“Hey guys! IWF professional wrestler; Mandi Matthews here.”
We see her walking through what looks like a park.
“The last time you saw me wrestle, it was for a shot at the women’s world championship. And although I fought hard, I wasn’t able to secure the win. That’s okay. I’ve been hitting the gym and studying tape and when it’s time Ill be back in the ring and ready to go.”
She smiles and nods her head.
“Though, in the lead up to the match, I was asked what I would do to define the women’s world championship. My answer was that I would use my status and influence as champion to help people. I didn’t win the title, but I realized that I didn’t need a championship to start helping people.”
She smiles as the camera pans back to show she is carrying a long pitch fork and a garbage bag and she’s picking up trash in the park.
“I could just start helping people!”
She stabs the spike through some candy wrappers and throws it in the bag.
“So if you want to come out and enjoy the sun and help out, I’m organizing a big clean the park event, here in Michigan. It’s not exactly the world, but it’s a start, right?”
She shrugs.
“Or if you are more of a homebody you could always hop on the website and make a donation. All the info is all in the box below.”
She points down toward the bottom of the screen.
“Let’s get out there and do some good.”
She smiles and the YouTube clip ends and we find Mandi Matthews and a very pregnant Zelda Knite we’re watching the clip.
Mandi Matthews: Gosh, is my head really that big?
Mandi looks at her reflection in the screen to gauge how big it really was. Zelda tosses some popcorn in her mouth and smiles.
Zelda Knite: Yup.
Mandi stops and glares at Zelda who just smiles.
Zelda Knite: I’m just kidding. That was a great commercial. You did and looked fine. Don’t worry.”
Mandi Matthews: Hey thanks Z.
Zelda smiled but the happy seemed to trail off a bit as she considered what she was going to say next.
Zelda Knite: Mandi, there is something I wanted to ask you. I was thinking….maybe you should be the Godmother?
Mandi Matthews: What? Me?
Mandi tried to argue but Zelda shut her down quick.
Zelda Knite: Yes. You’ve been there for me and this baby more than anyone else. You’ve helped me through this crazy life experience called pregnancy when I had no idea what I was doing. You are already an amazing mother and…. a really amazing friend.”
Mandi smiles with small pools in her eyes.
Zelda Knite: Meanwhile the father is out Gallivanting in the streets with some hooker celebrating his world title win, doing lord knows what. Of course I can’t go, because I’m pregnant and can’t drink and I’ll just slow him down”
Zelda stops before she gets too emotional.
Mandi Matthews: You need to get out of that relationship, Zelda. I know it’s hard, but I can show you how it’s done.
Zelda Knite: Yeah, you just know everything, don’t you Mandi.
Zelda says, tears in her eye and a sharpness in her voice. Mandi looks confused.
Zelda Knite: ugh, I’m sorry….I’m getting hormonal. Let’s just not talk about that right now. Just answer the question. Will you be the godmother to my son?”
Mandi looks at Zeldas hopeful eyes and she couldn’t help but say yes.
Mandi Matthews: Id love to. I can’t wait to meet him.
The two friends hug each other.
Zelda Knite: Me either. Should be soon. I feel like I could pop.
Zelda grabs a can of soda to take a drink but then drops it and hunches over in pain for a few moments.
Zelda Knite: ohhhhh holy impeccable timing Batman, that hurts like hell!
Zelda looks up at a concerned Mandi.
Zelda Knite: I think I’m having a baby!!!
