”I’m gonna be honest with you guys?”
“I’m not following the other promos.”
“I don’t care who is entering the Roulette this year. I don’t care what they’ve done. I don’t care what they have to say about it. All I care about is me.”
“Is that selfish?”
“Yup. This is a selfish business. We can’t all be winners. We can’t all be champions. We can’t all be the Greatest of all Time. Sure, we can share the spotlight, form teams, have epic battles that showcase how amazing a few of us are.”
“But at the end of the day there can only be one winner.”
“And there isn’t a match where that is more true than the Roulette.”
“Everyone in IWF will be in this match. Names from our past will be in this match. Names from around the world are invited this year to be in this match.”
“And maybe if we’re lucky the Ace will climb out of his own ass and be in this match.”
“Thankfully, Nighthawk hasn’t earned work release yet so he definitely will not be in this match.”
“My point is this is the single biggest match of the IWF Calendar year. This may be the single biggest match in all of professional wrestling. Anyone can just walk in and get lucky and earn themselves a main event spot at Night of the Immortals.”
“But how many people really deserve it?”
“How many of you deserve it?”
“It’s a serious question that no one can answer in real time so I’m going to give you my answer.”
“NO ONE!”
“Not a single damn one of you deserve that spot. I don’t care if you’re Leo Hemmingway and you’ve been setting the world on fire for the last several months or if you’re Warren Kane trying to fight your way back to the top! I don’t care if you’re Jason Cashe, Mickey Jones or Matt Knox!”
“No one deserves that main event spot more than me.”
“I know I was gone for a long while. Being a man and giving birth to a baby takes a lot out of you.”

“I have WORKED my ass off to be where I am today.”

“Yet I am still not recognized in the same breath as Angel, Spike or Roberto.”

“I’ve beaten all of them. I’ve won more than all of them. I’ve held more titles than all of them. I'm still here, still active, still taking bookings whenever asked while Angel is a special attraction, Spike is pretending he's dead and Roberto just shows up whenever he wants!”

“And for the first time in my career I’m not trying to make any of you mother fuckers laugh. I don’t care if you find what I say accidentally funny as long as you start to recognize me for the talent that I am!”

That was close. Who knew toddlers could move so fast? Well, I guess I should but I forgot.
{ Rob is currently on the other side of the huge estate getting ready for the Roulette in the lavish home gym. We find Rob running the ropes, performing random side rolls and forward rolls to work on his cardio. }
”Looking good.”
Finally.
{ Rob turns around to see his brother Chris leaning against the water cooler in his leather jacket and skin tight jeans just looking like the coolest middle aged man to ever grace the Earth. }
”Thanks, wish I could say the same about you.”
How do you even get a leather jacket to look worn but cool!?
”To what do I owe the pleasure?”
”Well-”
{ Chris says as he moves toward the ring. }
”I just wanted to let you know I’m all healed up and planning to enter the Roulette.”
”Is that so?”
”Sure as fuck is.”
”I’m glad I’ll have a challenge out there.”
”Me too.”
I know ya’ll watching don’t get it but I’ve waited my entire life to hear Chris say that…
