Seth lowers his arm back down and continues pacing inside of the training ring, “Some of you are familiar with the big names that are walking into this competition. Dean Harper, a man who has done everything in such a short time, in such a short career! And he is looking to do the one thing that has eluded him… you see, he’s already a former World Champion. A former two-time World Champion! But he has never won the Roulette, so he’s after what has eluded him… and not only that, but should he walk out with the victory in the Roulette, he also has a chance to do what only his father has done… become a three-time World Champion! Wouldn’t that be some bragging rights for the Powers To Be?”
He shakes his head slightly, not wanting to allow them to get that… not out of vengeance, not for any particular reason; just because he knows that if Dean Harper gets that chance, his opportunity is not going to be there.
“So Dean Harper. James Gilmore! Another man that is a favorite to win the match because of what happened at Danger Zone… and you have to believe that he’s going to be gunning for Dean Harper after what occurred, but at the same time, he has proven himself formidable. He has proven himself focused. He has his eyes on the prize, and I’m certain he would love nothing more than to walk out as the number one contender to regain the championship that some people may argue was stolen from him! JC Keeton… a youngin’, the son of Jake Keeton! Jake Keeton, a man that I stepped into the ring with in the early days of IWF… but, like me, that World Championship eluded him for his entire run in the IWF!
There is no doubt that JC Keeton is going to want to do what his old man was unable to do. Win the Roulette. Become the World Champion. That would just be the icing on the cake for his young, and bright future… less than a year in the IWF, less than six months into his return to the IWF, becoming the World Champion! Fail at winning the TV Championship. But go after the biggest prize that the company has to offer.
I mentioned earlier that there are the high cards that are going to be entering this match, and those high cards I feel include people like Dean Harper. People like James Gilmore. People like JC Keeton. And even people like Ulf Hednir!
Then there are the wild cards… the people who are new or returning, people like The King of Clubs. People like Xavier Zion. People like Kelvin Rivers, Tytus Rost, or even Locke… looking to bounce back after recent losses, and make sure that they do get that bright future that they sought when they first signed their name to the contract! Again, these are the people that people are not betting on… but these are the people that are really going to be the deciding factor, because they are desperate! They are desperate to get all eyes on them. They are desperate to win the Roulette. They are desperate to take the World Championship.
This could be their best opportunity… or even their only opportunity… to get to the belt this early, and so that’s why they are going to dig deeper than people thought possible. They are going to do the impossible. They are going to -- be like me -- they are going to hit whoever is in front of them without hesitation! Because it’s not just about walking out with a victory… it’s about proving to the world that we can stand with the best of the best, and that they should never count us out!
So let me say this: do not count me out! Do not think that I am done with going after the IWF World Championship. Do not think that the Roulette is set by a select few! This is a match that nobody can truly prepare themselves for, because there are so many variables that can bring an end to someone’s momentum… do not count anybody out.
I know I’m not. I know my goal. I know my agenda. I know my ability. And I trust in all of it!
Now to all of you… that’s what you need to get into the ring. You need to trust in your abilities! You need to be confident! You need to go out to that ring each and every week and know that you can stand among the best, you can beat the best. Roulette… I will show all of you that I can do just that. High Stakes… Roulette… if you’re a gambler: place your bets on me! And I will not let you down!”
