SEGMENT
Preshow
-------------------------------------
{the camera pans through the crowd while Monster by Doobie the official song of Danger Zone 2021 plays, catching some signs in the stadium }Summer Thompson: Hi guys, gals and nonbinary pals! Welcome to Danger zone! We donāt have a ton of time due to how packed the card is this evening so we are just going to have to jump right in.
{Summer smiles.}Uriel Black: So skipping the preshow matches all together then?
Rayne: Donāt be an ass.
Robert Henderson: There are a lot of good matches this evening, they all deserve to have a hard look at them.
Summer Thompson: So first we have Violent Tendencies vs Vendetta? How are we feeling?
Uriel Black: I think Violent tendencies are going to run rough-shot over the newer team.
Rayne: Well, one of them was trained by Tara. You have to give them credit there.
Robert Henderson: Both teams are very good, it is a very hard call.
Summer Thompson: Next Seth Evans vs Xavier Zion?
Uriel Black: Seth Evans is old hat at this. I bet heāll win this.
Rayne: Seth has the experience, thatās true.
Robert Henderson: I think Zion has a chance to shock us all.
Summer Thompson: Mandi Matthews vs Kai Sachiko?
Uriel Black: Mandi.
Rayne: Yeah, Mandi.
Robert Henderson: I think we all know Mandi wins this.
Summer Thompson: Gods and Monsters vs Fateful Danger?
Uriel Black: Harder call. I think Gods and Monsters wins this though.
Rayne: It makes the most sense. Fateful Danger spends a lot of time being silent.
Robert Henderson: Silent isnāt wrong.
Summer Thompson: Ulf Hednir vs JC Keeton?
Uriel Black: JC came in here like a bat out of hell. I think heās going to win this.
Rayne: Ulf is good. But Itās possible that JC is better.
Robert Henderson: I think JC has a chance to get the title here.
Summer Thompson: Cals Jacobsen vs Rowan?
Uriel Black: Rowan.
Rayne: Definitely Rowan.
Robert Henderson: I hate to say it but Rowan.
Summer Thompson: James Gilmore (c) vs Warren Kane ?
Uriel Black: Warren can be a beast in the ring if he wants to be. Who can say though?
Rayne: Gilmore is likely going to find somewhere to retain just to piss Verona off.
Robert Henderson: This match could go either way.
Summer Thompson: And that is unfortunately all the time we have. See you next month!

TAG TEAM MATCH
1K RP WORD LIMIT
Violent Tendencies vs Vendetta
-------------------------------------
Terri Morasco: It's time for our first action of the evening, as we're going to see the team of Vendetta taking on Violent Tendencies. This will be an extremely important match up in the tag team division, one would have to think. Vendetta sits tied atop the rankings with the Fateful Danger, who we'll see vie for a tag team Championship shot later this evening; and Violent Tendencies is nipping at their heels alongside Gods and Monsters and Team Diversity Hire.
Vasco Dias: Our Tag Team scene here is red hot right now, Morasco. This match is going to play a huge role in sorting that out at all of these teams jockey for position. Let's be honest though, Vendetta doesn't have a chance in this one. Terrella and Diamond are two of the most ruthless men in this company. They're big, strong and hungry for gold.
Terri Morasco: Vasco, I think you're discounting the vital role tag team continuity plays in a two-on-two match-up. Vendetta has shown they excel in that particular area. In addition, they've shown to be every bit as hungry for a chance at those world tag team titles.
Vasco Dias: Don't be like Seth Evans and these countless morons in the audience, Morasco- don't back a loser.
Terri Morasco: Well let's go down to our broadcast partner, Alison, for introductions and see who is correct.
Alison Valance: The following contest is scheduled for one fall...
{ The lights in the arena darken, and blue and white spotlights are cast upon the stage. Snow falls from the rafters, gently dancing in the lights, and landing softly onto the stage as the opening to Nonpoint's "In The Air Tonight" echoes throughout the arena. JessƩ Marchand steps out from behind the curtain first, followed closely by Travis Reinhart. Marchand kneels on the stage with his head bowed, tapping his fist to his nose three times; while Reinhart stands behind him and runs his thumb across his throat in a slashing gesture. }
Alison Valance: Introducing first... Coming down the aisle... weighing in at a combined weight of four hundred fifty-two pounds... The Iceman... JessƩ Marchand... and The Clipper... Travis Reinhart... they are Vendetta!!
( Reinhart and Marchand begin to walk toward the ring with a cool and quiet confidence. )
Well, when you told me you were drowning
I would not lend a hand
I've seen your face before, my friend
But I don't know if you know who I am
Well, I was there and I saw what you did
I saw it with my own two eyes
So you can wipe off that grin
I know where you've been
It's all been a pack of lies
{ Both men pause at the bottom of the ramp, holding up the middle two fingers on their right hands in a "V" shape for the camera. Marchand slides underneath the bottom rope into the ring while Reinhart heads up the stairs and leaps over the top rope. They climb opposite corners, perching themselves on the middle turnbuckles. Marchand surveys the arena, looking side-to-side while Reinhart glances back over his shoulder toward the ring with a bit of a smirk. Both men hop down and remove their jackets as the lights rise and the song begins to fade out at the 01:53 mark. }
Alison Valance: And their opponents...
{ The lights in the arena begin to strobe red as the opening chords of Nero Frote begin to play. The stage erupts in pyro as the song really kicks into gear and Chris Diamond comes strutting out with a barbed wire wrapped baseball over his shoulder. }
Alison Valance: Introducing first... making his way down the aisle... standing six feet and four inches tall... and weighing in at two hundred forty-six pounds... The Maniac Chris Diamond!
{ Chris smirks at the fans before heading down to the ring in lock step with the song. Chris rolls in under the bottom rope and stands up while swinging his bat. Chris lines up his shot and swings holding his hand over his eyes like heās watching a head fly before casually leaning back onto a set of turnbuckles. }
Alison Valance: And his tag team partner...
{ The camera takes a long shot of the entryway as and the arena darkens and purple laser lights are cast upon the entry way. "Forfeit" begins to blare before Terrella makes his entrance alongside Portia thirteen seconds into the song. They take a few steps before stopping to stand side-by-side on the stage, Terrella on the left and Portia on the right. She places her left hand on his right shoulder and runs her right hand down his chest and abdomen as he lowers his glasses down the bridge of his nose before turning for a kiss. }
Alison Valance: Coming down the aisle, being accompanied by Portia... standing six feet and two inches tall... and weighing in at two hundred ninety-eight pounds... The King of Clubs... Stephen Terrella!
{ Terrella re-positions his sunglasses and begins a slow walk toward the ring arm-in-arm with Portia. Fifty seconds into the song they reach the bottom of the stairs where they release arms. Terrella removes his sunglasses as the song picks up in intensity, surveying the arena for a few seconds with an intense stare and menacing scowl before handing his glasses to Portia and charging up the stairs and into the ring. }
Vasco Dias: Hey, have a look at who is officiating this match tonight, Morasco. Someone dragged Tommy Knocker out of catering!
Terri Morasco: That fact seems more than coincidental after this week's episode of Game On.
Vasco Dias: We should have wrote in anonymously that the announce team here deserves a sizeable raise for all of their contributions to the company.
Terri Morasco: We'd be remiss if we didn't also mention our friend and colleague on Spanish commentary, Cristiano Tapia.
Vasco Dias: He parked in my space last Monday night at Sacrifice, so screw that guy. He can devise his own scheme.
{ Diamond stands in the center of ring for his team, and Marchand elects to be the man to start for his. The crafty veteran, Diamond, motions for a test of strength. Marchand shakes his head no, which draws a smirk from Diamond. The Maniac has some words for The Iceman that the broadcast team refrains from repeating. The two gladiators lock up in a collar-and-elbow, where Diamond easily forces Marchand back into the corner. Diamond gives JessƩ a pat on the head as an insult, followed by a stiff uppercut to the jaw. The Maniac shoots Marchand across the ring with an Irish Whip, sending him crashing into the opposite corner. Chris looks at Reinhart, mentioning something about coasting. Diamond rushes in, looking for a Big Boot to the Iceman; but Marchand moves, leading to Diamond catching nothing but turnbuckle in a somewhat painful manner. }
{ Reinhart asks for a tag, to which Marchand obliges. Travis enters and snaps off a kick in the air, leaving Diamond unimpressed. Reinhart points to Terrella, indicating he wants the big man. Diamond has some rather derogatory comments for Reinhart as the jawing continues in the early going, but grants the Clipper his wish by making a tag to Terrella. }
{ Terrella steps in and rolls his shoulders. The Clipper shoots in for a single leg takedown, but Terrella is too strong. He wraps his arms around Reinhart's midsection and sends him careening through the air with a twist of his hips. Reinhart stares up at Terrella from the canvas, slightly surprised by the power. The King of Clubs flips him off, and invites him to try again with the wave of a hand as Portia trash talks The Clipper from the outside. }
Vasco Dias: Right there, that's what these little twerps can't counter! Terrella just threw Reinhart across the ring as if he was a small child!
Terri Morasco: It was one attempt, Vasco. We both know wrestling is a bit of a feeling out process early on, so why don't we see how Vendetta adapts before rushing to judgments?
{ Adapt Reinhart does, firing off a few stiff MMA style leg kicks to Terrella's lower limbs. Terrella retreats to the corner, somewhat hobbled. Reinhart presses his advantage, but Terrella counters with a blatant rake of the eyes that Tommy Knocker ignores. Terrella rips Reinhart down by his hair, kicking him hard in the side of the head immediately after. Stephen starts to lay in some clubbing blows to Travis' back. Terrella stands over top of Reinhart now, savagely laying in some punishing cross-face style punches. The King lifts Reinhart off the canvas, launching him into the corner of Violent Tendencies with an Irish Whip. Travis goes down on impact, and Terrella- slightly favoring his leg- tags out to Diamond. }
{ Diamond takes control with a series of power moves that is capped off by a high angle backbreaker. Diamond attempts a cover, but pulls Reinhart off the canvas after the one count. He begins to light Reinhart up with a peppering of hard right hands to the head. The onslaught softens the Clipper up enough for Diamond to deliver his Gran Torino. The Maniac again forgoes a cover, however, deciding to taunt the crowd instead. Portia applauds from the floor, chastising the crowd for not joining in on the celebration. }
Terri Morasco: I'm stunned at how dominant Violent Tendencies has been tonight, Vasco. They've slowed the pace of the match down, and they've just been suffocating Travis Reinhart with their power game and some rather questionable shortcuts.
Vasco Dias: What did you think was going to happen, Morasco? I love Violent Tendencies. They're great guys, and Portia is an absolute vision of loveliness. These people want to vilify them for no reason at all. Well guess what, this is real life, and sometimes the black hats win because they're just better. Vendetta was a nice story, but the fairy-tale ends here.
{ Diamond turns, only to be rocked with a desperation front kick from Reinhart. Reinhart follows with a roundhouse kick that seemed to come more from instinct than any type of calculated plan. The force of the blow drops Diamond like a fallen tree. He eats canvas, and lays motionless. Reinhart collapses backward, searching for his bearings. The Iceman leans over, desperate for a tag. }
{ Portia climbs up on the apron, initiating a conversation with referee Tommy Knocker. Tommy seems more than happy to stand and converse with her as she shows him a 'rash' on her chest. The distraction allows Terrella to circle the ring and pull Marchand down off the apron. The King rams The Iceman face first into the steel ring post, and then scoops him up and drops him throat-first over the barricade. Terrella hustles back to his corner as Diamond starts to crawl over. }
Terri Morasco: That woman has interjected herself once again! Reinhart is looking for a tag, but there's no one there because Tommy Knocker was too busy with her!
Vasco Dias: Ease up, Morasco. She was in distress. What kind of gentleman- no, what kind of representation of this company would Tommy Knocker be if he ignored her? You're just jealous because she's prettier than you are!
Terri Morasco: I- No!!! You- Argh!!!
Vasco Dias: I'm going to need a translator to work with her if she's going to be this way all night.
{ Diamond tags Terrella. Reinhart rolls out of Terrella's grasp. Travis ducks to the outside quickly, and Terrella tries to give chase. The Clipper slips back inside, and delivers an axe kick as Terrella tries to climb between the ropes. The ploy buys just enough time for Marchand to make it back on the apron. Reinhart makes the tag! }
{ The duo double team Terrella with kicks and punches, but Knocker's count for them seems to be of a much quicker pace. JessƩ takes over solo with some snug European uppercuts, followed by a swinging neckbreaker. The Iceman waits on the King to rise, seemingly somewhat leery of getting caught in close. Marchand delivers a 'Frozen Phoenix' on Terrella and floats into a quick cover. Knocker takes his time getting into position, slowly counting... one!... No! The extremely slow count easily allows Terrella to power out before the two! Portia smiles at Tommy and waves. }
{ Marchand again waits on Terrella, this time taking him down with a side Russian Leg Sweep. JessƩ chooses not to tag, trying to buy his partner some more time to recover. The Iceman moves in, rattling off a few stomps on Terrella, and then backs off. He bides his time momentarily, and then goes to Terrella's right knee with a chop block. }
Terri Morasco: That's a very veteran move by a young wrestler right there. He's not going to be able to throw Terrella with his suplexes, so he's taking the larger man's base away from him.
Vasco Dias: It pains me to say it, but you're right Morasco. Everyone is the same height flat on their back.
{ Reinhart recovers enough to take a tag from Marchand. Vendetta works over Terrella for five minutes by making frequent tags in and out, both men zeroing in on his legs with their assault. They cap the assault off with their 'Double Shot' tag team maneuver. Reinhart makes a cover, but Terrella powers out on the count of two! Reinhart sits with his hands on his knees, visibly frustrated by the cadence of the official's count. Tommy Knocker points to his shirt, indicating he's in charge, }
Terri Morasco: I can understand Vendetta's frustration here with the inconsistencies we've seen in Tommy's counts tonight.
Vasco Dias: Stop with the conspiracies, Morasco. I feel he's done a fine job out there. Even if there were, as you put it, some inconsistencies; he's probably just suffering from some officiating rust.
Terri Morasco: Officiating rust?
Vasco Dias: It's a thing.
{ Reinhart tags Marchand, and the two work to try to get Terrella set up for their "Roughrider" maneuver. Portia complains to Tommy about the double-team, creating an opening for Terrella to strike Reinhart with a low-blow unbeknownst to the official. Reinhart's body recoils, and he rolls to the outside. Marchand tries to maintain control, but Diamond comes in illegally and drills him between the shoulder blades with the point of his baseball bat. Diamond gives Terrella an assist to their corner, clapping his hands to imitate the sound of a tag. }
Vasco Dias: Is Diamond a genius, or is Diamond a genius?!
Terri Morasco: I believe the word you were looking for is cheater, Vasco,
Vasco Dias: Why do you insist on denying this man's greatness? Clearly if it were cheating we'd have heard a bell, and I didn't hear any bells.
{ Diamond pushes his advantage, tossing Marchand over with a T-bone Suplex. The Maniac hits the ropes and connects with a pump kick to Marchand's jaw. Chris drops down and drives his forearm across the ridge of The Iceman's nose, aggressively and painfully insulting him. The Maniac rains down hard right hands on Marchand, ruthlessly aiming for the nose. Diamond gloats, pretending to hit a homerun and watching it sail. }
{ Marchand fights back on Diamond, throwing a few right hands to the stomach of the Maniac. Diamond lifts a knee, catching Marchand under the jaw. Marchand absorbs the painful blow, but stands to counter with a belly-to-belly suplex that takes the wind from Diamond. Portia slips off her heels and hands one to Terrella behind the officials back as he checks on both men. Terrella tucks it in the back of his tights, hiding it from sight. }
Terri Morasco: What are these two planning now!? Everyone in this arena just saw that except for the official, and unfortunately Vendetta.
Vasco Dias: Something brilliant, no doubt!
{ Marchand and Diamond slowly get to their knees, exchanging shots from that position. The crowd chants "Boo" every time Diamond connects, and "Yay" for every punch The Iceman lands. Marchand rises and hits Diamond with an inverted atomic drop! Jesse hits the ropes. Diamond drops to the canvas, and Marchand leaps over him as Portia draws Tommy Knocker's attention on the outside by claiming Reinhart was reaching for the barbed wire hockey stick Vendetta had brought. As Marchand bounces off the ropes Terrella reaches out and drills him in the base of the neck with the point of Portia's high heel, sending shockwaves down his body. Marchand stumbles forward, straight into Diamond for the Hangāem High! }
Terri Morasco: Thunderous chokeslam, but with a huge assist there! What a tainted way to gain an advantage!
Vasco Dias: I didn't see anything. I was reaching for some water. What happened?
Terri Morasco: Of course you didn't.
{ Diamond tags Terrella, and Terrella hoists Marchand up on his shoulders in an Electric Chair position. Diamond goes to the top rope and leaps off with a clothesline, connecting on their 'Brutalizer' finisher. Terrella covers The Iceman, hooking a leg as Chris Diamond knocks Travis off the apron. Tommy Knocker very rapidly counts for... One! Two! Three!! }
Terri Morasco: Violent Tendencies have once again stolen another match!
Vasco Dias: Did they? I saw a clean and decisive win for Diamond and Terrella. I told you going in, there is no counter for that type of power! And what a finish! Marchand got his head taken off!
{ Diamond looks down at Marchand and smirks. Portia rushes into the ring and leaps on Terrella, all smiles. Terrella holds her with one arm, her legs wrapped around him. He flips off the fallen Marchand as the music begins to play. }
Alison Valance: Your winners of the match by pinfall... Violent Tendencies!

SINGLES MATCH
Seth Evans vs Xavier Zion
-------------------------------------
{All of the lights flicker out throughout the arena and turquoise tinted lights quickly replace while the opening guitar riff of āBlow Me Awayā begins to play through the speakers. A roar of cheers rings from the majority of the fans in the arena and from the way that the camera does see them, it doesnāt appear that one single person is sitting in their seat; Seth emerges from behind the curtains dressed in his loose leather pants with the Halo symbol on his left leg. He lifts his hand above his eyes to block the blinding light from him to take a moment to look at the entire crowd, and smiles and nods his head in approval for the reception that he receives. Not moving from his spot at the top of the ramp, he brings his hands to his chest and jumps up and down a few times as if to get the blood flowing before finally landing, and hunching for a moment before breaking into a sprint; while sprinting down the ramp he slaps hands with many of the fans on one side of the front row but as he reaches the end of the ramp, he centers himself before taking a long jump and landing one foot on the apron, showing off his athleticism, and his hands reach forward to grip the rope and steady himself on the apron. Both of his hands grip the rope tightly before shaking the rope to fire himself up and quickly stepping between the top and middle rope, and breaking again into a sprint to one of the turnbuckles. While standing in there basking in the praise, he extends his arms out for several seconds and finally brings his hand in to pound his chest twice, and finally steps down from the turnbuckle to wait for the match to begin.}
Terri Morasco: It is great to see Seth Evans returning to the ring after four long years out of it, and even longer before thatā¦ it seemed like he was done with professional wrestling! But here he is! And this crowd is forgiving!
Vasco Dias: There were rumors going around explaining his reasoning for leaving. A calling elsewhere. Helping the people of Irma. The list goes on of what he tried to accomplish outside of the ring, but heās saying that his calling is back for wrestling.
{the lights shut off as the initial string of horns from āSimon Saysā echos throughout the venue now entirely devoid of light. As the horns begin to stop and the snares indicate the beat drop the black shifts to a strong red, illuminating the faces of all those in attendance. Xavier emerges as always with a singular focus. Maybe a single high five is given; this is a business trip. He grips the twine of the rope as fireworks leap out of their foxholes from each turnbuckle. First blue, than red, the white again. He enters the ring and circles it, cutting the square in half. As he stretches himself out on the ropes in is corner he locks eyes with his opponent and begins to stalk.}
Vasco Dias: Xavier Zion has been on fire since coming to the IWF! He did quite well in the battle royal. He also defeated Tytus Rost last week in what Seth Evans himself has claimed as the match of the week.
Terri Morasco: Absolutely! I did love Game On, by the way, and Xavier Zion has just been impressive!
{The bell sounds, and Zion and Evans both charge to the middle of the ring before both try to psych the other out; they circle the ring several times before finally clinching, and Seth immediately turns it into a side headlock! Zion hits Seth on the back before finally shoving him off to the ropes; Seth rebounds off the ropes and runs back into Zion with a shoulder block that knocks him to the mat.}
Vasco Dias: Seth has the size advantage over it, but heās no stranger to using the speed and technical precision, but he is smart to use his bulk to his advantage.
{Seth rushes to the ropes, and at that same moment, Zion springs to his feet. Seth rebounds off the ropes and is heading towards Zion who sails right over an oncoming Seth Evans! Seth ducks a bit and goes under Zion, heading to the opposite ropes, and on his way back Zion aims for the Zuperkick!}
Terri Morasco: Xavier Zion looking for a quick finish, but Seth telegraphs it!
Vasco Dias: And Xavier Zion could be in trouble with that one!
{Seth managed to stop on the dime, and catches Xavierās ankle; he spins him around and goes to lock in an ankle lock! Xavier twists and turns to try and keep Seth from being to get it locked in; Xavier rolls forward sending Seth into the ropes. The ropes cause Seth to spring back a couple steps, and Xavier rolls him into a schoolboy cover: One! ā¦ Two! Seth Evans kicks out of it!}
Vasco Dias: A nice counter done by Xavier Zion. Adaptation, that is the key!
Terri Morasco: He does earn the nearfall, but weāre still early.
{Seth and Zion get to their feet at the same time, and Seth is the first to charge only to be taken over with a hip toss followed immediately by a snap leg drop! Zion rolls over and presses his weight down on Evans to force his shoulders down: One! ā¦ Two! Seth powers out of it!}
Terri Morasco: Another nearfall, but not enough damage done to earn the victory.
{Zion stands right up, as Seth gets to a seated position; Zion stalks his opponent while he is still standing and gets his arms around him to go for a German Suplex! Seth hooks his leg around Zionās to prevent him from being able to sail him over, but Zion tries again to no avail! Seth reverses and is now in position to commit to a German Suplex of his own but Zion mirrors Sethās defense; Seth drives his forearm into Zionās back and pulls him back into a Dragon Sleeper!}
Terri Morasco: Xavier Zion could be in trouble with this! Seth is going to put him straight to sleep!
Vasco Dias: Seth has been unable to get a hold locked in, but Zion is in a bad way if he doesnāt break it because Seth is known to lock this into a grapevine, and then thereās nowhere to go!
{Zion chooses not to waste energy by flailing his arms; he reaches back for the ropes, but Seth takes them a step forward so that theyāre just out of his reachā¦}
Vasco Dias: Seth shows his ring awareness and gets Zion out of reach of the ropes.
{Zion drives a knee back, but Seth is able to avoid the shot; in Sethās maneuver to avoid the knee, Zion is able to get him off balance enough to send him back to the ropes, and Zion grips the rope tightly before Seth can get it locked in. Jessica Andrews immediately calls for the rope break, and Seth Evans does not hesitate in releasing the hold. Zion keeps a hand on the ropes as he gets himself back to a standing position, and fighting stance; meanwhile, Seth Evans has moved back to the middle of the ring in his own fighting stance.}
Vasco Dias: Seth Evans doesnāt look for any kind of unfair advantage over his opponent.
Terri Morasco: Itās not his way.
Vasco Dias: You do remember that he is no saint?
Terri Morasco: I think he learned his lesson, and just wants to be here to have a good match.
{Zion goes to the middle of the ring, as Seth looks to clinch; Zion steps to the side and connects with a middle kick to Sethās midsection! Seth grunts and holds his gut in pain, but Zion keeps the advantage by clinching with Seth now and driving repeated knee strikes to Sethās stomach, chest, and head; Seth covers his face to avoid any kind of concussion or knock out, but Zion repeats the strikes.}
Terri Morasco: Some well placed knees from Xavier Zion, showing himself savvy with MMA.
Vasco Dias: And one right strike, Seth Evans could be knocked out before he even hits the mat.
{Seth Evans finally catches one of Zionās legs, and then takes the other, taking him down with a double leg takedown! Seth keeps his legs held and flips over him, rolling Zion into a cover: One! ā¦ Two! Xavier Zion shoves Seth Evans off!}
Terri Morasco: A close call!
{Seth is the first to his feet this time, and Xavier rolls onto his stomach before pushing himself up to one knee; Seth times it perfectly and connects with a shining wizard! Seth makes another cover, hooking the leg this time: One! ā¦ Two! ā¦ Xavier Zion kicks out!}
Vasco Dias: That was a beautiful knee from Seth Evans, and it looked like it had the impact behind it to knock Xavier Zion out at least for the three count, but Xavier surprises us.
Terri Morasco: Seth Evans is trying to keep things fast paced, but Xavier Zion can definitely keep up with him. Seth Evans is simply trying to control the pace.
{Seth is back to his feet quickly, as Xavier Zion is rolling to his stomach and getting back up againā¦ Seth charges going for a second shining wizard! Xavier catches his leg and rolls backwards with him, taking his legs out from under him, and Xavier Zion looks to capitalize with a sharpshooter!}
Vasco Dias: What a reversal! Seth Evans in trouble now!
Terri Morasco: But he is getting to the ropes. He knows that he cannot let Xavier Zion get this locked in!
{Seth gets to the ropes before Xavier can get it locked in, and Jessica Andrews calls for the release of the hold; Xavier puts pressure on Sethās legs a moment longer after the rope break is called, causing Jessica Andrews to raise her voice at Xavier Zion before he finally releases and claims innocence.}
Terri Morasco: Jessica Andrews was moments away from disqualifying Xavier Zion.
Vasco Dias: He had four seconds. Four seconds he could have worn Seth Evans down, and I think thatās what he intended to do.
{Seth Evans uses the ropes to get back up, as Xavier Zion is arguing with Jessica Andrews that he didnāt do anything wrongā¦ Xavier Zion finally turns to Seth, only for Seth to lunge forward to go for Bulltrue! Zion ducks! Seth turns to Zion just in time for Zion to go for the Zuperkick! Seth ducks!}
Terri Morasco: These two know that move quite well, probably better than most of the other people in the IWF!
Vasco Dias: The superkick is a move that many favor, but not everyone can pull off quite as well as these two seem to be able to do. They hit it just right that it is capable of ending the match.
{Zion turns to Seth only to be lifted up onto his shoulders as Seth calls out for the Extermination!}
Vasco Dias: If one failsā¦
Terri Morasco: Xavier Zion is in trouble, with nowhere to go!
{Zion drives a few elbows back to Sethās head before finally being able to push himself off of Sethās shoulders; Seth leaps back and connects with the Clutch!}
Terri Morasco: CLUTCH!
Vasco Dias: Xavier Zion is out in the middle of the ring, and nowā¦ Seth Evans has options. Bulltrue? Extermination? Headcase? But either way, he has to get him back to his feet.
{Seth Evans gets to his knees before going up to his feet and looks at his downed opponent; Zion is holding his head in agony, and Seth marches over looking to force him to stand upā¦ Zion rolls Seth into a small package! Jessica Andrews is in position to see Sethās shoulders, does not see Xavier Zion with what may be an unintentional grab of the tights: One! ā¦ Two!}
Terri Morasco: Wait, I think that Xavier Zion has a handful of tights there?
Vasco Dias: What? I see nothing.
{Three!!!}
Terri Morasco: Iām quite certain that Xavier Zion pulled the tights!
Vasco Dias: I think you are just seeing things!
Announcer: Your winner! By way of pin fall! XAVIER! ZION!!!!!
{Seth Evans sits on his knees in disbelief, and is talking with Jessica Andrewsā¦ it seems heās trying to share the information that he felt Xavier Zion had committed an illegal pin. Meanwhile, this doesnāt stop Xavier Zion from raising his own arms into the air as the winner of the match while āSimon Saysā is playing over the PA system.}
Terri Morasco: Watch the replay! Restart the match!
Vasco Dias: It was a clean victory, Terri! You need to get over yourself!
{Jessica Andrews seems to be apologizing to Seth Evans, and lets out a long sigh indicating that heās not too thrilled by her decisionā¦ she gets up and holds Xavierās arm up as the winner.}

SINGLES MATCH
Mandi Mathews vs Kai Sachiko
-------------------------------------
Terri Morasco: Well our next match is interesting. Mandi Matthews verse Kai Saichiko.
Vasco Dias: Yeah. And you have to wonder about the mindset that Mandi is in tonight.
Terri Morasco: She watched her brother get whipped! If that happened to me, Iād certainly be in a mood too.
Vasco Dias: She said she was going to āchurchā tonight. We will see what that means.
{As soon as Rebel Girl - Bikini Kill turns on Kai Sachiko is rushing the ramp. She will stand on the ring post and point to herself while talking in her native tongue before pounding on her shoulder to show she is ready to go.}
Terri Morasco: Kai is a prominent member of the IWF performance center.
Vasco Dias: Bob and Devlin have been doing some great work down there. We will see if the hard work pays off tonight.
{Umbrella by All Time Low starts rocking the speakers as Mandi Matthews steps out onto the stage, a bit overwhelmed in a good way by all the people and there warm reception. She jams a bit to the music and then she jogs down to the ring as the chorus plays.}
Because when the sun shines we'll shine together
Told you I'll be here forever
Said I'll always be your friend
Took an oath I'ma stick it out 'til the end
{She slides into the ring and jams out the song with the crowd as they chant along.}
Now that it's raining more than ever
Know that we'll still have each other
You can stand under my umbrella
You can stand under my umbrella-ella-ella-ay-ay-ay
Under my umbrella-ella-ella-ay-ay-ay
{The music slowly fades as Mandi smiles at the crowd.}
Terri Morasco: And Mandi Matthews, still giving the fans a smile and a wave but I can still tell she is all business tonight.
Vasco Dias: Yeah. As soon as she takes her eyes off the crowd, that smile is all gone. She even entered the ring with that lead pipe she had in her promo.
{Mandi takes a moment to set the pipe down in the corner.}
Terri Morasco: Well the ref has called for the bell and OH MY GOD!!!
Vasco Dias: DIRTY DANCING DDT!!! SHE JUST BULRUSHED KAI SAICHIKO!
{Mandi hooks the leg and the ref counts. 1ā¦.2ā¦.3!!!!!}
Terri Morasco: And thatās it! Mandi just won that match in record time.
Vasco Dias: As soon as the bell ring she bolted out of that corner and just spiked Kai right on her head with that big ddt.
{Mandi takes a second to check on Kai and briefly apologize for the blind side attack. She then gets up, retrieves her lead pipe and she heads to the back.}
Terri Morasco: Well I guess that shows you the way Mandi Matthews is feeling right now. She is not messing around.
Vasco Dias: Iām not sure what sheās going to do if she finds the Church of Crosse. But after what we just saw, and the look of that lead pipe, Id be a little worried if I were Lucipher and the boys.
Terri Morasco: We are getting word that Willy Carter is standing by backstage!
{The scene cuts to Willy Carter back by gorilla as Mandi is walking through the curtain.}
Willy Carter: Mandi! That was crazy! You just won that match so fast it had to be a record! What are you thinking right now?
Mandi Matthews: Where is the Church of Crosse?
{Willy just shrugs.}
Willy Carter: I donāt know, I havenāt seen them. Iā¦.ā
{Then almost on cue, The Church of Crosse again appears down at the end of the hallway passing through the intersection. It was eerie how similar the scene looked to when Mandi saw them do it a few weeks ago. Mandi doesnāt even think she just takes off running toward the church. Willy and the cameras take off after her.}
Terri Morasco: As mad as she is, she canāt take on The Church of Crosse by herself.
Vasco Dias: Itās okay, she has Willy Carter with her!
Terri Morasco: That doesnāt help!
{Mandi has the lead pipe pulled back ready to swing as she rushes around the corner where she saw the Church go.}
Willy Carter: Mandi! Wait! Donāt doā¦...this?ā
{Willy turns the corner with the camera crew and all they see is a dead end. No Church. No Mandi. No sign of anybody. Willy glances around in confusion. }
Willy Carter: Ummmmmmmā¦...back to you?ā
{The camera cuts back to Terri and Vasco who both look just as confused as Willy did.}
Vasco Dias: Unmmmmmmā¦..where did Mandi and the Church go?
Terri Morasco: I uh-ummmmā¦..I donāt like what just happened here Vasco.
Vasco Dias: Ummm back to the pre show.

Gods and Monsters vs Fateful Danger
-------------------------------------
{Nightmare by AVenged Sevenfold comes on adn Draco Wolfe, Nick Danger, and Nate Fate come on the entrance ramp wearing Fateful Danger custom ring attire gear. They come down the ramp walking the ramp giving fans high fives. Draco slides inside the ring, while Nick Danger climb the top turnbuckle and get he fans hype then does a front filp and lands on his feet and Nate Fate springboards inside the the ring and they all a fighting pose and wait for their opponents.}
Vasco Dias: These two are here looking to bounce back after aā¦ pretty bad effort this past week. What do you think happened?
Terri Morasco: Just wasnāt their night, but it doesnāt eliminate them from this opportunity. Last week does not matter! If they win this week: they are the number one contenders!
{The lights in the arena flicker and die as if there were some kind of power outage. As the light sounds of an acoustic guitar play, the high pitched laughter of children fills the air. A red spotlight shines on the stage as heavy smoke rolls across the floor. As opening lyrics of Monster (Under my Bed) by Call me Karizma starts to sing Abraxes rises from the center of the stage, his eyes burning out from under his mask as he stares down at the ring.
The rhythm of the song changes from a twisted lullaby do a grinding rock song just as he rises to his full height. Abraxes glares around at the audience before he walks down the ramp, focused on the ring in front of him. He crawls into the ring, exaggerated movements of his hands and legs to appear more like a creepy spider then a man. He rolls to his feet, holding his arms into the air as the lullaby starts anew.}
Lord knows the devil don't sleep,
He never shuts his eyes,
You never hear him creepin'... heh...
{ The gentle melody of the song begins to play through the PA; fog is filling the stage at the same time that the lights dim down. The lighting hues change to a pale green as Locke emerges from behind the curtains sporting his traditional sly smirk, his head slightly lowered so as to hide his eyes under the brim of his hat his thumbs tucked into his belt. }
He's at your door, don't let him in,
He'll lie, he'll steal, he'll kill, he'll win
{ Locke walks down the ramp tipping his hat to the fans as he walks past them before shifting to his left and walking to and up the steel steps by the ring. He walks along the apron gliding his fingertips across the top rope while looking out at the crowd and stopping near the middle. He lifts his head to let his eyes peer into the camera in that direction, and out to the crowd, his smirk turning to a devilish grin joined by a slight chuckle before finally leaning down to step between the top and middle ropes, using his hand to keep his hat on. Upon getting into the ring he strides across, pounding his arm to his chest before stretching them out with his fingers extended out in a finger gun and throwing his head back. He holds the pose for a moment before dropping his arms and removing his hat and coat to hand them to the ring crew. He looks down at his shoes and kicks them on top of each other to get the dust off before ensuring his necklace is fastened tightly. He waits for the match to begin. }
Vasco Dias: And hereās Gods & Monsters! You canāt compete too well with these two. Theyāve got one thing in mind. Destroy.
Terri Morasco: Itās true, they did finally get on the same page. We canāt say that enough. They finally got on the same page, and they have proven to be dangerous for whoever they face.
{Tommy Knocker calls for the bell! Locke and Abraxes charge out of their corner, only for Draco Wolfe and Nick Danger to refuse to back down; they, in turn, charge at Gods & Monsters! Fists are flying from Locke to Nick Danger, and Draco and Abraxes battle back and forthā¦ Danger gets the upper hand over Locke, and battles him against the turnbuckle, but Abraxes is gaining the edge over Draco Wolfe and battles him against the opposite corner! Danger takes a step back, and charges for Locke -- Locke takes Nick Danger over with a shoulder back toss, but Nick Danger lands on the apron; Danger immediately drops from the apron. Locke looks across and sees that Abraxes is holding Draco in the corner, and an opening to charge in for a body splash!}
Vasco Dias: Gods & Monsters look to be doing well, and coming together looking to double-team Draco Wolfe while Nick Danger is stuck out of the ring.
Terri Morasco: It is smart tactics; get the bigger man down!
{Danger reaches under the bottom rope before Locke can dash away, and trips Locke! Danger drags Locke outside of the ring, and the two continue their slugfest! Abraxes, with his back to Draco, gets clocked in the back of the head with an elbow; Abraxes stumbles away from Draco, and is caught with a roundhouse kick to his ribcage! Locke and Nick Danger are already fighting their way up the ramp and behind the curtainsā¦}
Terri Morasco: Where are they going? Is this a singles match now?
Vasco Dias: Theyāre going to have to be careful, because itā¦ isā¦ notā¦ a singles match. There is No Disqualification, Falls Count Anywhere, Tornado, so if Locke or Nick Danger are not there to defend their partner, it could end without them even knowing!
{The camera goes backstage to see Jessica Andrews chasing down Locke and Nick Danger just in case either one of them go for the cover on each other.}
Vasco Dias: We will have a feed on them at all times, folks. Donāt worry!
Terri Morasco: Itās going to be hard to go back and forth, but we need to keep an eye on Abraxes and Draco Wolfe inside of the ring!
{Draco Wolfe connects with a second roundhouse kick, and goes for a third when Abraxes finally catches his leg; the monster shakes his head at Draco and takes him down with a single leg takedown, immediately dropping down over him and raining down forearms and fists anywhere that he can! Draco tries to cover himself, absorbing most of the damage with his arms, but Abraxes is still doing a heavy amount of damage causing Draco to wince some.}
Terri Morasco: Abraxes showing off his ferocity! His brute strength!
Vasco Dias: Thereās nothing pretty about what he does, but it is effective.
{Abraxes continues raining down the shots for several more seconds before finally standing up and throwing his arms out as a gesture of domination over Draco Wolfe. Draco rolls onto his stomach, and to one knee, shaking off the damageā¦}
Vasco Dias: Draco does not look too phased by those shots, and we know Abraxesās strength! He is capable of hitting harder than almost anyone on the roster!
Terri Morasco: He just looks a little pissedā¦
{Draco sneers and waits for Abraxes to turn around! When he does, Draco connects with a Superman Punch! Abraxes continues to stand, and Draco follows up with a superkick! Abraxes is still standing, although wobbly. Draco charges forward and this time with a running big boot that finally takes Abraxes down! Draco makes the cover, and Tommy Knocker counts: One! ā¦ ā¦ Two! Abraxes powers out of it!}
Terri Morasco: Draco Wolfe showing his own ferocity, and almost gets the cover!
Vasco Dias: But itās not enough to keep that monster down.
{The titantron becomes the focus: Locke and Nick Danger are seen battling down the hallway, and Nick Danger does a charging suicide dive at Locke in front of the locker room door -- the door shatters around them! Nick Danger makes the cover, and Jessica Andrews counts: One! ā¦ Two! Locke kicks out of it!}
Vasco Dias: And those two are still battling throughout the Staples Center!
Terri Morasco: They broke the locker room door. I donāt think Lebron is gonna be too happy about that.
Vasco Dias: Itāll get fixedā¦
{Nick Danger is back up and forces Locke to a standing position beginning to charge Locke toward the lockers! He tosses Locke into one, and takes a step back before springing forward and connecting with a shining wizard to Locke; Danger pulls Locke away, and again, tries for the cover: One! ā¦ Two! Locke still kicks out!}
Vasco Dias: Nick Danger knows that Abraxes is nowhere near to make the save, so if he can keep up that ruthlessness, he could bring an end all the way out there.
{Inside of the ring, Abraxes has rolled to his side and is watching the encounter; Fate slides a chair into the ring for Draco Wolfe, who picks it up and waits for Abraxes to stand upā¦ Abraxes turns to Draco, and Draco connects with a steel chair shot to the head! Abraxes stands there still, almost unphased. Draco connects with a second steel chair shot to the head! Abraxes just shakes his head.}
Vasco Dias: Is this Jason weāre seeing? Freddy? Michael Myers?!
Terri Morasco: I think they would be at least a little phased by thatā¦ this is Abraxes!
{Draco jabs the chair to Abraxesās midsection, causing him to keel over. Draco throws the chair to the mat and charges for the ropes looking to connect with a running DDT to Abraxes over the chair; however, Abraxes reverses it into a spinebuster! Fate grabs at her hair, and shakes her head, wondering if her attempt to help Draco backfired and may have cost them the match. Abraxes takes his turn to roll Draco up: One! ā¦ ā¦ Two! ā¦ Draco kicks out!}
Terri Morasco: Fate with a sigh of relief!
Vasco Dias: Abraxes, Iām certain, is happy that Draco Wolfe kicked outā¦ I donāt think he wants to be done hurting him yet.
{In the back, Locke is back to his feet and Nick Danger is still trying to keep the offense on; Locke connects with the cowpoke! Nick Danger covers his eye in pain, as Jessica Andrews is looking on -- she canāt do anything since there's no disqualification. Locke follows up with a knee to his midsection, then carries him up and back down with a gutbuster! Nick Danger holds his abdomen, and rolls through trying to get back up to his feet again rather quickly, only for Locke to charge forward and hit Nick Danger with Fenrirās Howl through the already broken door! Locke gets up and howls at the top of his lungs.}
Vasco Dias: Locke is now on the offense, and Nick Danger may be in trouble!
{Several of the other IWF superstars can be seen watching the carnage taking place between Locke and Nick Danger; Locke waits for Nick Danger to roll onto his stomach, trying to get up, before charging and going for Dirt on my Boots!}
Terri Morasco: Dirt on my Boots! Locke looking to close this one out!
{Nick Danger avoids it!}
Vasco Dias: A narrow miss!
{Locke stomps his foot on the ground, and Nick Danger connects with a superkick! He follows up immediately with a roundhouse kick, as Locke is holding his head and jaw in a bit of pain, but manages to stay on his groundā¦ Danger charges him for a flying double axe handle smash, but Locke gets an elbow up! The two battle down the hallway.}
Vasco Dias: Those two are going further. Out here, though, Draco is back to his feet and looks to want to take the fight back to the monster!
Terri Morasco: Draco Wolfe doesnāt seem too concerned for Nick Danger--
Vasco Dias: Thatās how he loses. He needs to focus on the man in front of him until that bell sounds, and then he better hope that itās Nick Danger scoring the pin fall!
Terri Morasco: Be that as it may, he should still worry about his partner. If I were him, I would get out of that ring and find Locke so that they can use the numbers game against him.
{Abraxes connects with a hard shot, and Draco stumbles back; he shakes his head at the monster, and fires back with a haymaker of his own! The punch sends Abraxes back against the ropes, and Draco follows up with a clothesline that sends them both over the top ropes -- Abraxes falls to the mat, but Draco lands on his feet! He picks Abraxes up and lands an uppercut, then clinches with him and drives several knees to his chest and head! The two battle their own way up the ramp, and Tommy Knocker follows as the two disappear behind the curtains now, too!}
Vasco Dias: {With his arms stretched out as if to say āwhat givesā} Well, I guess weāre just watching the screen!
Terri Morasco: Once theyāve taken this to the back, thereās no saying what could happenā¦
{The camera goes back to Locke and Nick Danger who have taken their fight to the parking garageā¦ Nick Danger charges at Locke, and Locke meets him with a stiff kick before taking him over with a Northern Lights Suplex!}
Terri Morasco: That is unforgiving cement!
Vasco Dias: That will definitely knock your spine out of alignment.
{Locke keeps the bridge, and Jessica Andrews counts: One! ā¦ Two! ā¦ Nick Danger kicks out!}
Vasco Dias: But he somehow kicks out of it!
Terri Morasco: I donāt know, he has to be completely out of breath.
{Locke stands back up, and pulls Danger to his feetā¦ he calls for the end, as he gets him into a front headlock and butterfly hold: he gestures for the Gunslinger DDT!}
Terri Morasco: Not on the cement!
{Just as Locke is about to drop Nick Danger, Nick Danger wriggles his arms free and charges Locke back against one of the cars in the back! The car alarm starts going off as Locke holds his back in a bit of pain, and Nick Danger tries to keep his offense strong with wild lefts and rights! Locke ducks underneath one, and starts firing his own shots; Danger telegraphs one, and now is back to throwing his own! The two battle through the parking garage a ways until they have reached the production truckā¦}
Terri Morasco: This canāt be goodā¦
Vasco Dias: Abraxes and Draco Wolfe have made their way to the boiler room!
{There is a crash heard on the screen as it shifts to Abraxes and Draco Wolfe; they stand across from each other inside of the boiler room, when the lights suddenly fade out. They come back on, and Abraxes is missing! Draco is searching the room until the lights go out againā¦ they come back on, and Abraxes is next to him! He connects with an uppercut! The lights go out, and back on, Abraxes is on the other side and connects with a headbutt! The lights go out, and back on, and Abraxes charges Draco against the wall and slams his head against the wall. The lights go out, and back on, and Abraxes has Draco setup for Hush!}
Vasco Dias: What is happening?!
Terri Morasco: Draco Wolfe has no idea where Abraxes is, and heās just been unable to defend himself!
{Thereās a sudden static, and Lockeās voice can be heardā¦}
Locke: Testing. Testing.
Vasco Dias: What the f---.... Can we get footage back at the production truck?
Locke: This is a public service announcement, yāall. Will the owner of anā¦ aā¦ ummā¦ a TOYOTA. AVALON. PLEASE. Report to the parking garageā¦ YOUR CAR IS ABOUT TO GET FUCKED UP!
{The static goes out, and there can be a crash heard from over the systemā¦}
Terri Morasco: That canāt be goodā¦
{The footage goes to the parking garage where Nick Danger can be seen battling Locke back! The two collide into the Toyota Avalon, and Danger grabs Locke by the head running it into the hood leaving a dent; Locke swings for a clothesline, but Danger ducks and lifts Locke up and drops him with a back body drop on the hood of the car!}
Terri Morasco: Whose car is that? Theyāre not going to be happy after this!
Vasco Dias: I feel like we should know its ownerā¦
{Nick Danger climbs up to the hood of the car, and picks Locke up with himselfā¦ he quickly drops him down this time on the roof of the car with a Red Eye DDT! He rolls Locke over, trying to make the cover: One! ā¦ Two! ā¦ Th--Locke kicks out!}
Vasco Dias: That car is getting all kinds of messed up!
{The camera shifts back to the boiler room, where Draco has finally started getting offense back on Abraxes! Draco is trying to slow it down a bit, focusing on countering Abraxesās ferocity, and it seems to be paying off. Draco connects with Tail of the Dragon!}
Vasco Dias: Draco could end it with that!
Terri Morasco: He may want to hurry!
{Locke is getting up, but Nick Danger is slightly ahead of him; Locke connects with a few stiff punches to Dangerās abdomen and pushes him back to the hood of the carā¦ Danger looks like he almost loses his balance, but stumbles forward falling to his knees on the car. He goes to get up, and Locke connects with Dirt on my Boots putting Nick Danger through the windshield!}
Terri Morasco: Dirt on my Boots, and Nick Danger is put through the glass! Locke going for the cover!
{Meanwhile, Draco Wolfe surprises Abraxes with Fateās Wrath!}
Vasco Dias: But Draco Wolfe also gets a surprise Fateās Wrath on Abraxes! If heās quick enough, it could keep him down!
{Locke rolls Nick Danger to the concrete, and drops over him to make the cover. At the same time, Draco Wolfe makes the cover over Abraxes. Jessica Andrews is counting for Locke and Nick Danger, and Tommy Knocker is counting for Draco Wolfe over Abraxes: One! ā¦ Neither man has moved. Two! Same thing. As the hand is coming down for three, Abraxes kicks out! Jessica Andrews, however, counts three! She points to the camera and signals for the bell to be called, leaving Draco Wolfe and Abraxes dumbfoundedā¦ Abraxes is shaking his head, starting to get himself together, but the bell has soundedā¦}
Announcer: Your winners! By way of pin fall! GODS! AND! MONNNNSSTTEEEERRRRSSSS!!!!!
{Draco Wolfe looks furious, and looks to continue a beating against Abraxes despite the match being overā¦ but the lights go out, and when they come back on, Abraxes is gone. Locke has his arm raised by Jessica Andrews as Locke just celebrates the victory of Gods & Monsters.}
Vasco Dias: Your number one contenders! Gods & Monsters! That was a close call. Draco almost scored a cover over Abraxes.
Terri Morasco: Doesnāt matter, though, the match is over! Gods & Monsters will face Powers That Be for the IWF World Tag Team Championships!
-------------------------------------
IWF WORLD TELEVISION CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
1K RP WORD LIMIT
Ulf Hednir(c) vs JC Keeton
-------------------------------------
{The beat to "Born Legendary" by Emanuel Vo Williams hits.}
I crawled out the gutter
I rose to the top
My reign everlasting
I canāt be stopped
I was made for the throne
Rise up til I moan
You been waiting on a ruler
Well Iām home
{As soon as he says the word "Home" pyro explodes from the rampway as JC Keeton steps through the curtain. He makes his way to the ring bouncing in rhythm to the music. When he reaches the ring he leaps up onto the apron and steps through the ropes, He continues to sway and bounce from heel to heel as he awaits the match to start.}
Vasco Dias: The winner of the battle royal, the number one contender, the manā¦ returningā¦ and hopingā¦ to win the IWF World Television Championship from Ulf Hednir this evening! JC Keeton! And he does look fired up! He does look ready to bring war.
Terri Morasco: And itās not going to be easy, but there is one thing about JC Keeton we need to acknowledge: he does NOT want to have anything handed to him! He did not even want to be in the battle royal unless he earned his spot, so the man pulled double duty to become the number one contender!
{The opening introduction for āRaise Your Hornsā by Amon Amarth plays over the PA system, and the crowd goes into a frenzy! The music can barely be heard over the sound of the fans. Ulf Hednir quickly shoves the curtains aside, dressed in his wolf headdress, and marches out onto the stage with the IWF World Television Championship being worn around his waist, and his drinking horn held high over his head.}
Ulf Hednir: SKĆ
L!
Crowd: SKĆ
L!
{Ulf drinks from the drinking horn, and after, turns it upside down to show the crowd that there is nothing left. Ulf attaches the drinking horn to a strap hanging off his primary belt, and marches down the ramp to shake hands or high five many of the fans along the ramp; fans scramble to get as close as they can and he takes an extra moment to ensure he greets as many as he can. Ulf goes around to the right side of the ring, still greeting as many fans as he can until he reaches the timekeeperās table, where he removes the headdress and the drinking horn, placing them on the table. He walks up to the apron and leaps up, grabbing the ropes, and leaning back to let loose a mighty howl.}
Raise your horns, raise them up to the sky,
We will drink to glory tonight!
Raise your horns for brave fallen friends,
We will meet where the beer never ends!
{The chorus plays over, and Ulf steps between the middle and top ropes before parading around the ring a bit. He removes the championship from his waist, and holds it over his head while showing it to all sides of the crowd. He finally hands it to the referee in charge, and waits for the match to start.}
Terri Morasco: And here he isā¦ amazingā¦
Vasco Dias: Youāre drooling a bit.
Terri Morasco: Oh! No, Iām fine! Anyways, Ulf knocked out Nick Knight. Ulf knocked out Even āThunderchildā Albrecht. In one night! To win the IWF World Television Championship, and he did not waste any time: he went to Roberto Verona and suggested this battle royal to give him a fight each and every week so long as he was champion!
Vasco Dias: Well, keep in mind it was just under thirty days since Ulf became the champion, and he hasnāt defended it once! This is his first defense! So heās already off to a bad start.
{The challenger, JC Keeton, and the champion, Ulf Hednir, stand at their respective sides of the ringā¦ each one in a fighting stance, awaiting the sound of the bell. JC Keeton suddenly steps forward and gestures to Ulf before sprinting at the ropes and completing a backflip by springing off the top rope. The crowd cheers for the athleticism as JC Keeton proceeds to stretch before the referee calls for the bell. Ulf Hednir shrugs his shoulders and takes a step to the middle of the ring; he points back at JC Keeton.}
Ulf Hednir: Sa pƄ dette (Watch this).
{Ulf completes a backflip while standing still, landing perfectly on his feet, and receives a larger pop from the crowd as he, too, shows off his athleticism.}
Vasco Dias: Can we get on with this?
Terri Morasco: Let them go a little bit longerā¦
Vasco Dias: This is not Chippendales!
{JC Keeton nods his head, and does a golf clap. Ulf points back at him, and returns the golf clap at him, and Blue Shoes seems to be on the same page as Vasco Dias as he asks if he can finally call for the bell; both men nod, and Blue Shoes calls for it!}
Vasco Dias: Finally!
{JC Keeton and Ulf Hednir move toward the middle of the ring, back in their fighting stances, and Ulf and JC bump fists in the middle. Immediately after, Ulf clinches with JC Keeton! Ulf easily powers JC Keeton back into the corner; Ulf has him held against the corner, but JC keeps him locked in a clinch to prevent Ulf from being able to use his striking! Blue Shoes gives them a couple seconds to see if there is a winner of this outcome, but after they seem to be in a stalemate Blue Shoes orders they release the clinch and meet back in the middle of the ring.}
Vasco Dias: Neither man gains an edge over that exchange, but JC Keeton is going to want to keep himself close that way Ulf doesnāt get any swinging powerā¦
Terri Morasco: It is true. His favor has been The Thor Punch since coming back, and not too many people have kicked out of it easily.
{Both competitors abide Blue Shoesās instructions, and meet back in the middle; they maintain their fighting stances, and Ulf closes the gap between them again trying to get a couple of jabs at him, but JC Keeton backs up rapidly and defends himself well until heās trapped again in the corner. Ulf goes for an uppercut to the body, but JC Keeton is able to block; JC goes for a double leg takedown! JC is able to push Ulf back with as much force as he can, but Ulf reverses it and slides himself and JC Keeton to the mat and locks him into a front headlock.}
Vasco Dias: I donāt think using MMA is the smartest thing to do against the likes of Ulf. You want to keep things fast paced, you want to attack low. There are many other options! This is not it!
Terri Morasco: I do not believe that JC Keeton is wanting to fight this way, but itās hard for JC Keeton to move when Ulf is constantly advancing against him. Ulf is playing it smart; he is forcing JC Keeton to wrestle his match, and in a position where he knows he has the advantage. JC Keeton canāt use that speed against him so long as Ulf is keeping the distance closed, and grounding him at times like this.
{Ulf squeezes hard with the front headlock, as JC Keeton tries to wriggle himself free. It is difficult, but JC Keeton manages to get up to his knees forcing Ulf into a kneeling position as well; Ulf squeezes harder trying to stop him from being able to break it, but JC musters more strength and forces them to a standing position before charging Ulf back into the corner! Ulf braces for the impact, but it still wears him down some. JC Keeton begins driving his shoulder into Ulfās midsection several times until Ulf finally releases the front headlock! JC Keeton stands up and connects with a knife edge chop!}
Vasco Dias: Time to start using that speed if you want a chance to walk out as the new champion!
Terri Morasco: Heās lighting it up!
{JC Keeton connects with a couple more knife edge chops while Ulf is in the corner, and Ulf finally telegraphs one and reverses it so JC is in the corner! Ulf goes for a spinning backhand, but JC telegraphs it and reverses it so Ulf is back in the corner again. Ulf takes a step out of the corner only for JC to connect with a beautiful dropkick that sends him back! The turnbuckle keeps Ulf from falling down, and he steps back out just as JC is back to his feet. JC connects with a second dropkick! Ulf hits the corner and falls to a seated position. JC is back up and rushes back a few steps before charging forward, and connects with a dropkick to a seated Ulf!}
Terri Morasco: JC Keeton is giving it to Ulf now.
Vasco Dias: You see? Ulf loses focus by agreeing to another MMA fight, and now he doesnāt care about that belt!
Terri Morasco: Well, thatās just not true at all.
{JC drags Ulf away from the ropes, and makes a cover: One! ā¦ Ulf powers him out, showing off his strength by literally tossing JC Keeton into the air!}
Terri Morasco: What power! He really is Thor!
Vasco Dias: Are you confusing him with Chris Hemsworth?
{JC, after being tossed in the air, moves away from his opponent and quickly scrambles to his feet. JC tries to stomp on Ulf, only for Ulf to catch his boot; Ulf pushes him back and scrambles to get to his own feet, while JC persists forward with middle kicks aimed for Ulfās ribcage and head! Ulf blocks most of the shots with his arm, and finally catches his leg. Ulf shakes his head at JC Keeton who looks a little concerned since he is forced off balance.}
Vasco Dias: Are we taking bets on if Ulf is just going to break his leg here?
Terri Morasco: I donāt think he would go that farā¦ JC Keeton back on the attack, though!
{JC leaps up and goes for an enzuigiri! He connects! Ulf manages to stay up, albeit dazed; JC springs up, and charges Ulf only to be taken up and over with a powerslam! Ulf hooks the leg: One! ā¦ Two! JC Keeton kicks out, having appeared to purposely allow the two count to buy himself another moment to catch his breath.}
Terri Morasco: JC Keeton is able to kick out, but that powerslam did knock the wind out of him.
{Ulf is quick to his feet, but drags JC Keeton with him; JC fires in with a hard right strike, followed immediately by a kick to Ulfās calf. JC fires a second kick! And a third! JC charges back against the ropes and rebounds off to gain momentum, and charges at the champion! JC leaps into the air in an attempt for Ode to the Outlaw!}
Vasco Dias: Heās going for a quick finish, butā¦
{Ulf ducks underneath!}
Vasco Dias: Misses the mark!
{JC Keeton manages to land on his feet, and quickly regains his balance.}
Terri Morasco: But he is able to recover and make a great landing!
{As JC is still regaining his foothold, Ulf searches for him and finds him with an opening; Ulf grabs JC by the arm to turn him around and goes for a short-arm clothesline. JC ducks underneath it, and rolls Ulf up into a schoolboy cover: One! ā¦ Two! Ulf kicks out!}
Terri Morasco: JC turned that around quickly, and avoided that heavyā¦ heavyā¦ arm of Ulfās, the power to knock a man clean out!
Vasco Dias: But he better be the first one up for another chance.
{JC Keeton rolls away from Ulf, and up to his feet; Ulf rolls the opposite direction but is also to his feetā¦ the moment Ulf is up, JC Keeton connects with a beautiful dropkick! Ulf stumbles back and is saved from falling to the mat by hanging onto the ropes. JC is already up to his feet. JC charges at Ulf, and Ulf leans over taking JC Keeton over the ropes with a back body drop!}
Vasco Dias: JC Keeton is out of the ring!
Terri Morasco: This is precisely what he avoided to earn this first match, but he could be seriously hurt after that fall!
{JC Keeton is able to adjust and have a fairly clean landing; he grunts in pain but is already stirring and getting up to his feet. Inside of the ring, Ulf takes a deep breath before glancing back at his rising challenger; he rushes to the opposite ropes, and rebounds, coming back and sails over the top rope with a suicide dive! Ulf hits his target, and lands back on his feet! He takes a few steps forward and boasts to the crowd.}
Ulf Hednir: SKĀĆ
L!!!!!
Crowd: SKĆ
L!!!!!
Vasco Dias: Ulf taking a moment to amp up the crowd.
Terri Morasco: And this crowd is loving it, Ulf showing off his athleticism with that one.
{Ulf struts a few more moments outside of the ring before going back to JC Keeton; he leans down to pick him up and slides him back inside of the ring. Ulf climbs up to the apron, and rather than going back inside of the ring despite Blue Shoes pleas, Ulf points to the turnbuckle! He receives a pop from the crowd, and Blue Shoes just retreats back to not get in the way while Ulf climbs to the top rope.}
Vasco Dias: Heās taking too long!
Terri Morasco: We donāt see him climb to the top rope often, so I am curious what he has in storeā¦
{JC Keeton is able to get himself up just as Ulf gets to the top rope; Ulf prepares to launch himself off, but JC Keeton launches himself forward and connects with a leaping uppercut!}
Vasco Dias: These two are just battling for a little bit of an edge that neither one wants to give!
Terri Morasco: But Ulf is in for a hard landing if he canāt get himself off of the ropes.
{JC Keeton climbs up to the second rope, and connects with a few hard strikes to keep Ulf from recovering; he attempts to step up to the third, but gets shoved off! JC lands back on his feet but stumbles back, almost falling down, but regains his balance. Ulf leaps from the second rope for a diving double axe handle smash, but JC side steps to avoid it and connects with a kick to Ulfās midsection. JC connects with a second, straight kick to Ulfās midsection and puts Ulf into a front headlock.}
Terri Morasco: Ulf is now in trouble, butā¦ wait!
Vasco Dias: Ulf is just overpowering him!
{While in this position, Ulf lifts JC Keeton up onto his shoulders and JC Keeton has to release the hold to keep himself balanced! Ulf has him up in a firemanās carry position as JC tries to throw his elbow back, but Ulf tilts his head away so that he avoids most of the impact! Ulf finally sails JC Keeton over with the Valhalla Driver!}
Vasco Dias: Valhalla Driver! This move is capable of ending the match, make no doubt about it, and Ulf is going for the cover!
Terri Morasco: This could be the end! JC Keeton didnāt see that one coming!
{Ulf hooks the far leg: One! ā¦ Two! ā¦ JC Keeton rolls his shoulder from the canvas!}
Terri Morasco: JC Keeton stays alive!
Vasco Dias: I thought for sure that Ulf was going to cash in on his first defense.
{Ulf signals for the crowd that he is going to go for the Gleipnir!}
Vasco Dias: We havenāt seen Ulf use Gleipnir in so long, but I think that if he gets it in, JC Keeton could have no choice but to tap out.
Terri Morasco: Otherwise he may rip his arms off!
{Ulf gets a hold of one of JC Keetonās arms, and JC shakes his head; Ulf tries to get the other arm, but JC keeps it out of his reachā¦ Ulf drives his knee into JCās back, causing JC to reach for it and giving Ulf his arm unintentionally! Ulf tries to get the hold locked in, but JC manages to roll backward before Ulf can get it locked in and delivers a kick to Ulfās skull!}
Terri Morasco: Heās just able to get himself out of trouble, but he has to get up. Being on the ground against Ulf is not a smart move.
Vasco Dias: I completely agree with you there. Ulf can be annoying, but he is dangerous on the ground.
{JC kicks back again connecting with Ulfās skull a second time, and Ulf gets up holding his headā¦ JC Keeton takes this opportunity to get back to a standing position, and rushes forward with a spinning uppercut! Ulf is hanging onto the ropes, and uses them to get himself back to a standing position; JC pushes him against the ropes and sends him off with an Irish whip! Ulf rebounds off and goes to reverse with a running big boot! JC Keeton ducks under and telegraphs Ulf turning around to go for Ode to the Outlaw!}
Vasco Dias: We could see a-- nope!
{Ulf catches JC Keeton and holds him up in position for a powerbomb! JC Keeton holds on to Ulfās head to keep himself from falling, as Ulf is trying to wriggle him free to be able to slam him downā¦}
Terri Morasco: And JC Keeton is holding on for dear life!
Vasco Dias: Ulf is parading around the ring with him, and JC Keeton just has nowhere to go. If he gets slammed, Ulf maintains control and could bring this match to a close.
{JC Keeton releases one hand and punches Ulf in the head! He punches him a second time! And a third! He manages to get Ulf dazed a moment, and spins around so heās on his shoulders and theyāre both facing the same direction: JC Keeton takes Ulf back with a poisoned frankensteiner! JC Keeton quickly crawls over and hooks the legā¦}
Vasco Dias: JC Keeton going for a cover, hoping that the move was able to knock Ulf out long enoughā¦ One!
Terri Morasco: Two!
{One! ā¦ Two! ā¦ Th-- Ulf is able to kick out!}
Terri Morasco: He hit his head pretty hard, but Ulf is able to kick out!
Vasco Dias: JC looks surprised. I think all of us are.
{JC Keeton gets back up to his feet and charges at the far ropes, coming back and spins in a full 360Āŗ for landing on Ulf with a leg drop! JC makes another cover: One! ā¦ Two! ā¦ Ulf powers out of it, a little more powerfully!}
Vasco Dias: JC is looking to get that finish, but in the meantime, forcing Ulf to exhaust energy.
Terri Morasco: Ulf is just trying to get his thoughts back together, but it seems JC doesnāt want to do thatā¦ which is smart, absolutely.
{Ulf just lies on his back for a moment, trying to regain some of his breath as JC is again up to his feet; JC charges the ropes and comes back to land with a jumping double footstomp! JC turns around and falls over Ulf: One! ā¦ Two! Ulf again powers out of it!}
Terri Morasco: JC is just relentless! Itās like a second wind hit him, and he just knows he has to keep that offense strong. He cannot let Ulf get a moment to breathe!
Vasco Dias: The early going seemed to be Ulfās favor, but JC has turned it around and is showing similar technical ability to his father, and keeping Ulf down.
{Ulf rolls onto his stomach this time, holding one arm against his stomach in a bit of pain; meanwhile, JC Keeton gets straight to his feet. He measures Ulf up and connects with a dropkick that sends Ulf back down to the mat! JC looks to follow up with a second leg drop, but Ulf is able to move out of the way; JC holds his tailbone in a bit of pain from the missed landing, and Ulf is slow to get up.}
Vasco Dias: JC is in pain, but still gets to his feet first.
Terri Morasco: But Ulf is trying not to linger around too long, knowing he needs to regain pace of the match.
{JC, still holding his tailbone for just a moment longer, goes forward and connects with a clubbing forearm to Ulfās back! He pulls him in for a front headlock, but Ulf lifts JC up and runs him back into the turnbuckle! JC now holds his back, and tries to get away from the corner, but Ulf drives his shoulder into JCās midsection! A second shoulder block. As Ulf goes for a third, JC manages to jump over and try to take Ulf down with a sunset flip, but Ulf is holding the ropes.}
Terri Morasco: JC Keeton is trying to take Ulf down with a sunset flip, but Ulf has the ropes to keep the leverage in his favor!
Vasco Dias: And JC Keeton could be in trouble if he doesnāt move!
{Ulf just drops all of his weight down, and reaches back to roll JC Keeton up into a cover: One! ā¦ Two! ā¦ JC Keeton kicks out!}
Vasco Dias: JC Keeton didnāt look like he was going to get out of that one.
Terri Morasco: But heās put himself in a bad situation, and Ulf is just taking advantage!
{Ulf releases JCās legs, and begins to pummel away! Lefts and rights! Lefts and rights! JC Keeton does his best to defend himself from the onslaught, but Ulf is using his MMA ground and pound style to his advantage; heās unable to find a clean shot, so finally does stand up and reaches down to grab JC by the shoulders and neck area and force him back to a standing position; he just shoves him in the corner, and turns his back to him pushing all his weight against him to keep him in the corner.}
Terri Morasco: JC Keeton is trapped in the corner, and still hurting over the pummeling.
Vasco Dias: And now Ulf has him trapped, and is getting ready to inflict even more damage, even more pain, than JC Keeton has experienced in a while.
{Ulf begins alternating elbows backward to JC Keeton who finds himself unable to defend himself; the elbows fly back repeatedly! JC Keeton just wobbles back and forth from each one! Ulf is satisfied after several seconds of abusing the challenger with the elbows, and then turns around and lifts him to a seated position on the second rope. Ulf turns his back to him and aims to take him over onto his shoulder for a running powerslamā¦}
Vasco Dias: JC Keeton is going to want to wake up rather soon for any chance of turning this aroundā¦
Terri Morasco: Andā¦ What?!
{JC Keeton gets Ulf into an inverted front headlock and leaps over to connect with the diamond dust!}
Terri Morasco: JC Keeton! Almost out of instinct, he fights back against Ulf!
Vasco Dias: I donāt know where that came from, but JC Keeton yet again had better capitalize.
{The impact caused Ulf to bounce from the mat, and to a seated position in the corner; JC Keeton is just lying flat on his back trying to regain his breath for the several seconds that he canā¦ Blue Shoes is leaning over JC Keeton asking if he would like to continue, or if he can continue; JC Keeton just nods his head, but Blue Shoes seems to say that heās going to give him the count of ten as Blue Shoes starts counting! One!}
Vasco Dias: Ulf is down in the corner, and JC Keeton is just outā¦ (Two!) Blue Shoes doesnāt have a choice but to count. (Three!)
Terri Morasco: If neither man gets up, Ulf could retain in a draw. (Four!) But what does that do for this tournament? Does JC Keeton get a rematch?
Vasco Dias: Iām going to have to say no. (Five!) He has one opportunity, and that is tonight! If he doesnāt walk out with the winā¦ (Six!) if he loses or draws, heās going to have to wait until Ulf makes it through the list. IF he makes it through the list. (Seven!)
{During that time, JC Keeton rolled over onto his stomach and began pushing himself up. At the count of seven, JC Keeton was to his feet and was able to stop the count; JC Keeton shakes the cobwebs out, and gets himself back together, before charging to the far ropes and coming back for a hesitation dropkick to Ulf who is still out in the corner! JC connects!}
Vasco Dias: JC Keeton now needs to get Ulf Hednir away from the ropes, and he may be able to score the victory. Both Ulf and JC have landed numerous trademarks against each other, but neither has been able to land a finisher! But I think both are winded enough that itās not going to matter.
Terri Morasco: JC better pull with all his mightā¦
{JC pulls Ulf from the corner a couple feet, and makes the cover; he takes the time to hook his far leg: One! ā¦ Two! ā¦ Th--Ulf gets his shoulder off the mat!}
Terri Morasco: Neither man is quitting out of this one!
Vasco Dias: JC Keeton is asking Blue Shoes about that count. It seemed a little slow to me.
Terri Morasco: It was done right, and JC Keeton is only in disbelief! Really, how either man is still able to stand is beyond me.
{JC Keeton sits up and just shakes his head in disbelief, while Ulf is on the mat looking like he was trying to roll out of bed.}
Vasco Dias: One thing thatās important by the length of this match is that even if Ulf does win, he has to fight again next week! Against Nick Knight! And Nick Knight will not be an easy opponent. The former champion wants that belt back, so you have to imagine that heās just watching this one closely to come up with a game plan for Ulf.
Terri Morasco: A valid point. We knew that these early matches especially would be rough for Ulf, but yeahā¦ he is wearing himself down the longer each match goes.
{JC Keeton points out to the ropes signaling that heās going to land Youth in Motion! Ulf Hednir is still laid out in the ring, and JC Keeton stumbles and limps his way to the ropes before stepping out onto the apron; he just gestures for Ulf to get up. Daring him to get up. Challenging him to get up. Ulf has begun to push himself up, and finally to his feet -- JC Keeton springs to the top ropeā¦}
Terri Morasco: JC Keeton is up!
Vasco Dias: And if he connects with this, we could be looking at a new champion!
{Ulf spots him just in time and just leaps forward to hit the ropes! JC Keeton loses his balance on the top rope, but manages to land back on the apron; Ulf uses the ropes to pull himself up, and grabs JC by the head and charges him to the turnbuckle and slamming his head on the post!}
Vasco Dias: JC Keeton is seeing lights now.
Terri Morasco: He saw the end coming, and Ulf manages to avoid it. There is no way that either man will be able to kick out of a finisher if it were to come this late.
{Ulf climbs up to the second rope, and delivers a forearm to JC before dragging him up to the second rope with himā¦ Ulf connects with another couple forearms before stepping up to the top rope, and dragging JC with him, again.}
Vasco Dias: Ulf seems to be in desperation to bring an end to this match. What are we going to see?
Terri Morasco: Nothing good!
{Blue Shoes seems to be pleading with Ulf to get down, worried for the safety of both champion and challenger. Ulf gets JC setup for a superplex! JC senses what is coming, and fires a few desperation shots to Ulfās exposed ribcage!}
Vasco Dias: JC Keeton trying to fight it off!
Terri Morasco: If he shoves Ulfā¦ he maintains control, and just one move could bring this whole thing down.
{JC Keeton continues driving a few punches to Ulfās ribcage, and Ulf fires back with a couple of his own that causes JC to grimace; Ulf gets a good grip on JC Keeton, and sails him over with the superplex! The crowd seems to be in a frenzy!}
Terri Morasco: Oh, my God!
Vasco Dias: These men are broken!
{Ulf manages to drape an arm over JC Keeton, but JC Keeton does the same! Blue Shoes looks down to see both men covering each other, albeit weakly, and has no choice but to make a double count: One! ā¦ Two! ā¦ Thre--BOTH ULF AND JC ROLL THEIR SHOULDERS OFF THE MAT!}
Vasco Dias: Unbelievable! How is either man still breathing?
Terri Morasco: I have no clue, but JC Keeton and Ulf Hednir are pouring their hearts out inside of the ring.
{Ulf wearily begins to get to his feet, at the same time as JC Keeton; both men are clinging to each other trying to get themselves to their feet, while trying to gain an advantage over the otherā¦ Ulf strikes first! A hard right! JC Keeton stumbles back, but snaps forward with a right of his own! Ulf stumbles back, and comes back to fire another! The two exchange rights with each other a few more times before JC Keeton ducks underneath; he waits for Ulf to turn around and leaps as high as he can going for an Ode to the Outlaw! Ulf ducks under JC Keeton and hits the ropes; JC lands on his feet, wobbly, and barely standingā¦}
Terri Morasco: JC needed that!
Vasco Dias: And Ulf looks like he mayā¦ he may go for it!
{Ulf rebounds off the ropes, and JC Keeton turns around just in time for Ulf to leap into the air and connect with The Thor Punch!}
Vasco Dias: The lights are out for JC Keeton!
Terri Morasco: Weāve seen these two kick out of crazy things, but nopeā¦ I donāt see it happening this time.
{Ulf almost collapses over JC Keeton who has fallen like a sack of potatoes, and hooks the leg closest to him. Blue Shoes makes the count: One! ā¦ Two! ā¦ Three!}
Vasco Dias: What a war! What a battle!
Terri Morasco: These two promised they would be the future of this company, and if this match is any kind of indication, the future looks very, very bright!
Vasco Dias: One victory! Ulf Hednir has thirteen to go!
Announcer: Your winner! By way of pin fall! AND STILL! IWF World Television Champion! ULF! HEDNIR!!!!!
{āRaise Your Hornsā by Amon Amarth is playing over the PA system as Ulf struggles to sit up; his arm is holding his ribcage, stomach, and everywhere he can while his other arm is being raised by Blue Shoesā¦ JC Keeton has opened his eyes, but seems to be in a full daze.}
Terri Morasco: After that effort from JC Keeton, he has nothing to be ashamed for! Itās going to be a while before heāll be able to challenge Ulf in a rematch, at leastā¦ so long as Ulf continues managing to retain, but I know these fansā¦ I know even myself! I am counting the days to see these two share the ring again!
Vasco Dias: These two may need the medical staff just to get them out of the ring.
{Ulf Hednir, with the help of Blue Shoes, does get to his feet and stumbles around the ring a bitā¦ he says something to Blue Shoes, who nods, and Blue Shoes goes to the ropes where he is handed the IWF World Television Championship and two drinking horns; Blue Shoes hurries back over to Ulf, who has now leaned over JC Keeton and extends a hand. JC Keeton looks up at him. Groggy. Sore. Defeated. JC does not look like heās in the greatest of moods, but he reluctantly accepts Ulfās hand as Ulf pulls him to his feet.}
Terri Morasco: There is nothing to be ashamed of! This match could have gone either way, and we all know that! Sportsmanship from Ulf Hednir to JC Keetonā¦
Vasco Dias: JC Keeton does not look pleased, but heās young. Heās just come back. This is his second singles match since coming back and it was for the IWF World Television Championship!
{Blue Shoes first hands the championship to Ulf, who drapes it over his shoulder; he tilts his head to the side to pinch it between his head and shoulder while then taking the drinking horns from Blue Shoes, and Blue Shoes goes back to the edge and gets a few cans of beer to help Ulf with filling them. Ulf hands one of the drinking horns to JC Keeton, who againā¦ reluctantlyā¦ accepts.}
Vasco Dias: Blue Shoes didnāt earn himself a beer? The disrespect.
Terri Morasco: Well, heās got more matches to callā¦
Vasco Dias: One beer wonāt kill him!
{Ulf holds the drinking horn up, and JC Keeton follows suit.}
Ulf Hednir: SkƄl!
{JC Keeton appears puzzled, but has a weak smile to Ulf.}
JC Keeton: ā¦ SkĆ„l!
{Ulf and JC tap the drinking horns together, and Ulf raises his first downing the beer! JC Keeton is right behind him. Ulf holds the horn upside down after drinking, showing that not one drop was wasted, and JC Keeton does the same. Both give each other a nod of respect to each other before exiting the ring. The medical staff follows closely in case one of them collapses, but it seems both men make it to the back on their own feet, with their own strength. They murmur amongst each other talking about the match that they just had with each other.}

IMPERIAL DIAMONDS CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
Cals Jacobsen vs Rowan(c)
-------------------------------------
{The echoing guitar intro of "Tears Don't Fall" sounds through the arena before a howl of "LET'S GOOOOOO!" brings Cals Jacobsen walking out onto the stage, normally-playful demeanor replaced with a solemn look on their face. They head down the ramp, fistbumping and high-fiving with the crowd without looking away from the ring.}
Alison Valance: The following contest is scheduled for one fall, and it is for the IWF Imperial Diamond Championship! Introducing first, the challenger, from Minneapolis, Minnesota, weighing in at 130 pounds, they are the Nonbinary Nightmare, Cals Jacobsen!
Terri Morasco: Cals Jacobsen has been campaigning for this match since the moment Rowan MacDonnough returned to IWF. The injury dealt to Vivienne Rodgers lit a fire under Cals, and they have been right at the vanguard of IWFās womenās division ever since.
Vasco Dias: Theyāve also been aligning themselves, even if theyāre not trying to, with the biggest thorns in managementās side. Making enemies of the Dark Triad AND Roberto Verona? Not a wise move...
{Climbing the ring steps, Cals hangs off the ringpost, nodding along to the music, and steps through the ropes, pacing in a circle before running to the ropes and leaping up onto the second rope, throwing their hood back and bellowing out to the fans. Cals detaches their hood, unfolding it and tossing it into the crowd before backing into a corner, watching the ramp intently.}
Alison Valance: And their opponentā¦
{Lights out. The thrumming opening of āTrip the Darknessā by Lacuna Coil pulses through the arena, matched by a few flashing sparks of dark red light throughout the building. Red lights shine down and around the entranceway, still accompanied by sporadic flashing throughout the arena, illuminating the sihlouette of Rowan MacDonnough standing at the top of the ramp, a pair of chains hanging from her wrists. She breathes heavily, shoulders heaving as her head hangs down. As the opening continues, red smoke floods down the ramp as Rowan occasionally twitches spasmodically in rhythm with the music...}
"Come to me, come to me... I am waiting for you. Come to me... I can't wait..."
Alison Valance: From Kilkenny, Ireland, weighing in at 145 pounds, she is the reigning and defending IWF Imperial Diamond Champion, Rowan MacDonnough!
Terri Morasco: Feel that, Vasco. It's like the temperature drops the moment she enters the arena. That otherworldly aura of menace, emanating from a Hall of Famer who's slain every challenger that's stood in her way.
Vasco Dias: Rowan is a terror, to be sure, and all the lights that have stood against her darkness have been snuffed out. Cals Jacobsen is going to suffer the same fate, I can just feel it.
{As the song roars to life, Rowan's head snaps upwards, glaring around at the audience as her golden eyes glint in the smoke and the red light. The stage and ramp are lit by swirling red light, but everything else remains dark. She lopes forward, unconsciously rolling her wrists as her eyes bore a hole in the air before her. The smoke seems to follow her down the ramp as she walks. She drops the chains as she reaches ringside, climbing up the ropes and perching over the ring on the top corner, standing slowly as she continues to twitch and spasm in time with the music.}
"Follow me, follow me! As I trip the Darkness... one more time!"
{She leaps into the ring, landing with a roll in the center of the ring and pulling into a feral crouch. She stands, raising her arms as though conducting a savage chorus, posing one last time...}
"Follow me, follow me... I awake from madness.... JUST IN TIME!"
{She slowly, reluctantly backs towards a corner, eyes constantly moving as she settles in to wait for the bell.}
Terri Morasco: This is a grudge match months in the making, for the Imperial Diamond Championship. This is the sort of moment that history is made of. The stakes could barely be higher tonight, Vasā
{As Terriās speaking, Jess Fowler walks out onto the stage, microphone in hand, and taps it twice, to the resounding boos of the fans, which are promptly ignored.}
Terri Morasco: Fowler? What theā¦
Jess Fowler: As much as it pains me to do this to the self-proclaimed Nonbinary Nightmare, I am here to relay that by order of management, this contest will now be a no-disqualification match.
{They feign concern as the crowd erupts in a mix of bloodlust and outrage at the sudden changing of terms, Cals leaning over the ropes and shouting at Fowler furiously for a moment.}
Terri Morasco: WHAT?! Theyāre trying to kill Cals! Putting them in there with Rowan, in a no-DQ match?!
Vasco Dias: Itās brutal, but itās effective. I imagine the Dark Triad may have made some callsā¦
{Fowler offers a humorless smirk as they raise the microphone one more time.}
Jess Fowler: Pick your friends more carefully, Jacobsen. Oh, and...ring the bell.
{As Fowler turns their back, the bell rings, and Cals immediately turns around into a savage jumping high knee strike that rocks their head back! Rowan lands on her feet and hauls Cals to the center of the ring, snaring them up in a Thai clinch and raining savage knees to the head, then to the body as Cals tries desperately to cover up!}
Terri Morasco: An ambush to start the match, and Rowan is throwing hard and heavy early!
Vasco Dias: Rowan MacDonnough did not become a Hall of Famer by taking the patient approach, Terri. She saw an opening, she took an opening!
{Cals swats one of Rowanās knees away, pushing back to break the clinch, and Rowan presses the advantage, moving in with a vicious roundhouse kick to the midsection. Cals staggers back, firing off a low kick to Rowanās lead leg, which Rowan quickly checks. Cals steps back, taking a deep breath, and when Rowan advances again, this time itās into a quick spinning heel kick to the midsection, doubling the Irish Nightmare over and sending her staggering back. Cals steps forward into a European uppercut, then reaches up and snares a headlock on Rowan, having to stretch to get the hold applied over Rowanās height advantage. They snap Rowan over with a side headlock takedown, but Rowan quickly counters out into a headscissors, wrenching using her long legs. Cals kicks free, and as they do Rowan rolls to the floor, ducking under the ring apron and looking for a weapon!}
Terri Morasco: Rowan, as always at home with fewer rules, looking to bring plunder into play!
Vasco Dias: The sooner she does, the sooner she can call it a night!
{Rowan withdraws a steel chair, and Cals immediately runs to the opposite ropes, panic in their eyes. As Rowan stands, Cals comes off the ropes and leaps with a baseball slide that sends them under the bottom rope, feet crashing into the chair as itās raised and driving it into the face of Rowan MacDonnough! The crowd erupts at the well-timed risk, and Cals hops to their feet, exhaling before picking up Rowan and moving to sling her into the ring again. Rowan, however, stops Cals short with a savage elbow to the gut before lighting them up with a European uppercut, a response to the earlier blow. Cals staggers back, and Rowan scoops up the chair again, only to be met with a roundhouse to the ribs, driving her back! Cals rubs their jaw for a moment, hopping up onto the apron, and charges, leaping off and driving Rowan into the barricade with the GREEN SKIES Meteora!}
Terri Morasco: And we have our first big move of the match, with Cals Jacobsen unleashing that patented double knee strike and sandwiching Rowan against the crowd barrier!
Vasco Dias: High risk can be high reward, and Cals managed to buy just enough of an opening to make that happen! But they canāt get overconfident. Itās not like Rowan isnāt a durable competitor, weāve seen her come back from absolutely massive beatings before.
{Cals is slower to stand this time, but manages to succeed in getting Rowan up and rolled back into the ring. They climb up to the apron, exhaling with a grimace, and move to step back through the ropes. Rowan, however, springs back up, snapping Calsā neck across the top rope! Cals clutches their throat, and Rowan steps to the apron with criminal intent in her eyes. She lights up Cals with one uppercut, a second, a third, driving them back nearly to the ringpost, before taking a few steps back and charging at them. Rowan leaps up mid-stride, body twisting and wrapping her legs around Calsā head to whip them off the apron with a hurricanrana! Rowan lands in a kneeling crouch as Cals crashes into the mats at ringside, and Rowan scoops up the chair again, shaking her head with a glint in her eyes.}
Terri Morasco: Just as soon as the advantage comes, though, it goes, with that MASSIVE hurricanrana to the outside from Rowan!
Vasco Dias: Few people take risks with their body like Rowan, and few have profited nearly as much as she has. Look at Cals, the way their head whiplashed on impact. They took that hard, and now Rowan has an obvious target.
{Rowan advances on Cals, swinging the chair down in a brutal arc right between their shoulderblades. The cracking impact resonates through the arena, and Cals lets out a howl of pain. Rowan shakes her head again, and the camera mic picks up a āPatheticā grumbled through her mask before swinging the chair again. Cals takes this shot more on their shoulder, wincing and clutching their right arm as they struggle to find a vertical base again. Rowan rests the chair against the barricade for a moment, but just long enough to oblige and haul them up. Cals is brought back to a vertical position, only to eat another vicious headbutt, and when Rowan pulls her forehead back this time both competitors are streaked with crimson, cuts opened in parallel on their temples. Rowan laughs, daubing her fingers in the blood from Calsā wound, and wraps her arms around Calsā midsection, turning and driving the challenger into the apron back-first! Cals lets out a cry of pain, but manages to collect themselves enough to drive an elbow down into Rowanās shoulderblades! Rowan straightens up immediately, barking āGOOD!ā at Cals before drilling them with a kneelift, slinging them into the ring as they double over!}
Terri Morasco: Is...Rowan HAPPY that Cals is mounting some offense here?
Vasco Dias: It makes sense. Itās no fun to prey on something that doesnāt at least struggle.
Terri Morasco: Thatās sick, Vasco.
Vasco Dias: Itās nature, Terri.
{Rowan slides the chair into the ring, cracking her neck, and follows, murderous intent in her eyes. Rowan picks Cals up by the hair, dragging them to a kneeling position, and seems to be setting up for the BURNING HATRED neck snap! NO! Cals grabs one of Rowanās arms, forcing a foot underneath them, and manages to snap Rowan over with a modified judo throw! Rowan bounces to her feet, undeterred, and charges in, only for Cals to meet her with a low dropkick to Rowanās left knee! Rowan hits the mat hard, and Cals immediately grabs Rowanās leg, dragging her over to the ropes and draping the wounded leg over the second rope, foot hanging out over the apron. Cals delivers a vicious stomp to the knee before stepping to the apron, taking a few steps back, and charging, delivering a modified Penalty Kick to the draped leg! Rowan clutches her knee, hissing in pain as she rolls back towards the center of the ring!}
Terri Morasco: It looks like Cals has their target: eliminate the knee. Eliminate that, you take away Rowanās big moves, you take away her mobility. Smart strategy.
Vasco Dias: In theory. Itās the lifeline Cals has right now, though, and they need to hang onto it!
{Cals wearily scrambles back into the ring, chasing after Rowan, and grabs her leg, dropping an elbow into the crook of the knee and cranking hard on it! Rowan hisses, sitting up, and drills Cals with a brutal punch to the face, knocking them back and breaking the grip. Rowan shuffles up to her feet, shaking her leg out, and Cals is back up almost right away. Rowan grabs Calsā arm, stepping forward and under to drop them with an arm trap neckbreaker, the impact rattling the ring! Rowan shakes their head, walking to the corner, and undoes the second turnbuckle, tossing the pad aside to leave the bolt exposed.}
Terri Morasco: Oh no. This canāt be good. No no, Rowan, donāt!
Vasco Dias: You know that sounds like āRowan, please do itā to her ears, right Morasco?!
{Turning back to Cals, Rowan picks them up, slipping them onto her shoulder like a sack of bricks. Rowan steps forward, charging and looking to lawn dart Cals into the second turnbuckle! NO! Cals slips out the back, letting Rowan charge forward! She arrests her momentum, and Cals takes the moment to gather their wits! They step in, spinning for an attempt at the HARD PASS discus clothesline! NO! Rowan sidesteps, shoving Cals into the ropes chest-first, and when Cals turns around Rowan is leaping for the DANCE THE SPIRAL! NO! CALS SNATCHES ROWANāS FOOT OUT OF MIDAIR AND SECURES AN ANKLE LOCK! Rowan hisses and snarls, quickly moving to try to escape the hold!}
Terri Morasco: How many times have we seen Rowan MacDonnough hit the Dance the Spiral as a quick momentum shift, to cut off a comeback or enact one of her own?! It looks like Cals Jacobsen has been doing their homework!
Vasco Dias: When you hunger for a match like this, you watch every scrap of tape you can, you take every bit of information you can. This is no different, Terri! Look at that TORQUE! They might break Rowanās ankle!
{Cals wrenches on the hold with a mighty roar, and Rowan shakes her head when the referee asks if she wants to quit. Rowan gets her hands underneath her, and with a mighty buck of her entire frame that looks like the convulsions of a mighty serpent, rolls through, propelling Cals face-first into the exposed second turnbuckle! Cals looks out on their feet, and this time Rowan nails a low dropkick to bring Cals down to a knee. In the familiar position, the crowd gasps with worry, and Rowan backs up, measuring her shot for a half-second before lunging with the BALORāS GAZE! COUNTERED INTO THE SYSTEM SHOCK ROLL-UP BY JACOBSEN! ONE! TWO! THREE! NO! ROWAN KICKS OUT AT THE LAST SECOND!}
Terri Morasco: NEW CHAMPION! NO! ALMOST!
Vasco Dias: It took EVERYTHING from Cals to counter that attempted finishing move, and you can see it in their eyes! Look at the fatigue!
{Calsā gas tank does look to be lower than Rowanās, their glassy-eyed expression almost unreadable as they lay on the mat, chest heaving. Rowan pushes up to her feet, visibly angered, and drags Cals up to their feet by the hair, snarling in their face. Whatever Rowan says beneath the mask, Cals responds to it with a slightly-bloody glob of spit, right between the eyes. Rowan wipes the spit from her face, whatās visible of her expression reading both disgust and a certain grudging respect, before turning and throwing Cals over the top rope to the floor. Cals hits in a thudding heap, and Rowan drags them over to the Spanish announce table, bashing Calsā face off of the cover before beginning to strip it down!}
Terri Morasco: Oh...please no. Somebody needs to stop this.
Vasco Dias: We know that Veronaās security will make sure this match goes on exactly as intended. Donāt hold your breath, Terri.
{The monitors cleared, Rowan rolls Calsā carcass up onto the table, shaking her head, and delivers another savage clubbing blow to the chest. Rowan walks to the apron, climbing up...and then climbs the turnbuckle, eyes focused on Calsā form the entire time. The crowd gasps in fear, knowing what comes next, and Rowan seems to feed off of their dread, nodding with a savage laugh. She braces herself, getting the best footing possible, and leaps off for the LIFEāS FINALE! As she flies through the air, though, Cals shifts, seeming to deflect Rowan, and both competitors crash through the table in an ugly heap!}
Terri Morasco: OH SWEET JESUS! What the hell just happened there?! Rowan hit the Lifeās Finale double stomp, and that should be it, but she looks to have landed badly!
Vasco Dias: Watch it back, I think I saw something...YES!
{As the slow-motion replay shows the action back, it becomes clear what happened. As Rowan drew close, Cals reached up and batted her ankles away, causing what would have normally been a lethal double stomp to turn into an awkward crash by Rowan, through Cals, through the table. As the replay minimizes again, both are beginning to stir, dragging themselves up wearily.}
Vasco Dias: Cals managed to deflect the stomp, and Rowan didnāt have time to adjust. It still hurt Cals, but not as badly as if Rowan had connected flush, and it certainly hurt Rowan more too!
Terri Morasco: Those are impressive reflexes!
Vasco Dias: Definitely, but the match canāt finish out here. No disqualifications is NOT falls count anywhere! They need to get back in the ring!
{As if on cue, Rowan hobbles to her feet by the barricade, Cals doing the same against the English announce table. The two exchange a glance, and Cals quickly pushes off the table, managing to leap and slide into the ring with just enough speed to avoid being caught by the lunging champion. Rowan catches herself on the ring apron, rolling back into the ring, but as she forces herself to stand, Cals has her timed, whirling and dropping Rowan with the HARD PASS! The crowd erupts, and Cals drops into the cover!
ONE! KICKOUT! Rowan kicks out with authority, the color draining from Calsā face as the crowd gasps in surprise! Shaking their head, Cals clambers to their feet, pressing on and grabbing Rowanās legs, standing between them as the crowd roars in recognition. When they step through Rowanās leg, the roars get even louder, as the crowd recognizes whatās coming. Cals nods, crossing Rowanās legs, and steps over, leaning back into the SHARPSHOOTER!}
Terri Morasco: SHARPSHOOTER! CENTER OF THE RING! ROWAN HAS NOWHERE TO GO!
Vasco Dias: And after the abuse those legs have taken...Rowan isnāt a woman to submit, but there comes a point when the mortal frame can only take so much abuse!
{Cals wrenches on the hold, yanking on the taller championās legs and arching back harder and harder. Rowan roars in fury, shaking her head, and struggles towards the ropes, but Calsā leverage is impeccable, and she can only get a half-inch at a time. Cals wrenches again, contorting their own body back, and itās as they bow back hard that Rowanās opening comes. She reaches up and back with her arm, wincing, and with a sickening POP her arm seems to come out of its socket, reaching up and wrapping its fingers into Calsā open mouth to apply the EATER OF SOULS! Cals, on instinct, lets go of the Sharpshooter, clawing at their mouth, and Rowan forces her knees underneath her body, rising back up like a snake. Cals pushes up to their feet as well, thrashing against the extended arm of Rowan, and manages to get Rowan to release with a wild kick to the bad knee!}
Terri Morasco: Rowanās body moves in ways that are just...UNNATURAL! UGH!
Vasco Dias: Unnatural to be sure, but effective! She found a way out when most wrestlers wouldnāt have had a prayer!
{Rowan doesnāt even pause, rushing to a turnbuckle and leaping into the top buckle shoulder-first, another pop signaling her armās return to its natural place. Cals is still clutching their jaw, and when Rowan turns around itās with murderous intent. Hopping once, twice, Rowan rushes the ropes, leaping off for the DANCE THE SPIRAL! NO! Cals catches her, looking for a powerbomb, but Rowan punches free, hopping out the back. She looks to be going for an electric chair, but Cals slides around back, wrapping Rowan up with a German suplex! Cals rolls through, applying a full nelson on the way up, and drills Rowan with a dragon suplex, and on the third go-around, they wrap up Rowanās arms for a straitjacket, snapping her over to complete the SPECTRUM-PLEX! Cals canāt bridge, though, leaving both women in a heap!}
Terri Morasco: Cals keeps throwing bombs at Rowan, but nothing can put her down! Rowan keeps looking for that killshot, but nothing can connect!
Vasco Dias: Death of a thousand cuts versus the haymaker blow, only one can succeed here!
{Rowan is the first one up, but Cals is only a fraction of a second behind, the two meeting in the middle of the ring, pressing their foreheads to each other. Cals rears back and hauls off with a right hand, Rowan staggering back before lunging in with a forearm shot, and the two women begin to exchange blows viciously in the middle of the ring! Rowan goes for another headbutt to break the stalemate, but Cals manages to slip their head to the side, shooting a kneelift into Rowanās midsection! Rowan staggers back, and Cals turns to run to the ropes, but Rowan catches their waistband and DRAGS THEM BACK INTO A SPINNING BACK ELBOW TO THE BACK OF THE HEAD! Cals slumps to their knees, and Rowan drags their limp form back up, ducking down and struggling to lift Cals into the electric chair!}
Terri Morasco: If this connects, Calsā night is over! The Storm of the Morrigan is a guarantee, no matter who it hits!
Vasco Dias: I think weāre about to see the end! And look what Rowan sees!
{Indeed, Rowan sees the chair from earlier, hooking it with her heel and dragging it into the center of the ring. The stretch seems to tweak her knee, though, and she hops a few times, trying to keep her balance. Seemingly recovering, Rowan manages to reach up, fumbling for the head of Cals. What she receives instead is a closed fist to her wounded temple, then another, a wild barrage raining down. The strikes stagger Rowan, causing her to stumble again, and Cals manages to slide out the back, hooking Rowanās arms as they land AND TWISTING HER INTO THE FALL TO PIECES, STRAIGHT ONTO THE STEEL CHAIR! Cals rolls Rowan over, desperately hooking both legs as blood streams down both competitorsā faces! ONE! TWO! THREE! ROWAN KICKS OUT JUST AFTER THE COUNT!}
Terri Morasco: OH MY GOD!
Vasco Dias: WAS THAT THREE?!
{The answer comes a moment later, as the bell rings and āTears Donāt Fallā blasts the PA system, Cals rolling to the floor as the referee follows. Rowan is already sitting up, eyes wide with fury, as Alison Valance takes the microphone.}
Alison Valance: Here is your winner, and the NEEEEEEEEEEEEEW IWF Imperial Diamond Champion, Cals Jacobsen!
Terri Morasco: THEY DID IT! CALS DID IT!
Vasco Dias: HOW?! HOW DID THEY DO IT?!
Terri Morasco: Even if only for three seconds, they managed to keep the bloodthirstiest monster IWF has ever seen down, and thatās all it takes!
{Cals stumbles to their feet, the referee pressing the title into their midsection, and clutches it with one hand as the ref raises their other. Rowan is already pushing up onto her feet, eyes blazing hatefully, and Cals manages to laugh in disbelief, shaking their head before turning and stumbling up the ramp, Rowan rolling out of the ring and stalking after Cals.}
Terri Morasco: No rest for the weary tonight, as Cals Jacobsen canāt even pause long enough to celebrate before Rowanās back after them!
Vasco Dias: If Iām Cals, Iām making for the nearest car, even if itās not mine, and getting out of here!
{Rowan stalks up the ramp after Cals, and the two disappear into the back, Cals putting as much distance as they can between themselves and the now ex-champion. Rowan, though limping, still keeps up a frightening pace, advancing with a relentless fury as she vanishes from view.}

James Gilmore (c) vs Warren Kane
-------------------------------------
Terri Morasco: Welcome back to Danger Zone!
Vasco Dias: Next up is the menās main event of the evening!
Terri Morasco: This is a match up a lot of us have been waiting to see but maybe not exactly under these circumstances?
Vasco Dias: What the hell are you talking about Terri!? This is exactly how every James Gilmore match should be conducted!
Terri Morasco: With the odds stacked against him!?
Vasco Dias: Exactly! I canāt wait to see Roberto Veronaās hand picked lumber jacks tear that one eyed son of a gunās head off!
Terri Morasco: You need medical help.
{ We turn to the ring where Alison Valance is waiting to give the introductions. We see the lumber jacks, Caleb Lockwood, Ethan King, Gregor Winter and Dean Harper each on a side of the ring. }
Alison Valance: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and it is for the IWF MENS WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP! And it is a LUMBER JACK MATCH! Introducing, special guest commentator for the eveningā¦ ANGEL BLAKE!!!
{ The lights go out as Gateways begins to play. }
Vasco Dias: What an honor.
Terri Morasco: Heās not even here yet.
Vasco Dias: Itās an honor just being in his eventual presence.
{ As the strobing effect kicks in we see Angel Blake step out onto the ramp with the World Tag Team Championship sitting firmly upon his shoulder. }
Vasco Dias: Angel Blake is a man who just keeps revolutionizing this business.
Terri Morasco: I wonāt argue with his record but I wouldnāt say revolutionize.
Vasco Dias: Then you havenāt been paying attention.
{ The flames ignite behind Angel as he makes his way over to commentary taking a seat next to Vasco. }
Vasco Dias: Angel, mr. Blake, so nice of you to join us.
Angel Blake: My pleasureā¦
Terri Morasco: Angel, I have to ask before this match kicks off, are you out here to do commentary or are you out here to get involved with this match?
Vasco Dias: Terri! Angel is our guest. I am so sorry.
Angel Blake: It is fineā¦ I am here as insuranceā¦
{ We go back to Alison in the ring. }
Alison Valance: Introducing the challengerā¦ Weighing in at 205 pounds this evening, from London, Englandā¦ WARREN KANE!!!
{The lights go out and the snow steady beat of New Divide by Linkin Park plays and the crowd gives a good cheer for Warren Kane as he emerges from behind the curtains wearing a simple leather jacket, with his hands at his hips and a smile on his face. He then heads towards the ring, stopping to touch hands with members of the crowd before stopping in front of the ring. Closes his eyes, takes a breath before jumping up onto the apron, climbing the turnbuckle on the outside and raising his arms in the air getting a positive reaction from the crowd. The music dies down and the lights return to normal as he drops into the ring.}
Vasco Dias: Iām loving Warrenās chances here tonight to finally become the menās World Champion.
Terri Morasco: And what do you think, Angel?
Angel Blake: Warren will get what Warren deservesā¦
Terri Morasco: Thatās ominious.
Alison Valance: And introducing the championā¦ Weighing in at 205 pounds, from Corpus Cristi, Texasā¦ LITTLE BEAR! JAMES GILMORE!!!
{ An instrumental with hook version of "Shell Shocked" by Juicy J, featuring Wiz Khalifa and Ty Dolla $ign, begins to play, and a video package begins to play stock footage of waves crashing, followed by bolts of cloud-to-cloud lightning. }
"Knock, knock, you about to get shell shocked
Knock, knock, you about to get shell shocked
Knock, knock, you about to get shell shocked
Knock, knock, you about to get shell shocked..."
{ As jets of water shoot out from all directions, we tsee James Gilmore stepping out onto the stage, posing along to the hip-hop tune, before high-fiving the crowd and walking down to the ring. }
"(All for one when we fight together)
Knock, knock, you about to get shell shocked
(All for one when we ride together)
Knock, knock, you about to get shell shocked
(All for one when we fight together)
Knock, knock, you about to get shell shocked
(This family can bear any weather)
Knock, knock, you about to get shell shocked..."
{ Once inside the ring, the Islander alum points heavenward, taking in the moments as he waits for his opponent. }
Vasco Dias: Look at this smug sob.
Terri Morasco: How exactly is he smug?
Angel Blake: He is undeservingā¦
Vasco Dias: Exactly!
{ We go to the middle of the ring where Blue Shoes is explaining the rules. Blue Shoes shows the belt to Warren and then to James before handing it off to the time keeper. }
Vasco Dias: Here we go!
{ Blue Shoes calls for the bell and both men measure each other up. James and Warren circle each other. James gets a little too close to the edge of the ring and Caleb makes a swipe for his ankles, James turns and Warren is quick to strike with a running enzugiri! }
Angel Blake: A fools mistakeā¦
Terri Morasco: What is he expected to do, grow eyes in the back of his head!?
Vasco Dias: He damn well better!
{ Warren quickly takes James over with a gut wrench suplex. Warren pops up and looks out to Caleb who waves, Warren locks eyes with Dean as well before looking up to Angel. }
Terri Morasco: I donāt think Warren is too excited about how this match is laid out.
Vasco Dias: I think Warren shouldnāt look a gift horse in the mouth.
Terri Morasco: What do you think, Angel?
Angel Blake: Vasco is wiseā¦
{ Warren allows Gilmore to regain his footing. The two men lock it up in the middle of the ring and Warren quickly goes behind James. Warren looks for a rear waist lock takedown but Gilmore blocks it and instead brings Kane over with a snapmare and a sharp kick between the shoulder blades! }
Terri Morasco: James showing off a bit of his wrestling skills there.
Angel Blake: Pitifulā¦
{ James blows past Warren and hits the ropes looking for a sliding clothesline but Warren lays down and James skids across the mat. Warren spring right up to his feet and connects with a bicycle kick just as James stands and sends him into the ropes. James bounces off the ropes and right into a snap powerslam! }
Vasco Dias: Nice work by Warren there!
Terri Morasco: Itāll be interesting to see who takes the early advantage here.
Angel Blake: Intriguingā¦
{ Warren pulls James up into a rear chin lock but Gilmore pushes up onto his feet and hits a jawbreaker on Warren! Gilmore pops up and goes to the ropes but Dean is there this time and pulls his legs out from under him! Dean starts to drag James out of the ring! }
Vasco Dias: Here we go! Some real action!
{ Warren spots it and grabs James by the wrists and pulls him back into the ring. Dean backs up with sad puppy eyes. }
Angel Blake: He should not have done thatā¦
{ Warren pulls James back up but Gilmore hits a big upper cut and a standing dropkick! Warren falls back and rolls over himself. Warren gets up and James comes at him fast but Kane drops the shoulder and sends James onto the apron! Gilmore lands on his feet and grabs Warren with a double underhook and drags him out onto the apron as well! }
Vasco Dias: I love where this is going!
Terri Morasco: Theyāre headed into no manās land!
Angel Blake: Goodā¦
{ Warren and James begin to exchange blows on the aporn, the lumber jacks begin to move in. Warren spots it and tries to throw Gilmore back into the ring but James blocks him and instead picks Warren up for a Samoan Drop off the arpon and onto the floor! }
Vasco Dias: That idiot!
Angel Blake: Indeedā¦
{ Ethan, Caleb and Gregor all descend on James Gilmore with vicious foot stomps where as Dean makes his way over to Warren and helps him up. Warren pushes away and tries to get to James but Caleb steps in the way now. Gregor and Ethan pull James up and slam him hard into the crowd barrier. }
Terri Morasco: This is a mugging!
Angel Blake: As it should beā¦
Vasco Dias: Kill him!
{ Ethan and Gregor throw James back into the ring, Warren follows him in and reluctantly covers but itās only for a two count. }
Vasco Dias: James needs to learn when to quit!
Terri Morasco: He never will!
Angel Blake: His mistakeā¦
{ Warren pulls James up and throws him into the corner. Warren runs in with his fatherās signature Bloody Sunday Bloody kick! }
Terri Morasco: I bet that kick looks familiar, doesnāt it Angel!?
{ Warren pulls James out and spins him around for the Splosion suplex into the turnbuckles! Warren drags James out of the corner and to the middle of the ring for another cover attempt but again itās only a two count! }
Vasco Dias: What the hell is wrong with this worm!?
Terri Morasco: Heās got the heart of a champion!
Angel Blake: For nowā¦
{ Warren pulls James up off the mat and Gilmore hits a spinning heel kick! James then launches a barrage of palm strikes against Kane before capping off with Rob Diamondās favorite, A Fist Full of Democracy! Warren is staggers and James hurls his whole body at Kane with a spear!!! }
Terri Morasco: A big time spear!
{ James covers but Warren gets the shoulder up at two. James pulls Warren up to his feet and launches him into the ropes, Dean pulls the ropes down and Warren falls out of the ring but Harper secures him. James runs full on toward Warren and Dean and goes to launch himself with a suicide dive when Caleb comes from the side with a Drive By drop kick! }
Vasco Dias: Cut him off at the pass!
Angel Blake: Excellent manueverā¦
{ Caleb, Ethan and Gregor pull James out of the ring again and begin to viciously assault him. Warren pulls himself away and tries to get in the middle of it but Gregor takes exception and knocks him away. Dean takes exception to that and socks Winter. King decides why not and lays a shot into Caleb. Meanwhile James has escaped back into the ring. }
Terri Morasco: The lumber jacks are descending into chaos.
Angel Blake: Unacceptableā¦
Vasco Dias: I agree! Eyes on the ball!
{ Warren chases in after Gilmore but Gilmore catches Kane with a series of arm drag takedowns. After the fourths one Warren manages to fire off a knife edge chop to break the momentum and a nasty looking leaping knee strike! }
Vasco Dias: There we go Warren, show him whoās in charge!
{ James is staggered and Warren hits a short arm clothesline! Warren pulls James up and throws him hard into the corner. Warren runs in hitting a leaping back elbow before setting James up on the top rope. }
Vasco Dias: Warren is going big here.
Terri Morasco: I donāt know if this is the best idea.
Angel Blake: Hrmmmā¦
{ The lumber jacks have settled down on the outside. Warren climbs up and pulls James up, both men are on the top rope. James starts to fight back against Warren and grabs his tights. James is looking for something big here but Dean jumps up on the apron and clubs James in the back of the knee, Warren then lifts James up and hits a top rope SPIKE IMPALER!!! }
Angel Blake: Yes....
Terri Morasco: Jesusā¦
Vasco Dias: I hope Warren just broke Jamesā neck.
{ Warren goes for the cover on James now, Blue Shoes is in position and itās ONE! TWO! THR-KICK OUT! }
Vasco Dias: NO!
Terri Morasco: Gilmore survives!
{ Warren is shocked. }
Angel Blake: Focusā¦
{ Warren quickly goes to lock James into the Calf Killer. James tries to fight it off. Warren is so close to locking it in. Finally Warren has James in the Calf Killer. James claws his way to the ropes where Caleb is there to slap his hands away. Warren is wrenching hard but James makes one final push and manages to drag himself to the outside of the ring and break the hold. }
Vasco Dias: That is about the worst thing he could do!
Terri Morasco: Better than tapping out!
{ Again Caleb, Ethan and Gregor attack James. This time Warren just scoots back for a moment. Warren pushes himself up, determined to win this match fairly when Dean gets up on the apron. Warren turns for a moment and then runs toward the ropes, Warren sentons over the top to the outside and crashes down on all four men. Dean watches from his side of the ring. }
Vasco Dias: What did Warren just do!?
Terri Morasco: Warren just evened the odds!
Vasco Dias: But why!?
Terri Morasco: Because Warren wants to win, he doesnāt want to be handed this championship!
Angel Blake: That choice is not his to makeā¦
{ Warren pulls James out of the pile and throws him back into the ring. Warren comes in after James as Gilmore stands, Gilmore throws the full weight of his body into Warren with a headbutt that opens a nasty gash across both menās foreheads! }
Terri Morasco: Gilmore is creating some breathing room!
{ James grabs Warren for a belly to belly suplex before quickly going to the top rope and hitting a diving headbutt! }
Vasco Dias: Is James trying to give himself a concussion!?
Terri Morasco: Maybe!?
{ James pulls Warren up and throws him into the ropes, Warren comes back looking for a clothesline but James gets under it and grabs Warren with Shellshocker! James quickly covers but itās only a two count! }
Angel Blake: Come onā¦
Terri Morasco: Are you rooting for Warren?
Vasco Dias: Donāt question God!
{ James is looking fired up now as he heads to the apron, heās looking to deliver his patented Power Wave while most of the lumber jacks are down. }
Vasco Dias: Dammit Warren, get up!
Terri Morasco: This could be it!
{ James is pumped up, Warren is starting to stand, James lines up his shot and Dean upper cuts Gilmore right between the legs! Dean then hops onto the apron and spins James around for CLIPPED WINGS ON THE APRON! }
Terri Morasco: NO!
Angel Blake: Yesā¦
Vasco Dias: Amazing!
{ Dean pushes James body into the ring, Warren didnāt see what happened. Dean hops down and backs away as Warren turns to see James down on the mat. Warren doesnāt think twice as he sees his opening. James is trying to get up now as Warren comes in fast and hard with a KIDD KICK!!! }
Vasco Dias: KIDD KICK!!!
{ James goes down and Warren covers for the ONE! TWO! THREE!!!! }
Alison Valance: Your winner and NEW IWF MENS WORLD CHAMPION!!! WARREN KANE!!!
{ Warren is exhausted as he listens to the announcement. On the outside Angel has joined Dean by the time keepers table where the World title sits. }
Terri Morasco: What the hell are they doing?
Vasco Dias: I donāt knowā¦
{ Blue Shoes holds up Warrenās hand as his music plays then looks to see Angel and Dean entering the ring, Angel holding the Menās World Title. }
Terri Morasco: This could be bad.
Vasco Dias: Or amazing.
{ Warren is up now and sees Angel and Dean standing in the ring with the World title. Warren looks to Dean, Dean looks to Angel, slightly worried. }
Terri Morasco: What are they going to do!?
Vasco Dias: Put down another Kane, maybe!?
{ Warren readies himself for a fight but instead Angel steps forward and places the World title over the shoulder of Warren Kane. Warren looks confused as Angel takes a step back. Dean hesitates to smile as Warren is still unsure of what is going on. }
Terri Morasco: Didā¦ Did Angel crown him?
Vasco Dias: Iām not sure.
{ Angel bows his head slightly before backing out of the ring entirely leaving Warren alone with Dean. Dean mouths something to Warren that the cameras donāt pick up as Angel leaves the ringside area, making a pit stop to kick dust in the face of James Gilmore. }
Terri Morasco: Well thatās interesting.
Vasco Dias: Not exactly what I thought was going to happen either.
Terri Morasco: That being said we have a new World Champion! The legacy of Kane continues!
Vasco Dias: A huge night for Warren, hopefully he cherishes it.
{ Dean raises the hand of Warren now as his theme music plays! }
-------------------------------------
IWF WOMEN'S WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP
Abigail(c) vs Virginia vs Tara
-------------------------------------
{The lights in the arena start to flicker as the intro to āBitch Better Have My Moneyā hits the speakers. Smoke pours out onto the stage as Virginia Stepanov steps out. She walks to the head of the ramp, looking around for a moment before she shoots a high front kick into the air to show off and then makes a finger gun with three punctuated āshotsā towards the crowd ad the appropriate time in the song.
She struts down the ramp, mouth moving to sing along to her entrance as her head bobs along with the song. When she gets to the ring she jumps onto the apron, hanging onto the rope and leaning out towards the crowd, throwing a finger gun with another three shots before she steps through the ropes. She slips her coat off and hangs it in the corner.}
Vasco Dias: One of the two challengers makes their way out to the ring. This is Virginiaās third chance at this championship, and Iām going to go ahead and sayā¦ three strikes, and youāre out! Start her at the bottom!
Terri Morasco: Virginia has earned every single shot, and if weāre going to use baseball terms then I would say technically she still only has ONE strike. And ONE ball. Her last match with Abigail ended in a draw. Remember?
Vasco Dias: If you donāt win, you lose. Thatās the rule.
{The lights throughout the arena shut off, and fog begins to shoot out at the curtains while the instrumentals for āPrayer for the Afflictedā by Children of Bodom begins to blast through the speakers; half of the crowd begins to cheer as the signature blue spotlight encircles the arena before focusing on the ramp where a clearing has begun to show Tara crouched down in the middle of it. She has a sinister smile while her eyes linger on the ring.}
We hear a prayer for the brighter morrow,
Itās hard to take through all the laughter,
We donāt believe in tomorrow,
Itās just another morning after!
{She advances forward a bit by crawling, and then finally stands straight up as she reaches the ramp; the fog is beginning to dissipate, and the lights on queue with the melody, as she walks down the ramp. Fans along the front row begin bowing to her, and she turns to give them a small acknowledgement, but then resumes her eyes forward and not slowing her pace at all toward the ring.}
(I need you far away from me)
(I want you closer to me)
(I need you far away from me)
(I want you closer to me)
{Tara rolls under the bottom rope and into the ring, sitting up onto her knees; she allows herself to observe the crowd. There are still the pockets of fans that are bowing to her, while others cheer, and others are simply unsure on how to react; she keeps the sinister grin on her face as she walks to the nearest turnbuckle. While holding both of the ropes going into the corner, she crouches down and just lowers her head while waiting for the match to begin.}
Terri Morsaco: And hereās Tara, her fourth match back in IWF! She was victorious over Cals Jacobsen last month to become the number one contender--
Vasco Dias: Exactly, Terri! Tara IS the number one contender for Abigail, and she should not have to be out there having to face BOTH Virginia AND Abigail. It should be Abigail. Tara. Thatās it!
Terri Morasco: Why do you have it against Virginia?
Vasco Dias: I have nothing against herā¦ I just donāt think she deserves this match. It was handed to her. But whatever! This is the type of match where experience is what wins it for you! And Tara has more years than both of them combined!
{The lights in the dim at the opening twangs of the acoustic guitar. Some in the audience enhance the sound by clapping along to the music as Abigail walks alone out under a soft white spotlight to a mixed reaction. The lights flash sand yellow and soft orange in time with the rhythm. The lyrics of āOutlaws & Outsidersā by Cory Marks (ft. Travis Tritt, Ivan Moody & Mick Mars) accompany her walk down the ramp, the IWF Womenās World Championship, hanging from her right hand. The crowd give her a mixed reaction, and she clenches her jaw before pausing in the middle of the ramp, and looking heavenward. She flings her arms out either side of her offering herself up to a Lord she knew to be no longer there.
When there was no salvation, she cracks her neck slightly and continues her journey down the ramp under her own power. She walked up the steps, not to heaven, but into the ring. Ready to defend her position in life, as fiercely as she once defended her faith. Under the spotlight, in the middle of the ring, she drops to her knees and lets out a rebellious yell heavenward as she throws her head back and raises the title in both hands above her head. She breathes heavily, as she focuses on the challenge ahead. The music slowly fades and the lights return to normal.}
Terri Morasco: And the defending champion! She has gone out and defended this belt successfully since she won it back in July, and sheās not backing down now.
Vasco Dias: Yeah, yeah. Fighting champion. Got it. My favorite to win this one still is Tara!
{Blue Shoes stands in the middle of the ring and holds the IWF Womenās World Championship over his head momentarily, displaying the prize awaiting the winner of this competitionā¦ Abigail, the current champion, glances back and forth at her two challengers; Tara has her eyes locked on the champion, and Virginia also has her eyes locked on the champion. Blue Shoes hands the championship to the timekeeper, and calls for the bellā¦}
Terri Morasco: The main event is officially underway!
Vasco Dias: Itās already looking pretty awful for Abigail, because her two challengers havenāt looked away from her.
{Tara is closing the distance between herself and Abigail, who is in a defensive stance, when she is suddenly blindsided by Virginia! Virginia takes Tara down with a clothesline to the back of the head, then points at Abigail and gestures that the belt is going to be hers; Abigail charges forward and hits a running kick to Virginaās abdomen! Abigail immediately follows up with forearm smashes against Virginia until she is against the turnbuckle. Virginia tries to defend herself, but the shots are coming rapidly from the champion.}
Terri Morasco: Abigail is taking it to Virginia, after Virginia blindsided Tara!
Vasco Dias: Virginia has been battling Abigail several times to try and win this championship, so I donāt think sheās too happy that Tara is even in the matchā¦
Terri Morasco: But Tara is the one who won the number one contender spot, as a counterargument.
Vasco Dias: After two matches back?
{Tara is back up, and looks to see Abigail continuing an assault against Virginia who is defending herself; Tara charges from behind and lands on both of them with a stinger splash! Tara turns Abigail around, and whips her to the opposite turnbuckle before charging in with a second stinger splash! Tara charges back at Virginia to connect with a third stinger splash! Abigail is coming out from the other corner, holding her back in a little bit of painā¦}
Terri Morasco: Tara is starting to light it up, but Abigail isnāt backing down from anything.
Vasco Dias: One thing that we have to keep in mind is that Tara has more experience than both of them COMBINED! She has had her fair share of triple threats, fatal four ways, or any kind of multiple person match that meant she had to control the pace of several people at once. Sheās going to do that here.
{Virginia stumbles out of the corner, only for Tara to throw a kick at her; Virginia catches her foot, only for Tara to instinctively counter with an enzuigiri! Tara gets up to her feet and turns to Abigail, who has closed the gap, and gets her arms around Tara before sailing her over with a Northern Lights Suplex! Abigail keeps the bridge, and Blue Shoes counts: One! ā¦ Two! Virginia steps forward and kicks Abigail on the back, breaking up the cover.}
Terri Morasco: Abigail gets the nearfall, but Virginia is getting frustrated.
Vasco Dias: Abigail was looking to steal a quick one.
{Virginia grabs Abigail and forces her to stand before driving in with a hard uppercut that sends her back against the ropes! Tara is able to get up on her own, but is met with a roundhouse kick to her ribcage from Virginia, who then quickly goes back after Abigail and clinches with her beginning to drive knees into her stomach, chest, and head; Abigail reaches for Virginiaās legs to go for a double leg takedown, but Virginia turns it into a side headlock, before dragging Abigail over with a headlock takedown!}
Vasco Dias: Virginia is starting to get the number on Abigail, but this is not the place she wants to be in this type of match! Tara is still up, and ready to attack!
{Tara rebounds off of the ropes and aims a kick at Virginia! Virginia telegraphs it, and narrowly avoids it; Virginia springs to her feet, just as Tara turns to face her, and Virginia connects with a dropkick! Virginia makes the quick cover over Tara: One! ā¦ Two! Abigail now pulls Virginia away from the cover.}
Terri Morasco: Virginia, same as Abigail, looking to end this one early.
Vasco Dias: And Tara has been saved each time, allowing her to also conserve some energy.
{Abigail is the first to her feet, followed quite quickly by Virginia; Tara is lying down still. Abigail catches Virginia and draws her in with a short-arm clothesline, before leaning down to lift Tara up, but Tara rolls her up into a small package: One! ā¦ Two! ā¦ Abigail wriggles free just as Blue Shoes is counting to three!}
Vasco Dias: The old possum trick! One of Taraās most famous promos from the day was a play on the old Kenny Rogers song: know when to hold āem, know when to fold āem, and thatās what that is about!
Terri Morasco: Abigail didnāt seem to see it coming, and it almost cost her her belt!
{Tara is now the first one to her feet, followed by Virginia, and finally by Abigail. Virginia goes for a quick clothesline on the veteran, only for Tara to duck and catch Virginia with an inverted headlock backbreaker! Virginia rolls to the edge of the ring. Tara is back to her feet with an incoming forearm smash from Abigail, but Tara parries her arm away. Abigail fires with another forearm smash, just for it to be parried again. A third attempt, and Tara ducks under, catching Abigail into a sleeper hold before dropping her with a sleeper slam!}
Vasco Dias: And Tara is in full control of this match. As I mentioned before, she has more in-ring experience than both of these women combined, and she has had years of fighting these types of matches!
Terri Morasco: Tara is already up, and Virginia is trying to get up, but Tara is there to meet her!
{Tara, already to her feet, advances toward Virginia and begins to fire multiple roundhouse kicks to Virginiaās midsection; Tara attempts to Irish whip Virginia to the opposite ropes, but Virginia manages to reverseā¦ and she charges to the middle of the ring to anticipate Taraās return; however, Tara springs to the middle rope and completes a backflip over Virginia and catching her in a reverse front headlock! Tara drops her down with a reverse DDT, and instantly makes the cover: One! ā¦ Two! ā¦ Virginia is able to kick out, just as Abigail also dives in for the save, catching Taraās head with her elbow.}
Terri Morasco: And Abigail is back in there to defend her championship, while Virginia is showing that she doesnāt need saving.
Vasco Dias: As true as that all is, Abigail did get a good elbow in on Tara.
{Tara winces but gets up, covering her head and backing up against the ropes; Abigail is up, and charges her taking Tara over the top rope with a clothesline that sends her crashing outside of the ring! Abigail turns her attention back to Virginia, who is back up, and Virginia fires at Abigail with a superkick! Virginia goes down for the cover: One! ā¦ Two! ā¦ Abigail kicks out!}
Vasco Dias: Virginia caught Abigail with a superkick, after Abigail tossed Tara out of the ring. Abigail is lucky to have been able to kick out from that, because Virginia seemed like she was looking to take her head off.
Terri Morasco: Itās true, and Iām pretty sure it would have scored her the victory at this point.
{Abigail is lying in the middle of the ring in a bit of agony now, clutching her jaw, while Virginia gets back up; Tara has climbed back onto the apron, only for Virginia to charge at her! Tara drops from the apron forcing Virginia to swing and miss, and Virginia turns around now seeing that Abigail is still lying downā¦ she reaches for her, but Abigail draws Virginia into Living. Dead. Girl!}
Vasco Dias: Where did that come from?! Living Dead Girl, as Virginia calls it, and Virginia is in trouble!
Terri Morasco: But Tara now has an opening to get back into the ring!
{Tara slides back into the ring as Virginia is trying to get herself free; Blue Shoes is asking Virginia if she would like to give up, but Virginia shakes her headā¦}
Terri Morasco: Just a moment longer!
Vasco Dias: She just needs to hold on until Tara can make the save, because Abigail has it placed in brilliantlyā¦ there is no escapeā¦ I donāt care how experienced you are.
{Abigail pulls as tight as she can with the submission hold, but Tara is up and charges in dropping over Abigail with a knee drop forcing her to let go! Abigail is now clinching to her own head in pain as Tara may have landed right on top of her with that; Abigail rolls over onto her stomach still clutching her face, as Virginia is trying to regain her oxygen when Tara takes a step forward and connects with a Fallen Phoenix on Virginia!}
Vasco Dias: Fallen Phoenix! And Tara needs to make that cover while Abigail is still out of it!
Terri Morasco: And sheās going for it!
{Tara rolls Virginia up, pushing all of her weight down onto Virginiaās shoulders while rolling her up. Blue Shoes counts: One! ā¦ Two! ā¦ T-- Virginia is able to kick out of it!}
Vasco Dias: I donāt know how Virginia did it! But she kicked out! Abigail is still unresponsive!
Terri Morasco: Thatās the fight in Virginia! As has been indicated to her, Virginia has had two attempts at this belt from Abigail to no avail. She is not going to let this one go without a fight!
{Tara shakes her head but doesnāt waste time to get back up; this time, she grabs Virginiaās legs and lifts them as she seems to be going for a Sharpshooter! Virginia is struggling to fight herself away from the hold, and Abigail looks forward -- a slight cut on her forehead with blood seeping from the opening -- Abigail lunges forward, and rolls Tara into a schoolgirl cover: One! ā¦ Two! Tara rolls backward, and out of the ring. Virginia now springs forward and rolls Abigail up into a schoolgirl cover, but she doesnāt hold the cover; instead, she seems to be going for a single leg crab! Abigail holds on trying to keep herself from being flipped over, but Virginia releases, and lands a snap leg drop over Abigailās shoulder, and grabs her arm to go for a cross armbar!}
Vasco Dias: Virginia seems to be in control, but none of the three women have been able to hold it for too long.
Terri Morasco: But Virginia is looking to get that armbar in, and we know from her history that she will break an arm if she has to!
Vasco Dias: Unfortunately for her, I think Virginia could break Abigailās arm and Abigail still wouldnāt tap outā¦
Terri Morasco: Live to fight another day?
Vasco Dias: Not her style?
{Virginia is pulling on Abigailās arm pretty hard, but Abigail is doing everything she can to keep her arm at a reasonable angle; Virginia is unable to get it fully locked in and begins throwing a few arms to try and knock Abigail loose from being able to resist the hold, but Abigail isnāt letting go! Virginia, sitting up and throwing backhands at Abigailās open wound, trying to make it worse, but Abigail still does not concede.}
Terri Morasco: Tara is gonna wanna get into that ring, because what if Blue Shoes just calls it? Whether Abigail taps or not, he is responsible for the safety of the competitors.
Vasco Dias: Youāre right. Blue Shoes is keeping a close eye on this one.
{Virginia now begins hitting her with her forearm! The repeated shots are starting to wear Abigail down, but sheās still shaking her head refusing to give her arm up; Tara is back in the ring and sees that Abigail is in troubleā¦ Tara decides to sit and wait, allowing Abigail to burn up as much energy as she can fighting the hold, while Virginia seems oblivious to Taraās presence. Tara just leans against the corner in wait.}
Terri Morasco: Youāre not going to do anything? Really? What if she taps?!
Vasco Dias: Itās a calculated risk, butā¦ Tara wouldnāt just stand-by if she didnāt think that Abigail had the fight in her, I guess.
{Abigail shifts her body a bit, keeping her arm at a good angle while still refusing to let go, and finds the strength and determination to roll Virginia upā¦ Blue Shoes has no choice but to count since Virginiaās shoulders are down: One! ā¦ Two! Virginia rolls a shoulder off of the mat, but still is trying to keep the armbar in! Abigail now gets her feet planted on the ground, and musters even more strength to lift Virginia up and slam her down! Virginia still holds up, although more warily, and Abigail lifts her a second time and slams her down! This time Virginia releases!}
Vasco Dias: Abigail frees herself, but sheās not free from Taraā¦
Terri Morasco: And I think thatās what Tara was waiting on.
{Virginia is holding the back of her head, the part which hit the mat, as Tara now steps forth and fires with a Genocide Kick to Abigail! Tara falls down over Abigail and almost arrogantly covers her by laying with her back to her, and hooking the near leg.}
Vasco Dias: I think Tara knows that Abigailās tank is empty, and Virginia isnāt going to be able to recover in time to make the save.
Terri Morasco: That armbar did wear her down, she had to use everything to keep Virginia from locking it in, and yeahā¦ I do think we are looking at a new champion.
{Blue Shoes counts: One! ā¦ Two! ā¦ Th-- Abigail rolls Tara up into a crucifix cover: ONE! ā¦ TWO! ā¦ Th-- Tara manages to get free and rolls backward out of it.}
Terri Morasco: Abigail is still alive!
Vasco Dias: Be that as it may, what kind of condition is she in with that arm? Sure, Virginia didnāt get it locked in, but it still has to be hurting.
{Tara is to her knees, as Virginia is also getting up still holding her headā¦ Abigail is the last to her feet, clutching her arm in a bit of pain. Tara is to her feet and fires with a second Genocide Kick aimed at Abigail! Abigail is able to avoid it, but she is not able to avoid a more brutal Virginia just grabbing her by the head and tossing her over the top rope!}
Terri Morasco: Virginia wants Tara alone in the ring now!
Vasco Dias: Which is stupid. Youād think sheād want the champion, the one that has been worn down, not the fresher, veteran.
Terri Morasco: It could be about letting Tara know that sheās not afraid?
{Virginia turns to face Tara only to be met with a dropkick that sends her against the ropes! Virginia holds onto the ropes as Tara advances again, but Virginia lifts Tara for a shoulder back toss trying to send her to the outside of the ring! Tara lands on the apron and pulls Virginia back, as Virginia delivers an elbow in! Tara staggers, but holds the ropes stillā¦ Virginia goes for a second elbow, but Tara counters it! Outside of the ring, Abigail grabs Tara by the ankle but gets shoved off. Tara delivers an elbow forward to Virginia, before springing to the second rope, and flying backward with a moonsault connecting with a standing Abigail!}
Vasco Dias: Tara showing off some high flying ability!
Terri Morasco: If my memory serves me right, this was how she began her career, correct?
Vasco Dias: That is correct! Everyone was bigger than her, stronger than her, she needed to be faster and smarter!
{Virginia looks outside the ring and grabs the top ropes as if to indicate that sheās going to fly, too!}
Vasco Dias: What? This is not your expertise!
Terri Morasco: Is she?
{Virginia wags a finger, and shakes her headā¦ she instead steps out onto the apron before climbing down and trying to take advantage of her two downed opponents.}
Vasco Dias: Smart. Smart.
Terri Morasco: This crowd looked excited to see what she could have done with some flying.
Vasco Dias: Itās out of her element! Virginia is here to win a championship, not impress anyone!
{Tara is starting to climb to her feet, only to be met with the KMA from Virginia! Virginia follows her tradition following the KMA.}
Vasco Dias: Virginia taking the driver seat, and looks to be showboating with itā¦
Terri Morasco: Thereās a lot of damage she can do outside of the ring, but the only issue is that she must get them back into the ring to finish the match!
{Abigail is getting up, and Virginia jerks her to a standing position, before clinching with her and forcing her head down as she drives continuous knees wherever she can land them! Abigail manages to shove herself off, and blood is pouring from the wound that has gotten worse from the knee strikes before Virginia lands a crescent kick that sends Abigail tumbling over the commentating table of the Spanish announce table!}
Vasco Dias: Our colleagues there are in some trouble.
Terri Morasco: Not only them, but also Abigail.
{Virginia climbs over the table and grabs the champion by the head just ramming her head down against the table! Abigail bounces off of it and falls to the mat behind the table; Virginia looks to find Tara, who has been able to get back to her feet during that time and is on top of the apronā¦ Virginia seems like a deer caught in the headlights, as Tara leaps from the apron going for a diving crossbody!}
Vasco Dias: Virginia doesnāt know what to do! Sheās not too good against opponents using aerial attacks!
{Virginia stands her ground, still seeming lost, but catches Tara! Tara tries to wriggle free, but Virginia is showing off her strength!}
Vasco Dias: She caught her! Virginia caught Tara!
Terri Morasco: Thatās one way to handle the flyersā¦
{Virginia parades around momentarily before running at the steel post! Taraās back hits the post, and Virginia drops her downā¦ Tara is holding her back, scrunching her face as she tries to waive off the pain, but Virginia doesnāt allow the veteran time to rest. Virginia jerks Tara back up to her feet, and scoops Tara up and puts her on her shoulder! Virginia parades around again before charging at the post again aiming to have Taraās shoulder collide!}
Vasco Dias: Tara is in trouble, and Virginia is learning how to use the ring to her advantage!
{Tara slides off of Virginiaās shoulders, and shoves her toward the post! Virginiaās shoulder hits, and she clings to her shoulder momentarily as Tara rushes forward and grabs Virginia, now running her into the barricade; Tara continues advancing forward and begins to stomp Virginia several times before trying to spot the championā¦}
Vasco Dias: Virginia had the opportunity, but Tara does counter it.
Terri Morasco: And now sheās looking for the champion, Abigail, still over by the Spanish announce team.
{Tara spots Abigail. Tara kicks Virginia in the abdomen one more time as hard as she can muster before stumbling her way over to the announce table; Abigail is peering over, trying to pull herself together, as Tara starts ripping the table apart.}
Vasco Dias: Tara is planning something for Abigail!
Terri Morasco: I donāt like where this is going! Blue Shoes! You have to get control of this match!
{Blue Shoes is trying to call out for Tara to take the action back inside of the ring, but she ignores his order. Abigail almost gets back to her feet on her own strength, but Tara doesnāt allow it; Tara starts pummeling and kneeing Abigail repeatedly before laying her down on top of the announce table and begins raining down more forearm smashes to her head to keep her down! Tara gets one more good shot in before heading off to the apron of the ring and pulls herself using the rope, then up to the top ropeā¦}
Vasco Dias: Donāt do it! She is a veteran, she should know how much this doesnāt pay off!
Terri Morasco: It doesnāt matter! Maybe she missed the flight! Blue Shoes is begging her not to--
{Blue Shoes is seen trying to persuade Tara to reconsider.}
Vasco Dias: Talk some damn sense into her!
{It seems like Blue Shoes may have gotten through, and he backs awayā¦ just as he does, Tara completes a long moonsault from the top rope all the way to the table, and hits her mark! The table collapses under Abigail and Tara, and both of the women look drained.}
Vasco Dias: I canāt believe it! I canāt believe what weāve just seen! That was damn near twenty feet! And at least that of a drop, too!
Crowd: THIS IS AWESOME! {Rhythmic clapping.} THIS IS AWESOME! {Rhythmic clapping.} THIS IS AWESOME! {Rhythmic clapping.}
Terri Morasco: And this crowd is off their feet! Tara and Abigail are completely spent! Virginia doesnāt have a clue of what just happened!
{Blue Shoes cannot stay in the ring any longer, and gets out to check on both Abigail and Taraā¦ both of the women are laid out, as Virginia now gets up and sees the two broken women. Virginia goes over and picks up Abigail, dragging her toward the ringā¦}
Terri Morasco: Virginia is ready to cash in on this!
Vasco Dias: This match doesnāt end by count-out. It does not end by disqualification. It ends by pinfall or submission!
{Blue Shoes follows Virginia as the staff outside are still tending to Tara, and Virginia slides Abigail under the bottom rope. Virginia slides in and immediately into a cover and Blue Shoes makes the count: One! ā¦ Two! ā¦ The-- Abigail is able to get her foot on the ropes!}
Terri Morasco: How? I cannotā¦ I justā¦ HOW did Abigail even get her foot on the ropes?
Vasco Dias: A rookie mistake, really, you underestimate the will of your opponent and the will of a champion to muster that little bit extra to keep their belt intact. I firmly believe that if Tara and Virginia had swapped places there, Tara would have rolled Abigail further in to ensure the ropes were not a factor.
{Virginia is in absolute disbelief, as Abigail just continues lying down with her foot on the ropes. Outside of the ring, Tara is beginning to stir and shoving some of the staff back who are insisting on checking her to see if she should medically get back into the ring, but she keeps shoving them backā¦ Virginia stands up and calls for the end to this match! She leans down to slap Abigail a few times as if to stir her conscious, before getting the distance between them and anticipating the Final Rideā¦}
Vasco Dias: This is definitely it, if Abigail gets hit by that!
Terri Morasco: And Tara is still trying to get herself back to the ring.
{Abigail slowly gets up to her feet, facing away from Virginiaā¦ Virginia telegraphs it perfectly, and springs toward Abigail; just as Abigail turns around, Virginia is about to land Final Ride! Abigail rolls out of the way!}
Terri Morasco: Abigail dodges a large bullet there!
Vasco Dias: Unbelievably so!
{Tara stumbles forward and saves herself on the apron outside of the ringā¦ Inside of the ring, Abigail continues to dig deeper, forcing herself to stand up. Virginia had gotten tangled with the ropes after missing the Final Ride, but is also getting up. Virginia is up shortly after Abigail, who is challenging Virginia to come at her, despite also clutching her arm that was hurt earlier in the match.}
Vasco Dias: Andā¦ thatā¦ is not too smart.
Terri Morasco: There is simply no quit in her.
{Tara is now on the apron of the ring and stumbles to the ropes againā¦ Inside, Virginia advances toward Abigail, and Abigail stands ready to just play the counter game. Tara climbs to the top rope and gets her legs inside so sheās sitting on the steel post, when Virginia sees her and connects with a high side kick! Tara looks out of it. Abigail sneaks in as Tara had Virginia distracted, and goes for Blind Faith! She lands it, just as Tara is regaining consciousness, and Abigail, standing back to her feet, seemed to have forgotten where Tara wasā¦ Tara comes to and leaps from the second rope to catch Abigail with Heavenās Fury! Tara rolls Virginia over, and immediately makes the cover: One! ā¦ Two! ā¦ Three!}
Alison Valance: Your winner! By way of pin fall! AND NEW! IWF WOMENāS WORLD CHAMPION! TARA! FEEEENNNNIIIIXXXXXX!!!!!
Vasco Dias: Tara has done it! As I knew she would! She has returned to the wrestling world and put the entire division on notice that she is who she says she is! She is who people remember her to be! She is the past! She is the present! And she is the future!
Terri Morasco: Big Tara fan?
Vasco Dias: I just appreciate her longevity.
{Tara claws her way to her knees and holds her own arm up in the air while Blue Shoes goes to get the championship and hands it to Tara; Tara holds the belt over her head while āPrayer for the Afflictedā is playing over the PA system. Tara celebrates her win as the new champion as the show comes to a close.}
