Being InFamous: Don't call it a reboot (Roulette hype)

Danger Zone had come and gone.

{Steve Awesome appears from out of nowhere and shoves Gilmore out of the ring and to the floor! Steve turns around and pins Rob Diamond before Gilmore even knows what's happening. The ref slides into position. ONE! TWO! THREE! }

A new champion had been crowned.

{Steve Awesome drops to his knees and clutches all three titles and he spots Gilmore who is just staring. Steve Awesome just smiles and laughs at him.}

Rob Diamond’s reign at the top of the IWF mountain had come to an end but not in the way he had envisioned.

”What can I say besides I’m massively disappointed in myself and Steve Awesome?”

However, just because his run at the top is over doesn’t mean Rob Diamond is about to stop working.

{ We see Rob Diamond in a weighted body suit with a respirator mask jogging through hilly forest terrain. He leaps over fallen trees and sprints up hills, his lungs burn, his blood pumps. }

{ We see Rob at the Spike Kane Wrestling School, he’s still wearing the weighted body suit as he hits the ropes with everything he has over and over again. }

Rob Diamond - Has a one track mind
”Right now I’m focusing on my cardio. Getting my endurance up. It’s gonna take a lot more than wrestling ability to outlast 29 other hungry competitors in a match that can easily go an hour or more. I’m gonna be over prepared, there won’t be a man in this match who will be able to match me.”

Rob Diamond’s dream has always been to be the World Champion. Now that he’s accomplished that dream and cemented himself among the elite of professional wrestling you would think his hunger had subsided, but a new dream has taken over.

”He literally dreams about Steve Awesome and not in the hot, kinky sort of way. Pretty sure I woke up to him strangling his pillow yelling ‘die, Steve, die’ but hey, asshole got his fifteen minutes at the cost of their friendship.

Rob Diamond - Sextremely pissed
”And I don’t mean just the toes. I’m talking all the way up to the top of the tongue where I tuck the laces. Steve is gonna be shitting out wrestling boot particles for weeks.”

”Yeah, I’m a little worried about how hard he’s taking this…”

Steve Awesome and the IWF World Championship isn’t the only thing weighing heavy on Rob’s mind. For weeks now he and his doppelgangers have been the target of a mysterious foe calling himself, Cipher.

{ We transition to another shot, this time an entire locker room full of fallen Rob Diamond dopplegangers, each one hailing from a different reality. }

Rob knows this mysterious Cipher is lurking, eliminating the Rob Diamonds from across the multiverse one at a time.

Second of all, there’s an unlimited number of Rob Diamonds out there and you mess with one of us you get the whole goddamn League of Extraordinary Diamonds!”

”If this supposed Cipher wishes to topple the King he best aim for the head!... The head being prime universe Rob Diamond because let’s be honest, I have a dark family to support and this gig really doesn’t pay that well.”

Of course the Roulette is a pathway to many returns and surprises some consider to be unnatural. That is why Rob’s full attention will be on the Roulette and any Cipher’s who may be looking to make an impact.

”I’m gonna be straight up with you, if this Cipher has at least a half a ball dangling between his legs then he better show his face at the Roulette and fight me like a goddamn man. Because I’m not playing this hide and go seek bullshit anymore. I’m easy to find brother, locker room has my name on it, I live in Spike’s old mansion. Look me up because I’m not about to back down from a fight.”

”And if you could stop targeting the rest of us we would really appreciate it, eh?”

Time will tell how this journey will end but one thing is for certain, Rob Diamond is more determined than ever to reclaim his throne and ball shot some assholes along the way.
