----------------------------------------
{As Nighthawk stands up, he takes a moment to catch his breath before pulling Jayson up to his feet and embracing his former student. Asking for a microphone from Alison Valance, Jayson hugs his former teacher.}
Jayson: “I know you didn’t want to do this. I know I forced your hand, and I know you only did it to save me. But I really do consider it an honor to have had this match with you. Now, please, I need your help. I need you to save me from Angel. You’ve always been like a father to me, and I need your help now.”
{Nighthawk, wiping tears out of his eyes}
Nighthawk: “Of course, Jayson. Of course I will.”
Jayson: “Before we go, Nighthawk, one more thing.”
{And then Jayson hauls off and kicks Nighthawk directly in the groin.}
Jayson: “What happened was God’s will.”

IWF STRONG STYLE CHAMPIONSHIP Mike Laszlo vs. Bob Pooler(c) Special referee Dean Harper
----------------------------------------
Alison Valance: Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is for the STRONG STYLE CHAMPIONSHIP!
Vasco Dias: This should be good.
Terri Morasco: These two entered the Tag Team Tournament together, and they had a nice thing going until Mike decided to leave his partner high and dry.
Vasco Dias: Oh please, we all saw that coming a mile away...except for Bob.
{"Cult of Personality" by Living Colour hits the sound system, Mike Laszlo walking out onto the stage, followed by Alexis Caffrey, to an abundance of cheers from the crowd. Surveying those who cheer, a grin comes over his face as he heads for the ring with a confident walk, Alexis by his side holding his other hand.}
Alison Valance: Making his way to the ring, accompanied to the ring by Alexis Caffrey, from Cleveland, Ohio, weighing 237 pounds…MIIIIKE LASZLOOOOO!
{The two get to the end of the ramp before Mike lifts Alexis onto the apron. She enters the ring as Mike rolls in under the bottom rope. He climbs the outside ropes to the top rope in the corner nearest the entrance ramp and poses for the crowd amassing a magnitude of cheers. He jumps down and goes to the opposite corner and does the same, garnering the same reaction. With a sly grin on his face he jumps down and backs into the corner, clasping his hands together and twirling his wrists as he gets ready for the match.}
Terri Morasco: He said he’d do whatever it took to get here. That apparently meant double crossing Bob. He’s here now, and if he doesn’t win the Strong Style Championship, it’ll all be for nothing.
Vasco Dias: Then it’s a good thing he’s going to win huh?
{The lights in the arena suddenly turn out, plunging the fans into darkness. Little by little, small beacons of light begins to pop up as the fans raise their lit cellphone aloft as the #WWIDN appears on the Jumbotron in bright red and the opening drumbeat of “Red Fraction” begins to play. Amidst a shower of phone flashes, Pooler steps out from behind the curtain as the song begins to pick up. Shielding his eyes with his left hand, he points to the nosebleed sections with his right before making his way to the edge of the ramp.}
Alison Valance: Making his way to the ring; from Manchester, New Hampshire; weighing in at two hundred and twenty-eight pounds … Bob … POOOOOLER!
{Pooler heads down the ramp, breaking into a run and sliding into the ring beneath the bottom rope. He pops back to his feet and heads to the nearest corner and climbs to the second turnbuckle and throws his arms into the air to the roar of the crowd. He drops back down to the ring and grabs hold of the ropes, tugging down on them and taking a moment to stretch before the match can begin.}
Terri Morasco: Bob is a fighting champion, willing to put that title on the line against anyone who crosses his path.
Vasco Dias: Then why did he duck Laszlo a couple weeks ago at Open Fight Night?
Terri Morasco: He was giving him a taste of his own medicine.
Vasco Dias: Please! He was scared and the world over knows it.
{Bob hands the title over to the special referee Dean Harper who holds it high overhead. The two men look up at the belt, and then back down at one another. Dean hands the belt over to the time keeper, and then has him ring the bell and we’re underway with the two men locking up in the center of the ring. It’s a test of strength sort to speak as both jockey for an advantage, twisting and turning into the corner, Mike pushing Bob into the top turnbuckle before hauling off and slapping him in the face.}
Terri Morasco: Wow...really?
Vasco Dias: I love the new attitude, or is it the old attitude? I’m confused.
{Mike laughs at Bob who in the snap of a set of fingers, whips his head toward Mike and charges forward, taking him down with a double leg takedown before unloading with rights and lefts on the challenger who isn’t laughing anymore. Bob is finally shoved off as Mike tries to get to his feet, but Bob comes right back in, charging forward, grabbing hold of Mike and driving him into the mat with an STO. He’s quick to cover, but only gets a two count from Harper before Mike gets his shoulder off the canvas.}
Terri Morasco: That slap woke something up in Bob.
Vasco Dias: A meanstreak to say the least. If Mike weathers the emotional storm though, he should be okay.
{Bob wastes no time as Alexis smacks on the mat to try and encourage her husband. Bob pulls Mike in, lifting him onto his shoulders and hitting him with a Fireman’s Carry into a Double Knee Gutbuster, driving the air out of Mike as he bounces off of Bob’s knees, landing on his back, clutching at his midsection. Bob scrambles into a cover but again only gets a two count.}
Terri Morasco: Bob has come out on fire, and this aggressive side may prove to be the difference between retaining his title and losing it!
Vasco Dias: What’s he doing!?
{Bob waits for Laszlo to get to his feet. He does so with the aid of the ropes, stumbling, turning toward the center of the ring where Bob charges, perhaps looking to end this whole thing with a High Velocity Spear! He charges forward and CATCHES A KICK TO THE FACE AND SHOULDER that stands him up straight! He’s then doubled back over by a spin kick to the stomach. Mike then runs to the ropes and comes back, planting his knee into the side of Bob’s head.}
Vasco Dias: SHOT OF MALICE!
Terri Morasco: He’s going for the cover!
{Mike hooks the leg after his patented maneuver, ONE! TWO! NO! Pooler gets the shoulder off the mat, keeping his title reign alive for at least a few more minutes. Mike glances over at Dean who signals two. He motions three and then slaps his hands together quickly, indicating he would like a faster count. He turns back to Bob and pulls him to his feet by the hair. He pulls him in and lifts him up in a Vertical Suplex position, but Bob is able to counter with a knee to the crown of Mike’s head. Mike, stunned, loosens his grip and Bob rotates and falls behind the challenger, grabbing him and executing a Russian Leg Sweep! Bob then kips up, exciting the crowd as he eggs them on.}
Terri Morasco: Bob is feeling the energy from this capacity crowd Vasco!
Vasco Dias: This doesn’t look good for Mike.
{Bob turns and sees Mike on his knees, trying to catch a breath, but he decides to drive it out of him with a stiff kick to the chest, followed by another, and then another!}
Terri Morasco: There’s a reason he’s the Strong Style Champion!
{He then looks as if he’s going to haul off and kick Mike’s head into the front row, but he stops as Mike braces, grabs him by the head, and plants him with a DDT in the center of the ring, hooking the leg for another cover attempt…
ONE!
TWO!
THR...NOOOO!}
Terri Morasco: I don’t know how he kicked out of that.
Vasco Dias: Mike knows what this moment is for himself. He knows this is Night of the Immortals, and he knows what’s on the line!
Terri Morasco: Nobody ever questioned his resiliency...just his tactics!
{Bob can’t believe it and takes a deep breath before pulling Mike to his feet, pushing him back into the corner. He lifts Mike up onto the top turnbuckle.}
Terri Morasco: What’s Bob doing here?
Vasco Dias: He wants to keep that championship around his waist.
{Bob climbs to the second ropes and throws Mike’s arm over his head, looking for what looks to be a Superplex, but the challenger blocks, a few shots to the midsection, followed by a headbutt that stuns the champion. Mike then grabs Bob by the head, both men in a precarious position. He lifts him up and DRIVES HIS HEAD INTO THE TURNBUCKLE WITH A TOP ROPE BRAINBUSTER!
The crowd chants “Holy Shit” as Bob collapses to the mat as Mike falls to his own knees.}
Terri Morasco: He could have killed him with that move!
Vasco Dias: He’s said all along Terri, “Whatever it takes!”.
{Mike takes a second to regain his composure, turning toward Bob who is breathing heavy, but other than that, hasn’t really moved. He pulls him away from the corner and Dean drops down for the count, ONE! TWO! THREENOOOOOOOOOOOO!}
Vasco Dias: WHAT THE HELL!?
Terri Morasco: I don’t know how, but Bob Pooler just kicked out of that top rope Brainbuster!
Vasco Dias: I can’t believe it.
Terri Morasco: And neither can Mike in the ring! He’s yelling at Dean!
{Mike is blowing a gasket, with his frustration aimed at Dean who seems unphased, and actually smiles as he holds up two fingers. Mike continues yelling until he’s grabbed from behind and rolled up. Dean pounces into counting position, but Bob only gets a two on the surprise roll up.}
Vasco Dias: Look at Bob taking advantage of the distraction.
Terri Morasco: Yeah, because Mike wouldn’t have done that?
{Both men get to their feet and apparently have the same idea as they level one another with Clotheslines in the center of the ring.}
Terri Morasco: Great minds think alike?
Vasco Dias: Seems that way. Those shots were hard and fast, and now we seem to be at a standstill.
{Both men roll to their stomachs and start crawling toward the ropes. They’re up at the same time and stumble toward one another in the center of the ring where Mike hits Bob with a right hand that results in boos from the crowd. Bob takes a stepback, but it’s only to gather himself as he fires back, backed by the cheers of those in attendance.
BOO!
YEEAH!
BOO!
YEEAH!
BOO!
YEEAH!
YEEAH! YEEAH!
Bob’s gaining momentum before Mike plants a knee right in his gut, doubling him over again. Mike charges the ropes, again looking for the “Shot of Malice”, but this time Bob stands up straight, grabs Mike from behind, spins him around and up on his shoulders!}
Terri Morasco: He’s got him up!
Vasco Dias: Not good!
{Bob spins Mike around, but Mike grabs hold of his head, driving Bob into the mat with a Cutter!}
Vasco Dias: WHAT A REVERSAL!
Terri Morasco: These two know one another so well. Now Mike’s going for the cover!
{Mike throws his arm over Bob…
ONE!
TWO!
THRENOOOOOOOOOO!}
Terri Morasco: These two have got to be exhausted, throwing everything they have at one another!
Vasco Dias: I don’t know how he did it.
{Mike rolls onto his back in exhaustion, and perhaps perplexion, not knowing what he needs to do to put Bob away. He rolls to his stomach and smacks the mat with both hands in frustration. He grabs hold of Bob, both getting to their feet. He sets him up and lifts him up for the “No Mercy”! He lifts Bob up, and Bob lands on his feet, and before Mike can finish the move, Bob breaks free and shoves Mike as hard as he can forward, chest first into the turnbuckle. Bob follows in, driving his knees into Mike’s back before falling back into a Lungblower Backbreaker!}
Terri Morasco: Reverse Imperious Rex!
Vasco Dias: Pulling out all the tricks here tonight!
{As Mike bounces off of his knees, Bob grabs his legs and stacks him up for a pin attempt…
ONE!
TWO!
THRMIKE KICKS OUT!
The momentum carries Bob back into the turnbuckle. He stumbles out though, grabbing Mike by the legs and somersaulting over him for another pin attempt, but again only gets a two before Mike bridges out of it, rotating around into a backslide that only gets a two itself! In the kickout, Pooler rolls through, and as Mike gets to his feet, Pooler lunges forward.}
Terri Morasco: HIGH VELOCITY HUG!
Vasco Dias: Where the hell did that come from?
{Pooler grabs Mike by the knee pad and hooks the leg.
ONE!
TWO!
THREE!
Dean jumps up at the last second and points at Mike’s foot on the bottom rope! Pooler looks over and is clearly in disbelief!}
Terri Morasco: This one would have been over if he was a few inches further from the ropes!
Vasco Dias: But it’s not because of the great ring awareness of Mike Laszlo!
{Bob can’t believe it as he sits up. He gets to his feet and grabs Mike by the head and pulls him up, only for Mike to fall back, grabbing hold of Bob, pulling him shoulder first into Dean’s midsection! Dean is turned if only for a few seconds, as Bob stumbles, and Mike swings up, connecting with a LOW BLOW!}
Terri Morasco: NO!
Vasco Dias: Whatever it takes!
{Bob is doubled over, clutching his groin, and as Dean turns back around, Mike has Bob underhooked, lifts him in the air, and hits him with the “Welcome to the CLE” Backbreaker! Bob rolls off in the center of the ring and Mike hooks both of his legs.
ONE!
TWO!
THREEENOOOOOOOO!}
Vasco Dias: How the…
Terri Morasco: The cheating doesn’t work in Mike’s favor! The resiliency of the champion wins out!
{Mike is beside himself in the ring. He gets up and kicks at the bottom rope. He turns, looking at Bob, seething through his teeth. He throws his hands out to the side as if to say “That’s it!”. He pulls his knee pad down, and grabs hold of Bob. He lifts him in the air, on his shoulders, looking for the Malicious Intent, but somehow, Bob realizes where he is and he locks his legs around the top rope. Mike can’t pull him forward, and Bob starts swinging wildly with an elbow, finally connecting with Mike’s temple allowing him to slide down his back. Mike stumbles around in a circle, turning back into Bob who lifts him up and plants him in the center of the ring!}
Terri Morasco: PEPTO BISMOL RED IN THE CENTER OF THE RING!
Vasco Dias: Damn it!
{Bob hooks the leg...Dean counts…
ONE!
TWO!
THREE!
The bell rings.}
Alison Valance: Ladies and gentlemen, your winner...AND STILLLL IWF STRONG STYLE CHAMPION...THE...BOB...POOOOOOLER!
{Bob is handed his title and he slowly gets to his feet, raising it high above his head as the crowd cheers him on!}
Terri Morasco: Great win for Bob against a challenger who brought every trick he had up his sleeve!
Vasco Dias: I gotta give him some credit. There were points when I thought it was over, and he showed resiliency and fought through it all.
Terri Morasco: Bob Pooler is STILL your Strong Style Champion!
{Bob continues to celebrate as we cut to a commercial about the newest IWF Action Figures!}
---------------------------------------- IN RING SEGMENT Rayne's Announcement ----------------------------------------
{ The arena lights go yellow as "Welcome to the Gun Show" by In This Moment hits the pa. Long time fans recognize the song. }
Vasco Dias: This is the entrance music Rayne used when she debuted in NCW?
{ Rayne steps out through the curtain in her ring gear as the crowd goes nuts for her. }
Terri Morasco: Looks like she changed her music back?
{ Rayne stands on the ramp for a minute with her hands on her hips as the crowd cheers. Finally she makes her way toward the ring but takes time to slap hands of anyone and everyone who reaches out for her. Finally she reaches the ring and just takes a moment to look at it before marching up the ring steps and climbing in. As Rayne walks to the center of the ring the fans continue to chant. }
Vasco Dias: What do you think Rayne is doing out here, Terri?
Terri Morasco: I'm not sure but she clearly has something to say.
{ Rayne takes the mic from Alison Valance. }
Rayne: Tonight is the biggest night of the year. It's Night of the Immortals!!!
{ The crowd roars. }
Rayne: I wanted to be on this card more than anything. In fact I had planned to challenge my once best friend and sometimes Crystal Millar to a match...
{ She pauses. }
Rayne: But...
{ She looks around, a little choked up. }
Rayne: A few weeks ago I was given some bad news...
{ Rayne just looks down. }
Rayne: I took a hard bump in my last match... I've taken a lot of hard bumps...
{ The crowd is chanting NO! }
Rayne: And they wouldn't clear me to compete... For the last three weeks I've been doing everything to get the okay to step into this ring. Hell, Verona told me if I was cleared I was guaranteed a match... But I wasn't...
{ The no chants rise as a tear runs down the cheek of Rayne. }
Rayne: Basically... Jesus fuck...
{ She breaks down as more tears start to roll. }
Rayne: Basically I need neck surgery...
{ Her hands drop as the crowd chants no. }
Rayne: And the doctors... They gave me a choice... I could ignore them, put off the surgery and maybe have a couple more matches... And maybe never walk again... Or I could have the surgery... Retire... And live to walk my son down the isle one day... So...
{ The crowd begins a thank you Rayne chant. }
Rayne: So it is with a heavy heart that I have to... I have to announce... My retirement.
{ The crowd is on their feet clapping and screaming thank you Rayne. }
Rayne: But I will not go into that good night! This will not be the end of my legacy! There will be women after me, women who I have trained to make sure this division never rests on its laurels! To make sure the IWF Womens Division continues to be the most exciting and action packed division in the entire world!
{ The crowd pops for Rayne hard! }
Rayne: My fight isn't over. This revolution isn't over. It's only just getting started!
{ Rayne throws the mic down and raises her hands as the crowd cheers for her. }
Terri Morasco: Devastating news. Rayne, one of the most decorated and longest lasting talents in the industry today announces her retirement!
Vasco Dias: But she also announced that she will help to train the next generation. I think that can only mean good things for the women's division in IWF.
Terri Morasco: Absolutely. I couldn't agree more. Rayne has a lasting legacy, one I think we are going to see live for a long time after tonight.
{ Rayne leaves the ring to greet all of the fans at ring side, one after the other as her music plays for the last time in an IWF arena. }

IWF OPEN WEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
Vivienne Rodgers (c) vs. Helena Sweyer
----------------------------------------
Alison Valance: The Following contest is scheduled for one fall for the IWF Open Weight Championship!
Terri Morasco: Here we are, the end of the long road setup by management to get to the Night of the Immortals match to face off for the Open Weight belt. There were two different ladder matches and a match off last week to get here.
Vasco Dias: Many women wanted this spot but it went to the returning Helena Sawyer.
Alison Valance: Coming down to the ring, standing at 5;7’’, weighing in at 151 pounds, Helena Sawyer!
{The lights dim, and a series of twinkling blue lights begin to shine at the mouth of the entrance ramp as the intro of “Blue” by The Birthday Massacre begins to play. As the crashing guitars kick in, the stage is bathed in flickering blue lights, and Helena Sawyer slowly walks out onto the stage, a lopsided grin on her face. She walks down the ramp, wearing a twisted smirk on her face. As she passes by the camera at the foot of the ramp, she snaps her jaws at the cameraman, giggling as she walks on and hops up onto the apron. Helena looks up at the ceiling, grinning ecstatically, and turns to face the crowd, hooking both arms on the top rope and throwing her body back with a piercing scream that turns into a giggle. She kicks herself backwards, flipping over the top rope, and back-rolls into a kneeling crouch, staring at the ramp for a few moments before standing and slinking to a corner. She looks up at the ceiling as the music fades, mouthing frantic words to herself as the lights come back up to normal.}
Terri Morasco: Helena battled against Hall of Famer Alexis Caffery last week to get here. She battled against some of the top women in this company. How do you think this is going to go?
Vasco Dias: Helena has faced top women of this company in the past. She’s survived the likes of Rowan and Eternity. The little fluff ball Vivienne isn’t going to even slow her down.
{The opening trumpets to Confident by Demi Lovato begin to play as the lights in the ring drop, leaving gold and green spotlights on the stage and ramp. The lights in the arena pulse with similar colors as the bass kicks in. Vivienne herself does not appear until the lyrics begin in Earnest, walking on from backstage.}
Alison Valance: And making her way down to the ring, standing at 5’7’’ and weighing in at 140 pounds, she is the reigning and defending IWF Open Weight Champion, Vivienne Rodgers!
{Vivienne grins confidently as she raises a fist into the air on stage, holding the pose for a few seconds before stepping toward the ring, throwing a few punches and a kick as she begins to walk. She jumps up onto the apron, walking alongside the outer part of the ring before going in over the top rope, interacting with the crowd as she circles the inside of the ring. She takes to the center of the ring as the chorus plays, raising her fists into the air before Vivienne settles into her corner.}
Terri Morasco: Vivienne Rodgers has defeated some pretty impressive women herself.
Vasco Dias: But not Rowan. Not Maxine. Not anyone who goes to the dark and bloody places. That’s always been her weak spot.
Terri Morasco: I think that’s kind of everyone’s weak spot to be fair.
{The Ref takes the belt from Viv and walks it over to Helena to take a look at. Helena traces a finger over it slowly. The Ref holds the belt up in the air so everyone can see it before the bell rings to begin the match}
Vasco Dias: That’s not creepy at all.
{As Viv waves at Helena who waves back. The two walk to the center of the ring before going into a grapple. Viv pushes Helena into the ropes, clearly trying to get her to let go so Viv can get a better grapple. Helena smiles before headbutting Viv.}
Vasco Dias: The match already has a good start.
Terri Morasco: That had to hurt.
{Viv falls back slightly. Helena doesn’t let her get far, she grabs Viv and short-arm knee strikes her to the gut a couple of times.}
Terri Morasco: Helena is taking the match up a notch in speed. Viv is barely getting a moment to breathe
Vasco Dias: Why should she? This isn’t against someone nice. This is against Helena!
{ Helena goes for a Side slam backbreaker, hitting Viv again to the mat. Viv tries to counter but Helena hits her with a closed fist knocking her down. She stalks over and kicks Viv in the side.Viv rolls away and uses the ropes to stand up.}
Terri Morasco: Helena is dominating this.
{Helena hits Viv with a Feral Lobotomy. Viv lays on the mat, dazed. Helena goes for the pin.
1 2 KICK OUT!}
Terri Morasco: That was close
Vasco Dias: It was. We might have a new champion tonight.
Terri Morasco: Helena certainly made some promises.
{Viv cracks her neck slightly glaring at Helena. Helena hits her with a Butterfly suplex.}
Vasco Dias: Helena wants you to stay down. Viv.
{Vivs pops up. She looks at Helena who waves.}
Terri Morasco: I’m not sure I like that wave.
{Helena goes for another suplex but Viv hits her with a chokeslam. Viv waits for a beat for Helena to get back up before grappling her into a powerslam.}
Vasco Dias: Good defense from Viv but her nice girl tactics might not work here.
Terri Morasco: Helena had gone harder, you’re right.
Vasco Dias: Viv needs to get her game face on here.
{Viv goes for a Slumber Party of repeated powerbombs before attempting the pin. 1 KICKOUT!}
Vasco Dias: It’s going to take more than that to put Helena away.
{Viv grabs Helena’s legs and goes into a sharpshooter.}
Terri Morasco: This isn’t a move Vivienne’s pulled out very often
Vasco Dias: Desperate times.
{As Viv is setting the pressure in, Helena arches slightly, gritting through the pain to touch the rope with a finger tip. The ref lets Viv know and she has to let go.}
Terri Morasco: That looked painful
Vasco Dias: You know how Helena is. She likes pain just as much as the other goth girls in this division.
{Viv waits for Helena to recover, Helena jumps back up with a Flapjack throat-first across the top rope causing Viv to hit the mat hard.}
Terri Morasco: Ouch! That looks painful.
{Viv clutches her throat and rolls. Helena grabs Viv and Rib breaker lifted but Viv hits Helena in the head to drops down, Helena tries to grab Viv but she darts around to a Backslide Driver. Helena lands slight on her elbows.}
Vasco Dias: Isn’t that one of Cross’ moves?
Terri Morasco: It might be?
{Viv grabs Helena into a belly to back suplex followed by a swinging backbreaker.}
Terri Morasco: Vivienne is clearly thinking the big impact moves will keep Helena from being able to counter.
Vasco Dias: I imagine the drop on her elbows doesn’t hurt either.
{Viv goes with a German Suplex bridged into a pin attempt 1 2 KICK OUT!}
Vasco Dias: Not going to take Helena out that easily.
{Viv gives Helena a moment to breathe before hitting her with a Rainbow and another pin attempt 1 2 KICKOUT!}
Terri Morasco: Helena is not going down without a fight.
{Viv hits Helena with a Belly to back suplex. Switching her hold into a powerbomb. Then another powerbomb, Slumberparty.}
Vasco Dias: Here we go for Viv’s favorite moves.
Terri Morasco: It’s a step to her finisher.
{Viv goes for the TIK TOK.}
Vasco Dias: Let’s see if it takes.
Terri Morasco: Could this be it?
{Viv goes for the pin. 1 2 3!!}
Terri Morasco: IT IS!
Vasco Dias: Vivienne had to use stuff outside her normal bag to get the job done
Alison Valance: Your winner and still Open Weight Champion… VIVIENNE RODGERS!
{As “Confident” by Demi Lovato plays Viv stands up smiling. She checks on Helena to make sure she’s okay before being handed the belt which she holds up in the air.}

IN-RING SEGMENT Elaine Laskaris Makes an Announcement
----------------------------------------
{Elaine Laskaris stands in the middle of the ring, mic in hand as she smiles wide at the crowd. A new belt, never before seen in the IWF, lays lavishly displayed on a small table beside her. She speaks with a notable Mexican accent, despite what her Greek name might imply.}
Elaine Laskaris: Ladies and Gentlemen, I hope that you are all enjoying your night here at NIGHT OF THE IMMORTALS!
{The crowd pops in response, roaring their approval for the matches they have seen so far.}
Elaine Laskaris: Sí, sí, bien, bien! We all work hard to make sure that this night holds up to the standards set by the rest of our year, to make Night of the Immortals the most explosive, the most daring, and the most unforgettable night of the year! But! But just because we try to make our Night of the Immortals the biggest event of the year doesn't mean we won't challenge ourselves, yes? That doesn't mean we won't strive to make the rest of this year as shocking and amazing as what you'll see here tonight, so that we have a higher bar to meet at Night of the Immortals Six, Sí?
{The crowd cheers again, clearly surging to know what Elaine is referring to. Elaine smirks and gestures at the belt next to her.}
Elaine Laskaris: So... I suppose you might be wondering what this chica bonita's doing out here, and what it has to do with this mysterious item to my left?
{The crowd roars in affirmation.}
Elaine Laskaris: Ladies and gentlemen, THIS... is the IWF LUCHADORA CHAMPIONSHIP!
{The crowd cheers again, Elaine seeming to revel in the attention.}
Elaine Laskaris: As the official commissioner of this, the newest championship of the Imperial Wrestling Federation, a championship only fit for those women who are daring enough, dazzling enough, dashing enough, dedicated enough, and damn loca enough to stand with the legacy of the Luchadora, I wanted to make sure that the FIRST EVER match for the Luchadora Championship was something that you would never forget. So I asked myself... why not a debut match at Night of the Immortals?
{Elaine shrugs to herself as the crowd cheers, but they are surprised when she shakes her head in the negative.}
Elaine Laskaris: No no no, absolutamente no. No, I wanted to make the Luchadora Championship synonymous with something special. Something... daring. Something... dazzling. Something... dashing. Something... well, absolutely off the wall insane. And so! Damas y caballeros of the Imperial Wrestling Federation Universe, I am PROUD to announce... that in FOUR WEEKS, the First Ever Luchadora Champion will be decided in the MAIN EVENT of Bloody Assizes... In the FIRST EVER, FIRST ANNUAL... LAST RITES EVENT!!!
{The crowd cheers again.}
Elaine Laskaris: Thank you, thank you - but I hear yourself asking: Señorita Laskaris, what is this Last Rites match? It's a little something that's a nod to the tradition that inspires the Luchadora Title. It is a TWENTY WOMAN BATTLE ROYALE, where two women start in the ring and a new woman enters every 90 seconds until all 20 have entered the ring.
"But Señorita Laskaris, that sounds like a smaller version of the Roulette?" Perhaps at first - but the women of the Luchadora aren't soft enough to be eliminated by merely being thrown over the top rope! Women in the Last Rites can only be eliminated by PINFALL OR SUBMISSION within the ring! And, in case you thought I was being NICE to these warrior women... at the bottom of the ramp there will be a rack of weaponry, from chains to whips to leaden pipes, for each women to choose from and enjoy in this No Disqualification Blood Sport!
{The crowd roars its approval at the surprising intensity of the match that has been described, and Elaine takes a flourishing bow.}
Elaine Laskaris: So mark your calendars and pick your favorites - because in four weeks we are going to change the landscape of the Imperial Wrestling Federation... forever. THANK YOU SO MUCH, AND ENJOY THE REST OF THE SHOW!
---------------------------------------- BACKSTAGE SEGMENT”I’ll Show You...I’ll Show EVERYONE!---------------------------------------- Terri Morasco: Ladies and gentlemen we have to take you backstage for breaking news! Vasco Dias: Oh my God! {The scene cuts backstage in Cable’s office where Steve Awesome is pummeling him with punches in his leather office chair. One fist after another, Cable tries to get his hands up to block but Steve’s onslaught was too much.}Steve Awesome: Want me fired? Fire this! {Steve grabs Cable by his shirt and tosses him over his desk and he crashed through all his paperwork and office supplies and he lands on the ground on the other side with a thud. Steve comes around the other side and starts stomping him in the ribs and face. He then grabs the desk and tips it over onto Cable. The desk crashes onto Cable then slides over and Cable rolls away in pain. Holding onto his ribs in pain.}Terri Morasco: Oh my God! Steve Awesome is assaulting Cable Arcane! Vasco Dias: Get somebody back there! {Steve grabs Cable up by the collar of his shirt and then whips him into the wall. The dry wall caves in where his face hit and he falls down to the ground. Steve opens up the office door and pulls Cables left ankle toward the bottom corner of the doors foundation.}Terri Morasco: What is he doing now? Oh no! Vasco Dias: No! Don’t do it! {Steve kicks the heavy door as hard as he could and the door swings and smashes into the ball of Cables left ankle and the door slowly swings back from the force as Cable yells out in pain! Holding his ankle in severe pain!}Terri Morasco: oh my god! His ankle might be crushed! Vasco Dias: Yeah But look at his head, Terri! {Cable sat on the ground holding his ankle in pain, unaware that his head was now also in line with the doorframe! Steve goes for another kick to the door but Cable moves at the last second and with nothing in its way it slams shut. Surprised, Steve quickly pulls the door open again and Cable comes charging out of the office and Spears Steve into the wall. Steve quickly retaliates by stomping on his left ankle and Cable yells out in pain and slumps down and takes a knee to the face once he got low enough.}Steve Awesome: Was the hate and the bias worth all of this Cable? Huh? Was it? You son of a bitch! {Steve slaps Cable in the face a couple times out of pure spite and Steve tries to pick Cable up but Cable lands a quick punch and a kick to the gut that sends Steve stumbling toward a thin guard rail for the flight of stairs that goes down to the next level. Cable spits out some blood and comes running after Steve in pure rage but Awesome manages to hit a hard hip toss that forced Cables spine to bend over the rail and flip him to the other side of the rail, overlooking the stairs! Cable desperately gasps for the air that was knocked out of him as Steve struts around to where Cable was laying on the ground.}Steve Awesome: I don’t deserve a spot? You took away my spot. You took away my chance to make a moment! {Steve runs up and kicks him in the lungs.}Steve Awesome: Well here is a moment you’ll never forget. {Steve grabs Cable by his stretched out and ripped shirt and tosses him head first down the stairs. Cable toppels heels over head down the thirteen steps and lands down on the floor with a sickening thud!}Terri Morasco: Oh my God. Cable might have a concussion! Vasco Dias: Why isn’t anyone stopping Steve? He’s lost his damn mind! Steve Awesome: Okay well you might forget this moment...but it’s okay I’ll remind you! {Steve heads down to where Cable is and steps over his fallen body and looks where he is. He is near the valet office and the maintenance closet. Steve slams Cable into the maintenance door and drags him toward the valet office. It had a big glass window that overlooked the parking lot.}Steve Awesome: Just remember Cable this is all your fault! {Steve takes Cable and throws him head first through the big glass window! Glass shatters everywhere and Cable slumps down to the ground unconscious in a pile of glass on the other side.}Terri Morasco: No! Well if he didn’t have head injuries then he does now! Vasco Dias: Oh my...look at that gash! He’s bleeding all over the place. He needs help! {Steve pulls Cable to his feet as glass shards fall off his limp body and you can see the brutal wound across his forehead and Cables face covered in blood. A crazed Steve Awesome hits blows straight to the cut! Steve throws Cable face first into a big tank and the impact makes a blood stain on the tank where his face hit. Cable slumps down to the floor completely unable to fight back.}Terri Morasco: My god. Someone needs to stop this! Vasco Dias: Steve has gone too far! {Steve grabs a nearby cart and dumps Cables limp body onto it. Steve spots the loading docks in the background and starts rolling him toward them with bad intentions.}Terri Morasco: What is he planning now? Vasco Dias: Whatever it is, it can’t be good! {Steve has now pushed Cable up the ramp and he looks over the dumpsters fifteen feet below. Steve takes his hands and wipes at Cables bleeding wound and crimson mask.}Steve Awesome: Your blood is on my hands, Cable. I told you, I’d show you. {And with that Steve gets a running start and hurls Cable off the dock with the cart and he falls the fifteen feet below into the dumpsters. You here a terrible metal clang as he lands. Steve just stands there on the dock looking down at the damage he’s caused, EMT’s flood the scene.}Terri Morasco: Good God Almighty! What has Steve Awesome done? Vasco Dias: Is Cable okay? I don’t think he is moving! Get him some help! {Steve Awesome stands proud of his destruction.}Steve Awesome: I’ll show everyone! {The backstage feed cuts off and Terri and Vasco are on screen.}Terri Morasco: We will keep everyone posted as we get updates on Cable Arcane medical condition. Vasco Dias: All over not being booked for tonight. I get it’s the greatest show of the year, but that’s too much. I think Steve Awesome went to far. ----------------------------------------
IWF WOMEN'S WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP
Dawn Halliwell vs. Brooklyn Maddrox(c) ----------------------------------------Alison Valance: The following contest is scheduled for one fall, and is for the IWF WOMEN’S WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP! Introducing first… the challenger!{The lights in the arena go out, only lit by the flashes of cameras around the arena. Red and white lights come up on the tron and the entrance ramp, revealing to figures silhouetted against a red and black background. One of the figures is holding a guitar, and she steps forward and begins an improvised electric guitar solo, playing a few riffs with professional skill. After a few seconds of play, she ends on a long note… and then plays the opening riff of Halestorm’s cover of Shoot to Thrill! Lights come up on a LIVE BAND that begins playing alongside the guitarist on the ramp, and spotlights come down to reveal that Dawn Halliwell herself has been playing the opening solo.} Terri Morasco: How am I not surprised that Dawn can play the guitar?{The crowd pops heavily, not just for her… but also for the other woman who walks alongside Dawn down the ramp!} Terri Morasco: LIZZY HALE!Vasco Dias: Looks like Halestorm’s here for a live performance, folks!Alison Valance: Representing the Age of Gods - from Salem, Massachusetts, weighing in at 125 pounds: The Iron Maiden, DAAAAAAAWN HAAAAALLIWEEEEEELL!{The lead guitarist of Halestorm takes over as Dawn passes her instrument to a nearby aid, the challenger clearly ecstatic to be sharing the stage with one of her musical idols as Lizzy sings Dawn to the ring. She points to the crowd and tries to get them pumped up. When the chorus hits, she raises her fists in the air as she lets out a shout of excitement punctuated by a blast of simple white pyro around her. She holds that pose until the second iteration of "Shoot to Thrill" in the chorus, at which point she charges into the ring and slides in, spinning with the momentum to her feet as she urges the crowd to get to their feet and rock along with her. After a few moments she settles into her corner, eyes on the ramp as she waits for the arrival of the champion.} Vasco Dias: Leave it to Dawn to turn this into a bloody rock concert. How did she get Halestorm here anyway?Terri Morasco: She’s clearly a fan of the show, Vasco, and what better time to do something unforgettable than Night of the Immortals!Alison Valance: And her opponent…{The lights go dark again, the arena filling with swirling tones of purple light on black. It is a much darker tone than one has ever seen from Brooklyn before. The mood is tense, and the arena fills with the screeching of crows. At first it seems that maybe they are coming over the sound system… but it is quickly apparent that a huge flock of large crows – maybe ravens? – have suddenly begun swooping through the outdoor venue of the Sam Boyd stadium. A long, distorted tone rings through the arena as purple smoke floods the ramp… and In The Dark by The Birthday Massacre begins to play.} Terri Morasco: This is new…Alison Valance: Representing The Pack, from Las Vegas, Nevada – weighing in at 112 pounds: The Little Bad Wolf, BROOKLYYYYYYN MAAAAAADROOOOOX!{A wind seems to kick up from the entrance arena, blowing the smoke through the audience, revealing Brooklyn Madrox standing there in the dark mist – her usual attire covered by what appears to be a dress of raven feathers. She stands there, grinning with a cruel gleam in her eye as she stares down the ramp. After a few moments, she strides towards the ring while maintaining eye contact with her challenger. She shrugs off the dress after climbing onto the apron. The crows land around her, perching on the ropes as she ducks under the top. She takes to the center of the ring and slowly spins, closing her eyes and chuckling as the crows take flight, swirling around the ring. When she stops, the sound of a thunderclap rings through the arena, causing the crows to fly off and vanish into the night.} Vasco Dias: … I really hope that those were crows trained and then released by IWF’s effects crew.Terri Morasco: A decidedly darker vibe than we’ve ever gotten from Brooklyn Madrox tonight. Her time with The Pack has truly turned her into one of the more frightening women on the roster.Vasco Dias: The Pack Vs. The Age of Gods… this is going to be a fight for the record books, Terri, and I can’t wait to see how it plays out!DING! {As the bell rings, there is no pretense of the two women meeting in the ring to shake hands – neither even seem interested in making the show of respect as the two of them immediately go to clash. Dawn moves to try to lock up, hoping to take control quickly be bringing her superior size and technical training to bear, but Brooklyn is having absolutely none of it. She slows Dawn’s advance with a swift kick to the knee before circling around Dawn with a flurry of staccato strikes to her legs and midsection. Dawn tries to push through the offense, but is off-balance by the champion’s unconventional footwork and leaves herself open for a sitout facebuster!} Terri Morasco: Rough start for Dawn! She’s going to have trouble if she can’t adapt to Brooklyn’s unconventional style.Vasco Dias: The striking game has always been Dawn’s weakness. These two women may be alike in a lot of ways, but they are opposites of one another when it comes to fighting style. {Dawn gets up right away from the facebuster, rising to her knee with a snarl. Brooklyn tries to keep up the pace by launching herself at Dawn with a low dropkick, but Dawn sees it coming and grabs Brooklyn’s leg. She wrenches Brooklyn harshly out of the air, slamming her to the ground and pulls her into a simple leglock. Brooklyn lets out a shout of surprise, but rolls onto her back before kicking Dawn in the chin. It’s not enough to do any real damage, but it loosens the hold enough for Brooklyn to get away.} Vasco Dias: A quick, smart escape from the Champion.{Brooklyn, instead of trying to escape to rally, chooses to launch herself at Dawn before either woman can get back to their feet, trying to force Dawn into a calf crusher, punching the back of Dawn’s knee and ankle. Dawn is having none of it, and easily is able to counter the hold, but not without taking a few bruising strikes to her leg. Dawn rolls to the ropes, and uses them to leverage herself to her feet.} Terri Morasco: Brooklyn isn’t letting the challenger breathe!Vasco Dias: Brooklyn benefits from a quick pace here, but Dawn’s proven able to go the distance. We’ll see if Brooklyn can wear her down in time, because if Dawn can rally…{Brooklyn doesn’t let up, and throws herself at Dawn with a European Uppercut that leaves Dawn dizzied against the ropes. Brooklyn continues trying to keep Dawn off balance with another flash of strikes, but after a few hard hits Dawn manages to catch Brooklyn by the wrist, twisting it immediately and swirling around to Brooklyn’s other side, then pulling her into an armdrag takedown. Dawn attempts to lock in a Cobra Clutch, but Brooklyn is able to force the two women close enough to the ropes for Brook to get a foot on the ropes. The ref calls for the break, but Dawn refuses to let go right away, wrenching the hold savagely to inflict as much pain as possible before letting go just in time to prevent a disqualification, holding her arms up as the ref tells her off.} Terri Morasco: Bad form from Halliwell.Vasco Dias: She’s always been the sort of girl whose instincts lean towards the extreme. She’s the first to say that she’s no hero, and she’s willing to do whatever she can get away with to put Brooklyn away.{Brooklyn clutches her neck briefly, cracking it through the pain as Dawn shakes off the blows from the earlier parts of the match as she pumps herself up for more. When Brooklyn gets to her feet, Dawn lunches forward and pulls her opponent into a German Suplex, slamming Brooklyn to the ground. Dawn takes a few steps back before moving forward to the grounded Badrox again, launching herself into the RENEGADE! NO! Brooklyn rolls away, leaving Dawn to slam into the mat face-first!} Terri Morasco: Another quick escape from the Champion! Vasco Dias: Brooklyn’s in rare form tonight. There’s a laser focus to her that Dawn just can’t seem to keep up with. This might be a bad night for the Age of Gods.{Brooklyn laughs as Dawn cluches her gut on the ground, rolling breathlessly onto her back. With a grin, she climbs to the top rope nearby, flying into a beautiful moonsault of her own off the top! Dawn is too insensate to get away, and she takes the full force of the move! Brooklyn goes for the cover! ONE!
Dawn kicks out, hard!}Terri Morasco: Woah! Dawn barely seems hindered, despite all she’s gone through!Vasco Dias: The moonsault may be prettier from the top rope, but from a woman that small it can’t be too brutal to endure.{Dawn forces herself to her feet, glaring at Brooklyn who is already standing and readying herself for more. Dawn roars with exertion as she blitzes towards the champion, flying into Brooklyn with a flurry of untrained, hammering punches that look more like those of a barroom brawl than a professional fight. Brooklyn is briefly taken aback by the frenzied offense, falling back against the ropes as she tries to defend herself. Before she really can, however, Dawn pulls Brooklyn into a bridging tiger suplex!
ON - Brooklyn kicks out!}Terri Morasco: Did she think that’d work?Vasco Dias: Dawn’s not finished!{Dawn chains out of Brooklyn’s kickout with a fluid motion, clearly having been expecting it, and drags Brooklyn away from the ropes in the process before hauling her into a cross armbreaker. Brooklyn struggles, and manages to get up to her knees, ramming her knees into Dawn’s thigh to try to shake the hold loose. Dawn, however, tenaciously holds on, forcing Brooklyn to go harder. Eventually, Brooklyn targets the ankle that she had battered earlier in the match, hammering on it until the pain from the strikes causes Dawn’s grip to slip.} Vasco Dias: Another escape from the champion!Terri Morasco: That may be true, but I think she’s starting to pay for it. Her arm looks pretty loose.{Brooklyn tries to shake life back into her arm, and Dawn gets to her feet, gingerly testing her ankle to make sure it can still hold weight. Apparently satisfied, Dawn slips forward as Brooklyn tries to push life into her arm again, kicking her in the gut and nailing Brooklyn with the THUNDERSTRUCK!} Terri Morasco: There it is!{Dawn goes for the cover!
ONE!
TWO!!
BROOKLYN KICKS OUT!}Vasco Dias: HOLY CRAP!Terri Morasco: Did that just happen?! Brooklyn Madrox just kicked out of a Thunderstruck delivered by a Kane! Nobody’s kicked out of Dawn’s Thunderstruck before!{Dawn’s eyes widen with surprise as she watches Brooklyn push herself up, shaking away the cobwebs of the blow before, almost impossibly, rising to her feet before even Dawn can. Brooklyn cracks her neck, smirks, and encourages Dawn to come and keep fighting. Dawn’s lips curl into a snarl as she stands herself, throwing herself furiously towards the champion, but Brooklyn springs the trap, grabbing Dawn’s arms and pulling her down into the JAWBREAKER! Brooklyn goes down, looking to follow up the shot with the Everlasting Gobstopper!} Terri Morasco: Oh, this could be all over!{Dawn puts her arms over her face, looking immediately to block Brooklyn’s most dangerous submission maneuver, keeping Brooklyn from locking in the choke. Dawn thrashes around on the mat, looking to shake Brooklyn away before the champion can get the arms away long enough to lock in the choke, and ends up rolling both of them near the bottom rope. Seeing her chance to escape, Dawn hooks one of her legs under the bottom rope, and uses that as leverage to pull both of them to the outside!} Terri Morasco: Looks like the match is spilling out to ringside, Vasco!Vasco Dias: I won’t say no to a chance to see these women up close.{Upon landing on the ground at the outside of the ring, Brooklyn’s grasp is shaken free, giving Dawn the chance to get away to recover from what could have been a dangerous combination. Dawn hauls herself up on the steel steps, rubbing her jaw as Brooklyn stands near the barricade. Brooklyn then races across the outside, looking for another dropkick, but Dawn sees it coming and once again grabs Brooklyn by the ankle, this time turning the champion’s momentum to fling her painfully into the steps, legs straddling the steel at an agonizing angle.} Vasco Dias: Ouch! That dropkick just hasn’t been working for Brooklyn tonight.Terri Morasco: Great awareness from Halliwell, though, and a great way to counter would could have been a nasty shot.{Dawn whirls on the disoriented champion, wrenching her to her feet and pulling her away from the steps, only to send her down once again by hitting a Snap Suplex that lands Brooklyn spine-first onto the barricade!} Terri Morasco: THAT’S gotta hurt!Vasco Dias: Dawn’s always at her most dangerous outside the ring! A hardcore environmental fighter to the core, just like her father! This could be the turning point Dawn’s been looking for!{Dawn rips Brooklyn up again, the Champion holding her spine from the force of the impact. Dawn now seems completely in control as she flings Brooklyn down towards the announce tables, causing Brooklyn to try to fight back as Dawn gets close. The Iron Maiden, however, is having absolutely none of it, and wrenches Brooklyn into the RIDE THE LIGHTNING, slamming Brooklyn into the other set of steel steps! Brooklyn is completely insensate as Dawn hauls her up and drags her to the announce table, laying her out there as she turns back to the ring... and searches underneath it.} Vasco Dias: What is she planning on doing? This isn’t a no disqualification match, she can’t use weapons…{Dawn searches under the ring… and pulls out a ladder! The crowd roars with excitement as she slides the ladder under the bottom rope, rolling in quickly to follow it. She quickly sets the ladder up right next to the ropes, keeping an eye on Brooklyn the whole time, before quickly ascending. When she reaches the top, she raises a fist in the air before glaring down at her opponent with an insane grin.} Dawn Halliwell: WELCOME TO THE AGE OF GODS, BITCH!{Without another moment to spare, Dawn launches herself off the ladder into the RENEGADE, plummeting 20 feet down to the announce table, this time connecting with the move and driving Brooklyn hard through the announce table!} Crowd: HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT!Terri Morasco: I can’t… what the…Vasco Dias: Like Falcon last year, I think Night of the Immortals just killed someone. Rest In Peace, Brooklyn Madrox!Terri Morasco: Looks like Dawn’s well on her way to vindicating the Age of Gods with a HUGE win tonight!{As the ref continues his count, Dawn hauls herself upwards, battered and in obvious pain from the impact of the Renegade. The Ref pushes the ladder out of the ring as Dawn finally rises to her feet, grunting with exertion as she hauls Brooklyn up with her, hoisting the woman up onto her shoulders. She staggers over to ringside, shoving Brooklyn roughly under the ropes. As the ref counts out the number eight, Dawn herself finally re-enters the ring and goes for the cover…
ONE!
TWO!!
THR-NO! BROOKLYN KICKS OUT!} Crowd: THIS IS AWESOME! THIS IS AWESOME!Terri Morasco: I can’t believe it! She kicked out!Vasco Dias: I can’t believe she’s ALIVE!{Dawn stares at Brooklyn in a state of absolute shock, exhaustion clear on her face as Brooklyn, slowly but surely, rises to her knees. Both women are battered and wincing with pain, but Brooklyn refuses to give up… eventually rising to her feet. Dawn’s shock turns once again into rage, and the Iron Maiden throws herself anew at the Women’s Champion, laying into Brooklyn with swift but brutal knee strikes, but Brooklyn backtracks, moving out of the way before knocking Dawn off kilter, then laying her down with THE B-SIDE!} Vasco Dias: And now back in the ring, Brooklyn once again seeming to seize the advantage!{After holding the mounted punches for an extended period, Dawn finally manages to shove Brooklyn away as she reels from the blows. However, never willing to back down, she forces herself to her feet, wipes the sweat from her eyes, and beckons Brooklyn to keep the onslaught coming, daring her to bring it on. Brooklyn is all too happy to comply, bouncing forward with acrobatic grace that shows that despite what she’s endured at Dawn’s hands, she has plenty of gas left in the tank. She flips and spins around Dawn in an unpredictable pattern of violence. However, Dawn pushes through the offense and nails Brooklyn with the LACRYMOSA! Dawn goes for the pin!
ONE!
TWO!!
Brooklyn kicks out once again!}Vasco Dias: Halliwell’s thrown almost everything she has at her, and Brooklyn won’t stay down! What will it take to end this war?{Dawn grits her teeth, snarling through the frustration as she wrenches Brooklyn around, looking to try to lock in the Highway to Hell. However, Brooklyn seems to see the move coming, and kicks Dawn away before she can secure the hold. Dawn’s frustration is clearly growing, but she’s not ready to give in quite yet, as she recklessly lunges forward once both women are back on their feet, looking for a suplex. Brooklyn evades, moving to the ropes before springing off of it with the BEAST OF WAR!} Terri Morasco: Wait, was that…!?Vasco Dias: I think so! That was one of Rowan MacDonnough’s trademark moves! She taught it to Caleb Lockwood, too, and now Brooklyn’s pulled it out use in her arsenal!{Brooklyn goes for the cover!
ONE!
TW-Dawn kicks out!}Terri Morasco: I thought that Brooklyn had it there!Vasco Dias: Neither of these women are willing to stand down. {Dawn gets up on her knee, and for the third time Brooklyn launches herself forward with the dropkick – and this time finally manages to connect! Brooklyn looks to the downed Halliwell, looks up at the crowd, and climbs up to the top rope. She mockingly raises a fist in the air, much like Dawn did from the top of the ladder earlier… and then leaps off with the SCREAMING FROM THE SKY!} Terri Morasco: And now an homage to Dean Harper, who earlier tonight won the 2018 Joker in the Pack!{Dawn doesn’t get out of the way in time, and takes the full force of the impact! Brooklyn, however, doesn’t cover right away, feeling some pain from the high impacts she’s felt earlier in the match. The crowd roars for both women, hoping that Brooklyn can and can’t cover in time in equal measure! Finally, Brooklyn rolls close and gets the arm on Halliwell…
ONE!
TWO!!} TH-NO! Breathing heavily, and clearly taken aback by the surprise move, Dawn still manages to get the shoulder up!}Terri Morasco: I can’t believe it! The Iron Maiden is absolutely living up to her name! It’s going to take something truly devastating to end this fight!{Dawn forces herself to her feet, gasping for breath like a dying fish, but eyes still alight with fire. The two women glare at one another as Brooklyn stands as well, seeming just as burned out as Dawn is. The two of them start exhaustedly striking one another, while also seeming to lean upon one another to keep themselves standing. They exchange strike after strike, the blows coming faster and faster… until Dawn goes for the low kick, doubling Brooklyn over as she looks for the THUNDERSTRUCK…!} Terri Morasco: Is this it…?! Surely she can’t kick out of two…!{Dawn’s about to finish the move… but BROOKLYN SHIFTS HER POSITION AND GETS UNDER THE CHAMPION! Before Dawn can land the Thunderstruck, Brooklyn gets Dawn up on her shoulders as the crowd explodes. With one final roar of exertion, Brooklyn brings Dawn crashing down, and lays her out with the BAMF! The crowd goes wild as she goes for the cover…
ONE!
TWO!!
THREE!!!}Alison Valance: Here is your winner, and STILL IWF WOMEN’S WORLD CHAMPION…. BROOKLYN MADROX!!!!{In the Dark by The Birthday Massacre plays triumphantly as Brooklyn collapses in the middle of the ring, still on top of Dawn Halliwell. Slowly but surely she rises to her knees, barely able breathe as the referee brings her the belt. She lifts it into the air as the rest of The Pack race down the ramp to celebrate with her.} Terri Morasco: What a night for the Pack! Winning the Joker in the Pack and also retaining both of their existing titles.Vasco Dias: This was a war from start to finish, Terri, and Dawn put Brooklyn through the toughest match of her career. That said, The Little Bad Wolf continues to reign supreme… and I don’t think we’ve heard the last from Halliwell, either.{Maxine Valentine lifts Brooklyn onto her shoulders as The Pack exits with their triumphant champion, leaving Dawn breathing heavily, pounding her fist against the mat in anger and frustration, alone in the ring as the show cuts to its last commercial break…}

IWF MEN'S WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP
God(c) vs. Spike Kane
----------------------------------------
{The arena lights dim as we are taken to a video package set to the opening beats of Judas by Fozzy. We are taken back High Stakes, Spike Kane is on a tear in the Roulette. Bloody Sunday boots and Spike Impalers. Finally he is the last one left in the ring, he’s on his knees as the Night of Immortals banner hangs behind him, looming over him. We switch to Andrew Jacobsen defending the IWF World Championship against Angel Blake. It’s brutal. Both men are damn near killing each other until Spike Kane assists Angel in picking up the win. Blake with the championship, Spike by his side. Destiny is set. Transition to Spike and Angel in the World Cup defeating Pax Stormcrow and Jason Sandman, then their victory over Caberto. Side by side the whole way until we get to the stare down. Spike eyeing the belt as Angel holds it tight. Tonight a God may fall…}
Vasco Dias: Jesus Christ. It’s finally upon us… The SINGLE BIGGEST MAIN EVENT IN THE HISTORY OF IMPERIAL WRESTLING!!!
Terri Morasco: Sponsored by the studio bringing you a sure fire box office smash hit in Jurassic World: FALLEN KINGDOM!
Vasco Dias: I can’t wait to see that movie, Terri.
Terri Morasco: I’m almost as excited for it as I was for Solo.
Vasco Dias: A modern masterpiece if you ask me. But that’s enough about critically praised films people the world over enjoy. We’ve got a main event!
Terri Morasco: The biggest main event on the biggest stage at the biggest show with the biggest stars this company has ever known.
Vasco Dias: No other main event in the history of this company compares to what we are about to see.
Terri Morasco: Spike Kane, the 2018 Roulette winner vs GOD… The IWF World Championship is on the line!
Vasco Dias: I have goose pimples.
{The crowd grow silent as the lights go out, monks chanting can be heard, as the chanting gets louder the stage area starts to fill with smoke. Suddenly, and abruptly as the drums and guitars kick in a pyro explodes around the stage.}
“BROTHERS! MY BROTHERS! Is this all what we are? SISTERS! MY SISTERS! We’ve been crushed by the fists of GOD!!!”
{On the word God another pyro explodes either side of the rampway as Spike Kane appears through the smoke, to a growing roar from the crowdt. He stands with his arms outstretched, fists balled up soaking in the reaction from the crowd. After a few seconds he simply heads right to the ring, rolling under the bottom rope and standing right in the center of the ring, extending his arms once more, before the lights fade to normal and the music fades.}
Terri Morasco: Spike Kane is at his absolute best. Coming off a historic Man of Steel run, a solid Invictus run, winning the Roulette. The last twelve months of this man’s career have been historic.
Vasco Dias: And it all culminates here. A lot of people are saying this could be Spike’s last chance at the World title for a very long time. He had several matches against Andrew Jacobsen before eventually costing Andrew the belt against Angel.
Terri Morasco: You have to wonder if that was a tactical move on Spike’s part. He’s beaten Angel in the past.
Vasco Dias: Terri, I’m not going to lie. As great has Spike has been, God has been on another level since returning to IWF. If helping God was a tactical choice then I’d say it was a mistake.
{ The arena goes black. A quiet guitar rif echoes through the arena as wolves can be heard howling. It last for several long seconds. Drums kick in. Then, finally the beat kicks in for the Council of Wolves and Snakes by Dimmu Borgir as a bright spot light shines down on the entrance way where Angel Blake stands with arms outstretched in a full length golden robe with the hood up. Torches spark up all along the entrance way right up to the ring. Blake slowly begins to step forward the light staying on him as he makes his way toward the ring. Once there Blake throws his robe off as the chorus comes in. }
WE ARE GODS! Here for the taking! Yield to the dragon’s embrace. WE ARE GODS! Yield to the dragon’s embrace.
{Blake sneers as he walks up the ring steps and then climbs up onto the ropes throwing his arms out again as the whole arena lights up to near blinding levels. When the lights return to their normal intensity Blake is now in the center of the ring, the World Championship over his shoulder as he looks out with disgust at his creating...}
Vasco Dias: Jesus…
Terri Morasco: That was a spectacle.
Vasco Dias: We are about to see something truly special.
Terri Morasco: A once in a life time main event.
{IWF’s own head referee, Blue Shoes takes the belt from Angel and brings it over to Spike to present to him as Alison Valance prepares to make the introductions.}
Alison Valance: Ladies and Gentlemen… WELCOME TO YOUR MAIN EVENT!!!!
{The crowd pops huge.}
Alison Valance: The following contests is scheduled for ONE FALL! And it is for the IWF WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP! To my left, he is the 2018 winner of the Roulette, THE GOD OF XTREME!!! SPIKE! KANE!!!!
{Kane throws his arms up as the crowd roars.}
Alison Valance: And to my right, he is the reigning and defending IWF WORLD CHAMPION! ANGEL! BLAKE!!!!
{There is a noticeable split in the crowd reaction for Blake who just stands there with his black eyes locked on Spike Kane.}
Vasco Dias: This is it.
Terri Morasco: There’s nothing left to do but call the match!
{Blue Shoes checks both opponents one last time and calls for the bell! Blake and Spike both move to their rights, circling each other, the gap between them getting smaller and smaller as the anticipation grows.}
Vasco Dias: Who will throw the first punch!?
{Finally they are face to face and both men tie up. Spike quickly over powers Blake but Angel moves behind Spike and looks for a rear waist lock, Spike spins around and pushes Angel off then rushes in for the side head lock. Angel throws Spike off into the ropes and Kane comes back looking for a clothes line! Angel ducks the clothes line and hits the ropes now, Blake comes running back looking for his own. Spike gets under that and both men turn and throw shin kicks, their shins colliding!}
Terri Morasco: Both men looking for the early advantage!
Vasco Dias: And neither one getting it!
{Blake springs into action with a leaping elbow shot to the side of Spike’s head! Angel connects with several more elbow shots to Spike’s head and drives him into the corner of the ring. Blake pushes off and runs across the ring, bouncing off the turnbuckles and coming back looking for the shining wizard but Spike comes out of the corner and grabs Angel for a uranage backbreaker!}
Vasco Dias: Kane with the urange!
Terri Morasco: Targeting the lower back of Angel, maybe Kane rewatched the match against Andrew this week!?
Vasco Dias: He’s certainly taking some ideas from that match.
{Blake is pulled back to his feet and Spike drives several hard knees into the gut of Blake. Kane then throws Angel with everything he’s got into the turnbuckles. Spike lines up his shot and takes off looking for the Bloody Sunday kick but Angel moves and Spike is hung out to dry on the top rope.}
Vasco Dias: Great wing awareness from God!
{Angel fires off the Genocide Kick on the hung up Spike Kane and sends him falling onto the apron and then to the outside of the ring. Blake seems to smile before jumping out of the ring after his opponent. Angel pulls Spike up but Kane over powers him and sends Angel running into the guard rails!}
Terri Morasco: This match just went outside!
Vasco Dias: This no man’s land! Neither of them wants to be out there with the other.
Terri Morasco: It sure as hell looks like they do!
{Spike charges at Angel and buries another knee in his get, Spike then peels Angel off the rails and throws him hard into the ring post. Spike lines up his shot again and looks to crush the head of Blake with a Bloody Sunday kick but with an almost sixth sense like awareness Angel moves and Spike kicks the post hard!}
Vasco Dias: That’s going to jar the knee!
{Blake charges into Spike with a spear and both men go through the guard rails and into the crowd! Blue Shoes stops his count at eight and jumps out of the ring to check on them.}
Terri Morasco: Blue Shoes is opting to not count these men out.
Vasco Dias: It’s called referee’s discretion.
{Blue Shoes says they’re good to go as Blake starts to pick himself back up. Kane is right behind him but Angel is head back toward the ring. Spike limps after him and clubs Blake over the back of the head hard! Spike then grabs Angel and picks him up for a back drop right onto the apron! Spike climbs up onto the apron now and picks Angel up, Spike knees him yet again and then lifts Angel into power bomb position.}
Terri Morasco: What the hell is Spike going to do here!?
Vasco Dias: Nothing good!
{Spike runs down the length of the apron and sends Angel flying back first with a power bomb into the ring post!!!}
Vasco Dias: HOLY HELL!!!!
Terri Morasco: These men already fought in one brutal match tonight but it looks like they were only getting started!
Vasco Dias: How does God recover from that!?
{Blake falls to the arena floor but Spike sees his chance and jumps down, pulls Angel up and rolls him back into the ring. Spike moves in and covers him for ONE! TWO! KICK OUT!}
Vasco Dias: Thank god!
Terri Morasco: I don’t believe it. How did he kick out!?
Vasco Dias: Will?
{Spike looks a little stunned as he takes his time standing up. Kane then reaches down to grab Angel who quickly rolls Kane up. Blue Shoes moves in for ONE! Spike kicks out and both men are up to their feet but Angel connects with a spinning heel kick! Angel hits a jab/cross combo and then punts Kane right in the gut. Angel fires off the spinning backfist and Kane is staggered. Angel hits the leaping knee to top it off and Spike falls into the corner. Blake then runs in and this time hits the Shining Wizard, Angel looks for the running bull dog out of the corner he calls Heaven’s Fury but Spike uses his strength to over power Angel and German suplex him into the corner!}
Vasco Dias: Brutal strikes from God but Kane was able to over power him again!
Terri Morasco: And every move Spike hits is targeting the back of Blake!
{Spike drags Angel out of the corner and goes for another cover. ONE! TWO! KICK OUT!}
Vasco Dias: Not enough, not yet!
{Spike looks annoyed now and he pulls Angel up off the mat and two handed choke tosses Angel into the corner! Spike runs in with a spear in the corner and then starts clubbing away at Angel with corner clotheslines. Spike backs off and Angel staggers toward, Spike kicks him hard in the gut and goes for Thunderstruck but Angel leaves his feet and grabs Spike for the reverse Revelations!!!}
Terri Morasco: Blake has created some distance but Spike has been unstoppable!
Vasco Dias: It’s going to take everything both of these men have to put the other down!
{Angel definitely is worse for ware as he pulls himself back up to his feet using the ropes. Spike isn’t right there with him but Blake is on him with more elbow strikes then several body shot combos before another spinning heel kick. Spike is gasping for air when Angel drives a hard knee into the gut of Kane. Blake grabs Spike and pulls him in for Tara’s Wings but Spike is able to break out of it, he kicks Angel hard and this time connects with THUNDERSTRUCK!!!}
Vasco Dias: THUNDERSTRUCK!!!
Terri Morasco: That has got to be it!
{Blake rolls out of the ring as Spike scrambles to make a cover. Angel falls on his hands and knees on the outside as Spike sneers.}
Vasco Dias: Blake doing the smart thing and getting out of the ring.
Terri Morasco: I think Spike could have won if he had made the pin.
Vasco Dias: Could have but didn’t.
{Angel begins to stagger away from the ring and toward the announce tables. Spike rolls out behind him, still limping a little from the ring post kick. Spike chases after Angel and crushes him from behind with a clothesline that sends Angel falling onto the announce table! Spike looks around as the crowd roars, they know what is going to happen next. Blue Shoes jumps out of the ring but Spike ignores him as he climbs up onto the table.}
Vasco Dias: It looks like Blue Shoes is going to let this slide!
Terri Morasco: Referee discretion!
{Spike reaches down and pulls Angel up to his feet by his hair. Angel throws Spike’s hands off him and connects with a brutal knee to the gut. Angel quickly ties Spike up and hits him with the Last Gasp piledriver through the table!!!}
Vasco Dias: LAST GASP!
Terri Morasco: Spike’s spine can’t be feeling good right now!
Vasco Dias: Combo that with Gods devastating strikes, each one designed to rob you of air.
Terri Morasco: Spike has got to be hurting.
{Both men lay in the rubble of the table as Blue Shoes checks on them, they both signal their fine to continue. Slowly Angel starts to stand up, Spike is pushing himself up as well. Eventually both men make it to their feet. Blake hits an elbow shot, Spike fires off a right hand. Angel hits another elbow, Spike a right hand, elbow, right hand, elbow, right hand, elbow, right hand, left hand, right hand, left hand and Angel is staggered as Spike grabs him for an overhead belly to belly suplex and puts Angel through the SPANISH ANNOUNCE TABLE!!!}
Vasco Dias: Spike, not one to be up staged here.
Terri Morasco: An over head belly to belly suplex, targeting that lower back.
Vasco Dias: I’m sure the table cushioned some of that fall?
Terri Morasco: Not likely.
{Spike pushes himself up once again and grabs Angel by the wrist, dragging him off what’s left of the table. Spike drags Angel’s body over to the ring apron and picks him up. Spike rolls Angel into the ring and climbs up onto the apron, Angel springs back to life and guillotines Spike on the top rope! Spike nearly falls off the apron as Angel climbs out onto the apron too and grabs Spike for Tara’s Wings on the apron!}
Vasco Dias: God doing more damage to the spine of Sike Kane!
Terri Morasco: I don’t know how they’re still moving.
{Angel rolls Spike into the ring now and covers him. ONE! TWO! KICK OUT!}
Vasco Dias: Just a two count for God!
{Angel is slow to get back to his feet, his back giving him a lot of trouble as he tries to find his balance. Blake helps Spike up and goes to sling him into the corner but Spike reverses it and pulls Angel in for a short arm clothesline! Angel tries to get right up but Spike hoists him over his shoulder and runs Angel into the corner of the ring with snake eyes! Angel bounces off and right into the SPIKE IMPALER!!!}
Terri Morasco: IMPALER!
{Spike quickly hooks the leg of Blake for ONE! TWO! KICK OUT!}
Vasco Dias: God just got the shoulder up!
Terri Morasco: That was a delayed kick out, I’m not sure Angel even knew he did it.
{Spike peels Angel off the mat and brings him back to his feet but Angel fires off rapid fire body shots and then a barrage of elbow shots, one opening a deep cut over the left eye of Spike Kane! Spike is staggers and Angel connects with the leaping knee to the jaw of Kane and whips him hard into the corner of the ring! Blake charges in for the shining wizard and this time connects with the Heavens Fury running bull dog! Blake covers Kane for a ONE! TWO! KICK OUT!}
Vasco Dias: Spike just got his shoulder up in time!
Terri Morasco: That was 2.99999 seconds.
Vasco Dias: Spike wants that World title.
Terri Morasco: But does he want it more than Angel!?
{Angel very slowly pushes himself back to his feet, Spike is a bloody mess now. Angel grabs Kane by the back of the neck and pulls him up. Angel hits three more elbow shots to the bleeding eye of Kane and looks for a whip into the ropes but Spike bounces off and comes back with a roaring Bloody Sunday kick!!! Angel goes head over heels onto his stomach! Spike staggers and falls into the ropes and then climbs out onto the apron. Spike starts to climb the ropes.}
Vasco Dias: Where is Kane going!?
Terri Morasco: Spike is going high risk. We don’t see this alot!
{Spike stands on the top rope and then he leaps off with the BURNING STAR!!! Spike connects and just lays limp across Angel’s body as Blue Shoes goes for the count. ONE! TWO! THRE-KICK OUT!}
Vasco Dias: High risk is sometimes no reward.
Terri Morasco: But Angel’s kick outs are getting slower and slower. Kane is wearing him down!
{Spike slowly pulls himself up with Angel in his grasp. Spike throws Angel into the ropes and pops him up for the Blood Gods Wrath but Blake fires off several elbow shots to Spike Kane that causes him to fall into the corner of the ring. Blake hops off onto the ropes, Spike turns and starts to climb up too. Angel stands on the top rope balancing himself with Spike who is on the second and just punching the champion in the gut. Spike climbs up to the top as well and grabs Angel round the waist.}
Vasco Dias: This is going to be bad!
{Angel manages to get Spike’s arms off of him and connects with another elbow shot and then grabs Kane for a reverse bulldog off the top rope!!!}
Vasco Dias: HEAVEN’S FURY!!!
{Angel throws a limp arm over Spike Kane as the Blue Shoes counts. ONE! TWO! THRE-KICK OUT!}
Terri Morasco: HOW!? How did Spike kick out!?
Vasco Dias: It’s like I said, this could be Spike’s last chance at the World Championship. He wants that belt more than Chris Pratt wants Blue back in Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. Coming to a theater near you.
Terri Morasco: Slick plug.
Vasco Dias: Thanks.
{Angel pushes himself up to his knees, Spike rolls over onto his. Angel hits Spike with an elbow. Spike responds with a right hand. Both men are on their knees and start to just fire off shots back and forth. Eblows, Right hands, neither is letting up and finally they pull each other in and just start throwing shots wildly!}
Vasco Dias: It’s a brawl now!
{Spike starts to get the upper hand on the master striker, Blake. Spike hits one real good right hand and opens Angel up the hard way over his eyebrow! The painted man now wears a crimson mask as Spike uses him to stand up. Kane runs for the ropes and bounces off looking for the Bloody Sunday kick on the kneeling Blake, Spike connects! But he doesn’t go for the cover. Instead Kane heads to the top rope again. Spike signals that this is the end and looks for the BURNING STAR!!! ANGEL GETS HIS KNEES UP!!!}
Vasco Dias: Spike went to the well one too many times and Angel was ready for it!
Terri Morasco: Both men look gassed, this is Angel’s chance to put Spike away!
{Angel rolls to his feet, his face covered in blood just like Spike’s now. Angel is begging Spike to stand who is very slow. Finally Spike reaches his feet and Angel comes in with a GENOCIDE KICK!!! Spike is down and Angel collapses onto him! ONE! TWO! THRE-KICK OUT!!!}
Vasco Dias: WHAT!?
Terri Morasco: Spike just kicked out of Angel’s finishing maneuver!
Vasco Dias: What is it going to take to put Spike down!?
Terri Morasco: More power than even God wields!
{Angel looks a little frustrated as he brings Spike back up to his feet. Blake punts Spike in the gut and then looks to use Spike’s Thunderstruck against him but Spike pushes him off and when Angel turns he pops him up for the BLOOD GODS WRATH!!!!! Spike falls onto Angel and ONE! TWO! THREE!!!!!}
Vasco Dias: GOD’S FOOT IS ON THE ROPES!
Terri Morasco: Blue Shoes sees it, he’s calling off the count!!!
{Spike is exhausted and just looking in disbelief at the foot on the ropes and then just rolls onto his back to lay there for a second. Both men are down, neither one is moving. Blue Shoes checks on them again, both nod. Spike starts to get up but Angel rolls out of the ring.}
Vasco Dias: God creating some distance.
Terri Morasco: He needs to after that power bomb.
{Angel reaches under the ring now as Blue Shoes climbs out. Angel pulls out a steel chair.}
Vasco Dias: Oh no.
{Spike rolls out now as Blue Shoes yells at Blake.}
Terri Morasco: Angel is getting desperate.
{Blake pushes Blue Shoes away but Spike comes in with the Bloody Sunday kick and sends the chair straight into Angel’s face!}
Vasco Dias: The steel chair backfired!
Terri Morasco: That may be the killing blow for Angel!
Vasco Dias: Look, I believe in God but how much more can he take?
Terri Morasco: It can’t be much.
{Spike pulls Angel up to his feet and then pops him up for the BLOOD GODS WRATH ON THE AGAINST THE APRON!!!!}
Vasco Dias: MY GOD!
Terri Morasco: Spike just may break Angels back tonight!
Vasco Dias: Or come damn close!
{Spike pulls Angel off the apron and goes to throw him back into the ring but Angel grabs him with a Russian legsweep and sends the back of Spike’s head right into the steel guard rails!}
Vasco Dias: God with a desperation leg sweep!
{Both bloody men lay against the guard rails. The crowd is clapping. Slowly they both start to get up. Angel throws a hard kick to the side of Spike Kane. Spike drives his shoulder into Angel and sends him into the apron. Spike then hits another belly to belly overhead suplex on the arena floor!}
Terri Morasco: They’ve thrown everything they have at each other and they both keep going.
Vasco Dias: I don’t know what they could possibly have left.
{Angel tries to get up, Spike lines up another shot but as Angel reaches his knees Spike goes for the GENOCIDE KICK! Angel grabs the leg of Spike Kane and goes for a dragon screw that sends Spike into the apron. Angel rolls back into the ring now and just lays flat back in the center.}
Vasco Dias: Spike went for Angel’s move but Blake countered it into the dragon screw.
Terri Morasco: I don’t think it was smart for Blake to leave Spike out there to recover.
Vasco Dias: They both need to recover.
{Spike pulls himself in and rolls back into the ring. The two men start to stand, both winded, tired, bloody and beaten. They reach their feet and Angel hits the elbow, Spike the right hand. They begin to exchange but it’s slow and labored. Several seconds pass between each strike. Spike finally lands a stiff kick and goes for THUNDERSTRUCK! Angel pushes him off and Spike turns into the GENOCIDE KICK!!! NO! Spike manages to get under the leg of Angel and hoist him up for the BLOOD GODS WRATH!!!! Spike literally collapses onto Angel and Blue Shoes moves in for the count. ONE! TWO! THREE!!!!!!}
Vasco Dias: SPIKE DID IT!!!
{Neither man moves as Blue Shoes hovers over them.}
Terri Morasco: It’s over!!! That’s it!!! Spike Kane is the WORLD CHAMPION!!!!
Alison Valance: And your winner… AND NEW IWF WORLD CHAMPION!!!! SPIKE!!!! KANE!!!!
{Blue Shoes raises the arm of the collapsed Kane as medical staff come into the ring to check on both men.}
Terri Morasco: What an amazing match.
Vasco Dias: It surpassed all expectations!
Terri Morasco: That match will go down into history as the single greatest main event in IWF!
{Crushed blares through the arena as only now Spike is bringing himself to his feet realizing what he’s now holding in his hands. The IWF World Championship...}
Terri Morasco: And that's all we have, folks! Thank you so much for joining us at 2018's Night of the Immortals!
Vasco Dias: And what a Night of the Immortals it was, Terri! I can only hope that nex-WOAH!
{The lights flicker as a deep, ultra-bass tone floods through the arena, making the entire building seem to almost shudder. God and Spike both tense, looking around as lights around the building are extinguished entirely as a deep, rumbling roar seems to burst from the depths of the earth itself. Shadows loom over the ring, creeping through the lights like fingers closing upon a throat.}
Terri Morasco: What's going on?!
"The final seal... is broken."
{God and Spike exchange a grim look, and nod as one - the enmity between the two of them over their match put aside in the face of what was happening.}
"The End of Days... Has Come."
{In the ring under their feet, a burning red sigil of a pentagram burns to life. The crowd seems to realize what is happening, and a dull roar begins to grow amongst their number that almost drowns out the ultra-bass tone ripping through the Sam Boyd Stadium, a tone that soon becomes mixed with the screeching of carrion birds... and laughter.}
"The War Between Heaven and Hell Begins... and I Have Returned at Last."
{Abigail Spencer, Dawn Halliwell, Jayson Matthews and Oracle all run down the ramp to join God and Spike in the ring, but before the four of them are able to make their way under the ropes the apron EXPLODES! A pillar of flame erupts from every side of the ring, with all other light in the arena going black. For several long seconds, the flames hold... and even when they diminish, the ropes continue to burn. But when the flames do recede, God and Spike are no longer alone in the ring - for a third figure stands in the center of the blazing sigil.}
Vasco Dias: ... Oh no. She's back. It's... IT'S ROWAN MACDONNOUGH!
{The Wolf of the Abyss stands between Spike and God, eyes burning gold in the flickering light cast by the burning ropes. She glances slowly between the two of them, eyes eventually fixing on God... as the opening notes of Trip the Darkness by Lacuna Coil begin to play through the erupting arena as the lights return. Suddenly, heedless of the heat of the flames, Dean Harper leaps out of the darkness and into the ring, flying into Spike Kane who flails back, exhausted from his match but refusing to back down. On the outside of the ring, Maxine Valentine and Brooklyn Madrox plow headfirst into Dawn and Abigail, while Caleb Lockwood explodes from another angle and slams into Jayson Matthews as Warren Kane emerges from the gloom to tear into Oracle. All of the men and women of the Age of Gods and The Pack lock into a brutal, savage ringside brawl as God and Rowan slowly advance upon one another, staring one another down without any overt acts of violence. The area around and within the ring is an absolute war zone between the two factions. Rowan slowly spreads her arms wide, gesturing to the carnage around them, not needing to say more than that.
God bares his teeth in a snarl of rage, and the two of them lunge at one another as though about to fight...!
The lights go out once again, the music cutting to an eerie silence. When the lights return, all of the men and women of the two factions are gone, leaving only a mix of red and black smoke in their wake.}
Terri Morasco: What... what just happened?
Vasco Dias: I think... I don't think we're prepared to know the true answer to that Terri. But if I were to guess? Rowan just had The Pack declare war on the Age of Gods. Heaven and Hell are at war on earth, Terri... and that can only mean one thing...
... The Apocalypse is here.
{The show cuts to a sequence showing the biggest spots throughout the show, from the opening match between Redcap and Xavier Cross, through the Tag Team World Cup, all the way to the end of the Main Event. Now Let Them Tremble by All That Remains plays as it highlights the moments leading to the rising war between The Pack and the Age of Gods, and the package closes on the Night of the Immortals logo going up in flames.}
