Well, well...I've been perusing through the rumor mills and found this rather interesting tidbit. It seems as if Caroline Machado, a fresh-faced, up-and-coming star in professional wrestling, is considering a change in scenery. According to several unnamed sources, it appears as if Caroline might be signing on with another promotion come the end of May -- including Retro Championship Wrestling, the indy company ran by James Gilmore and Fiona McFly. While we can't confirm or deny if any of these rumors are true, wherever Miss Machado winds up next will have a hot ticket in its hands.

Here we go again.
Just a few days after I tweeted out the first Caroline rumor, it looks like more fuel has been added to the speculation. Several talent scouts have been watching her sparring sessions in the Rising Dragons octagon over the past few days, but one potentially stood out from the bunch. I was able to speak to an unnamed representative from the mixed martial arts circuit -- more specifically, the world of the UFC. He noted her strong work ethic and her passion for sports as a whole. After the sparring sessions concluded, I wanted to get a word with the Brazilian but she respectfully declined, noting that she had to go help babysit the Gilmore twins.
Whether she winds up in another wrestling promotion or on the MMA circuit, Caroline will be one hot ticket. Stay tuned...
P.S.: Special shout-out to the Gilmore twins, Luke Reagan and Leia Melania, who are celebrating their first birthday tonight.

Monday has come and gone, and well, well...we've got more nuggets to share on Caroline's situation.
More talent scouts have shown up on the doorstep of the Rising Dragons Academy -- soon to be renamed Revolution Texas pending a partnership deal that is still being negotiated by all parties involved -- and many of these representatives have expressed great interest in signing the Brazilian to a lucrative offer. While the overal rumor of Miss Machado leaving IWF is just that, a rumor, I can confirm that Caroline has been wrestling for the past few weeks without an agreement from IWF management. In effect, she is a free agent and is open to exploring potentially new ventures down the line.
Already, several detractors have accused Caroline of taking her ball and running home, given her lack of success so far in the industry. On a professional and personal level, I find that to be rather bogus -- Caroline is only 23 years old and is still relatively new to full-time professional wrestling. Speaking to Caroline myself, I learned that she has been feeling bothered by all the speculation surrounding her next venture, but at the same time, she feels very appreciative of the scouts and representatives who had been watching her and taking notes. She tells me that, regardless of whether or not she decides to do, she will always be grateful to the IWF -- and especially to James Gilmore and Fiona McFly -- for allowing her a platform to express herself.
To that end, she has been making phone calls with IWF representatives in hopes to get a deal done by the beginning of June. This is very indicative of the fact that, despite being open to interviews with other reps, Caroline is making a conscientious effort to ensure that her first priority is to sit down and talk with Imperial -- apparently committing to stay until a final resolution can be achieved.
Stay tuned...
