------------------------------------- HOUR ONE -------------------------------------
{ The show opener for Friday Night Sacrifice plays to the theme of Born for One Thing by Gojira showing clips of all the current champions as well as some of the biggest stars in IWF currently. After the open plays we head to the studio where Laura Howlett stands with Keybo Shabaz. }
Laura Howlett: Welcome back to Friday Night Sacrifice! And if youâre somehow tuning in to the biggest and best professional wrestling show in the world for the first time, what the hell has been the hold up!? I am your host, the undeniably best manager in the world, Laura Howlett!
Keybo Shabaz: If thatâs true then wouldnât Tytus Rost be a champion by now?
Laura Howlett: And the man whoâs about to have a broken jaw next to me is Keybo âFatassâ Shabaz!
Keybo Shabaz: Name calling just means youâve lost the argument.
Laura Howlett: Youâre going to lose your balls if you donât shut up.
Keybo Shabaz: We have a huge show for you tonight! OPEN FIGHT NIGHT RETURNS!
Laura Howlett: The challenges have been made, titles are on the line, it is going to be an exciting night of action! First up weâve got the newly minted team of SomeKnight taking on Team Diversity Hire!
Keybo Shabaz: This should be off the chain!
Laura Howlett: Off the chain?
Keybo Shabaz: Itâs what the kids are saying, right?
Laura Howlett: In 1998⌠Letâs get to the match!
------------------------------------- TAG TEAM MATCH Nick Knight and Johnny Somebody vs Team Diversity Hire -------------------------------------
{The opening hook of "Blood//Water - Grandson" blares from the PA as Nick Hunter, Nate Harris, Gabirela Luna and Pax Stormcrow walk onto the ramp with Justine Harris with fairy wings and a crown on as she skips down the ramp in front of them. On the 'Tron there is the TEAM DIVERSITY HIRE logo as well as showing links to instagram, youtube, spotify and their personal merch store. Justine waves happily to the crowd as each of the members stops to shake hands and fist bump the crowd before getting intot the ring with Gabi lifting the young Justine into the ring. Each of them pose a moment before exiting the ring.}
{ Bryan Adamâs âSomebodyâ plays and Johnny Somebody runs out from the back slapping hands with the fans all the way up the aisle. He runs around the ring a few times before walking up the steps and stomping the apron a few times before entering the ring and shaking the ropes to hype the crowd. }
{ This Means War by Five Finger Death Punch as Nick Knight makes his entrance. }
Laura Howlett: Itâll be interesting to see how team Some Knight do here tonight against the number one contenders to the tag team championships.
Keybo Shabaz: A win by Nick and Johnny would have to put them in automatic contention.
{ The match kicked off with Nate Harris and Johnny Somebody. The two mini powerhouses circled each other at first before Johnny challenged Nate to a test of strength. They locked up hands to a pop from the crowd and Johnny started to over power Nate. Johnny powered Nate all the way down to the mat for a pin fall but Harris kicked out. Johnny pumped himself up as Nate got back to his feet. The two moved in for each other again but Nate connected with a forearm smash and a gutwrench suplex! Johnny rolled over himself and to his feet and hit Nate with a shotgun dropkick! Johnny then tagged in Knight as Nate tagged in Nick. Knight and Hunter went for the lock up but Knight immediately raked the eyes of Hunter. Knight then grabbed Hunter with a wrist clutch exploder. Hunter got back to his feet and Knight came in for him but Hunter grabbed Knight with a sit out hip toss. Knight tried to get right up but Hunter caught him with a snapmare and a snap elbow drop. Hunter covered but Knight kicked right out. Hunter brought Knight to his feet but Knight connected with a head butt and several hard chops across the chest of Hunter. Knight slung Hunter into the corner and hit a splash before tagging in Johnny. Johnny and Knight connected with a double vertical suplex out of the corner. Johnny made the cover but Nate broke it up. Johnny then brought Hunter back to his feet but Hunter lit Johnny up with the Mardi Gras Blitz! Hunter tagged Nate back in and the pair hit Johnny with a double superkick! Hunter then rushed Knight and hit him with a leaping enuzgiri to knock him off the apron! Nate hit Johnny with the Revision for the three count and the victory at just shy of ten minutes! }
Laura Howlett: Team Diversity Hire racks up another win on their march toward a tag team title shot.
Keybo Shabaz: Impressive showing by both teams but thereâs a reason TDH has that shot.
Laura Howlett: Next up we will be witness to the live execution of Fiona McFly at the hands of Tara Fenix!
Keybo Shabaz: I donât think thatâs whatâs going to happen.
Laura Howlett: Then youâre an idiot! Letâs head to the match!
------------------------------------- SINGLES MATCH Fiona McFly vs Tara Fenix -------------------------------------
{ A video package begins playing to a rock-remix version of Rachel Platten's "Fight Song," showing a montage of Fiona McFly at various stages of her life including home movie footage of the famous 1994 go-kart race in the Texas Hill Country. We see photos of Fiona from her high school and college graduation ceremonies until we finally see an image of her standing next to the late Jack Gaither on their wedding day. The black-and-white photo fades down into a distorted image as the initial tune becomes slowed down, like a phonograph. Then... }
"ONE! TWO!! ONE-TWO!!! ONE-TWO-THREE-FOUR!!!!"
{ ...a blast of pyro goes off as the Halestorm song "Love Bites (So Do I) kicks into high gear. We see Fiona hopping onto the stage with a rugged smile on her face, looking around at the cheering crowd as she twirls a replica of her trusty bullwhip around and around. }
"Don't listen what your girlfriend says She reads those magazines That say you fail the test You don't have what she needs I'll slither like a viper And get you by the neck I know a thousand ways to help you forget about her That chick can eat her heart out
Love bites, but so do I, so do I Love bites, but so do I, so do I Love bites..."
{ She strolls down the rampway, hugging and high-fiving folks along the way before handing the replica whip to a child as a souvenir. }
Every light throughout the arena flickers out at the same moment, before leaving the arena in absolute darkness⌠The singular blue spotlight hits the stage which gets the crowd beginning to rally for the person they know is about to come from behind the curtains. The opening introduction of âThe Eagle Flies Aloneâ does begin to play which gives good indication, but then like a record being scratched, the music comes to an abrupt end⌠and is replaced by âBarbie Girlâ by Aqua.
I'm a Barbie girl, in the Barbie world Life in plastic, it's fantastic You can brush my hair, undress me everywhere Imagination, life is your creation
Tara comes out from the curtains without the same energy and demeanor she is known for; her hands are tucked into her pockets and she just shakes her head⌠Despite the music that is not her cup oâ tea, she lost a bet, and she is making good on it. The crowd is still doing their best to rally her. The camera zooms in on Tara while she walks down the ramp and is mouthing a few words that arenât suitable for television before bringing both her hands from her pockets and flipping the bird at a certain someone⌠The camera pans over to the crowd where Jason Cashe is seen with his phone in hand recording everything, as he laughs. Tara decides to dash the rest of the way to the ring, and just slides under the bottom rope and with a spring in her step, gets back up and moves to the nearest turnbuckle. She just leans against it while gesturing for the music to just stop and hoping the match will begin.
Keybo Shabaz: Say whatever you want about Fiona McFly, there is no denying her ability inside of that ring.
Laura Howlett: You can shine a turd all you like, itâs still a turd.
Keybo Shabaz: Sheâs a former Womenâs World Champion!
Laura Howlett: So was She Who Will Not Be Named, still a big old pile of shit in my book.
Keybo Shabaz: Why donât we just watch the match?
{ Before the match kicks off Tara is seen looking toward the crowd where we spot both members of Vendetta in the front row, watching. Tara nods in their direction as the bell rings. The two women meet in the center of the ring and Fiona is looking for a tie up but Tara grabs her by the wrist and twists it around the back of McFly. Taraâs then knocks on Fionaâs head with her free hand and brings Fiona down with a rear wristlock takedown. Tara pushes off of her with a smile. Fiona gets back up to her feet and doesnât find the joke very funny. Tara starts to move in but Fiona fires off a spinning wheel kick and follows it up gauntlet of palm strikes that drives Tara backward into the corner. Once in the corner, Fiona fires off a roundhouse kick that nearly sends Taraâs head into the front row. Fiona then grabs Tara and looks for a scoop slam but Tara slips out of it and drops behind Fiona. Tara then snaps off a Fallen Phoenix from behind! Tara goes for the cover but Fiona is able to kick out. Tara pulls Fiona up and lights her up with kicks of her own. Tara hits several target kicks to Fionaâs knee before firing off her own roundhouse to Fionaâs head and neck, then she steps back and Tara connects with a Genocide Kick! Tara again goes for the cover but Fiona is able to kick out at two. Tara rips Fiona up off the mat and Fiona comes roaring back with the Iron Claw!!! Fiona has it locked in deep as Tara back steps toward the ropes. Tara then stomps on the foot of Fiona to get her to release the Iron Claw. Fiona backs up for a second as Tara moves in but McFly hits a deep arm drag takedown. Tara gets right up but Fiona connects with a thrust kick to the midsection of Fenix and drives her backward into the corner. Fiona hits a spinning wheel kick to Tara then sets her legs up on the ropes. Tara tries to move but McFly gets all of the Cunt Punt! Fiona then rips Tara off the turnbuckles and hits the Chrono Trigger! Fiona covers Tara and itâs almost a three but Tara gets her shoulder up just before the refâs hand can hit the mat. Fiona pulls Tara to her feet again, Fiona is looking for the Phoenix Down but Tara fights out of it. Tara mounts some offense with the Siren! Tara pulls Fiona up and into Burn to Ashes! Tara makes the cover but Fiona is able to get her shoulder up at two. Tara then heads to the corner and climbs up, Tara signals for the end of the match and flies off with the Phoenix Drop but Fiona moves! Tara crashes and burns. Fiona sees an opening and grabs Tara. Fiona goes to lift Tara up into the Phoenix Down again but Tara once again fights it off. Tara then counters with Phoenix Wings! Tara covers for the three count and the victory at fifteen minutes and thirty two seconds!
As Tara exits the ring Shelly Diamond emerges from behind the curtain. Tara smirks as she makes her way up the ramp. The crowd buzzing with anticipation. Tara seems to be reverting to her Blue Demon form but then stops. She says something the mic doesn't pick up before patting the title on Shelly's shoulder and heading to the back. Shelly stands there with a look of malice in her eyes. }
Laura Howlett: I wonder what she said to Shelly!?
Keybo Shabaz: Nothing good, I'm sure.
Laura Howlett: Well, Tara Fenix with yet another win as she looks to next weekâs Womenâs World Championship Match against Shelly Diamond!
Keybo Shabaz: Tara is looking unstoppable.
Laura Howlett: She certainly is.
Keybo Shabaz: We are throwing to our broadcast partners for the next match! Take it away Terri and Vasco!
------------------------------------- 30 MINUTE IRON MAN MATCH James Gilmore vs Nick Danger -------------------------------------
Terri Morasco: This is it! We close out hour number one with a bang -- teacher vs. student in a 30-minute showcase!
Vasco Dias: Finally, a chance to see these two have a bloodbath...
Alison Valance: The following contest is a 30 minute Ironman match. The first wrestler to score the most falls wins the match.
{ The crowd rises to its feet. }
Alison Valance: Introducing first...from Corpus Christ, Texas, weighing in at 205 pounds -- James Gilmore!
{ An instrumental with hook version of "Shell Shocked" by Juicy J, featuring Wiz Khalifa and Ty Dolla $ign, begins to play, and a video package begins to play stock footage of waves crashing, followed by bolts of cloud-to-cloud lightning. }
"Knock, knock, you about to get shell shocked Knock, knock, you about to get shell shocked Knock, knock, you about to get shell shocked Knock, knock, you about to get shell shocked..."
{ As jets of water shoot out from all directions, we tsee James Gilmore stepping out onto the stage, posing along to the hip-hop tune, before high-fiving the crowd and walking down to the ring. }
"(All for one when we fight together) Knock, knock, you about to get shell shocked (All for one when we ride together) Knock, knock, you about to get shell shocked (All for one when we fight together) Knock, knock, you about to get shell shocked (This family can bear any weather) Knock, knock, you about to get shell shocked..."
{ Once inside the ring, the Islander alum points heavenward, taking in the moments as he waits for his opponent. }
Terri Morasco: Highly unlikely that JJâs gonna turn to the dark arts for this one! You heard what Rob Diamond said to him this past week...
Vasco Dias: Sometimes ya never know, TerriâŚ
Terri Morasco: You can tell by the look in his eyes, JJ knows what heâs about to get into. What he has done within a two-year stretch has been nothinâ short of remarkable.
Vasco Dias: As much as I pile on him, give him credit where itâs due. The transformation heâs undergone since November 2018 has been unreal!
Alison Valance: And his opponent...from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, weighing in at 195 pounds! He is âThe New Savior Of Wrestlingâ...Nick Danger.
{I Hate U by Boston Manor comes on the speaker and Nick Danger walks out to the entrance ramp wearing Red and White wrestling attire and his leather jacket says Savior. He stands on the entrance ramp hyping the whole crowd to chant his name and starts walking down the ramp while giving fans high fives. He walks up the steel steps and goes through the middle rope to stand near the center of the ring for a moment then takes off his leather jacket and then throws both of them to the crowd then stands at the corner turnbuckle ready for the match to start. }
Terri Morasco: Nick Danger comes in after his loss to JJ last week. Ya gotta believe heâs gonna be cookinâ something in his mind.
Vasco Dias: Perhaps a lâil bit of revenge -- after all, Gilmoreâs Cowboys whupped Dangerâs Eagles this past Monday night!
Terri Morasco: 41-21, if I recall correctly!
[DING-DING-DING!!!]
{ Blue Shoes tells both competitors that they can begin. Both men step towards the center of the ring and Nick extends his hand and James shake it with his own hand. They lock up and Nick snatches James into a headlock but James pushes him off into the ropes. comes back with a shoulder tackle, pauses momentarily then hits ropes again. Danger is back up as rebounds off James and Nick drops down to his stomach and leaps over James. Nick pops back up leapfrogs over James then goes for a hip toss but James blocks it and hits one of his own. The crowd pops. }
Terri Morasco: Back and forth action early on here!
Vasco Dias: So far, Gilmoreâs teachinâ Danger some counter lessons...
{ Nick Danger kips up, landing on his feet, staring at James and telling him to bring it on and donât hold back. Nick Danger runs towards James Gilmore looking for a bicycle knee strike, but he dodges the maneuver and goes right behind Nick, looking for a German Suplex. But Nick Danger lands on his feet then grabs James in a roll up pin. }
1âŚ!
2âŚ!!
KICKOUT!
Terri Morasco: Nick tryinâ to surprise wily veteran as weâre five minutes in!
Vasco Dias: You ainât gonna beat James Gilmore that easily with a simple roll-up!
{James and Nick get up at the same time. Nick hits James with a knife edge chop to the chest. Then James grabs Nick in a small package pin}
1âŚ!!
2âŚ!!

Terri Morasco: Speed and surprise
Vasco Dias: This is startinâ to get fun!
{Nick Danger and James Gilmore get up at the same time again Nick Danger goes for a Superkick to James Gilmore face and James Gilmore counter with a Samoan Drop and then Nick Danger counters with a crucifix pin}
1..!!
2..!!
KICKOUT!
Terri Morasco: Whoa!
Vasco Dias: That was nearly a score right there!
{James Gilmore rolls to his and is meet with Nick Danger hitting James Gilmore with a running front dropkick sending him to the turnbuckle then follows up with a hesitation dropkick to the face of James Gilmore.Then grabs Gilmore on his head and send him outside to the mated floor. Nick Danger runs from the other side of the ring to the turnbuckle to pick up and hit James Gilmore with a Suicide Dive sending him to the guardrail. Danger then follows up a Tope Con Hilo landing on top of James Gilmore. Nick rolls James back inside the ring. Nick is about to look for a Springboard dropkick but James hit Nick with a European Uppercut.}
Terri Morasco: You can see the intensity has picked up as weâre fifteen minutes in!
Vasco Dias: Halfway through, no oneâs scored yet!
{Both Nick and James are stunned James looks for a another European Uppercut, Nick Danger counters with a Rope Hung Cross Armbar on the ropes to rare down James momentum}
Terri Morasco: I donât think Blue Shoes is gonna like this one...
Vasco Dias: Nickâs too close to the ropes.
{Danger holds the Rope Hung Cross Armbar for only 4 seconds before letting go and letting James feel the after effects of the Cross Armbar and James gets hit with a Slingshot DDT. Then Nick picks up James and locks both his arms around James' waist and hits him with a German Suplex. Nick Danger goes to the turnbuckles looking for a Springboard Roundhouse Kick, just then Jamesâs counter with a Samoan Drop}
Terri Morasco: Nick Danger just got plastered to the deck!
Vasco Dias: That oughta stop someoneâs mojo in a hurry!
{James Gilmore goes to the ropes and waits for Nick to get up to hit the Power Wave. As soon does flip over the top rope Nick Danger connect with Bicycle Knee Strike leaving James stun then grabs James into the Red Eye DDT head first on the mat and goes for the pin}
Vasco Dias: Could this be?!
Terri Morasco: Cover!!!

Alison Valance: Nick Danger has scored the first fall, making the score 1-0!
Vasco Dias: Touchdown Eagles!
Terri Morasco: What a surprise to see!
{Nick Danger take a breather for a moment then start to climb the top turnbuckle looking for a 450 Splash and jumps then James lifts his knees up and Nick ate nothing but knee and James rolls Nick a small package pin and Blue Shoes goes for a pin}

Alison Valance: James Gilmore has scored his first fall, making the score 1-1!
Terri Morasco: Touchdown Cowboys!
Vasco Dias: Oh, shut it Terri!
Terri Morasco: Now the plot thickens -- ten minutes left!
{Nick Danger holding his ribs in pain and James trying to get standing to where he is at now. The Islander alum breathes heavily as he closes his eyes, pondering his next strategy as the clock ticks down! Suddenly, Nick lunges at his friend and teacher, grabbing his arm and attempting to go for a cross-face chicken-wing, but Gilmore senses the danger and counters with a standing hammerlock! Nick reverses the hammerlock with one of his own as the crowd roars restlessly, knowing that one mistake could potentially seal the deal! Nick then proceeds to go for a hammerlock takedown and follows it up with the Danger Lock arm-trap crossface! }
Vasco Dias: Ruh-roh! I
Terri Morasco: Submission locked in! Can JJ hold on?!
{ Blue Shoes checks on Gilmore, but the ex-Islander is very defiant and doesnât want to quit! You can see the anguish etched on his face as the hold is tightented, but as the clock ticks toward five minutes...Gilmore manages to use his legs with all of his might, crawling towards that bottom rope! Danger doesnât realize the situation âtil its too late, and Blue Shoes immediately calls for the break as JJâs right hand grasps the bottom strand! Both men manage to pull themselves apart and toward opposite ends of the ring as we hit the two-minute warning! }
Alison Valance: Two minutes!
Vasco Dias: This is it, the last stand!
Terri Morasco: Both men are exhausted! The question is...who wants it more?!
{ JJ manages to pull himself back to his feet and has his eyes set on Nick! The Philly native manages to get back to his feet and moves forward, nodding his head in a sign of respect. At that moment, Danger tries to go for his signature Danger Lock once more...only for Gilmore to quickly place him in a cutthroat torture rack position! The fans roar as Nick is helpless, and JJ spikes his opponent to the deck with the HANG TEN! }
Terri Morasco: This has to be the end!
{ With less than a minute remaining, the Islander alum covers⌠}

{Both men stumble to their corners, virtually running on fumes and will alone as Blue Shoes restarts the match! It doesnât take long, however, to settle the deadlock -- Nick Danger comes running towards James Gilmore and is met with a dropkick to the chest. James Gilmore starts climbing the top turnbuckle setting up for a Diving Headbut.}
Vasco Dias: Hoo-boy!
Terri Morasco: JJâs takinâ a big risk!
{James jumped from the top and ate nothing but ground because Nick Danger moved at the last minute. Nick Danger springboard off the ropes and connects with Legacy Cutter. Nick Danger grabs James in an electric chair position and connects with his new finisher he calls THE FINAL CALLING.}

------------------------------------- IWF WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP BARBED WIRE MASSACRE MATCH Roberto Verona & JC Keeton vs Violent Tendencies(c) -------------------------------------
Terri Morasco: Welcome everyone to the top of the second hour of Open Fight Night! If you're just tuning in, we've already had an epic Iron Man Match tonight in addition to some other fantastic action. Now we turn our attention to a different type of metal as you can see by the ring, steel- more specifically, Barbed Wire. This one won't be for the feint of heart, Vasco.
Vasco Dias: Well let's hope Gilmore isn't watching in the back then. On a serious note though, Morasco- you're right. If you're wondering where the ropes went, there aren't any in this type of match. That's razor wire strung up from post-to-post. If you hit that, it's going to cut you. Those weapons you see laying all over the place at ringside have been put there on purpose for the competitors to use on each other. There's no count-outs or disqualifications. Everything is not only legal, it's encouraged! I can't wait!
Terri Morasco: I'm hesitant about the style of match. I'm afraid someone is going to be seriously injured here tonight. That was Terrella's stated intent when he issued the challenge to JC Keeton. We've seen Stephen Terrella try to hurt people before, and he has. The man doesn't have a conscious.
Vasco Dias: Then JC should have reigned in Jake Keeton when he said what he did. I don't feel sorry for JC Keeton. If anything I feel sorry for Roberto Verona and Chris Diamond. They're getting tied up in this because of JC. He had to have a tag partner, and he had to fight for the World Tag Team titles... because the man lacks the spine to take the medicine he had coming!
Terri Morasco: Okay, now all you're doing is echoing your friends- Violent Tendencies. Try being just a little bit objective for once. Why wouldn't JC Keeton want to become a Tag Team Champion? Why wouldn't Roberto Verona want to become a Tag Team Champion?
Vasco Dias: They can wish all they want... there are about seven different supermodels I wish I could marry, but sometimes wishing is all you get. The difference between them and me is I'm not about to get my ass kicked for a wish.
{ The lights in the arena all go out at "King of the World" by Porcelain and the Tramps begins to blare out of the PA system. Spotlights begin to scan the crowd before fixating on a figure at the top of the stage which is revealed to be Roberto Verona, his head bowed towards the floor. As cheers being to resonate around the arena Verona raises his head and he begins a slow methodical march down the ramp, the spotlight following him as golden pyro rains down from above on the stage. }
Alison Valance: Introducing first... one half of the challengers... making his way down the aisle... Roberto Verona!
{ Verona stares with disgust at the crowd who cheer him as he approaches the ring, but he doesn't react to them. As he reaches the steps he slowly ascends them before walking towards the middle of the ring apron, careful not to get too close to the wire as he turns around to look into the crowd one last time before looking up and closing his eyes as he stretches his arms out wide and basks in the adulation. After indulging himself Verona climbs into the ring, psyching himself up as he awaits the beginning of the match. }
Terri Morasco: Verona looks focused tonight. He's got a tall order ahead of him but violence has never been something Roberto Verona has shied away from. It will be interesting to see how JC Keeton and Roberto Verona work together though against an established tag team such as Violent Tendencies, who have had a very successful title reign so far.
Vasco Dias: Listen, Morasco, I don't doubt for a second Verona can get the job done. He's a legend in this industry. But I do have my doubts about his partner in this environment.
Alison Valance: And his tag team partner... hailing from Lexington, Kentucky... JC Keeton!
{The beat to "Born Legendary" by Emanuel Vo Williams hits.}
I crawled out the gutter I rose to the top My reign everlasting I canât be stopped I was made for the throne Rise up til I moan You been waiting on a ruler Well Iâm home
{ As soon as he says the word "Home" pyro explodes from the rampway as JC Keeton steps through the curtain. He makes his way to the ring bouncing in rhythm to the music. When he reaches the ring he leaps up onto the apron and steps through the barbed wire, He continues to sway and bounce from heel to heel as he awaits the match to start. }
Vasco Dias: This is what I'm talking about... he looks too loose to me. There is an angry, three hundred pound man that's about to come out here that wants to rip his head off and dribble it like a basketball. If JC doesn't let him, he could become a Champion again. But he's out here goofing off.
Terri Morasco: He's in his zone, Vasco. Would you have him come out here panicked and sweating bullets? JC is young, he's confident and he's doing this his way. He was the man who beat Ulf for the Television title doing it his way. He has wrestling in his blood. I trust he's ready.
Vasco Dias: He hits that wire and he's going to have Tetanus in his blood.
Alison Valance: ... and their opponents...
{ The lights in the arena darken to a pitch black. Sounds of an engine revving up bellow in the darkness. Two circular headlights flash on off to the side of the stage as the engine screams. After a few moments, the roar of the engine fades to more of a soft growl. The arena lighting rises with the opening instrumental to L7's song 'Shitlist', and a black 1969 Pontiac GTO Judge with blacked out windows starts to slowly roll down a path cleared on the side of the ramp leading to the ring. }
When I get mad And I get pissed I grab my pen And I write out a list Of all the people That won't be missed You've made my shitlist
Alison Valance: Entering the ring, being accompanied by Portia... Weighing in at a combined 555 pounds.. The King of Clubs... Stephen Terrella!... The Main Man... Chris Diamond! They are... VIOLENT TENDENCIES!
{ The GTO stops in front of the ring and the doors swing open. Chris Diamond hops out of the passenger side door, quickly grabbing his baseball bat from the backseat. Stephen Terrella climbs out of the driver side door, pushing the seat forward and helping Portia out from the back seat by the hand. Portia gives Terrella a quick kiss, and Violent Tendencies immediately go on the offensive.}
Terri Morasco: We're getting an abrupt start!
{ Terrella drags JC Keeton outside under the Barbed Wire as Diamond slides in the ring to go after Verona. Terrella strikes JC with a headbutt that staggers Keeton. JC fires back with a stinging right hand that Terrella absorbs with a turn of the head. Terrella answers with a hard left in response, driving JC back. Keeton retreats a few steps, baiting Terrella in. Stephen takes the Tag Title belt off, intending to strike Keeton with it. JC catches him with a beautiful dropkick coming in that that spins Terrella down on one knee. JC presses, but the crafty and unscrupulous King digs his fingers in JC's eyes. Unable to see, JC falls prey to an Irish Whip into the ring post. }
{ Meanwhile, in the ring, Diamond landed two hard rights on Roberto Verona. Verona fires back with a series of successive punches to Diamond's abdomen. Verona finishes the rolling of his last sleeve quickly, then blasts the Main Man with a running knee to the face. Diamond begs off, trying to play the veteran cat-and-mouse games with Verona when Chris realizes how close he came to bouncing off the barbed wire. Diamond turns and catches Verona with a pump kick coming in. The Main Man spreads Roberto's shirt wide, pressing his exposed chest onto the barbed wire- which draws the first trickle of blood for the evening. }
{ Outside of the ring Terrella takes hold of a steel chair draped in barbed wire. He brings the chair down flat across JC's back with a savage swing, pressing wire into flesh with the blow. Terrella winds up and connects with another chair shot! JC's back wears the marks of some scratches from the blows as he stumbles away to create some distance. Proving resourceful, JC grabs the ring bell and swings it at Terrella, who goes down with the force of the blow. JC uncorks a spinning uppercut as Terrella fights back to a knee, pushing Terrella into a retreat. Keeton lands a jumping knee strike, working to use his speed and quick strikes to make up for his size disadvantage. Then Keeton spots a barbed wire wrapped 2x4, which he plants between Stephen's shoulder blades, bringing some blood to the big man's back as it fells him. }
{ Just above, Diamond takes Verona to the canvas with a Russian leg sweep. Diamond smirks, glancing at the wire in the corner. He takes Verona by the throat and pitches him into the barbed wire corner, which sticks and rips into Verona's shirt as he attempts to pull himself off. Diamond laughs at Verona's misfortune, but the wily and dangerous Verona digs into his pocket and chucks a cloud of powder into the Main Man's eyes. Chris takes a few wild swings, missing his mark by a mile. Verona doesn't miss with a swinging neckbreaker, though. }
Terri Morasco: Roberto Verona gaining a firm advantage on Chris Diamond!
Vasco Dias: The Main Man can't see! This is incredibly unfair! Just don't crawl left, Chris! Don't crawl left! There are sharp, pointy things over there!
Terri Morasco: Verona to the outside quickly... looking for one of those barbed wire laced chairs... I can't imagine this will be good for the Main Man...
Vasco Dias: No! Don't go right either, Chris! That psychopath- I mean, our boss- is coming after you with more barbed wire!
Terri Morasco: Verona drops the chair... and there's a leg-drop bulldog for the Main Main onto the chair and into the wire! Diamond's face is laying in that wire! This is gruesome!
Vasco Dias: Chris is bleeding from the head now.... Anyone who had Chris Diamond as the last one to bleed in the office pool just won some cash.
Terri Morasco: What office pool?
Vasco Dias: I didn't mention it to you, Morasco. You couldn't have picked your guy, Ulf. I did however put fifty of your money on Keeton, though... so Greg is probably going to be looking for you after the show.
Terri Morasco: What!? No, I didn't bet! First off, that's barbaric! Second off, I didn't bet! I didn't bring cash tonight.
Vasco Dias: Don't tell me. Tell Greg.
{ JC chops Terrella across the chest, which draws a wince from the King. Portia seizes the opportunity to sneak up on JC from behind though and drag her nails down his back. It doesn't inflict major damage, but going over his scratches it's enough to slow JC. He turns toward her, telling her to back off. Terrella jumps Keeton from behind with a thunderous clothesline during the distraction which spins JC inside-out. Stephen then scoops Keeton up and drops his lower back over the barricade. }
{ The King takes another chair, laying it flat on the floor, and delivers a spinebuster to JC on the barbed wire. Keeton's back comes off it bleeding more heavily having had the bulk of Terrella's three hundred plus pounds behind the blow. Terrella stands over top of JC, turning him and hammering him with some clubbing crossface style punches as Portia verbally berates JC. Stephen isn't satisfied yet, though, now going for a television cable which he wraps around JC's throat and pulls tight, choking Keeton as Portia continues to yell at JC. }
{ Inside the squared circle, Diamond blatantly kicks Verona below the belt- taking full advantage of the no DQ stipulation. Verona is clearly in pain, and Diamond sends him reeling with a short-arm clothesline. Now the Main Man takes a turn sliding to the outside, fetching a barbed wire wrapped table and introducing it into the ring. Chris sets it up carefully, then snatches Verona and puts him through it with a t-bone suplex! Verona lays in the wreckage of the table, tangled in the wire, in too much pain to twist properly to free himself. Diamond goes for a cover, but Verona lifts a shoulder on two! Chris drills Verona with some rights. }
{ The Main Man lifts Verona from the debri by his hair. Verona's shirt has been sprinkled with red stains of blood, and the camera catches a shot of the plasma-camo look. Diamond paintbrushes Verona across the face, serving up a heaping helping of trash talk as he does it. Chris attempts to push Verona's eyes onto the barbed wire but Roberto blocks it with his hands. A struggle ensues, eventually leading to Diamond transitioning into a Masterlock on Verona. With the Masterlock secured, Diamond is able to force Verona's forehead onto the barbed wire, drawing blood. }
Terri Morasco: Oh my gosh... when is enough, enough?!
Vasco Dias: When someone's shoulders go down for the three, Morasco. When you sign up for a match called Barbed Wire Massacre the risks are pretty clear. Verona is the one who stepped up and volunteered himself for this. Diamond has a title to keep.
Terri Morasco: Verona lifts a leg!... Low-blow on Diamond!
Vasco Dias: That did more than take the wind out of Chris' sails! It's a good thing Rob had kids to carry on the family name because the Main Man's chances may have just went down!
Terri Morasco: Verona's forehead has been painted in blood... but he still has fight... he has Diamond by the throat... and there's a chokeslam onto the wreckage of the broken table and barbed wire!
Vasco Dias: You can't do that to the Main Man! Think about the hit to the merchandise sales for this company, Verona! We have five thousand fake skin masks in the back covered in dust that aren't going to sell themselves!
{ Verona follows up with a hard punt kick to Diamond's skull! Terrella and Keeton have been trading blows on the floor in the meantime after Terrella finally released the choke. Keeton takes a beer from a fan in the front row and chucks it in Terrella's face, blurring his vision. JC seizes the opportunity to execute a pump kick that catches Terrella square. Another guy in the front row hands JC Keeton a cheese grater! Keeton holds the grater up, eliciting a pop from the crowd. }
Vasco Dias: What is this!? What type of lunatics are we letting in here, Morasco!? Who brings a cheese grater to a wrestling show!?
Terri Morasco: I... don't know. I'm a little hung up on where he kept it? JC Keeton isn't unsure what to do with it though! He's running that cheese grater over the top of Terrella's head!
Vasco Dias: Portia is distraught! Her man is being carved up like... cheese!
{ Roberto slips a barbed wire covered piece of plywood into the ring. He cinches Diamond up and snap suplexes him on the barbed wire board!! JC clips Terrella with a tornado kick on the floor, sending him crashing like a stone. Above them- in the ring- Verona drives his knee into Diamond's already bloody forehead. The camera angles shifts to the floor again to catch JC Keeton dropping a rising Terrella with a cutter onto the floor! Verona gives him a nod, and then Roberto builds some steam and topples Chris Diamond with the 'Madam Guillotine!' }
{ Portia intervenes, placing herself between JC Keeton and Stephen. She digs in a purse she brought, explaining to JC that she has money if he'll, "apologize on behalf of his father and just walk away from this." Portia tries to use her feminine assets a bit, apologizing and saying, "the money is in here somewhere." Verona slides out, instructing her to move. She says, "okay," but when she pulls her hand out of her purse she has a thing of pepper spray in it! She douses Verona in the face and eyes with it!! }
{ Before JC has a chance to even react, Terrella is on him from behind. Terrella rams Keeton's lower back into the apron, and starts throwing hard left-handed shots into JC's guts which bring his feet up off of the floor. Groggy, Diamond joins them on the floor. He kicks Verona down, and Portia extracts a pair of handcuffs from her purse, holding them up for the crowd to see. Verona is blind and defenseless, and Diamond drags him over to the post where Portia cuffs him to the ring post. }
{ The crowd boos as Diamond throws some right hands in Roberto's direction. Portia takes a microphone from the Alison Valance, announcing to the crowd that: "We didn't forget. Now the great Roberto Verona will know what it feels like to be handcuffed and have everything hinge on a partner, the way we were in Heir To The Throne! Enjoy the view, Roberto... well, what you can see of it." Portia laughs, tossing the microphone back at Alison. }
Terri Morasco: This is ridiculous! They've turned this match into a handicap match essentially! We need to get some help down here to free Roberto Verona!
Vasco Dias: It's genius, Morasco! Can we just stop with the outrage for a minute and appreciate the thought and planning that went into this? This is why I love Violent Tendencies- they're smart and they're dangerous.
Terri Morasco: So you're condoning pepper spraying the man who signs your paychecks and handcuffing him to a ring post?!
Vasco Dias: Well, no, not when you put it that way. I didn't exactly say that...
Terri Morasco: Yes, you very clearly did- almost word-for-word. I wonder who they'll have doing commentary with me when you end up facing Abraxes?...
{ Terrella rolls JC Keeton into the ring, and JC catches some scrapes on his arm from the barbed wire on the way in. Diamond slides carefully beneath the ropes and Terrella follows as Portia walks around proudly on the outside, inciting the crowd. JC valiantly tries to fight both men off, but the numbers overwhelm him as they reign down blows. Diamond throws some stomps to JC on the canvas. The Main Man hoists Keeton up over his head in a Press position as Terrella readies himself in the corner. Chris drops Keeton with a press slam over his knee. Terrella gets in a three-point stance, waiting on JC to get up. When Keeton eventually does, Terrella cuts him in half with a spear! }
{ There's no rest for the battered JC as Diamond quickly pounces, locking JC's arms in an underhook position and delivering a powerbomb! Portia slides some chairs in for her team. Terrella takes hold of one of the chairs and blasts JC on the ankle with a punishing shot. Portia applauds her man as Stephen repeats the blow, leaving JC twisting in agony. Diamond waves off the chair, brandishing his bat instead. The Main Man takes a turn now, bringing the bat down on JC's ankle! Diamond winds up and does it again! Terrella moves in, inserting JC's ankle inside the chair. With all his might, Terrella stomps down on the chair with the full force of his three hundred pounds as JC yells out in suffering! }
Terri Morasco: They're trying to break JC's ankle! This is a damn mugging! This isn't right!
Vasco Dias: This is what the kid signed up for, Morasco.
Terri Morasco: No, he didn't. He signed up to wrestle a damn match, Vasco. And Diamond brings the bat down on the chair! They're absolutely heartless! Thankfully we've got some staff down here spraying Verona's eyes with water... and it looks like they've brought some tools to try to free him.
Vasco Dias: I don't get the outrage, Morasco. If the roles were reversed you probably wouldn't be half as mad.
Terri Morasco: I doubt they'd be reversed because most competitors don't push it this far!
{ Terrella removes his belt and starts whipping Keeton over the back with it. Diamond jokingly tells his partner to leave a little left to pin. Work continues outside on freeing Verona as the carnage inside the ring carries on. Terrella grabs JC's leg, putting him in a sloppy- but effective, given the damage done- spinning toe hold. Diamond presses the barbed wire bat to JC's forehead, taunting him. Diamond brings the butt of the barrel of the bat down on JC's chest while he's in the submission, then strikes him in the forehead! }
{ Terrella releases the spinning toe hold, pins JC's ankle to the mat and stomps down on it. He keeps hold of JC's leg, twisting it into a stretch muffler. Keeton has blood coming from multiple places now as the official asks him if he wants to quit, but Keeton defiantly shakes his head in refusal through the pain. Diamond gathers some steam and delivers a running kick to JC's face, then turns and taunts Verona. Terrella feigns blowing snot on Keeton, giving him the middle finger immediately afterward. }
Terri Morasco: This is getting hard to watch. JC Keeton is a bloody mess. He may have serious damage done to that ankle. But the kid isn't going to quit, and that's what scares me.
Vasco Dias: No, he isn't- and neither will Violent Tendencies. This is where the kid needs someone to talk some sense into him. Put away your pride and fight another day.
Terri Morasco: Diamond just tossed JC into the corner like a rag doll! And here comes Terrella!... Silver Crush against that wire! And then Diamond!... Fistful Of Dollars! Please, pin him! End this!
Vasco Dias: Oh shit! Verona's loose! And I don't like that look!
Terri Morasco: Roberto Verona is free!... and I'd imagine there may about to be hell to pay!
{ Verona grabs a toolbox the staff brought to free him and charges the ring. He catches Diamond with a kick to the gut as the Main Man charges in. Terrella moves for Verona, but Roberto brings the toolbox up under Terrella's chin, jolting his head back. Terrella crumples, and Verona brings the metal toolbox down over Terrella's back with reckless abandon! Chris attempts to help his partner, but Verona kicks him in the knee, following it up with a knee to the Main Man's face! }
{ Verona slams the box on the canvas, opening it and pulling out a screwdriver- drawing a roar from the crowd! Verona kneels down over Diamond and repeatedly jabs the screwdriver into Diamond's forehead as the Main Man's legs kick and the crowd counts along to ten! Verona isn't finished, however! He goes into the box again, pulling out a staple gun! He lifts Terrella's head off the canvas, stapling away on the top of Terrella's bald head until the gun runs dry! }
{ Verona snatches Terrella up and drills his head into the mat with the 'Brainwasher' to Portia's dismay! Roberto wipes at his eyes, still feeling a bit of effect from the mace. Out of the corner of his eye he notices Diamond inching for his bat. Verona gets up and walks over, putting a foot on the bat. He lifts Diamond up by the hair, and Chris is bleeding profusely. Verona steps back and delivers a 'Silencer' to Chris Diamond! }
Terri Morasco: Roberto Verona has been a one man wrecking crew!
Vasco Dias: Ok, just gloss over the fact that he literally just used every tool at his disposal, Morasco! Terrella has more staples in his head than Frankenstein, and the Main Man was assaulted with a screwdriver!
Terri Morasco: Verona's going into the toolbox one more time!...
Vasco Dias: What now!? Does he want to saw someone's leg off!?
Terri Morasco: Is that... duct tape!? He just pitched JC Keeton the duct tape... and he's pointing at JC's ankle. Keeton nods... and he's... he's taping up his ankle with duct tape! I've never seen anything like this!!
Vasco Dias: JC Keeton needs a hospital, not merchandise from Home Depot! What is going on!?
{ Verona offers JC a hand up, and JC accepts. Verona next offers up JC Keeton one of the barbed wire chairs, which JC happily takes. He limps over to Terrella and brings the chair down over Terrella's back! Verona drags Diamond over so JC can do the same to Chris! JC spins and pummels Terrella with the chair again! Then it's once more for Diamond! JC pivots on a dime and places the chair under his bad leg, and then leg drops the King with the aid of the barbed wire chair to the crowd's delight! Terrella has blood streaming down his face and back. }
{ Verona takes the bat and rakes it across Chris' face slowly and deliberately while Keeton puts the barbed wire chair on Terrella's chest. JC rallies the crowd, and leaps up and does a double stomp onto the chair, smashing Terrella underneath! Portia grimaces on the outside, and then screams at the crowd to shut up. JC instantly collapses from the pain, having landed hard on his damaged ankle. With everyone down, Verona goes outside and digs under the ring, producing a barbed wire sheet of plywood that appears to be rigged with some type of detonation device!!! Verona cautiously places it under the wire and into the ring. }
Vasco Dias: Mr. Verona, please!... What are you doing!? No one said anything about an exploding barbed wire match! You can't do this to our Tag Team Champions!
Terri Morasco: I've just received a note actually that Hannah Reed inserted language in the contract specifically allowing this, if any competitor would so choose.
Vasco Dias: Where!? Can we get that contract!? Knowing Verona, he probably had one of those people that carve the words on rice grains etch it on the bottom of the page! I'm crying foul!
Terri Morasco: Verona and Keeton are working together... bringing Chris Diamond over to the board...
{ The challengers team up, both placing a hand under Diamond's throat, and double chokeslam him on the board! A boom echoes throughout the arena as pyrotechnics shoot out from beneath Chris! Diamond convulses in the barbed wire! A loud "This is awesome!" chant breaks out from the raucous crowd! }
Vasco Dias: Gah! The Main Man may be toast! The IWF will never be the same! This is horrible!
Terri Morasco: Oh but look out! A bloody Terrella just steamrolled Verona! Roberto just got mowed down like he was hit by a truck!
Vasco Dias: The champs aren't done yet!
{ JC Keeton swings on Terrella, blasting him in the jaw. The King staggers, but turns and fires back. JC twists down to a knee, but comes up with a spinning uppercut that rocks Terrella! The crowd chants "J-C! J-C! J-C!" Keeton fires off a tornado kick that brings Terrella down! }
{ Terrella slowly brings himself to his knees, battered and bloodied. He finds himself there staring down JC Keeton and Roberto Verona, who are both far from unscathed. Terrella gives them both middle fingers. JC Keeton tattoos Terrella across the chest with a kick, and Roberto Verona runs in seconds later with a running knee to the face! Keeton rips some barbed wire from one of the chairs, wrapping his arm in it and applying a bulldog choke! }
Terri Morasco: JC Keeton is wrenching on that choke with everything he has! We may be about to have new tag team champions!
Vasco Dias: Terrella isn't tapping! He's not giving up that title without a fight! The man has barbed wire under his chin, and is being choked out... but I think he's running on rage and hatred! He doesn't want to tap out to JC Keeton!
Terri Morasco: How long can he last, though!? I can't imagine the pain going through his body!
Vasco Dias: Until Keeton kills him, I'd say!
Terri Morasco: JC wrenching down more, and blood is beginning to pool under Terrella in the ring! Just tap out!
{ Portia looks on, horrified at what she's witnessing. Having seen enough, she runs over and grabs a towel off the timekeepers table that had been placed there for clean up when the match is over and throws it in the ring. }
Terri Morasco: Wait, is that it!? Portia tossed the towel in!
Vasco Dias: Yeah, that's it, Morasco... maybe mercifully...
{ The official calls for the bell as JC releases the hold. }
Terri Morasco: I don't disagree. In that black heart of hers' I guess there's even a point where you can't sit and watch someone you love torn to shreds. She may have saved him from himself. This match was brutal, bloody and barbaric... it was everything we knew it'd be going in, and maybe them some. The story of the match though is we have new World Tag Team Champions in the end!
Vasco Dias: Unfortunately, we do. I have to give it to Keeton and Verona though- they just walked through hell to win those titles! We knew Keeton had heart, but tonight we saw he can also get dirty. Maybe that's Verona's influence, I don't know. I'm looking at these new Champions though, and I don't know who beats them. They just dethroned what was the premier tag team on the planet in a blood bath.
{ The official hands one of the titles to Verona, then the other to Keeton as Portia can be seen knelt next to Terrella in the background in a white dress now soaked in Terrella's blood from where she's been cradling his head. Chris Diamond still lays on the barbed wire board, having not moved since being chokeslamed there earlier. Keeton raises his title to Verona, and Verona raises his belt in the air and bumps it against Keeton's; a toast of sorts to a new partnership. }
Alison Valance: Your winners of the match and NEW WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS... ROBERTO VERONA... AND JC KEETON!
{ The new Champions raises their belts high for the crowd as the fans in attendance roar, and with that image the show goes to a break. }
------------------------------------- SEGMENT Stupid Short Segment, or is it Short Stupid Segment -------------------------------------
{The arena lights go down and the glow of cell phones light up the stands. A deep voice speaks over the sound system, âMay God have mercy upon my enemies, because I wonât.â Strobes begin to flash in time to the gun fire like opening of Five Finger Death Punchâs This Means War. Pyro erupts with the opening lyrics as the lights come up revealing the The Brothers Knight and Johnny Somebody.
Nick and Johnny are dressed for action in matching purple trunks and James is sporting The Brotherhood track suit. Slowly the trio make their way towards the ring, head on a swivel just waiting for an attack from members of The Church of Crosse. Once inside of the ring âThe Hollywood Butcherâ takes a microphone as as the music fades he begins to speak.}
Nick Knight: When I took Johnny Somebody under my wing itâs because I saw something in him that I donât think to many people ever have, heart. All the years I have been training students that is the one thing Iâve found that truly matters in a student. I have had seven foot tall giants fail because theyâre just lazy piles of shit training to wrestle because someone put it in their heads they should because theyâre big. Then Iâve had guys like Gabriel Crosse that have worked their asses off and got to travel the world making a living as a professional wrestling because they have heart.
I am not going to lie the last couple of weeks have tested Johnnyâs heart, because heâs honestly been getting the shit kicked out of him. Every day has found him working in the ring with a pretty damn good amatuer wrestler, an up and coming professional kickboxer, a number guys over at Trauma MMA. He has done everything that I have asked of him and more and every single day he has gotten better, but most importantly just being better is not good enough.
Tonight is going to be a test of exactly how far he has come in his training. The time for sitting at home talking about how much heâs improved is over. Itâs time to prove to the world that Johnny Somebody is more than just enhancement talent. So Team Diversity Hire get your asses down here so Pocket Hercules and I can kick them.
------------------------------------- INFERNO MATCH Gabriel Crosse vs Gregor Winter -------------------------------------
Alison Valance: The following contest is an Inferno Match!!! The only way to win is to set your opponent on fire!
Introducing first from The Church of Crosse Compound Gregor Winter!!!
{Personal Jesus by Lollipop Lust Kill begins to play as red lights begin to flash slowly before lights come up on the stage. As the music swells, dim light begins to come up on the stage, now shrouded with smoke as two silhouettes fade into view. As the guitar kicks in hard, the lights flash onto the stage revealing the members of the The Church of Crosse. Gregor Winter and Jack Ferriman slowly make their way towards the ring ignoring the reaction of the crowd.
Once at ringside Gregor slowly laps the ring taking in the elaborate burner system that has no purpose other than setting his opponent ablaze. Grinning from ear to ear the big man climbs into the ring to await the arrival of Gabriel Crosse.}
Teri Morasco: Gregor Winter is looking nothing if not confident.
Vasco Dias: Of course heâs confident. He just about ended the career of The Nightmare Dragon last time they were in the ring together.
Teri Morasco: Iâm just not sure how you can be confident in match where someone is getting set on fire.
Alison Valance: His opponent from Edinburgh, Scotland by way of Sin City. He is âThe Nightmare Dragonâ Gabriel Crosse!!!
{The arena lights go down and the glow of cell phones light up the stands. A deep voice speaks over the sound system, âMay God have mercy upon my enemies, because I wonât.â Strobes begin to flash in time to the gun fire like opening of Five Finger Death Punchâs This Means War. Pyro erupts with the opening lyrics as the lights come up revealing the three men known as The Brotherhood.
Gabriel Crosse is in the center wear a silver dragon scale mask over his face and silver tights trimmed in purple. Flanking him on either side are The Brothers Knight wearing matching The Brotherhood track suits. âThe Nightmare Dragonâ reaches ringside and climbs inside without a second of apprehension.}
Vasco Dias: That idiot Gabriel also seems to be showing no fear
Teri Morasco: Why should a dragon fear something like fire?
Vasco Dias: What he should be fearing is the Viking heâs in the ring with Teri.
{The two men stand across from each other jawing back and forth while the pyrotechnic rig is lit and flames shoot thirty feet into the night sky. Gregor Winter wastes no time charging across the ring looking to drive the smaller Crosse through the ropes and into the fire, but the Dragon sees him coming and a drop toe hold bounces the skull of the bigger man off of the bottom rope and nearly engulfs his long beard.}
Teri Morasco: This match was nearly over before it could even have a chance to begin
Vasco Dias: You seriously think that a drop toe hold is how Gregor Winter is going to lose the match?
Teri Morasco: I think underestimating Gabriel Crosse could be how he loses the match
{Gabriel stands back and allows Gregor to climb to his feet before dropping the big man back to one knee with a well placed drop kick. The smaller man then follows up with a shining wizard that already has Winter on dream street. A spinning heel kick was set to finish the job, but âThe Modern Day Vikingâ was prepared and catches the kick and sending his opponent head over heels with a modified suplex.}
Teri Morasco: Gabriel Crosse made a huge mistake going to the well one time too many
Vasco Dias: Yes and now he's going to burn!
{Gregor stalks after Crosse with a look of evil in his eyes. Pulling the smaller man to his feet by his mask he hammer throws him into the corner followed by the cartwheel splash known as The Alaskan Gold Rush. Out on the floor Jack is yelling for Gregor to put Gabriel out of his misery, but the big Viking just shakes his head. He is not just satisfied with winning the match, he wants to inflict as much pain as possible. Lifting 'The Nightmare Dragon' from where he is slumped in the corner, Winter quickly plants him with a big powerslam that sends flames shooting high into the air. Showing agility that should be impossible in a man his size 'The First Apostle' kips up and begins kicking at Crosse and laughing.}
Teri Morasco: Gregor Winter is just toying with 'The Nightmare Dragon.' He obviously is not taking this match seriously
Vasco Dias: Why should he? Gabriel Crosse has not shown a single person in IWF that he's good for anything more than riding Nick Knight's coattails. Well that and getting his ass kicked by Brother Gregor
{Winter continues to just play with Crosse until the smaller man shoots his foot up and lands an up kick that is a very blatant low blow.The Viking stumbles back a few steps before crumbling to the mat and clutching his nether region in agony.}
Vasco Dias: Ring the bell thatâs a disqualification! Teri Morasco: You that this match is no pin falls, no submissions, only fire
{Crosse lays in a series of stiff kicks to the spine of Winter before signalling to the other members of The Brotherhood. Nick and James grin at each other and reach under the ring and slide out a table.}
Vasco Dias: When in the hell are those two doing?
{The Brothers Knight pick up the table and throw it over the burners and into the ring. Gabriel immediately goes to work setting up the table in the center of the ring, while a few feet away Gregor Winter is slowly climbing back to his feet. Seeing the monster out of the corner of his eye Crosse turns and jumps up on Gregorâs shoulders looking to send him crashing through the table with a hurricanrana, but âThe Modern Day Vikingâ is just too strong to take over. Laughing maniacally Gregor charges into the corner hitting a buckle bomb before planting âThe Nightmare Dragonâ through the table with a powerbomb, sending flamed high into the air.}
Terri Morasco: Viking Funeral! Gabriel Crosse is out, all Winter has to do is drag him over the the burners.
Vasco Dias: Letâs go Brother Gregor! Do this for âThe True Unholy Son!â
{Clearly talking trash Winter grabs Gabriel by the ankle and begins dragging him towards the edge of the ring. Closer and closer they go until Gregor stops and begins to kick âThe Nightmare Dragonâ towards the flames. Crosse rolls over once and then there is what looks like an explosion in the center of the ring and Gregor Winter falls back screaming. Slowly âThe Nightmare Dragonâ climbs to his feet and a gout of fire shoots from his mouth engulfing Winter. The big rolls trying to put out the flames but he continues to burn until finally a member of the IWF staff can climb into the ring and use fire extinguishers to put him out. The medics hit the ring next and are seeing to the injuries of Winter.}
Vasco Dias: That smell is disgusting!
Teri Morasco: Ladies and gentlemen we need to take a break while the best medical staff in the world sees to Gregor Winter
------------------------------------- SEGMENT "What did she say?" -------------------------------------
{ Backstage we see Willy Carter as he catches up with Shelly Diamond. Willy stops Shelly in the hall way. }
Willy Carter: Shelly, what did Tara say to you out there earlier?
{ Shelly looks annoyed but let's out a sigh. }
Shelly Diamond: She said she was going home to see Edward before...
{ Shelly looks at the World Championship on her shoulder. }
Shelly Diamond: Before she comes to take this.
{ Shelly adjusts the weight of the belt on her shoulder. }
Shelly Diamond: But if I were Tara Fenix? I wouldn't go promising little Edward anything special about next week. This belt is staying right where it is and the only thing Tara Fenix is taking home is a broken f**king ego!
{ With that Shelly turns and walks away as we head back the broadcast area. }
------------------------------------- IWF MEN'S WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP SINGLES MATCH Rob Diamond vs Ulf Hednir(c) -------------------------------------
Summer Thompson: So we have the main event. I have chills!
Ella Kelley: Chills?
Summer Thompson: Ulf Hednir and Rob Diamond fight? Two hall of fame level talents fighting for the world title! How could I not have chills?
Ella Kelley: I just think it will be hot.
Summer Thompson: You think everything will be hot.
Ella Kelley: Did you see the conversation about Ulf giving people âThe Lookâ?
Summer Thompson: We arenât talk about that.
{The opening introduction for âRaise Your Hornsâ by Amon Amarth plays over the PA system, and the crowd goes into a frenzy! The music can barely be heard over the sound of the fans. Ulf Hednir quickly shoves the curtains aside, dressed in his wolf headdress, and marches out onto the stage with his drinking horn held high over his head.}
Ulf Hednir: SKĂ
L! Crowd: SKĂ
L!
{Ulf drinks from the drinking horn, and after, turns it upside down to show the crowd that there is nothing left. Ulf attaches the drinking horn to a strap hanging off his belt, and marches down the ramp to shake hands or high five many of the fans along the ramp; fans scramble to get as close as they can and he takes an extra moment to ensure he greets as many as he can. Ulf goes around to the right side of the ring, still greeting as many fans as he can until he reaches the timekeeperâs table, where he removes the headdress and the drinking horn, placing them on the table. He walks up to the apron and leaps up, grabbing the ropes, and leaning back to let loose a mighty howl.}
Raise your horns, raise them up to the sky, We will drink to glory tonight! Raise your horns for brave fallen friends, We will meet where the beer never ends!
{The chorus plays over, and Ulf steps between the middle and top ropes before parading around the ring a bit, raising his arms from each side of the ring. He stands by and waits for the match to start.}
Summer Thompson: Ulf Hednir, our current World Champion, father and honestly such a great champion. He does some really good public works.
Ella Kelley: Doesnât hurt that he has looks I wouldnât kick out of bed for eating crackers.
Summer Thompson: I⌠What does that even mean?
{ The lights in the arena go dim but they do not go completely out. The crowd waits in anticipation when the opening riff of Bad to the Bone by George Thorogood hits. The entire arena screams out as one as the graphics on the screen show some of the many highlights of the career of Rob Diamond. The lights in the arena start to strobe pink as the second, third, fourth and fifth riffs all hit with pink pyro launching out of the stage and just as the lyrics kick in, Rob Diamond steps out to a huge ovation! The crowd is chanting "ROB! ROB! ROB!" as Diamond throws the X up over his head before heading down the ramp. Rob makes it a point to slap hands with the fans at either side of the lower end of the ramp and then makes his way around the ring, even stopping to grab a picture with a young boy dressed like Dean Harper. Rob finally makes his way into the ring via the ring steps and runs across to the far corner, jumping up and throwing the X up over his head again as a pink pyro X launches on top of the ramp! }
Alison Valance: Introducing, weighing in at two hundred and five pounds, he is the BLOOD SOAKED CINDERELLA OF PRO WRESTLING!!! ROB DIAMOND!!!!
{ After the introduction, Rob spins off the ropes and falls back into one of the corners of the ring, kicking up his legs to rest on the second rope and looks quite relaxed. }
Summer Thompson: Here we have Rob Diamond! Totally great to see him back in the ring.
Ella Kelley: And he is looking delectable, am I right?
Summer Thompson: Heâs married!
Ella Kelley: Iâm open to a threesome.
Summer Thompson: You are so gross.
{The main event is a classic matchup, pitting veteran savvy and a desire to reclaim the spot as the top dog against youthful power and a need to etch a legacy into stone. From the outset, the gameplan for both men is clear: Rob targets the neck with his mix of brawling and technical savvy, trying to weaken and stiffen the neck to set up for the killshot, while Ulf is content to let his power carry him through, cutting off Rob with explosive flurries and forcing him to pick and choose his moments. Each man has their moments to shine: Rob counters a Thor punch attempt into a snap dragon suplex, nailing a second, then a third, before drilling Ulf with a running big boot and punctuating it with a crushing ATOMIC LEG DROP across the throat! Ulf kicks out narrowly, though, and the battle rages.
A few minutes later, Rob catches Ulf as he ducks his head and drops to his back, firing off an uppercut to the throat before spinning back up and stomping on Ulf's foot, hauling him in for a Dominicus Driver attempt, but Ulf scoops Rob up and spikes him neck-first with a nasty VALHALLA DRIVER! Rob throws his shoulder up in time, though, and Ulf hauls him up by the hair, whipping him into the corner before crashing in with a leaping splash, then repeating the process to complete the FURY OF THE GODS! Rob has just enough wherewithal to duck the follow-up Thor Punch, clearly having the big move scouted, and snakes an arm up, rolling up Ulf for a near-fall!
Nearly twenty minutes have elapsed, and both men are stumbling to their feet, even Ulf's epic resilence and Rob's legendary stamina being tested by the barrages unleashed between the ropes. Rob delivers a wild haymaker to Ulf, who responds with a lunging headbutt that cracks Diamond between the eyes! Ulf hauls in Rob, looking for the BLOOD EAGLE! He has Rob in the Gory special! One arm hooked TwâROB YANKS HIS ARMS FREE AND SPINS AROUND ULF WITH THE DIAMOND CUTTER!
ONE!
TWO!
THREE!
NO! Ulf Hednir's foot found the bottom rope! Wearily, begrudgingly nodding his head at the display of ring savvy beyond the champion's years, Rob drags him up, setting up for another Diamond Cutter slowly, deiiberately, lacing his fingers in a cravat to stabilize Ulf's head against his shoulder for maximum impact, ONLY FOR ULF TO PUSH ROB OFF! Rob lands back-first on the mat, arching his spine in pain, and STANDS INTO A THOR PUNCH! Ulf collapses into the cover, snaking his arm around Rob's leg for the ONE! TWO! THREE! "Raise Your Horns" plays over the PA as Ulf groans, slumping back and releasing Rob's leg.}
Alison Valance: Here is your winner, and STILL IWF Men's World Champion, Ulf Hednir!
{Ulf slowly rolls off Rob, being handed the title, and struggles to his feet, brushing off Blue Shoes' assistance with a grateful nod. As he does, Rob stirs, pushing himself to his feet with a wobbling stagger, both men cheered wildly by the crowd. Rob closes the distance, speaking inaudible words to Ulf as he points at the belt, before patting the main plate twice and offering Ulf a handshake. The gesture is heartily returned by the champion, and they shake firmly before Rob raises Ulf's hand, nodding for a moment before letting go and stepping out of the ring. Sacrifice ends with Ulf Hednir celebrating in the ring, another successful defense of the World Title to his name...and as Rob walks backstage, the familiar figure of Caleb Lockwood watching from atop the ramp, a smirk on his face.}
