Wrestler's Name: Doc
Nickname(s): "The Boyhood Dream", "The Lionheart"
Gimmick: A man with many sides to a complex and often unstable personality.. often mentally troubled.. always driven to succeed. All in all, a man who has many weaknesses in his personal life, but weaknesses that he keeps hidden on-camera under the bravado of his arrogant and scathing promo routine, where he will stop at nothing to prove he is the best that ever stepped foot in the ring.
Height: 6"2
Weight: 216lbs
Place of Birth: Glasgow, Scotland
Alignment: Heel
Pic Base: Shawn Michaels
Appearance/Attire: Blue tights with a white cross in the shape of the Scottish saltire going across his groin and legs, fist wraps (stems from his boxing background)
Theme Music: "Victory" by Notorious BIG
Entrance: As the fans wait in anticipation, "Victory" hits over the PA and the crowd rise to their feet, awaiting the arrival of Doc. The lights then turn to darkness, a blue glow illuminating the top of the ramp and two white strobe lighting bolts shining across it. They cross over in a huge "X" shape, like the St. Andrews flag of Scotland, and as Doc walks out and stands under the "X", the lights turn back on Doc hops on a the spot a couple of times, before speeding up his approach to the ring as the song enters its chorus.
Wrestling style: Off-the-cuff, catch-as-catch-can. He is able to use his lighter build to fly around the ring but also has some technical knowledge. He is also able to stand and fight, as he boxed at amateur level through his childhood and teenage years. Finally, he has become accomplished in extreme environments during his wrestling career due to his participation in high-risk matches over the years - his success in which is mainly down to his ability to keep getting up no matter how much punishment he takes.
Strengths: An ability to get back up and kick out after sustaining a lot of punishment. Often in showcase matches bigger and stronger opponents will dominate proceedings throughout the match only for Doc to refuse to lose and steal a win from nowhere. (Note: Now that Doc is a heel this may be substitued by being dominated in a match only to sneak a win by cheating or some underhanded method)
Weaknesses: Spinal damage that should have retired him, sustained at the hands of Andrew Jacobsen, has left a large target area for opponents to work on.
Favourite Moves: Piledriver, Suplex, German Suplex, Armbar, Armbar takedown, Neck Vice, Main event sleeper, Neckbreaker, DDT, Knife edge chop, Backbreaker, Knee clip, Scoop Slam, Front facelock, Clothesline, Jab, Right hook, Left hook, Double axe handle, Springboard corkscrew mounsault (Plancha - see HBK/Angle at WM 21)
Trademark Move(s) and Description(s): Lionsault, Air Glasgow (flying elbow drop)
Finisher: Genocide Kick
Description: Sweet Chin Music
Set Up: Doc goes to the corner and Prepares for Wipeout (Tuning up the band) by stomping his foot in the corner. When the opponent turns around he nails him with a stiff kick to the chin/jaw. It can also come out of nowhere, though.
Submission Finisher: Doc Lock
Description: Ankle Lock
Set Up: When the opponent goes to kick Doc, Doc catches his leg then swiftly sweeps away his other, making him fall to the mat. Doc drops to one knee then moves his hand which is on the leg of the opponent to the ankle, and begins twisting it round.
