Pax’s vlog starts off with him backstage on his phone. Sweat stands out on his skin as he finds a chair in the hallway to sit down.
“Hey what’s up Neechies! It’s ya boi coming to you live backstage and guess what?”
Pax grins as he holds up the ball he had just retrieved.
“I’m number 30 at the Roulette. Went out there into that slew of chaos that was the All In match and I got myself the prize.”
He lifts a towel, wiping at his face as he lets out a breath.
“It was a hell of a match, and I’ve got a hell of a headache. Thanks Rob. I’ll be paying that back to you later. Maybe at High Stakes, if you are still around by the time I come out.”
He grins brightly, lifting a bottle of water and takes a long drink from it.
“Holy hell, that was a match. Terella didn’t even get in the ring. So I can walk out of here on my own. I appreciate that. Wonder what happened with him? I’m sure it’s fine.”
He shakes his head, letting out a breath as he leans back.
“So coming in at 30 is a big advantage for me, especially since I got my match against Knox earlier in the night. But it’s not all sunshine and roses ya know? There are plenty of people in this match I’d like to get my hands on. Give them some payback or just get the opportunity to mix it up with them in the ring. Coming in last kinda ruins those chances though. Kind of a bummer, ya know? There’s all these guys coming in from all over the world that I’d love to mix it up with but I might not get the chance too. Hopefully they hang around so I get another shot at em.”
He smiles, taking another swig from his bottle of water.
“I just love the chaos and randomness of this event. Sure, it’s not the purest expression of wrestling, but it doesn’t always have to be like that. Besides, it gives me the opportunity to suplex some fools around and dump em out of the ring. Who doesn’t like that? I look forward to this event every year. It’s just a fun time.”
He takes a drink of water, leaning back against the wall.
“I mean, a shot at the champ is pretty great too, don’t get me wrong. I haven’t won the roulette yet, but hey maybe this is my year? I haven’t had a shot at Wraith or Nick Knight yet. That could be a lot of fun. We will just have to wait and see though. Right now, I need to hit the showers. Starting to tense up.”
Pax grins and flashes two fingers to the camera.

Pax leans his head back against the wall, enjoying the feeling of the cold stone against his warm body. Number 30. He had gotten a stroke of luck that was both a blessing and a curse. The blessings were obvious. Entering at Number 30 was one of the best ways to get a win in the Roulette. It would give him time to rest and recover from his match against Matt Knox. There would be less competition to face off against when he got to the ring.
He let out a breath and pushed himself to his feet, rolling his shoulders and shaking out his arms to keep them from tensing up before making the way to the locker room.
But it was also a curse. If he came up short, the number 30 entrance could be used against him like a weapon. All his talk about being ‘Mr. No Days Off’ would sound false. The burden of success is so much higher when you are the last man out there.
He shook his head again, lifting the bottle of water to his mouth to take a long drink and splash some of the water on his face. Best not to dwell on that. He didn’t want to get into his own head about it. That’s when trouble would start. Just go out there and do the work. It’s what he was good at. What he excelled at. So long as he knew he put in the best work he was capable of, he would get through whatever the world had to throw at him.
His phone buzzed, knocking him from his thoughts. He stops outside of the locker room, lifting his phone and unlocking it to see a text message.
“Are you OK?! I saw you with medical staff. I’m so worried about you.”
He stared at the message for a long moment. His fingers moved to respond before he started to think. About all the tension lately. About how she was dodging his messages and not responding to him. About the hurt that made him feel.
He lets out a breath, turning his phone off before stepping into the locker room to hit the showers.
