Monday Night Sacrifice November 18th, 2019WELLS FARGO CENTER PHILADELPHIA, PA
------------------------------------
DARK MATCH Mimi Simpson vs Kate Steele
------------------------------------
{ Kate put on a dominating performance in front of the live crowd before the show went on the air. She made quick work on Mimi in a five minute contest that saw Kate hit all of her big signature moves before putting Mimi away for a solid three count. Kate celebrated after the match and got on the mic letting the live crowd know "I'M BACK!" }
------------------------------------
TAG TEAM MATCH Abraxes and Jack Ferriman vs Chance Craven and Hideaki Kazama
------------------------------------
{What's Up Danger begins to play as the lights in the arena dim. A black and white image of Jack appears on the Imperatron as Jack slowly steps out onto the ramp, adjusting the long black coat he is wearing over his ring gear and cracking his neck.}
Alison Valance: The following tag team contest is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, from Seattle, Washington, weighing in at 180 pounds, Jack Ferriman!
Terri Morasco: Jack Ferriman looks in as foul a mood as ever, and teaming with a man like Abraxes can't be helping that.
Vasco Dias: Abraxes seems to draw the worst out of everyone, and Jack has a lot of bad that's festering inside him, Terri.
{He slowly turns his head as he gazes around the arena before setting his eyes on the ring, slowly walking down the ramp and stepping easily through the ropes. He flexes his shoulders as he turns in a slow circle before settling into his corner, tilting his head Michael Meyers style as he stares down the referee.}
Alison Valance: And his tag team partner!
{The lights in the arena flicker and die as if there were some kind of power outage. As the light sounds of an acoustic guitar play, the high pitched laughter of children fills the air. A red spotlight shines on the stage as heavy smoke rolls across the floor. As opening lyrics of Monster (Under my Bed) by Call me Karizma starts to sing Abraxes rises from the center of the stage, his eyes burning out from under his mask as he stares down at the ring.}
Alison Valance: From the Pit, weighing in at 285 pounds, Abraxes!
Terri Morasco: This is a man that feeds on IWF's complacency, that thrives on the negative. There was a time when he never would have come here, but Abraxes has been unleashed, and now we all have to suffer for it.
Vasco Dias: Sadism doesn't even begin to describe the things that go through his head...and what he does in the ring. May he forever stay on that side of the desk.
{The rhythm of the song changes from a twisted lullaby do a grinding rock song just as he rises to his full height. Abraxes glares around at the audience before he walks down the ramp, focused on the ring in front of him. He crawls into the ring, exaggerated movements of his hands and legs to appear more like a creepy spider then a man. He rolls to his feet, holding his arms into the air as the lullaby starts anew.}
Alison Valance: And their opponents...
{Chance opens the curtain and looks at the crowd...or at least tries to...he squints from the bright lights and almost forgets he's about to fight for his food. He pops his neck and walks to the ring in a haze...never taking his eyes off the ring.}
Alison Valance: From Fort Worth, Texas, weighing in at 320 pounds, Chance Craven!
Vasco Dias: Someone get this bum some entrance music, for the love of God!
Terri Morasco: A man of the people in as true a sense of the phrase as it can be, Chance Craven looking to put in a proper showing this week after last week's tragic accident involving the Oracle.
Vasco Dias: Maybe he'll learn to not flinch away and take a hit! If he had, we wouldn't be out a servant of the Lord!
{He slaps hands with fans that care to reach out. He gets to the ring and sits on the apron and rolls under the bottom rope and slides to the corner. He grabs the ropes and pulls himself up from the turnbuckle and waits to fight.}
Alison Valance: And his tag team partner...
{The beeping synths and sliding guitar of "Dream Rider" hit the PA, and as the drums and main guitar riff kick in, Hideaki Kazama explodes from the back, calling out to the crowd with clenched fists and a bellow of joy. He grins ear to ear, walking back and forth to excite the fans before making his way down the ramp, high-fiving and generally playing off the crowd.}
Alison Valance: From Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan, weighing in at 190 pounds, Hideaki Kazama!
Terri Morasco: Abraxes and Hideaki have a lot of unresolved tension, Vasco, and that Extreme Title match still hangs in the balance for either man. Who knows what we're going to see here tonight?
Vasco Dias: We're going to see what this kid can really do under the bright lights. He's got two hungry and violent competitors across the ring from him, and this big Texas bumpkin on the apron with him. I don't like his odds.
Terri Morasco: "Bumpkin", Vasco? Really?
Vasco Dias: Tell. Me. I’m. Wrong.
{Hideaki climbs the ring steps, wiping his feet on the apron, and grabs the top rope before slingshotting himself in, landing on his feet and looking around at the crowd with a huge smile on his face. He nods to them, taking a few steps forward before spinning in place and throwing a fist up as he leans against the opposite ropes, smile still wide on his face. He steps back into a corner, testing the ropes, and waits for the bell, bouncing on the soles of his feet with energy and determination on his face.}
Terri Morasco: A great exhibition of four young, hungry wrestlers—
Vasco Dias: Oh, Craven’s hungry alright. Fight for your food, big boy!
Terri Morasco: Talk over me again to insult the talent, Vasco, see what happens.
Vasco Dias: Fowler will protect me. Fowler loves me.
Terri Morasco: Are you sure about that?
{The two teams sort out their starting members, with Jack volunteering for his team and Hideaki doing the same. The bell rings, and the two surge together, locking up before Hideaki twists Jack into a standing wristlock. Jack struggles against the hold for a moment, and Hideaki drives an elbow down into Jack’s arm before stepping under and snapping the arm off of his shoulder! Jack staggers, clutching his elbow, and Hideaki feints a quick roundhouse kick, getting Jack to bite and lean backwards before dropping into a sweep kick that drops Jack to a sitting position! Hideaki hits the ropes and nails a quick running dropkick to Jack’s face, coming to his feet and delivering a quick standing moonsault! Cover! ONE! Kickout!}
Terri Morasco: Nice opening flurry from Kazama, showing that athletic prowess that drew the attention of IWF management.
Vasco Dias: He can start showy, but finishing is the most important part of all.
{Hideaki goes right back to the arm, twisting it into an overhead wristlock on Jack. Jack grits his teeth, struggling, and stomps on the foot of Hideaki to get a break, yanking him into a wristlock of his own. Jack kicks at the back of Hideaki’s knee, forcing him down, and twists into a shoulder lock, wrenching on the left shoulder. Hideaki struggles, trying to work his way free, and Jack replies by cuffing Hideaki upside the head, turning it into a wrenching side headlock right over the ear.}
Terri Morasco: Ferriman’s taking a more controlled approach to his aggression tonight, wouldn’t you say?
Vasco Dias: It’s a tenacious grinder’s style, and it’s the best route to take against someone who’s a cardio lunatic like Kazama. Work them down bit by bit, don’t let them draw you into a match where they get to test your stamina right back.
{Jack fires a kneelift into Hideaki’s midsection, clubbing him across the shoulderblades as he releases the headlock, and hits the ropes, delivering a knee drop to Hideaki’s back as he tries to stand. Jack hauls Hideaki into a quick cover! ONE! Hideaki kicks out, and Jack grabs his arm, kicking at the left shoulder a few times before dragging him into the corner and holding out a hand for Abraxes to tag in. The bigger man gleefully does, stepping through and firing a boot into Hideaki’s ribs. Abraxes bulls Hideaki into the corner, firing a trio of knees into his ribs, and hauls him out by the arm, dragging him into a short-arm clothesline! Cover! ONE! TWO! KICKOUT!}
Terri Morasco: Hideaki Kazama has been taking a massive beating early on here! He needs to get some separation and start on the offense, quickly!
Vasco Dias: If this keeps up, we could be looking at an early night for these teams!
{Abraxes hammers Hideaki as he stands, going to Irish whip him off the ropes. Hideaki leaps as he comes off, looking for a crossbody, but Abraxes catches him and launches Hideaki halfway across the ring with a fallaway slam! Laughing, Abraxes twists around and crawls over, grabbing Hideaki’s head and beginning to rain down a series of headbutts! The referee steps in to admonish Abraxes for grabbing the hair, and after a brief moment he does it again, laying in several more headbutts! The referee actually pulls Abraxes back, shouting at him, and Abraxes pushes past to deliver more punishment. He grabs Hideaki by his hair, dragging him up, and slings him into the corner again, tagging Jack in before burying his boot in Hideaki’s throat. Chance shouts at the two from across the ring, but is powerless to stop Jack from laying in a quick boot, doubling Hideaki over, and hauling him in for a TURNBUCKLE POWERBOMB! Cover! ONE! TWO! THR—CRAVEN BREAKS IT UP!}
Terri Morasco: What a close count there! Chance Craven did well to intervene when he did, or this match could have been over!
Vasco Dias: Craven’s got a lot of power behind him, and even a broken clock is right twice a day, Terri.
{Hideaki clutches his throat, coughing, as Jack drags him to his feet, looking to scoop Hideaki up onto his shoulders. Hideaki blocks the lift, though, driving an elbow down into the back of Jack’s neck. Another follows, and another, causing Ferriman to stumble back, and Hideaki stumbles back, twirling and driving a solebutt deep into the gut of Jack as he charges! Hideaki fires off a quick upkick, snapping Jack’s head back, and when Jack swings wildly Hideaki blocks it, responding with a big European uppercut! He twists into a spinning back elbow that swings Jack about one hundred and eighty degrees, and as if on instinct wraps his arms around Jack’s midsection, flinging him with a German suplex to complete the PINCER COMBO! Both men are down, and the referee checks between the two as Chance leans over the ropes, begging for the tag!}
Terri Morasco: The big man wants in, and this might be the best opportunity his team has to get back into things! Kazama needs to tag Chance in, posthaste!
Vasco Dias: Ohh, it’s desperate but it’s true! You want that trip to the pay window, big man? Fight for it!
{Hideaki rolls onto his stomach, crawling elbow over elbow towards his corner. Jack, for his part, makes his way groggily to his knees, shuffling one by one towards Abraxes, who stands impassively in his corner. Jack makes it to Abraxes, managing to tag the masked man in JUST AS HIDEAKI PUSHES HIMSELF FORWARD AND TAGS IN CHANCE CRAVEN! The two big men enter the ring at the same time, rushing each other, and Chance hurls himself forward into a big takedown, taking Abraxes down and beginning to rain massive hammerblow fists down on him! Abraxes fires a headbutt into Chance’s nose to get him to back off, pushing himself up again, and the two men surge forward, beginning to trade wild right hands to the delight of the crowd!}
Terri Morasco: We’ve got ourselves a good old-fashioned heavyweight slugfest going on here! Both of these men are relatively fresh, and their might is their blessing! It’s turning into pandemonium here!
Vasco Dias: It’s like watching two barely-shaved bears fight each other! I feel like this should be illegal!
{Chance uses his superior size to bear down on Abraxes, punch-kicking his way to the ropes, and goes to whip him off. Abraxes blocks the whip, but Chance tries again, determined. This time, he gets it, but Abraxes ducks under the wild clothesline that Craven throws, flinging himself off with a huge crossbody block! Both men spill over each other, stumbling to their feet, and Abraxes kicks Chance in the gut, whipping him into the corner and following in with a massive clothesline! Chance staggers out a bit before dropping to a seated position, and Abraxes takes a few steps back, hushing the crowd before running in and crushing Chance against the bottom turnbuckle with a cannonball senton! Cover! ONE! TWO! KICKOUT!}
Terri Morasco: That country boy strength isn’t just good for offense, and Chance powers his way out of that predicament!
Vasco Dias: I think this is where Abraxes’ superior in-ring experience is really going to show. Chance is powerful, but Abraxes can use the environment to his advantage and bring his own strength to bear.
{Abraxes drags Chance to his feet, firing a big forearm strike into the Texan. Chance shakes his head, uncorking a right of his own, and the two men trade blows again before Abraxes rears back to deliver another headbutt. This time, though, Chance palms his face, shaking his head, and fires a quick left to the gut, doubling Abraxes over. Hideaki cheers from the apron as Chance twists the big man into an armbar, walking him over to his team’s corner, and gingerly tags in Hideaki. Hideaki ushers him away from the ropes, and Chance confusedly walks Abraxes back towards the center, only to see why when Hideaki hurls himself through the ropes with the HARPOON! Cover on Abraxes! ONE! TWO! THR—BROKEN UP BY JACK FERRIMAN!}
Terri Morasco: Another big move, and another big save! Jack Ferriman doesn’t want this to be over like that, not so soon!
Vasco Dias: Saving the match means he gets to make more of an impact! I like it!
{Hideaki drags Abraxes to his feet, backing him up against the ropes and whipping him off. Hideaki wrenches the bigger man over with a deep arm drag, catching him as he scrambles up with a big dropkick, and lets out a cry of fury, running the ropes and looking for the KUSANAGI lariat! Hideaki hits the ropes near his corner, and Chance blind tags in. Hideaki doesn’t even register it, and Abraxes manages to sidestep the move, letting Jack Ferriman low bridge him out of the ring! Shocked, Chance moves to enter, only for Abraxes to snap his throat off the top rope and drag him in bodily for the HUSH hanging DDT! Abraxes drags the big man up, visibly straining, but muscles him onto his shoulders, bringing Chance crashing to the mat with the CONSIGN TO DREAM crucifix powerbomb! Jack dives off the apron onto Hideaki, preventing him from intervening as Abraxes covers! ONE! TWO! THREE! “Monster (Under My Bed)” begins to play as Abraxes crawls off the cover, laughing.}
Alison Valance: Here are your winners, Jack Ferriman and Abraxes!
Terri Morasco: What a huge victory here for two of the most aggressive men in IWF! Abraxes with a powerful statement ahead of this Sunday’s pay-per-view!
Vasco Dias: The opening that he won with wouldn’t have happened without Jack Ferriman’s help. I don’t like the idea of these two working together in the slightest.
Terri Morasco: I’ve got to agree with you, Vasco, they—what the hell? It doesn’t look like we’re done here!
{Indeed, Abraxes has rolled to the outside and ducked under the ring, retrieving a steel chair, and is stalking the exhausted Hideaki Kazama on the outside with a malicious glint visible through his mask’s eyeholes. He winds up for a huge swing, and the gasp of the crowd is enough to alert Hideaki to duck, sending the lethal swing flying overhead! He spins around, and Abraxes brings the chair swinging back the other way, forcing Hideaki to jump back. Hideaki leaps into a dropkick that drives the chair back into Abraxes’ face, but it only seems to stun the big man for a moment, and he even laughs, winding up for another swing…just as security spills forth and separates the two men! Both look frustrated, Hideaki visibly so and Abraxes in his body language, even decking a security guard with the chair before he’s restrained!}
Terri Morasco: What is WRONG with Abraxes?! He doesn’t know when to stop!
Vasco Dias: He wants to inflict pain, and he doesn’t care about having a match to do it in! That’s the secret, Terri! He’s always evil!
{We go to commercial break as the two men are held apart, Hideaki shouting in Japanese and Abraxes just laughing his ass off.}
------------------------------------
SINGLES MATCH Dawn Halliwell vs Kai Sachiko
------------------------------------
Alison Valance: The following contest is scheduled for ONE FALL! Terri Morasco: We have Dawn with her return to the ring here tonight. Vasco Dias: Kai is barely worthy of fighting a Kane. {As soon as her music turns on she is rushing the ramp. She will stand on the ring post and point to herself while talking in her native tongue before pounding on her shoulder to show she is ready to go.}
Alison Valance: On her way down to the ring first, weighing in at 136 pounds Osaka, Osaka Prefecture, Japan Kai Sachiko!
Vasco Dias: Kai is certainly hard to read. She has a following which is beyond me. Terri Morasco: People love her. She has good ring presence.
{Lights dim as the opening riffs to Shoot to Thrill hit, and flashes of white light begin to pulse along with the music as it picks up pace. The stage fills with dry ice as Dawn steps out from backstage, smiling manically and rocking out to the music. She points to the crowd and tries to get them pumped up. When the chorus hits, she raises her fists in the air as she lets out a shout of excitement punctuated by a blast of simple white pyro around her. She holds that pose until the second iteration of "Shoot to Thrill" in the chorus, at which point she charges into the ring and slides in, spinning with the momentum to her feet as she urges the crowd to get to their feet and rock along with her. After a few moments she will settle into her corner.} Alison Valance: and finally on her way down to the ring, weighing in at 125 pounds Salem Dawn Halliwell! Terri Morasco: Dawn back from her time away and the crowd sure sounds happy to see her. Vasco Dias: IWF should always have a Kane. {Kai is pacing back and forth, talking in Japanese. The Ref takes a step back and calls for the bell. The two women walk out of their corner and slowly circle each other. Kai steps forward and hits Dawn in the chest, starts talking loudly, moving back and forth in the ring still talking. Dawn hits her with a Snap Suplex.} Vasco Dias: Oh come on! Terri Morasco: Dawn not wasting anytime then… {Dawn lock in the LIVING DEAD GIRL. Kai struggles but goes for the tap!!} Vasco Dias: Boo. That count was quick! Quick I tell you! Terri Morasco: It really wasn’t. Alison Valance: Your winner Dawn Halliwell! {Dawn releases Kai and stands up as Shoot to Thrill, Halestorm starts playing. Dawn offers her hand to Kai and helps her back up, shaking her hand as we cut to commercial.}
------------------------------------
SEGMENT Warren Kane asked about his return
------------------------------------
{Warren stands in front of the door of a lockerroom.}
Warren Kane: I know there isn’t an easy way to begin this.
{Warren puts his hands in the pockets of his jeans.}
Warren Kane: I’m not who I was when I left. Be honest I don’t really remember most of it. Little I do …
{Warren shakes his head.}
Warren Kane: I hurt a lot of people. A lot of people were hurt because of me. I can’t sit by and not do anything about that. Have to do something to make up for it.
{Warren looks at the camera.}
Warren Kane: It will be hard. It might even be impossible.
{Warren sighs.}
Warren Kane: But I’m not my father. I am not going to take the easy way.
------------------------------------
HEIRESS TO THE THRONE ”Fight Four Survival” Over The Top Rope Elimination Battle Royale Final two competitors will earn enough points to guarantee semi final advancement. Final rank order and point distribution will be determined by not only who wins this match, but also prior overall tournament performance. The other participants will have their points unaffected. Kimberly Jackson vs Fiona McFly vs Emma Danielson vs Mandi Matthews vs Candy Kane vs Amber Cooke
------------------------------------
Alison Valance: Next up we have the ”Fight Four survival” Over The Top Rope Elimination Battle Royale for the semi-finals of the Heiress to the throne!
Vasco Dias: We have four women all with something to prove, that’s for certain.
Terri Morasco: It’s a chance to make it into the final match of the heiress to the throne. People would kill for that.
{As the music starts Candy struts down the ramp before climbing into the ropes posing for the crowd.}
Alison Valance: On her way down to the ring first, weighing in at 120 pounds Candy Kane!
Vasco Dias: Candy certainly has been making a name for herself lately. The situation with Steve Awesome included.
Terri Morasco: I can’t imagine Zelda is thrilled with that.
{ "Black Vultures" by Halestorm hits the PA system hard as the crowd pops. The lights in the arena begin to strobe as Kimberly Jackson runs out onto the stage and does a little shadow boxing routine as pyro ignites behind her. She struts down the entrance ramp and rolls in under the bottom rope, jumping to her feet and throw a jab/cross combo at the hard camera. }
Alison Valance: Next on her way to the ring, weighing in at 130 pounds from Los Angeles, California, Kimberly Jackson!
Terri Morasco: Kimberly has more than proved herself while in the IWF and even though you might not like her attitude you have to admit she’s dedicated.
Vasco Dias: There is nothing wrong with her attitude. She respects those who came before her and has no time for old has-beens.
{Umbrella by All Time Low starts rocking the speakers as Mandi Matthews steps out onto the stage, a bit overwhelmed in a good way by all the people and there warm reception. She jams a bit to the music and then she jogs down to the ring as the chorus plays.}
Because when the sun shines we'll shine together Told you I'll be here forever Said I'll always be your friend Took an oath I'ma stick it out 'til the end
{She slides into the ring and jams out the song with the crowd as they chant along.}
Now that it's raining more than ever Know that we'll still have each other You can stand under my umbrella You can stand under my umbrella-ella-ella-ay-ay-ay Under my umbrella-ella-ella-ay-ay-ay
{The music slowly fades as Mandi smiles at the crowd.}
Alison Valance: From Detroit, MI, weighing 165 pounds…MANDI MATTHEWS!
Terri Morasco: Mandi has had a hard year but she’s looking to turn it all around right now.
Vasco Dias: If she can make it to the final two she can get her way into the Heiress to the throne semifinal.
{The opening riff of “Slave to the Grind” plays as Emma Danielson walks out onto the stage, cracking her neck with a grin on her face. She rolls her wrists, eyes scanning the audience before she walks down to the ring, fistbumping with members of the audience. As she reaches the end of the entranceway, Emma speeds up, jumping and sliding beneath the bottom rope. She rolls to her feet, walking over to the corner, and climbs the turnbuckles, letting out a roar of joy that the crowd returns. Emma hops down off the turnbuckle, reaching over and testing the ropes before leaning back in the corner with a grin on her face as she waits for the bell.}
Alison Valance: weighing in at 157 pounds, Emma Danielson !
Vasco Dias: Emma has called Kimberly out on the carpet here tonight and I can’t wait for them to lay into each other.
Terri Morasco: Of course that’s what you would focus on.
{ A video package begins playing to a rock-remix version of Rachel Platten's "Fight Song," showing a montage of Fiona McFly at various stages of her life including home movie footage of the famous 1994 go-kart race in the Texas Hill Country. We see photos of Fiona from her high school and college graduation ceremonies until we finally see an image of her standing next to the late Jack Gaither on their wedding day. The black-and-white photo fades down into a distorted image as the initial tune becomes slowed down, like a phonograph. Then... }
"ONE! TWO!! ONE-TWO!!! ONE-TWO-THREE-FOUR!!!!"
{ ...a blast of pyro goes off as the Halestorm song "Love Bites (So Do I) kicks into high gear. We see Fiona hopping onto the stage with a rugged smile on her face, looking around at the cheering crowd as she twirls a replica of her trusty bullwhip around and around. }
"Don't listen what your girlfriend says She reads those magazines That say you fail the test You don't have what she needs I'll slither like a viper And get you by the neck I know a thousand ways to help you forget about her
That chick can eat her heart out Love bites, but so do I, so do I Love bites, but so do I, so do I Love bites..."
{ She strolls down the rampway, hugging and high-fiving folks along the way before handing the replica whip to a child as a souvenir. }
Alison Valance: down to the ring at 5’8’’ and weighing in at 135 pounds… Fiona McFly
Terri Morasco: Fiona has made amazing progress in the heiress to the throne tournament here this year.
Vasco Dias: But will it be enough?
{ The guitars of "War Eternal" start up and the arena is bathed in lights for a minute before Amber comes stalking as the first main riff kicks in, walking at an almost blasting pace, ignoring the crowd as she goes, sliding under the bottom rope to climb a turnbuckle and start jawing to the assembled masses before hopping off and jawing to everyone else and taking her Jacket and dog tags off to hang on a corner. Before spinning to face her opponent, or the entry way.}
Alison Valance: and last to the ring… AMBER COOKE!
Terri Morasco: Amber has been pretty quiet leading up to this match.
Vasco Dias: She doesn’t need words.
{The women stand in the ring looking at each other waiting for the bell to ring. There is a moment where the camera focuses on each of their faces before the bell goes off} Terri Morasco: There doesn’t seem to be much love lost between most of these women. Vasco Dias: Of course there isn’t! These women barely know each other. {The bell rings. Fiona goes straight for Kimberly, hitting her with a Scoop Slam. Mandi goes for Emma with a spinning heel kick, but Emma ducks out quickly and into Amber, hitting her with a tiltawhirl side slam. Mandi turns to watch Fiona hit Kimberly with a Snap suplex before Amber hits her with a backbreaker!} Terri Morasco: Seems Mandi is biding her time to see how this turns out. Vasco Dias: The smart move if you ask me! An early big move from Fiona shows she’s not planning on messing around tonight! {Just as it look like Fiona is going to make it into a Spinning wheel kick when Candy hits her with a double foot stomp , Emma grabs Amber and tosses her over the ropes with a Military press slam hitting her both down to the matt.} Vasco Dias: Amber is the first one out! {Fiona rolls away, clearly in pain. Mandi grabs Kimberly by the leg before tossing her over the rope.} Terri Morasco: Kimberly second out! Vasco Dias: Boo! {Mandi waits until Candy stands up shakily to hit her with a missile drop kick, knocking her to the matt on the outside.}
Terri Morasco: Mandi got the second elimination out of the fight! Vasco Dias: That leaves us with just three women left. This could make the difference {Emma hits Mandi with a Last Round followed by a gutwrench suplex. Terri Morasco: Emma going after Mandi! {Emma smirks at Fiona, and before Fiona can react Emma wheels around and hits the DETOXIFIER on Mandi!}
Terri Morasco: Oh no! Vasco Dias: could this be it? {Emma goes to eliminate Mandi but Fiona pops up and shoves the other women out of the ring as well. "Love Bites (So Do I) (clean)" -Halestorm hits the speaker loud. Fiona smiles widely.}
Alison Valance: moving on to the heiress to the throne semi finals are Emma and Fiona!
------------------------------------
SEGMENT Champions and Challengers sign off in the largest contract signing in company history for the Extinction Event ------------------------------------
{ We come back from commercial break to the main event for the evening, the single largest contract signing in the history of the company. In the center of the ring dividing it is an extra long table, the champions and challengers are all accounted for. Being InFamous occupies one corner, Jake and Kathy Conway another, wrapped up in each other’s arms, apparently unconcerned with everything else, going on around them. Charity Crowne sneers from the outside as Gabriella leans in her own corner smirk, Bob has his eyes locked on Steve while Booklyn is keeping an eye on everyone, Rosa seems to be the odd one out as she hovers near the Conways and Almir paces on the outside with Haseem. Eternity stands on the other side of the barricade, next to the timekeeper, where she seems most comfortable. A considerable distance from her contemporaries and the contract itself. }
Terri Morasco: How long before this ends in disaster?
Vasco Dias: I say the second Steve Awesome says literally anything.
Terri Morasco: That was my guess.
{ Rob is the first one to speak up. }
Rob Diamond: I just wanna say, Steve, James and I-
Almir Sayed: WHO CARES!?
{ Almir hops up on the apron with a mic. }
Terri Morasco: Here we go.
Almir Sayed: No body cares about your little lovers quarrel! Haseem do you care? Gabriella do you care? Brooklyn do you care? I am positive Eternity doesn't care!
{ They all shake their heads. }
Terri Morasco: These two are going to be partners next week!?
Vasco Dias: And Almir wants the champions focused on the challengers, not their in fighting!
Almir Sayed: No body cares! What we, the champions, care about is whether your head is in the game, Diamond.
{ Rob approaches Almir. }
Rob Diamond: Oh my head is in the game.
Almir Sayed: Is it? Because it seems like you're far more concerned with patching up your relationship instead of focusing on defend your title against that cretin, James Gilmore!
{ Rob moves like he's going to make a swing but Almir jumps off the apron and Steve and James both stop him. James, the whole time, has his eyes focused on Rob. They have been through so much in 2019, and in Gilmore's mind, this would not have been possible without that match between each other at Survival of the Fittest 2018. The onlyway to return the favor of allowing for this moment to happen is to step back in that ring, one year later, and give him everything he's got.}
Rosa Deluca: Ragazzi, ragazzi, siete entrambi carini.
{Rosa puts herself between the in- fighting faction}
Rosa DeLuca: There will be time for that at the Extinction event, yes? Let’s try to keep things civil.
{ Gilmore, wearing a Philadelphia Eagles cap and his metallic blue Dallas Cowboys Dak Prescott jersey, politely takes the pen and signs on the dotted line, his eyes focused on Rob as he realizes what they've been building to in 2019. Steve grabs the microphone and is met with a loud "ASSHOLE!" chant. }
Steve Awesome: Hey, hold up. Don’t I get a chance to speak?
{Steve Awesome pushes up to the front of the group as the crowd boos.}
Terri Morasco: Id rather he didn’t. Everything was holding together.
Vasco Dias: The SeXtreme Champion deserves to speak. Do you even know how many times Steve has defended that belt?
Terri Morasco: Do you even know who he defended that belt against?
Vasco Dias: Well yeah there was Dean Harper and Dean Harper….
Terri Morasco: And who else?
Vasco Dias: Unmmm
Terri Morasco: Yeah so shut it.
Steve Awesome: You know, a few weeks back after soundly defeating the great and legendary Nighthawk, I went into Ed’s office, and I told him I wanted a real challenge. Now this…..this is a real challenge. Well it’s supposed to be except it’s not really because on the other side of the table we got a has been, an idiot, and the head coach for little league wrestling.”
{He smirks as he turns and looks at the ladies on the challenger side.}
Steve Awesome: I’m sorry ladies, I didn’t bother to find out who you are so I got no insults prepared for you. Besides you see that over there?
{Steve points at Eternity.}
Steve Awesome: Y’all gotta deal with that colorful psychopath….
{Steve gives her a quick once over and a wink. In response, Eternity cocks her head to the side, and then bats her eyes at him.}
Steve Awesome: Speaking of…..
{Steve starts walking toward Eternity but Rob stops him.}
Rob Diamond: Dude, dont die before you get in the cage.
{Steve decides Rob is right and goes back to the contract as he does he notices Bob just glaring a murderous hole into him.}
Steve Awesome: As for you, you mad Bob? You mad because your little baby bird stepped out into the real world and had a little accident? I came up with a new gimmick and some merch for the kid.”
{Steve unzips his hoodie and reveals a t-shirt with the image of Miles coming over the rope rope just before he fell and seriously injured himself. Directly above it are the words “The Plunge”}
Steve Awesome: I call him The Plunge.
{Steve laughs at his own joke. Steve leans over the contract and into Bobs face and Bob does his best to contain himself.}
Steve Awesome: You mad Bob? You wanna kill me? Many have tried, and yet I’m still here. For some damn reason I’m still fucking here. I’m going to send you back to the busted ass performance center with your pride shattered, Pooler. And maybe Ill go down there myself and maybe I’ll beat up another one of your precious babies. Really the only question you’ll have to ask Bob….”
{Steve signs his name on the dotted line.}
Steve Awesome: What kid will I beat up next?
{Steve goes to smirk but he eats a punch and Bob is quickly over the table pounding away as a brawl ensues.}
Terri Morasco: Bob Pooler needed to make sure Steve signed that contract and now all hell has broken loose!
Vasco Dias: It’s a crazy all out go home brawl!
{ As the brawl spills onto the arena floor, a wave of Redshirts race on down the aisle to control the madness. Fists and boots continue flying in all directions as the sea of humanity winds up congregating towards the backstage area...that is, except for James Gilmore and Rob Diamond! The Philly crowd leaps to its feet as the founding members of Being Infamous stare each other down, eyeballs clicked and ears opened at the noise surrounding them. }
Vasco Dias: You gotta be kiddin' me!?! You gotta be bleepin' kiddin' me!?!
Terri Morasco: JJ and Rob are at a standoff! This is definitely a happening!!
Vasco Dias: I can't hear you! I can't hear you!! It's like brother against brother!!!
Terri Morasco: This place has gone bananas! Who would've dreamed that THIS would happen!?! James Gilmore, Rob Diamond, Extinction Event--"A Year in the Making!!"
Vasco Dias: And I STILL can't hear you...!!!
{ As the copyright banner appears at the bottom of our screens, we see the image of Rob Diamond and James Gilmore--the unlikeliest of duos who wrestled each other around this same time last year--standing face-to-face a year later as we fade to black! }
