The 44th Open Fight Night, scheduled for June 10th at Houston's Toyota Center as the lone Texas stop on IWF's touring schedule, has sold out in less than three minutes according to sources close to TicketMaster and StubHub. The demand for tickets to the event, which will feature an appearance by new IWF StrongStyle Champion James Gilmore and a slew of blockbuster matches, had caused a wide range of server crashes as fans raced to scoop up their seats. Fans who weren't able to buy tickets to the event will be able to watch it via closed-circuit on the videoboard at Tudor Fieldhouse on the Rice University campus; tickets for that watch party will cost $5 and proceeds will go to the Cattery, a Corpus Christi-based animal shelter specializing in the adoption of cats with several locations throughout the state.
