We here at IWFnews.com are proud to announce that as of 3:00 AM, June 3rd, 2021, Rob Diamond has given birth to a beautiful baby boy!!!
Named, Michael Robert Kane-Diamond. Little Michael came into the world weighing just over 7.5 pounds kicking and screaming and ready to kick some ass.
Rob was said to start having some contractions over the weekend but chalked them up to false labor. However late Wednesday evening those contractions steadily moved closer together until Lady Spike herself drove Rob to the hospital. Rob went into an arduous labor and declined taking any sort of medication, until the last second when he took the epidural. The labor itself lasted around 12 hours and Rob decided to have the baby naturally, though we are unsure what that means at this time.
We were able to get a few words from both of the new parents.
Lady Spike: I can't believe he chose to do it naturally... I'll never un-see that.
Rob Diamond: I did it! For everyone who ever said I couldn't do it! I just did it! I gave birth! And by gawd is this little SOB the most handsome kid I have ever seen! I can't wait until he gets sucked into a time vortex and returns 20 years older and wins the IWF Men's World Championship in 2022!
Lady Spike: What?!
Rod Diamond: Uh... Nothing...
Lady Spike: Don't you dare raise my baby boy like Cable from the X-Men.
Rob Diamond: But I wanna team up with my son and win titles...
Lady Spike: NO!
Rob Diamond: FINE!
Now with that bizarre story arc seemingly out of the way it's only a matter of time before Rob Diamond makes his return to the IWF and does whatever it is that Rob does best. We wish him and his family all the best!
