Somewhere in space....
"Lord Inazuma we have entered sector 3314-B," the small female voice echoed throughout the entire flight deck, "Closest planet is Earth 47-C and we are receiving a strong power signal from this planet, probably the strongest power signature we've detected in years sir! This Earth is mostly made of mortals with no real power other than man made weapons and war. Should we investigate?"
It was silent again as heads turned to the center of the flight deck, their attention now on the chair hidden by the shadows of space. The only thing they could see was the yellow lights of their fearless leaders face protector and no one could guess what he was thinking as he sat in silence. Lord Inazuma remained quiet for a few moments longer lost in his own thoughts, "Interesting. A planet of mortals with zero power withholding a power source of our own power signature? Have I stumbled upon the lost colony after all these years? No way. I fail to believe that the lost colony made it so far on it's own and then colonized into a self sustaining system? It must be generations of people long thinned of it's TRUE capabilities or just dumb luck?"
Finally he moved and heads quickly snapped back to their stations as Inazuma stalked from his chair of shadows into the light revealing himself. He was a slender framed person wearing all black, his face protector was white and red but kept his identity completely hidden, and his long black trench coat whipped with every step. He had laced his hands behind his back as he took a closer look at the massive blue dot before his ship, "Move us closer Parsons and scan the planet again, this planet seems highly dissatisfying in sight and before I make a decision to board I want to be one hundred percent sure this isn't a Jidios debacle."
"As you command Lord," Parsons responded and with a few swift movements the ship began to glide slowly forward. The scan returned the same results which Parsons sent via to Inazuma's high tech face mask. Behind the mask grey eyes danced back and forth reading the results. A simple heart rate increase was enough for Inazuma to reach his decision, "Prepare my vessel Parsons, this requires my personal attention! Let the High Commander and the homeland know I've made landfall with this Earth and will report back as soon as possible with my findings," each word was burning with the fever of excitement now as this finding alone was rare. Parsons sent the transmission out as yellow flashing lights began to flash and the buzzing of feet making haste to their positions to prepare the Lords personal aircraft 'Flash Bolt', "Transmission sent Lord Inazuma, it will be some time before the Homeland receives it however given the distance we are. Would you like to also assemble the Legionnaire to accompany you? The locals have a strong distaste and distrust of," she read the word on her screen again, "Illegal Aliens. Curious."
Lord Inazuma chuckled, "Very curious indeed Parsons, a planet of mortals who have had contact with our species. Truly odd. However no I will be going in by stealth to study this planet alone for the time being, I want to see this power source first and in the meantime recalibrate our systems to weed out errors as I strongly feel this is another mistake. Once the Homeland has given us a response and I to you this is just a recon mission," Parsons quickly replied as her hand moved away from a green flashing button, "Yes sir Lord Inazuma."
........somewhere over Baltimore....
A huge unnatural thunderstorm had began to form in the early hours of the city, the news broadcast had issued been issued to warn the public to remain in their homes only to leave in dire circumstances. The reserves had been deployed to protect the city if and when the storm broke from its building calm. As the scene unfolds we find two senior officers huddled under a tent that was being beat up by raging winds and whipping winds, "God damn this storm is crazy!" said the oldest looking officer as he poured himself another cup of coffee. The younger officer could only agree with a simple nod of his head, "Scared Peterson? Shit we survived Katrina son this won't be any different!"
Peterson who was wide eyed shrugged, "Sir I know you don't believe in anything like a higher power but I got a strong gut feeling this isn't just some freak accident storm," he gave a weak smile and shook the rest of his thoughts from his mind as his superior gave him a look like 'don't fucking say God', "Or maybe it is...but I know you were thinking I was going to say God but I feel more like this is the Devils game."
"Petterson I love you but neither exists my friend, this is purely mother nature being a crampy bitch! Now shut the hell up and let me enjoy my coffee," he took a sip and sighed, "How we let you religious folk into the service is beyond me, I swear. I've been in service long enough to know it's all fa-," he was cut off when a flash of lightning struck the ground beside them! It hit with such force that both men had to find something to grab, "What the fu-," Peterson began to tell but another strike silenced him. It silenced them both as they now both were looking upon a large black but glowing aircraft of some sort floating above them....
....they watched with open mouths as a figure began to descend from the bottom of the flat aircraft. The figure was encased in it's own storm clouds that mimicked the very storm above from the clouds, bolts of lightning, and even the sound of rolling thunder. The senior officer however was quick to respond when he grabbed his weapon and dashed into the rain with his sights on the things head just as it touched the ground...where things began to levitate from the static discharge....
"Hold it right there!" He screamed not entirely sure how to address the creature before him, in all honesty the man was for the first time terrified of the danger before him. How did one address an...alien? He thought as he kept his gun pointed at the figure but as the cloak of the storm dissipated the figure was Lord Inazuma and he spoke first with a curious tilt of his head, "Fear nothing human as I am just a vessel curious of your planet, are you the leader?"
As soon as Inazuma took a step forward the officer fired several shots, but each failed to reach its target as small bolts of electricity stopped them. Inazuma held up a hand, "Not the warm welcome I was expecting," before the man could fire again a single bolt of blue lightning struck the mans chest and before he hit the ground he was dead. Peterson watched in horror as his senior officer hit the ground but when he went for his own weapon his movement caught Inazuma's attention and he let loose another blue bolt which struck Peterson dead too.
Inazuma checked his surroundings before pressing a button on his belt, "Parsons I've made landfall, hostile territory already. I'm returning Flash Bolt to you now and for the time being transmissions will be triggered only by me."
The transmission then went silent and the Flash Bolt was gone too. Inazuma now alone began to whistle a tune from his childhood, "Singing in the Rain", as he took off down the back alley of the Baltimore streets....

...he was home again.....
....meanwhile in South Carolina....
Thunder echoed in the night when Inazuma Ito shot up in his bed covered in a light cold sweat. His jet black hair was plastered to his forehead as he looked around in slight dazed confusion, but he swung his legs off the bed and let his feet touch the cold wooden floor of his small shack a small breeze of relief from his small rotating fan relaxed him as he grabbed the cup of water beside his bed. Next he grabbed his cellphone and punched the quick dial of the talent agent he had met earlier in the week putting the phone to his ear he finally spoke in fluent Japanese, "Mister Klieman I found my angle back into wrestling....Yes....Yes first thing in the morning I'll be by!"
.....to be continued....
