Main show: ------------------------------------- SINGLES MATCH Seth Evans vs Wraith -------------------------------------
{All of the lights flicker out throughout the arena and turquoise tinted lights quickly replace while the opening guitar riff of “Blow Me Away” begins to play through the speakers. A roar of cheers rings from the majority of the fans in the arena and from the way that the camera does see them, it doesn’t appear that one single person is sitting in their seat; Seth emerges from behind the curtains dressed in his loose leather pants with the Halo symbol on his left leg. He lifts his hand above his eyes to block the blinding light from him to take a moment to look at the entire crowd, and smiles and nods his head in approval for the reception that he receives. Not moving from his spot at the top of the ramp, he brings his hands to his chest and jumps up and down a few times as if to get the blood flowing before finally landing, and hunching for a moment before breaking into a sprint; while sprinting down the ramp he slaps hands with many of the fans on one side of the front row but as he reaches the end of the ramp, he centers himself before taking a long jump and landing one foot on the apron, showing off his athleticism, and his hands reach forward to grip the rope and steady himself on the apron. Both of his hands grip the rope tightly before shaking the rope to fire himself up and quickly stepping between the top and middle rope, and breaking again into a sprint to one of the turnbuckles. While standing in there basking in the praise, he extends his arms out for several seconds and finally brings his hand in to pound his chest twice, and finally steps down from the turnbuckle to wait for the match to begin. }
Vasco Dias: I would like to extend my condolences to the Evans’ family for their loss. For those of you sitting at home, Seth’s reason for stepping away and giving up Game On! to Bob Pooler for the time being was because of the death of his grandmother. This is his first match back. Terri Morasco: I couldn’t have said it better myself. Our deepest condolences are extended to Seth Evans and his family. Vasco Dias: The problem, though, is that despite that loss… we can’t expect Wraith to simply take a dive. This is his first Night of the Immortals.
{The lights throughout the arena go out row, by row, by row, until the arena is shrouded in absolute darkness. The lights come on and Wraith is standing in the center of the ring — in unison, the crowd let out a heavy gasp. He tilts his head back and forth, eyeing the crowd, while waiting for the match to begin. }
Terri Morasco: Wraith is in the ring, but Seth doesn’t see him. Seth doesn’t know it. Vasco Dias: I thought Seth would have done his homework, since he asked for this match… but I guess he does have good reasoning, but come on, Seth, turn around!
{Seth is still watching the curtains for the arrival of Wraith, but the sudden sound of the bell called by Jessica Andrews gives it away; Wraith goes for a forearm to the back, but Seth fires back with an elbow just in the nick of time! The veteran turns toward the rookie and begins to fire with a few lefts and rights whilst battling him to the ropes and then drives in some knife edge chops that receives the proper recognition from the crowd! }
Vasco Dias: I think this is the most offense I’ve seen against Wraith since he came into the IWF. Terri Morasco: It’s at least the first time we’ve seen someone gain the edge over him in the early-going.
Vasco Dias: Seth sends Wraith off the ropes after a succession of chops, and as Wraith comes back--
{Seth takes Wraith over with an arm drag! }
Vasco Dias: The arm drag! But he’s not done here, he’s looking to follow it up by going into a submission. Perhaps an armbar? But Wraith is getting up. And he is up!
{Wraith stands up, but Seth doesn’t release his arm; Wraith connects with a straight jab, but it’s not enough to get Seth to break the wrench. Wraith reverses it into a Japanese Armdrag, and immediately goes to lock Seth into a fujiwara armbar-- }
Vasco Dias: That was a solid counter from Wraith, but Seth is fighting for his arm, and he-- yes, he rolls him up!
{--Seth prevents Wraith from being able to lock it in and follow it into transition by sweeping Wraith’s legs out from under him, and rolling him up into a schoolboy cover: One! Two! Wraith kicks out! }
Terri Morasco: Seth Evans, crafty as a veteran, he knows the counters… and so far he seems to have an answer for Wraith. Vasco Dias: But Wraith is the first one to his feet, and he fires with a shining wizard! But Seth ducks!
{Seth Evans, after avoiding the shining wizard, reaches his feet; Wraith is across from him and back to his feet as well - Seth taunts him by gesturing for him to take the first attack, and Wraith takes the bait! He goes forward and goes for a Genocide Kick, but Seth dodges to the side; Seth fires for a spinning kick, but Wraith ducks under, and Wraith continues his momentum by going for a leg sweep, but Seth jumps over; he awaits Wraith to get back to his feet and goes for a standing clothesline, but Wraith ducks under and catches Seth to go for a back body drop! Seth flips backward and lands on his feet behind Wraith. Wraith faces him again and now Seth goes forward to attempt the side effect! }
Vasco Dias: This doesn’t look good for Wraith, but he’s fighting back! A couple elbows, and he’s free! Terri Morasco: These two are calculating each other well. The back and forth action, and this crowd is enjoying the show so far. Keep in mind, this is the first match of Night of the Immortals and we have a whole lot of action ahead for you! Vasco Dias: Wraith is trying again for the advantage, and he does! He takes Seth down with a scissor leg sweep, but he’s springing forward; he’s going for the side headlock, but Seth is able to avoid it, and now both men are back up to their feet. Terri Morasco: How do you imagine these guys know each other so well?
Vasco Dias: I couldn’t fathom a guess. We have no real information on Wraith. Seth has proven himself in the past as being adaptable.
{Seth shakes out the damage from Wraith’s elbows as the two stand square in the center; Seth smiles and gestures for Wraith to take the first attack, but Wraith declines… Wraith invites Seth to take the first strike, and Seth decides to accept the invitation. }
Vasco Dias: Wraith took the bait last time, and he’s not going to do it again. Terri Morasco: It is important for our people to know how to strike first, as well as counter, re-counter, and everything, and there goes Seth with-- what?! Seth fires with the Genocide Kick, the BULLTRUE as he calls it!
{Seth had lunged forward hoping to catch Wraith off-guard with the Bulltrue, but Wraith catches his ankle and tries to drag him down for an ankle lock -- Mirror Image -- but Seth rolls forward in the typical ankle lock reversal, but rather than letting Wraith stumble away, Seth trips him up and attempts to get him into an ankle lock of his own with the grapevine! }
Vasco Dias: Seth is trying to drag Wraith away from the ropes, but because of that momentum he is a bit too close, and I think Wraith sees it! Wraith knows it! Terri Morasco: There’s the rope break, and Seth does not hesitate in letting go. Wraith does appear to be getting frustrated that he can’t get the edge over Seth.
{Both men stand and face each other, as Seth gives a quick shrug of his shoulders. }
Seth Evans: I can do this all day, kid.
{Wraith charges forward and clinches with Evans, who quickly gains the edge; he shoves Wraith back into the corner and delivers an overhand chop to his chest before retreating to the middle of the ring… Wraith angrier over the brief tussle. }
Vasco Dias: I don’t think playing with him is going to be too smart.
{Wraith charges from the corner for a clothesline, but Seth ducks and quickly rolls Wraith into another schoolboy! Wraith kicks out at the count of two! Wraith rolls quickly to his feet and manages to beat Evans to his feet, and delivers a quick knee to his head that finally seems to catch Evans off-guard! Seth covers his head as Wraith rips him up the rest of the way and starts driving in his own chops, and strikes in a frenzy; Seth tries to defend himself, but now Wraith grabs his arm and takes him over with another armdrag, this time getting him into the fujiwara armbar! }
Vasco Dias: You played with him too much, and now I don’t know if he’s really seeing what he’s doing or he’s just firing blindly, but it’s working! And he’s transitioning; Seth is fighting to keep his arm, but nope! Wraith has it!
Terri Morasco: It’s like Wraith is just possessed now with trying to prove something.
{A successful transition from the fujiwara armbar to the cross armbar, and Jessica is asking Seth if he would like to tap out, but Seth is shaking his head… }
Vasco Dias: It looks as if Wraith is trying to transition again! He’s looking to move his legs for another submission, and he is maintaining a lock on that arm, we could be seeing-- we could be seeing the submission hold made famous by Angel, the figure four armlock!
Terri Morasco: Seth is fighting it. Can he break free?
{Before Wraith is able to get the hold locked in, Seth begins driving hard elbows to try to battle his way free! He succeeds! Seth shakes his arm a few times to work out the cranks, while trying to get up; Wraith is the first to his feet again, though, and immediately pulls his arm back to get him into a hammerlock; Seth fires back with an elbow, but Wraith ducks, and sails Seth over with a Northern Lights Suplex! He keeps the bridge for the cover: One! Two! Seth is able to kick out! }
Terri Morasco: Seth is just looking for a counter to shift the momentum back in his favor. Ever since Wraith took control of this match, he has not relinquished it. Vasco Dias: More importantly, he seems to have a lot of focus… he is focusing on that arm, trying to wear it down, so maybe he can go for another figure four armlock.
{Wraith beats Seth to his feet yet again, and forces him up, but Seth now fires with a few shots; Wraith doesn’t seem phased by the attacks before delivering an uppercut! The uppercut staggers Seth, and Wraith retrieves his arm again and then drops down with a double knee armbreaker! }
Vasco Dias: That calculation. We see that only out of the best… up until now, Wraith has just been so dominant, so quick, that we have not seen his true ability, but here he is putting it on display! Terri Morasco: Seth is clinging to his arm, and you have to imagine that if Wraith is able to wear it down that does take out a good amount of Seth’s arsenal. Vasco Dias: It makes it hard for him to use the Extermination. It’s going to be hard for him to put those submission holds into full effect, so ankle lock? Dragon Sleeper? Headcase? Count those out. Seth does have a wide arsenal, and it won’t be impossible for him to come back from this, but it’s just not going to be easy.
{During the commentator’s discussion, Seth had rolled to his feet while clutching his arm and backed himself into the corner; Wraith charges in with a clothesline but Seth stays on his feet whilst Wraith now takes the focus back to that hurt arm; he wraps it around the ropes and begins to use it as leverage to wear it down further! }
Vasco Dias: Wraith is doing what he has to do, and he knows what’s allowed. Jessica Andrews is ordering him to stop, and-- he does, at the allotted five count. Terri Morasco: You can hear Seth in pain, but Wraith is playing it smart.
{Wraith wrenches that same arm over the rope! Jessica repeats the count, but Wraith lets go again just in time. Wraith now sets Seth Evans up perfectly, and sails him over with a vertical suplex! Upon completion, Wraith rolls onto his stomach and grabs Seth’s arm forcing it straight as he jumps up and brings both knees crashing down onto his arm! Seth tries to draw his arm in, but Wraith holds it straight again, then uses his foot to pin his hand down, before stomping hard onto his arm. }
Vasco Dias: He’s just zoning in on it. Like a shark that smells blood. Terri Morasco: There’s still no quit in Seth. He’s getting to his feet but still clutching that arm.
{Wraith shakes his head at Seth as if to tell him that it’s over… then advances forward. }
Vasco Dias: Wraith looks like he just wants to end this, and we could be-- NO! What?! Terri Morasco: Seth countered! He has Wraith on his shoulders!
{Seth has one arm stabilizing Wraith on his shoulders, and struggles to get his other arm free and up from how much damage he has taken with it; Wraith is kicking his legs to try and get free, squirming every which direction, but Seth is calling for it! Seth is calling for the Extermination! }
Terri Morasco: This crowd is out of their seats, as Seth, despite the pain he must be feeling, has Wraith up and he wants to end this! Vasco Dias: But Wraith is now firing elbows! Seth isn’t relinquishing, though!
{After several attempts, Wraith is finally able to kick himself free from Seth’s shoulders, and Seth turns toward him just to be met with a Genocide Kick! Wraith rolls over him to make the cover: One! Two! 2.7! Seth kicks out! }
Vasco Dias: Seth does not want to accept this defeat, but Wraith has had his number!
{Seth musters all of his strength to get to his feet and backs into the corner and stays near the ropes. }
Terri Morasco: I think Seth is playing it smart here. He knows Wraith is going to have to drag him to the middle of the ring to beat him, otherwise Seth has those ropes as a save. But Seth is… Seth is mouthing off to Wraith.
{While still clutching his arm, Seth draws a deep breath. }
Seth Evans: I know you. First--
{Before Seth can finish what he’s saying, Wraith fires with a second Genocide Kick that hits its mark! Seth slouches into the corner, still saved by the ropes, but Wraith isn’t done; he grabs Seth’s arm and takes him over with a Japanese Armdrag before transitioning into a standing Figure Four Armlock! Seth is crying out in pain, but is shaking his head… he doesn’t want to tap. He doesn’t want to lose. }
Vasco Dias: Damn it, Seth, just tap! He’s going to break your arm if you don’t tap! Terri Morasco: He’s trying to get to the ropes, but Wraith… a veteran move, mind you, he is using his own body to separate Seth from the ropes. But Seth is kicking. Maybe he can get a foot to it. Vasco Dias: This figure four armlock, the Absolution, is fully capable of breaking his arm rather quickly. I think Wraith is trying to show mercy! He’s trying to give Seth a chance to just tap out!
{Seth is staring up at Wraith, grimacing as he tries to get his arm free… Jessica Andrews is asking Seth Evans if he would like to tap, and pleading with him to do it, but Seth is still shaking his head; his eyes meet with Wraith’s, and there’s a sense of humanity there as Wraith is just nodding his head at Seth as if to encourage him to tap. A little more pressure. Seth grimaces again, but taps out! }
Alison Valance: Your winner! By way of submission! WRAITH!!!!!
Vasco Dias: What a match, and-- what? What’s going on? Terri Morasco: Seth Evans has recently lost his grandmother, and he wanted to honor her with this victory, but Wraith… he just proved to be too much. And now Seth looks broken in the ring.
{Seth is sitting on his knees just staring down. He’s clutching his arm, and shaking his head… but Wraith doesn’t leave, and not even his music is playing. }
Terri Morasco: Please don’t.
{Wraith stands in front of Seth Evans for a few seconds before kneeling down in front of him before lunging forward and giving Seth a hug. Seth returns the gesture. }
Terri Morasco: There is a human in there. Vasco Dias: Seth held on for as long as he could, but Wraith didn’t want to break his arm… he just wanted him to tap out. He just wanted this match to end.
{The two hug for a moment longer before the lights go out, and as they come back on, Wraith is gone. Seth Evans has tears filling his eyes as he points to the sky. Jessica Andrews holds the ropes open for Seth as he leaves and the crowd still cheers for him despite the loss. }

BAR ROOM BRAWL MATCH Abraxes vs Locke -------------------------------------
{Abraxes wandered into the sight where the war would take place… the saloon was eerily quiet, and seemed vacant. Until the camera panned around to show Locke standing at the pool table with a cue stick in his hand; a smile crept to his face as he looked upon the monster, his opponent, for the evening. Jessica Andrews stood on the opposite end of the pool table with a look as if she knew she drew the short straw to be forced to be here to call the match. }
Jessica Andrews: What’s the point? It goes until one of them can’t get up, and-- and, well, I think that’s pretty obvious, you know, when they--
Locke: Will you shut your trap?! You’re killin’ the vibe.
{Silence ensues. Locke nods his head with satisfaction, and Jessica calls for the match to begin! }
Vasco Dias: Well this is coming to you live from Locke’s saloon, where the team of Gods & Monsters are fighting each other! Terri Morasco: I feel sorry for poor Jessica Andrews. She’s been locked inside of that saloon with these two just to let us know when the match is called!
{Abraxes wastes no time charging at Locke, but just as the two are about to collide… the lights flicker, and as they come back up, Locke is behind Abraxes and cracks the cue stick across his back! Abraxes jolts up, but seems rather unphased and turns toward Locke. Locke lunges forward with the cue stick and begins to use it to choke the monster who reaches his hands between his neck and the stick trying to keep Locke from applying too much pressure. }
Locke: You STUPID! SON OF A BITCH! You jus’ couldn’t hold your own, could ya? You just HAD TO cost us TWICE against those bastards, didn’t’chya?!
{The choke is held for several long seconds until Abraxes suddenly grips the stick and pulls it closer, almost cutting off his oxygen further, but he lunges up with a headbutt that causes Locke to break up the choke! Locke stumbles back a few steps and Abraxes explodes toward him to connect with a clothesline that turns him inside out! Abraxes grabs Locke by the hair, and drags him up, now ramming his back into the edge of the pool table! Locke arches his back and groans from the encounter, but he instinctively reaches onto the table searching for something to use. Meanwhile, Abraxes closes the distance and begins choking Locke with one hand while raining overhand punches on him with the other. }
Terri Morasco: With the amount of force, I’m surprised that Abraxes didn’t break his back. Vasco Dias: Well, that is a God we are looking at! I think he is fully capable of withstanding some punishment from the monster. But I don’t think Abraxes should tread lightly, in fact-- EIGHT BALL!
{Locke had taken the eight ball in hand, and hit Abraxes over the side of the head with it! Abraxes staggers to the side, and Locke grips the eight ball and charges toward Abraxes, reaching his hand back and bringing it forward to strike him again! Abraxes appears hurt from the second strike, but Locke starts raining down shots and each shot getting notably weaker and weaker, until Abraxes seems fully unphased. }
Vasco Dias: It seems that the more Locke hits him with that eight ball, the stronger Abraxes gets. And now he catches his hand! Abraxes is twisting Locke’s arm, and I think he’s going to break his wrist--
{Abraxes almost rips Locke’s arm off whilst pulling him toward him, and then takes him up and down with a powerslam! Jessica goes to see if Locke is going to stay down, but Locke, arching his back, is already moving to get to his feet; he is leaning over using his hand to keep himself stable while wobbling to his feet but before he can stand up, Abraxes connects with a knee and Locke tumbles over and holds his head in agony. The eight ball is heard rolling under the table. }
Terri Morasco: I think Abraxes may have dislocated Locke’s jaw with that knee! Vasco Dias: That is a rather safe bet. Jessica Andrews is trying to see if Locke is going to stay down, but Abraxes doesn’t give him the chance. Abraxes is almost ripping his arm off to drag him to his feet and a ferocious Irish-whip into the bar! And Locke is flying over it!
{The sound of glass breaking on the other side is heard, caused by Locke tumbling over it. Abraxes walks toward the bar; Locke is getting up and leaning over the bar from the other side as Abraxes gets closer, and Locke pulls a bottle out from under the bar smashing it over Abraxes’s head! The attack stuns Abraxes long enough for Locke to get back up, and he continuously reaches for bottles and continuously smashes them over Abraxes’s head. }
Terri Morasco: He’s going to go bankrupt breaking all those bottles!
{Locke is about to smash another one, but then stops to look at it… }
Locke: Whoa, whoa! Not the Wild Turkey!
{Locke sets it down carefully, and grabs a different one to smash over Abraxes head, then when there’s no more within reach, he just smashes Abraxes’s head onto the bar until he retrieves a whiskey glass. }
Locke: Top you off?
{Locke opens the Wild Turkey and fills it to the rim, and takes a drink; Abraxes lunges forward to choke Locke but Locke spits the whiskey into Abraxes’s eyes! }
Terri Morasco: That’s going to burn! Vasco Dias: But he didn’t want to waste that one!
{Abraxes releases the choke and rubs his eyes for a moment. Locke reaches forward to continue the assault on Abraxes, but Abraxes grabs the bottle of Wild Turkey from the bar and smashes it over Locke’s head! Locke drops to his knees on the other side of the bar. The glass has busted him open, but he watches the whiskey dripping from the broken bottle and shudders. }
Locke: You SICK! ASSHOLE! MOTHER! FU--
{Before Locke can finish the next word, Abraxes smashes Locke’s hand into the broken shards of glass. It causes him to groan out, but Abraxes now holding his wrist drags him back to a standing position and is dragging him back over the bar and to his feet where he then connects with a spinebuster onto the floor! }
Vasco Dias: I think Locke would be smart now to just stay down. Jessica Andrews is going over to check on him, seeing if he can even get up. Terri Morasco: Locke is bleeding from his head and from his hand, but… well, Jessica has his answer as to whether he’d like to throw in the towel.
{A bloodied middle finger is raised up from Locke. Abraxes grabs Locke by the head and forces him back to a standing position, driving in with a powerful overhand chop! Abraxes holds Locke still for a second, but before he can connect, Locke gets the cowpoke! Abraxes holds his eye for a moment, and Locke suddenly kicks Abraxes in the gut causing him to keel over. Locke musters enough strength to lift Abraxes up and bring him down with a gutbuster; Abraxes rolls through, although holding his stomach, still gets up and seems rather unphased. }
Vasco Dias: What’s it going to take for Locke to hurt him? Terri Morasco: What’s it going to take to keep Locke from getting back up?
{Locke picks up the cue stick as he gets up, and with a large swing, breaks it over Abraxes! Abraxes is still standing up; Locke gets a little distance from Abraxes and awaits him to stand before charging and diving for a crossbody! Abraxes catches him and tosses Locke back with a fallaway slam, Locke landing on the pool table! }
Vasco Dias: Abraxes is just too powerful. Locke is trying to do everything he can to fight that monster, but nothing is sticking.
{In a swift motion, Abraxes takes up the broken cue stick… Locke tries to move off of the table, but Abraxes grabs him by the neck and holds him down. The partners are face to face, and Abraxes takes the broken end of the cue stick starting to push it towards Locke’s eye. }
Terri Morasco: Oh, I don’t know if I can watch this! Vasco Dias: Abraxes is going to blind him!
{The splintered end is inching closer and closer to Locke’s eye, and Locke turns his head instinctively but is secured down by the sheer force of Abraxes. It almost gets his eye, and Locke shoves his thumbs into both of Abraxes’s eyes! This causes Abraxes to drop the cue stick, and pull himself away; Locke uses the moment to get himself off the table… Abraxes, still staggering, gets speared by Locke as they both crash through one of the tables! Locke gets back up and demands that Jessica call the match. }
Locke: He’s not gettin’ up! Call it!
{Jessica walks over to Abraxes to check on him. }
Vasco Dias: Locke seems certain he vanquished the monster.
{Abraxes sits up, and Jessica jumps back and retreats to safety… Locke slowly turns toward Abraxes, blood dripping down his face and off his chin, and from his fingertips, while shaking his head. Abraxes looks at Locke and chatters his teeth together; Locke rushes forward at the same time as Abraxes gets up, and the fists are flying! }
Vasco Dias: This thing has boiled down to… well, to a classic bar room brawl! I don’t know how Locke is able to withstand those punches from Abraxes! Terri Morasco: Maybe that’s what ultimately brought them together as a team, because they were similar in that aspect. Locke has been holding on with some cheap shots-- Vasco Dias: What else do you expect him to do? Abraxes is the power. But right now, he is going back and forth, but Abraxes is gaining ground over him; Locke needs to step forward with his punches-- and he catches one! He goes for the reversal! A headbutt from Abraxes stops that, and now Locke stumbles back. Back. Abraxes charges and--
{Abraxes spears Locke into the door to the bathroom! Both of them land on the floor. Abraxes lands on top of Locke and pulls his head up to connect with a hard punch. He repeats the process a few times before finally standing up and pulling Locke with him; he lifts him up a bit and drops Locke over the sink! }
Terri Morasco: Abraxes just cracked that sink by using Locke! Vasco Dias: And he still doesn’t look like he’s letting up.
{Locke is still pushing himself up to his knees when Abraxes grabs him again and tosses him toward the stall; the door comes off its hinges from the impact and now Abraxes shoves Locke forward so his head collides with the wall… Locke sits on the toilet just to get a breather, and Abraxes charges in for a running big boot to Locke’s jaw! }
Vasco Dias: I don’t think Locke has anything left. Terri Morasco: Jessica Andrews is coming in to see if he is able to get up.
{Abraxes chatters his teeth whilst waiting for Jessica Andrews to make the call, but Locke… exhausted… and hurt… raises another middle finger to Abraxes. The finger enrages Abraxes, and he charges forward to just pummel Locke! The punches rain down on Locke with him seemingly having no escape-- until a sudden tap comes to his shoulder… }
Vasco Dias: Now is not the time for customers! I thought Locke closed shop? Terri Morasco: That’s-- what the? It’s Locke!
{Abraxes looks confused for a moment, but the doppelganger hits a vicious haymaker! Abraxes stumbles back and now the original Locke and doppelganger Locke both take turns stomping on the monster and Jessica Andrews doesn’t know what to do. They both grab an arm of Abraxes, the original Locke barking orders at the doppelganger, as they pull him in for a double clothesline! }
Vasco Dias: What is happening? It’s taking two Locke’s to take on one Abraxes. Terri Morasco: But Abraxes is still trying to get up…
{Abraxes manages to roll over onto himself up but Locke leaps up and connects with Dirt on my Boots! }
Vasco Dias: If this were a standard match, and this could end by pin fall, I imagine that this match would be over. Terri Morasco: Jessica is checking on Abraxes to see if he wants to get up… and without having to say a word, this match is still going.
{Both of the Lockes’ pick Abraxes up together and charge him out of the restroom. Abraxes stumbles forward and the doppelganger grabs a wooden stool and breaks it over his back! Meanwhile the original Locke goes over to the cue rack on the wall and pulls a fresh cue stick off. The doppelganger shoves Abraxes toward the pool table. }
Locke: Hold him there!
{Locke points at the table, and wipes the blood from his face. He takes the cue ball and sets it up as the doppelganger Locke holds Abraxes’s head against the table… }
Locke: Corner pocket…
{While lining up his shot, Locke shoots the cue ball as if he were playing a game of pool! The cue ball hits Abraxes’s face. }
Locke: Ah! I got it!
{Abraxes chatters his teeth as Locke moves the ball away and now lines up to jab the cue stick into Abraxes’s face directly now… a few more chatters. Locke pulls back, and Abraxes pulls the doppelganger in the way and the cue stick hits him on the cheek! Abraxes now stands up and delivers an uppercut to the actual Locke; the doppelganger tries to get a cheap shot, but a body shot from Abraxes causes him to keel over, and Abraxes raises him up so his feet are on the table, then drops him with Hush! }
Vasco Dias: Locke seems to be retreating a few steps, and his doppelganger looks out of it. Terri Morasco: It’s like watching a horror movie!
{There is no delay from Abraxes as he gets back up, and he tilts his head back and forth while walking toward Locke; Locke reaches behind him and gets a dart off the dartboard to fling it at Abraxes! Abraxes merely swats it away and continues closing the distance; now trapped at the wall, Locke swings for Abraxes, but Abraxes grabs his hand and takes a dart from the dartboard before stabbing it into Locke’s hand! }
Terri Morasco: That-- has got to hurt!
{With a yelp, Locke looks up at the dart sticking out of his hand. }
Locke: You… dirty… mother--
{An uppercut cuts Locke off. Locke pulls the dart from his hand, but Abraxes drags him back up and now looks back to ensure the doppelganger isn’t going to get involved… the doppelganger is gone, though, as if it vanished out of thin air. Abraxes lifts Locke the same as he did the doppelganger, this time letting him hang off one of the chairs, before using Hush! }
Terri Morasco: Abraxes seems satisfied with the damage he has done, and is heading for the door. I think he knows that Locke is done. Vasco Dias: But he does have to wait for Jessica Andrews to make the call, officially, and it seems that’s what he’s doing. Jessica is checking on Locke to see if he wants to just call it a day, which I think would be the best choice.
{In a sudden gesture, Locke grabs Jessica by the shoulder and draws her in close… }
Locke: Tell him--
{Locke coughs. }
Locke: Tell him-- to… apologize…
{There is still no quitting from Locke as he grabs the chair previously used against him to drag himself up, and Abraxes turns to his partner. The two stare each other down. Locke is an absolute bloody mess but he’s challenging Abraxes to persist. }
Terri Morasco: This is inhumane. Vasco Dias: It’s a good thing we’re dealing with supernatural beings.
Locke: Is that all you got?
{Several seconds pass of the duo of Gods & Monsters just looking at each other. Abraxes tilts his head one way, and Locke tilts his the opposite whilst sneering at him. The anticipation is building for another collision between these two, and with a nod from Locke, they both charge at each other; Locke finds himself too weak to be able to lift his arm, though, and Abraxes connects with a clothesline-- he grabs Locke to drag him up before he can lay fully out, but Locke tries to counter with a knee to his gut and draws Abraxes in to go for the Gunslinger DDT-- }
Vasco Dias: I don’t know what this will do! Neither one wants to call it quits!
{Another counter comes from Abraxes and he knees Locke in the stomach, this time lifting him up and getting him into a crucifix position on his back! Locke shakes his head whilst being trapped-- Abraxes flings Locke out of the window with the Consign to Dream! }
Vasco Dias: Abraxes is leaning over the glass to see if Locke is there.
{Jessica is trying to push herself through to see, and leans over… Locke is giving the finger, but he finally mutters. }
Locke: I-- I yield. I yield.
{The words come out weakly, and Jessica Andrews calls for the end of the match. }
Vasco Dias: It’s over! And I think both of these men are broken! Terri Morasco: I think you are right!
{Alison Valance inside of the ring. }
Alison Valance: Ladies and gentlemen! Jessica Andrews has called a stop to this contest… and your winner, by yield: ABRAXES!
{Abraxes is tilting his head back and forth while looking down at Locke, but Locke just looks at him still bloodied. He chuckles, almost sadistically. }
Locke: Bring that monster back, an’ we’re gon’ go back after those belts. Ah’right?
{Groaning in pain, Locke continues lying still. The cameras go back to the arena. }
------------------------------------- SEGMENT: Warning ------------------------------------
Terri Morasco: Night of the Immortals is only just getting started and it’s already the best show of the year!
Vasco Dias: I would be hard pressed to disagree with you there, Terri.
Terri Morasco: Now for our next contest-
{ Terri is suddenly cut off by Mission Statement by Stonesour as Dean Harper and Angel Blake come stepping through the curtain. }
Terri Morasco: What are Angel and Dean doing out here!? Their match isn’t until later in the night!?
Vasco Dias: I think we are going to find out, Terri, they’re headed to the ring.
{ Angel and Dean both climb into the ring. Both men are handed microphones. }
Angel Blake: Tonight the clock runs out… And this insipid mindgame ends… Tonight we find out who the First Son is…
{ Dean steps forward. }
Dean Harper: But we’re honestly a little sick and tired of waiting so why not drop the theatrics and come the hell out here right now!?
{ The crowd is roaring with anticipation as the clock once again pops up, still with time left. }
Dean Harper: Yes, yes, yes we get it. It’s super creepy and intimidating but look who you’re trying to frighten!? My father and I don’t really care who Tara prades through the curtain! We just want to get to the part where we kick the ever living hell out of them!
Angel Blake: You have had your fun, Tara… End this madness… And perhaps… I will allow Edward to send you a text...
{There is no music to signify the arrival of the IWF Women’s World Champion. Tara steps out from behind the curtains with a bold, confident stride. The crowd gave a cheer for her as she paced back and forth on top of the stage. She smirked at them before raising the microphone. }
Tara: You called, dearie?
Angel: Your deception has failed… I know who the First Son is not… End this game...
{A mild chant breaks out amongst the crowd: “Who is he?” is what they are chanting in the generic sequence. Tara taps her finger against her chin and tilts her head while coming to a stop; she licks her lips while contemplating Angel’s demand. }
Tara: Let me think…
{For several seconds, Tara just stands there, still tapping her finger against her chin. Angel and Dean grow angrier by the seconds ticking away. The chant from the crowd continues. }
Tara: No.
{The crowd boos in unison, and their reaction causes Tara to chuckle while Angel and Dean seem to be fuming. }
Tara: Darling… baby… snookums… I have already told you that the First Son would know who he is, and be where he is meant to be at later tonight. You’ll just have to be patient like everyone else.
{ Angel is trying to remain calm as Dean moves like he is going to strike but Angel stops him. }
Tara: Farewell, my sweet prince.
{Tara kissed her hand, and blew it to Angel. She turned toward the curtains. }
Angel: You and the First Son will regret this...
{Angel threatened, but Tara continued walking away back through the curtains leaving Angel and Dean in the ring. }
Vasco Dias: Who is he!?
Terri Morasco: I don’t know!? But we don’t have much longer to wait.
{ We head to a video package for our next match. }
-------------------------------------IWF WORLD TELEVISION CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH 1,500 RP WORD LIMIT JC Keeton vs Ulf Hednir(c) -------------------------------------
{The beat to "Born Legendary" by Emanuel Vo Williams hits. }
I crawled out the gutter
I rose to the top
My reign everlasting
I can’t be stopped
I was made for the throne
Rise up til I moan
You been waiting on a ruler
Well I’m home
{As soon as he says the word "Home" pyro explodes from the rampway as JC Keeton steps through the curtain. He makes his way to the ring bouncing in rhythm to the music. When he reaches the ring he leaps up onto the apron and steps through the ropes, He continues to sway and bounce from heel to heel as he awaits the match to start. }
Terri Morasco: This is one of the matches that everyone is watching!
Vasco Dias: There’s no doubt about that. Their match from Danger Zone--
Terri Morasco: --was AMAZING!
Vasco Dias: … yes, it was amazing, and yes, it has had the world of professional wrestling talking about it, which has brought a great deal of hype for this! The rematch!
Terri Morasco: There is a great deal of respect between JC Keeton and Ulf Hednir, but JC Keeton has been suggesting that he… really… wants that belt of his. He wants to be the one to take it away from Ulf. What do you think the odds are that he does that?
Vasco Dias: Listen, JC is not going to be a man that anyone can underestimate. He is incredibly talented. He has pushed past all of his competition from before he fought Ulf, and after he fought Ulf. Ulf has been JC’s kryptonite. But JC is determined. JC has been learning some new tricks. I think tonight… could very well be the night that Ulf is finally dethroned.
{JC Keeton, Blue Shoes, and the entire crowd are anticipating the arrival of the reigning IWF World Television Champion. Row by row, each light throughout the arena goes out. They do not hear the sound they are accustomed to hearing, the introductory guitar for Ulf’s theme song, but rather they hear the sound of a war horn. A white light slowly illuminates the arena whilst fog begins to fill, and faux snow is also overtaking the arena. The first verse of the song comes and goes. }
Vasco Dias: This is… unusual.
Terri Morasco: It’s snowing!
Ó Valhalla
Ó Valhalla
Ó Valhalla
Ó Valhalla
{By the sound of the chant, several extras begin marching out from behind the curtains. They are dressed in traditional Scandinavian fighting attire; they have spears in one hand and shields in their other, as they pound their respective spears against their shields in sync with the music. When the chorus has played for the second time, the extras have reached their designated area; they stand on both sides of the ramp and turn to face each other. }
Vasco Dias: We’re not about to see a turf war, are we? Is this the “Heathen Army”?! Please tell me they’re not back. I thought we were done with this.
Terri Morasco: These fans, Vasco, they are the Heathen Army!
Vasco Dias: He calls them “The Ulfpack” now. Get with the times. Sheesh.
{The song fades to a close with the chant. The extras are still just standing. One of them suddenly shouts, “Valhalla!” which causes the crowd to cheer incredibly loud before the more familiar introduction to “Raise Your Horns” by Amon Amarth begins to play and each of the extras put their spears with their shields, and raise a drinking horn in a saluting fashion. Fog shoots out heavily at the curtains which is causing the crowd to get louder, and louder, until Ulf finally emerges from behind the curtains! His wolf headdress is covering his head and hair, as his eyes peer out between the teeth attached at the top. From what is visible, he has his face paint done in the fashion of “Sokka”, but he has his drinking horn raised high. The crowd has all but entirely drowned out the sound of the theme song with their cheer for Ulf. }
Ulf Hednir: SKÅL!
Crowd: SKÅL!
{Ulf raises the horn over his head, and down the hatch! He turns it upside down to signify that it is empty, as the extras all raise their horns as well. He marches down the ramp with his horn out, and taps it against each of the extras horns while looking into the ring at his opponent. His friend, and a man he considers a brother: JC Keeton. JC is getting himself amped up inside of the ring. Ulf reaches the bottom of the ramp; JC gestures for Ulf to get into the ring, and he just holds up a finger to say to give him a moment. }
Vasco Dias: Come on… get in the ring, already!
Terri Morasco: These fans are enjoying the show. This is the biggest night of the year! One of the biggest matches of the night! People like what they are watching.
Vasco Dias: … Get in the damn ring!
{Many of the fans around the ring are stretching their arms outward to Ulf, and he does not disappoint; he greets as many of the fans as he possibly can while walking around the outside of the ring and nearing the commentating booth, he stops where the same woman from several weeks ago is sitting in the front row, and she seemed to be talking with another girl beside her. }
Vasco Dias: That’s Robi, better known as Valkyrie. Not the one we are familiar with! And her friend, Rori.
Terri Morasco: Friends of Ulf?
Vasco Dias: Don’t sound so jealous!
{Ulf gives the drinking horn to Rori, and gives a salute to both of them; the salute causes the crowd to give a shout of “SKÅL!” - he proceeds to another part of the crowd, the front row, where Ulf stops… at JC’s parents, where Thea is sitting next to Blayze. Her face lights up at the sight of her father, and Jake Keeton, former IWF superstar and JC’s father, helps her lean over the barricade; Ulf caresses her face and touches his forehead to hers. He can be heard telling her: “For deg. Jeg vinne for deg.” Ulf stands back up and shares a brief conversation with JC’s parents before taking off the wolf headdress and putting it over Thea and Blayze who are leaned in closer together. }
Ulf Hednir: Skål!
{With no one left to greet, Ulf finally turns and slides under the bottom rope; he takes the IWF World Television Championship from his waist and marches to the far ropes to hold it over his head. The pose is held for a couple moments, for those with the benefit of flash photography, then walks back toward the center of the ring; his eyes lock with JC Keeton as the two are both hyped and ready to give these fans a show they will never forget. The championship now rests in the hands of Blue Shoes. The music comes to a close, and Ulf and JC stand across from each other as the crowd anxiously waits for the sound of the bell. “Valhalla” chants have broken out, in the sequence of “val-hal-la”. Blue Shoes holds the belt up between the competitors, and they give a respectful fist bump. }
Vasco Dias: What a response… I don’t know the last time I heard the crowd with this kind of reaction. Ulf Hednir. JC Keeton. There is no denying that these two had one of the greatest matches in the history of the IWF at Danger Zone, and there is no doubt that they are going to raise that bar this evening!
Terri Morasco: You’re not going to get me to disagree with you. That is a fact. JC has been counting the days down for Ulf to finish the gauntlet so he could challenge him again. This is one of those matches that is going to have everybody paying attention. It’s going to have everybody on the edge of their seats. And just-- this crowd-- this crowd is unbelievable! We are hearing multiple Ulf chants breaking out amongst them, and we are hearing JC Keeton chants battling with them! Who would you pull for in this match, Vasco?
Vasco Dias: I do believe that JC Keeton has the fire in his favor. He needs this win-- he doesn’t just want it. He NEEDS it.
Terri Morasco: It’s a tough one, but I do think Ulf is going to pull this one out. He’s been unstoppable this entire time. I think he’s going to keep that momentum going.
{Ulf and JC both gesture out to the friends they have sitting in the front row of Night of the Immortals. JC points at Ulf whilst speaking to them. }
JC Keeton: Yeah, your boy here? He’s losing that belt! It’s coming home with me!
{JC’s words get a chuckle out of Ulf, and they now bring their attention to each other; the two friends stand across the ring from each other as Blue Shoes holds the IWF World Television Championship high from the center of the ring. There is a pop from the crowd, as JC and Ulf both taunt the crowd to get their reaction before Blue Shoes calls for the bell. Blue Shoes hands the championship to the time keeper and returns to the center to call for the bell. }
Terri Morasco: This is round two between JC Keeton and Ulf Hednir! JC was the first man that Ulf defended the IWF World Television Championship against, and after Ulf completed the entire gauntlet, he received a second shot!
Vasco Dias: JC Keeton is hungry, though. JC was looking to defeat Ulf early on, he was looking to take the belt before Ulf could have had a successful defense… but it didn’t pay off. And all these months later, he’s hungrier than he was the first time! He’s tired of being viewed as the sidekick…
Terri Morasco: He never was viewed as a sidekick! I don’t know where that came from!
Vasco Dias: I’m just telling you what may be going through his head. He’s had to play second fiddle to Ulf for months!
Terri Morasco: Ulf made his name-- and these two are now blasting each other!
{Upon the sound of the bell, JC and Ulf charge to the middle of the ring and immediately start exchanging lefts and rights with each other! JC is able to use his speed advantage to dodge some of the shots from Ulf, while landing most of his shots; Ulf swings and misses several times, only to be met with a stiff kick. }
Terri Morasco: JC Keeton did assist Ulf with preparing for his MMA bout earlier in this month, so you have to expect that JC does know what Ulf is capable of doing and he’s being smart by avoiding those shots!
Vasco Dias: Gotta be light on your feet. Look at how he’s dodging, but always coming in with a counter! You can’t let Ulf fire freely!
{Ulf goes for a left, but JC catches it and just starts firing repeated shots while locking Ulf’s arm away from being able to defend; JC battles Ulf back into the corner and continues delivering kicks! Ulf reaches forward and forces them into a clinch before dropping JC’s head down and driving a knee up at the same time. JC tries to shake it off, and Ulf re-clinches; he delivers an uppercut this time… }
Terri Morasco: Mmm, that beautiful uppercut seemed to daze JC, and Ulf is looking to keep that power to his advantage.
Vasco Dias: From their first encounter, JC seems to have learned not to play the power game with Ulf! Most people that tried, failed. I liked how he opened it, and I think he’s going to shift the momentum back in his favor-- and there’s Ulf going for a clothesline! But JC ducks!
{...following Vasco’s commentary, Ulf turns to JC who avoided the clothesline, and JC leaps up to connect with a beautiful dropkick! }
Vasco Dias: What a dropkick! Both of these men are known for their picture perfect dropkicks, and the first one lands from JC Keeton that forces the champion to the mat! JC is going for a quick cover!
Terri Morasco: And Ulf kicks out at two, but he’s not rushing to get to his feet. I wonder if JC hit him just right with that dropkick that just knocked the wind out of him.
Vasco Dias: It was a thing of beauty.
{JC springs back up to his feet and bounces off the ropes to gain some momentum as he charges forward, and leaps up to go for a knee drop! Ulf moves out of the way, and JC rolls forward and back to his feet; Ulf is now to his feet and is already facing JC who has his back to Ulf. }
Terri Morasco: He’s got that fist clenched!
Vasco Dias: Don’t turn around! Just duck!
{JC turns around as Ulf dashes forward and leaps up for The Thor Punch! }
Terri Morasco: A quick-- no! JC is able to avoid it!
{Ulf stiffs the landing, and turns to JC a second time and is met with another dropkick! }
Vasco Dias: This is what the challengers needed to bring to the table each week. This heart. This dedication. JC Keeton has prepared himself to rise to this challenge! And I’m liking what I’m seeing!
Terri Morasco: JC is trying for a second cover, but Ulf is already sitting up. JC transitions it into a sleeper hold trying to get Ulf to submit, but… you know… I don’t think we’ve ever seen Ulf tap out. Not once. Not ever.
Vasco Dias: He won’t need to tap out if he just blacks out! Blue Shoes will call this one!
{Despite being in the hold, Ulf does get himself up to his feet and delivers an elbow into JC’s sternum; a second time to his abdomen, and a third time to the abdomen; Ulf gets JC setup for a back body drop! }
Vasco Dias: JC is in trouble, and-- no, he flips through it!
{JC immediately locks Ulf into a full nelson position before bringing him back into a DRAGON SUPLEX! }
Vasco Dias: That suplex was executed masterfully, and I think that JC Keeton is in the driver seat. He’s been keeping this match in his favor. He’s been one step ahead of the champion all evening!
Terri Morasco: It is rather amazing to see what JC has been pulling off. And JC is going for another cover, but Ulf kicks out before the two! I think that was Ulf trying to send the message that he’s not going to stay down.
Vasco Dias: I think you’re right, but it’s not going to matter. Something is going to hit just right, and Ulf is going to find himself unable to kick out.
{Ulf sits up, and JC is already behind him to get him into another sleeper hold; this doesn’t stop Ulf from standing up… }
Terri Morasco: That strength! Ulf is having his oxygen depleted, but still managing to put JC up. Ulf knows that he can’t afford to let JC keep this control, especially ground control over him.
Vasco Dias: JC came out with a game plan, but yeah… Ulf can be a bit overwhelming, but look at JC go! He’s transitioning, trying to get this into a rear naked choke, if he can just drag Ulf back down to the mat!
{JC is holding onto Ulf’s neck with the rear naked choke, but Ulf flings himself back and pushes all of his weight against JC! JC loosens the hold, but doesn’t let go; Ulf takes a step forward before charging back again! Ulf does this three more times before JC finally lets go. }
Terri Morasco: I think that Ulf finally knocked the wind out of JC, but he’s got him trapped now. Ulf is letting the elbows fly!
{Ulf alternates left and right back elbows to JC’s jaw and head, and JC has no choice but to try and raise his hands to absolve the majority of the impact; it still hurts him, but Ulf doesn’t slow down until Blue Shoes is finally insisting that the onslaught needed to stop. }
Terri Morasco: I think that was just pure fury… pure rage that filled Ulf, and he wanted to make JC pay!
Vasco Dias: Pay for what? JC Keeton only came to this match prepared!
Terri Morasco: For the cheap shot he took at him at No Way Home!
{Ulf steps out of the corner, and JC stumbles out; Ulf connects with a spinning roundhouse kick to JC that sends him to the mat, and the champion follows for the cover. One! Two! JC Keeton gets a shoulder up! }
Vasco Dias: JC is rolling for the ropes, and I think that’s the best thing for him right now… give himself a breather.
Terri Morasco: Are you sure he’s not scared? Ulf is starting to get fired up, and once he gets going, there isn’t much that will stop him!
{JC rolls onto the apron before using the ropes to pull himself up to his feet; Ulf clinched with him over the top rope before setting him up for a vertical suplex; he succeeds in lifting JC but begins showboating to the crowd by showing off his strength with the delay in holding him! The crowd cheers! }
Terri Morasco: All that blood is rushing to JC’s head! Look at JC trying to kick his feet, trying to shift his weight so that gravity just carries him back down, but Ulf has a good hold on him.
Vasco Dias: JC needs to get out of this predicament, and with-- there it is, with a kick of his legs, he’s coming down, he just needs to keep Ulf from dropping him!
{JC has shifted his weight enough and is able to drop behind Ulf before rolling him up into a schoolboy cover! One! Two! Ulf kicks out! }
Vasco Dias: I like how JC Keeton is going for these covers despite knowing that Ulf is nowhere near ready to be covered. He is making him expend that energy to kick out! And you never know, maybe he will sneak it in? All it usually takes is one more extra second.
Terri Morasco: JC did almost steal it. That was two and a half, but Ulf did kick out. JC is the first to his feet, but Ulf is up to his knees in front of him, and JC goes for a yakuza kick!
{Ulf is able to bring his hands up to deflect most of the kick, but JC still connects with it! Ulf shakes it off and starts getting to his feet, only for JC to put him into a front headlock, wrenching on the hold to try to force Ulf to give up! }
Terri Morasco: Ulf is still in a bad way, but we’ve seen him come up with some nifty counters and it looks like he’s going to do that again! We’re seeing it! The Bjorn Hug!
Vasco Dias: Oh! Those ribs are being crushed!
{JC is squirming, and releases the front headlock in desperation to get himself free, but Ulf has the Bjorn Hug locked in! JC is reaching out for the ropes but Ulf has him in the middle of the ring, and so JC tries to create some separation by putting his arms between them; he grabs Ulf by the head and delivers a headbutt! }
Terri Morasco: Ooh. Oh, honey, bad idea.
Vasco Dias: He’s gotta think of something fast, otherwise Ulf is going to wear him down. And his hands are locked!
{JC is trying to shake out his own cobwebs from headbutting Ulf, as Ulf continues squeezing with the hold; JC has no choice, and he stomps Ulf’s foot! The stomp causes Ulf to move his leg, but JC reaches again anyway and continues stomping, and stomping, and stomping, until he can throw in another headbutt! The headbutt seems to faze him more than it does Ulf, but it still gets Ulf to loosen his grip, and JC gets his arms around him to show off his own strength by lifting Ulf up and back down with a belly-to-belly suplex! }
Vasco Dias: A nice reversal! And JC Keeton is showing off his own strength!
Terri Morasco: He’s no slouch! No one has ever said that he is! But this crowd is still loving what these two are able to do so far!
Vasco Dias: I think he’s going to go for another cover, but Ulf is sitting up. Maybe he should stay on top of him with that technical prowse? Or do the opposite of what I suggest. That’s fine, too.
{JC is the first to his feet, and is lifting Ulf up with him trying to maintain a grapple control over him… until Ulf manages to catch JC off-guard and lift him up and drop him over his knee with a gutbuster! }
Vasco Dias: Should have left him grounded, because now Ulf is trying to take over the driver seat.
{JC rolls a bit across the ring while holding his stomach, and Ulf advances and now picks JC up who fires a few shots, almost aiming for a lucky shot to knock the wind back out of Ulf, but to no avail; Ulf drives a knee to his abdomen, and then again to his chest, then almost rips JC’s arm off as he gets him up and draws him in for a short-arm clothesline! }
Terri Morasco: That looked like it would have decapitated a lesser man! And Ulf is going for the cover.
{JC Keeton kicks out at two. }
Vasco Dias: JC Keeton has done well with regaining control of this match, and I’m certain he’s going to get it back! JC has just been too smart from the beginning, and just seems to know everything Ulf is going to throw at him.
Terri Morasco: He can come up with any plan he would like! All of those plans are going out of the window when you’re getting hit in the face!
{Ulf gets back up to his feet, and pulls JC with him… this time he pushes JC against the ropes before sending him off with an Irish-whip, and Ulf goes to collide with him in the center of the ring with a clothesline! But JC ducks! Ulf turns around as JC is coming back, aiming now for an attack of his own, but Ulf leaps up and connects with his own picture perfect dropkick! }
Terri Morasco: Mmmm! A thing of absolute beauty! And he’s looking not going to let JC Keeton be the only one showing off that spectacular dropkick this match!
Vasco Dias: It was a perfect connection. But JC almost bounces right back to his feet.
{The impact causes JC to sit up, and he continues to his feet, but has an arm holding his back from the impact he took hitting the mat; Ulf returns to his feet and goes forward for several forearms smashes against JC to battle him against the ropes, and he sends him off with another Irish-whip! JC tries to counter with a crossbody, but Ulf catches him! }
Vasco Dias: Damn it, JC! You’re getting careless out there!
Terri Morasco: Ulf is not one that you ever want to try to use a crossbody against, because he has the strength to catch you! And now he is parading around the ring--
Vasco Dias: As if he already won! Kick your legs, JC, kick your legs, and focus!
{JC is trying to squirm himself free from Ulf’s grasp, but Ulf doesn’t waste anymore time and sends JC over with a fallaway slam! }
Vasco Dias: There really was no escaping that.
Terri Morasco: I concur. That’s one of the hardest positions to escape without some outside assistance, and despite everything that has happened this month… These two are friends. JC does not want to win by cheating Ulf out of it! JC wants to earn the victory, and earn the belt!
Vasco Dias: But JC has escaped the ring to buy himself some time…
Terri Morasco: Ulf seems to be taking this opportunity to catch his own breath, but Blue Shoes does not look like he wants to count.
{Blue Shoes and Ulf are inside of the ring and sharing a few words with each other, while JC Keeton paces outside of the ring with his hands on his hips as he tries to catch his own breath. The crowd does not seem to be too pleased that the match has slowed down from JC’s escape to the outside, but JC eventually does climb up to apron… JC and Ulf mouth a few words off at each other, and JC seems to challenge Ulf! Ulf charges at JC, only to be met with a stiff elbow that sends him staggering back; JC leaps to the top rope and comes off for Youth in Motion! }
Terri Morasco: JC wanted Ulf to attack him on the apron, and Ulf took the bait!
Vasco Dias: We could see it!
Terri Morasco: No! Ulf moves out of the way!
{JC stiffs the landing, and quickly turns to Ulf who dodged the move; JC charges in for a double leg takedown, but Ulf gets JC into a front headlock and slides back as he drags JC to the mat with the hold applied… JC straightens his legs and is able to push himself back to a standing position, and just charges forward as he and Ulf tumble between the ropes and to the outside of the ring! }
Vasco Dias: Ulf took a hard landing outside of the ring. JC Keeton may have saved himself by landing on top of Ulf, as he’s already starting to get up to his feet, and he is grabbing Ulf’s arm to try to force him back up…
Terri Morasco: JC, I think, took a bit of damage from that landing but you’re right. Not near as much, and-- oof! He sends Ulf into the barricade!
{Ulf is in a seated position in front of the friends he has that came in his support, beside the barricade, and JC charges in right after to connect with a yakuza kick and hits his mark! Ulf tumbles down the rest of the way and is just laid out as JC Keeton places his palms on the barricade and leans toward them peering with bloodstained eyes. }
JC Keeton: This is no “Wolf of Odin”. This is a pup! And I’m taking his belt TONIGHT!
Vasco Dias: JC Keeton is telling them what’s what, and to be honest-- I think he’s right! I think he is going to walk out of here tonight as the one to finally dethrone Ulf!
Terri Morasco: We’ve seen Ulf fight some of the toughest--
Vasco Dias: None quite so tough!
Terri Morasco: Correct. None quite as tough as JC Keeton… but we’ve seen him come back and surprise everybody before, so I don’t think that there’s a way that we can count him out just yet.
Vasco Dias: But JC needs to keep that pressure-- and yes, he knows that! He’s pulling Ulf back up to his feet and-- he sends him toward the-- NO! Ulf reverses!
{JC Keeton collides with the steel steps and flips over them; the adrenaline rushing through JC doesn’t permit him to stay down too long-- }
Vasco Dias: And here comes Ulf! He’s using what’s left of the steps to catapult himself! And--
{--JC turns to see Ulf already in the air and comes towards him for The Thor Punch! JC is able to move to the side to avoid it! }
Vasco Dias: And JC avoids it!
Terri Morasco: That was close, but JC Keeton isn’t going to be upstaged; he goes for Ode to the Outlaw! But Ulf holds him up!
{Ulf catches JC and puts him into a powerbomb position! He wants to powerbomb him to the outside of the ring badly, but JC is holding on for dear life and begins to land a few strikes to Ulf’s exposed skull with him being unable to defend himself-- Ulf charges JC toward the ring post, and slams JC’s back into it! JC grunts in pain, but doesn’t relinquish the safety; he throws a few more strikes as Ulf tries to back him into the post a second time-- JC still holds on. }
Vasco Dias: What is Ulf going to have to do to get JC to lose his defense?
Terri Morasco: JC has been trying to wear Ulf down despite being in this bad positioning, because if Ulf falls then gravity is going to do its damage to him.
Vasco Dias: We have to see something. JC needs to find a way out of this predicament, or Ulf needs to find a way to capitalize-- and there it is! JC got his legs from Ulf’s shoulders and is sliding off his shoulders and back to his feet, but he also is putting Ulf into a front headlock. Ulf has him against the apron and is trying to fight his way out of it, and there-- yes-- there it is! The power that Ulf has! A spinebuster!
Terri Morasco: That knocked the wind right out of JC Keeton!
{Whilst both Ulf and JC are lying outside of the ring, Blue Shoes goes out of the ring to check on them-- }
Vasco Dias: Why hasn’t he started counting? Last time I checked, this was still a standard match-up!
Terri Morasco: After what happened at No Way Home, none of them… Ulf, JC, and Blue Shoes, do not want to see this match end in this fashion. I think Blue Shoes is doing great by avoiding any kind of count-out.
{--the replay shows the impact of the spinebuster that knocked JC loose from the front headlock, but sees that because of it, JC was able to finish Ulf with a self-inflicted DDT since he was unable to free himself from the grasp. Ulf is propping up on his elbows and shaking out the cobwebs while JC just stared wide-eyed toward the lights, and grimaces. Blue Shoes is encouraging both men to take this action back into the ring, and then he gets back into the ring himself… }
Vasco Dias: Is Ulf bleeding? Is he?
Terri Morasco: No, he’s not.
Vasco Dias: What does it take to bust that man open?!
Terri Morasco: A hell of a lot more!
Vasco Dias: Well, in either case, Ulf is grabbing the apron and using it to drag himself up to his feet, and JC is rolling over onto his stomach.
{Ulf is able to get to one knee and then slides under the bottom rope and just lies there for a moment to catch his breath. Keeton is still pushing himself up and grips the bottom rope to pull himself up to the apron. He and Ulf both stand at the same time, and Ulf goes for a quick elbow to the challenger! }
Vasco Dias: Telegraphed! JC ducks, and connects with an elbow of his own! He’s drawing him in-- and--
{JC pulls Ulf toward the ropes and delivers an uppercut to his stomach before committing to a sunset flip and rolls Ulf up! }
Vasco Dias: Sunset flip! And I don’t think Ulf has enough in the tank to kick out of this one--
Terri Morasco: Could we be seeing a new champion? … NO!
{At the count of two, Ulf is able to shift his weight and now has JC’s shoulder pinned down, and Blue Shoes counts: One! Two! JC is able get his shoulder up, but Ulf starts transitioning into side control while throwing a couple elbows against JC. JC raises his arm up to block the elbows and tries to squirm his way free. }
Terri Morasco: Ulf has the power! Ulf is capable of bringing an end to this match just off of those elbows alone!
Vasco Dias: JC needs to think, and think fast, to get out of this! He can’t stay under this control for too long, and I think-- yes, he has the answer!
{JC is able to transition, dragging Ulf’s arm with him as he gets him into a hammerlock; Ulf is still getting to his feet despite being in it, and looks over his shoulder to square JC up for an elbow… he spins, and-- HE MISSES! JC shoves off from Ulf, and connects with a picture perfect dropkick! }
Vasco Dias: Whew! That air that JC Keeton got while delivering that dropkick, and he looks like he’s scrambling to get a cover!
{One! Two! Ulf kicks out at the half! Ulf rolls onto his stomach at the same time as JC scrambles forward and puts Ulf into another front headlock trying to maintain control over the match… }
Vasco Dias: These two are just back and forth, but Ulf’s strength… his determination… it is astounding.
Terri Morasco: You don’t like him!
Vasco Dias: Listen, Terri, I am coming around and starting to respect him! I have to respect him! But there seems to be no answer for JC Keeton to come up with to bring an end to Ulf, but if he can…
Terri Morasco: Ulf just sailed JC over with a huge back body drop!
{JC seemed to prepare himself for the drop, and absorb most of the impact; he grabs Ulf by the legs and tries to trip him up, but Ulf manages to keep himself standing then just kneels down over JC-- JC sees what is coming, and just releases Ulf’s legs to defend himself as the hammering blows start raining down upon him. }
Vasco Dias: JC is trying to cover as much as he can, and trying to roll out of the way, but Ulf truly does have him pinned down. And just hear those shots! Even if Ulf isn’t hitting his mark, there is damage being done to JC’s forearms. Ulf is being careful not to hit the elbow because then this attack may backfire.
Terri Morasco: JC is trying to peek through his fingers to try to find an opening to counter, but I don’t think he has an opening, and now-- there it is, Ulf has a hold of JC’s arms and is just preventing him from defending himself!
{Ulf pins JC’s arms down to his side, and JC instinctively tries to sit up, but is met with a swift headbutt! }
Vasco Dias: That seemed to have put JC out, but even Ulf seems dazed by it…
Terri Morasco: He’s shaking it off, and he’s gesturing to the crowd. Could we see it?!
{Ulf is up to his feet, and points to his blonde friend sitting in the front row and the camera focuses on her for a moment to see her cheering since she’s familiar with what’s coming next… }
Vasco Dias: By her name-- FLIGHT! OF THE! VALKYRIES!
{Ulf grabs JC by the legs, and JC is already trying to squirm away but has the feeling that it’s too late; he just tries to cover the back of his head to avoid a bad landing as Ulf begins spinning JC around with Flight of the Valkyries. The crowd is chanting each successful spin that Ulf makes as JC is heard shouting at Ulf while being swung around… }
JC Keeton: Oh! You son of a bitch!
{The crowd continues chanting with each successful revolution, and Ulf gets to the count of sixteen before finally releasing JC! JC goes a fair distance, and Ulf stumbles back and falls on his own caboose. JC just stares up trying to stop his head from spinning, and Ulf is just as dizzy, but he can’t help but chuckle. }
Terri Morasco: SIXTEEN, VASCO! Ulf spun JC around SIXTEEN times!
{The crowd is roaring loudly for Ulf who takes a few deep breaths, but JC is taking his time to attempt to get up. }
Vasco Dias: That’s the most we’ve ever seen him do! That more than DOUBLED what he did to Stephen Terrella, that beat his record when he competed against Nate Fate in the gauntlet last month before No Way Home--
Terri Morasco: It’s just! Unbelievable! But look, JC Keeton is starting to get to his feet, although still wobbly. It looks like he’s trying to find his center.
{Ulf notices that JC is getting up, so decides to be the first to his feet-- both men are winded from the amount of damage that they have taken throughout this match, but neither man is giving, and both are looking for that next wind to carry them… }
Vasco Dias: JC takes the first swing, and I think he’s still feeling the effects from the Flight of the Valkyries which still has these fans going nuts, because that was a wide miss!
{Ulf fires with a shot, and he hits his mark! JC goes for another-- another wide miss, and Ulf lands a second shot. A third miss from JC, and Ulf fires-- JC ducks! JC circles behind him and awaits Ulf to turn around and gets a good amount of air as he leaps up for a double footstomp! He connects, and Ulf grunts but quickly scrambles to get himself to the corner and into a seated position to prevent JC from being able to go for the cover… }
Vasco Dias: JC Keeton sees the next step, after an explosive double footstomp-- and now there he goes, getting some more air-- a dropkick to Ulf into the corner!
{Ulf lays out cold in the corner of the ring, as JC Keeton almost slides right out of the ring from the angle that he hit the dropkick. A replay shows the elevation that JC Keeton got when he landed the hesitation dropkick; he had caught himself on the bottom rope and stepped out onto the apron. }
Vasco Dias: JC is now calling for Ulf to get up, and we could see this come to an end… he’s calling for it, and this crowd wants to see it!
Terri Morasco: But Ulf is rather close to the ropes. I’m not certain if this is the time to do it.
{Ulf is up, still close to the ropes, and JC springs to the top rope! JC springs toward Ulf aiming for Youth in Motion-- but Ulf is able to duck his head down to avoid the contact, and pulls JC into the Bjorn Hug! }
Terri Morasco: He’s going to crush his ribs right here! JC Keeton tried for something drastic, and it didn’t pay off, and now he’s in trouble--
Vasco Dias: But JC Keeton shows his ring awareness, he knows that they’re close to the ropes! And he gets a hand on it before Ulf can get it locked in for too long!
{Ulf immediately lets go, not wanting to break the rules… least of all against his friend, and JC takes a deep breath knowing that he was saved by the ropes, but he knows he can’t waste any time, and swings for a short clothesline against Ulf! Ulf ducks, and reaches back to hook one of JC’s arms-- }
Terri Morasco: The Blood Eagle! We could be laying witness to Ulf’s secondary finishing move, a move we rarely see, and a move that nobody has EVER kicked out of: THE BLOOD EAGLE!
Vasco Dias: JC is fighting it! JC isn’t giving up his arm, and Ulf is trying to throw some elbows back to force him to give it up, but JC fights back with elbows of his own-- Ulf is looking for that hook, but narrowly misses! Another elbow from JC, hits its mark, and Ulf again tries to absorb the blow in exchange for hooking his arm but to no avail!
{JC lands another elbow then spins out of it whilst hooking both of Ulf’s arms back; he brings him back and into a dragon suplex! JC keeps the bridge held, and Blue Shoes counts… }
Vasco Dias: That’s it! Ulf landed on his neck!
Terri Morasco: This crowd is loving this match, and they are letting these two know.
{One! Two! 2.7! }
Vasco Dias: NO! Ulf is able to kick out, and it couldn’t get much closer. Blue Shoes is telling JC that it was only two. I can’t believe it! You can’t believe it! This crowd can’t believe it! JC can’t believe it!
Terri Morasco: What’re you talking about? I believe it! Ulf is one of the toughest that the IWF has to offer. One of the toughest it has known! Even back when he debuted, we knew he was going to be a tough nut to crack, and we all know he started strong but fell… but now, I think he’s living up to his potential.
Vasco Dias: You can’t believe it. Don’t try to correct me. JC is holding two fingers at Blue Shoes and seems to be questioning his count.
Terri Morasco: There is no referee quite like Blue Shoes. He has the perfect cadence for counting, so if he says it’s two-- I believe him. {She says with a nod. }
{Ulf rolls onto his side to prevent JC from being able to follow-up with another pin attempt. JC gets up to his feet and hurries over to Ulf as he is trying to get up; JC delivers a couple forearm smashes against him, and tries to maintain control, but just as he does the crowd gives a huge pop as Ulf lifts JC up onto his shoulders! }
Terri Morasco: The Valhalla Driver! We could see Ulf land the Valhalla Driver, and this long into the match, I guarantee that there is no way JC would be able to kick out of it!
Vasco Dias: JC is kicking his legs to try and get free, but Ulf seems to have a good hold on him-- but that doesn’t stop JC! JC delivers an elbow! And a second elbow! And a third! Ulf has to let him down, and JC dodges a huge bullet.
{As JC gets his feet back to the mat, Ulf keels over, and JC charges at the far ropes-- as he returns, and hits a jumping leapfrog bulldog! Ulf goes down face first, and JC quickly rolls him over just slinging a shoulder over him for a cover: One! Two! Ulf is able to roll his shoulder from the mat! }
Vasco Dias: You have to ask yourselves: HOW MUCH MORE does Ulf have in the tank? WHAT DOES JC have to do to seal the deal? JC looks like he’s asking himself that same question!
Terri Morasco: Listen, you have to keep in mind that Ulf has become the longest reigning IWF World Television Champion. He has successfully retained the belt eleven--
Vasco Dias: Eight. He’s defended it eight times.
Terri Morasco: One was a gauntlet! In one night! Each one should count as one!
Vasco Dias: I don’t make the rules.
Terri Morasco: I’m sticking with my answer.
{A sudden “skål” chant begins to break out amongst the crowd as if to try and rally the champion. The fans had nothing against JC Keeton, but the amount of drive and heart Ulf has put on display, they are still chanting for him. }
Terri Morasco: JC Keeton is the first to his feet, and he’s measuring Ulf up-- we could be looking at the Ode to the Outlaw to bring this one to an end, but the crowd is still chanting! I don’t think they want to see this match end.
{As Ulf staggers to his feet, JC leaps up to go for Ode to the Outlaw! But-- }
Vasco Dias: What power! What strength!
{--Ulf got both of his arms up between himself and JC, as JC gets his legs to Ulf’s shoulders; Ulf powers him up the rest of the way in a military press fashion! JC is shaking his head while trying to kick his legs and shift his weight, but to no avail. }
Terri Morasco: What a reversal! What a way to shift this momentum, and he-- he drops him onto his shoulders! And here it goes: VALHALLA DRIVER!
{The replay shows Ulf dropping JC into a freefall, but catching him with his shoulders and then sailing him over with the Valhalla Driver! Ulf slumps his shoulder wearily over JC Keeton, and the crowd chants with Blue Shoes as he counts: One! Two! 2.8! }
Vasco Dias: No! No way!
Terri Morasco: Now it’s Ulf’s turn to be in shock, as he was looking for three, and I just can’t believe it! Ulf was inches away from another successful title defense! This would have cemented his legacy as the greatest TV Champion of all time. This would have cemented his legacy as one of the top stars in the IWF! This was his Night of the Immortals moment!
Vasco Dias: I just-- I can’t anymore… I can’t fathom it with this match anymore!
{Ulf crawls over to the corner to use it to bring himself up to his feet, and looks over at JC Keeton who is still just staring up at the lights… Ulf pounds his fist into the mat, and begins grinding it in as he calls for JC to get up, and the crowd roars in unison. }
Terri Morasco: And Ulf is looking to bring this match to an end with The Thor Punch! Remember, no one has kicked out of The Thor Punch!
Vasco Dias: Don’t remind me, Terri! But I think you’re right in saying that we could be seeing the end coming, as Ulf is looking to hit his mark… JC-- up to his feet-- and he staggers… he turns… HERE COMES ULF!
{Ulf explodes out of the corner and leaps into the air-- }
Terri Morasco: THE THOR! PUNCH!
{JC Keeton dodges! He rolls out of the way, but is slow to get to his feet… luckily for him, Ulf is also off balance after an exhausting match. Ulf staggers to his feet at the same time as JC, and JC leaps into the air and connects with ODE TO THE OUTLAW! }
Terri Morasco: JC Keeton hit it! JC Keeton hit Ode to the Outlaw!
Vasco Dias: Cover him, JC! Cover him! Bring his reign of terror to an end!
{Warily, JC manages to pull one of Ulf’s legs to hook it as Blue Shoes makes the count: One! Two! THREE! }
Terri Morasco: We have a new World Television Champion! JC Keeton - in what was an epic round two - walked out as the new champion!
Vasco Dias: Finally!
Alison Valance: Your winner! By way of pinfall! AND NEW! IWF WORLD TELEVISION CHAMPION! J! C! KEETON!!!!!
{“Born Legendary” begins to play over the PA as JC Keeton, just out of adrenaline, musters the strength to raise his arms into the air in success. Blue Shoes goes to get the championship as both of the competitors are dragging themselves to their feet and are on their knees in front of each other sharing their own words. Ulf manages to be the first to his feet, and takes the championship from Blue Shoes… he gives it a longing gaze as JC Keeton also stands up, and Ulf nods his head a few times before holding it out for JC. JC takes it happily, and Ulf raises one of his arms as Blue Shoes raises his other arm! The pose is held for several seconds until JC Keeton and Ulf Hednir both leave the ring. }
Vasco Dias: JC Keeton seems like he’s on cloud nine. Finally a champion!
Terri Morasco: It was the fight of his life, and he did it.
{Both of them go over to JC’s family, where Thea is the first to give JC a hug before then reaching for her father. They all talk momentarily, but then Ulf with Thea in his arms walks over to his other friends sitting front row; he holds Thea out for Rori, and Rori takes her, before Ulf climbs over the barricade and scoots in-between both of them despite being covered in sweat. JC Keeton is still celebrating with his own family. }

Briefly lifting her hood to peek at the crowd before roaring to the ceiling and having either side of the ramp explode in Blue Pyro before then marching down to the ring. Terri Morasco: Dakota’s been on a high since getting the belt! She hopes to see off Virginia this evening in prompt fashion Vasco Dias: She’s a paper champion, keeping it warm for real comptetion. {The lights in the arena start to flicker as the intro to “Bitch Better Have My Money” hits the speakers. Smoke pours out onto the stage as Virginia Stepanov steps out. She walks to the head of the ramp, looking around for a moment before she shoots a high front kick into the air to show off and then makes a finger gun with three punctuated ‘shots’ towards the crowd at the appropriate time in the song.
She struts down the ramp, mouth moving to sing along to her entrance as her head bobs along with the song. When she gets to the ring she jumps onto the apron, hanging onto the rope and leaning out towards the crowd, throwing a finger gun with another three shots before she steps through the ropes. She slips her coat off and hangs it in the corner. }Alison Valance: Now entering the ring , The Challenger Standing at 5 foot seven , weighing in at 150 lbs Hailing from New York, New York , Virginia Stepanov! Vasco Dias: AND NEW! All hail the Diamonds Champion! Terri Morasco: Isn’t that a bit premature? Vasco Dias: It’s a certainty She already has one win under her belt against the champ… Make it two. {The two circle each other Dakota keeping her distance as Virginia test at Dakota with a few kicks at her legs and mid-section, Daktoa returns the favour before suddenly closing the distance to lock up with Virginia and toss her to the mat instead of breaking it up. Re closing the distance on Virginia before she can get up into a front facelock before Dakota sprawls out spins to a back mount and then rolls over into crucifix pin }

KICKOUT!! {Virginia aches up and out as Dakota catches the arm to pull Virginia over only for Virginia to get flip up and try and an armbar but Dakota powers out quickly as Virginia pulls the Champion into a crucifix pin } 1!!!
KICKOUT!! {Dakota is a little slower to get up form Virginia and has to duck a Searing Buzzsaw kick that Virginia fires off ass he stands and then advaces with a second kick fom the other leg going for a Question Mark Kick Dakota once again dodges as she’s now at a crouch but Virginia switches stances again to try for a Spinning back kick Dakota manages to once again step into the kick reducing it’s power and accuracy and lays hands on Virginia as she catches the leg and hit a Inverted Dragon Screw torqueing the challenger’s leg a bit Before Virginia rolls away from a follow up grab and drives a kick to push Dakota back }Vasco Dias: Look at the Champ taking the low road! Terri Morasco: Smart Working on the leg given Stepanov’s kicking game. {Virginia doesn’t back off and launches a Superman Elbow after flicking a couple of kicks and the clinches into Dakota with a Muay Thai clinch trying to drive Knees into her head Dakota defends as she throws the odd shot back and pulls back as best she can turning towards the ropes as Virginia starts to dirty box and elbow at Dakota’s forehead and chin as Dakota mages to break free briefly as she clinches Dakota again and Dakota sacrifice some of her position to grip under a knee as it comes in and drives the two of them between the ropes to the Apron Both of them catching the ropes to stop a really nasty spill }Vasco Dias: What’s Bowman doing?! Shenanigans! {The two of them manage to right themselves and Virginia tries to climb back in recognising the unfamiliar territory only for Dakota to grab her again and snaps a hard forearm forcing Virginia to either address the threat or escape, Virginia for her part also notes a lack of space for Dakota to dodge so she snaps a knee to break the two up then a Kick which connects hard with Dakota’s half guard and sends the larger woman back some as the ref counts Virginia presses her advantage now and throws a shuffling push kick to try and send Dakota off the edge of the Ring But Dakota hangs on! }Terri Morasco : Virginia forced to adapt to working on the Apron managing to still pressure the Champion! Vasco Dias: Because she’s the queen! {Virgina sizes up her next kick But Dakota ducks it out of instinct and the kick connects with the Post and Virginia’s face lights up in uncharacteristic wince of Pain and Dakota form he lowered perch Surges forward and upwards to scoop that Freshly kicked Knee and leg back over the top rope forcing Virginia to land with a bend of her knees and favouring her lead leg a bit as Dakota uses a burst of strength to launch over the top rope back into the ring and Shoulderblocking Virginia. }Vasco Dias: It was a trick! Daktoa Tricked her! Boo! Terri Morasco: I don’t think it was intentional but certainly fortuitous Dakota’s trying to remove one of Stepanov’s Main weapons! {Dakota is up first looking to grab Virginia’s leg and trying to apply the Monarch lock however Virginia squares herself out and uses her free leg to upkick and force Dakota to let go a before rolling to her keens and throwing a low sweep against Dakota as she charges forwards and then connects with a standing rising knee strike but has to hold the leg she uses for it as she winces again then rolls into pin }1!!

2!!
KICKOUT!Vasco Dias: What? Terri Morasco: I don’t think Virginia has the strength in her leg for that sort of hold, look how she’s favouring it! {Again the both get up Virginia measured up and switched her stance to go for a Super kick on her less favoured leg, Dakota manages to bat it to one side out of desperation hitting a German Suplex and then as Virginia staggers to her feet and Dakota hots a big scoop slam, pulling Virginia up to sit her up and the hits the GYPSY DANGER before running to for a second King Kong Knee drop, only for Virginia to move out of the way and hop up to start sending strikes as she stays close and Pushes Dakota into the corner and the connects with an In corner Superkick! Backing up to work her leg a liit as she aims at Dakota still in the corner }Vasco Dias: Yes! Get it! Terri Morasco: Virginia with a flurry of offense finally getting some momentum in the match! {Virginia Charges over to try for a flying elbow but is caught mid-air by Dakota who turns to sit Virginia atop the top Rope after catching her she goes to climb up top herself but Virginia is quick to throw heavy Elbows and knees , pushing the bigger woman off the second rope to the mat as Dakota rolls back and Roars! Dakota starts to charge and in a move of utter separation Virginia pushes herself off the second rope and connects with her lead leg in a FINAL Ride bouncing off the Mat as Dakota drops like a stone and holding her Knee some. }Vasco Dias: Cover! Dammit! Cover! Terri Morasco: Virginia makes for the scramble but might have left it too long! 1!!

She's entering a series of codes and numbers when a knock is heard. She clears her throat and opened up the door. }James Gilmore: You okay there, Fi...? { Fiona sighed. }Fiona McFly: I...I don't know anymore. James Gilmore: Look on the bright side, the kid won. Nick Danger won... { She smiled from ear to ear. }Fiona McFly: He's a great young man, got a bright future ahead of him. I...I wish I could be there for him a little bit more. James Gilmore: Hey, you were there for him when he needed it the most. Besides that...I think you were right. Maybe it's for the best that you be a passenger while I take the wheel. After all...you're the one who built All Infamous in the first place -- with your blood, your time, your money. I was...just a passenger myself... Fiona McFly: Oh, JJ... { The Northern Irishwoman pulled up a chair so that her friend can have a seat. }Fiona McFly: When I was on the verge of suicide that night in Tokyo, you came in and stopped me. You, Rob, Steve...you all wanted me to get the help I needed. Then, we went on this wild adventure together...and it saved my life. Vasco Dias: It used to be great, I think Gilmore winning last year is actually what brought on the pandemic. Alison Valance: Introducing first… {Personal Jesus by Lollipop Lust Kill begins to play as red lights begin to flash slowly before lights come up on the stage. As the music swells, dim light begins to come up on the stage, now shrouded with smoke as a pair silhouettes fade into view. As the guitar kicks in hard, the lights flash onto the stage revealing the members of the the Church of Crosse; Jayson in his mask and Gregor in his full regalia. They stand there for a moment gazing into the crowd and taking in their reaction - The pair walk slowly to the ring. }Alison Valance: Making their way to the ring, from the Church of Crosse … they weigh in at a combined five hundred and one pounds … The Modern Day Viking … GREGOR … WIIIIIIINTERRRRR, and the Disciple … JAYSON … MAAAATHEWS! Terri Morasco: This man is intimidating just looking at him. Vasco Dias: Who? Matthews? He’s still the same old screwed up little twig he’s always been. I’ve had bowel movements more intimidating than him. Terri Morasco: No, Gregor Winter! Vasco Dias: Oh, well hell he’s got size and power for days; though I’m surprised he’s saddled his ship up to the Church of Crosse instead of his Viking bro Ulf. Alison Valance: And now for the next participant… {Lost Somebody, by A Tribe Called Ques begins to play and Johnny Somebody runs out from the back slapping hands with the fans all the way up the aisle. He runs around the ring a few times before walking up the steps and stomping the apron a few times before entering the ring and shaking the ropes to hype the crowd. }Alison Valance: From New Albany, Indiana, weighing in at one hundred and eighty-six pounds … JOHNNY ... SOMMMMMMEBODY!!! Terri Morasco: A young man looking to cement his name in the history of IWF. Vasco Dias: He’s my dark horse pick. Terri Morasco: Who’s your actual pick? Vasco Dias: That is what they call a trade secret, Terri. Alison Valance: And now… {The crowd turns its attention toward the entrance area as the drumbeat of Event Horizon begins. ‘You Are Black Hole’ whispers through the speakers, sending a shiver up the spine of the collective audience. From behind the curtain steps Tytus Rost, his face like carved granite as he stares with cold eyes down to the ring.
As he stands at the top of the entrance ramp, Berrick O’Murphy comes bouncing out behind him pointing and yelling, being the literal hype-man for the big Russian. }Alison Valance: Making his way to the ring accompanied by Berrick O’Murphy, weighing three hundred and four pounds … from Mikhailovka, Russia … The Russian Lion … TY-TUSSSSS … RRRRROST!!! {Berrick stands in front of Tytus barking instructions at him all-the-while pointing down to the ring. Rost’s upper lip curls in a sneer as he begins to move with purpose down the ramp with O’Murphy in tow. Making it to the ring, Berrick quickly scales the ring steps and climbs into the ring as Tytus stands on the floor and then leaps up to the apron in a show of agility for a man his size. He wipes his boots on the outside of the ring before stepping in through the ropes and joining O’Murphy in the center of the ring. }Terri Morasco: Gregor is staring daggers at the Russian. Vasco Dias: He can stare all he wants, I hear Rost eats those things for breakfast. Alison Valance: And now… { The opening intro to “Shell Shocked” begins to play as we see a video package showcasing James Gilmore from his early childhood days--via black-and-white home movie footage as well as still photos--to his days as a high school and, later in life, a a student of history at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. }“Knock, knock, you about to get shell shocked Knock, knock, you about to get shell shocked Knock, knock, you about to get shell shocked Knock, knock, you about to get shell shocked…” { We then see distorted images of Gilmore during his early wrestling career, including images from his successful tag-team run on the independent circuit. The images, as well as the song, start to fuzz out like an old analog TV as images from his IWF career flash through before turning itself off. }Alison Valance: Making his way to the ring, from Corpus Christi, Texas, he weighs in at two hundred and five pounds … JAMMMMMES GILLLLLLLMORRRRRE!! The Voice of James Gilmore: “Get your popcorn ready, dudes and dudettes! Time for some good ol’-fashioned entertainment!!” {Suddenly, jets of water burst from all sides as the opening strains to the Offspring classic “Nitro (Youth Energy)” begins to play. As a spotlight shines, we see the image of James Gilmore as he rides onto the stage in a custom-built patriotic-themed Harley-Davidson, complete with "TRUMP 2024" decals and "#MAGA" on his rear license plate. As he revs the motorcycle’s powerful motor, someone emerges from behind the backstage curtain. }Terri Morasco: What on earth … Vasco Dias: Oh, things are about to kick off, Terri! {Eyes locked only on Gilmore, Caleb Lockwood strides confidently towards the Islander alum and swings a chair straight into the back of his head and sending him careening from his motorcycle. }Terri Morasco: He never saw it coming. Vasco Dias: That had to hurt. {The referee, hands on his head, watches as Lockwood drops the chair and begins marching towards the ring. He quickly signals for the bell and gets this match underway as Lockwood slides into the ring and all hell breaks loose.
As the rest of the participants rushed at each other, Gregor and Jayson have Johnny to themselves, as Tytus and Caleb locked up. Winter and Matthews grab hold of Johnny, slamming him chest first into a ladder that had been set up. The ladder, and Johnny, both fall to the canvas. Jayson slides out of the ring and quickly grabs a ladder, sliding it in to the waiting Gregor who takes it and slams it down atop the prone body of Johnny. Matthews slides back into the ring as Gregor climbs to the top rope. He looks behind himself, lining up his shot. Winters steadies himself before flipping backwards from the top rope onto the top of the ladder, sandwiching Johnny. }Vasco Dias: Smart move by dem Crosse boys. But I don’t know who took the brunt of that Weapon of Mass Destruction. Terri Morasco: LOOK OUT! {Caleb Lockwood suddenly appears and slams the head of Tytus Rost right into the announce table, sending him over toward the commentators who scatter away. }Terri Morasco: Could you have given me a heads up? Vasco Dias: I was too busy watching Swan Lake in the ring - I can’t see everyhting, Terri! {As Caleb reaches for Rost, Matthews appears from behind and grabs Lockwood. Caleb, ever the slippery opponent, quickly counters Jayson and sends him forward - slamming his head into the ring post. Winters rolls out of the ring to help but is quickly met with a shot to the face that sends him staggering away as Rost is now back on his feet. }Terri Morasco: Looks like the Church has a few nonbelievers to contend with. Vasco Dias: No. Stop. Terri Morasco: What? I can make quips just as good as yours. {With Rost and Winters paired off, Caleb and Jayson occupied, and Johnny still buried under some ladders in the ring, nobody seems to notice as James Gilmore limps towards the ring holding the back of his head. James looks around and grabs a ladder, sliding it into the ring, and carefully positions it under the briefcase suspended high above the ring. He starts climbing and is half way up as Caleb notices and slides into the ring and starts shaking the ladder. James is forced to grab hold to avoid falling as Caleb lets go, runs to the ropes and smashes into the ladder, both his forearms hitting the aluminum, sending it tumbling down. Being only half way up, James is able to land on his feet, but as his second foot hits the mat, he can’t react in time as he’s hit with a superkick right in the knee. Gilmore drops down and Lockwood follows up with a football style tackle that sends the pair through the ropes and to the outside. }Terri Morasco: Caleb Lockwood is like a man possessed! Vasco Dias: He may have knocked Gilmore out cold. {Back on the other side of the ring, Gregor Winter and Tytus Rost continue to grapple with each other. Both men showing their strength, but Rost aims a side kick to the temple of Gregor, who manages to dodge it, and follows up with a viscous looking lariat that knocks the big Russian into the barricade. }Vasco Dias: Holy cow, what a clothesline! Terri Morasco: He nearly took his head off. Vasco Dias: But it’s still not enough! {Winter quickly rolls back into the ring and tries to right the downed ladder, managing to readjust it under the briefcase. He makes it up about three quarters of the way before Rost rolls into the ring. But before the Russian Lion can do anything Johnny Somebody launches himself right at the Russian … WITH A STEEL CHAIR! He takes one shot at the big man which stuns him. He reels back and cracks him one more time that causes him to stumble backwards into the corner. Somebody turns to see Gilmore inching closer to the briefcase and quickly swings the chair into the back of Gilmore’s legs. James drops down two steps as he reaches back to hold his legs for a moment - but it’s all Johnny needed as he jumps up into the air and swings for the fences crashing the chair into the shoulder and neck of Gilmore who falls sideways from the ladder and now holds both his arm and legs. }Terri Morasco: Somebody is making his mark! Vasco Dias: Yeah, and somebody is about to become a stain on the mat too. {Johnny turns around to find his next victim only to come face to face with Caleb Lockwood who smiles at him, almost taunting him to take a shot with the chair. Johnny obliges and hauls back, but Tytus catches the chair and yanks it from Somebody’s grip and gives Caleb an opening to hit Fading Hope! }Terri Morasco: I think Lockwood just took out Somebody! Vasco Dias: Yeah, I don’t know … that guy is like a more annoying version of the Little Engine that Could. As much as I want to count him out, something tells me I shouldn’t. {Lockwood and Rost now stand alone in the ring eyeing each other for a moment before they’re joined by Matthews and Winter once more. Matthews launches himself at Lockwood and hits him with a huge springboard flying forearm to the jaw that rocks him back into the ropes. Winter and Rost meet up again in the ring and begin trading blows as Gilmore struggles to make it back to his feet. James is back up and he goes for Lockwood, hitting him with a kick in the midsection before jumping up and hitting a picture perfect dropkick that sends the Church of Crosse member backwards into the nearby. James laughs and gives Jayson the ‘hang-loose’ hand gesture before laying the boots to him. Gregor breaks apart from Rost and goes for the save, but Rost is having none of it and spins him around and delivers a stiff European uppercut that sends him right into the opposite corner. Rost follows Winter in and continues to lay the hands to him until Gregor looks to be on noodle legs.
Rost pulls Gregor out of the corner and the massive Viking quickly has a burst of energy and reverses their positions. As Rost finds his footing, Gregor half connects with a standing big boot that only connects with part of Rost’s upper torso. Winter slaps himself in the face and utters a war cry as Gilmore lunges forward and nearly decapitates him with a devastating Power Wave! }Terri Morasco: Holy crap! Vasco Dias: He may have broken his neck! {Gilmore looks around him at the bodies in the ring. The Church of Crosse members are momentarily compromised, as is Johnny Somebody, but both Rost and Lockwood are on their feet and heading his way. Rost gets there first and connects a hard right hand to the side of Gilmore’s head and knocks him backwards into Lockwood. Caleb grabs Gilmore and attempts a reverse neckbreaker, but the Islander alum groups at Calab’s face and manages to sneak free.
Rost is setting up a second ladder as Gilmore and Lockwood now lock up and begin jockeying for position. Gilmore manages to scoot behind and lock a sleeper hold onto the former World champion. Rost, ignoring the others begins grabbing a third and forth ladder from the outside and slides them back in as Caleb struggles to break free of Gilmore’s hold. }Terri Morasco: James Gilmore cutting off that precious air supply to Caleb Lockwood! Vasco Dias: Idiot can win a ladder match with a submission move! Terri Morasco: Caleb can’t knock him off the ladder if he’s passed out, Vasco. Vasco Dias: Well crap … you may be on to something. {Lockwood appears to be fading and Tytus moves to head back into the ring when Jayson Matthews hits a baseball slide onto a ladder, driving it straight into the Russian’s face. Rost collides with the barricade and Matthews and Winter go to work. They each begin climbing up the centermost ladder … }Vasco Dias: Looksl like the Church of Crosse don’t care who wins the match as long as it's one of them! {They make it two thirds of the way up when both Johnny Somebody and James Gilmore meet them. Gilmore begins pounding away at the back of Winter as Johnny climbs up beside Matthews and drives an elbow into the former banana loving superstar’s temple. In the blink of an eye, Somebody hooks his arms around Matthews’ head and swings him out from the ladder with a gruesome looking sheerdrop brainbuster! Both men are struggling after that maneuver and unable to see what’s coming next. Gregor manages to fight off Gilmore and climbs another rung up the ladder only to careen off with the Alaskan Gold Rush splash off the ladder onto both Matthews and Somebody. }Terri Morasco: Oh god … their ribs! Vasco Dias: Dollars to donuts one of those men is coughing up blood tonight, Terri! {Winter gets back to his feet and begins climbing the ladder once more. Lockwood crawls his way to the ladder as Winter makes it to the two-thirds mark on his assent. Caleb starts climbing to join him and is within striking distance as Gregor reaches his arm out towards the suspended briefcase. Caleb thrusts his arm upwards and connects with the Viking jewels, doubling the big man over across the top of the ladder. Caleb looks at Gregor, then behind him at the canvas below before scaling up and climbing onto Gregor’s shoulders. Lockwood leans backwards and hits a reverse frankensteiner on Gregor. }Vasco Dias: Ladies and gentlemen, I would like to say that both men are most probably dead now. We thank you for watching, goodnight! Terri Morasco: Poison Pill from the top of the ladder! {The fans go silent until Lockwood begins to move, then erupting into a cacophony of cheers. Caleb crawls into the corner, a smile on his face as he watches the big Russian reach down to pull Gilmore back to his feet once more. He throws Gilmore into the ropes, catching him on the rebound and drilling him down to the mat with an Ursa Major that knocks all the air from the two-time World champion’s lungs.
Tytus steps over Gilmore and makes for the ladder once more. He begins climbing the ladder as Caleb crawls his way out of the corner and meets him on the opposite side. Rost makes it to the top of the ladder first and begins reaching for the briefcase, his fingers brushing the side of it as Caleb makes it to the top and sends a hard left hand into the midsection of Rost. The pair begin to brawl at the top of the ladder, neither one willing to give an inch. The ladder begins to sway and Caleb reaches down to steady himself momentarily and Rost sees his opening. With agility not becoming a man of his size, he scales to the to of the ladder and slides down the back of Lockwood, catching him on the way down and pulling him free from the ladder in the process. Rost holds tight and hits the Last Czar powerbomb onto Lockwood. }Vasco Dias: And that would be the end of Caleb Lockwood’s participation tonight, Terri. Terri Morasco: I don’t know how much more of this I can take! {Rost makes it back to his feet and is suddenly accosted by Gilmore. The pair brawl their way into the ropes before spilling to the outside. James tries to throw the big Russian into the barricade, but Tytus out muscles him and send Gilmore instead. Tytus lunges forward with a European uppercut that lifts Gilmore off his feet and over the top of the barricade. Rost turns back to the ring just in time to see Johnny Somebody sailing through the ropes and into his face.
The pair fall to the floor as, back in the ring, Gregor and Jayson are both struggling back to their feet. They eye the still downed Lockwood and scoop him up to dispose of him. Caleb rakes the eyes of Gregor who drops him quickly. In a fit of rage, Winter unleashes a devastating lariat that misses Lockwood and hits Matthews instead. Jayson hits the canvas and doesn’t move as Gregor realizes what he’s done. He turns on the spot and is met with a superkick to the knee that drives him down to the canvas. The viking doesn’t have much time to think about what comes next as Lockwood follows up with a huge curb stop, bouncing Winter’s head off the canvas and leaving the viking next to his stablemate.
Caleb turns and places a hand on the ladder, struggling to get his legs to move. On the outside, Rost disposes of Somebody, nearly throwing him under the ring when he sees Lockwood climbing the ladder. Tytus reaches up and grabs the bottom rope to pull himself back into the ring when Gilmore comes flying back with the Wipeout! Only, his attempted headscissor takedown is caught by Rost who swings Gilmore into the ring stairs, knocking them loose from their footing. James lays on the outside mat as Tytus quickly looks back towards the ring as, unmolested, Caleb Lockwood reaches up and frees the briefcase from its chain.
Rost slams his hands on the mat in anger, turning his head to where Gilmore lays prone. }Alison Valance: Here is your winner of the Joker in the Pack Match … CALEB LOCKWOOOOOOD! {“Rise, Rebel, Resist” blares throughout the stadium as Caleb sits atop the ladder looking down at the carnage in the ring. Eyeing Rost as he looks up at him, frustration and anger etched on his face. EMTs swarm the area, checking on the other competitors who all look like they’ve been through a war. }Vasco Dias: HOLY CRAP, LOCKWOOD DID IT. HE’S THE JOKER IN THE PACK WINNER! Terri Morasco: The winner of tonight’s World title match had better watch out. Caleb Lockwood is coming! {The scene fades on Caleb sat atop the ladder as we get ready for the next match. }------------------------------------- GAUNTLET MATCH Eternity wins: Wild Card match stip Rowan wins: Keys to make any match NO DQ Jess wins: Fiona McFly vs The Dark Triad -------------------------------------
{Cut to the announcer table. Vasco Dias and Terri Morasco introduce us to the next contest on the biggest show of the IWF calendar year. The crowd remains electric as they have been all night. }
Terri Morasco: Up next, we have a match some would consider an absolute travesty. A disgusting show of power and privilege by the owner of this company as he forces a woman who is coming off a near career ending injury to run a gauntlet against three of the biggest names in the Women’s Division today…
Vasco Dias: I see somebody’s brought into the McFly propaganda. Mr Verona isn’t forcing anybody to do anything, Fiona didn’t honour the terms of her contract, and now there are consequences. Miss McFly brought this on herself, but there is one thing I will absolutely agree with you on, and that this match really is a travesty…
Terri Morasco: Really? Wow, this is turning into a memorable night already, you almost never agree with me…
Vasco Dias: Why wouldn’t I? The real travesty is that unlike a regular Gauntlet Match that would end far quicker, we are being forced to sit here and call three consecutive Fiona McFly matches. Win or lose, Fiona has to compete in each match here tonight.
Terri Morasco: I should have known…
Vasco Dias: Allow me to take a moment to publicly apologise to Mr Verona for whatever I did wrong that has brought this darkness upon me. I promise it will never happen again…
Terri Morasco: Speaking of Mr Verona, there are a number of unique stipulations and implications tied to each of Fiona’s matches that were outlined last week on Sacrifice. Let us take you back to show you how we got here…
{Cut to video package recapping Verona’s Match Announcement. }
~~Roberto Verona: You want the Triad? They’re all yours… one after the other… but I don’t play without the thrill of a risk so lets make this interesting… shall we? Each fall will have a stake attached, something each of these women deeply desires… but I’ll let them choose for themselves…
Verona smiles again.
Roberto Verona: As for you… if you can pin all three? I’ll officially endorse your little side project, I mean licensing, funding, the works, I’ll even give you that contract you’ve always wanted with creative freedom. Hell, I am even a fair man, if you can’t beat them all… well, each woman you do pin will be at your disposal for your academy as you see fit.
The crowd pops as Fiona nods, Verona turns to walk away before stopping, raising a finger in the air.
Roberto Verona: I almost forgot… how silly of me… if you lose all three Fiona… you’re mine, to do with as I please, when I please. No escaping your contract, no riding into the sunset, you will bend the knee and submit. You want the Triad? Those are the terms. Three falls. No holds barred. Let’s see just how much of a fighter you really are… ~~
{Cut to the ring where Alison Valance stands. A smile on her face as she raises the microphone to her lips. }
Alison Valance: Ladies and Gentleman, the following contest is a Special Rules Gauntlet Match scheduled for three falls. In this contest, there will be no count outs or disqualifications and will continue until each fall has been declared. There will also be no rest periods between each fall…
Terri Morasco: There is no doubt that the deck has been well and truly stacked against poor Fiona McFly this evening…
Vasco Dias: Poor? Have you seen her swanning about in her brand new custom Aston Martin? She seems to acquire the latest model every year, so excuse me if I’m not about to be suckered into the narrative that she’s at some unfortunate disadvantage on this of any other evening...
{ The lights go out, and we see a combination of eerie green lighting and fog fill the entire arena. Suddenly, a dancer, clad in green, walks onto the stage and performs a tap dance routine to an original Celtic piece, stopping to look at herself in front of a giant mirror--which projects an image of a very young Fiona McFly, aged seven, standing in front of a proud Royal Navy sailor as the first excerpt from the final tweet given by famed actor Leonard Nimoy is shown on the big screen above. }
"A life is like a garden..."
{ As the music increases in intensity, a second dancer, sporting a silver uniform, performs a slightly longer version of the same tap dance routine until stopping to look at the mirror--which then projects Fiona as a preteen, posing with her first go-kart racing trophy she'd won in the summer of 1994 at the age of 12. The second excerpt from the "Star Trek" legend's tweet is shown as the photo in the mirror fades into nothingness... }
"Perfect moments can be had, but not preserved..."
{ A third dancer, wearing a gold uniform, walks onto the stage to join the other two in a frenzied "Lord of the Dance"-style routine as the music reaches its crescendo. At this point, all three dancers stop to look at the mirror once again--this time, it projects an image of Fiona sporting blonde hair, wearing her old University of Wisconsin, followed by a photo of her beating up on Ana Valentine, her first IWF opponent, as the final except for Nimoy's tweet is displayed. }
"...except in memory."
{ As the dancers begin their final tap dance, the four different photographs, all black-and-white, fade in and out as the tune reaches its climax before coming to a stop. The trip walks over to the end of the stage to grab a giant mallet; as a group, they carry the object over and, with all their combined strength, aim it directly at the glass, which shatters into pieces. At this moment, the clean version of Halestorm's "Love Bites (So Do I)" begins to play as Fiona McFly, with a gold-hued whip in hand, leaps through the busted mirror, prompting pyrotechnics to go off as a shower of confetti rains down from the ceiling. }
"Don't listen what your girlfriend says She reads those magazines That say you fail the test You don't have what she needs I'll slither like a viper And get you by the neck I know a thousand ways to help you forget about her That chick can eat her heart out
Love bites, but so do I, so do I Love bites, but so do I, so do I Love bites..."
{ With the dancers tapping to her entrance theme, Fiona smiles lovingly before joining the dancers for a routine of her own before walking down to the ring, hugging fans along the way as the lights come back on. Before stepping into the ring, Fiona gives the whip to a lucky soul as a souvenir. }
Vasco Dias: And this ridiculously extravagant entrance just further proves my point. She’s giving away golden whips like candy. Fiona has no idea what being truly poor and downtrodden really is. Her privileged backside should be thanking Mr Verona for providing the resources and platform for all of this here tonight, not condemning him as some power hungry corrupt billionaire…
Terri Morasco: As we understand it, three time Iron Maiden and former four time Women’s World Champion, Eternity will be starting this match. Most would consider that to be drawing the shortest straw possible...
{The lights in the arena go out as "Die Young" by Ke$ha hits the PA system and the crowd go nuts. Strobe lighting begins to flash in various colours around the arena as Jessica Reed emerges from behind the curtain to a standing ovation. }
Vasco Dias: Not so fast, Terri. Maybe Jess is out here to end Fiona’s night early…
Terri Morasco: I don’t think so, I think she’s out here just to watch...
{Jess smiles and waves to the fans before steadying herself for a gentle sprint to the ring, slapping the hands of fans as she goes much to their delight. Fiona is champing at the bit for Jess to get in the ring, but Jess simply shakes her head, holding up the reinforced mask she hasn’t put on yet so obviously she isn’t ring ready.
Jess instead grabs a chair from ring side and sits herself down beside the announce desk, placing her mask in her lap. Fiona hasn’t taken her eyes off Jess for what feels like forever. }
{The lights go out completely.
Heeheeheeheeheeheeheehuhuhuhuhuhuhuhuhuhuhuhuhuhuhuhuhehehehehehehehehehehehehahahahahahahahahahahahaahaahaahaahaahaahaahaahaahaahaahaa...
The soft chilling female laughter changes the atmosphere in the arena completely before the soft opening keys lead a procession of bright white starlights to twinkle in time with them. As more time passes, drums march alongside the keys. After a short while, the heavier instruments take over in leading the procession. Over a minute passes before the lyrics to “Death Incarnate” by Eleine begin to herald her arrival. The lights shift, as the stars are extinguished, replaced by sombre blue strobe lights, which provide just enough illumination for us to see the purple coloured smoke slowly gathering to cloud the entranceway.
Eternity emerges from within the cloud of colourful smoke. There is a mixed reaction from the adults, but the children seem to fear the shadowy woman who is wearing a white hat and veil over her face. Her head bowed, in remembrance of all those that have fallen before her as she seems to lightly bounce halfway down the ramp.
She stops in the middle of the ramp and takes a bow, taking her veiled white hat off and posing with it in her outstretched arms. She continues her journey down the ramp, skipping and carrying her hat in her right hand. She slides under the bottom rope into the ring and when she reaches the centre, she transitions into a skip, over to the turnbuckle where she hangs her hat on a ringpost, patting it.
She then skips to the middle of the ring and falls to her knees, keeping her head bowed for a moment and her eyes closed. She tilts her head back and slowly opens her eyes to the heavens. This gesture now triggers the lights to slowly be raised back up to normal levels as her music starts to fade away.
It takes a moment for Fiona to set aside her apprehension and prepare herself for the first fight in what could be a very long night for the former two time Iron Maiden and former Women’s World Champion.
The bell rings and the two women meet nose to nose, Fiona immediately kicks Eternity in the gut, twists and nails her with the Screecher, rechristened the Phoenix Down, in tribute to her departed husband Jack Gaither! }
Terri Morasco: Phoenix Down! Phoenix Down! Phoenix Down!
Vasco Dias: Calm down, Terri, it’s not that impressive!
{As if Vasco’s words were prophetic, Eternity rolls across the ring from the impact, flipping and bouncing right back to her feet. She meets Fiona again who this time tries to nail her with another signature move from her arsenal, the Chelsea Clutch, but Eternity twirls out of it, spinning Fiona on her heels into a gut kick and a Thunder Struck that would surely make Spike Kane smile. }
Vasco Dias: Thunder Struck! Thunder Struck! Thunder Struck!
Terri Morasco: Hypocrisy thy name is Dias.
{Fiona goes down and Eternity rather than try for a cover or anything, winks at Jess and curtsies for the electric crowd. She then turns and lifts the deadweight of Fiona up, dragging her slowly back to her feet. }
Vasco Dias: Fiona looks out of it here…
Terri Morasco: She certainly does, and this is only the first of three trials she must endure here tonight. By the grace of God, at least Eternity looks to be keeping this one short and sweet…
Vasco Dias: I don’t think that’s entirely for Fiona’s benefit as much as it is self preservation. This is the first of two matches for Eternity here tonight as well. The sooner she ends this, the more time she will have bought herself before her World Championship match against Tara Fenix in our co main event of the evening…
Terri Morasco: Thank Heaven for small mercies then, I guess…
{Eternity then plants Fiona directly on her head with a beautiful Death Knell, doing no favours for her surgically repaired neck. Eternity crawls into a cover, hooking the leg...1...2...3! }
Vasco Dias: Well, perhaps inevitably, Eternity wins her first match of the night in quick, decisive fashion...
Terri Morasco: I wish I could say the night was over for Fiona, but she’s got to go through another two matches immediately after this…
Alison Valance: Your Winner...EEETERRRNNNIIITYYY!
{The bell rings signifying the end of the first fall. The lights shift immediately from a brief somber blue in which Eternity kneels beside her fallen opponent to a complete blackout for a few tense moments of being lost in the abyss of existence. A soft distant wolf howl echoes around the arena. The lights then shift to the blood red of Hell and Rowan MacDonnough stands over the fallen Fiona, overshadowing her entirely.
Eternity has disappeared. }
Vasco Dias: Not a moment to breathe as we’re rolling right into our next match!
{The lights remain dimmed and red, reducing visibility for Fiona as if she wasn’t already at enough of a disadvantage. If Rowan was going to play with her food, she might as well make it fun for herself and show Fiona that no matter what, Rowan was always in control. }
Terri Morasco: This isn’t good at all, remember Rowan once set Fiona on fire just because she could. Fiona could be in for a repeat depending on what kind of mood she’s in tonight…
Vasco Dias: I can never tell, but it’s safe to say I’d never describe any of Rowan’s moods as charitable…
{With an almost too easy sense about her, Rowan pulls Fiona right into her hands and twists her surgically repaired neck at an unnatural angle with a Burning Hatred neck snap. Rowan grins as Fiona collapses before shaking her head slowly. }
Terri Morasco: The surgically repaired neck is an obvious target for Rowan tonight…
Vasco Dias: Of course it is. What else did Fiona honestly expect when in her hubris she not only announced the injury but publicly streamed the surgery for the world to see. If you’re going to show the world your scars, you’re just inviting somebody as malicious as Rowan to exploit them for the weaknesses they are…
Terri Morasco: I get it, you’re notches biggest fan of Fiona McFly...
Vasco Dias: Can you blame me? She’s dragged my good name through the mud often enough. This is cathartic for me. I hope Rowan puts her out of her misery and mine, frankly…
Terri Morasco: She’s still a human being, surely she deserves some compassion…
Vasco Dias: I’m perfectly compassionate...to people who haven’t proven themselves time and time again to be completely out of touch with reality and who aren’t blinded by their own ego and narcissism…
{Rowan is in no hurry at all to end Fiona’s misery or the match. Basking in her total control of the situation and her completely unworthy opponent, Rowan pulls Fiona to her feet only to chain together several MMA style strikes and uppercuts. Fiona tries to keep up with her own MMA strikes and kicks, but they do little to phase the fresher Wolf of the Abyss who takes everything Fiona has and answers with even more power. It takes surprisingly little to drive a woozy Fiona back across the ring. Every time it looks like Fiona is going to collapse to the mat, Rowan pauses her onslaught to pull her back up and keep her standing. }
Terri Morasco: God help anybody who thinks they can trade blows with a Devil like Rowan…she’s one of the most deadly strikers we have in IWF today…
Vasco Dias: She certainly is and unfortunately for Fiona, the no holds barred nature of this match has given an apex predator like Rowan MacDonnough the one thing you never want to give The Wolf of The Abyss: The freedom to inflict as much pain and suffering as she wants, for as long as she wants…
{Eventually it is obvious to everyone watching, even Jess that Fiona is little more than a living, breathing punching bag. Up against the ropes both literally and figuratively, Fiona hasn’t had a chance to mount any sort of useful offence since the vicious neck snap, a move that Rowan usually uses to set up her finishes. Playing it as her very first move had caught Fiona completely unaware and exposed just how truly unprepared she was for the She Wolf of the Abyss, especially when she had a point to prove.
That point was simple: Fiona McFly was never a worthy opponent.
At ring side Jess sighs as she puts her mask on, but doesn’t tie it up. She didn’t want Rowan to take Fiona out completely, and was conflicted about stepping in to hopefully signal to Rowan that it was enough and that she should put her away. Rowan however simply looks over at Jess with a smile and a small shake of her head.
The skilled kicks, knee strikes and punches have worn down Fiona enough that she is now on her knees, completely at the mercy of the Devil herself. Rowan finally backs up a few steps, but not to show Fiona any kind of relent, only to deliver a wicked Balor’s Gaze superkick. }
Terri Morasco: Sweet Lord! Please tell me it’s over!
Vasco Dias: With Balor’s Gaze, it usually is!
{The force of Rowan’s signature superick has busted Fiona open, blood pours down the former Women’s World Champion’s face, and it is not immediately clear if it’s coming from Fiona’s forehead or her nose. }
Vasco Dias: Fiona dons the proverbial crimson mask!
Terri Morasco: You don’t have to sound quite so excited about it, you know!
{Rowan drags Fiona away from under the ropes. She drops down for the cover, apparently her bloodlust finally satiated. Rowan glares at Jess who is finally doing up her mask with some sense of relief. Rowan mouths “You’re welcome “ to Jess as she hooks the leg…
1...2...Rowan breaks her own cover attempt...shaking her head suddenly. }
Terri Morasco: Enough is enough, damn it, you’ve already won. What more can you possibly accomplish?
Vasco Dias: Maybe she wants to set her ass on fire again…
Terri Morasco: Please don’t even joke about that…
{Rowan then seamlessly transitions from Pinfall attempt to submission as she locks in her signature Eater of Souls submission. Fiona is clearly screaming, even though they are muffled as her gullet is restricted. Nodding her head, as only as much as Rowan would allow. Fiona was less an opponent and more a puppet. One the whole world saw, Rowan was in complete control of on the grandest stage of all.
The official uses their discretion to rule that Rowan has won the fall via submission. Finally doing what Rowan was unwilling to do herself and declared an end to Fiona McFly’s suffering.
Rowan glares at the referee a moment, amused by the fear in them she suddenly inspired. After a few moments, Rowan simply nods and the lights go out. When they return again, a faint wisp of red smoke is all that remains of Rowan’s presence. }
Alison Valance: Your Winner...by Submission...ROWAN MACDONNOUGH!
Vasco Dias: The Abyss devours another soul!
Terri Morasco: Who knows how much worse it could have gotten if the official hadn’t made the call there...
{The time keeper is about to ring the bell to start the third and final match of Fiona’s already draining night. But Jess gets up and asks them to delay it for at least a few moments . She wants to give Fiona enough time to recover her bearings before wrestling.
The time keeper nods and passes on the request to Alison Valance. Alison gets up and raises the microphone to her lips. }
Alison Valance: Ladies and Gentlemen, by special request, there will now be a ninety second recovery break before the final match in this gauntlet series.
Jess smiles and nods, warming up on the outside whilst Fiona is allowed to gather her bearings inside the ring. Some ring crew even help Fiona clean up a little whilst Jess hops, jumps and paces outside the ring.
Vasco Dias: Does Jess even have the authority to request these things?
Terri Morasco: Unlike most of her colleagues, Jessica Reed still believes in a fair fight. At least this way Fiona has a little respite before she has to wrestle the final and some would say, most important match of the night for these two women. They’ve had their issues for almost a year now, one way or another, this will be settled. Jess just wants to make sure whatever happens, Fiona has the best shot given the circumstances.
Vasco Dias: Only a fool is more concerned with a fair fight than winning in my book, showing this kind of mercy could come back to bite Jessica Reed in the ass…
Terri Morasco: Wouldn’t be the first time. It’s nice to see somebody around here still has a set of morals worth a damn.
{Fiona insists she’s fine and can continue as the ring crew who were assisting her disperse. She yells for Jess to come and settle their issues once and for all. Jess nods slightly before sliding under the bottom rope into the ring. As soon as Reed finds her feet, the two women start circling each other slowly.
The referee calls for the bell to officially begin the third and final portion of the gauntlet match, and Jess locks up with Fiona. A clear and very different pace to this match when compared to the previous two when Jess hooks Fiona up and lifts to deliver a snap Suplex. She then rotates her hips, and delivers a second. A third rotation and a third Suplex to complete the trifecta and the wind has been driven out of Fiona. }
Terri Morasco: It’s almost refreshing to see something resembling a real wrestling match come out of this after the savage beating by Rowan.
Vasco Dias: Move finesse is overrated, all you really need to do to be a success in this business is to knock your opponent off their feet for three seconds. It doesn’t really matter how you get it done.
Terri Morasco: That feels like a gross oversimplification, but I suppose of her three opponents here tonight, if anybody was going to give her a pure wrestling match without any of the bullshit, it was inevitably going to be Jessica Reed.
Vasco Dias: I know, it’s disgusting, isn’t it?
{Rather than exploit any obvious head or neck attacks like her “sisters” had done previously, Jess follows up her advantage by keeping Fiona grounded. She had a tremendous sense of pride and decency about her craft, often mistaken for naivety, and as such wanted to win as fairly as she could given the circumstances. For Jess, trying to lock in a Reverse Fujiwara Armbar was about proving she could outwrestle her opponent. }
Terri Morasco: If Jess locks this in, it could be all over. I’m not sure how much Fiona has left.
Vasco Dias: Hopefully not much…
{Almost as if in direct defiance of Vasco however, Fiona demonstrates once more her incredible resilience and the kind of tenacity that won her the Women’s World Championship on this very stage a year ago, by countering the submission attempt into a small package, pinning Jess’ shoulders to the mat and hoping to catch her off guard...1...2...unfortunately for Fiona, Jess is far too fresh and much too experienced. Jess shifts to counter the counter, pinning Fiona...1...2. Fiona is far too stubborn not to utilise any of the adrenaline she has left to counter again into the third quick Pinfall attempt...1...2...Jess this time breaks it up entirely. It was obvious she’d have to try something else. }
Terri Morasco: A series of impressive quick near falls being exchanged by the two former Women’s World Champions there…
Vasco Dias: Okay, I’ll admit it, I’m surprised Fiona is still in this, still fighting…
{Jess finds her feet and in an impressive show of absolute sportsmanship actually reaches out and helps Fiona back to her feet. Fiona repays the act by pulling Jess in and dropping her with a beautiful Belly to Back Suplex. }
Vasco Dias: Once again Jess being forced to pay for her kindness, you’d think she’d have learned to bend her morals a little by now in that ring…
Terri Morasco: According to Fiona that’s exactly the problem. Jess has sacrificed her morals by throwing herself in with Eternity and Rowan…
Vasco Dias: Ah so, it’s the same shit Andrew Jacobsen gets as part of Those Damn Cajun, got ya…remember kids, morally nice people cannot ever have questionable friends in this business...what a delightfully naive worldview that is…
{Fiona once more tries for a cover, looking to end it quickly. She’s had a long, exhausting night already. Jess is forced to expend more of her own energy, kicking out at two. Fiona gets absolutely frustrated and slaps the canvas whilst glaring at the official.
Left with no choice, Fiona pulls Jess up to her feet once more and spins her around, nailing a picturesque and patented Chrono Trigger. }
Terri Morasco: Vintage Fiona McFly! What a manoeuvre!
Vasco Dias: Yeah, but it will only really mean something if she can capitalise…
{Fiona hooks the leg but once more only gets a two count. The shock and absolute disgust on McFly’s face tells a story. It should have been over. Unlike with her previous two matches of the evening, Fiona had a chance to actually wrestle her opponent fair and square. She shouldn’t be struggling, she knew she was better than Jessica Reed. Better than the Dark Triad. The fact she was this deep into this gauntlet and still putting up a fight proved it.
Nothing would come between her and her moment of triumph. The moment she had waited for for months, ever since Jessica Reed returned at Lineage and hit her with a pipe, a cheap shot. It was time to get even. This was her moment.
Fiona gets a glint in her eye as she hops out of the ring quickly. She searches under the ring apron and after a few moments pulls out a dented steel pipe. The crowd erupt in a thoroughly split reaction as Fiona holds the weapon of choice in the air. Her last resort, a chance to get even on the grandest stage. A chance to show the world and all her students that true justice could be found in the old adage of “What goes around, comes around.”
Fiona hops back on the apron and through the ropes, twirling the pipe in her hands as she stalks Jessica Reed. Jess is slow to her feet and Fiona swings wildly at the back of Reed’s skull. }
Terri Morasco: Payback from Lineage here!
Vasco Dias: Alright, you don’t have to sound quite so excited about it, you know...
{The reinforced mask does its job and absorbs most of the incoming impact, but the force causes Jessica to spin right into a Chelsea Cutter. Fiona drops the pipe and tries to transition into the clutch part of her move. Jess, fuelled by her own adrenaline and instinct to survive, fights to prevent it. Pulling Fiona down into a small package instead...1...2…somehow, some way, Fiona manages to survive! }
Vasco Dias: Incredible!
Terri Morasco: How much more can these women possibly give here tonight?
{Jess separates herself from Fiona but doesn’t allow herself to get too frustrated or lose focus as she lifts a drained Fiona into her hands free airplane spin, the ROFLCopter!
After this incredible display of shoulder strength, Jess immediately lifts a now woozy and dazed Fiona into a LOLiDrop Brainbuster. Dropping Fiona on her head and neck, folding her up like an accordion on impact as she covers...1...2...3! }
Vasco Dias: Jess Reed has done it!
Terri Morasco: And mercifully all three of Fiona’s trials set by Roberto Verona for tonight have concluded with that victory…
Vasco Dias: For now at least…
Alison Valance: Here is your winner...JESSICA REED!
{Jess doesn’t seem to celebrate, instead she shakes her head softly. The lights flicker briefly and when they return Jess is gone and Fiona is still laid out. }
------------------------------------- IWF WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP NO DQ MATCH Violent Tendencies vs Powers That Be(c) ------------------------------------- Alison Valance: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and will be no disqualifications for the IWF WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS!!! Vasco Dias: I’m not sure I’m ready for this match, Terri. Terri Morasco: This is bound to be the most brutal match of the night. Vasco Dias: Violent Tendencies have really stepped their game up a level from the bar brawl crawl with their vicious attacks on Powers that Be. Terri Morasco: They’ve done everything they can to make sure they have the advantage in this match. Vasco Dias: I’ve found in all my years watching Angel and Dean wrestle and fight, they tend to be more dangerous when people count them out. Terri Morasco: Violent Tendencies may have dug their own grave tonight. { The camera takes a long shot of the entryway as the arena darkens and purple laser lights are cast upon the entry way with red hues. "Shitlist" begins to blare before Terrella and Diamond make their entrance to either side of Portia. They take a few steps before stopping to stand side-by-side-byside on the stage, Terrella on the left and Diamond on the right, Portia in the center. She places her left hand on Terrella's right shoulder and runs her right hand down his chest and abdomen as he lowers his glasses down the bridge of his nose before turning for a kiss. Chris swings his barbed wire bat around before resting it on his shoulder }Alison Valance: Coming down the aisle, being accompanied by Portia... Weighing in at a combined 545 pounds.. The King of Clubs... Stephen Terrella!... The Main Man... Chris Diamond! They are... VIOLENT TENDENCIES! { Terrella re-positions his sunglasses and begins a slow walk toward the ring arm-in-arm with Portia as Chris struts alongside. As the tandem reach the bottom of the stairs Terrella and Portia release arms. Terrella removes his sunglasses as the song picks up in intensity, surveying the arena for a few seconds with an intense stare and menacing scowl before handing his glasses to Portia and charging up the stairs and into the ring. Chris rolls in under the bottom rope and pushes himself up with his bat as the two members of Violent Tendencies stand front and center in the ring. }Vasco Dias: Look at this pairing. Against literally any other team on the roster I would chalk these two up as the odds on winners. Terri Morasco: Violent Tendencies is absolutely incredibly impressive. But against Angel Blake and Dean Harper? Former Men’s World Champions? One is already in the Hall of Fame and the other is definitely in the discussion so young into his career? Bum arm or not, this is going to be an uphill battle for Violent Tendencies. { The lights in the arena go out as Mission Statement by Stone Sour begins to play. A spot light shines down upon the entrance ramp highlighting Angel Blake and Dean Harper. The two stand side by side with their arms out stretched before pyro fires off all around them. }Alison Valance: Making their way to the ring. They are the reigning IWF WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS! Weighing in tonight at a combined 410 pounds… Angel Blake! Dean Harper! POWERS THAT BE!!! { The father and son pairing head toward the ring as the crowd boos. Angel and Dean each take a different side of the ring and climb up before facing the crowd with their outstretched arms and the whole arena being engulfed in light. When the lighting returns to normal they are both in the ring and ready to fight. }Vasco Dias: Angel and Dean are the first World Tag Team Champions, they’ve been unbeaten since the tag team world cup. Could tonight, on the grandest stage of them all, be when their reign finally ends? Terri Morasco: It’s entirely possible but somehow I don’t feel like it’s likely. Vasco Dias: A rare definitive stance from Terri Morasco. Terri Morasco: It’ll be a hell of a contest where literally anything can happen. { Blue Shoes is the referee for this match but before he even has a chance to take the belts from Dean and Angel, Chris and Stephen launch out of their corners and attack Power that Be! }Vasco Dias: Not even waiting for the bell! Terri Morasco: Going for yet another easy advantage! { Blue Shoes calls for the bell as the four men start slugging it out in the center of the ring. Stephen quickly gets the upper hand in a fist fight against Dean and sends him tumbling backward with a haymaker punch. Angel and Chris on the other hand is more even matched at first until Diamond clubs Blake in the wrapped up left arm! }Vasco Dias: Dean got the short end of the stick in that fist fight! Terri Morasco: And Chris going right for the wrapped up left arm of Blake! Vasco Dias: Angel has a big old bullseye wrapped around his arm right now! { Terrella follows Dean out of the ring but Harper comes in with a running two handed palm strike right to the lower sternum dropping Terrella to a knee. Dean fires off a European upper cut to the kneeling Terrella and then a snap dropkick that sends Terrella onto his back! }Vasco Dias: Dean felled the big man! Terri Morasco: Every single part of Dean’s body is a weapon! { Back inside the ring Angel is trying to fight back with some palm strikes with his right hand but Chris is shrugging all of them off. Angel then hits a kick to the side of Chris’ knee that seems to cause him to stutter before following it up with a spinning elbow strike to the jaw of Chris Diamond! }Terri Morasco: Angel is fighting back! Vasco Dias: He seems to be managing that hurt arm. { Dean pulls Terrella up but Stephen comes roaring back with a charging shoulder tackle send Harper back first into the ring post. Stephen then picks Dean up over his shoulders and F5’s Dean straight into the ring post! }Vasco Dias: Terrella going after the midsection of Dean Harper! Terri Morasco: Dean relies on his speed, if he can’t breath then he can’t move! { Angel goes to fire off a Genecide Kick but Chris moves out of the way and just decks Angel with a hard right hand before picking Blake up with an atomic drop followed right up with a clothesline that sends Blake spinning head over heels! }Vasco Dias: It looks like Chris has had enough of Blake! Terri Morasco: Angel needs to rethink his game here. { Stephen pulls Dean up off the floor and hoists him up for a power bomb. Stephen runs the length of the ring and goes to launch Dean into the crowd but Harper slips off and grabs Stephen for a sunset flip. Terrella gets right up but Harper is right there with a leaping double knee strike! }Terri Morasco: Terrella was looking to take Dean out of this match but Harper wasn’t having it! Vasco Dias: Terrella needs to focus on that midsection and not power moves! { Chris Diamond launches Angel Blake into a corner of the ring. Chris charges in looking for a running big boot but Angel moves and Diamond’s leg gets rop hung. Blake moves in fast and grabs the free leg of Chris for a Dragon Screw Leg Whip off the ropes! }Terri Morasco: Oh! Angel may have just taken out the left leg of Chris Diamond! Vasco Dias: That looked brutal! { Harper stands Terrella up and bounces his face off the ring post before slipping behind Terrella and grabbing him with a Russian legsweep into the crowd barrier. Dean pops right up and jumps up onto the ring apron. Dean walks all the way down the length of the ring and then takes off at full speed. Dean flies off the ring apron with a canon ball straight into Stephen Terrella and both bodies go crushing through the crowd barrier! }Vasco Dias: Holy hell! Terri Morasco: Dean Harper looked like a torpedo! Vasco Dias: Terrella has got to be hurting after that! { Angel has the left leg of Diamond and begins to repeatedly kick the knee. Angel then takes the leg and hits a ddt type maneuver on it, damaging that knee even more. Angel goes from that position to a legbar with a heel hook on the left leg as Diamond lets out a scream. }Terri Morasco: Angel is chopping down the tree trunk legs of Chris Diamond! Vasco Dias: Smart move by the hall of famer. { Chris fights his way to the apron and manages to claw himself to the outside and breaks the hold. Chris drop down onto the floor but Angel follows him right out. Angel grabs the left leg again but Diamond punts Angel with his right foot and sends Blake backward into the ring steps. Chris limps his way up to his feet and hits Angel with a Fistful O’ Dollars on the outside! }Vasco Dias: Looks like Diamond isn’t a big fan of limb work! Terri Morasco: Power moves won’t win this match but they will wear your opponent down. { In the crowd now we see Dean dragging Stephen toward the back of the floor crowd. Dean slams the head of Terrella off the barricade to the next crowd level and then whips him into a row of vacated steel chairs. Dean grabs a near by trashcan and just recklessly throws it at Terrella! Dean marches toward Stephen but Terrelle hurls a steel chair top end first right into the face of Dean Harper! }Vasco Dias: OH! That is going to open a nasty gash! Terri Morasco: I don’t think you want Dean Harper seeing his own blood! { Dean is on the ground but blood is pouring from that gash near the top of his forehead. Terrella peels himself out of the wreckage and walks over to Harper. Terrella pulls Dean up and punches him right in the cut opening it up even more. Terrella connects with The Body Shot! Then hoists Dean up onto his shoulder and runs him down the length of the crowd for a spinebuster into some equipment boxes near the right edge of the stage! }Terri Morasco: Terrella is trying to break Dean in half! Vasco Dias: The only way to take Dean out of this match is to kill him! { Diamond separates the steel steps and bounces Angel’s left arm off the unforgiving steel. Diamond then places the left arm of Blake on the lower half of the steps before viciously stomping it! Diamond then takes the arm and places it on the steps again. Diamond grabs the top half of the steps and literally crushes Angel’s arm between the two large, heavy hunks of steel! }Terri Morasco: He may have just broken Angel’s arm! Vasco Dias: That was absolutely brutal! { Angel rolls away clutching his arm but Chris Diamond is hot on his heels with a noticeable limp. Chris grabs Angel by the hair and pulls him up to his feet before launching him arm first into the crowd barrier! Chris then walks up and grabs Angel by the throat and lifting him high up into the air for Hang’em High across the crowd barrier! }Vasco Dias: From his arm to his spine, Chris is breaking down the body of Angel Blake! Terri Morasco: Blake is in a very bad way here, Vasco. Vasco Dias: I’m starting to think Violent Tendencies may win. { Stephen Terrella has Dean by the head as he drags him closer to the stage. Terrella sees some tables set up and drags Dean toward them. Stephen heaves Dean up onto his shoulders and is looking for a Fireman’s carry into the tables but as he goes to sling Dean, Harper grabs the neck of Terrella and throws his body weight connecting with a stunner! }Terri Morasco: Harper fighting back from the brink of death! Vasco Dias: That may have been the end of Harper had Stephen put him through those tables. { Terrella is stunned by the stunner and sees his chance and connects with the Oathbreaker! Dean then pulls Stephen up and rolls him onto the set up tables. Dean then walks off to near the back of the stage and comes back with a twenty foot ladder. Dean sets it up near Terrella and then climbs up. The crowd is roaring as Dean stands on top of the ladder. Dean launches himself off the top of the ladder with Screaming from the Sky and crashes on top of Terrella sending the tables beneath him splintering all over the place!!! }Terri Morasco: Dean may have just taken himself out to take out Stephen Terrella!!! Vasco Dias: That was absolutely insane! Terri Morasco: This may come down to Chris and Angel!? { Chris sends Angel left arm first into the ring post and comes in with a boot but Angel moves and Chris’ kicks the post. Angel turns and goes back to that left leg with a shin kick to the back of the knee. Angel then goes nuts with kicks to that left leg as Chris struggles to try and get away but Angel has him cornered by the crowd barriers now. }Vasco Dias: I think Chris woking up the sleeping dragon in Angel Blake! Terri Morasco: He certainly seems to be fighting through the pain! { Angel backs up then comes in hard with a chop block to that left leg! Angel pops up and grabs the left leg as Chris lays on the mat and just kicks the knee as hard as he possibly can! Angel heads to the ring and pulls a steel chair out from underneath. Angel heads back to Diamond and then unloads with the steel chair over that left knee again and again until the chair starts to fold over. Angel tosses it away but it’s clear it took a toil on his arm as he backs off to try and loosen it up. }Terri Morasco: Blake may be doing more harm than good. Vasco Dias: He did some damage with that chair but not nearly as much as he could have if his arm wasn’t hurt. { Chris stumbles his way up and drags himself away from Angel. Blake turns and sees Chris limping his way around the side of the ring. Angel heads in the opposite direction to catch him. Chris grabs his barbed wire bat and connects with the gut of Angel just as he rounds the corner. Chris then takes the bat and clubs Angel in the left arm! Diamond then takes the bat, cradling it and runs it into the face of Angel Blake! }Vasco Dias: A brutal move by Chris Diamond! Terri Morasco: He just tried to bust open the skull of Angel Blake! { Dean Harper starts to pull himself out of the wreckage now and make his way back through the crowd toward the ring. Stephen starts to stir. Dean hops the barricade and rushes toward Chris who is looking to wallup Angel with the bat again! Dean comes in from behind with a basement dropkick to that left leg! }Terri Morasco: Dean may have just saved the career of his father! Vasco Dias: Diamond was definitely looking for the kill shot. { Dean takes the bat as Chris is on the ground and begins to grind the barbed wire into the face and forehead of Chris Diamond. Angel rolls over onto his hands and knees and is clearly busted open. Diamond is now busted open too as Dean continues to grind his face with that bat. Dean finally stands up and waits for Chris to roll over and then breaks the bat over the back of Chris Diamond! }Vasco Dias: Jesus! Terri Morasco: That was nasty! { Dean discards the bat and pulls Diamond up to roll him back into the ring. Dean pulls himself up onto the apron and climbs to the top rope but Diamond rolls out of his reach. Dean jumps down as Chris sits up in the corner and comes barreling in with a dropkick on Diamond! }Terri Morasco: Dean is keeping the pressure on Chris! Vasco Dias: He needs to take Diamond out before Terrella recovers. { Stephen starts to move out of what is left of the table as Dean is just going to town with right hands on the fallen Diamond. Angel crawls his way into the ring. Dean pulls Chris up and whips him toward Angel, Blake connects with a Genecide kick to a pop from the crowd! Dean comes right in afterward with Product of War! Harper makes the first cover of the match but somehow Chris kicks out at two! }Vasco Dias: I don’t believe it!? How the hell did he kick out!? Terri Morasco: Chris Diamond isn’t dead yet, that’s how. { Stephen is working his way through the crowd as Portia is yelling to him to get back to the ring. Dean pulls Chris up and the Powers that Be look ready to put this match away. But Diamond boots Angel in that arm and quickly hits a back elbow on Harper. Chris hits Dean with Gran Torino and Dean rolls out of the ring. }Terri Morasco: Chris needs Stephen back down here now! Vasco Dias: He’s trying! { Chris and Angel come face to bloody face. Angel gripping that arm, Chris noticeable lopsided. Angel and Chris then start exchanging right hands back and forth. Angel starts to get the upper hand but Terrella has made it back to the ring and hits Angel with the Body Shot! Stephen quickly grabs Angel for the Silver Crush in the corner! }Vasco Dias: Violent Tendencies as reunited in the ring and they have the Blakes down! Terri Morasco: This is going to be close! { Stephen pulls Angel up and sets him up for the Brutalizer. Chris makes his way to the top rope. But Dean comes roaring back and pulls the left leg out from under Chris causing him to drop down on the ropes. Dean quickly scrambles up the ropes and comes over the top of Diamond for a top rope DDT! }Terri Morasco: Look at Harper go! Vasco Dias: His fuel tank is endless! { Stephen hits a fallaway slam on Angel as Dean comes running in with a leaping elbow strike! Dean starts to light Terrella up with elbow strikes! Dean drives Stephen into the corner and starts to kick him in the midsection over and over again before snapmaring him out of the corner. Dean jumps up on the second rope and drops double knees across the chest of Terrella! }Vasco Dias: Dean Harper may single handedly win this match for Powers that Be! Terri Morasco: He’s certainly building up enough momentum! { Dean pulls Terrella up but Chris comes in from behind with a clubbing blow. Dean starts to fight back but Terrella and Chris team up on Dean with clubbing blows over the back until they drop him to a knee. Chris pulls Dean up and Stephen hits another Body Shot and Chris hits Hang’em High! }Terri Morasco: Violent Tedencies is working together! Vasco Dias: This may be bad news for Powers that Be! { Angel is starting to move but his arm is in very bad shape. Chris and Stephen pull Dean up into a double power bomb position then rush toward the ropes and send Dean flying out into the crowd!!! }Vasco Dias: Are you kidding me!? Terri Morasco: They just launched Dean over ten feet!? Vasco Dias: That was insane!! { Dean is down in the crowd and Chris drops to a knee as that hurt him as well. Angel is back up and Stephen moves in for him but Blake hits a Genecide Kick followed up by Divine Jusitce! Chris turns and gets his own Genecide Kick and Divine Justice combo! }Terri Morasco: Angel is still in this! Vasco Dias: He will fight until the bitter end! { Blake hits Terrella with Revelations! Blake pops up to see Chris still standing and bounces off the ropes to grab Chris with Heaven’s Fury! Blake catches Stephen with a stiff kick and Tara’s Wings! Diamond pushes himself up and Angel grabs him for a one armed Divine Wrath! }Vasco Dias: Angel is pulling out every move in his arsenal! Terri Morasco: He’s digging deep looking for that one move to end this match! { Angel looks ready to put this one away and stalks Diamond. Stephen starts to get up. Angel has his eyes on Chris. Terrella comes in from behind with a chop block as Chris launches himself off the mat with a clothesline on Blake! }Terri Morasco: NO! Vasco Dias: Angel was so close! { Stephen pulls Angel up off the mat and hoists him up into the electric chair. Chris makes his way to the top rope, still nursing his leg. Dean Harper slowly starts to claw his way back over the crowd barrier. Portia yells “DO IT!” Chris comes off the top and Violent Tendencies hit the Brutalizer!!! }Vasco Dias: BRUTALIZER!!!!! Terri Morasco: I don’t believe it!!!! { Dean crawls his way across the floor and pulls himself up onto the apron. Stephen makes the cover on Angel. Chris sees Dean coming. Blue Shoes drops into place for ONE! Dean claws into the ring and Chris goes to block him. TWO! Dean is fighting hard and is almost free of Chris! THREE!!! Dean breaks loose a split second too late and falls on the mat next to his father as the bell is rung to end this match! }Alison Valance: Your winners and NEW IWF WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS!!! VIOLENT TENDENCIES!!! { Dean is on the match clutching his father who is now just holding his left arm, both Blake’s a bloody mess. Chris and Stephen stand, Stephen holding Chris up as they are handed the tag team titles! }Vasco Dias: We have new champs!!! Violent Tendencies did it!!! Terri Morasco: I didn’t think this is how the match would go but Violent Tendencies pulled it out! Vasco Dias: The tag team landscape has just changed forever. { Portia runs into the ring and wraps her arms around Terrella as they kiss. Chris hobbles over to the corner to stand up on the second rope and hold his belt high. Stephen joins Chris on another corner and holds his belt up to as Shitlist plays. }Vasco Dias: What a goddamn match. Terri Morasco: It was brutal, it was heart breaking, it was amazing. { Chris and Stephen hop down, rejoining Portia and the three of them heading out of the ring. Dean is cradling his father as Blue Shoes is calling for medical attention. }Terri Morasco: Angel is in bad shape after that match. Vasco Dias: That left arm is certainly damaged badly. {Following the heated contest between Violent Tendencies and The Powers That Be, they are surprised to become enshrouded by darkness; the titantron lights up and shows the timer counting down… } {The titantron light goes off. Dean is now standing trying to help his father up as the spotlight hits the stage and out steps [the IWF Women’s World Champion] Tara… “The Eagle Flies Alone” is playing over the PA, as Tara takes her time walking down the ramp. Angel and Dean are looking past her, looking for The First Son. }Vasco Dias: She promised that The First Son would be here tonight, but I don’t see him. Terri Morasco: Do you think she’s calling it off? Vasco Dias: I highly doubt it. {Angel has his eyes locked on Tara even though he can barely stand as Dean supports him. Tara points at Dean Harper… indicating… The First Son. Dean shakes his head, as Angel gives him a glance, but doesn’t think twice. Dean takes a couple steps back, but then comes back forward to rejoin his father and makes the same accusations. Tara taps her finger against her chin and then waves her finger at Dean. }Tara: You had your chance. {Tara feigns a surprised look as the lights all go out a second time… the only light that illuminates periodically are people flashing pictures with their phones, a couple trying to use them as flashlights to try to see what’s happening. }Vasco Dias: What is this? {When the lights turn on -- WRAITH is standing behind Angel and Dean. He is holding a kendo stick in his hand whilst gritting his teeth. }Vasco Dias: What?! THE FIRST SON! IS IT WRAITH?! Terri Morasco: She’s trying to tell them to turn around! {Dean is the first to turn, and is met with a shot from the cane over his head! Angel just a few milliseconds later, and gets cracked over the head! Wraith is alternating each shot back and forth between Dean and Angel; both men are exhausted from their previous match, and are struggling to defend from the onslaught as Tara takes this opportunity to pull a chair from under the ring and slides it in for Wraith’s use once the kendo stick has served its purpose; Tara climbs onto the apron and with another crack to Dean, the kendo stick snaps over his head! }Terri Morasco: Wraith is just hitting whoever moves right now between Angel and Dean! He doesn’t care! Vasco Dias: Angel is trying to recover, but look at Wraith just wailing away on Dean! {Wraith is delivering devastating forearm strikes to Dean Harper as he battles him into the corner, and then… rather than continuing the assault… he grabs a hold of Dean’s arm and holds his wrist against the rope giving Tara the chance; Tara takes a pair of handcuffs from her pocket and traps Dean to the rope. }Vasco Dias: Dean has nowhere to go, but Angel is up-- {Just as Angel is to his feet, Wraith turns his attention back to him and delivers a swift kick to his stomach. He uses his foot to drag the chair toward him and drops Angel with a DDT on top of it! }Vasco Dias: And he is down. {Dean is using his free arm to try to stretch out, but Tara reaches over the top ropes and begins digging her nails into his eyes. }Tara: You should have taken my offer! {Wraith grabs Dean’s other arm and holds his wrist against the other rope as Tara gets a second pair of handcuffs and now Dean is helpless in the corner. Tara now gets into the ring without too much concern for Dean, but it doesn’t stop Wraith from throwing a few kicks directly into his gut to knock the wind out of him! Tara takes a microphone and snickers as she raises it so the crowd may hear what she has to say. }Tara: Angel… My dear… dear… Angel. I told you… I warned you… that The First Son would be here. I warned you… that The First Son would END you. {Tara gives a quick nod to Wraith, and Wraith pries the chair out from under Angel, then rams it into Angel several times! Wraith then places the chair against Angel’s neck, as he is gasping for air, and Tara drops to her knees beside Angel. Dean is in the corner shouting obscenities at both of them. }Tara: And… all… of this… could have been avoided. You left me no choice. YOU… MADE… ME… break you. I… never… said… it was YOUR First Son. {Wraith raises the chair and rams the chair down again, but this time across Angel’s neck! Angel is clutching his neck, but Wraith uses the chair to keep Angel pinned down as Tara lays over Angel before giving him a gentle kiss as Dean is still sneering and trying to get himself free. }Tara: Farewell… sweet… prince. {Wraith takes the chair and throws Angel’s hurt left arm in between the legs. Wraith loomks to Tara who nods and with all of his strength Wraith stomps down on the chair and the camera pick up what may have been the sickening sound of a snap as Dean screams in horror. Tara’s lips curve into a grin as she stands back up, and drops the microphone. Her music plays back over the PA for a brief moment; security is starting to swarm down through the curtains looking to apprehend the Mother and the Son. She snickers again. The lights go out, and as they come back on, Wraith and Tara are both gone. }Terri Morasco: They may have just ended Angel’s career! Vasco Dias: That was sickening! That was disgusting! Terri Morasco: And that was probably them just getting started. { Angel can’t breath, his arm may be broken and Dean is still trapped screaming for his father. Medical staff make their way out to the ring as we head to a promo package for the next match. }------------------------------------- IWF WOMEN'S WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH Eternity vs Tara Fenix(c) -------------------------------------
{The lights go out completely. }
Heeheeheeheeheeheeheehuhuhuhuhuhuhuhuhuhuhuhuhuhuhuhuhehehehehehehehehehehehehahahahahahahahahahahahaahaahaahaahaahaahaahaahaahaahaahaa...
{The soft chilling female laughter changes the atmosphere in the arena completely before the soft opening keys lead a procession of bright white starlights to twinkle in time with them.
She then skips to the middle of the ring and falls to her knees, keeping her head bowed for a moment and her eyes closed. she tilts her head back and slowly opens her eyes to the heavens. This gesture now triggers the lights to slowly be raised back up to normal levels as her music starts also to fade away. }
Terri Morasco: The challenger for Tara… for the IWF Women’s World Championship is the first to come down to the ring, and I think this is going to be one for the ages, Vasco. I really do.
Vasco Dias: I think you are absolutely correct. The question: “What happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object?” comes to mind to explain this particular match. We have Tara, a veteran of twenty years. One of the most decorated superstars in the industry! Going against Eternity! The most decorated woman of IWF, and no doubt she has earned her place in history in the industry with her list of accomplishments.
Terri Morasco: And if she wins this evening, she will be able to call herself a five-time Women’s World Champion.
Vasco Dias: Which is an incredible feat! There is no woman that has held the belt four times, like Eternity has - there is no woman who has held the belt THREE times, like Eternity has! And here she is trying to make it five. But it will not be easy.
{Every light in the arena shuts off… moments later, a single blue spotlight shines to the curtain as the opening melody for “The Eagle Flies Alone” by Arch Enemy plays over the PA system and the crowd is giving their mixed reactions… The longtime fans have cheered, and overpower the ones who do not know whether to cheer or not; some join in just out of peer pressure. Fog has filled the stage. The first verse comes and goes. The chorus comes in. }
I, I go my own way!
I swim against the stream!
(Forever) I will fight the powers that be!
{Tara emerges from behind the curtains; her head is covered by her hood. The championship around her waist glimmers from the spotlight hitting it, despite the fog covering some of it; Tara stands at the top of the stage with a sneer on her face as her eyes scan the crowd as if to find her supporters. Some of the crowd has gotten louder in her favor, while others are still mixed. Tara flings the hood back, and takes a better look at the crowd. The legendary Tara reaches down to trace her fingernails along the plate of the belt before going into a stride down the ramp; the stride turns to a brisk walk about halfway down the ramp. The crowd along the front row is bowing down to her. As she reaches the bottom of the ramp, she goes around to the camera side of the ring, and leaps onto the apron with one knee and straightens out her other leg while looking to the crowd and the camera. }
I, I go my own way!
I swim against the stream!
(Forever) I will fight the pοwers that be!
The eagle flies alone!
{Tara crawls between the middle and lower ropes, and crawls to the middle of the ring. After standing up, she walks to the nearest turnbuckle and unstraps the championship from her waist; she holds the belt up with one hand before shouting out inaudible words. After several seconds of basking, she does a one-eighty off of the second rope and landing. She hands the championship to the referee, and then her coat, then proceeds to wait for the match to start. }
Terri Morasco: And Tara is now in the ring, and this match is ready to get underway.
Vasco Dias: Listen to this crowd, Terri. Just listen. … … … they know that what they are about to witness is going to be magical. We’ve seen a lot of great fighters step into this ring, but there is a fire-- a passion-- to Tara that not many people can rival! When we first saw her win the Ruby Championship when IWF first opened its doors, we did not see this fire. We are seeing it now! Something has awakened inside of her! And I think it does spell trouble for anyone in front of her.
Terri Morasco: But for everyone watching from the sidelines--
Vasco Dias: Quite a show.
{Blue Shoes calls for the bell, and both of the women… rather than charging out of the gates… try to gain a psychological edge over the other. They are searching for an opening. They circle the ring several times before Tara takes the first step forward, and Eternity takes a defensive stance to anticipate her attack; Tara retreats. }
Vasco Dias: This is going to be one of the books, as each woman is looking for an opening on the other. But neither woman is giving an edge. Not physically. Not mentally. An IWF Hall of Famer in Eternity, and a legend renowned throughout the industry…
Terri Morasco: I think it’s strange. Both women are smiling, as if they see something the other does not.
Vasco Dias: Tara takes a second charge, looking for a double leg takedown, but Eternity takes a step back and drives forward with a knee! That was inches away from connecting with Tara!
{Following the knee strike attempt from Eternity, the fists begin flying! Eternity is on the defensive as the Women’s World Champion is striking in with various chops and elbows, and knees to the mid and upper body, whilst throwing in kicks against Eternity’s legs which she does her best to brace for; she’s trying to keep the challenger guessing making it difficult to know where to defend. Overhand strikes start coming in from Tara, and Eternity manages to shove the champion away; Tara immediately comes back in with more overhand strikes, but is shoved off by the challenger again. Tara repeats, but this time Eternity charges her forward and into the corner before using shoulder thrusts against Tara! }
Vasco Dias: Eternity has the champion in the corner, and those shoulders are just driving the wind right out of her.
Terri Morasco: Tara did start off really aggressive, and we have to remember that neither woman is a pushover. What do you think Tara would have to do to expose a weakness of Eternity? Is there a weakness?
Vasco Dias: No one is without flaw, and-- Eternity is starting to take over some offense as she creates enough separation to go in with her own chops against Tara, and you can hear those chops from here! One, after another, after another, after-- no, Tara is turning it around! Tara tosses Eternity into the corner, and she’s now driving in her own chops! They’re coming with rapid succession, but they sound just as devastating!
Terri Morasco: And this crowd is loving this battle between these two legends! They know they’re going to witness a great one.
{Eternity reverses Tara back into the corner, and starts driving in her own knife edge chops yet again! As Tara reaches forward to go for her own reversal, she’s met with an uppercut elbow from Eternity that decks her in the jaw and Tara has a glazed look on her face as she tries to recover. Eternity grabs Tara and brings over with a ribbreaker, before going for a quick cover and Blue Shoes makes the count: One! Tara is able to raise her shoulder at one-and-a-half. }
Vasco Dias: That’s one thing I’ve always enjoyed noticing about Tara. It’s the little things. This early in the match, she is not exerting too much energy by kicking out; she knows that Eternity does not have all of her weight on her shoulders, so she is able to get it up. When stamina is the name of the game, she knows how to conserve it.
{During Vasco’s explanation, Tara has sat up, but Eternity drags her up the rest of the way; Tara gets her arms around Eternity unexpectedly and takes her over with a Northern Lights Suplex! She keeps the bridge, and Blue Shoes counts: One! Nearly two! Eternity rolls a shoulder up, and continues to roll over onto her stomach. Tara is the first to her feet, and she charges the ropes right as Eternity is sitting up; she goes for a shining wizard! }
Terri Morasco: Tara looking to hit her with that knee!
Vasco Dias: But Eternity is able to dodge, but Tara is able to save herself from falling! She hits the far ropes, but Eternity springs to her feet… Tara looks for a clothesline, but Eternity ducks under and is looking for Tears of Sorrow! Tara throws some elbows and is able to break free.
{Tara charges the ropes again, but Eternity goes for a clothesline! Tara ducks, and leaps behind Eternity to drag her down with a crucifix pin: One! Two! Eternity rolls backwards and out of it. Eternity is the first to her feet this time, but followed closely by Tara; the champion advances first, and as she reaches for a strike of her own, Eternity lifts her up and back down with Laid To Rest! Eternity rolls Tara up: One! Two! Tara has to kick out! Eternity gets to her feet. }
Vasco Dias: Eternity doesn’t waste any time getting back up as she appears to be stalking Tara…
Terri Morasco: She is a four-time Women’s World Champion, and you have to imagine that she would love to get the belt back. Especially from the person who took it away from Abigail.
Vasco Dias: I don’t know-- I don’t know if Eternity actually cares. She’s just doing what she’s scheduled to do, and that’s fight Tara. Tara is now getting to her feet, and she goes for a double leg takedown while still getting up! But Eternity fires with a double axe handle smash right to her back, and that knocks Tara down to a knee, but Eternity forces her up and is maintaining control over her opponent.
{Eternity pulls one of Tara’s arms behind her back and picks her up and slams her back down with a hammerlock scoop slam! Eternity drops down with an elbow drop, and lingers a moment that causes Blue Shoes to go for a count, but Eternity moves before he does. }
Terri Morasco: I don’t think she’s looking to end it yet. I think she knows that Tara is not going to stay down.
{Eternity stands back up and drops down with another elbow drop, but gets up quicker this time. She takes one of Tara’s arms and drags her to her feet before using Dragon’s Breath! Eternity rolls over and just holds Tara’s shoulders down while pinning: One! Two! Tara has to kick out again! }
Vasco Dias: The impact from that snap suplex seemed to knock the wind out of Tara, but I think Eternity was just trying to force her to exert more energy. But she’s now trying to just inflict more pain as she starts pummeling away on the champion. Tara is raising her hands to defend herself.
Terri Morasco: Eternity can be intimidating, and I’m just wondering what Tara would have to do to shift the momentum back in her favor just for a chance to win.
{While Tara is covering her head, Eternity grabs her by the hair and starts forcing her to stand up; Tara still doesn’t give up and tries to stand up the rest of the way but Eternity forces her head down and drives a knee to her head! }
Terri Morasco: That knee strike hit her just right, and-- I think-- yes, I think the champion is bleeding.
Vasco Dias: That’s not going to fare well for Tara going forward, because Eternity could prey in on it.
{Eternity drives a few more knee strikes, hitting her mark every time. Eternity then draws Tara into a butterfly lock, and lands Tara with the Pallbearer Suplex! Eternity quickly rolls over but rather than going for the cover starts hitting Tara with several forearm strikes while zoning in on the opening. Tara lays down on the mat following the onslaught just trying to get a breath in. }
Terri Morasco: I haven’t seen an opponent dominate Tara like this since Tara has returned.
Vasco Dias: I don’t think any opponent has ever dominated her like this throughout her career. It started back-and-forth, but Eternity has taken control, and just seems to be punishing her.
{Tara rolls onto her side, and raises her arm to wipe the blood away from her eyes but before she has too much time to recover, Eternity retrieves her and drags her up to her feet. Eternity lifts her up onto her shoulders and looks to use The Broken Windmill! }
Vasco Dias: Eternity is getting a spinning start, but Tara is coming to-- and Tara is throwing some elbows back! She needs to get off of Eternity’s shoulders, and she knows it, because Eternity is getting too much momentum-- and there’s some more elbows! Eternity is staggering!
Terri Morasco: Eternity is trying it anyway, anything to fling Tara off of her! The Broken Windmill--
Vasco Dias: But Tara is able to maneuver, and land on her feet! The elbows staggered Eternity enough to prevent her from hitting the move perfectly!
{Tara, landing on her feet, quickly gets to a standing position; Eternity stands fully back up and covers her head with one hand following the elbows, and Tara goes for a spinning kick! Eternity manages to duck it just in time, but Tara now sweeps her legs out from under her, and she immediately stands back up to deliver a stomp onto Eternity’s knee, and then goes for an elbow drop to her chest! Eternity rolls out of the way, onto her stomach, and is up to her feet; Tara does the same, and fires a straight kick at Eternity! Eternity catches her foot, but Tara then connects with an enzuigiri! }
Terri Morasco: Did you hear that, Vasco?!
Vasco Dias: That’s something people need to remember about Tara is that she does have some deadly kicks, and that enzuigiri just showed it!
{Tara stands back up, as Eternity is trying to recover; Eternity is dazed from the kick to her head, and Tara fires for a Genocide Kick! }
Vasco Dias: The Genocide-- NO! Eternity somehow caught that!
Terri Morasco: I don’t know how, and she’s spinning her out…
{As Tara is spinning, she comes back and connects with a back heel kick! Eternity staggers to the ropes but is able to save herself from falling by catching them, and Tara is getting up behind her… Tara charges in behind Eternity and goes to roll her up, but Eternity hooks both of her arms around the ring and Tara rolls backward on her own; Eternity turns and aims for a clothesline, but Tara ducks underneath. Tara springs to the middle rope-- Eternity turns around-- Tara completes a backflip off the second rope, and catches Eternity in an inverted headlock before continuing that momentum and dropping Eternity with a reverse DDT! }
Vasco Dias: Sometimes the flashiness is what’s going to win the match, and Eternity hits that mat rather hard. Tara is rolling her up!
Terri Morasco: The impact from hitting the mat… I think it could be enough, and there goes Blue Shoes with the count. One. Two. Eternity kicked out!
Vasco Dias: Tara-- there’s no expression. She doesn’t seem surprised? It seems like she was almost expecting her to kick out.
{Tara now grabs Eternity by the hair and drags her to her feet at the same time as she stands up, and drives her skull down over her knee! }
Vasco Dias: I think that’s payback from earlier!
{Tara drives a second knee to her skull, and a third! Tara battles Eternity back into the corner, while holding her head down, and continuously driving knees to Eternity’s skull; Tara grabs Eternity by the head and starts charging forward for a bulldog! Eternity manages to shove her off, and Tara hits the corner; Eternity charges in for an attack, but Tara steps to the side, and Eternity collides with the corner… Tara sprints to about mid-ring before turning around and coming in with a Stinger Splash! }
Vasco Dias: Tara is starting to get fired up, and she’s sending Eternity to the opposite corner-- Tara is charging in, and-- Eternity comes out of the corner with a jumping clothesline!
{Both women hit the mat, and both roll over onto their feet and finally back up-- they circle the ring again, looking for an opening, and Eternity spots one; she is the first to charge, but Tara leans down and lifts her up onto her shoulders. }
Vasco Dias: Tara has lifted Eternity up! And what could she be plotting?
Terri Morasco: Eternity is trying to hit a few elbows, but Tara is actually holding her arm with one hand! Eternity can’t get the distance to deliver effective elbows!
{Tara suddenly flings Eternity up, and brings her down with a new move to her arsenal: BURN TO ASHES, or GO TO SLEEP! }
Vasco Dias: What was that?! A new move from Tara!
Terri Morasco: Twenty years in this industry, and Tara is still pulling out some new tricks for people. But I think that she did what she wanted with that one. Blood is oozing out from Eternity’s forehead.
{Tara falls to her knees and crawls over Eternity. She swipes her hand to get a touch of the blood, then leans down and licks the blood from Eternity’s face. }
Terri Morasco: What the…?
Vasco Dias: Don’t ask me, Terri. Tara is just getting a taste for blood.
Terri Morasco: Could she be trying to throw her own mind games at Eternity?
Vasco Dias: I can’t imagine any other reason she would do that.
{Satisfied, Tara stands up and leaps into the air to drop with a double knee drop over Eternity, then rolls over and pins her shoulders down: One! Two! Eternity kicks out! Eternity immediately rolls onto her side to prevent Tara from following with a second cover, and Tara stands up; she notices Eternity lying there and brings down a heavy stomp to her hand! Eternity groans out in pain, but Tara doesn’t stop there; she circles up and delivers an equally vicious stomp to Eternity’s knee! }
Vasco Dias: Tara is looking to dismember Eternity with those stomps!
{Eternity groans out in pain while holding her own hand, and then moves closer to the ropes; she clutches her hand close to her stomach while using her other hand to use the ropes to pull herself up, and Tara is already persisting the attack. }
Vasco Dias: Tara is driving some more of those vicious kicks to Eternity, and Eternity is doing her best to cover herself up.
{Tara almost rips Eternity’s arm off as she goes for an Irish-whip, but Eternity reverses! Tara rebounds, and charges for an attack of her own on Eternity, but Eternity manages to toss Tara up and bring her down with The Blood God’s Wrath! }
Terri Morasco: You can’t imagine she likes being hit with one of Spike’s old moves.
Vasco Dias: She probably doesn’t, but Eternity just shifted the momentum back to her favor-- she rolls Tara up, and Blue Shoes is counting. One. Two. Tara kicks out at two-and-a-half!
Terri Morasco: Eternity seems to be slowing down a little bit. She’s probably just wanting a moment to catch her breath.
{Eternity reaches up to feel where she had been busted open, and just wipes the blood away. She scoots back a smidgen to stand back up; meanwhile, Tara has rolled onto her stomach and propped herself on her elbows-- her own blood dripping beneath her, and she wants to get up with her own strength, but Eternity stands her up before taking her down with Tears Of Sorrow! Eternity keeps an elbow draped over Tara and Blue Shoes counts: One! Two! 2.5! Tara gets a shoulder up just in the nick of time. }
Terri Morasco: Eternity is going to have to look for something bigger to put the champion away. We’ve seen Tara endure a lot of pain since returning, especially her most recent defense against Mandi.
Vasco Dias: That was definitely one that people are going to remember, and yeah… it showed how cruel, how vicious, how ruthless Tara can be. Both women are bleeding now, but that came from sheer force!
{Tara has rolled onto her side, and is trying to get up, but Eternity is the first one up and doesn’t let it happen this time… this time, she puts her into the Cenotaph! }
Vasco Dias: A fujiwara armbar! Eternity is looking to make Tara tap out, but Tara is trying to fight it!
{Tara pounds a clenched fist on the mat a few times, and starts pulling herself toward the ropes; Eternity is pulling harder with the armbar, but to no avail. Tara is inching closer to the ropes, closer, and closer, and Eternity releases the hold. She gets up and stomps Tara on the back, now grabbing Tara by the leg and dragging her away from the ropes and now dropping down to put Tara into the Epitaph. }
Vasco Dias: Tara was fighting it, and she was getting closer to the ropes, but--
Terri Morasco: But Eternity was smart with the release, and dragged Tara away. Now she’s trying to choke her out!
Vasco Dias: There’s still no “quit” in Tara! Eternity has one of those arms locked, and she’s pulling back with this hold-- Blue Shoes is asking Tara if she would like to tap out, but Tara is shaking her head. Tara is refusing. It looks like Eternity may be looking for a transition. She’s releasing one of Tara’s legs-- and Tara is using that moment, and all of her leg strength to push herself toward the ropes, but Eternity is trying to regain it. Eternity stands up, and she’s trying to drag her back, but-- OH MY!
{Tara has rolled forward and the momentum forces Eternity forward and between the ropes to the outside of the ring! }
Terri Morasco: That was almost a desperation reversal from Tara!
Vasco Dias: It looked like Eternity was trying to transition to Ouroboros which is damn near impossible to break out of if applied correctly in the middle of the ring. I think Tara knew it was coming, and she just bought herself a couple seconds. Tara is getting up, and Eternity is getting up on the outside of the ring.
Terri Morasco: But Blue Shoes doesn’t want to start the count. I think he, like the fans, wants to know who the winner is without worrying about a count out.
{Tara stands inside, as Eternity is using the barricade to get to her feet. Tara charges at the ropes and leaps up, landing on the top rope -- she stands there, balanced, for just a moment and just as Eternity turns toward her, Tara comes off with a diving crossbody! She hits her mark! }
Terri Morasco: Tara, FLYING!
Vasco Dias: That is the traditional Tara!
Terri Morasco: These fans are out of their seats, and Blue Shoes is trying to check on them.
Vasco Dias: Honestly, I do feel that Blue Shoes should just start counting… just so their bodies may be saved, and they can fight another day.
{Eternity and Tara are both laid out outside of the ring, both just staring up at the lights. Blue Shoes is trying to just ensure both are okay before he gets back into the ring and realizing he has no choice, he starts the count. One! The crowd chants with him, which causes both competitors to stir slightly. Two! About equivalent movement from both of them, but still not much. Three! Tara is grabbing for the ring apron. Eternity has still had little movement. Four! Tara is pulling herself up by the apron. Eternity with still little to no movement. Five! Tara is up to her knees. Eternity has finally rolled onto her side. Tara rolls under the rope and into the ring just before Blue Shoes calls for six. Six! Eternity finishes rolling over onto her stomach, and her arms tremble as she tries to push herself up. Tara is still lying on her back inside the ring. Seven! Eternity is up to her hands and knees. Eight! Eternity to one knee. Nine! Eternity scrambles forward and slides into the ring just before Blue Shoes can get to ten! }
Terri Morasco: Eternity is back in the ring, and this match is still going!
Vasco Dias: That may have been a photo finish.
Terri Morasco: It seems that Eternity is winded just by forcing herself back into the ring as quick as she did get in there, but Tara is now using those ropes to pull herself up; she has had a moment to catch her breath.
{Tara is wobbling back and forth as she tries to get to her feet, and Eternity is doing the same… Tara drives in with a forearm smash that sends Eternity back a few steps, and Tara hits the Fallen Phoenix! Tara rolls Eternity up and Blue Shoes counts: One! Two! 2.7! Eternity gets an arm on the rope! }
Terri Morasco: That is rather unexpected! Tara didn’t get her far enough from the ropes. She doesn’t usually make those mistakes.
Vasco Dias: I think she was counting that both of them were just exhausted, but Eternity somehow did it.
{Tara is a bit shocked, but this doesn’t stop her from getting back to her feet and still wobbling… she leans down to pull Eternity up with her, and Eternity fires with a knee before circling behind Tara and taking her up and down with The Y-Incision! Eternity now makes the cover, pulling both of Tara’s legs so there’s no chance for her to touch the ropes. One! Two! 2.9! Tara kicks out! }
Terri Morasco: And Eternity counted on Tara going for the ropes, which if you look at how she rolled her up, she knew it wouldn’t be an issue-- but Tara still kicks out! I don’t think that could have gotten much closer!
Vasco Dias: Eternity seems just as surprised as we are! Just as surprised as Blue Shoes was! I thought for sure that we were going to look at a new champion!
{Eternity is the first to her feet, as Tara is on her knees with one hand clutching her stomach, and the other supporting herself as she tries to get up; Eternity grabs Tara by the hair and pulls her head back, whilst simultaneously pulling her hand back for a hard strike - before she can lunge forward, Tara drives an elbow to Eternity’s inner knee causing her leg to give out for a moment. Tara uses this opportunity to stand up the rest of the way. Eternity fires with a front kick, but Tara catches it. }
Vasco Dias: Tara telegraphed that one, and-- nope! Eternity shoves her off!
Terri Morasco: Both women are absolutely exhausted. Tara saves herself from falling by leaning against the ropes and she backs into the turnbuckle.
{There is a brief moment between Tara backing into the corner, and Eternity regaining stability that Eternity uses to notice Tara still clutching her gut with one hand; Eternity charges forward for a running front kick aimed for Tara’s weakness! Tara is able to step to the side, and Eternity’s leg gets caught up in the ropes! }
Vasco Dias: Eternity is caught there, like a lamb to the slaughter, and Tara is now zoning in on her own.
Terri Morasco: You can’t blame Eternity for aiming that type of kick, but Tara was just a little too quick to be caught there.
Vasco Dias: And now Tara is showing her own ruthlessness, as she delivers a swift kick to the back of Eternity’s leg! She is aiming more kicks at that leg, and it seems Eternity is only standing because of those ropes.
{Tara continues driving kicks aimed at the leg of Eternity, as Eternity is trying to get her leg free from the ropes - she finally does, and limps out of the corner, raising her hands, and delivering an elbow that connects with the cut over Tara’s eye! Tara swings for a wild clothesline, which Eternity telegraphs and has Tara in position to land Tears Of Sorrow. }
Terri Morasco: Tara looks like she’s in trouble in this situation!
Vasco Dias: If Eternity can take her down, you have to imagine she would gain the advantage; the wind would be knocked back out of Tara, and Eternity would be able to capitalize with Death Wish to force a submission. But Tara fights back! A couple well placed elbows!
{Elbow after elbow, Tara resists. Tara persists. She breaks free from Eternity’s grasp, and looks to continue with her own attack but Eternity resists the shift of momentum by delivering a hard front kick to Tara’s gut! She then pulls her in and hooks both of her arms having her in position for The Last Rites. }
Vasco Dias: Eternity is looking to bring this to a close! She has both of her arms hooked!
Terri Morasco: But-- not so fast! Tara takes Eternity over with a shoulder back toss!
{Eternity lands on her back, but gets her arms now around Tara’s legs to trip her up and roll her into a sunset flip fashion; but Tara rolls backward and through with the momentum - Eternity goes to sit up, but is met with a kick to her chest that forces her back down and Tara then retrieves her leg and gets Eternity locked into the Phoenix Lock! }
Vasco Dias: The Phoenix Lock! The dreaded figure four! There aren’t many people who lock it in quite as well as Tara does, and now her game plan comes to fruition. She targeted that leg, that exact leg throughout the match, and you have to imagine she had an idea she may need to use this!
Terri Morasco: Eternity is trying to pry herself free, but Tara has it locked in. There is no escape unless she can get to the ropes, and she’s not particularly far… Eternity is stretching out.
Vasco Dias: The downfall with her stretching out is it makes her unable to relieve some of the pressure being put on her legs by that hold, and it allows Tara to continuously apply more pressure. But you are right that the ropes are her only play, and worse, I think Tara knows it! She’s going to break her legs by the time she gets there! I think Eternity has no choice but to tap.
{Inches away… just mere inches. Eternity groans as Blue Shoes is asking her if she would like to give up, but Eternity just shakes her head. She reaches her hands behind her back and manages to pull herself and Tara just a little bit closer to the ropes, and just enough that she is able to grab the ropes with both hands! }
Terri Morasco: There it is! Rope break!
Vasco Dias: Blue Shoes is telling Tara she has to let go, but Tara is holding on for the allotted time.
Terri Morasco: She was almost disqualified there. I think the frustration is building in her that Eternity is somehow still holding on.
Vasco Dias: The problem is that if she were disqualified, she retains the championship. If Eternity wants to walk out with the belt, she’s going to have to hope that Tara doesn’t do anything to get herself disqualified, which I don’t think she has to worry about. That’s not exactly Tara’s style.
Terri Morasco: But Tara’s not giving up on the hold just yet!
{Tara is on her feet, holding both of Eternity’s legs and trying to forcibly drag her away from the ropes and toward the center of the ring; Eternity has a death grip on the ropes, and refusing to ease up. }
Terri Morasco: I think Eternity knows the situation, and knows that if she is pulled from those ropes and to the center of the ring, there is no escaping the Phoenix Lock a second time!
Vasco Dias: I think you’re absolutely right, and that’s why she’s doing everything in her power to keep a grip on those ropes. But she’s not going to do anything or go anywhere if she can’t find a way to turn this around, and it looks like she got her answer!
{Eternity shoves Tara off with one good leg, just enough force that sends Tara stumbling back; Tara almost loses her balance, but regains it. Meanwhile, Eternity uses this moment to use the ropes to pull herself up with a visible limp. The two look to collide for one last hurrah. }
Vasco Dias: Tara is going low, and Eternity is looking to catch her with a knee.
Terri Morasco: It seems like-- yes, it seems like Eternity missed!
{Tara aims for a double leg takedown but Eternity manages to keep herself planted; she drives a knee into Tara’s midsection before hooking her arms and quickly taking her down with The Last Rites! }
Terri Morasco: It seems like Eternity may get this victory, she could become the first-ever five-time Women’s World Champion!
Vasco Dias: She’s turning her over, but barely… and she’s got the leg hooked.
{Blue Shoes counts: One! Two! Three! }
Alison Valance: Your winner! By way of pinfall! AND NEW! IWF WOMEN’S WORLD CHAMPION! ETERNITY!!!!!
{Blue Shoes hands the championship to Eternity, and raises her arm in the air as Eternity holds her arm up for just a moment. She brings the championship close to her as she departs from the ring. }
------------------------------------- IWF MEN'S WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH Evan Albrecht vs Warren Kane(c) -------------------------------------
Alison Valance: The following main event for the men’s world title is a thirty minute iron man match. The competitor with the most falls after thirty minutes will be considered the champion! Terri Morasco: We haven’t had a match like this in a while. Vasco Dias: It’ll be interesting to see if both men can make it {The guitars of "Devil Trigger" start to echo through the arena as Evan stomps out and raises a hand to the crowd before just outright Howling to the spotlight as he charges the Ring sliding smoothly under the bottom rope before climbing a corner rope to start taking off his jacket with a feral grin. } Alison Valance: First, the challenger and winner of the 2021 roulette, from Cincinnati, Ohio standing at 6’2’’ and weighing in at 213 pounds… Thunderchild Evan Albrecht!!
{the crowd cheers } Terri Morasco: Evan has really made a splash since entering the company. The fact he won the roulette in his first year means he has a chance to do what few men have! Vasco Dias: And he is coming in hot after winning the match to decide the stipulation for this match. {The lights go out and the snow steady beat of New Divide by Linkin Park plays and the crowd gives a good cheer for Warren Kane as he emerges from behind the curtains wearing a simple leather jacket, with his hands at his hips and a smile on his face. He then heads towards the ring, stopping to touch hands with members of the crowd before stopping in front of the ring. Closes his eyes, takes a breath before jumping up onto the apron, climbing the turnbuckle on the outside and raising his arms in the air getting a positive reaction from the crowd. The music dies down and the lights return to normal as he drops into the ring. } Alison Valance: and the World Champion, from London, England, standing at 6’1’’ and weighing in at 205… Warren Kane!!
{Crowd cheers } Terri Morasco: Warren has to be a little worried on how this match is going to go. Multiple fall matches have never wired in his favor. Vasco Dias: But he is going to be working harder to maintain the title. {as soon as the bell rings, Evan opens with a European uppercut followed by a back elbow. Warren is sent back, Evan follows with a neck breaker. } Terri Morasco: A strong opening from Evan here! Vasco Dias: If he’s smart he’s trying to draw Warren to over commit early in the match.
{Warren gets back up to his feet, shaking the cobwebs free. Evan barely gives Warren a chance to recover as he pushes himself forward with a DDT slamming Warren down. Warren gets back to his feet, clearly less than 100%. Evan follows through with a Snap Suplex followed by a Backbreaker. }
Terri Morasco: Warren is going on the defensive here to try to keep from losing ground but I’m not sure that is the desired effect. Vasco Dias: Warren’s body can take some punishment so maybe he thinks he can survive until Evan gets tired? {With check that Warren is down on the mat, Evan climbs the ropes and gives a howl that the crowd mimics. Evan goes for a HUNTER’S MOON--but Warren rolled at the last minute out of the way. Warren pulls himself up on the ropes, Evan springs back to his feet. Evan hits Warren with a Shadow Cutter, knocking Warren back into the ropes. Warren responds with a Enziguri. }
Terri Morasco: Warren is not going down without a fight! Vasco Dias: But he’s taken a beating here.
{Evan gets back to his feet, he hits Warren with a Touch of Rage with the mounted punches that Warren tries to block but isn’t able to take all of it. Not wanting to waste time to give Warren a chance to recover again, Evan goes for the pin 1 2 KICK OUT Evan growls and begins Mudhole stomping Warren for th trouble he’s causing himself. }
Terri Morasco: That was close! Vasco Dias: Warren can’t expect to keep this going for long, can he?
{Warren manages to roll out of the ring, bleeding a bit from the assault. Evan, like a wolf, is quick on the scent and following and snagging Warren with a Belly-to back-Suplex on the outside of the ring. Warren hits the ground hard. Evan moves to pick him up but Warren headbutts him, knocking Evan back a little. Warren hits him with a pele kick and Evan hits te steps. Warren’s eyes widen slightly, clearly worried he’d gone too far, goes to check on Evan. Evan jumps up with a Ankle Pick. Evan knocks Warren’s head against the side of the ring before trying to go for another pin 1 2 Kick out. }
Terri Morasco: Jesus, Warren is taking a beating.
{Evan picks up Warren and hits him with a foreman carry back into the ring. }
Vasco Dias: Love to see it.
{As Evan rolls into the ring, preparing a Lunar’s Armor but Warren manages to slip out of his grip and hit him with a jumping knee to the head. Warren goes for a pin 1 Kick out! Evan shakes off the head hit and goes for a punch to the stomach cornering Warren. Evan gets Spirit of the Fray off on the trapped Warren. }
Terri Morasco: ow! That arm wrench looked extra painful! Vasco Dias: Evan is tired of playing around.
{Warren is clearly favoring his right shoulder as he makes some space between himself and Evan. Evan keeps advancing. Warren hits Evan with a shortarm clothes line but grunts in the pain it clearly did to himself as well. Evan takes advantage to get back to his feet and hits Warren in the shoulder with a couple mounted elbow strikes. To gain some space Warren tries a KIDD KICK but Evan avoids it. }
Terri Morasco: Ow. Vasco Dias: Don’t be a coward Terri. Time is running short and there hasn’t been a single pin yet.
{Evan goes for a Kiss of Heliós but Warren drops at the last moment. Evan growls again, picking Warren up by his short hair and striking him over and over again. With a backbreaker and another round of mud stomping Evan goes for an Umbral Dance! But! Warren counters it with a Saving Grace! }
Terri Morasco: uh oh! Vasco Dias: Where is he keeping this energy?
{Warren hits Evan with a 'Splosion followed by a KIDD KICK and as it seems Evan might be trying to resist the pain Warren hits him with a CHRYSAOR }
Vasco Dias: Warren hasn’t used that finisher in a while!!
Terri Morasco: The first time that a finisher has been able to go all match! Vasco Dias: Could this be it? The timer is almost out...
{Warren pins Evan 1 2 3!! The timer buzzer goes off } Alison Valance: Your winner and still world champion… WARREN KANE! {Warren lets go of Evan and kind of flops on the mat as if he spent all his energy to get that pin and is empty. Medical comes casually up the ramp to check on both Evan and Warren as the champion’s music plays. } Terri Morasco: What a fantastic show! Vasco Dias: That’s the end of Night of the Immortals 2021!
