Hello. I'm Nighthawk, IWF professional wrestler and the head trainer at the Wrestle Factory. You can see me in action this Monday night on Sacrifice against Bob Pooler. I'm here to do an AMA, and I hope I do a good job. Nothing is off limits.

Nighthawk! Thank you for doing this, big fan. One of the most impressive things about you is your morals and code of ethics. My question is, have you ever felt yourself tested when it comes to that code?

@cagedcritic33 Nighthawk! Thank you for doing this, big fan. One of the most impressive things about you is your morals and code of ethics. My question is, have you ever felt yourself tested when it comes to that code? Yes. The chain match with Jason Sandman was an example of that. In the course of that match, I had to do things, and become a person, I didn't particularly like doing or want to be doing. And as soon as that match was over, if you recall, I left for nine months because the mere CONCEPT of being the person who broke their code just for a cheap victory was terrifying.

@longtimebooking4eva: If you could dream book a match against anyone who would it be?

@longtimebooking4eva: If you could dream book a match against anyone who would it be? I would have to say, honestly, my greatest IWF opponent has always been Andrew Jacobsen. I may have wrestled Bob Pooler and Spike Kane on more occasions. But my best challenge, the person who has inspired me to leave more of myself in the ring than anyone? That's Andrew Jacobsen. If I got one more chance to wrestle my best friend, in a battle of equals, I can think of no better night's work.

@iamgroot56: If you could go back and time and advise your younger self of one thing what would it be?

@iamgroot56: If you could go back and time and advise your younger self of one thing what would it be? Fight harder for what you believe in. I won the Mexican Middleweight Title when i was 21, and they took away from me on what was, honestly, a very narrow interpretation of a rule. I believed I deserved the right to lose that title in the ring, but I didn't fight for it. I should have.

@killlakill~!: Nighthawk, would you ever recommend kids enter into wrestling? I know you run a school but given the injuries and craziness...

@killlakill~!: Nighthawk, would you ever recommend kids enter into wrestling? I know you run a school but given the injuries and craziness... God no. Get a base. Learn amateur wrestling, and other forms of grappling. This sport is filled up with entirely too many people who can tell you about their "brand" and what they want to do on social media, but can't tell the difference between a headlock and a padlock. Believe me when i tell you, most reputable gyms would prefer to teach you more about how to wrestle professionally in terms of running the ropes and finding a style that works for you than they would in the actual art of teaching you holds. As far as injuries go, as long as this is a sport, people will get hurt. The key is this: As you become a veteran, you know who the people are who take joy out of trying to injure people versus the people who put enough pressure on you to make you no longer interested in continuing. That former group? They don't last.

@womensnotimainevent2020 - Hi Nighthawk! IWF has a well recorded policy against intergender matches, but its led to curiosity I'm wondering: If you were allowed to wrestle anyone on the female roster, who would it be and why?

Easiest question yet. Astrid Hall. I couldn't envision myself wrestling my student Kimberly Jackson. But Astrid would be a blast.

@wrestlefan88 - Nighthawk, so stoked for you doing this. I'm hoping to visit the Wrestle Factory in the near future. My question is actually two, who would you put on the IWF Mount Rushmore, and who would you put on the entire wrestling Mount Rushmore?

My question is actually two, who would you put on the IWF Mount Rushmore, and who would you put on the entire wrestling Mount Rushmore? IWF Mount Rushmore: Spike Kane (even though he was.... difficult to be around personally, professionally he was as good as it got.) Andrew Jacobsen. I have been around many men who were thought of to be the Ace of their particular company at a particular time. Few did it with the skill, and the nobility, that AJ did when he was our World Champion. Mike Laszlo. Another guy who has done everything that there is to do. Rob Diamond. Entire Wrestling Mount Rushmore: Terminus, John Pariah, Butcher, and Jason Aries. Look all of them up. They're worth your time.
