------------------------------------ HOUR ONE ------------------------------------
Summer Thompson: Hi Guys, Gals and Non-binary pals! It's me! Summer and Ella from usually the second half of the show! Today we are taking over the whole show again!
Ella Kelley: And nothing will stop us.
Summer Thompson: I mean, I'm sure that's not true.
Ella Kelley: Nah. ------------------------------------ HIERESS TO THE THRONE MATCH Selene Gold and local talent Betty Ford vs Sorcha Wynne and Caroline Machado ------------------------------------
{Caroline Machado and Sorcha Wynne had an incredible showing against Selena Gold and Betty Ford! The latter, a proud woman from Scotland making her in-ring debut, looked impressive throughout the first sequence...taking down the inexperienced local talent with a pair of armdrag takedowns, followed by a striking combination and a German suplex among a host of stalwart maneuvers. Sorcha would tag Caroline in, and the Brazilian would go to work on Selena with her own MMA and jiu-jitsu prowess! The match lasted just under eight minutes as Caroline and Sorcha made quick work of Betty and Selena -- and eventually, Caroline was able to lock in a pin! }
------------------------------------ HIERESS TO THE THRONE MATCH Tara Fenix vs Gretchen Winston ------------------------------------
{ The match started with Gretchen looking to play the aggressor early on. She was landing strike after strike against Tara, but Tara would avoid an early attempt from Gretchenâs âFixinââ to rebound back and start to attack Gretchen with a series of fast attacks that showed off how vicious her own kicks were. Gretchen held her own against the veteran in the striking game, and every time that Gretchen looked to be getting any sort of momentum in her favor, Tara would snuff out her momentum by hitting her with something big. Tara would earn the first near fall after the Fallen Phoenix, but Gretchen was able to kick out.
That kick out seemed to shift the momentum into Gretchenâs favor, and she was hitting Tara with everything she had; the action spilled out of the ring in which they fought back and forth but Gretchen still maintained the advantage⊠Tara beat Gretchen into the ring and attacked her before she could get back to a standing position as she got back into the ring.
Tara was able to batter Gretchen down long enough before finally getting her put into the Tara Lock but a costly mistake from Tara allowed Gretchen to get the rope break; Tara seemed angry that Gretchen didnât tap out, and Gretchen was able to catch her for a near fall with an inside cradle to get a near fall! Tara was able to shift her weight, and the two went back and forth on pin falls for several attempts until Tara finally rolled free. Gretchen looked to hit her with Bless Your Heart! But Tara COUNTERED! Tara landed on her feet behind Gretchen, and took her down with a cobra clutch slam before getting Gretchen locked in the middle of the ring with the Genocide kick. Tara pins her for the win.}
Winner via pinfall: Tara Fenix!
------------------------------------ HIERESS TO THE THRONE MATCH Xiuhua "Dizzie" Zhou vs Dixie Winston ------------------------------------
{ The opening riff of "Hell on Heels" - Pistol Annies starts and as the guitar kicks in with the baseline stomp Dixie Winston emerges from the back, she stands on the entrance way and lifts on hand in the air throwing up the horns before making her way down to the ring. She runs up and slides across the apron on one knee lifting her hand on the air before sliding between the apron and the bottom rope. }
{ The lights around the stage shift to several shades of blue as âCome For Meâ by New Years Day begins to be heard on the sound system. The crowd erupt into cheers as Xiuhua âDizzieâ Zhou makes her way out, all smiles as she gauges the fans and gives a nod of appreciation before making her way down to the ring. She hops up to the apron, wiping her feet and taking a second to bow her head on the top rope. In time with the music, she raises her head, showcasing that smirk of hers once again, hopping into the ring with ease right after. She then steps to the center, jokingly posing with an arrogant point to herself, tongue playfully out. Dizzie of course canât hold in the laugh and lets it loose before flipping the switch, looking all business as her music fades to silence. }
{ Dixie Winston is on Zhou almost immediately as the opening bell rings. Winston's gameplan would seem to be to turn the match into more of a brawl, and she does so by pummeling Dizzie early with some hard punches and stiff kicks. Winston is able to back Zhou into a corner, and there she fires a headbutt down onto Zhou's forehead, rocking Xiuhua. Winston rips Zhou out of the corner, sending her tumbling to the canvas. Dixie plays to the crowd some, drawing a smattering of cheers from an audience that seems to be largely behind Zhou in this contest. Dixie goes to the top rope, setting up for a double foot stomp; but the earlier exchange with the crowd costs Dixie as Zhou rolls out of the way. Winston tweaks her knee on the landing. }
{ Zhou wastes no time targeting the leg of Winston. Dizzie works over Dixie's knee for a few minutes with a series of strikes and technical wrestling holds designed to inflict pain and ground the high-flyer. The assault enables Xiuhua to work herself into a position to pull from her MMA background and lock Dixie in a rolling kneebar. The official for the contest, Tommy Knocker, checks in with Dixie to see if she'd like to quit. Dixie refuses, however, showing some real fight. Winston works herself into a sitting position, places both hands on the inside of Dizzie's top knee, pries her legs open and buries some elbows into Zhou's inner thigh for the escape. }
{ Both women come up with limps, with Dixie's clearly being much more pronounced. Dizzie moves in, blasting Dixie with a series of alternating forearm shots to the jaw and chest. Dixie throws both arms around Dizzie's waist and tries to use her power to bull rush Zhou into the corner, but Dizzie utilizes the strength in her legs and her slight weight advantage to put on the brakes. Zhou then executes a Gutwrench Suplex that leaves Dixie flat on her back. Zhou reaches down and brings Dixie up, hoisting her into position for a Samoan Drop- but Dizzie does some squats with Dixie on her shoulders before planting her into the mat. With the air driven out of Dixie's lungs, she's vulnerable prey. Zhou pounces, performing her version of flying omoplata that she calls 'The Zhou Trap'; and being trapped in the hold in the center of the ring, there is no escape for Dixie from this submission hold and she is forced to tap out. }
Winner: Xiuhua "Dizzie" Zhou by submission [Time: 11m 43s]
------------------------------------ SEGMENT ------------------------------------
{ The lights in the arena darken, and blue and white spotlights are cast upon the stage. Snow falls from the rafters, gently dancing in the lights, and landing softly onto the stage as the opening to Nonpoint's "In The Air Tonight" echoes throughout the arena. Jessé Marchand steps out from behind the curtain first, followed closely by Travis Reinhart. Marchand kneels on the stage with his head bowed, tapping his fist to his nose three times; while Reinhart stands behind him and runs his thumb across his throat in a slashing gesture. }
{ Reinhart and Marchand begin to walk toward the ring with a cool and quiet confidence. Both men pause at the bottom of the ramp, holding up the middle two fingers on their right hands in a "V" shape for the camera. Marchand slides underneath the bottom rope into the ring while Reinhart heads up the stairs and leaps over the top rope. They climb opposite corners, perching themselves on the middle turnbuckles. Marchand surveys the arena, looking side-to-side while Reinhart glances back over his shoulder toward the ring with a bit of a smirk. Both men hop down and Travis collects a pair of microphones from Alison Valance. }
{ Travis hands Marchand a microphone as the music fades. Travis takes a breath in the middle of the ring before speaking. }
Travis: Last week we wrestled Leo Hemmingway and Alek Bronson in the main event... and we won.
{ Reinhart's statement draws a bit of a mixed reaction from the crowd, with Hemmingway and Bronson clearly having some supporters in attendance on this night who were not at all pleased with the outcome. }
Travis: I'm not going to stand here and say it was easy because the truth is it wasn't. For two guys that really haven't teamed much, they put up one hell of a fight. We respect that. The thing of it is- as hard as the match may have been- for us the outcome was never in doubt... because you can train as much as you want, but you can't replicate the type of continuity Jessé and I have built as a team in a week's time.
{ Travis pushes his braids away from his face with his free hand. He looks into the camera with an air of confidence about him. }
Travis: We didn't come out here though to talk about Leo and Alek. We came out here tonight to talk to JC Keeton and Roberto Verona. So... Champs, you listening?
{ Travis smirks as he surveys his surroundings. Marchand brings the microphone to his lips. }
Jessé: June seventh, this year... Minneapolis, Minnesota- JC Keeton stood in this ring coming off a victory over Ulf Hednir for the World Television Title, and he thanked Ulf for making that belt- in his opinion- the most important one in this company.
{ The crowd pops huge, forcing Marchand to pause. He nods, paying respect to the match they had and the crowd's response. }
Jessé: We get it... we do. They tore the house down, and at the time JC may not have been wrong... it may well have been the most talked about title in this company. JC would later go on to preach about how he wanted to continue raising it to new heights, and how he hoped it'd motivate other title holders to step up... and then he went on to call the then World Champion, Warren Kane's, reign stagnant.
{ Marchand smirks. }
Jessé: It's funny, really... you see Travis and I, we study everything. At that time, Warren Kane had defended his World Title twice after winning the title; which for those keeping score is more than we've seen JC Keeton and Roberto Verona defend those World Tag Team Titles since winning them almost two months ago.
Travis: That's a bit hypocritical, JC, wouldn't you say? Or have you been too busy changing diapers and shagging the old flame to notice?
{ The crowd boos a bit, but neither Vendetta member pays them much mind. }
Jessé: The way we see it you and Verona railroaded Violent Tendencies into a match for those belts because Terrella wouldn't be smart enough to find his way out of a giant, wet paper bag; and for all the talk you both do of wanting to measure and test yourselves, you ran and hid. Where's that passion from the two of you now? The passion that you had when you won that Television Title, JC? The passion you had when you were tearing through everyone in Heir To The Throne, Roberto?
{Travis speaks with a fire in his voice, adding: }
Travis: Tag Team wrestling is everything to us! Those belts... winning those belts... would mean everything to us! We don't want them so we can put them in a trophy case somewhere while we fly around the world in expensive suits and fancy jets, or go play house. We want them so week-in and week-out we can come out to this ring and wrestle, and continue to prove why we're the best damn tag team in the world today!
{ Marchand pats Travis on the back. }
Jessé: Our message is a simple one- we want to wrestle the two of you for those Championships you hold. We've grown tired of the hiding and the excuses. Either give us a match, or come out here next week and tell us who we have to beat to get it... and we will beat them. Ignore us... and I guess we'll just be forced to find a different way of communicating that to you.
{ Marchand drops the microphone as Vendetta's music hits. The two men take their leave to a rather mixed reaction from the crowd. }
------------------------------------ SINGLES MATCH Jason Williams vs Denny Winston ------------------------------------
{ The lights dim then thereâs a sudden loud explosion. Thatâs when âSave a Horse Ride a Cowboyâ kicks over and Denny Winston comes walking out laughing a little. Denny strikes a flexing pose on the stage. As the music kicks it up again, the flash of pyros burst upward, and the lights come up as Denny makes his way down to the ring, slapping hands along the way. He slides in the ring, and poses in the corner, waiting for the match to begin. }
{ Visions - Surfing hits. After allowing the guitar instrumental to play out for a short while Jason Williams takes to the stage, soaking all of the atmosphere in; the lights, the fans, the noise. He slaps a few hands as he makes his way to the ring, not so much that he goes out of his way to do so but he's not going to actively ignore people. He climbs the steel steps and walks the apron for a moment, glancing once more at the fans before entering the ring through the middle rope. He'll take position in the centre and stare at the hard-cam, hands clasped behind his back, as he prepares for battle. }
{ Jason offers up a handshake to start, which Denny accepts with a short but respectful shake. The two men test their technical prowess against each other to open the action. Denny holds his own during the exchange, but the veteran experience of Williams helps him to come out of the exchange with an edge. Williams ends up applying a rear chinlock off of a snapmare at the five minute mark in the match. The official for the contest, Blue Shoes, checks with Winston to see if he wants to give up. However Winston vehemently waves Blue Shoes off. }
{ Winston proves slippery, using his speed to spin out of the chinlock and into a front arm-bar on Williams. From there Winston forces Williams down to the canvas, and Blue Shoes goes into a count... but Williams brings his right shoulder up on two, using some of the count to collect himself. Jason works his way up. Denny surprises him with an Arm wringer Pele kick. Winston targets the neck of Williams, working it over for a good three minutes with an array of moves. Everything appears to be working toward setting Williams up for the Yeet, but Denny spends a bit too much time at the end trying to drum up some crowd support for himself before he goes for his 'Flippy Shit' springboard moonsault and he crashes and burns when Jason raises his knees. }
{ Williams rattles off some kicks to Winston's chest, and then rocks Denny with an Enzuiguri. Jason alertly drags Denny to the middle of the ring and turns him into a Boston Crab. Winston bites at his fist and pounds the mat, hunting for an escape as he pushes through the pain. Denny struggles to crawl a country mile before finally reaching the shelter of the bottom rope. Williams gives a clean break on Blue Shoes command Denny pulls himself up with the aid of the ropes. Williams wastes no time moving on the advance once more with a European Uppercut. Winston returns fire with an European uppercut of his own. }
{ Winston attempts a snap suplex, but it's blocked by Jason and countered into a slingshot suplex! Jason backs off as the anticipation builds in the audience. As Denny rises and looks for his bearings, Jason strikes with a Flying Knee to the Gut, winding Denny. Williams connects with Seeing Stars a beat later, landing Denny in real trouble. As the young newcomer pushes himself to stand one more time he's met with the 'Last Call' from Williams! Jason covers Denny, hooking the leg and scoring the three count for the win! }
Winner: Jason Williams by pinfall [Time: 16m 05s]
------------------------------------ HOUR TWO ------------------------------------ Summer Thompson: Hope everyne had a good holiday or at least had fun.
Ella Kelley: I got drunk.
Summer Thompson: of course you did.
------------------------------------ SEGMENT ------------------------------------
------------------------------------ HIERESS TO THE THRONE MATCH Rowan MacDonnough vs Candy Kane ------------------------------------
{ The moment the bell sounded, Rowan was on top Candy like a predator catching its prey! Candy did her best to try to defend herself, but the ruthlessness behind each of Rowanâs strikes was proving to be far too much and she was quickly being battered down. Just as Rowan looked to put the match away early, Candy was able to avoid the Beast of War from Rowan! Candy made an attempt to get in some offense at this point, but each strike only seemed to fuel Rowan; Rowan was able to connect with a vicious kick to the back of Candyâs leg before, in one swift sequence, hitting Balorâs Gaze! Rowan covered Candy with ease. }
Winner via Pin fall: Rowan
------------------------------------ SEGMENT ------------------------------------
------------------------------------ HIERESS TO THE THRONE MATCH itami vs Jolene Winston ------------------------------------ {Personal Jesus by Lollipop Lust Kill begins to play as red lights begin to flash slowly before lights come up on the stage. As the music swells, dim light begins to come up on the stage, now shrouded with smoke as three silhouettes fade into view. As the guitar kicks in hard, the lights flash onto the stage revealing the members of the The Church of Crosse gazing into the crowd and taking in their reaction. Winter, Ferriman, and Itami walk slowly to the ring smiling as they take in the insults of the infidels.}
{Jolene Winston comes out as "Girl in a Country Song" by Maddie & Tae begins to play. The crowd gives her a happy reaction as she walks to the ring. As she walks to the ring, she talks into the camera smiling before shoving it to the side playfully. The camera then looks down to the ring, as she sprints the rest of the way to the ring, sliding underneath the bottom ropes. She pops up inside of the ring and goes into a corner.}
{The match started off very even with well placed knee strikes and Judo throws helping Itami to counter the fast paced and DDT heavy offense of Jolene. After elbowing her way out of a Brainbuster attempt from Itami the middle Winston child took control of the match nearly ending it with a Backdrop Suplex but Jack Ferriman was able to place Itami's foot on bottom rope top break up the pin. After multiple interfaces from the Church of Crosse the rest of the Winston clan ran down and stopped that nonsense allowing Jolene to hit Made for Walking, turning Itami inside out and allowing her to score the victory.}
Winner: Jolene Winston via pin fall 7:22
------------------------------------ SEGMENT ------------------------------------
------------------------------------ HIERESS TO THE THRONE MATCH Virginia vs Birdie Winston ------------------------------------
Alison Valance: The following match is for one fall! Terri Morasco: I am really excited to see how this match turns out. I think it will be the highlight of the evening! Vasco Dias: You would be. Virginia is going to take this rookie to the cleaners. {The lights turn purple and Follow Your Arrow starts playing Birdie Winston jogs out and does variations of silly dances and a back flip. She makes her way down the aisle and executes a unique front-handspring from turnbuckle corner to the ring.} Alison Valance: First down to the ring, weighing in at 136 pounds, standing at 5â2ââ from Greenville, Alabama⊠Birdie Winston! Terri Morasco: Birdie is still pretty new into Imperial wrestling but she certainly made an impact here. Vasco Dias: Sheâs going to wish sheâd skipped tonights match. {The lights in the arena start to flicker as the intro to âBitch Better Have My Moneyâ hits the speakers. Smoke pours out onto the stage as Virginia Stepanov steps out. She walks to the head of the ramp, looking around for a moment before she shoots a high front kick into the air to show off and then makes a finger gun with three punctuated âshotsâ towards the crowd ad the appropriate time in the song.
She struts down the ramp, mouth moving to sing along to her entrance as her head bobs along with the song. When she gets to the ring she jumps onto the apron, hanging onto the rope and leaning out towards the crowd, throwing a finger gun with another three shots before she steps through the ropes. She slips her coat off and hangs it in the corner..} Alison Valance: Last down to the ring, weighing in at 150 pounds, standing at 5â7ââ from New York, New york⊠Virginia Stepanov!
