-------------Wrestler Info-------------
Wrestler's Name: Hideaki Kazama
Nickname(s): "Superstar of the Sky and Seas"
Gimmick: Natural athlete who worked as a fisherman for several years before hauling himself up through the dojo system in Japan, working his way through independent companies and fighting to earn his place on the grandest stage of them all. He's determined to be the best fighter in the world, and if that means he has to fight every single other person to do it, then he will, with steel heart and clear eyes!
Height: 5'10"
Weight: 195 lbs.
Place of Birth: Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan
Alignment: Face
Pic Base: Kota Ibushi
Secondary Pic Base:
Appearance/Attire: Hideaki wears trunks, either blue with two gold stripes down the sides or orange with a black band around the waist and the kanji for "Fight Forever" in the middle of a white circle on the back. Either outfit comes with matching elbow pads and kickpad boots.
Theme Music: exist†trace - Dream Rider
Entrance: {The beeping synths and sliding guitar of "Dream Rider" hit the PA, and as the drums and main guitar riff kick in, Hideaki Kazama explodes from the back, calling out to the crowd with clenched fists and a bellow of joy. He grins ear to ear, walking back and forth to excite the fans before making his way down the ramp, high-fiving and generally playing off the crowd. Hideaki climbs the ring steps, wiping his feet on the apron, and grabs the top rope before slingshotting himself in, landing on his feet and looking around at the crowd with a huge smile on his face. He nods to them, taking a few steps forward before spinning in place and throwing a fist up as he leans against the opposite ropes, smile still wide on his face. He steps back into a corner, testing the ropes, and waits for the bell, bouncing on the soles of his feet with energy and determination on his face.}
Special Entrance:
Primary Style: Technical
Secondary Style: High-Flyer
Other Style: MMA
Strengths:
Boundless Enthusiasm: Hideaki holds a deep love of fighting and combat in his heart, and that love translates to an energetic, determined in-ring style. While he recognizes the dangers of staying in a hold you cannot escape (after all, you can't fight if you're injured!), he will often grit through the pain of a match on sheer love and determination alone.
Adaptable Ring Style: In his quest to be the best, Hideaki has trained with a number of different wrestling schools. From Japanese strong style to lucha libre to European catch wrestling, and even elements of mixed martial arts, he has a familiarity if not an expertise with most wrestling styles under the sun, and can find elements to focus on against most opponents.
Weaknesses:
Sense of Fair Play: Hideaki adheres strictly to the rules, believing them to be the most important part of what makes one a great fighter, not simply one who can defeat an enemy. Whatever the match's stipulation, he will adhere to it, even if his opponent does not. That said, in a relaxed rules environment, he has no issue using the tools at his disposal to win.
Willingness to Take Risks: Hideaki has a finely-tuned sense of what his body can and cannot take. This means that sometimes, he goes for moves that others would consider risky, simply because he believes that he can absorb the punishment. It also means he can be baited into dangerous situations, ones a cunning and skilled opponent can exploit.
Favourite Moves:
Forearm strikes
Running dropkick to a cornered opponent
Springboard moonsault, sometimes to the floor
Solebutt
Deep arm drag
Feint roundhouse kick into legsweep
Superman forearm strike
Arm wrench into elbow smash, twisted through into a shoulder armbreaker
Penalty Kick
High roundhouse kick
High-angle dropkick
Low dropkick to the knee
Step-up enzuigiri
Double leg takedown
Mounted palm strikes
Fujiwara armbar
Snapmare followed by a running dropkick to the face
Trademark Move(s) and Description(s):
Pincer Combo (European uppercut, followed by a spinning back elbow, finished with a German suplex)
Kusanagi (high-impact lariat)
Caisson Drop (double chickenwing lifted into a double knee gutbuster)
