The incident took place in the main parking lot outside the campus of Rising Dragons, a wrestling and martial arts academy located near Dallas-Ft. Worth International Airport. Witnesses on the scene reported to both Grapevine Police and the Tarrant County Sheriff that the suspect then ran off in a white Chevrolet pickup truck.
Mr. Gilmore has been transported to Baylor, Scott, and White Hospital in Dallas, where surgery is ongoing to remove the bullets from his leg. While no further details of his condition are known, doctors are very optimistic that he will make a full recovery.
