------------------------------------ IWF Presents: High Stakes Preshow ------------------------------------
{The camera pans out through the sold out crowd as the theme for High Stakes is blaring. The fans are cheering and waving there signs all about. “#BringBackWyatt”, “Diamond Family supremacy”, “WHERE'S THE DEANxWARREN SEXTAPE” “Virginia is going to kill someone” “Wraith, my sister wants your #” “Shelly, I am down to be your next X husband” “Vendetta deserves better ” “ Is Shelly Miscavige still missing?” “High Stakes Ya’ll” And loads more. The camera pans further and we see the pre-show panel.}
Summer Thompson: HELLO EVERYONE! Welcome to one of high light pay per views and one that I’m sure a lot of fans look forward to every year. Not only do we have a PACKED show tonight! We have so many title matches! The match that shapes the Night of Immortals for the men’s world title. Welcome to the show guys, gals, and non-binary pals. How are you doing?
{Crowd behind her cheers.}
Uriel Black: I think we’re all doing pretty well. Shall we get to it? Summer Thompson: Right. Well, to start off the night we have the Television world title match between Matthew "The Raven" Knox and the current champion Pax Stormcrow. Anyone have any thoughts?
Rayne: Pax is a good champion and he’s carried the Television belt for a while but you have to know that Matthew Know has wrestled for a number of companies as well as being the founder and instructor of Corvid Combat Academy. You don’t get the resume he has without expecting him to come out on top. He’s coming to IWF because he thinks he can win and honestly? I believe him.
Summer Thompson: I hope Pax retains. He’s been really working hard with the belt and I hope he gets to keep working at building the title up.
Robert Henderson: It’s unfortunate but while Pax is skilled there is a disadvantage to Mr. Stormcrow. But having never seen Mr. Knox perform I can’t cast my vote here as I don’t know much about his style. Rayne: Cop out answer, Robert.
Uriel Black: I’ve got to side with Summer here. Know might be a heavy hitter but he’s a grandfather at this point. Pax has got youth and that fighting spirit. I don’t doubt Pax will retain here.
Summer Thompson: Okay. Next we have the tag team match between the soon to be wed couple Warren and Dean facing off against Vendetta. Predictions and why?
Uriel Black: I can personally say I wouldn’t want to be in the ring with Warren and Dean this week.
Rayne: That’s because you are still scared Warren is gonna stop turning the other cheek and beat your shit in for what happened with Dean.
Uriel Black: Hurtful.
Robert Henderson: I think Vendetta will retain here. They might not have the experience that Warren and Dean have in this company but they have been struggling and fighting to get these belts. I think that passion will benefit them.
Uriel Black: You want passion? Did you hear the way Harper was talking? There’s gonna be blood shed.
Rayne: Ugh. I hate to agree with Uriel but there is likely going to be a bad night to get in Dean’s way.
Summer Thompson: I actually agree with Robert though. I think Vendetta is going to be retained here.
Rayne: It’s going to be bloody though, I think we can all agree there.
Summer Thompson: Next we have our current Imperial Diamond champion Virginia Stepanov coming for the Women’s world title belt currently held by Shelly Diamond.
Uriel Black: Okay but you can’t discount the amount of legends in IWF that Shelly has cast down the mountain. Shelly, with a bullet. She is on the high of her life and I don’t think there is going to be anyone who is prepared for what she can unleash.
Robert Henderson: Virginia has been the imperial Diamond champion twice. She’s been holding onto that belt with a vice grip. She’s not someone to discount.
Rayne: Right. But Shelly Diamond? Come on.
Summer Thompson: Virginia came in with the Belle of the Brawl event. She’s proven herself against stacked odds before.
Summer Thompson: Next we have the men’s world title match against Nick Knight vs Wraith l match. Anyone have any favorites? Robert Hendersen: I think we really have to process that both Nick Knight, a veteran of the sport and Wraith, a second generation wrestler will be putting on a very good match and their tactics will be something for future talent to study.
Rayne: How Centralist of you, Robert.
Robert Hendersen: Now see here-
Uriel Black: I think Nick Knight has this in the bag. He has the skill and has been handling that whole church of crosse mess for a year. He’s pumped to get things done. Summer Thompson: I personally think Wraith is going to hold onto the belt a little longer. He’s been trained by one of the best in the business and he’s been doing things in other companies to keep his skills sharp. Rayne: I have to side with Summer here. Wraith is a fenix. He’s had some of the greats help him in his career. He is not going to let the victory against Ulf be a one off. He’s gonna try to hold onto that belt long enough to face whoever wins the roulette.
Uriel Black: Speaking of… Summer Thompson: Right! So last match of the night! We have the Roulette! 30 men enter. One wins a world title shot at IWF’s big show Night of the Immortals. Who do we see coming out on top? Robert Hendersen: I think it’s hard to pick who will come out on top without knowing the entrance numbers. It’s one of the first years that hasn’t been released before the match. But of what we know… I have a feeling the winner will be someone who wasn’t booked earlier in the night. It’s hard to have the stamina to maintain the athleticism to go through a title match followed by the hell that is the roulette. Rayne: It’s been done before. Personally? I think it will be Rob Diamond. He’s come back in like a bullet and I don’t see that going to waste.
Uriel Black: Matthew Knox. He seems to have the right level of hardheaded need to prove that I think he can really be the upset. Or Cashe. Summer Thompson: We do know Pax is coming in at number 30. I think it’s likely he will be the freshes man in the fight and he’ll make that work for him.
Robert Hendersen: But it’s also possible being the last one in will mean they will be prepared for him.
Summer Thompson: Well, that’s all the time we have! See you next Pay Per View! Assuming we all still have jobs then!
------------------------------------ IWF WORLD TELEVISION CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH 1K RP Word Limit Matthew "The Raven" Knox vs Pax Stormcrow(c) ------------------------------------
Vasco Dias: Welcome back to High Stakes!
Terri Morasco: Next up we have the IWF World Television Championship!
Vasco Dias: The outsider. Matt Knox takes on the champion, Pax Stormcrow!
Terri Morasco: This is going to be amazing!
{ The opening guitar to "Overcome" by Creed rips through the speakers as the houselights dim to a dull blue. A smoke billows at the top of the entrance ramp, and as the verse starts Matthew Knox steps out onto the stage, dressed in his ring pants, hands taped and wearing a sleeveless hoodie. He stands with his head bowed
"Don't cry victim to me Everything we are and used to be is buried and gone Now its my turn to speak Its my turn to expose and release whats been killing me I'll be dammed fighting you, it's impossible, impossible! Say goodbye, with no sympathy!"
As the Chorus kicks in, Matthew rips the hood off and throws his arms up, setting off a pair of pyros behind him. He then makes his way down to the ring, slapping outstretched hands on the way. He slides under the bottom rope and heads to each corner, slapping his chest and raising his arms to pump the crowd up
"I'm entitled to overcome Completely stunned I'm numb Knock me down throw me to the floor! There's no pain I can't feel no more I'm entitled to overcome, overcome"
As he finishes, he leans against the ropes as if testing them once, then picks a corner and squats, waiting for the bell with a calculating look on his face. }
Vasco Dias: Matt Knox is a legend in the business!
Terri Morasco: It’s amazing to see him standing here in an IWF ring!
Vasco Dias: I completely agree!
{ The lights in the arena dim, and there is the sound of a powerup collected in an old video game system. At the sound, the crowd leap to their feet with cheers A beat is laid out, filling the arena with the sounds of a Midi file. The lights pulse in time with the music. As they flash as the beat trembles, an explosion of sparks rocks the entrance stage. Pax walks out onto the stage, looking around as the crowd bursts into cheers. He gives a smirk as the chanting on Suplex by A Tribe Called Red kicks in.
He stands at the top of the ramp, lifting his right fist into the air with his head down, bobbing his hooded head along with the music before marching down to the ring. He slides into the ring and jumps onto the second turnbuckle, throwing his hood off and hyping up the crowd with yells before slipping his coat off and letting it fall to the ground. }
Vasco Dias: Pax Stormcrow is ready to go!
Terri Morasco: Pax made an open challenge to all of the wrestling world and Matt Knox answered, I hope our champion is ready!
Vasco Dias: I know that Matt Knox is!
{ The bell sounded and Pax and Matt met at the center of the ring, Pax tied up with Matt but Matt wasn’t about that technical wrestling life style. Matt over powerd Pax and sent him flying across the ring with a double choke toss. Pax came right in and picked the leg of Matt and brought him to the mat. Pax pressed his advantage and tired to submit Matt right then and there but Matt fought back. The two men got back to their feet and Matt Knox fought back. Knox hit clothesline followed right up but a spear! Knox tries to cover but Pax kicked right out!
Pax then took control of the match and brought Matt down, Pax worked over the legs of Matt, Pax ripped and teared at the ligaments of Matt Knox for several minutes as Knox tried to escape to the ropes but Pax had him dead to rights. Pax only brought Matt to his feet to hit a Saito suplex and nearly get the pinfall but Matt was able to kick out. Pax continued trying to break down Matt Knox. Pax had Mayy dead to rights in the center of the ring for Chaos Theory! Matt Knox was down but was able to kick out.
Matt Knox fought his way back to his feet and managed to drive Pax back. Knox drilled Pax with a big time DDT and followed it right up with a Spear! Knox brought Pax back up and nearly took his head off with a clothesline! Matt Knox made the cover vut Pax was able to kick out! Both men got to their feet and Pax tried to take Knox’s head off with palm strikes before hitting the Olympic slam! Pax pulled Matt up and Knox fought back with a European upper cut! Matt went to the corner and connected with the Nevermore! Pax was down and Knox covered for ONE! TWO THREE!!!! }
Alison Valance: Your winner and NEW IWF WORLD TELEVISION CHAMPION!!! MATT KNOX!!!
{ Matt Knox stands in the center of the ring with his newly won Television Title over his head! }
------------------------------------ IWF WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH Warren Kane and Dean Harper vs Vendetta(c) ------------------------------------
Terri Morasco: We're going to shift our focus to tag team action now. Vasco, tonight we're going to see the team of Dean Harper and Warren Kane challenge our Champions, Vendetta. Dean and Warren are certainly the more decorated stars in this contest, but there are those who'll question if maybe they they shouldn't be in this position just yet. Remember, this is a wedding gift from the company. Even Warren himself has said the optics may not necessarily be great. What do you think?
Vasco Dias: Who cares about the optics, Morasco? If you get a title shot, you take the title shot. It's called opportunity. Trust me, not everyone gets a gift this nice for their wedding. Besides, do you think I'm going to sit up here and say Dean Harper doesn't deserve this, when he's in the building?! Ooooh no. No... no... no. I may be a man of morally questionable fabric, but I'm not an idiot. He's going to walk out here in a few moments, and I like my skull. It houses my exceptional brain.
Terri Morasco: Exceptional rings a bit strong, don't you think? Nevertheless, what do the challengers have to do in order to walk out of here tonight as champions?
Vasco Dias: Dean and Warren are titans in this business. If they can stay out of Vendetta's corner, and they wrestle the way we've seen them wrestle countless times before, I like FSK's chances.
Terri Morasco: What about on Vendetta's side?
Vasco Dias: They've risen to meet some big challenges to become champions. They dethroned Roberto Verona and JC Keeton to win those belts. I don't think the moment will be too big for them, but they need avoid the mistakes of youth. I'm not putting my money on them, but they have a puncher's chance.
{ Alison Valance is standing in the ring, ready for introductions. }
Alison Valance: The following contest is scheduled for one fall, and it's for the IWF World Tag Team Championships! Introducing first, the challengers...
{ The opening riffs of “CASUALTY” blares through the arena as the crowd gives off a mixed reaction. Dean comes onto the stage first, offers his hand to Warren who steps on stage next. Dean lifts Warren's hand to his lips kissing it softly before walking down the ramp towards the ring. }
Alison Valance: Making their way down the aisle, weighing in at a total combined weight of 390lbs.... Dean Harper and Warren Kane... FSK!!!
{ Warren spends time on the ramp greeting fans and makes his way into the ring. Dean rests his head on Warren's shoulder, content to wait for the match to start. }
Vasco Dias: FSK, what do you think that's an acronym for, Moraco? Freakin' Skull Killers? Feral Sick and Kinky? Knowing Dean, I bet it's dirty.
Terri Morasco: What if Warren thought of it?
Vasco Dias: Warren is too nice for the guesses to be fun, Morasco! I refuse to entertain the thought that it was his idea! I didn't spend three hours on Urban Dictionary last night looking up words that start with those letters for it to be something wholesome! I mean look at this word right here...
Terri Morasco: You can't say that on the air! Give me that paper!
Vasco Dias: Get off me, Morasco! No one said I couldn't say it!
Terri Morasco: No one said you could! Now let go!
{ The lights in the arena darken, and blue and white spotlights are cast upon the stage. Snow falls from the rafters, gently dancing in the lights, and landing softly onto the stage as the opening to Nonpoint's "In The Air Tonight" echoes throughout the arena. Jessé Marchand steps out from behind the curtain first, followed closely by Travis Reinhart. Marchand kneels on the stage with his head bowed, tapping his fist to his nose three times; while Reinhart stands behind him and runs his thumb across his throat in a slashing gesture. }
Alison Valance: Coming down the aisle... weighing in at a combined weight of four hundred fifty-two pounds... The Iceman... Jessé Marchand... and The Clipper... Travis Reinhart... they are the IWF World Tag Team Champions... Vendetta!!
( Reinhart and Marchand begin to walk toward the ring with a cool and quiet confidence. )
Well, when you told me you were drowning I would not lend a hand I've seen your face before, my friend But I don't know if you know who I am Well, I was there and I saw what you did I saw it with my own two eyes So you can wipe off that grin I know where you've been It's all been a pack of lies
{ Both men pause at the bottom of the ramp, holding up the middle two fingers on their right hands in a "V" shape for the camera. Marchand slides underneath the bottom rope into the ring while Reinhart heads up the stairs and leaps over the top rope. They climb opposite corners, perching themselves on the middle turnbuckles. Marchand surveys the arena, looking side-to-side while Reinhart glances back over his shoulder toward the ring with a bit of a smirk. Both men hop down and remove their jackets as the lights rise and the song begins to fade out at the 01:53 mark. }
Vasco Dias: You're as much of a buzzkill as Vendetta is, Morasco.
Terri Morasco: Some of us are professionals, Vasco. I also happen to like being employed, so there's that.
{ Reinhart steps out and takes a tag rope for Vendetta, and Dean does the same for FSK. Official Jessica Andrews signals for the bell, and the match gets underway with Marchand and Warren starting off. }
Terri Morasco: We've got a tie up to start! Marchand and Warren are pretty evenly matched in size, but Marchand is driving Kane back into the corner slowly. The official wants a clean break, and it looks as if we may get one...
Vasco Dias: Marchand with an insulting pat on Warren's chest, and I don-
Terri Morasco: Marchand exploding into Warren with a European Uppercut under the chin in the corner! Not to cut you off, Vasco, but there's another uppercut from Marchand! A third shot for Warren now! So much for a clean break.
Vasco Dias: The only person who likes a good clean break is a doctor, Morasco, because they can charge you a fortune.
Terri Morasco: Marchand with a belly-to-belly suplex on Warren!
Vasco Dias: He may be about as charismatic as a flat stone, but Marchand does throw some beautiful suplexes.
Terri Morasco: The Iceman following it up with a chinlock, looking to wear Warren down now...
{ Warren grimaces in the rear chinklock, feeling Marchand's knee digging into his upper-spine. Warren keeps his arms up, signaling to the official he's nowhere near done. Looking for an escape, Warren's eyes dart from side-to-side. The crowd is rallying for Warren, and Kane is able to get his hands behind Marchand's head and stand him up. Warren drops down into a jawbreaker, plastering Marchand's chin. Kane comes out of nowhere with a Pele Kick, stunning Jesse. Marchand staggers, leading to Warren catching him with an Implant DDT! Kane quickly covers, and the official slides into position! Jessica's hand hits the canvas for... One!... Two!... No!! Marchand shoots a shoulder up just after the two count! }
Vasco Dias: The Iceman's heart might've skipped a few beats there! We almost had new Champs.
Terri Morasco: Warren tags out to Dean, bringing the fresh man in. Harper cinches Marchand up, and there's a snap belly-to-belly suplex into the corner! Marchand crashes hard!
Vasco Dias: There won't be much pity from Dean. But there's a little cheapshot punch on Reinhart from Harper! Morasco, do you think in a few years, when Dean and Warren are in couples counseling, Warren is going to be whining how Dean always breaks the rules?
Terri Morasco: What? How did they end up... I don't understand how you got from here to there.
Vasco Dias: Like half of all marriages end in divorce. It's a logical flow. Try to keep up.
Terri Morasco: Harper with a slingblade now on Marchand! Dean is pushing the pace... quickly following up with a roll-through Russian Leg Sweep... and into a flipping legdrop on Marchand! Say what you will about Dean, but when he gets rolling, it's hard to argue that he isn't fun to watch! If only he was less... psychotic.
{ Harper covers Marchand, and the official is in perfect position for a count. Jessica's hand slaps the mat for One!... Two!!... No!!! Marchand kicks out after Harper neglected to hook a leg. Dean blatantly chokes Marchand on the canvas, taking every bit of the official's five count before releasing. Harper goes in again with a choke, cutting off Marchand's air supply for as much of the count as he can. Dean winks at the official, then throws a few right hands at Marchand. Dean stands and races for the ropes, looking to build some momentum, but Reinhart buries a knee into Harper's back to halt it. Dean's knees buckle, and Travis snaps Harper's throat over the top rope! Now it's Harper gasping for air, and Marchand scores some payback on Dean with a bulldog that drives his face into the mat! }
Terri Morasco: Marchand tags out to Reinhart, bringing the Clipper in for the first time in this match up. Reinhart looking to do damage on Harper now...
Vasco Dias: Isn't that like saying Reinhart is looking to do what you're supposed to do in a wrestling match? Seems somewhat obvious.
Terri Morasco: Reinhart with a forward Russian Leg sweep on Dean, and Harper's in a bit of trouble. Axe Stomp from Reinhart directly on Dean's chest!
{ Reinhart covers Dean, drawing his leg tight, and the official fires off a count... One!... Two!!... but Dean kicks out!! Travis pulls Dean up by the hair, placing him in a standing side headlock to keep control. Reinhart guides Harper toward the Vendetta corner, cutting the ring in half. Travis tags Marchand back in, and the duo make use of the official's count to hit a 'Double Shot' on Dean! The combination blow cuts Harper down, but the opposition doesn't allow him to stay there for long. Marchand drags Dean up, picking him up and putting him down the hard way with an inverted atomic drop! In some pain, Dean is easy prey to a fisherman's suplex from Marchand. Jesse holds onto it, creating a pinning situation to try and retain the titles. Jessica slides into position again, getting a workout for the evening. Her hand goes down for the One!... Two!!... No!!! Marchand can't hold the pin! }
Terri Morasco: The Champions were within an eyelash of walking out of here with a successful defense!
Vasco Dias: Who's eyelashes we talking about? We talking regular eyelashes, or the Lady Gaga kind? You really have to break it down for these people, Morasco.
Terri Morasco: Marchand brings Dean to the corner with him, and there's another tag to Reinhart! Vendetta really working the tags. We're going to have another double-team it looks... They both whip Dean across with a hammer throw...
Vasco Dias: So we're not getting into eyelashes, I take it?
Terri Morasco: No. Vendetta going for a couple double back elbows, but Harper ducks under the shot! Dean rebounds... Head-scissor DDT to Reinhart! Travis is down!
Vasco Dias: Warren in to help Dean out with a Enzuguri on Marchand!
{ Dean rakes Travis' eyes, and then fights to get Travis up in the air, where he positions him for a Snake Eyes! Harper charges for his own corner with a head of steam and drives Reinhart's face into the top turnbuckle! Dean makes the tag to Warren, and the crowd pops! Kane climbs the turnbuckles! Harper cracks Reinhart with a jawbreaker, leaving Travis on wobbly legs. Warren comes off the top in quick succession with a diving lariat! Warren crawls on his hands and knees for a quick cover, hooking Reinhart's near leg! The official drops down for the count... One!... Two!!... No!!! Reinhart puts his farside leg on the ropes at the last split second! Kane puts his hands on his head in disbelief. }
{ Reinhart is nearly deadweight when Warren goes to lift him, but Kane does manage to get him up into a new corner. Warren drapes Travis' arms over the ropes, and starts blistering his chest with a series of knife-edge chops. Kane sets the Clipper up for the 'Splosion, but Marchand illegally dives into the back of Warren's knee with a chopblock to break it up! Half out of it, Reinhart instinctively throws three weak calf kicks into Warren's legs each time Warren tries to stand. Travis shakes out the cobwebs and scoops Warren up, walking him to the Vendetta corner and slamming him down. Travis puts a boot on Warren's throat, and tags Marchand in. }
{ Marchand locks in a spinning toe-hold on Warren, working the leg. He doesn't hold the move more than a minute, however, releasing it to pin Warren's leg to the canvas and drive knees into Warren's inside knee. Marchand transitions into a kneebar on Kane, ripping at Warren's joint. Warren looks to Dean, and the few feet of canvas becomes a million mile slog to try and make. The crowd chants for Warren, trying to breathe more fight into him. Warren yells in anguish,but has the presence of mind to realize the ropes in the Vendetta corner are closer to him. He works to pivot himself, suffering in the hold as Marchand tries to continue to rip. The official checks in on Warren, who refuses to quit. Warren turns positioning slowly, finally reaching the ropes! }
Terri Morasco: Warren Kane has made it! But you have to wonder how much damage has been done to his leg!
Vasco Dias: Marchand isn't letting go, either! They're going to rip apart Warren's knee!
Terri Morasco: Official Jessica Andrews with a firm count! Marchand only has until five...
Vasco Dias: Dean looks like he's seething in the FSK corner! He's like a caged Wolverine over there!
Terri Morasco: Marchand finally releases! Vendetta almost, almost got themselves disqualified there..
Vasco Dias: Not a bad move to keep the titles, though. Don't forget, they don't have to beat FSK.
Terri Morasco: Jessica is admonishing Marchand... and Reinhart with a running kick that catches Warren flush in the face!
Vasco Dias: Did you hear that crack! And Warren is bleeding... Reinhart busted his lip...
Terri Morasco: And there goes Dean! Harper flying across the ring and diving over the top rope! He just tackled Reinhart off the apron!
{ Both men crash onto the floor! Fueled by the sight of Warren's blood, Dean is up in a blink despite the awkward landing. Harper starts wailing on Reinhart, only stopping to spring up and grab a chair. Marchand goes to the outside, grabbing the chair before Dean can swing it. Dean lunges into Marchand's face with a headbutt, drawing blood from Marchand's nose. Travis hits Dean in the back, knocking him forward. Warren goes to the outside though, limping into the fray. All four men start to brawl on the floor, and Jessica starts a count to try and get the men back inside. }
Terri Morasco: This has completely broken down into an all-out brawl!
Vasco Dias: I think they've forgotten this is supposed to be a wrestling match! These four just want to fight!
{ The brawl continues as Andrews reaches her ten count! She calls for the bell, but the brawl doesn't stop. Fists and kicks continue to be throw until Dean reacquires the steel chair and tattoos Reinhart over the head with it! Dean jams the chair into Reinhart's throat over and over, trying to crush his throat. Marchand comes up behind Dean with a television cable and wraps it around his neck, jerking him backward off of Travis! With a limp, Warren comes in and blasts Marchand with the Kidd Kick, laying Jesse out! Security starts to flood the area, and it takes ten men to restrain Dean as he still is trying to fight his way back to get a piece of Vendetta. It's only Warren coming over to join Dean that starts to calm him down and prevent him from laying waste to the security guards. }
Terri Morasco: We have a double count-out tonight, but something about this doesn't feel over.
Vasco Dias: Not by a longshot, Morasco. Vendetta keeps their titles, but now they may have more to worry about... like their skulls.
{ Alison Valance stands and announces the official decision. }
Alison Valance: The official has ruled this match a double countout, therefore still the IWF World Tag Team Champions... Vendetta!
------------------------------------ IWF WOMEN'S WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH Virginia Stepanov vs Shelly Diamond(c) ------------------------------------
Vasco Dias: Welcome back to High Stakes! Next up, on a night of huge matches we have another huge match for you! Virginia Stepanov will be trading in the Imperial Diamonds Championship for a shot at Shelly Diamond and the Women’s World Championship!
Terri Morasco: Virginia Stepanov has had a legendary run with the Imperial Diamonds Championship, both times she held it but now she is looking to step up to the next level! Shelly Diamond is going to have her work cut out for her tonight in this defense!
Vasco Dias: I couldn’t agree with you more. Shelly Diamond has had a strong run but Virginia Stepanov is unlike any opponent she has ever faced! And Virginia is giving up a lot just to be here!
Terri Morasco: Absolutely correct. Virginia could’ve chosen to remain Imperial Diamonds Champion and pad that record out further but she’s making the hard choice tonight! Will it pay off!? We are about to find out!
{ The lights in the arena start to flicker as the intro to “Bitch Better Have My Money” hits the speakers. Smoke pours out onto the stage as Virginia Stepanov steps out. She walks to the head of the ramp, looking around for a moment before she shoots a high front kick into the air to show off and then makes a finger gun with three punctuated ‘shots’ towards the crowd ad the appropriate time in the song.
She struts down the ramp, mouth moving to sing along to her entrance as her head bobs along with the song. When she gets to the ring she jumps onto the apron, hanging onto the rope and leaning out towards the crowd, throwing a finger gun with another three shots before she steps through the ropes. She slips her coat off and hangs it in the corner. }
Terri Morasco: The crowd is on the challengers side tonight!
Vasco Dias: Maybe that’ll be enough to get her over the top.
Terri Morasco: What the fans at home may not realize is the extra adrenaline a crowd cheering or booing you gives our competitors. It can make all the difference in the world!
{ The lights in the arena dim to a dull grey as smoke emits from the ramp way. Envy by Ice Nine Kills hits the pa as the lights in the arena turn bright white. As the song really kicks in the lights die down to a normal level to reveal Shelly Diamond standing on the ramp with the IWF Women's World Championship over her shoulder. }
Say what you want, the jealousy's absolute! You've already got the claws diggin' into you! You're hopelessly green, like the sickness you feed! The greed never leaves, it just lies and deceives! Believe me! This envy, it's gonna be the end!
{ Shelly holds the IWF Women's World Championship up over her head as pyro erupts behind her. Once the light show dies down she begins to strut her way toward the ring to the beat of the music. Shelly walks up the steps, climbing up the outside of the ropes before throwing the IWF Women's World Championship up over her head again as the lights in the arena turn up to a blinding level. When the lights return to normal she is now standing in the center of the ring, ready and waiting. }
Vasco Dias: I agree with you Terri but listen that reaction Shelly just got? That’s incredible.
Terri Morasco: The crowd is firmly against her and it’s shocking considering why she came to IWF in the first place.
Vasco Dias: It is. It’s shocking how quickly the fans turned on her!
Terri Morasco: Turned on her!? She turned on them!
Vasco Dias: Either way. Let’s head to the introductions!
Alison Valance: The following contest is scheduled for one fall with a sixty minute time limit and it is for the IWF WOMEN’S WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP! To my left, she is the challenger, VIRGINIA STEPANOV!!!
{ Virginia hands Blue Shoes the Imperial Diamond Championship before stepping back to her corner. }
Alison Valance: And to my right, she is the reigning and defending IWF WOMEN’S WORLD CHAMPION!!! THE HEAD HUNTER! SHELLY DIAMOND!!!
{ Shelly holds the Women’s World title up over her head as the crowd boos. Shelly hands the title off to Blue Shoes who shows it to Virginia. }
Terri Morasco: The introductions are over!
Vasco Dias: The crowd is hyped, I’m hyped, you’re hyped! Let’s get this started!
{ Blue Shoes calls for the bell. Shelly and Virginia both move out of their corners and begin to circle each other. Virginia fires off an exploratory kick but Shelly had it counted and backs off. Shelly then moves in as they continue to circle and looks to shoot for the left leg of Virginia but she moves away. }
Vasco Dias: A slow start here as these two feel each other out.
Terri Morasco: Shelly is a catch as catch can wrestler while Virginia is an mma brawler, their styles clash which should make this an interesting match.
Vasco Dias: Absolutely.
{ The two women continue to circle each other. Virginia fires off another exploratory kick but Shelly swoops in and grabs that left leg. Shelly goes for a Dragon Screw Leg Whip but Virginia fires off a stiff forearm shot to the jaw of Shelly. Shelly drops the leg and Virginia fires off a leaping knee strike to the head of Shelly and follows it right up with a shin kick to the gut of the champion! }
Vasco Dias: Virginia Stepanov landing the first big strikes of the match!
Terri Morasco: She spotted an opening and took it!
{ Shelly backs off but Virginia smells blood in the water and comes in hard. Virginia begins hitting the champion with devastating palm strikes that back Shelly up into one of the corners of the ring. Virginia then goes for a front waistlock into a takedown! Virginia goes for the mount but Shelly is fighting back. Virginia is trying to get to a rear mount and look for a choke hold but Shelly has her fingers locked and eventually gets a free foot on the ropes forcing Blue Shoes to pull Virginia off. }
Terri Morasco: I think Virginia could have ended this match right then and there if she got the rear mount!
Vasco Dias: That was close, Shelly is damn lucky she was that close to the ropes!
{ Virginia moves in right away as Shelly gets back to her feet but the champion avoids the attack and grabs Virginia for a dumping snap dragon suplex! Virginia rolls back to her feet but Shelly picks the left leg and hits that Dragon Screw Leg Whip she was looking for earlier! Shelly continued to hold that left leg and pulled Virginia up for another Leg Whip, then another and another and finally one more. Shelly then went to lock in From the Flames! Virginia stretched out and her fingers just grazed the rope causing Blue Shoes to come in and break the hold but Shelly held it looking for that full four count. }
Vasco Dias: Shelly is smartly trying to remove one of Virginia’s main weapons from her!
Terri Morasco: You take away her kicking ability you take away half of Virginia’s move set!
{ Virginia is back up to her feet and Shelly comes in but Virginia checks her with a pump kick to the jaw of the champion. Virginia stumbles as she steps forward, her leg clearly feeling some wear and tear and that kick not the smartest of attacks. Stepanov steps forward and shrugs off the pan as she connects with the KMA! The Champion goes down and Virginia hobbles in for the cover, not hooking wither of the champions legs. Shelly kicks out at two! }
Terri Morasco: Virginia is obviously feeling the effects of Shelly’s earlier attack but she’s choosing to fight through the pain!
Vasco Dias: I don’t know how smart of an idea that is but we will see if it pays off in the end!
{ Virginia pulls Shelly up to her feet an unloads palms strikes to her head and torso. Virginia steps back and looks for the Super Kick but Shelly gets under neath the foot, picks the ankle and hits the Imperial Diamonds Champion with a leg capture suplex! Virginia tries to get up but Shelly comes off the ropes with a chop block to that left leg of Virginia Stepanov! Shelly picks up that leg and just punts it in the back of the knee as hard as she can before slamming the leg into the mat! }
Vasco Dias: Shelly Diamond is ramping up those leg attacks!
Terri Morasco: Virginia needs to create some distance and rethink her strategy!
{ Shelly grabs the left leg of Virginia and looks to put her into the knee bar again but Virginia sneds her right heel into the jaw of Shelly Diamond! Shelly continues to hold that leg so Virginia kicks Shelly in the face three more times with that right foot! Shelly lets go and Virginia is up to her feet and just clocks Shelly as hard as she can with an elbow strike to the head! Shelly is staggers and Virginia drops behind Shelly, favoring that left leg but sends the champ head first into the middle turnbuckle with a snap dragon suplex! }
Terri Morasco: Virginia doesn’t have the full use of her striking ability but she is clearly making due!
Vasco Dias: Seems like her plan is to take Shelly’s head off!
Terri Morasco: It’s a solid plan!
{ Virginia drags Shelly out of the corner and makes a cover but the champion is able to kick out at two. Virginia pulls Shelly up to her feet and lights the champ up with more palm strikes to the head. Shelly is clearly staggered as Virginia looks to take the champs head off with an elbow strike but ducks the shot and picks the left leg of Virginia and spins her right into another dragon screw leg whip! Shelly holds onto that leg and stands up with it, she punts the back of the knee again and then DDT’s the foot of Virginia Stepanov! }
Terri Morasco: Virginia is trying to take Shelly’s head off and Shelly is trying to make sure Virginia never walks again!
Vasco Dias: It’s a war of attrition to see who runs out of steam first!
{ Shelly drags Virginia to the corner of the ring. Shelly goes to the outside and wraps Virginia’s left leg around the ring post! Shelly does it again and again as Blue Shoes hollars for Shelly to get back into the ring! Shelly grabs both legs of Virginia and starts to wrap one over the other but Virginia pulls back both her legs and cracks Shelly’s head into the ring post! Shelly is staggered on the outside as Virginia rolls away from the post and out onto the floor. Virginia clocks Shelly with a hard elbow strike then grabs the champions head and bounces it off the ring post! }
Vasco Dias: Smart move by Virginia Stepanov!
Terri Morasco: How many more shots can Shelly take to the head!?
Vasco Dias: I think we’re going to find out!
{ Shelly is slumped against the ring post. Virginia charges in with the Final Ride but Shelly drops out of the way as Virginia kicks nothing but post with that already beat up left leg! Shelly pops up to her feet behind Virginia and grabs her with an F the 80’s Hiptoss! Shelly rips up one of the gym mats covering the concrete floor as Blue Shoes yells from the ring for her to stop. Shelly pulls the Imperial Diamonds Champion up to her feet then drops her head first on the uncovered floor with The Neck Brace! }
Terri Morasco: Shelly moving from the leg to the spine!
Vasco Dias: The champ is looking to remove everything from the challengers arsenal!
{ Shelly pulls Virginia up to her feet and rolls her back into the ring. Shelly climbs in and hooks one leg of Virginia for the cover but Virginia is able to kick out at two! Shelly pulls Virginia up off the mat with her but the challenger comes back with a headbut! Virginia then hits a nasty palm strike to the side of Shelly’s head that causes her to stumble to one knee! Virginia then drills Shelly with a hard right knee to the face that sends the champion down to the mat! Virginia holds her left leg as she makes the cover on the champion but it’s only a two count! }
Vasco Dias: Virginia is still in this fight!
Terri Morasco: There’s no way she’s going to let this slip past her!
Vasco Dias: Both women are fighting with everything they’ve got!
{ Virginia pulls Shelly up off the mat and just drills her with a hard forearm shot to the side of her head. Virginia then unloads more palm strikes to the head of the champion until she see’s blood trickle out of the mouth of the champion! Virginia smiles and hits Shelly with a hard Super Kick! The champion goes down and so does the challenger, clearly hurting her left leg as much as she hurt the champion. Virginia muscles through it and makes the cover on Shelly but it’s only a two count as Shelly gets her shoulder up! }
Terri Morasco: This is an incredibly hard fought match! I don’t know how either woman is still going!
Vasco Dias: Virginia can barely stand on her left leg and Shelly has to have a concussion! Something has got to give eventually!
{ Stepanov starts to pull the champion up to her feet but Shelly grabs that left leg, Virginia socks the champ with a right hook! Shelly stumbles back and Virginia looks to unleash the Final Ride but she can’t keep any weight on that left leg and Shelly spots it and hits a front chop block on that left leg! Virginia goes down and Shelly quickly grabs that left leg and locks Virginia into a Texas clover leaf with it! Shelly wrenches as hard as she can, literally trying to rip that leg off but Virginia is refusing to tap out! Virginia pushes up and launches a back elbow into Shelly’s head! Shelly lets go and Virginia grabs her in a rear naked choke! }
Vasco Dias: Virginia has Shelly in a rear naked choke in the center of the ring!
Terri Morasco: This could be it! We may be about to see the crowning of a new World Champion!
Vasco Dias: Unless Shelly can somehow escape!
{ Virginia has the rear naked choke locked in tight and Shelly has nowhere to go. The challenger is doing everything she can short of literally ripping Shelly’s head off her neck. Blue Shoes is checking on Shelly who seems to be fading. Blue Shoes is getting ready to call this one over but Shelly snaps awake. Shelly starts punching at the left knee of Virginia. Shelly continues to hit that knee over and over again until Virginia unclasps her legs. Shelly grabs that now free left leg with both hands and torques that knee with her left hand bracing the knee, her right hand ripping the leg upwards! Shelly manages to roll over. Shelly pins that left knee with her own leg and now uses both hands to torque that knee as Virginia keeps the rear naked choke locked in. Both women are just wrenching at each other and finally they both let go at the same time! }
Terri Morasco: Jesus! I wasn’t sure that was ever going to end!
Vasco Dias: I wasn’t sure it wasn’t going to end without a winner!
Terri Morasco: Shelly and Virginia are going to hell and back!
Vasco Dias: This has been incredible!
{ Both women take their time getting to their feet, each one feeling the effects of this match. Virginia is up first but her left leg is barely functioning at this point. Shelly is up next. Virginia comes in with a hard elbow strike but Shelly throws a kick to that left leg. Virginia clocks Shelly again with an elbow strike and Shelly hits another kick to that left leg! Virginia hits a palm strike so hard to the side of Shelly’s head that her ear starts bleeding! The champion drops down to a knee and Virginia hits a nasty knee to the face of the champion that drops her to the mat but Virginia goes down as well, her leg unable to hold her up anymore! }
Terri Morasco: I don’t know how much longer these two can keep fighting!
Vasco Dias: Shelly is bleeding from her mouth and ear, Virginia can barely stand, these two have unleashed hell on each other! This can’t go much longer!
{ Shelly is using the ropes to get to her feet. Virginia is using sheer willpower to stand. Virginia slaps her left leg and charges in looking for the Final Ride but she stumbles! Shelly comes in and grabs that left leg for Knee Surgery! Shelly hits six dragon screw leg whips in a row before drilling Virginia with everything she has left with a D-Trigger! Virginia goes down hard and Shelly falls on top of her for a cover. ONE! TWO! KICK OUT! }
Vasco Dias: I don’t believe it! I don’t believe Virginia was able to kick out of that!
Terri Morasco: That was incredible!
Vasco Dias: Virginia is having her coming out party tonight! She is truly an elite athlete in the professional wrestling world!
Terri Morasco: I couldn’t agree with you more, Vasco! Virginia is amazing!
{ Shelly is absolute disbelief as she looks at Blue Shoes who holds up two fingers. Shelly looks to Virginia who is still down on the mat. Shelly goes to grab her challenger but Virginia pulls her down into a fujiwara amrbar! Virginia wrenches on the hold as much as she can but she can only push herself so far with one good leg. Shelly fights back but Virginia is eventually forced to let go. Virginia scrambles away as Shelly does the same. Shelly makes it to the ring apron but Virginia is back and grabs Shelly for a pulling pile driver on the ring apron! Virginia rolls Shelly back into the ring and makes the cover for ONE! TWO! KICK OUT! }
Vasco Dias: This is insane!
Terri Morasco: How are they still going!?
Vasco Dias: I don’t know but it can’t last much longer!
Terri Morasco: Eventually one of them has to crack!
{ Virginia is up to her feet but she can barely put any pressure on that left leg. Shelly is getting up as well but she doesn’t appear to be all there. Virginia is doing everything she can to loosen her left leg up. Shelly is on spaghetti legs with blood still coming from her mouth and ear. Virginia lets out a roar before attempting the Final Ride! Virginia stumbles as her left leg gives out under the full weight of her body! Shelly comes in with a stiff kick to the midsection of her challenger and another to that leg. Shelly Diamond grabs Virginia in a double underhook and lifts her up for TIGER DRIVER 98!!! Shelly covers Virginia, hooking both of the challengers legs as Blue Shoes slides in for the count. ONE! TWO! THREE!!! }
Alison Valance: Your winner AND STILL IWF WOMENS WORLD CHAMPION!!! SHELLY!!! DIAMOND!!!
{ Blue Shoes brings Shelly the World title but the champion lays back on the mat, exhausted. }
Vasco Dias: That was incredible!
Terri Morasco: You could run this match back a hundred times and I think these two would break even on wins!
Vasco Dias: I totally agree! Virginia nearly had the match won if she could only stand up on both legs!
Terri Morasco: Shelly wagered on the long game and it nearly costed her! She clearly has a concussion and Virginia nearly won this match!
Vasco Dias: Nearly, but in the end the champion managed to retain!
{ Finally Shelly gets up off the mat with her World title in hand. She hoists it up over her head with both hands as her music plays. }
------------------------------------ IWF MEN'S WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP SUBMISSION MATCH Nick Knight vs Wraith(c) ------------------------------------
{The driving guitars of FFDP’s This Is War fills the arena as Nick Knight steps onto the entrance ramp. The voice of Ivan Moody joins the fray as pyro turns the stage into a warzone, UNO, DOS, TRES, GET THE FUCK UP!!! Knight stomps through the smoke and and down the ramp dressed in purple track pants and a purple and gold xXx Wrestling Academy t-shirt. Nick reaches ringside and slides under the bottom rope and quickly gets to his feet, his eyes never leaving his opponent as he tears away the pants revealing a pair of black trunks with the Knight chess piece logo. Pulling the shirt over his head he throws it into the crowd and awaits the bell.}
Vasco Dias: We have seen Nick Night absolutely fired up for this fight! He earned this match after defeating Abraxes, and you have to imagine that he is looking to have it pay off. The 2020 Breakout Star of the Year, he is looking to finally win the top prize after he has not held a belt since the TV Championship in January of LAST YEAR!
Terri Morasco: He definitely has been fired up, and we have seen some of the back and forth banter between SABIN and Nick Knight. Knight believes he has the answer to walk out as the champion tonight. Is all that hard work he put in going to be enough?
{The lights throughout the arena go out row by row until the arena is shrouded in absolute darkness. The lights come on and Wraith is standing in the center of the ring — in unison, the crowd let out a heavy gasp. He tilts his head back and forth, eyeing the crowd, while waiting for the match to begin.}
Vasco Dias: One thing you have to love about Wraith is that he just gets into the ring. He doesn’t waste time getting the crowd into it; he just gets into the ring and he’s ready to work.
Terri Morasco: More like ready to kill.
{The bell sounds and the young champion is the first to burst forward and strikes for ODE TO APHRODITE! Nick Knight is able to step to the side, but the champion retains heavy offense with a series of kicks against the challenger directed toward his shin and midsection; Knight does his best to block with his arms but the kicks are relentless and ring throughout the arena that causes the crowd to gasp from each one that connects.}
Vasco Dias: Wraith is just going for straight offense right now, and you can just hear those kicks! Nick Knight is just looking for an opening to try to turn this around, but there is nothing there for him…he is managing to take most of the damage with his arms, but that could hurt him later on because the only way to win this match tonight is by SUBMISSION ONLY!
Terri Morasco: It’s just amazing how hard and how fast Wraith is able to hit those kicks. The stamina on him is amazing–
Vasco Dias: He is young, and quite active, and even had some of the best training that anybody could ever ask for in IWF Hall of Famer, Angel, and Tara.
{Throughout the conversation, the kicks continue; Wraith battles Knight into the corner and strikes with another kick, but in the game of Chess you must sometimes make a sacrifice to set up the next big move and that was exactly how Knight was able to turn things around; he raises his arm and is met with a swift kick directly to his ribs, but he lowers his arm and catches Wraiths’s leg! Wraith hops back a few steps, and is looking for a way out of this predicament; he is able to successfully get his leg free and shoves him forward with that same leg to get Knight back into the corner and then comes forward for a moonsault kick that connects– Wraith flips backward and lands on his feet.
Knight, although winded from the moonsault kick, launches himself forward before Wraith has a chance to regain his balance and takes him down with a clothesline! The heavy impact causes Wraith’s head to bounce off the canvas, and Knight to even fall forward, but he quickly gathers himself back together and is back to his feet. He turns toward Wraith and grabs him by the braided hair to pull him to a standing position.
Wraith answers by delivering a few hard punches against Knight’s abdomen, and Knight answers by driving his knee forward to knock the wind out of Wraith, then puts him into a front headlock and takes him down with a swinging neckbreaker! Wraith sits up, but is holding his neck, while Knight gets to a kneeling position behind Wraith and gets him into a sleeper hold.}
Vasco Dias: Nick Knight was finally able to reverse one of those kicks and he is now putting some major offense against the champion, and this sleeper hold could be enough to put him out. That is the beautiful thing about submissions: any of these holds can end the match at any given time!
Terri Morasco: But Wraith is still conscious, and he is going to have to act fast if he wants to retain.
{Wraith stretches one of his arms out toward the ropes, but they are just out of his reach; during the process, he is now on his hands and knees while Knight keeps the hold in, but Wraith is able to get back to his feet although hunched over…he delivers an elbow to Knight’s stomach, which weakens the hold he has, but he still has it in. A second elbow! A third! And a fourth!
Wraith shoves Knight forward, and Knight rebounds off the ropes; Wraith moves forward and is able to leapfrog over him– Knight rebounds off the other ropes, and Wraith launches himself backward to go for a back elbow, but Knight catches him and is going for LA LA LAND! The crowd is stunned by the reversal, as Wraith is able to hold his balance but Knight is transitioning to get the hold.}
Terri Morasco: He’s going for La La Land this early, and he looks like he has the champion caught!
Vasco Dias: Wraith is still resisting letting him get that hold locked in, but Knight is looking like he might– he might get it!
{Wraith brings his arm back around Knight’s neck and reverses it into a snapmare!}
Vasco Dias: That was a close call right there, but Wraith is not going for a hold quite yet!
{Wraith gets back up and charges forward to deliver a hard kick against Knight’s spine causing him to cringe and arch his back from it; Wraith continues forward and rebounds off the ropes only to return with a dropkick that forces Knight to fall back and lie flat on the mat. Wraith is back to his feet and holds Knight’s arm out before jumping up and coming down with a vicious stomp on the bicep! Knight retracts his arm and is clinging to it, but Wraith takes it a second time, and repeats the stomp!
Knight is clinging to his arm, and Wraith now kneels beside him and tries to get a hold of his arm; he goes for the ABSOLUTION! Knight is holding his arm and refusing to give it up, but Wraith answers by delivering a couple of elbows to weaken him while continuing to attempt to get the hold in.}
Vasco Dias: Absolution, the Figure Four Armlock that his stepfather has used to end many people throughout his illustrious career! And Wraith is looking to end him in the same fashion, which I do find ironic since the two have yet to truly get along.
Terri Morasco: You don’t have to get along to have respect for each other, and you have to remember that Wraith is such a mama’s boy…if she says to behave and get along with him, I think it’s just a matter of time.
{The shots from Wraith have busted Knight open; Knight is sporting a crimson mask and the champion continues raining in with continuous forearm and elbow strikes to try and weaken him.}
Terri Morasco: That blood is splattering all over the place, and you have to think that’s going to be bad news for the challenger moving forward.
Vasco Dias: Or some motivation to keep fighting, and it looks like that’s what he’s going to do– he’s rolling Wraith up!
{In what would go into a schoolboy cover in a standard match, Knight is able to roll Wraith up long enough to force him to give up on Absolution as he finds himself at a peculiar angle; Knight takes Wraith’s ankle and spins him around to go for an ankle lock! Wraith grunts in pain, but reacts with a quick forward roll that sends Knight toward the ropes and he springs to his feet…Knight isn’t even able to turn around before Wraith jumps onto his back and gets him into a rear naked choke without any opposition!}
Vasco Dias: The champion has that hold locked in already, and the challenger is already starting to see stars!
Terri Morasco: You have to imagine that that is what makes Wraith so dangerous in this type of match. He is a submission artist and is able to get any of these holds locked in at any given time, and as you said earlier: all of them are capable of ending a match!
{Knight is able to continue to stand on his feet and reaches his hands toward Wraith’s arm that is locked under his chin to try to relieve some of the pressure, but to no avail. However, Knight does charge himself backward and crashes into the turnbuckle with Wraith between himself and the turnbuckle! Wraith holds on for a moment, but Knight is already alternating his own elbows against Wraith’s midsection, which drives the wind out of him; Wraith’s feet go back to the mat, but the elbows from Knight continue alternating backward now aimed at the head that is sending the champion rocking back and forth.}
Vasco Dias: I guess you can use brute force to get yourself out of a hold!
{Satisfied, Knight stumbles forward and beckons to the crowd only to receive a mixed reaction from them. Knight turns his attention back to the champion and comes in with a heavy clothesline that causes Wraith’s legs to kick up from the impact, and he comes back down; Knight rains in with some hard right strikes, followed by an overhand chop, and then some knife edge chops, and back to the punches, and then a headbutt to finish the series of strikes!
Wraith stumbles out of the corner, and Knight immediately goes to work with loosening up the padding; Blue Shoes is there trying to tell him to stop doing that, and even threatening to disqualify him…}
Nick Knight: Do it! Do it! Disqualify me!
{The crowd is booing the threat from Blue Shoes, and Knight cups a hand over his ear to hear them better. Blue Shoes takes a step back and gestures that he will allow it; Knight grabs the turnbuckle padding and tears it the rest of the way off then approaches Wraith from behind and grabs him around the waist– he flings him backward for a German Suplex with his back hitting the exposed metal!}
Vasco Dias: Oh, that’s going to hurt!
Terri Morasco: He should be disqualified, but you can hear these fans, and they don’t want to see the match end like that…
Vasco Dias: I hate to say it, but the rules do say it has to end by submission.
{Wraith cringes from the impact, and Knight follows in with a second clothesline! The connection with the exposed turnbuckle has caused Wraith to begin bleeding from where his back had hit. Wraith draws in a sharp breath before straightening himself out and sneers at the challenger; he looks angered by Knight’s decision to use the underhanded tactic. An uppercut from Knight connects! Wraith is unphased.}
Terri Morasco: It looks like something is waking up inside of him, and that is not going to be good for the challenger.
{Another uppercut, but it gets the same result; Knight rains in with several more, but gets the same result, until Wraith finally does catch and reverse one of the punches! The challenger staggers toward the center of the ring, and the champion follows en route and connects with a series of kicks again. Knight aims for a shot at Wraith’s jaw, but Wraith is able to duck underneath and circle behind him and get him into a cobra clutch; within the next motion, the champion has taken him down with the cobra clutch slam!}
Vasco Dias: We could be seeing him go for a page out of his mother’s book now!
{Without any hesitation, Wraith is able to take his arm and lock in THE PHOENIX TRIANGLE! The triangle choke that Tara Fenix uses as a finishing submission. Nick Knight grunts and grits his teeth to try to keep himself from crying out, and the adrenaline pumping throughout him is enough to let him spin out and get back to his feet, but Wraith continues to have the hold in but not fully set.
Wraith, similar to the Absolution, starts to throw a couple of elbows while trying to get the hold locked, but Knight is able to power Wraith off of the mat before slamming him down! Wraith continues to hold The Phoenix Triangle. Knight lifts him a second time and slams him down– Wraith releases the hold, and Knight takes his leg while advancing toward him and forcing him to flip over; Knight goes for the ankle lock, and Wraith goes to repeat the same reversal as earlier– Knight is able to swing a leg over him and take him down, getting him into an ankle lock with the grapevine!}
Terri Morasco: Nick Knight has it locked, and it could take quite a bit out of Wraith to get out of this one! He is a long way away from the ropes!
{Wraith props himself up on his elbows and is trying to maneuver in a manner to alleviate the pressure; at the same time, Knight is continuing to wrench on the ankle, and Wraith starts trying to crawl toward the ropes but is carrying his own weight along with that of the challenger.}
Vasco Dias: Nick Knight had better snap that ankle!
{Wraith is continuing to pull himself forward and stretches one of his hands out; at that moment, Knight releases the hold and quickly closes the gap to go for LA LA LAND! Wraith’s arms flail momentarily, but then he reverses with a jawbreaker! Wraith moves forward for the ropes, and uses them to pull himself back to an elevated position and Knight charges in immediately! A cactus clothesline connects and both men go tumbling outside of the ring! Blue Shoes is looking over the ropes to assure that both men are safe, and both men do land on their feet, but the champion is dazed.}
Vasco Dias: Blue Shoes is not going to count this one out, we all know that, but this match still must end inside of the ring!
{Knight connects with a forearm strike, and then an eye rake; Wraith fires back with a back elbow, but Knight is now unphased by it and just takes him by the head to run him into the steel post! Wraith is stunned by the post momentarily, but the challenger does not let up– he gets a hold on him and throws him back with the NON-DAIRY CREAMER!}
Terri Morasco: Nick Knight is determined to walk out with that belt as his.
Vasco Dias: And that half and half suplex is a beautiful way to weaken the champion enough to maybe be able to do it!
{Nick Knight lays out for several seconds and just has a smile on his face while he looks toward the lights as if he were already victorious. Wraith is wreathing from some of the damage that has been done to him. Knight finally sits up and begins to stalk Wraith… Wraith is pulling on the ring skirt to pull himself up, but Knight immediately delivers a forearm to his back, and then slams his head against the ring apron. Knight takes his arm and sends him into the ringpost a second time!
Knight advances but is met with an elbow from the champion. Knight stumbles back, and Wraith fires in with a kick that connects against Knight’s midsection! Wraith steps forward and gets him into a front headlock then uses the apron to spin him out for a tornado DDT!}
Vasco Dias: What a DDT, and that is going to buy the champion some time to recuperate!
Terri Morasco: This crowd is starting to urge each competitor to their feet, but they do still have to get back inside the ring.
{Both of them lay out for thirty seconds until Wraith is the first one to start getting to his feet; Knight is right behind him, and as Knight is getting to his feet, Wraith connects with a spinning roundhouse kick that connects with his skull! Nick Knight manages to continue to stand but is out on his feet, and Wraith drives a knee in before finally pushing Nick Knight under the bottom rope and back to the inside of the ring…Wraith slides in right behind him, and is already looking to go for the GOGOPLATA! Wraith is getting Nick Knight into position, and then just at that moment, Knight comes to and grips the top rope to prevent Wraith from being able to get it in legally!
Knight stands over the champion while still holding the ropes, and Blue Shoes is explaining to Wraith that Knight has a hold on the ropes; Wraith stops and is trying to create a little bit of distance from the challenger, but the challenger answers by stomping him right in the stomach! Nick Knight continues with several more stomps, and uses the ropes to even keep himself balanced while driving each stomp down with all of his weight. He finally does pull Wraith back to a standing position, and takes him by the arm to send him toward the exposed turnbuckle yet again at full force!
Wraith is able to spin in the middle–
But Knight spins it again, and Wraith goes into the corner! Knight follows in with a clothesline, and before Wraith can regain his footing, Knight pulls him away from the corner and scoops him onto his shoulder then drops him over the exposed turnbuckle with snake eyes! The metal connects hard, and now Wraith is bleeding; Knight takes his head and begins pounding it repeatedly against the turnbuckle causing his blood to splatter all over the place.}
Vasco Dias: Nick Knight has proven himself to be quite a versatile fighter, and vicious, and you have to imagine that he is going to have to bring every bit of that in this match. So long as Blue Shoes does not disqualify him, he has nothing to worry about.
Terri Morasco: Any other referee would have called it, but Blue Shoes knows what the fans want, and I think he knows what Wraith wants, because Wraith would not even accept a victory in that regard! He would want to keep going! But it’s not a smart move.
{Nick Knight takes a couple steps away from the corner and pulls the champion with him; he has him by the arm, and forces him to spin around and right into WELCOME TO HOLLYWOOD! Almost out of instinct, Knight does go for the cover, but Blue Shoes is reminding him that it is a submission match.}
Vasco Dias: You have to imagine that we would be looking at a new champion right now if this were a standard match! Nick Knight with WELCOME TO HOLLYWOOD, the vicious clothesline that nearly decapitated the champion!
Terri Morasco: I mean– if he’s out, would it just count as a submission? If Wraith cannot respond?
Vasco Dias: He would have to confirm the knockout, but certainly.
{It takes Wraith several seconds, but he finally does sit up; Knight is calling for LA LA LAND yet again, and Wraith counts with a hip toss! While Knight is getting up, Wraith lunges forward and goes for the rear naked choke– Knight is able to prevent it from getting in this time, though, and just drops all of his weight down on top of Wraith. Knight rolls over and leans over to pull him up–
Wraith manages to stay grounded, and grabs one of Knight’s arms to tug him forward while bringing a knee up, and he is looking to get the GOGOPLATA!
Knight is able to squeeze himself out of the hold before Wraith, and he backs up; Knight searches for an opening while Wraith uses his legs to defend himself and is ready to kick him in retaliation.}
Vasco Dias: Two very close calls right there, and Nick Knight knows how dangerous those kicks from Wraith are!
{Rather than risking receiving a kick, Nick Knight just takes a step back and gestures for Wraith to get up. Wraith hesitates in the answer but Nick Knight makes a second gesture; Wraith accepts the invitation, and Knight shoots forward for a clothesline! Wraith easily ducks, but Knight stops on a dime and catches Wraith with the LA LA LAND SUPLEX!}
Vasco Dias: A beautiful suplex, and–
Terri Morasco: The champion is in trouble!
{Knight has not released the hold; he is trying to transition it into the LA LA LAND while Wraith is dazed but practically on fumes is able to move back and grip the ropes…Blue Shoes calls for the rope break! Nick Knight does not apply full pressure to the hold, but it is clear that he does not want to release the hold.}
Vasco Dias: Nick Knight has been impressive with holding on with this match, but Wraith has had an answer to keep himself out of that hold because that is practically all he has! Nick Knight has gotten more opportunities for it than we thought he would, but he needs it to actually capitalize.
Terri Morasco: And that’s the hard part. Wraith was raised in this business, so he just knows this ring. He is not like the rest of the young competitors; he is not like the rest of the rookies. He knows this ring like the back of his hand, and could likely compete blindfolded.
Vasco Dias: Are you trying to get him to put a blindfold on you?
Terri Morasco: Oh, come on.
{Nick Knight looks to release Wraith, but before Wraith can get too far, he strikes him with an elbow– Wraith manages to get to his feet and holds the back of his head after the elbow, and Knight uses the ropes to get up. Knight charges toward the champion, and Wraith counters with ODE TO APHRODITE! The knee connects, and Knight stares upward with a glazed look on his face, wobbling slightly back and forth.}
Terri Morasco: Is he even there?!
Vasco Dias: I highly doubt it. That knee, the Ode to Aphrodite– an ode to Atara Themis, his godmother, just hit its mark!
{Wraith is barely able to stand on his own two feet as he is leaning against Nick Knight for his own support; he finally does take Knight by the arm and looks to drop him in similar fashion as he did to Dean Harper at the Denzel Porter Invitational: a modified Fallen Phoenix that sets him up perfectly for the Gogoplata…
Knight surges back to life, and takes Wraith’s arm to send him toward the exposed turnbuckle! He follows in, and Wraith is able to spring over him– Knight catches himself on the ropes to prevent himself from colliding with the metal, but Wraith connects with a front dropkick that sends Knight’s forehead to hit the exposed steel! Wraith moves forward before bringing Knight down with a Russian Leg Sweep.
Wraith then gets back to his feet and looks over his shoulder to see Knight out; he climbs up to the top rope–}
Vasco Dias: There’s no need for this! You can’t end the match like this!
Terri Morasco: But he could knock the wind out of him long enough to finally get the hold in!
{Wraith, now on the top rope, launches himself backward for THE FALLEN ONE!
Nick Knight is able to spring to his feet with another surge of energy, and catches Wraith by the arms then quickly tries to turn it into LA LA LAND!
Wraith drops him with a jawbreaker, and then turns around; Knight stumbles forward looking to keep the advantage in his favor, and Wraith leaps up catching him with the modified FALLEN PHOENIX! Wraith then transitions right away into GOGOPLATA and Blue Shoes is already checking on Nick Knight as Knight is flailing his free arm to try and look for the ropes! The crowd goes into a frenzy as Wraith just pulls on the hold as hard as he can.
Knight is reaching forward, and pretty close to the ropes. Wraith just applies more and more pressure, and Knight finally collapses while out of range of the ropes…he clenches his fist and pumps his fist into the air a few times for some self-motivation, but each pump gets weaker and weaker.
With nowhere to go: Nick Knight taps!}
Alison Valance: Your winner! By way of submission! AND STILL! IWF Men’s World Champion! WRRRRRR–AAAAAIIIIIIITTTTTHHHHH!
Vasco Dias: Wraith has done it! Wraith has successfully defended the IWF Men’s World Championship!
Terri Morasco: I can’t believe it! I can’t believe that Nick Knight almost reversed The Fallen One into La La Land!
Vasco Dias: Technically, he did! But Wraith had a reversal ready for Knight’s reversal, and it all paid off.
{Wraith is on his back in the center of the ring with a glazed look in his eyes; Blue Shoes is holding his arm up while Nick Knight rolls over to the side and is coughing while the oxygen seems to be returning to him. Blue Shoes takes the belt from the timekeeper and puts it over Wraith…before he can help him to his feet, the lights go out, and when they come back up, the champion is gone.}
Vasco Dias: No celebration?
Terri Morasco: That’s how he rolls.
------------------------------------ THE ROULETTE ------------------------------------
Alison Valance: The following main event of High Stakes is THE ROULETTE! Roulette Match starts with two competitors and another one enters the match every two minutes until all the 30 competitors have been accounted for. The winner is guaranteed a Men’s World title Championship shot at Night of the Immortals!
{The crowd cheers.}
Terri Morasco: We have come to the main event and arguably the main attraction of the High Stakes pay-per-view.
{The camera pans over the crowd to show some additional signs “This week, on Days of Our Lives” “30 MEN” “Blood shed or we riot” “EMOTIONAL DAMAGE” “ IWF IS THE GAY AGENDA” “How come nobody's the mortal incarnation of any of the Greek Gods???” “SPONSORED BY HE-TAP!” “IWF Presents Family Feud” “I’m Missing my brother’s wedding to be here”}
Vasco Dias: There is no argument about it. This is the event everyone has been waiting for.
Terri Morasco: Well some of the matches earlier in the evening were pretty important.
Vasco Dias: Doesn’t matter. This is a chance to face the World Champion at Night of the Immortals. It’s the golden ticket.
Terri Morasco: It is. But this is also the first year that IWF has allowed wrestlers outside of the company to enter. It’s got some of the talent upset but it will be interesting to see how this all plays out.
{The lights go out, the crowd is cheering in excitement.}
Alison Valance: Entering at Number 1…. Leo Hemmingway!
{The Drums of "Maybe I'm a Lion" hit the area as the lights glow a soft orange and Outsteps Leo wearing a high collared robe walking towards the Ring wrist rolling as he walks sizing up the ring before he climb in and steps between the ropes to look around at the crowd and find a corner after taking off the robe to size up his opponent.}
Vasco Dias: Leo won this spot from the ladder match last week. We only know a couple things from that match last week. We know Leo is entering first, Pax is entering 30th, Stephan Terrella is number 15.
Terri Morasco: We also know Rob Diamond will be given a second number if he is eliminated to reenter the contest.
Alison Valance: Entering at Number 2….
{The opening introduction for “Raise Your Horns” by Amon Amarth plays over the PA system, and the crowd goes into a frenzy! The music can barely be heard over the sound of the fans. Ulf Hednir quickly shoves the curtains aside, dressed in his wolf headdress, and marches out onto the stage with his drinking horn held high over his head.}
Ulf Hednir: SKÅL! Crowd: SKÅL!
{Ulf drinks from the drinking horn, and after, turns it upside down to show the crowd that there is nothing left. Ulf attaches the drinking horn to a strap hanging off his belt, and marches down the ramp to shake hands or high five many of the fans along the ramp; fans scramble to get as close as they can and he takes an extra moment to ensure he greets as many as he can. Ulf goes around to the right side of the ring, still greeting as many fans as he can until he reaches the timekeeper’s table, where he removes the headdress and the drinking horn, placing them on the table. He walks up to the apron and leaps up, grabbing the ropes, and leaning back to let loose a mighty howl.}
Raise your horns, raise them up to the sky, We will drink to glory tonight! Raise your horns for brave fallen friends, We will meet where the beer never ends!
{The chorus plays over, and Ulf steps between the middle and top ropes before parading around the ring a bit, raising his arms from each side of the ring. He stands by and waits for the match to start.}
Vasco Dias: Oh wow. This early? Ulf Hednir? The former world champion? The man who had such a strong streak in this company plus whatever else he’s done with other companies? Leo is in trouble.
Terri Morasco: Don’t be such a jerk Vasco.
{The bell rings and the Roulette is officially on the clock. Leo motions Ulf forward who smirks slightly and goes at him with an overhead chop. Leo stumbles back slightly and comes back with Knife Edge chop. Ulf motions for Leo to hit him again, Leo does so, the crowd cheers.}
Vasco Dias: Come on! Bring on the violence!
Terri Morasco: Let them have fun their way.
{Leo hits Ulf with a Snap Suplex followed by a German Suplex. Leo tries to lift Ulf up to go over the top rope but Ulf manages to kick the rope just right to push Leo onto his back. Leo rolls away as Ulf gets to his feet.}
Vasco Dias: Close but not close enough.
Terri Morasco: Leo was hoping for a big win and you have to admire the effort.
{Ulf charges towards Leo, hitting him with a Spinning Roundhouse Kick To the head, knocking Leo back. Leo hangs on the rope, trying to shake the fog out as Ulf picks him up and tries to put him over the rope but Leo kicks wildly and makes Ulf drop him.}
Vasco Dias: Push him out! Come on!
Terri Morasco: This is an intense back and forth.
{Leo gets some chain wrestling as Ulf manages to get free from the moment. As the crowd starts counting down from 20.}
Vasco Dias: But the count down has started.
Terri Morasco: Who will be number three?
Alison Valance: Entering at Number 3…. Warren Kane!
{The lights go out and the slow steady beat of New Divide by Linkin Park plays and the crowd gives a good cheer as Warren Kane comes running down the ramp.}
Vasco Dias: Warren Kane!
Terri Morasco: Oh! This will get really interesting.
{ Warren hits the ring with a Sling Blade on Leo and then a Sling Blade on Ulf! The first two men get back up to their feet only to be met by a double running dropkick! Ulf and Leo fall into different corners and Warren is up with a running knee strike on Leo! Warren then charges across the ring with a running knee strike on Ulf! Warren continues this trend as the clock keeps on ticking down! }
Vasco Dias: Warren Kane is taking control of the Roulette!
Terri Morasco: You know he wants that world title back!
{ Warren spams the knee one two many times when Ulf finally reaches his feet and crashes into Warren with a clothesline! Leo also pulls himself out of the corner but Ulf is on him two with a high angle spine buster! The clock is ticking it’s seconds down as Ulf pulls Leo up to his feet and throws him into the ropes. Ulf attempts to push Leo over the top and Warren joins in by grabbing Ulf’s legs. Warren picks up Ulf who still has Leo on the ropes. Both men go spilling onto the apron! }
Vasco Dias: We may be about to see our first elimination!
Terri Morasco: Is Warren going to take out Ulf and Leo!?
{ The clock nears it’s final ten seconds as the crowd counts down. Warren is doing his best to kick Ulf and Leo off the apron as the clock strikes one! }
Alison Valance: Entering at number 4… Todd Williams!
{ Todd races down to the ring and slides in as Warren keeps fighting with Ulf and Leo on the apron. Todd spins Warren around and palm strikes him hard across the face. The former world champion punts Todd with all he has and then clothesline Williams as hard as he can. Ulf and Leo climb back into the ring. Ulf and Leg begin to work together as they clobber Warren Kane from behind. Ulf and Leo toss Warren to the ropes and try to knock him over the top rope but Todd Williams is back and goes for a double German suplex on Ulf and Leo! Both men push Todd off and crash into him with a clothes line! }
Vasco Dias: Williams needs to mind his own business!
Terri Morasco: It’s the Roulette! That’s impossible!
{ Warren Kane is back in the ring and grabs Ulf with a Splosion suplex! Leo turns to see Warren but only catches a Kidd Kick! Todd is back up but Warren just palm strikes Todd as hard as he can across the face and then hits him with a knee strike! Warren punts Todd in the chest and sends him flying backward. Ulf is back up and grabs Warren with a German suplex, Leo is back up and takes Ulf down with a rear waistlock! Loe scrambles for a crossface but Todd is there to kick him off. Leo is up to his feet and shoves Todd backward but Warren is there with a running dropkick to the back of Leo sending him into Todd! }
Vasco Dias: We still haven’t had an elimination and we are about to have our fifth man enter this match!
Terri Morasco: I wonder who will be coming out next!?
Alison Valance: Entering at Number 5….
{ Fear of the Dark by Iron Maiden hits the PA as the original Wraith steps out through the curtains! }
Vasco Dias: I don’t believe it!
Terri Morasco: That’s Wraith, our Wraith, the IWF World Champions’ father! The original Wraith!
{ Wraith hits the ring as the crowd continues to roar. Wraith drops Ulf right off the bat with an atomic drop and a clothesline! Wraith then hits Warren with a backdrop driver! Todd charges in but Original Wraith takes him down with a standing Spanish Fly! That leaves Todd Williams who is jonsing to get into the fight. Todd comes in fast but Wraith hits a clothesline, a clothesline and another clothesline! Wraith pulls Todd up to his feet and just drills him with an old school ddt! Ulf is back up to his feet and gets in the face of Wraith but papa Wraith isn’t having it and hauls off with a palm strike that carries over three decades of practice with it that knocks Ulf clean on his ass! }
Vasco Dias: If I didn’t know better I’d swear papa Wraith hasn’t missed a single day of in ring competition!
Terri Morasco: Ring rust doesn’t exist when you reach his level!
{ Wraith is looking hungry and ready to go but Warren Kane pops up behind him with a running bulldog! Wraith tries to fight back but Warren is there with a double foot stomp! Todd Williams is back up and looks for the easy elimination on Leo but Leo comes back to life with a release German suplex! Ulf is up now and catches Warren with a boot to the face! Leo goes for Warren and Page has Todd up on the top rope and is doing everything he can to eliminate him. Leo also has Warren up on the top rope. Ulf has Wraith up on the top rope! }
Vasco Dias: We may be about to see an elimination!
Terri Morasco: Or three at the same time!
{ Wraith fights back against Ulf and comes back into the ring. Wraith hits a back drop on Ulf. Todd is still fighting back against Page but Page is unrelenting. Warren and Leo are both back into the ring but Leo takes Warren down to the mat with a leg pick and looks for a crossface, this time Leo has it locked in. Page pushes Todd out onto the apron but Williams holds on with everything he has and cracks Page with a right hook! Todd launches himself back into the ring with a springboard but Page catches him with a spinebuster! The clock is quickly counting down as we reach the next entry in the match! }
Alison Valance: Entering at number 7… ANGEL BLAKE!
{ The whole arena goes dark. }

Angel grabs Warren as he runs in with a hip toss! Todd gets a Divine Justice of his own! Ulf gets cracked with a clothes line as Angel lets out a roar. Leo charges in but Angel is there with a hip toss into a Divine Justice! Angel then comes face to face with Wraith. Angel and Wraith unload on each other like a couple of old school veterans just punching the living shit out of each other. Each blow is enough to knock a normal person out but these two just don’t care as they keep going! }
Vasco Dias: Angel cleared out a good chunk of the field but now he’s caught up with Wraith!
Terri Morasco: This is the biggest Roulette ever and we are seeing why!
{ Chris Page and Leo pair off while Angel and Wraith keep fighting. Warren is up and he goes for Ulf. Todd is back up as well. Angel seems to have gotten the advantage on Wraith as Leo and Page are working each other over in the corner. Warren has Ulf where he wants him and is trying to get him up onto the ropes. Todd watches and tries to decide who to go after Angel cracks Wraith with Divine Justice and pushes him into the corner of the ring. { The brawling continues as Rob and Angel are teaing off on each other. Wraith and Warren are going at it. Page and Ulf have paired off now. Leo is working over Todd. Each pairing is in a different corner of the ring. Rob is trying as hard as he can to get Angel up and over the top rope. Warren sees to have the advantage on Wraith who seems a little winded. La Bolsa then drops Rob and Angel followed by Ulf and Page! La Bolsa has the crowd fired up now as he looks to see who is left. Everyone gets back up to their feet and they all charge in to attack La Bolsa! La Bolsa seems to enjoy the fight as they all dog pile him. Eventually La Bolsa sneaks out of the dog pile while everyone is still throwing haymakers at who they think is La Bolsa in the center of the pile! }
Vasco Dias: I like this guy.
Terri Morasco: He’s smarter than you look!
Vasco Dias: You think so!
{ La Bolsa starts to pull people out of the dog pile one at a time and taking them down with clothesline! First it’s Warren then Todd then Leo then Ulf then Angel then Rob then Page but it’s Wraith who stops this with a big clothesline of his own! Declan then goes over to Chris Page, La Bolsa and Wraith, pulling each of them up. The current four outside talents team up as the IWF talents each reach their feet one at a time. The unified front of outsiders go for Angel first per Wraith’s instruction and stomp the crap out of him. Leo sees what is going on and talks to Warren. Warren talks to Rob. Terri Morasco: And them is doing pretty damn well considering we have the numbers!
{ Declan, Page, Wraith and La Bolsa start to get the advantage back with a four man power bomb on Ulf! Angel is down and out from their earlier attack. The four of them turn their attention to Rob and Warren now. Leo comes back into it but the numbers game is overwhelming as the outsiders clearly planned their attack better. Eventually it is the outsiders alone who stand in the center of the ring as everyone else has been taken out. The four of them then look to Angel per Wraith’s request. They pull him up and throw him to the corner of the ring. The four of them work together to toss the IWF hall of famer out of the ring but it’s Rob and Warren who come to his rescue. A European upper cut on Declan O’Connor! And finally a big time clothesline on Wraith! JC rallies the IWF troops as they all rise up. The outsiders now see how far out matched they are and as the IWF wrestlers make their way toward the outsiders, Chris Page, Wraith, La Bolsa and Declan O’Connor all powder out of the ring. JC turns his attention to the IWF crew behind him and it’s Rob who comes at him first! Rob Diamond and JC start to go at it but Leo comes in next then Angel then Warren, then Alek. Finally the entire IWF crew has turned on each other trying to get JC taken out of this match. }

Mickey takes down Wraith with a spinebuster and nearly sends Declan over the top rope with a wicked clothesline. Mickey Jones has the crowd firmly in his corner as he heads back across the ring looking to send Rob over the top rope. Rob lands on the apron and Mickey is just hitting him with everything he’s got trying to take Rob out. Angel comes in with Divine Justice on Mickey, seemingly saving Rob but Angel then goes to eliminate his former brother in law when Todd Williams for some reason saves Rob from elimination with a superkick to Angel’s face! }
Vasco Dias: I’m starting to think that Todd doesn’t know how a Roulette works?
Terri Morasco: I didn’t want to say it but I think you’re right.
{ Mickey is back up to his feet and the rest of the IWF wrestlers move in for him. Warren hits a kick. Leo hits a palm strike. Alek hits a boot. They have him up against the ropes and look to take Mickey out once and for all but the Wraith comes crashing into the party along with Chris Page, La Bolsa and Declan O’Connor! JC is worried that at any moment another outside talent will enter the ring. JC joins in to help team IWF as the clock reaches it’s final ten seconds. Vasco Dias: Our first disappointment of the evening!
Terri Morasco: Quiet!
Vasco Dias: You’re excited to see him?
Terri Morasco: No but… Quiet!
{ Adel charges into the ring but JC is right there to send him back out of the ring, over the top rope and to the floor for the first elimination and the quickest elimination in the history of the Roulette! }
Vasco Dias: I think that was the quickest elimination in the history of the Roulette!
Terri Morasco: That’s amazing!

{ Team outsider starts to fight back against team IWF! Wraith and Angel pair off once again. Chris Page goes for Leo. La Bolsa and Todd Williams are going at it. Declan O’Connor and Warren Kane are paired off. Mickey Jones is fighting with Alek Bronson. That leaves the rest of the IWF crew to fight among themselves. JC Keeton goes for Rob Diamond. Terri Morasco: We have almost everyone still in the ring besides Adel!
Vasco Dias: It’s a crowded ring with a crowded field!
Terri Morasco: Something has to give!
{ The fighting continues. Angel manages to fight his way back into the ring. All the pairings break down as a big brawl erupts in the center of the ring. Everyone is fighting everyone. There are no more teams. No one is working together. The outsiders are fighting the outsiders. The IWF loyal are fighting the IWF loyal. Alliances are forgotten as everyone is just trying to to get someone else out of the ring as the timer continues to count. JC has found himself with Leo. Angel is paired off with Page. Wraith is going to war with Declan. La Bolsa is battling Todd. There are no corners left for the rest of the people in the Roulette as the fight continues. Terri Morasco: They did and we still have Jason Cashe and Stephen Terrella in there!
Vasco Dias: So who is coming out next!?
Alison Valance: Entering at number 17… Warren Suffering!
Vasco Dias: Oh Christ…
{ Warren charges down to the ring and enters. He runs right at Stephen Terrella who drops a should and sends Warren flying over the top rope and to the outside! }
Vasco Dias: That was fast, not the fastest but fast.
Terri Morasco: Suffering probably shouldn’t have charged right at Terrella like that.
Vasco Dias: Definitely not.
{ JC, Ulf, Jason and Stephen all meet in the center of the ring as the only four men left in this match. The four of them are just hauling off on each other with everything they have. Stephen eventually cracks Ulf hard. Jason catches JC with his own right hand. Jason and Stephen move in on Ulf and Jc and just unload on them. Jason and Stephen hit JC with a double spinebuster. Jason and Stephen then turn to Ulf who they hit with a Hart Attack! Jason and Stephen get up and look pumped up by their team work then Jason quickly turns on Stephen and cracks him with a right hand. Jason sends Stephen into the ropes and tries to eliminate him but Stephen gets under the clothesline. Stephen grabs Jason and tries to dump him over the top rope. JC and Ulf return to the action and try to dump both men over the top rope! }
Vasco Dias: We are half way through the Roulette with four men still in the ring! I feel like the winner is already standing in front of us!
Terri Morasco: I find it hard to disagree!
{ Ulf and JC break away and try to talk strategy but Jason and Stephen charge in without a plan at all and take both men down. Jason and Stephen work over Ulf and JC with everything they’ve got. They rain down the rights and lefts as JC and Ulf try to cover up but they are unable to block every shot. Stephen pulls JC up and sends him into the rope. Stephen hits a clothes line that sends JC to the outside! JC is on the apron and Jason runs in with a shoulder block that sends JC flying to the crowd barrier! But JC’s feet still have not hit the floor! Ulf comes in and tackles both Stephen and Jason! JC is balancing on the crowd barrier before he leaps back to the ring apron then sling shots himself back into the ring with a clothesline on Jason Cashe! Ulf grabs Stephen with a release German suplex! The clock is counting down as we prepare ourselves for is next! }
Alison Valance: Entering at number 18… Denny Winston!
Vasco Dias: Here we go!
Terri Morasco: Denny is ready!
{ Denny hits the ring and drops Jason, then he drops Ulf, then he drops JC! Denny is fired up and goes for Stephen but Terrella hits a nasty big boot! Terrella picks up Denny by the neck for a double choke toss and sends Denny flying out of the ring! }
Vasco Dias: Damn!
Terri Morasco: Stephen with another elimination!
{ Stephen turns back to JC and charges into him with a big shoulder tackle! Jason is paired off with Ulf and trying to work him toward the ropes. Ulf is fighting back but Jason is just unrelenting as he continues to attack. Stephen has JC up against the ropes and is trying to send him over the top but JC is fighting back with everything he has. }
Vasco Dias: Things are getting pretty intense here, I wonder if we will see another elimination before number 19 gets out here.
Terri Morasco: I very much doubt it.
Alison Valance: Entering at number 19… James Gilmore!
{James Gilmore rushes out from backstage, takes a moment to acknowledge the fans before rushing into the ring. He takes a spinning wheel kick to the back of Jason Cashe. Ulf takes a moment to catch his breath as James changes targets and hits Terella with a spear followed by some mounted punches. JC takes the chance of Terella’s distraction to hit him in the back with some more hits.}
Vasco Dias: Terella was so close to getting JC out of the ring!
Terri Morasco: But Gilmore wanted his presence to be known.
{Ulf picks up Cashe and tries to powerslam him over the ropes but Cashe takes the hit and hangs onto the rope, trying to lift himself back into the ring. Terella picks Gilmore up and tosses him ACROSS THE RING}
Vasco Dias: WHOA!
Terri Morasco: OH MY GOD!
{Gilmore lands on top of Ulf, knocking the former world champion to the mat. Cashe takes this chance to lift himself back into the ring. Terella turns to look at JC who hits him with a drop kick. Cashe lifts Gilmore up and tries to toss him out of the ring but he gets a headbutt from the Texan native.}
Alison Valance: Entering at number 20…Dean Harper!
Vasco Dias: Well, after the draw of the tag team match earlier I have to imagine that Dean is going to want to make a splash here.
Terri Morasco: Or at least unleash some pain to feel better.
{Dean comes walking down the ring and jumps onto the top rope and hits Ulf with an Oathbreaker. Gilmore is unleashing mounted punches on Cashe. Terella backhands JC into the corner and knees him repeatedly in the mid section. Dean kicks Ulf in the head but then turns and hits Gilmore with a Step up Enzurgiri. As Cashe is getting back to his feet Ulf hits him with a double leg takedown.}
Vasco Dias: Dean switched from Ulf to Gilmore. He’s got beef with both of them so I can’t say I’m surprised.
Terri Morasco: Gilmore didn’t do anything to Dean….lately.
{Ulf picks Cashe up for a move but Terrella comes over out of nowhere and hits Ulf with a low blow, making ulf drop Cashe hard to the ring. Terella picks Ulf up with a fish hook and smash him into the ring post. Dean is continuing to unleash a beating on Gilmore. Jc is collecting himself in the other corner, trying to breath normally, touching his midsection that Terella had been unloading on.}
Vasco Dias: That was a brutal fall for Cashe.
Terri Morasco: Terella took two men out with that move.
Alison Valance: Entering at number 21… Mr Happy!
{MR Happy comes running down the ramp, tossing Faygo bottles in the crowd, he slips into the ring to give a hug to JC. JC tries to push him away while Terrella hits Ulf with a Guillotine drop. Dean puts a foot to Gilmore’s throat, who struggles against it. JC manages to move with Mr. Happy attached to him and manages to use the clown to bump into Dean. Dean gets up off of Gimore’s throat and super kicks Mr Happy in the head, knocking the clown against the ropes. JC doesn’t waste a moment to lift the clown up and over the ropes!}
Vasco Dias: Another elimination for JC!
Terri Morasco: He is getting some good elimination in!
{Gilmore spears Dean into JC knocking them both into the ring post. Cashe is slowly lifting himself on the ropes. Terella hits Ulf with a Tilt-a-whirl Backbreaker. Gilmore backs off slightly and hits JC and Dean with a missile drop kick.}
Vasco Dias: Gilmore isn’t laying down here!
Alison Valance: Entering at number 22….Rob Diamond!
Terri Morasco: Already?!
{The crowd has a mixed reaction to seeing Rob back out, he doesn’t waste time giving a fuck how they feel as he goes running into the ring. He slides in and hits Gilmore with a running boot. With Gilmore handled Dean and Jc push away from each other. Rob looks at JC who nods, and motions him forward. The two lock up and try to push each other in the corner as Dean kicks Gilmore in the head again.}
Vasco Dias: Rob and JC going at it again.
Terri Morasco: Likely because JC eliminated him last time he was in the ring here.
{Terella tosses Ulf over the rope but Ulf catches the bottom rope before hitting the floor, pulling himself back into the ring. Terella moves across the ring and hits Cashe with a stomp. Rob knees JC in the stomach and tosses him towards the ropes. Rob turns and he looks right at Terella.}
Alison Valance: Entering at number 23….Chris Diamond!
Vasco Dias: Here we go!
Terri Morasco: Chris and Rob in the ring at the same time? Who picked this order number?!
{As Terella and Rob move to get into it with each other, Chris Diamond comes barreling down the ramp and climbs into the ring, pushing the two men apart. Seen saying something to them and pointing out the other men in the ring. Rob and Terella look at Chris and then each other. The three all nod.}
Vasco Dias: Oh I think we are going to see a new team up here.
Terri Morasco: I don’t like that.
{Terella goes for Dean with a spine buster. Rob goes back after Ulf with a double arm ddt. Chris does a big boot to Gilmore and then JC in turn.}
Vasco Dias: They are really teaming up here. I honestly am pumped to see this! Let the age of Diamond begin!
Terri Morasco: I don’t know if I’d call it an age but…
{Gilmore tries to suplex Chris but Rob hits his old friend with a drop kick before going back to focus on Ulf. Ulf hits Rob with a forearm. JC hits chris with a Spinning Uppercut. Terella goes on an unyielding beat down on Dean, clearly picking his target.}
Vasco Dias: Things are really going crazy in the ring right now. It’s insane!
Terri Morasco: But you love it, don’t you?
Vasco Dias: Of course!
Alison Valance: Entering at number 24…Max Deamon!
{Max comes running down the ramp and leaping into the ring, sliding under the rope and hits Gilmore with a Enzuguri before lifting him up and trying to get him over the rope. Jc and Chris are exchanging blows back and forth. Rob has Ulf up and is also trying to toss him out of the ring. Terella lifts Dean up to put him over the rope but Dean bit’s Terella hard enough to make him bleed, Terella drops the smaller man and takes a step back.}
Vasco Dias: Damn it, there goes Dean, biting people again.
Terri Morasco: We really should get him a muzzle.
{Dean wipes his mouth before charging Terella 540 kick to the throat, making Terella down to one knee. Dean hits him with a couple knee strikes to the face before Terella tosses him aside into Chris and JC. Ulf manages to kick Rob in the face and makes him let up as he rights himself back into the ring. Demon and Gilmore are exchanging hits back and forth.}
Vasco Dias: The non-Diamond and Terellas of this match are trying to make a come back.
Terri Morasco: Hopefully it’s not too late.
Alison Valance: Entering at number 25… Nick Danger!
{Nick Danger comes running towards the ring. Terella gets back to his feet just as Danger enters the ring, grabbing the little man and unleashing a pumphandle drop on him. Chris grabs Dean by the throat, clearly picking a new target as JC moves away from them to go hit Rob with a Jumping Knee Strike. Ulf joins in with a Spinning Backfist to Rob’s head.}
Vasco Dias: Nick Danger is in Danger here.
Terri Morasco: You’ve been waiting all night to say that, haven’t you?
{Daemon has Gilmore almost over the ropes but Gilmore headbutts him and gets back into the ring. Chris is unleashing hell on Dean, Terella is punching Nick in the face repeatedly, Rob is taking it from both ends from Ulf and JC.}
Vasco Dias: The ring is certainly filling up here.
Terri Morasco: It is getting a little crowded again.
Alison Valance: Entering at number 26…Seth Evans!
{Seth Evans comes out to cheers from the crowd, excited to see the Game On host back on IWF. He rushes into the ring, climbing through the ropes, looks around at the carnage and makes a call to assist Nick Danger but goes after Terella. Rob ducks a move and JC hits Ulf with a drop kick. Rob then gets back up and headbutts JC. Chris looks to be choking Dean.}
Vasco Dias: This is getting awesome!
Terri Morasco: It is getting…something, yeah.
{Terella lifts Seth and Danger up, one in each hand and moves to the ropes and tosses them both over the ropes, Danger manages to land right on top of Seth. With some assistance from Evans, Danger gets back into the ring without touching the ground. JC comes up behind Terella and tries to lift him over the ropes while he’s distracted. The crowd chants Seth’s name for good sportsmanship. Daemon slides over and tosses Danger back out of the ring much to the disappointment of the crowd.}
Vasco Dias: Hilarious!
Alison Valance: Entering at number 27…Oracle!
Terri Morasco: Oh wow, I wonder where he’s been.
{Oracle slowly walks up to the ring. Chris Diamond pushes Dean over the rope but Dean is hanging onto the rope and bends backwards, lifting Chris out of the ring with his legs–Rob ducks JC and Ulf rushing over to try and save his brother but– Dean drops him on the outside. Oracle steps around Chris Diamond who is screaming at Dean and enters the ring. Rob diamond cutters Oracle and tosses him out of the ring to scream at Dean himself.}
Vasco Dias: Well, that was short lived.
Terri Morasco: Poor Oracle.
{Rob and Dean are exchanging blows. Cashe finally shakes himself off the mat, looking around at the changes in the ring, holding his head a little as he looks around. He sees Daemon is just kind of watching the chaos and takes advantage by coming up behind him and tossing him over the ropes. Max lands on the outside and seems just as shocked as everyone else that Cashe was awake again.Ulf tries to get Cashe over the rope but Cashe knocks him back and the two start to fight it out.}
Vasco Dias: Holy shit!
Alison Valance: Entering at number 28… Matt Knox!
Vasco Dias: Our new Television world champion!
Terri Morasco: This has got to be a hard follow up to that match.
{Terella kicks JC off of him and lands back down on the mat. He moves for JC butKnox rushes down the ramp and slides into the ring, knocking Terella off his feet. JC helps Knox to his feet. The two of them move towards Terella and together start to push him over the ropes. Cashe and Ulf stop their fighting to see a chance to get the big guy out of the ring and move to assist while Rob and Dean keep fighting. Gilmore sees everyone else trying to get Terella out of the ring and decides to join in as well.}
Vasco Dias: Now that just doesn’t seem fair.
Terri Morasco: Sometimes you have to do what you have to do.
{With almost everyone in the ring lifting him on the ropes, Terella fights, hitting Ulf, Gilmore in the face with his legs. Cashe let's go to not get hit but takes a moment to go after Gilmore to try and get him out too, Ulf gets to his feet and tries to stop Cashe. JC and Knox work together and push Terella out of the ring, clasping hands as soon as the big guy falls.}
Vasco Dias: Stephan Terella eliminated! Wow! I think he tied for most eliminations though, right?
Terri Morasco: With Abraxes last year, I think?
Alison Valance: Entering at number 29… Solomon khan
{Khan comes rushing towards the ring, Cashe throws Gilmore out of the ring, causing the texan to hit the ground. Ulf hits Cashe in the back of the head. As Khan climbs over the ropes Ulf hits him as well and tosses him over the ropes before focusing on Cashe. Rob and Dean are still fighting each other as Jc and Knox turn and go after Ulf.}
Vasco Dias: It might be a bad idea to focus on Ulf right now.
Terri Morasco: But if you consider him to be the competition, it does make a little bit of a difference.
{JC and Knox lift Ulf up and push him over the ropes as he tries to fight them back on it. Cashe moves away from the carnage to collect his breath. Rob has Dean pressed against the ropes and is moving to push him out as well.}
Vasco Dias: Things are getting close here.
Terri Morasco: But the last entrant is on his way down!
Alison Valance: Entering at number 30… PAX STORMCROW!
{Pax bursts onto the scene and runs down the ramp, smiling and waving at the fans before he gets into the ring. He goes quickly and lifts Rob’s legs causing both Dean and Rob Diamond to land on the outside.}
Vasco Dias: WHAT?
Terri Morasco: OH MY GOD!
{Pax then turns, looks at Cashe who holds his hands up showing he has no ill will. Pax goes after Knox. He picks him up and suplexes him out of the ring! Jc lets go of Ulf briefly so Ulf can get back on his feet.}
Vasco Dias: We are down to the final four here!
Terri Morasco: Pax Stormcrow, Jason Cashe, JC Keeton and Ulf Hednir! What a final four!
{All four men look between each other before charging at each other. It is absolutely chaotic in the ring as it’s unclear who is going after who from one moment to the next. Ulf manages to get Pax up on the ropes and pushes him out. Feeling pretty good about himself he is unfortunately double teamed by JC and Cashe. JC kicks Cashe in the leg before tossing Ulf out himself.}
Vasco Dias: Oh my god! The final two!
Terri Morasco: JC Keeton and Jason Cashe! What are the odds?!
{Cashe and JC fight like their lives depend on it before JC manages to toss Cashe out of the ring!!!}
Alison Valance: And the winner of the 2022 Roulette and facing the world champion at Night of the immortals is..JC KEETON!!!!
{Confetti streams from the air as JC stands alone in the ring, taking in the crowd cheers as he stumbles a little bit, overwhelmed by the response.}
Vasco Dias: I can’t believe it!
Terri Morasco: JC Keeton is main eventing Night of the immortals!
