I am writing you this letter because we seemed to have come to a stalemate in terms of contract negotiations. I have tried leaving you messages, and I understand you are indeed a busy man. I enjoyed your phonecalls that we had months ago, and your long-term vision for IWF inspired me to make a comeback.
As you recall. It wasn’t me who came knocking on your door. I could of just came in, since IWF has a very open door policy and has had a habit of signing talents who only wanted to come in and collect a paycheck. I don’t need the paycheck. I earned my big payday back in NCW twice. For some terms, which include zero pay given to me, You will have another billionaire teaming with you, and working under you. I’m a very powerful man, and I’m allowing myself to be humbled to work under you in exchange for things that only people of our status could even begin to ask for. You have someone who is a proven draw, not only in this business, but in the outside world. Someone who despite being away from the spot. Has kept himself in peak conditions.
My terms are indeed impractical, but if agreed too, You would have a very powerful ally at your beck and call. I already took the liberty of sending the blueprints to the contractor who creates your title belts, and had the title I want created in my own image made. It has already been commission and delivered to my offices in Toronto.
I know it is impractical for someone signing to your company to do such a thing. But I want to address you to a promise you made to me years ago.
We made a wager, when it seemed that you would be taking over New Championship Wrestling behind the scenes when Kelly no longer had the heart for it. I will say it was a smart call to take everything from that company while building a new brand to exceed it. But as businessmen and as professional wrestlers we made a wager between one another.
You promised to get me a title shot of my choice if I managed to defeat you, perhaps it was a promise made out of survival since myself and another current employee of yours, Steven Bates (AKA Steve Awesome) were allies and facing you in a triple threat match. Knowing our antics and that your chances of Survival were slim, made a arrangement that if myself or Steve won said match, while gaining a victory over the other. We will be granted a title shot of our choice.
Seeing how you’re no longer NCW Champion as you were then before the company closed it doors, I can’t challenge you for said championship since you no longer even own that defunct championship.
While I admitted earlier, the draw for me versus Spike Kane would break records. I do not, nor do you want the heat of a newly acquired outsider coming in and claiming a title shot while there have been some that have been employed for years by you have not been given such chances. I feel giving me my own title is a acceptable way to not only satify the original agreement, but to give other superstars the chances that we have earned and been given.
