Bleacher Report has spent some time with the IWF brass recently in the build up to their Man of Steel gimmicked pay-per-view event: Extreme Endurance. The pay per view will feature every singles championship on the line, but breaking the norm, they will have the Man of Steel Championship headlining the event, rather than the Imperial Championship. However, kicking off the event (post-pre show of course) is a rematch that's been begging to happen for some time. A rematch of one of the Heir to the Throne semi-finals: Joe Everyman (the eventual winner of the Heir to the Throne tournament and the inaugural Imperial Champion) versus Cable Arcane (who is said to be wrestling against doctors orders, you can find our article on Cable's facial injury suffered in the tag team championship match)
Arcane has said that he holds Joe Everyman personally responsible for his predicament, and not the man who burned his face himself. It may be a skewed view, but Arcane comes across as very believable, and full of conviction. It seems that Roberto Verona has hit the right cord by selecting Arcane to face him. It seems to be shaping up to be one hell of a blow off match for the first ever Extreme Endurance show, and we here at Bleacher Report are eagerly anticipating the show itself, and the match too. Our in-office poll has Arcane edging out at 64% but as we've seen in IWF, anything can happen, and anybody can beat anybody on any given day.
Let us know how you feel about this rematch in both our poll, and the comments section below.
