Diamonds Are ForeverDecember 20th 2020 Sears Centre Arena â Chicago, Illinois ------------------------------------- SEGMENT
All Female Preshow-------------------------------------{The camera pans through the crowd while Diamonds - By Megan Thee Stallion, Normani, the official song of Diamonds Are Forever as the camera goes over the crowd a couple of different signs are caught, âFATEâ âLongtime booking concurs allâ âI wanna be a part of Being Infamousâ âMore than blood!â âStep on meâ âCompanyâs coming; add a cup of water to the soupâ âwelcome back to Spooky Bitch centralâ âVirginiaâs gonna kill you â âShould Cals be here? â âMy Gay Ass is dying tonightâ}Dawn Halliwell: What is up motherfuckers? You ready for the all-female pay per view. Maybe something interesting will happen tonight. Maybe there will be something to remind people why the women in IWF are some of the fucking best? {Crowd cheers}Dawn Halliwell: I am Dawn motherfucking Halliwell. I was selected to be on this pay per view preshow panel. Baddass, right? Iâm a former champion and current manager of my half brother, gay disaster and co-hero of the year, Warren Kane. Vivienne Rodgers: Should you be wearing so much? Dawn Halliwell: Let me live my life, Viv. Vivienne Rodgers: Okay. Hi, Iâm Vivienne Rodgers. Former champion. Currently ⌠not doing anything but recovering from injuries I guess. Astrid Hall: Astrid Hall. Former champion. Mother. Shield Maiden. Dawn Halliwell: And step-mom. Shea OâHara: Iâm Shea OâHara...and Iâm not as dead as certain people would like to believe. Hey, Rowan⌠{Shea waves mockingly, winking. Confident in herself as one of the only few women in company history to have beaten both Eternity and Rowan one on one.}
Shea OâHara: And at the rate you keep trying to kill my friends around here, youâre racking up quite a debt. Donât make me come and collect...Iâve done it before⌠{Shea winks at Vivienne.}Shea OâHara: And Iâm not afraid to do it again... Astrid Hall: Always good to see you, shield sister. Dawn Halliwell: Hi Shea. Nice to see you. Vivienne Rodgers: This is nice. I like ths. Shea OâHara: Glad to be here, on a panel with all of my friends, no less. Including my bestie, who I know will be back sooner than Rowan thinks, Iâll make sure of it... Dawn Halliwell: Alright, so letâs start off with the beginning match. Amber Cooke versus Zelda "Spoony Bard" Simpson. How bad do we think this is going to go? Vivienne Rodgers: Zelda is one of the new trained people from the Being Infamous school, right? Astrid Hall: That is the rumor. I have seen Amber Cooke in the ring. We might not be on the best of terms but she hits hard. I think itâs a little unfair to send someone so new against someone as intense as Amber. Shea OâHara: Amberâs going to straight up murder a Chef, itâs going to be delicious. Vivienne Rodgers: Amber hits pretty hard. It would be a shock if Zelda won this but maybe thatâs what they are hoping on? That Amber will underestimate her? Dawn Halliwell: Sheâs dead. Zelda is going to die. F in the chat for Zelda. Shea OâHara: Zelda is outmatched, a legitimate military badass against a glorified Chef? This isnât Under Siege 3. This is real life and in this business, people get hurt... Dawn Halliwell: Just being honest. Vivienne Rodgers: Next is Fate, Fiona McFly and Samira Hamilton. How do we think this is going to go? Dawn Halliwell: Jesus. Like, Fiona was a world champ. You donât have to like her but you got to admit she has the advantage here. Astrid Hall: Fate is a wild card. This could be her moment to really surprise everyone. I think she has a chance to really pull it off here. Vivienne Rodgers: Fiona certainly has something to prove here. Shea OâHara: I canât stand Fiona, and Fate canât string together wins, so I think Samiraâs got this one pretty easy... Astrid Hall: Next we have Cals Jacobsen versus Virginia for a chance to face the world champion at Metamorphosis. Dawn Halliwell: Bitch of the year versus the heroine of the year. Love to see it. I feel like Virginia is going to kick Cals ass. Love to Cals but Virginia wants to get her hands on the world champion way more. Vivienne Rodgers: I think you are selling Cals a little short. They are badass and they could totally pull this out to get a chance at the world title. Shea OâHara: Virginia certainly has been more vocal lately about either possible Womenâs World Champion. It will be interesting to see if she has what it takes to make it to Metamorphosis next month and really put her money where her mouth is. Personally though, I want it to be Cals. Astrid Hall: I have not faced Cals on the field of combat. But I have faced Virginia. She is a true warrior. Shea OâHara: Guess itâs my turn, Imperial Diamond Match with Rowan and Jess. Astrid Hall: I do not want either woman to win this match but there is nothing I can do about that. Rowan is a monster. Jess has sold her values. Vivienne Rodgers: Itâs a hard job to beat Rowan and Iâm not sure Jessâ mind is on the task. But maybe sheâs just playing into the narrative and she will pull this out. Shea OâHara: Iâm instituting my âAnybody but Rowanâ rule here. Dawn Halliwell: Fuck em. But yeah, Rowan is going to kick Jessâ ass. Vivienne Rodgers: Then we have the main event⌠Abigail versus Eternity. Man, I do not like this. I am so worried about Abigail. Shea OâHara: Itâs going to be a tough climb for Abigail, quite literally in fact, but if she can pull this off, it will be yet another career redefining moment, and we saw at Lineage a few months ago that sheâs more than capable of pulling those off with her renewed focus and sense of conviction. Astrid Hall: You never know what Eternity is thinking. Abigail needs to be on her guard to handle someone like Eternity. Dawn Halliwell: I know Iâm in the minority here. But Eternity is not the worst option to face. She helps people. Maybe not with the gentle hand but sheâs trying. I think she didnât mean anything by the attack last week and it will be a fair fight. Vivienne Rodgers: Thatâs all the time we have here tonight. Thanks for watching the preshow! -------------------------------------SEGMENTBeen Awhile-------------------------------------{Static on the screen as TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES is shown followed by the iconic multi color screen. Then blackness.} Is this thing fucking working? {Smacking is heard as the feed finally turns to Fate. She sighs and sits back. Cold beer in her hand as she sips her whiskey in another.}
Been a while huh? *{slurps on her beer}* You know being nice has gotten me shit. I lost to Fiona twice in the Heiress to the shit, whatever the fuck itâs called. *{chugs the rest of her beer and crushes the can on her forehead}* I needed a damn refresher course in how to win. Might I say I passed with flying colors. Working on my deficiencies. Yâall motherfuckers better wait. Iâm going guns blazing at this Diamond are bullshit thing. I donât give a fuck anymore.
{She gets up and walks over the mini fridge and grabs another beer. The environment is very minute. All you can see is a couch, a mini fridge, and Fate. She cracks her neck. Her once slender figure is now more voluptuous. Her arms are fuller. Muscle is in places that it once wasnât. After grabbing her beer, she steps back over the couch and sits down.}
Like I fucking said, I ainât doing shit for anyone. Iâm gonna focus on me. Iâm gonna destroy whatever bitch is in front of me. Iâm stronger, faster, and more cunning. No more rookie ass mistakes. Iâm not a little green ring worker anymore. *pops the tab on her beer and takes a big swig of it* Fucking Eternity! Another fucking three way too! Iâm tired of this shit. Get Entangled with Fate or whatever bull shit I said before. No more nice bitch. I went off grid for a reason.
{Her clothes are worn. Stains on them too. She gets up and grabs the camera.}
Yâall better be worried about Draco. Heâs off his chain now. *chugs the whiskey thatâs left* I ainât dealing with that. AND THE LAST FUCKING THING-
{Static is followed by TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES.} ------------------------------------- SINGLES MATCH Amber Cooke vs Zelda "Spoony Bard" Simpson
-------------------------------------
{ The Final Fantasy X version of "The Prelude" kicks in as Zelda Simpson strolls into the arena, playing Pokemon GO on her iPhone 12 -- much to the crowd's laughter. Once she approaches the ring, an attendant calmly reminds her that it's time to wrestle...so she gently hands him the gadget and prepares to wait for her opposition. }
Terri Morasco: Merry Christmas! Happy Hanukkuh! Happy Kwanzaa! Whatever you might celebrate, the holiday season is in full swing as we celebrate IWF's biggest all-female pay-per-view!
Vasco Dias: Diamonds are Forever! And hoo-boy...we've got ourselves a mismatch already!
{ We cut to the announcer's desk to see that Caroline Machado, the newest signee from the All Infamous Academy, sitting next to Vasco and Terri. }
Terri Morasco: We are delighted to have a very special guest with us, the first ever recruit from the new All Infamous Academy to sign an IWF contract -- Caroline Machado!
Vasco Dias: Technically, the second!
Caroline Machado: NĂŁo! Zelda Simpson estĂĄ no nosso time interno! Ela nĂŁo estĂĄ listada como estagiĂĄria... (No! Zelda Simpson is on our in-house team! She is not listed as a trainee...)
{ Terri picks up on Caroline's tone, despite the language barrier. }
Terri Morasco: Hrmm, wow...I do hear, however, that Zelda's got a first-degree brown belt in the Shotokan karate discipline. Anyways...Caroline, it's an honor to have you with us here tonight!
Caroline Machado: (in broken English) Thank you!
Terri Morasco: I understand that our 2020 co-Hero of the Year, James Gilmore, is helping you to improve your English. I, for one, hope that all goes well for you and know that he is very proud of you!
{ Caroline beams from ear to ear as we cut to the stage. The guitars of "The World Is Yours" start up and the arena is bathed in lights for a minute before Amber comes stalking as the first main riff kicks in, walking at medium pace and pausing in the middle of the ramp, taking in the surroundings before she circles the ring with the occasional slam of the mat in time with the drums before hopping the ring apron and actually hyping the crowd up some and then jumping over the top rope to spin the centre of the ring and the find a corner as she disrobes. }
Caroline Machado: (in broken English) I am very happy for Coach JJ!
Terri Morasco: We all are, Caroline -- JJ's come a long, long way since 2017! Amber Cooke has changed for the better as well!
Vasco Dias: I, for one, hope she murders that chef. This ain't no Under Siege reboot, ya know?!
[DING!]
{ Blue Shoes called for the bell to get this match underway. Amber Cooke started off fast and furious, taking out the inexperienced bartender and chef of Club 47 with with a pair of shoulder blocks that knock Simpson down to the deck. Zelda gets up each time, only to wind up on the business end of a headbutt, followed up by a pair of snap suplexes that result in a count of two. Amber continues the early assault with an armbar. Zelda has no idea how to escape the hold, being primarily a striker, but somehow she manages to slip a foot underneath the bottom rope to force a break. }
Vasco Dias: What'd I tell ya, huh?!
Terri Morasco: Amber's off to a good start so far.
Caroline Machado: (in broken English) I like her!
{ Amber yanks Simpson to her feet and tries to attempt a DDT...but Zelda counters with her patented poison mist cheat! }
Terri Morasco: Ugh...!!!
Vasco Dias: Bad Breath!
Caroline Machado: Que movimento desonroso foi esse! (What a dishonorable move that was!)
{ Amber, now blinded, stumbles and bumbles around the ring...and into Zelda's signature CHEF'S KICK! The superkick hits the ex-Army veteran flush in the jay as Zelda goes for the pin...only to get a count of two-and-three-quarters! Zelda stands up as Amber lies prone on the canvas, pulls out a baggie containing five $100 bills from her shoe, and proceeds to "charm" Blue Shoes into doing her bidding! }
Caroline Machado: (in broken English) This is not good!
Vasco Dias: She's tryin' to bribe Blue Shoes!?! That's a big mistake right there...
Terri Morasco: Gimme a break!!!
{ Blue Shoes simply giggles to himself, advising Zelda Simpson to look out from behind her! Before she can even react, the chef is planted to the canvas by Amber Cooke's patented HANO Driver! She quickly goes for the cover and gets the three-count! }
-------------------------------------
SEGMENT Return -------------------------------------
{ The lights flicker out, at the same time that fog begins filling the entire arena; a voice is heard over the speakers⌠}
Some people that should not have been forgotten were lost⌠{ The titantron is the first to flicker back on, followed by blue spotlights begin shining over the crowd. }
History became legend. Legend became myth. And for seven long years⌠{ A blue phoenix symbol shows on the titantron, fading out slowly to reveal a femaleâs eyes glaring into the camera. Her face is shown in the style of âDay of the Deadâ. }
⌠She faded out of all knowledge. { Just as quick as they had gone out, the lights went out a second time. The crowd is murmuring as they try to figure out what is going, some of them excited as they remember the old symbol but in disbelief of who it may actually be. Another word is whispered after the Lord of the Rings reference fades out. }
Undead⌠Undead... Undead⌠{ The whisper slowly goes away again, and the arena is left in darkness for several seconds. âUndeadâ by Hollywood Undead begins to play through the speakers, and the blue spotlights go around the arena again; the crowd still unsure of what is happening looks to the spotlight which makes its way toward the curtains. A figure does emerge from behind the curtains that had not been seen in a long time. The âfirstâ champion of IWF, Tara Fenix, sporting the day of the dead facepaint, but other than that pretty recognizable; she looks toward the ring, and just walks to the end of the stage with a microphone in her hand. }
Tara Fenix: The phoenix⌠risesâŚ
{ The few words escape from her, and she drops the microphone to leave back behind the curtains. }
Terri Morasco: We havenât seen the ex-wife of the former IWF World Champion in years! What does this mean for the Diamonds?
Vasco Dias: Weâre about to find out.
-------------------------------------
TRIPLE THREAT MATCH Fate vs Fiona McFly vs Samira Hamilton
-------------------------------------
{ The match started off fast and furious, as all three women fought hard with neither gaining an advantage. However, things took a turn for the scary -- in Fiona McFly's case -- when she attempted a suicide dive onto Fate and Samira Hamilton to the outside, only for Fiona to land violently on her face! Blue Shoes immediately threw up the "X" as EMTs ran down to get Fiona out of the ringside area to have her tested for concussion protocol. With the match now between Samira Hamilton and Fate, the latter gave it everything she had but Samira had just enough to hit her patented FEARLESS double-knee facebreaker combination to score the three-count! }
------------------------------------- WOMEN'S WORLD TITLE NUMBER ONE CONTENDER MATCH Cals Jacobsen vs Virginia
-------------------------------------
Allison Valance: The following contest is scheduled for One Fall!
{The lights in the arena start to flicker as the intro to âBitch Better Have My Moneyâ hits the speakers. Smoke pours out onto the stage as Virginia Stepanov steps out. She walks to the head of the ramp, looking around for a moment before she shoots a high front kick into the air to show off and then makes a finger gun with three punctuated âshotsâ towards the crowd at the appropriate time in the song.}
Allison Valance: Approaching the ring from New York City, Virginia Stepanov!
{She struts down the ramp, mouth moving to sing along to her entrance as her head bobs along with the song. When she gets to the ring she jumps onto the apron, hanging onto the rope and leaning out towards the crowd, throwing a finger gun with another three shots before she steps through the ropes. She slips her coat off and hangs it in the corner.}
Terri Morasco: We switch now towards the match to see who gets the next shot at the Womenâs Championship! The last time these two faced each other a brilliant fight
Vasco Dias: And like the first time they faced, Virginia is going to get the win. You canât stop those legs of hers.
Terri Morasco: Are you serious right now?
Vasco Dias: I mean her kicks! Come on, Iâm a professional.
{The echoing guitar intro of "Tears Don't Fall" sounds through the arena before a howl of "LET'S GOOOOOO!" brings Cals Jacobsen running out onto the stage, shoulder-rolling forward and coming up kneeling with their hands in horns and their tongue out, grinning ear to ear. They pop up to their feet, nodding and grinning wickedly as they walk down the ramp, fistbumping and high-fiving with fans. Climbing the ring steps, Cals hangs off the ringpost, nodding along to the music, and steps through the ropes, pacing in a circle before running to the ropes and leaping up onto the second rope, throwing her hood back and bellowing out to the fans. Cals detaches their hood, unfolding it and tossing it into the crowd before running the ropes, clearly psyched for their match.}
Allison Valance: Her opponent, from Minneapolis, Minnesota. Cals Jacobsen!
Terri Morasco: Both competitors look ready to fight.
Vasco Dias: Mark my words, only one of them is walking out of the ring on their own power. If that.
{The official looks over both of them before signaling for the bell. Of course they have to scramble out of the way because as the bell rings Cals and Virginia waste little time in moving in towards each other. Virginia moves in for a crescent kick that Cals easily blocks the strike before moving for a lock up in the center of the ring. The two struggle against each other before Cals manages to get the better of it, hitting Virginia with an inverted atomic drop. Virginia falls to the mat, rolling clear. Cals doesnât let up on her, moving in closer to try and grab the prone woman but Virginia manages to grab hold of Calsâ arm and pull them down, trying to lock them into a triangle choke. Cals thinks fast though, rolling Virginia onto her shoulders for a 1 count and to get Virginia to release the hold.}
Terri Morasco: It's no surprise that they are both getting right into things. Both of these competitors have a lot of pride on the line for this match.
Vasco Dias: Cals is trying to shut down Virginiaâs superior striking ability by going in for a grapple. I expect weâll see plenty of offense from both of them.
{There is no pause as yet. Both women getting up to their feet. Cals moves to lock up again but is met with a rising knee strike from Virginia for their troubles. As they stumble backwards Virginia moves in to follow them, her fists held up around her head, continuing to drive Cals back towards the turnbuckle with forearm and elbow strikes. Once she has them in the turnbuckle, rearing back for another elbow strike, Cals hits them with a european uppercut, fighting their way out of the camera. The two of them exchange strikes until Cals explodes out of the corner, hitting Virginia with a swinging neckbreaker. They move to lock in a triangle choke on Virginia, who counters into a pinning attempt that only gets a 1 count and breaks the hold.}
Terri Morasco: Explosive offense from both sides of this competition. Neither of them are holding anything back.
Vasco Dias: A battle of wills. One that I think Virginia will come out on top of.
{Cals grabs hold of Virginia, whipping her into the ropes. Virginia bounces off, running in with an attempt for another knee strike but Cals ducks underneath the attack. As Virginia bounces back, Cals catches her with a snap powerslam that shakes the whole ring. Cals goes for a cover but Virginia is able to get her shoulder up at the 2 count. Cals rolls away, bouncing themselves off the rope before hitting with a pair of knees. Cals moves for the cover again, but once again Virginia kicks out. Cals moves over towards the turnbuckle, climbing up as Virginia slowly rises to her feet. Virginia turns to go back on the offensive, only to catch a Green Skies from Cals. They move to follow up on the move but Virginia rolls out of the ring. She collects herself on the floor, rising to her knees. Cals has no interest in giving her breathing room, moving for a Step up Tope Con Hilo, but Virginia turns just in time, catching Cals with a Grounded that sends both of them to the floor. It isnât until the 5 count that both are able to climb back into the ring, staring each other down as they catch their breath.}
Terri Morasco: Things seems to be slowing down from the initial burst of offense at the beginning of the match.
Vasco Dias: They are strategizing Terri. Trying to figure out the best way to put the other person down.
{They both climb to their feet, Virginia beckoning Cals closer. Cals steps in, hitting Virginia with a roundhouse to the midsection. Virginia takes the blow, leaning into the blow slightly before she turns and responds with a spinning heel kick that knocks Cals slightly. She moves in, hitting her opponent with an Axe kick, dropping Cals to the mat with the force of the blow. She moves to drop in a stomp down on Cals but they roll out of the way. Virginia continues after Cals, lashing out with low kicks down at their body as Cals keeps rolling out of the way. Virginia turns, running into the ropes and catching Cals with a Running Knee strike. She rises to her knees, screaming at the crowd as the excitement of the match brings the crowd to rising cheers and boos. She gets to her feet, hitting Cals with a jumping front kick, driving them back into the ropes. She lifts her hands, shaking her hips to telegraph the KMA. But when she turns on her heel, Cals steps forward, wrapping their arms around Virginia and shifting their weight to throw with a german suplex, rolling through into a Dragon Suplex, and finishing out the Spectrum-Plex with the straight jacket suplex.}
Terri Morasco: Virginia took to long showboating, letting Cals get some offense back in.
Vasco Dias: Itâs all a risk. Sometimes mind games can even the field.
Terri Morasco: Neither competitor can afford to let their ego take control here.
Vasco Dias: With all due respect, ego is what this match is about.
{Virginia twitches slightly on the mat after the repeated suplexes that Cals had put her through. Cals, focused on finishing the job moves forward, picking Virginia off the mat by her pants, moving to grab her in another German. But Virginia strikes back with an elbow, before pulling them forward in a snapmare. She takes a few steps backwards, before charging forward to floor Cals with a shining wizard to the back of their head. Virginia rolls through the move, pulling Cals up to their feet and throwing them into the ropes. Virginia shouts, turning around and slamming her foot into the bottom of Cals chin with a KMA that lands this time. She does not provide the showboat at the end as Cals starts to bleed from the mouth from the kick.}
Terri Morasco: Virginia wasting no time here with her usual arrogance.
Vasco Dias: Itâs time to go to work and send this one to the record books.
{Virginia turns back around, slamming her knee into Calsâ face once more, driving them back into the ropes. Cals stumbles slightly, pulling themselves up to their feet with the use of the ropes. They turn towards Virginia, yelling for her to âCome onâ as blood sprays from their mouth. Virginia grins, stepping forward to deliver a superkick that knockâs Cals head back, sending spit flying and dropping them to the mat. Virginia turns, crouching down low, lifting her hand and beckoning Cals to stand back to their feet as they struggle to get upright as blood drips from their mouth. The crowd roars with boos as they witness Virginiaâs preperations. It is no use though, as Cals manages to struggle to their feet Virginia rushes forward, striking Cals with The Final Ride, sending them crashing back to the mat. Virginia crawls over, lifting Cals leg as the Official counts 1, 2, and 3.}
*DING DING*
Allison Valance: Your winner, and new number one contender! Virginia Stepanov!
{âBitch Better Have my Moneyâ blares from the speakers as Virginia is helped to her feet by the official to lift her arm in victory as she wobbles on her feet. Ringside medical staff slide in to check on Cals who clutches their face in pain. Virginia pulls her arm from the ref before resting on the ropes, looking out over the crowd before forming her fingers into a gun shape to mime weakly shooting into the crowd before rolling from the ring.}
-------------------------------------
IWF IMPERIAL DIAMOND CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH Rowan(c) vs Jess Reed ------------------------------------- Alison Valance: The following match is for the Imperial Diamond Championship! Terri Morasco: This match will be interesting to see how it goes. We have Rowan and Jess Reed fighting. Last time they fought, Eternity returned. Vasco Dias: But sheâs in the main event so I doubt there is anything else that can happen to surprise us. { The lights in the arena go out as "Die Young" by Ke$ha hits the PA system and the crowd go nuts. Strobe lighting begins to flash in various colours around the arena as Jessica Reed emerges from behind the curtain to a standing ovation. She smile and waves to the fans before steadying herself for a gentle sprint to the ring, slapping the hands of fans as she goes much to their delight. Reaching the ring steps she climbs up to the top of the turnbuckle and continues to wave the crowd, pumping them up even more before hopping down into the ring. } Alison Valance: First down to the ring, 125lbs, standing at 5'7", Hall of Famer Jess Reed! Terri Morasco: Jess has lost a lot of popularity this year. Vasco Dias: Actually her merch sales are at an all-time high. {Lights out. The thrumming opening of âTrip the Darknessâ by Lacuna Coil pulses through the arena, matched by a few flashing sparks of dark red light throughout the building. Red lights shine down and around the entranceway, still accompanied by sporadic flashing throughout the arena, illuminating the sihlouette of Rowan MacDonnough standing at the top of the ramp, a pair of chains hanging from her wrists. She breathes heavily, shoulders heaving as her head hangs down. As the opening continues, red smoke floods down the ramp as Rowan occasionally twitches spasmodically in rhythm with the music...}"Come to me, come to me... I am waiting for you. Come to me... I can't wait..."{As the song roars to life, Rowan's head snaps upwards, glaring around at the audience as her golden eyes glint in the smoke and the red light. The stage and ramp are lit by swirling red light, but everything else remains dark. She lopes forward, unconsciously rolling her wrists as her eyes bore a hole in the air before her. The smoke seems to follow her down the ramp as she walks. She drops the chains as she reaches ringside, climbing up the ropes and perching over the ring on the top corner, standing slowly as she continues to twitch and spasm in time with the music.}"Follow me, follow me! As I trip the Darkness... one more time!"{She leaps into the ring, landing with a roll in the center of the ring and pulling into a feral crouch. She stands, raising her arms as though conducting a savage chorus, posing one last time...}"Follow me, follow me... I awake from madness.... JUST IN TIME!"{She slowly, reluctantly backs towards a corner, eyes constantly moving as she settles in to wait for the bell.} Alison Valance: Last down to the ring, 145 pounds, standing at 5â10ââ... fall of famer and current Imperial Diamond Champion⌠Rowan MacDonnough! Terri Morasco: I hate watching this entrance. Vasco Dias: She can smell your fear. {Jess and Rowan stand across from each other in the ring. Blue Shoes signals for the bell. Neither Jess or Rowan move. Blue Shoes looks between the two.} Terri Morasco: What⌠What is happening? Vasco Dias: Iâm not sure. {Jess takes a step forward and Rowan follows until they are standing only a few inches away from each other.}Terri Morasco: I donât like this. I really donât like this. Vasco Dias: I⌠Iâm sure itâs fine. {The lights go out and the crowd reacts in a panic, the lights come back on but Rowan, Jess and the Imperial Diamond Belt is gone.}Terri Morasco: What does this mean?? Vasco Dias: Do we cut to commercial? Should we be concerned? {Blue Shoes class the bell, ending the match.} Alison Valance: Due to⌠unknown reasons, the match is called a draw. { The crowd reacts angrily.} Terri Morasco: Cut to commercial. Vasco Dias: That wonât help. ------------------------------------- WOMEN'S WORLD TITLE LADDER MATCH Abigail (c) vs Eternity
-------------------------------------
{We see Abigailâs Womenâs World Championship hung high above the ring, glistening among the lights. Brightest among all the little diamonds here tonight. In the centre of the ring, Alison Valance stands with a microphone in hand. }
Alison Valance: Ladies and Gentlemen, it is now time for your Main Event of the Evening. The following contest is a Ladder Match and is for the IWF Womenâs World Championship. In this contest, there will be no pin falls, no submissions, no count outs and no disqualifications. The only way to win this match is to climb a ladder and successfully retrieve the IWF Womenâs World Championship which is suspended above the ring...
{The lights go out completely.
Heeheeheeheeheeheeheehuhuhuhuhuhuhuhuhuhuhuhuhuhuhuhuhehehehehehehehehehehehehahahahahahahahahahahahaahaahaahaahaahaahaahaahaahaahaahaa...
The soft chilling female laughter changes the atmosphere in the arena completely before the soft opening keys lead a procession of bright white starlights to twinkle in time with them. As more time passes, drums march alongside the keys. After a short while, the heavier instruments take over in leading the procession. Over a minute passes before the lyrics to âDeath Incarnateâ by Eleine begin to herald her arrival. The lights shift, as the stars are extinguished, replaced by sombre blue strobe lights, which provide just enough illumination for us to see the purple coloured smoke slowly gathering to cloud the entranceway.
Eternity emerges from within the cloud of colourful smoke. There is a mixed reaction from the adults, but the children seem to fear the shadowy woman who is wearing a white hat and veil over her face. Her head bowed, in remembrance of all those that have fallen before her as she seems to lightly bounce halfway down the ramp.
She stops in the middle of the ramp and takes a bow, taking her veiled white hat off and posing with it in her outstretched arms. She continues her journey down the ramp, skipping and carrying her hat in her right hand. She slides under the bottom rope into the ring and when she reaches the centre, she transitions into a skip, over to the turnbuckle where she hangs her hat on a ringpost, patting it.
She then skips to the middle of the ring and falls to her knees, keeping her head bowed for a moment and her eyes closed. she tilts her head back and slowly opens her eyes to the heavens. This gesture now triggers the music to fade, but the lights remain sombre and blue.
The blue lights flicker slightly at the opening twangs of the acoustic guitar. Some in the audience enhance the sound by clapping along to the music as Abigail walks alone out under a soft white spotlight to a mixed reaction. The deep blue lights flash in time with the rhythm. The lyrics of âOutlaws & Outsidersâ by Cory Marks (ft. Travis Tritt, Ivan Moody & Mick Mars) accompany her walk down the ramp. The crowd give her a mixed reaction, and she clenches her jaw before pausing in the middle of the ramp, and looking heavenward. She flings her arms out either side of her offering herself up to a Lord she knew to be no longer there.
When there was no salvation, she cracks her neck slightly and continues her journey down the ramp under her own power. She walked up the steps, not to heaven, but into the ring. Ready to defend her position in life, as fiercely as she once defended her faith. Under the spotlight, in the middle of the ring, she drops to her knees and lets out a rebellious yell heavenward as she throws her head back, causing the lights to return to normal and shroud her in shadows no longer. Abigail breathes heavily, as she focuses on the challenge ahead. The music slowly fades.}
Terri Morasco: Well, here we go. Our last match of the evening and our last pay per view match of the year, and itâs all come down to this. The four time Womenâs World Champion and two time Heiress To The Throne, Eternity faces one of the greatest comeback stories weâve ever had in the history of the company, Abigail...
Vasco Dias: After two years in forced exile at the hands of Rowan MacDonnough, Abigail returned to the IWF with a whole new fire and focus in June. A month later she successfully defeated two time Iron Maiden Fiona McFly to capture the Womenâs World Championship for the first time in her career. Then, last month at Survival of the Fittest, Abigail endured the demonic wrath of Rowan and went on to defeat the former longest reigning Imperial Diamonds Champion, Virginia Stepanov to retain her Championship and secure her place in tonightâs main event...
Terri Morasco: Absolutely Vasco, the story of Abigailâs unparalleled rise to superstardom from relative obscurity is one nobody should take lightly. Sheâs had an incredible six months in the company, and it would be quite the storybook ending to her year if she can achieve what many consider an impossibility and stop Eternity from capturing the Womenâs World Championship for an unprecedented fifth time in her career...
Vasco Dias: Facing Eternity is the closest anybody ever comes to facing an embodiment of inevitability. Though a few women have proven over the last seven years that it is possible to stop Eternity, actually managing to do it is another matter entirely. There is no question that if Abigail does beat Eternity here tonight at Diamonds Are Forever, sheâll be in some very elite company indeed and really make a statement about exactly the kind of World Champion history will remember her as...
Terri Morasco: Of course. The opening bell hasnât even sounded and the mind games have already started. Abigail came to the ring overshadowed by Eternityâs darkness and has said that she feels intimidated by Eternityâs reputation, but not afraid. A few women have tried to claim that over the years, but listening to the absolute conviction in her voice, I firmly believe that Abigail truly is not afraid of her opposition here tonight...
Vasco Dias: Well then, Abigail is a damned fool. Itâs an incredibly thin line between bravery and stupidity and I think if sheâs not careful, we will see her cross it here tonight...
Alison Valance: Introducing first, the challenger from The Other Side, the first two time Heiress To The Throne in IWF history...The Last Diamond...EEETERRRNNNITTTYYY!
{Eternity claps for herself and bounces in the corner, excited and amused by the mixed reaction she is getting for this match.}
Alison Valance: And her opponent...from The Bayou, she is the reigning IWF Womenâs World Champion....The Lone Star...AAABIIIGAAAIIILLL!
{Abigail stands firm, doing her best to maintain eye contact and remain calm in the face of her gravest challenge to date. The bell rang to start the match of her life. Her heart raced a little faster than usual as she looked into the evergreen eyes of Eternity and saw a brightness beyond them that she was certain nobody else had ever gotten close enough to see before. A sparkle that terrified her, and so she lashed out at it. Striking Eternity with hard right hand blows that rock Eternity. Eternity stumbles back from the impact and Abigail is quick to grimace as her own temple throbs with the memory of the attack last week. Abigailâs blows force Eternity back against the ropes and she screams out into the void before sending Eternity across the ring with an Irish Whip. On the rebound, Abigail hits her opposition with a picture perfect drop kick, knocking Eternity off balance as the crowd cheer at the wild spirit on display early in this one...}
Terri Morasco: Listen to that reaction, Vasco. The people are behind the Champion here tonight...
Vasco Dias: They always get behind an underdog, although itâs rare for a Champion to be considered an underdog...
{In a show of sportsmanship, Abigail allows Eternity to find her own feet. When Eternity does, Abigail circles her whilst Eternity bounces slightly into a skip, walking her own circle around Abigail. Eternity cocks her head to the left and grins. Abigail cocks her head to the right, and smiles. The mirror amuses Eternity who charges at Abigail with the Maladjusted. She straddles her chest as she grabs handfuls of Abigailâs hair and repeatedly pounds the back of Abigailâs head into the canvas, in an effort to get her to remember. Abigail is forced to grab at the hands of Eternity, scratching the surface of her skin with her nails.. After a few moments, Abigail manages to break through the scrappy offence by digging her nails into the pale flesh of Eternity. Eternity releases, recoiling and cradling her own hand as she leaps to her feet quickly.
Abigail takes the distraction time to get to her feet, shaking off the cobwebs and charges Eternity. Abigail connects with a neck breaker. Abigail pulls Eternity up to the ropes, shoving her entire midsection through the ropes, trying to tangle her up in the ropes rather than hurt her further. Abigail turns and twists a top and middle rope around the wrist of Eternity, trying to secure her in place. With Eternity tangled and seemingly unable to immediately free herself, Abigail immediately goes to the outside and retrieves a colourful ladder from ringside. She collapses it quickly and slides it into the ring under the bottom rope.
A quick check to make sure Eternity was still tangled, before Abigail starts to set up the ladder under her belt. It is still early in the match so Abigail has enough in her still to scale the ladder fairly quickly. In her haste however, Abigailâs grip falters slightly as her fingertips push the World Championship away from her.
The lights flickering distract her further before going out completely.}
Vasco Dias: Whatâs going on?
Terri Morasco: I donât know, but between Rowan and Eternity, this kind of thing has been happening far too frequently for my personal comfort...
{When the lights return, Eternity is free and underneath Abigailâs side of the ladder. Eternity reaches up and grabs at Abigailâs tights, threatening to peel her off the rungs of the ladder with a modified Blood Godâs Wrath powerbomb. Abigail tightens her grip with both hands, holding on for dear life. She shakes her head firmly, defiant against falling victim to the last move Spike Kane ever delivered over two years ago.
Using her left hand to secure herself against the ladder frame, Abigail takes her right hand off, balls up a fist and starts to hammer blow after blow into Eternityâs head, as the watching crowd begin to count every blow that lands...}
Crowd: One...two...three...four...five...six...
{Abigail loses her grip entirely on the colourful ladder frame as Eternity stumbles forward with the Champion still on her shoulders. Abigail will not relent her assault however and the raining blows continue as the two women are serenaded by the electric crowd...}
Crowd: ...seven...eight...nine...
{The tenth and presumably final blow is arrested by Eternity elevating her competition up over the top rope and hitting The Blood Godâs Wrath from inside the ring to the outside. It seems that the Champion could not escape her fate entirely and merely delayed it.
The crowd are in a frenzy of âHoly Shit!â Chants.
Eternity takes her time skipping around the ladder in circles as if she had all the time in the world. And maybe she did because Abigail is still down on the outside. Eternity completes no less than eight full circles around the ladder before she finally starts to climb very slowly. Almost as if she didnât want this match to ever end.}
Vasco Dias: POWERBOMB TO THE OUTSIDE! ABIGAIL MAY WELL BE DEAD AFTER THAT!
Terri Morasco: Donât ask me how, but she is stirring. Thereâs life in her yet!
{As Eternity reaches for the dangling Championship, the crowd erupt into cheers as Abigail flies into the ring from seemingly nowhere and practically throws herself into the ladder. The unorthodox barge rocks the ladder, as Eternity teeters, before falling off the other side. Eternity rolls under the bottom rope and out of the ring to avoid the ladder falling on her.
Abigail sets up the ladder under the shadow of her Championship, but is not convinced sheâs done enough to keep Eternity down and secure the victory. So she slides out after her challenger. Landing her boot into the stomach of Eternity a few times, stomping a mud hole and walking it dry.
Abigail then lifts the ring apron and drags out another colourfully framed ladder from under the ring. Abigail takes a few moments to set it up between the ring apron and the barricade, bridging the gap. Abigail then pulls Eternity up by the head and drags her over to the makeshift bridge. She hooks Eternity up and kisses Eternity on the temple before delivering Blind Faith into the ladder...}
Vasco Dias: BLIND FAITH FACE FIRST INTO THE UNFORGIVING STEEL!
Terri Morasco: MY GOD IN HEAVEN! SOMEBODY STOP THIS!
{Eternityâs face bounces off the cold, hard steel as Abigail stumbles away. Abigail looks up at the World Championship, after taking a moment to regain her composure. Eternity still hasnât moved, and Abigail seems remorseful as she sees the downed Heiress, but she takes a deep breath and forces her personal feelings down. Burying them a little deeper for the sake of her match. Secretly hoping Eternity would stay down, so she didnât have to hurt her anymore. The reigning Champion then takes a moment to slide herself back into the ring and begins to climb the ladder she had set up earlier. Halfway up, Abigail takes a moment to check the side where Eternity had fallen, to make sure she was still down. But she simply isnât there. Abigail looks around slightly confused, but then continues to climb slowly.}
Terri Morasco: Where is Eternity?
Vasco Dias: Who cares? Abigail needs to capitalise on her absence, and win the match!
{Abigail then climbs a few more rungs slowly as the crowd erupt and Eternity emerges from under the ring on the other side from where she fell. Eternity slides into the ring, hops to her feet and rocks Abigailâs side of the ladder gently. This does not allow Abigail to get a firm grip on the title which swings back and forth under her fumbles like the pendulum of a clock. A few moments later, Abigail loses her tentative grip on the rocking steel, and she tumbles backwards off the ladder completely only to be caught by Eternity. Falling into her arms, the two women lock eyes for a long moment. Eternity smiles. Abigail smiles back. Eternity then seamlessly transitions her embrace into a modified backbreaker across her bent knee, taking Abigailâs breath away unexpectedly.}
Vasco Dias: Backbreaker! I donât think Abigail expected thatâŚ
Terri Morasco: You never know what to expect in a match like this, especially from Eternity...
{ Eternity then scrambles to mount her, striking her with lefts and rights as the two women roll and tumble out of the ring embroiled in their cat fight, Eternity once again is on top of Abigail, pulling her hair a couple of times as she lands a blow, a second a third, a fourth and then suddenly stops as she cocks her head and realises where she is. On the outside of the squared circle, free. Eternity jumps up off Abigail and skips around the ring to the announce desk. She rips the top board off the table and tosses it aside and then starts to rip the monitors out of the desk. Eternity places the monitors carefully on the ground, patting them on the top like they were small children. Eternity turns around only to be tackled over the commentary table and into Vasco's lap by Abigail who jumps on her as she gets to her feet. Vasco and Terri are both quick to their feet as they separate themselves from the madness of a frantic Abigail still raining blows down on her opponent. The crowd are wild.
Eternity tries to crawl away from the assault, as Abigail relentlessly is still pounding on the back of Eternity as she tries to crawl away again. Abigail wonât let her go, and instead drags her back to her feet, before delivering a stiff clothesline that sends Eternity back from behind the table to being slumped over the top of it. Abigail grabs a handful of Eternityâs hair and strikes her in the face five times before Eternity spits green mist into the Championâs unsuspecting eyes, blinding her temporarily to stop Abigailâs assault. As Abigail is distracted trying to wipe the mist out of her eyes, Eternity uses the time to roll off the table and onto the opposite side. Landing on her feet, Eternity runs into the ring with such speed, she barrels into the ladder, knocking it off centre so it falls.
Meanwhile Abigail grabs a half empty water bottle from Terri Morasco and pours it all over her face to clear the mist from her eyes and restore her blurry sight fully.
Eternity takes a first step on her long climb to her historic fifth World Championship under the ladder sheâd managed to reset to dead centre under Abigailâs World Championship. A second step, and a third, then a fourth. She looks over her shoulder at Abigail who is now shaking her slick face and hair free under the last few drops of the water bottle. Eternityâs eyes go wide and she bites her bottom lip on instinct, taking in the sight, clearly distracted for a few moments.
This has given Abigail enough time to briskly walk around the announce desk and hop back into the ring where she grabs Eternityâs right leg to prevent her from climbing any further. Eternity tries to kick her away, and shake her free, but Abigailâs grip is determined and absolute and with a firm yank she manages to pull Eternity back off the ladder and down to Earth again.The two women then start exchanging blows to a mixed reaction from the crowd. The announce team have regained enough of their whereabouts to resume their responsibilities. }
Terri Morasco: We're back. Thank God nobody went through our table, thatâs usually how these brawls end up going when the competitors fight their way over here...
Vasco Dias: Not to tempt fate but the match isnât over yet. But yeah, itâs even worse for our Spanish colleagues usually...
{The crowd remains split as Eternity and Abigail exchange no less than half a dozen strikes back and forth with neither woman getting a clear upper hand. Eternity tries for a seventh but Abigail meets it halfway to block it beforehand Irish whipping her challenger across the ring.
On the rebound, Abigail leaps off her feet and lands a perfect drop kick, downing her challenger. Abigail then pulls her to back to her feet and delivers the triple strike knee combo to Eternityâs gut and face known as The Holy Trinity. But rather than letting her opponent fall back, Abigail keeps her upright and doubles her over for a Suplex attempt. She manages to not only lift Eternity clear off her feet and into the air vertically, but also most impressively hold Eternity in position for about a full ten seconds in a remarkable show of strength. She finally returns Eternity to the ground but does not give up her position of control immediately. Instead rolling Eternity through and locking in âLiving. Dead. Girl.â}
Terri Morasco: Shades of the âIron Maidenâ Dawn Halliwell herself, in that move, daughter of the late, great, Spike KaneâŚif she can put Eternity, out, it will be that much easier to climb the ladder and retrieve her World Championship...
Vasco Dias: Itâs a smart strategy, but I think Abigail is also trying to prove something to her challenger about the obsession with her blood relatives by employing that move from her arsenal in particular...
{After several long moments of having Eternity tangled up in her legs with nowhere else for her to go, Abigail feels something literally nobody else has ever felt before in a match with Eternity in seven years.
Eternity slapping Abigailâs right thigh, frantically trying to tap out. Trying to get Abigail to stop her pain.}
Vasco Dias: Eternity is trying to tap out, Terri, weâve never seen that before!
Terri Morasco: It would be significant in any other match, Vasco, but unfortunately this is a ladder match and Eternityâs submission to Abigail means nothing. The only way to win this match is by climbing the ladder and retrieving the richest prize in the industry!
{Abigail keeps the hold locked in, gritting her teeth as over the next full minute in her vice like hold, Eternityâs resistance starts to fade. Her screams and pleas for Abigail to relent become whimpers and then whispers. Her tapping is drained and limp as her eyes roll in the back of her head. Her whole body goes limp and her voice falls silent. Abigail closes her eyes and swallows down a bitter pang of regret that itâd come to this.
But this was kinder than striking her until she stopped moving. She only needed Eternity out long enough to climb the ladder and win. She didnât want to hurt Eternity any more than was necessary.
Satisfied that Eternity was out, Abigail finally released her and her lifeless challenger flopped onto her back involuntarily.}
Vasco Dias: Eternity appears to be out! This is historic, this could be the key to the biggest victory of Abigailâs life!
Terri Morasco: All she needs to do now is climb the ladder and successfully unhook her Championship and Abigail will put one hell of an exclamation point on a great 2020 for herself. Very few World Champions have been able to hold back the challenges of Heiresses over the years. Not to mention, successfully defending your Championship against Eternity has been a milestone that has eluded some of our very best and brightest female talent over the years. So Abigail could literally be moments away from entering a very exclusive club...
{Abigail slowly gets to her feet, takes a deep breath. Her chest feels heavy as if her heart was weighed down by her decision to take this particular path to victory. But she had to show Eternity she was everything she said she was. She had to show the world that she really was so much more than her flesh and blood.
Abigail walks over to the turnbuckle where Eternityâs hat is hung. Cocks her head at it slightly and then impulsively removes it. Unseen to her, the action seems to cause a subtle tremor to pulse through Eternityâs limbs.
Abigail puts the hat on her head and smiles. It didnât go with the rest of her attire but it fit her surprisingly well. Eternityâs eyes shoot open as Abigail turns and tips Eternityâs hat at her fallen opponent, before putting it back on her head and starting to climb the ladder.
Abigail is slowly making her way up the ladder, one careful step at a time. She keeps periodically looking up at her championship, and purposefully avoids looking at her fallen challenger. Trying to push through and stay focused on the prize at the end of her long journey.
The current reigning Champion is about halfway up the ladder and mere fingertips away from retrieving her prize, when Eternity springs to life. The two time Heiress to The Throne sits bolt upright with a wide unnerving grin on her face at the sight of Abigail wearing her hat. She claps her hands together as she jumps up to her feet and starts to rock the ladder from the opposite side again, more vigorously than before until Abigail concedes and shifts focus from unhooking the belt to climbing back down slowly to fight Eternity some more.
Abigail slowly starts to climb down and even returns the hat to the ring post again before stepping up to face Eternity again. Standing face to face, a resilient Champion and her equally resilient Challenger, Abigail and Eternity match each other blow for blow once more as the crowd are once again divided.
After several stiff exchanges between the well matched pair, it is Eternity who breaks the striking deadlock by pulling Abigail in and hoisting her onto her shoulders, looking for the Broken Windmill.
Unlike six nights prior though, this time Abigail does not freeze and allow Eternity to hit her with the move. This time she has it scouted and squirms off Eternityâs shoulders. Hopping down behind Eternity and trying to hook her up for a Blind Faith, but Eternity slips out of the attempt and instead whips Abigail into the steel ladder frame. The ladder rocks and tips over to the side, falling across the ropes at an odd angle. Abigail clutches her face momentarily and stumbles into Eternityâs waiting embrace.
Eternity delivers The Last Breath exploder suplex with some authority, throwing Abigail up and over behind her. Abigailâs head catches the edge of the slanted ladderâŚ}
Vasco Dias: Last Breath!
Terri Morasco: The Championâs head bouncing off the steel there! Good God!
Vasco Dias: Yeah, well, this ainât ballet. Abigail knew the risks when she agreed to fight Eternity on her own terms!
Terri Morasco: Iâm not sure she had much of a choice, Vasco!
{Eternity brings her palms together flat and places them under her cheek as she tilts her head slightly and closes her eyes a moment, facing Abigail. She then leaves the ring and removes the ladder bridge Abigail had set up earlier and pulls it into the ring under the bottom rope. She waltzes with it into the centre of the canvas as if it was her perfect dance partner. She then sets it down under the glittering ball that was the Womenâs World Championship. She opens it up carefully to increase its stability and proper function, before starting to climb up one side slowly.
Meanwhile Abigail is regaining her bearings, and clutches the back of her head as she slowly nods and begins to climb up the other side of the ladder. Just a small step behind Eternity the whole way up.
Eternity waits for her near the top, and greets her with a warm smile and a slight nod before striking her in the face, rocking her. Abigail answers with a shot of her own. Eternity delivers a second, Abigail once again replies with just as good as she gets. Eternity reaches up with one hand, touching the red leather of the belt. Abigail strikes her with a third. Eternity doesnât lose her grip. Abigail strikes a fourth time before reaching for the belt herself.
Now both women have the World Championship caught between them.}
Vasco Dias: Both women appear to have reached a deadlock here, TerriâŚ
Terri Morasco: Oh absolutely, Vasco, and youâve got to believe whoever breaks it first will be leaving Diamonds Are Forever as the Womenâs World ChampionâŚ
{Abigail is the first to abandon the tug of war as she opts to fire off no less than five stiff piston like shots to Eternity directly in her face, the last of which rocks Eternity off balance and Abigail then shoves her by the face back off the ladder.
Eternity falls fifteen feet through the air and hits rock bottom, leaving Abigail alone atop the ladder to unhook her World Championship and secure her place in history. Capping off her 2020 with the most monumental win of her career so far.
âOutlaws and Outsidersâ hits as Abigail pulls down her World Championship and clutches it instinctively to her chest.}
Alison Valance: AND HERE IS YOUR WINNER AND STILL WOMENâS WORLD CHAMPIONâŚABIIIGAAAIIILLL!
Terri Morasco: Sheâs done it! Abigail just overcame the biggest challenge of her career so far and held back the Heiress To The Throne!
Vasco Dias: There are those that consider beating Eternity a virtual impossibility, but Abigail has proven tonight that it can be done! Abigail has proven sheâs so much more than her critics give her credit for. She ends 2020 with the biggest win in her career to date and I predict even bigger things for her in 2021!
-------------------------------------
SEGMENT Something Wicked -------------------------------------
{âOutlaws and Outsidersâ suddenly stops and the lights go out.}
Terri Morasco: ...I donât like that.
Vasco Dias: No one does. No one does, Terri.
{The lights come on to Jess Reed and Rowan MacDonnough standing in the ring. Abigail is still at the top of the ladder, clutches her belt a little tighter, looking between the women below, clearly unsure what is going to be transpiring next.}
Terri Morasco: Wait⌠Jess and Rowan are here in the ring now? After that match they had? I donât understand!
Vasco Dias: I think I mightâŚ
{Jess Reed moves to where Eternity is laying down and pulls her to her feet, checking on her and talking to her quietly. Rowanâs eyes are on Abigail, who was clearly aware of the precarious position she was in.}
Vasco Dias: Rowan is going to injure the world champion?!
{Something Jess seems to whisper to Eternity brings her around and she seems to twirl like a ballet dance out of Jessâ arms to stop between Rowan and the ladder where Abigail is seated. Rowan and Eternity seem to stare each other down. Jess walks over, offering both women her hand with a smile. Eternity takes Jessâ hand first, then Rowan takes Jessâ hand.}
Terri Morasco: No. no no no no no no no!
{A very tense moment goes between Rowan and Eternity before they join hands as well. Abigail just stands there in the ladder, victorious, but empty. She wants to scream, she wants to understand why any of this was happening, but she was too terrified to confront Eternity in front of Rowan especially. So she just watched, helplessly, frozen and numb.}
{Jess and Eternity smile as Rowan nods, the lights go out again and when they come back on, Abigail is left alone n the ring.}
Terri Morasco: What can this possibly mean?
Vasco Dias: Something terrible. Something awful. Some kind of⌠Dark Triad?
Terri Morasco: No one in the womenâs division will be safe!
Vasco Dias: Except⌠apparently Abigail.
