Bleacher Report writer mike Kane delivers another article based on the events of Imperial Wrestling Federations latest episode of it's flagship show; Sacrifice.
When the show ended on Monday Night there crowd were angry, they were stunned, they were upset. One of their biggest heroes had become their biggest villain in an instant and from what I could tell, nobody saw it coming. Spike Kane has been a big name in the wrestling company for at least ten years, and has been wrestling a lot longer than that. The Empire, however first came into existence in 2007, spearheaded by the mad genius; Davey Ortega. Ortega hand picked Spike Kane to be his right hand man, but events conspired to lead the God of Xtreme to greatness in Ortega's stead (keep your eyes peeled for an article about this soon) Since then The Empire saw a few reincarnations but never putting Ortega and Kane together, and never involving Kane himself, until this Monday. In a shocking turn of events Spike Kane revealed that he was the man behind the Juggernauts, and quite possibly the man behind the disappearance of Lex Sense.
The ripples this has caused throughout the company have already been felt, with both Alex Jones and Davey Ortega report to have trashed their locker rooms. Nobody has been able to contact Joe Everyman for a word on how he feels about the situation, but this is not the first time that Joe Everyman has been used to send a message in this company. With Spike seemingly on his side, as well as his InFamous partner Rob Diamond, it seemed like the good guys were finally going to triumph and give the masked men what was due to them, instead Spike and Rob turned on their friend, and the masked men revealed themselves to both be HonorBound, and to be working in league with Spike Kane and his new Empire.
One thing is for sure, this turn of events has shaken the very foundations of this company and left everyone asking what is to come next? Who can be trusted? What will happen when The Empire make their presence known at Sacrifice? What we here at Bleacher Report would like to know, is how did the swerve effect you? Did you see it coming, or did you wet yourself? Vote in the poll, and sound off in the comments section.
